We see many adds on BOSE home theater systems which are fake and cheating.
Also see complaints on this.
Is there any action taken on these adds?

Please remove these so people wont be cheated .

I am going to take a very serious action on this and spread this to wider people so that they stop using OLX.

Kindly take actions.

I am Punit Singh Nanda from Jaipur belonged to a poor family who worked on regular basis to run livelihood. I found myself free during night time so i decided to work online for part time.On 6 oct 2015 I came to know about COMPANY NAME: SKY BLUE GROUPS. PVT. LTD [Registered with LABOR BUREAU (Ministry of Labor & Employment) & an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company]

It pretended me to be registered by govt. of India, so I believed them.So, I paid Rs.600 as registration fee on vodafone no:- [protected] by m-pesa. They asked me to post 200 advertisement in one day, of their company on OLX and it was weekly based salary job .They asked to give me Rs.6000 as salary on the last day of the week when 1400 advertisements completed.
As per terms and conditions of company I have to give my user name and password of OLX and gmail account to the company, but ayush ([protected])

and sukhmanjit singh ([protected]); members of company deleted my account last night (14 oct 2015) which I came to know from OLX customer care service . As the other day on 15 oct 2015, I asked them for the salary but they refused me to give it and replied that you don't have any proof left whatever you have posted or you have done nothing yet. Now they have returned me registration fee i.e.Rs.580 instead of Rs.600; which they mentioned not to be returned or not refundable as per terms and conditions of the company .Now, please help me to get my salary back from these ditchers. Take a strict action against the company and it's members so that in future they couldn't cheat anymore .

Getting more phones somebody added my phone number in olx.com i am suffering my many phones calls coming coming to me . getting phone calls day and night. somebody kept my number to iPhone 5s please remove from olx

Hallo I am ganesh. I had given online add on olx for samsung s4mini dead i got a message for my ad the seller was mohit chaubey frm shahganj jaunpur dist up. Mohit the seller agreed to sell me s4 touch n display at 1500rs / terms was he will provide me courier details wid d msg frm dtdc confirmation. he sent me d confirmation msg. D deal was as i get d confirmation msg n pics of my parcel with dtdc tracking number. I transferd rs 1500 frm sbi bank to mohit chaubey. A / c [protected] / ifsc:0000179 branch code:0179 branch shahganj jaunpur dust up. But till date i dint got my courier. As i tried to track it thr was an error saying a digit is missing but d conformation msg frm dtdc courier also state the same tracking. Number which i was trying. This is a clear online fraud in d name of dtdc
This person cheated so many people I have all the details of sending money so please tell me can I go to police station to complaint so in future this person can't chaeat another poor people

From a long time, I have sold many things on OLX and I am satisfied with its services. But recently, problem has started. I gave an Ad regarding sale of an very old large rusted steel almirah. A person came to see it also. He did not like it and went away. After some time, he started ringing my phone continuously and started sending abusive insulting text messages. According to him, I am cheater, fraud and a very bad person. He went on saying whatever non sense came in his mind! I don't know what wrong I have done! I did not force him to purchase the almirah. What is the need for all these ? He think himself some great VIP maybe president of the country! He wants free home delivery of goods! He then asked me to compensate for the petrol cost of his bike! He thinks I wasted his time! I did not tell him to ride bike, why will I compensate! This is just not fair! He has no right to insult anyone! His number is [protected]. Serious genuine OLX sellers, please beware of this person! God save everyone from him! I have kept all his slang text messages intact in my mobile, and if necessary, I have to go to the police, for help!

Some one posted an advertisement and given my name and phone number. So I got so many calls from the people.

1.Some one posted the advertisement saying:
"Hi, My name is sudhir. I am selling my honda unicorn 2014 model bike, perfect condition. I need money urgently so i am selling it in cheaper price. So call me for test drive."
2. OLX users by seeing this AD, made so many calls to me, I was unable to answer them, I told the people who called me that I didn't posted the advertisement, even then those persons abused me saying how your number is reflecting in the advertisement.

3.Some people started pinging me on social web sites also, in those website they saw my pic, because of that I lost my prestige.

4. In my office so many of my colleagues asked me why you posted the ad very cheaply, here I lost all my wealth and reputation in front of all my office colleagues.

5. OLX people are allowing users to submit the ad without any verification, people can submit the ad with whatever number they wish.

6.Because of this ad I received lot of calls, because of this I was unable to attend to office meeting also.

7.As lot of calls are coming to my mobile I was unable to speak with my parents also. users keep on calling to me at night also.

As I lost my reputation, prestige and my image got lowered, So I am opposing this and filing a complaint on OLX.

Please take my concerns as priority

While searching for high end Motorcycle adds i came across 2 advertisements posted by same person, seems to be a foreigner most probably afro-american. AD-ID:[protected], cell number [protected], Bermuda green. this gentleman projects himself to be working in embassy in mumbai. as per him the bike is with Mumbai customs and buyer has to deposit/transfer 50000 ~ 75000 rupees and then he will deliver the bike. In my opinion he might be able to cheat some naive buyers. please verify his antecedents and preferably take some legal action against him.

Myself kamal from delhi india. Olx people are so unprofessional they have banned my account without any reason. why they advertise so heavily if they do not want people to sell their items on their site. i just posted some laptop charging adapter adds and i see that my account is banned . before these adds my account running smooth . my email id is [protected]@gmail.com

Why OLX is allowing ads like this, when will you not allow this kind of ads? He will get money and cheat the Buyer? Just asked him why are u in delhi and saying as coimbatore, for which he uses bad words.

Sir, iam seeing one mobile advertaisement in olx ( mobile adv.no[protected] at the price of 4601/-. Iam give to order that mobile, But that firm send to me one set shoes by vpp. Iam paid 4515rs. That firm name B.telemarketing, 15/1 vasanth vihar colony, kalyanpur, lucknow. One phone number also give..[protected] That item order number. K4418 dt.28/9/15.

My name is Roberts.residing in chennai. I have seen an ad of second hand cars at a very low price stating that the car is in international airport. You have to pay a parking fees of Rs.50000 or something and take a drive of vehicle and keep RC book with you(Likewise they are saying through a phone)...but i[censored] enquire much about vehicle...it will come to know that it is a fraud. Kindly check on this issue and rectify this. I also heard this from some other friends too

I am a user of OLX India, have been posting in Computer Hardware Section for selling Apple Computer Products, as this is my business, where i sell used certify products. It takes lot of time to prepare a quality ad with original pictures of the object. I had posted some ads after wasting lot of time and resources. Today, just with a single click, OLX team removed my all ads without showing any reason thereof. They even blocked / banned my OLX account. This sort of attitude of OLX moderators is highly objectionable and totally uncalled for. I request to take immediate remedial steps and get restored my OLX account and the ads which I have had posted using my precious time. I have not violated any of OLX rule or policy but as soon as I post few ads, my ads are deleted and account is banned nullifying my all effort made to post those ad. In this case, I paid 14000(for One pair) advance to confirm the fish as per the seller request. After I ask to come directly bangalore to collect the fish. But he told me I am very busy. So u put the amount to the given below account. And then I send you through parcel from bangalore to Trivandrum directly in kallada travels bus serveice within 8 hourse in thermocol box. After I put the amount and then his number is switch off. Kindly resolve my issue. Please banned this type of scam ad. UP.based(Adress-B .Teleshoping vasant vihar colony, kalyanpur, Lucknow U.P.)had given advertisement of selling Samsung grand 2 mobile phone on OLX .when i odered i got other product they send me shoes instead of samsung grand 2 . they send me order no-(k4373)and track no (CU[protected]IN)I have paid money 4515 INR for the mobile phone not for shoes please help me out of this, please do the need full as earliest

I saw an ad of iphone 6plus 128gb for 30000rs... When i enquired about it they where like its a gift phone from abroad and its genuine iphone and not china make...wen we finalized everything thing they asked me to make payments through bank account and asked to deposit 15000 first... And i did it and later wen i received the product it was a china made phone and not even in working conditions Note - they had sent some pictures of iphone from Google... And which was fake

But after sending the money when I called him, he didn't pick up the phone and still now also. And now he blocked my number. I haven't got the iPad or money back. Last night I posted few adds for selling my books. Immediately after the add was online I started getting calls and wats app messages (obscene messages) which was no where related to my add. Please remove my phone number from the add and going forward please don't make it mandatory to enter the mobile number. Or else please provide an option to make the phone number invisible to people. So that the people who are posting add on your website, their phone numbers are not misused by any.

Hi... On 3rd Sept an ad was posted on Olx with my contact number . Since then I have receiving calls from interested buyers. Till today I have received around 50 calls, which enraged me to a level that I had to stop receiving calls came on the number.
