i (Aashish george) had purchased a two nokia handsets nokia xds/rm-980 and nokia 210, from MOBILE HUB, J-42, Shop No.3, besides home saaz, lajpat nagar-I, New delhi-110024, mobile number +91-[protected], [protected], vide bill dated 1329, on 18/05/2014, book no.14, TIN no. [protected].
nokia 210, it was not powering on, so i took it to nokia care, where they charged me for service and said that my product is out of warranty, they also charged me 100 for inspection, i feel cheated.
I had bought a Nokia 210 mobile handset on 18/05/2014, but the Nokia care people say that the phone was activated in march 2014, therefore they cannot give warranty.
I showed them the orginal bill, I even checked your online support which states that warranty period will begin with the bill and date of purchase.
Now, the question that needs an answer here is, whether I was sold a used phone on a genuine bill?? Or whether the customer service people are using the activation as an excuse to charge customers like me?? Either way, I am being cheated.
Kindly guide me, because this affects your reputation as well as my pocket as an salaried person.
