I had purchased Washing Mahine Hydrimatic 60 Fully automatic one in last week of Oct 06, The machine is having 2 yrs warrenty.
There is problem in function of Control PCB which was reported 15days back, Company Enggn has visited & confirmed that The same need to be replaced & will be done in 2-3 days, Till date nobody has reverted, Locl services centre is dogging I had also done complents in company, but in vain,
I am mentally harrased due to this attitude of co towards cutomer as I have purchased 3 products of ONIDA, & the future of the co seems DARK,

Onida Washing Machine — Non working of the Buzzer and The body opened up at the seams

Dear Sir,

I would like to bring it to your notice that the consumer electronics bought from the company J.P ELECTRONICS has been giving us trouble from the 2nd month of its purchase. The buzzer that announces the end of one rinse has stopped working and the body has come open at the seam. We spoken to the concerned company on date: 03.06.2008 / 08.06.2008/ 11.06.2008/ and the complaint number is 231. We also spoke to the proprietor of the company Mr. Vakharia, who assured immediate solution which has not seen the day yet. Hence I am writing this letter to you. I would be obliged if this matter is given serious notice and the needful done. We have been paying our monthly installments without any delay. We any actions are not taken immediately then I will be forced to stop the any further payment.

Hope to see a favorable response.

Sir I have purchased a Onida Hydrimatic 60 Washing machine on 13th June 2008 from Adhar Mall. But after one month the wash tub has problem and after complaint made both the Agent and service Engineers has visited and confirmed the problem. They told that with in 2 to 3 days they will solve the problem. But till date nothing happened.
As I am having the back pain problem and as i had operation of the back bone I could not wash cloth by hand. And in our area servents to wash cloths are not available. That's why we purchased the fully automatic machine. Now what I have to do? I am very irritated by the answers whenever I phoned to that Adhar Agent Deepak Patil. Always he will tell wait another 3 to 4 days . today he told wait another 5 days. Really I am going mad.
Please do something.

I have selected on recommendation of outlet of Onida when my relatives and friends have Samsung, Wirlpool etc. and all are very good.
I am going to file a case against Onida Washing Machine in consumer forum, civil and criminal courts as even on a lot of complaints no body even called on phone and dont hear and dont turned up and my daughter has admitted to Nursing home due electric shock by this machine and its body from bottum has completely demmaged and broken automatically and functions are not working but after selling they dont hear.
I will sure teach them a lesson.

Onida Washing Machine — no service

We had purchased Onida- waterfall semi-automatic washing machine WO 68SXL1WH with invoice no. TH/MAR07/0054 dt 09 MAR 07 from Sumaria, Thane show room .

On 2nd October 08 the machine was not working therefore we informed Mr. Yusuf in Sumaria on the same day & in turn they contacted someone from your company. Accordingly one technician Mr. Deepak Singh visited my house and informed that the pulsator is not working that would be replaced.

But after a week, he did not turn up then again we called sumaria then we were informed that the part was being procured from the company.

There after we diligently reminded sumaria, Mr. Deepak Singh & his senior Mr. Sunil Kataria daily thrice without fail. But no avail till today they are giving fake answers. There are utterly arrogant and insulting to the customer.

At the time of purchase we were told that the ONIDA Company has Mumbai base & every service call would be attended promptly.

For the last one & half year we did not face any problem with the machine but when we faced since one month we are at gross difficulty.

Even though the machine is in warranty, if company fails in this manner, should we not seek consumer court in this matter.

Kindly revert to us immediately, unless we will need to seek legal course.
I totaly agree with the complait. I am facing the same problem. I am resident of mumbai. Service center at mumbai is very inresponsive. All customer should go to consumer court together.
I had purchase a Onida Washing Machine before 10 year. Now Washing machine's motars are not working. I do not know the onida service centre, contact number and place in Lucknow. Pl. guide me.
I ;npurchased Onida washing machine(hydrologic)in 2004 in exchange of old onida washing machine which became out of order after use of about 3-4 years as the necessary parts were not available.The new washing machine also worked satisfactory for about 2-3 years but anyhow as there was not any major fault repair was done by the center.

Now the above washing machine again is not working. I lodged a complaint for its repair vide No 247dated 2-5-2009. at your Ludhina service center.After 2-3 days a mechanic visited us. and informed that a part of the machine is to be replaced and he will bring it next day.But he did not come for 3-4 days .After repeated calls another mechanic visited and he too informed that some part of the machine is to be replaced and he will bring it shortly.But even after 15 days the part has not been replaced Now, today again I enquired the service center and was inromed that the part has not been received so far and it will take another 5 days.It is very strange that if in a city like ludhiana spare parts are not available what will be the condition of other servcice centers.Now a periodof 16 days has lapsed and the machine has not been repaired . and we are fcacing harrasment, If such is the state of affairs what is the use of opening servcice centers and introducing new models and the consumers should be left to think otherwise.Erarlier also our washing machine remained wih the service center fcor repair for more than three months and due to non availability of spare part I had to exchange the old machine with the new one as I had no other alternative .

Based on the complaint the Service Engineer - Mr Joy, [protected] and he has informed the PCB Board is faulty.

Onida Washing Machine — POOR SERVICE, POOR PRODUCT

I had purchase Onida Hydro Shakti Machine from M/s. Gemini Electronics - Mumbai in 2006. There are frequent complaints with the product during the warranty period. We had our AMC done twice & now it has expired on June 2009. We have made several calls to the call centre for renewal of AMC & repair of defective motor. Our complaint no is [protected] made in March / April was repaired in May / June 2009 end. Our another complaint no [protected] made in the month of September 2009 is yet to be attended. Most of the time spares parts are not available with the service centre & it takes a long time.

Nobody pick up the phone at service centre particularly on 28764605 / 28791499.
We somehow got a mobile no. of a gentlemen Mr. R bhatt [protected] who kept on making false promise of deputing the technician. Later on he also stopped pickingup the phone.

I fail to understand are the seniors management at ONIDA particularly the HEAD SALES, VP, MANAGING DIRECTORS ARE EITHER SLEEPING OVER THE NO. OF COMPLAINTS OR THEY ARE JUST NOT BOTHERED TO ATTEND THE LOYAL CUSTOMERS. WHY DO THEY MAKE TALL CLAIMS THAT WE ARE BEST ? I AM SO DISAPOINTED THAT HENCE FORTH IN FUTURE I SHALL NOT BUY ANY ONIDA PRODUCT & WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY TO BUY THE SAME.

Dear sir, I have purchased wahing machine from Mahaveer Eletronics Pune last two years back. Last month complaint was launched in Pune service central but still not copleted, personaly visited to your service centre, the officer said me that still wait again 8 days, My request you that if part is not available stop the production of washingmachine. My wahingmachine not working last two months due to part not available.If my machine is damaged due to not working who resposible.second thing is that yours service centre's officer has no manner how to talk with the costumers.

i brought a washing machine some time back.the warranty period is over.i got it renewed from the company by paying renewal warranty fees.there after i got a complaint and when contacted their executive, we were asked to put new machine in wash tub.the executive asked us to purchase from radhakrishna salai rather than from company.he asked that shopkeeper to get us a machine parts.
that machine got damaged within one week of repairing.when again contacted the executive told us that he cant do anything.
this is the working of ONIDA SERVICE CENTER.THIS IS DISGUSTING.

I have purchased ONIDA Fully Automatic Washing Machine Model: HYDROMATIC-72 from M/s.
Next retail shop No 83 BEL layout, near feb halli, Yidyaranyapura, Bangalore 560097 on 17 Dec 2008.
Which is having 02 years warrantee and further 2 years extended warranty vide EWC No [protected] EWC valid from 17 Dec 2010 to 16 Dec 2012 and TCR No 29837. Machine is not working and I had called ONIDA Service Center at Bangalore (Ph No: [protected]) on 11/12/2010 and complaint No is [protected]. Engineer had attended same on 13 Dec 2010 and told that some part of your machines has to be replaced. As machine is under warrantee, he assured that within 2-3 days he will come again and will replace the same. But No one turned up. So I again call on 16/12/2010 to
Mr. Nanjunda mechanic (Mobile No[protected]), he has replied that part has not come. Again on
20 Dec I approached to Service center, Manager Mr Acharya (Mobile No: [protected]), he replied within 2-3 days your problem will be shorted out. But no one turned up till date. I approached many times to Mr Acharya for the same, but every time he replied that we have not received faulty part of your washing machine from our Head Quarter. As I am suffering lot because of non working of my ONIDA Washing machine Since 10 Dec 2010 and nobody answering me when it will replaced. This is mental as well as physical harassment to me and my family. Therefore, Kindly look into this matter and solve problem as earliest.

Onida Washing Machine — Regarding complaint of onida company

I had purchased Washing Machine half automatic one in last week of Nov 2010 The machine is having 2 yrs warranty.

I agree with the very poor tract record of Onida even I am facing a problem of loud noise and they say that is the noise of the machine. With all products going for less noise pollution here are people saying that it is normal.That is for a 2month old machine which had a very low noise level to start with.That is the Produt development and quality of ONIDA.

Onida Washing Machine — After sales service non-existent

I called Onida customer service on 31 Dec 2012 for servicing my washing machine (Drum not rotating) that was bought 5 years back. The call was logged and a reference number [protected] was given. A service representative came from another company called Adonis Electronics, came and even without looking at the problem said "Drum has to be replaced". He charged Rs.250 for the visit and said the drum will cost Rs.6000. While I agreed he said the spare parts are not available and he will call me later on when it can be repaired. One week is gone and till now I made numerous calls (100s) to both Onida and Adonis but they are not responding and keep putting the phone down or dragging the due date. After waiting for a week I have no other option than buying a new washing machine because till now I am not even aware when they will attend to my service request. Adonis is making money by sending people multiple times sothat they can make money without even touching/repairing the machines. Once in the past I was charged Rs.500 again for just a visit and no repsir was carried out.

It is illegal to collect money from the customer without solving the problem reported.

ONIDA service is pathetic and I am formally filing a consumer complaint and planning to sue them. Request all people to make a note of it and be aware of the fact that ONIDA products in the market field have absence of customer service or lack of it. Please avoid buying ONIDA products.

    I have ONDIA COLOUR TELIVSION MODEL CO21FGLU Sl No. 4066780 and on 11.07.2007 suddenly the picture went blank and i registerd a complaint on the ONDIA Website, I got a call from one of the service centre on 12.07.2008 ELEGANT SYSTEMS - Jaya Nagar Bangalore, Mr. Singh [protected], 41667810 who said they will send their persons and they came and took the Chasis and then came and put it back the same nite, it was working fine, They have charged me Rs 2700/- and informed that there is a warranty of one year on the telivsion, but the same nite it was switching off automatically, we again called the dealer he sent the person and rectified that problem and created another problem where the screen itself has shifted and now its more than 15 days and he is not responding to any of the phone calls.. PLEASE DONT EVER CALL ELEGANT SYSTEM, JAYANAGAR BANGALORE for any of your complaints.. Such a worst service provider i have never seen in my life.. Request you to please inform how to take the same and get the money refunded since the problem with the tv still persisits

        I had bought an Onida DVD player the day before yesterday from Chellamani and Co ( telephine number[protected], when connecting the system, i kept recieving electrical shocks from the ouput pins and the DVD cabinet. My wife returned the same to Chellamani and Co today and asked them to replace it. The same salesman offerd to replace it with the same brand and also promised me that he will check the set before giving to us, however it was mentioned to my wife that there was no electricity and hence they cannot check the system. she asked for a replacement with another brand as we had lost faith in the brand and did not want to take a chance with the same brand. We were told by the manager that such change is possible only if we take permission from the main branch at Pursuvalkam Chennai. hence she had to go with hope that the replacement works well. when i again called to request a swap of brnds due to the safety issue, I was told to call the main branch on[protected], i was absolutely shocked to hear from the sales manager there that all DVDs do have an earthing problem and shock at times. I am amazed at the following. 1, The absolute disregard on the behalf of Onida Quality for allowing such a set to be cleared and the poor quality control and practices adopted by them. they do not even have a warning written any where on the system 2.What is more unacceptable is the standard of salemanship on the behalf of Chellamani and Co who despite knowing such safety lapses in the system continue to market the same. Also they provide zero customer concern and offer no empathy on customer grievances. What is, more alarming is they openly comment on safety lapses of products despite knowing the consequences of the same. I request this matter may be be addressed with concern by the team that analyzes the same. Thank you.

          Poor service after sales

          Im from chennai, I bought a new ONIDA - 29" Oxygen color television in the year 2005 - Jan with a 3 year warranty. Last year I encountered the first problem where the TV went off suddenly for no reason. Our house is equipped with 3 phase facility and there was no voltage problem.           Have bought ONIDA Split A/C, for Server Room in GMD Services India Limited. Stopped working two times within 10 months span and got problems in Whole net work due to A/C. Customer Care Dept. is also not responding. I have requested them considering the seriousness of the problem but still not responding to the complain.Is there any way to have justice for either replacement or loss to the company on account of it.
          Really we got tired, The agency through which we bought, he is also not responding and telling us we are not responsible for attending any complain reg. AC . Company will only handle the matter.

            I have booked a complaint on 02/07/08 for my Onida black 21” TV for display problems at Mangalore customer care center (Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd, Mangalore). Complaint reg no is H0011. After that I have called 2-3 times for the service. Then I have called on 8/07/08 to customer care service then I was shocked to here their answer that they have already attended the complaint and it was rectified. But still no body has visited our place.
            I have given for Annual maintenance for the period 26/06/07 to 26/06/09 & I have paid Rs 1075.00 for that .
            I think because of that they are not coming.
            I request for the prompt service & immediate action has to be taken for the bad & inefficient customer service.

              Sir,
              I have purchase a onida DVR 8637 on oct-2007 at the starting when i purchase DVR then company is not having any engineer to demonstrat DVR after many complaints to company they send an engineer from his head of department. Now still i am facing the bad service of DVR given at onida service center on dated 13/06/2008 for repearing. When i ask what's problem in my DVR from service center i get reply that power cord of DVR has been dead we have to change the power cord. The incharge of service center said that he will take 10 days to import power cord from his head office but till date the company is not having power cord to repear my DVR. Now when i am asking then from service center incharge say i have recived power cord from my head office. So please sir i am requesting you to please help me to solve my problem.

                I have given my Onida DVR 8637 on 13/06/08 at onida service center for repearing. Now after 21 days given my DVR for repeared, i feel like cheated, insulted.

                Nature of Complaint : DEAD POSITION (Power Cord Problem)

                History
                I had bought Onida DVR 8637 7th oct 2007 at Kanpur V R Communications 80 feet road. After 9 months completed my set has been dead and when i have given my DVR to onida service center then i get reply that the power cord of DVR is not working. When i ask what will the expected time to get my DVR back after repearing then the incharge of service center said he will take 10 days to arrange power cord but till date my DVR has been not repeared.
                Now, After 21 days incharege of service center is telling I needs to wait for 1 week, since Audit is going on.He is talking very rudely and in silly manner.

                I am really fed up of from Onida Service Engineer again & again.

                Now I am humbly request Onida Authority to step in and take the quick, sharp & necessary action to rectify my DVR 8637 problems.
                Then I had one more request to onida please keep some able persons in prime areas. (At least who can speak in politely) in customer service as relation ship managers.

                I hope ONIDA will try it's best to maintain the customer faith & esteem. Otherwise I need to drop Onida from my mind.

                  I took a 1.5Ton Split AC on 2nd May 2008. On 24th June we observed that some fire and smoke are coming from the pipe leading from outdoor unit to Split AC machine.

                  Immediately I complained the same to Service Center, Hyderabad. The complaint number is[protected].

                  A technician visited the machine and finalised that the piece is defective.

                  Till now no body has responded to the complaint with which we cannot use AC any more. The response is not at all good when we again remind the same service center, Hyderabad.

                  I dont have any other option except to take this issue to the concerned legal authorities.

                  My experience with Onida A/C is terrible. The Service agency in Chennai has not even given the receipt for the cheque payment made by me 5 months before and the AMC service coupons.Inspite of booking the service complaints more than 6-7 times, they never bothered to attend to the AC.The attitude of the Service personnel is very bad and if such is the attitude towards the customer, i am sure we will never go for any Onida Product. I hope some senior personnel takes stock of situation and do some thing quickly.

                    I am a customer from Vijayawada, AP. I have purchased one A/c of ONIDA on 16th June 2007. Its model is SG12FLT and serial no. A of 1 tonn capacity. Till 16th of may it worked well. From May 17th 2008 onwards we did not get cooling from the machine. Accordingly we have called to local ONIDA service centre and gave complaint . Our complaint no. is 380662. We were told that the technicians would come in one or two days as the technicians were busy because of summer .We waited till 23rd May ( six days from complaint) and called the service centre again. On that day evening one of the Senior technicians came and inspected the unit and said tommorow our persons would come and do the service. The next day i.e 24th May( 7 days from complaint) two junior technicians came and inspected the machine. They tried for 2 days saying that gas was not sufficient and filled gas in pipeline. But the problem was not rectified and they could not find the problem and said that outside unit has to be taken to service centre for repair. Accordingly they have taken and returned the unit on 27th May ( Ten days from complaint) stating that it was rectified and working at their workshop.

                    When they have installed the machine at our place and tried to test it, the compressor did not start at all and as usual cooling was not comming. They tried for the whole day on 28th May( eleven days from complaint) and finally came to a conclusion that compressor is not working and has to be replaced. As the machine is under warranty they said new compressor would be replaced . They have taken the outdoor unit for replacement on 28th May and said that within 3 or 4 days we will fit with new compressor. I didnot get any reply even after one week. When i called Mr. Ayub (owner of service workshop) on 8th of June( twenty second day from complaint), he said there is no stock for new compressor and would send the unit once the stock comes. I even contacted ONIDA service centre for the availability of compressors.They said in a day or two they would get new stock.

                    Then i was out of station till 15th June. Even after my return from the tour i found my A/c was not rectified. I didnot understand why ONIDA company couldnot supply a single compressor to its stockist for almost morethan 2 weeks. I again called to service centre for the status of compressor. They said it did not come. They prolonged it till 23rd of June( 37th day from complaint) and finally brought the unit with new compressor ( according to your service people) on that evening. They again gave a false promise as usual that they will come by tommorow morning (24th) and fit it. Then i called them on 25th June( 39th day from complaint) to come for service. 3 Junior technicians came in the evening and again as usual struggled to start the AC. But their efforts were wasted. The MCB switch was tripping off when the compressor starts. They couldn't find the problem. On 26th( 40th day from complaint) evening one senior technician from Onida company itself came for inspection and tested. He brought a separate electrical wire and connected it to compressor from supply to test . Even then the same MCB tripping problem repeated. After many attempts he said the motor is not running and again gave me a shocking news that the compressor is gone again. I could not understand how come a compressor get spoiled when it did not even start or run. He said the compressor has to be replaced again.

                    I literally thought that these guys are playing with me. He said tommorrow we will take the unit to our workshop. And again as per the ONIDA service centre policy of not keeping the word, no one turned to us till now. We do not understand why the hell the service centre consider our complaint. Isnt our problem a complaint to your company.

                    Each and every person in the ONIDA company ( in arranging new compressor) or service centre has tested our patience to the maximum limit. Every time we have to call you and ask to come for service. Do you feel us as jobless or beggars to run behind you everyday. Don’t you have the responsibility of attending our pending complaint and rectify the problem.


                    Drawbacks of your so called esteemed ONIDA company

                    1. The problem has not been found out and solved even after 42 days from the day of given
                    complaint by your senior & junior technicians.
                    2. No person from junior technician to the top level person in the company considers about our
                    complaint and problem. They think about my problem only when i call and remind them
                    many times.
                    3. Till now no person had come to us for service atleast once on anyday on their own.
                    Every time we kept calling them and asking them to send the technicians. Do the
                    company think us jobless or beggars. Don’t you have the responsibility to care and have
                    a consideration for the customer who reminds you so many times and the complaint
                    was pending for such a long period.
                    4. When ever the technicians come, they come after evening 5.00 pm . The lighting would
                    not be there proper to check the outdoor unit after that . I told them many times to come
                    in the mornings . The reply they gave me for that was they were busy with other complaints
                    in the morning. Then i too gave a complaint long before, isn’t my problem a complaint to the company. So i understood whenever the technicians were free after completing other complaints then they turned to me. Still they are practising the same procedure till the last attended day.
                    5. No senior or responsible person from ONIDA company or service centre other than
                    technicians has called or visited us till now regarding the complaint. They have not shown consideration on our complaint even once in all these days.
                    6. The major drawback with your company or service centre persons is no person could find out the problem till now even after 42 days from the date of giving complaint.

                    Facts we understood after all these days
                    a) Onida products are hopeless and even the unused new product can go wrong as per your technicians and claimed that the unit was tested at their service centre before installing.
                    b) The ONIDA company or ONIDA local staff or service centre staff care a damn about the complaints and customers. Doesn’t the company has the responsibility to check the pending complaints for long time and take action for that. From top to bottom the company is filled with reckless people who doesn’t care about customer complaint and customer problems.

                    I am writing this letter to who ever may be the responsible person in the company, just to intimate you that, i would go to the consumer court on 3rd of july ( 47th day from complaint) if at all my problem is not solved completely before that. I don’t have faith on the outdoor unit even if your technicians replace the compressor. As earlier your ONIDA Senior technician mentioned that the newly opened, unused and replaced compressor also has gone wrong and not working. I don t want to run behind your company people wasting my time, if again this kind of problem rises in near future after the compressor is replaced again. Hence i ask the company people to give me a new out door unit which is totally different from the old unit.
                    I expect a positive response in this regard from your company as early as possible. If you again prove your ONIDA policy of not responding or delaying or neglecting our request, we will take the necessary action from our side.

                    I fully agree with the complaints given by so many people for onida A/Cs, even i have bought onida a/c just 4days back from krish electronics in nerul and from the start facing problems, like low cooling/instalation problems.

                    Onida, mirc electronics factory is at wada, lets all visit their factory and through away their a/cs on their face, also take media people along with us, so that lakhs of people can see it and dont buy any onida products.

                    shame on such a company who is not willing to give service in times of recession.
                    we are using your ondia airconditioner its service was very poor and we are facing repeated problem in your product like water leaking and cooling is not sufficient so pls take care of this and give the complete resolution for this problem we will never expect this from your product so pls take care this problem and attend this immediately again this problem repeated we never suggest your product to others.

                    I have also purchase onida split A.C.form Shree Dhareshwar Electronics, Subhanpura, Vadodara on 02/4/09.But there is no reply from ondia service station, Vadodara & says that there is no required for service on A.C during winter. 7 MONTHS pASSED BUT NO ONE CAN TO MY HOME FOR SERVIC THE A.C. I do not know why doing this type of behavier.

                    I request you to do somethign otherwise i will advise all my group to donot purchase Onida A.C because servic station & Showroom Man will not properly handle the case.

                    People, please keep in mind the below points while buying products worth more than 10, 000:
                    --> Opt for a brand in which the particular product is famous (say Whirlpool for washing machine, godrej for fridge etc.)
                    --> Don't select a product whose price is the least when compared to the same product in different brands. Don't see for few thousands and suffer for the rest of your life.
                    --> All the ACs comes with same warrenty (5 years for compressors and 1 year for general parts replacement). It doesn't matter how many years they are giving, the matter is that how many times you service your AC within that time. Lesser the best.
                    --> People may say they are not aware of the product until they buy. It is right. But, the same people who knows to type their complaints here should also have known about searching and comparing products in the internet as this will avoid the stress you face after purchase.
                    --> Different brands are famous for different products and opt for products which is better in that particular brand.
                    --> AC sellers will not give us a correct picture of the products as they themselves may not be aware of it. So, better go to the company websites and websites which shows opinions etc. Need not be in a hurry. Take your own time, compare products and arrive at a solution.
                    --> In today's scenario, it is a consumer world and no consumer will get cheated as long as they know about the products. Every minute detail is available in the internet. search for it and choose the right one.
                    --> dont go by the words of sellers as for them business is important and not the customers.

                      The DVD player which is purchased 6 months back having the problem in Ejecting and closing the CD properly.
                      If we report and handover the player to the customer service center in pondicherry they are charging Rs.850.00.The New player rate is Rs.2700.

                      What reliability in buying the branded product from Onida, After the warranty period of 6 month the player got problem.

                        I am Binil.B, I have purchased a Split AC 1.5 ton ( Hitachi Compressor). on 04/05/2008 from SEKAR STORES, VADAPALANI - CHENNAI. within a week the remote was not working. I made a service complaint on the same day, but no response from the service station, after 2 week some one( Mr.Senthil kumar ) came and took the remote bac to the service station. He said it will be replaced immediately, But the remote was not replaced immediately they have taken in the begining of June. every two days i keep on calling Mr. Jaya Kumar ( [protected]) who was incharge for the service request, His reply was that the remote was out of stock. At last after my pressure, they have deliverred a remote on 26/06/2008. That was fine.

                        But the issue is here, They have delivered a old remote, also the same remote does not pertains to this split ac model. that is different. when we asked them to get a new remote, they are confirming us that this is the new one and this belongs to this model. this remote has lots of scratches etc.
                        I went and checked with the nearest showroom for the same onida model ac and the respective remote that was different,
                        The remote deliverred is an old used one and the same remote is not the spare for this ac. The first remote which was taked by the execuitive was the right model for this ac.

                        Kindly take the necessary action/ steps to resolve this issue.
                        I have paid 24000+ to get this split ac, but iam give an old remote.kindly replace a new remote for the ac i bought.

                        I trusted ONIDA, I also have ONIDA TV, DVD, etc, i was very much satisfied to be a onida customer, but this experience made me little bit bad impression. Also i used to recommend my friends and colleagues only about ONIDA.

                        I too have aq similar experiemce on the purchase in Jan 2008. NO one has doone anything till today.
                        I purchased a ONIDA 5 star 1.5 Split unit from Chellamani & Co in chennai - 21, They had cheated me by giving the Display unit Instead of a packed unit. The indoor unit was full of black smoke which comes from the buses and other vehicles they had just cleaned the outer area and put in the box and delivered to me, when the installation person came to install we fount it was full of dust.

                        when i went to the shop to complaint about this i found the same model which was there on the display on the previous day was missing. they told that they send me only the fresh packed piece. finally they accepted to replace the indoor unit with the new one. but next day they given one more indoor unit this has been picked from there different branch in Chennai, this is also same us the previous one. they are cheating the customers . so i request when you buy anything from this shop please make sure that you getting a new packed piece with all the accessories as mentioned in the catalog.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I inform that I have purchased one ONIDA Split AC – Model No.SZ18GRL – 2 on 28.02.2008 from your local dealer Raju Electricals, No.155, Lake View Road, West Mambalam, Chennai 600 033 (Ph. No.[protected] and your Technician came and installed the Unit in my house and running satisfactorily.

                          The Unit was working fine with good chillness even at Temperature 25 initially after installation of the Unit. After three months, the first service was done upon calling and immediately after that we the family members felt, the chillness was not upto the level as was before first service at Temp 25. Even at Temp 22, the chillness was not upto the level of Temp 25 which was before the first service.

                          I reported to the local dealer and they sent one Engineer after 10 days and he on examination said the unit is working fine and the chillness is OK. But even now we feel that the chillness at Temp 18 is not very effective as was before and request your good office to direct your local Customer Care people to inspect/make it working with good chillness at Temp 22 to our satisfaction.

                          I believe that you will direct your Chennai people to give me the best possible service to my satisfaction.

                            we had purchased the onida 21ky audioport tv at o6/12/2006 from margoa radiomundal Goa.On 16/06/2008 we noticed some sound.next day we called customer service, he told me that picture tube is gone and you need to replace. without any thundering, no high voltage .with the stablizer how could the picture tube fail? please take some immediate action on the above complaint..

                              I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED THE 1.5 TON ONIDA WINDOW A/C WG18N. tHE COMPRESSOR AUTOMATICALLY SHUTS DOWN AFTER SOME TIME AND TAKES A LONG TIME TO RESTART RESULTING IN FULL COOLING LOSS. ALSO THE COOLING IS NOT UPTO THE MARK. IT FAILS TO COOL @ 30c FORGET ABOUT 48c AS CLAIMED BY THE COMPANY. EVEN A COOLER IS BETTER THAN THIS A/C. THE COMPANY ENGINEER CLAIMED THAT TO OPTIMISE PERFORMANCE ON ESHOULD RUN A/C AT THE SET TEMP 20-25c
                              AND BELOW THAT THE COMPRESSOR OVERHEATS AND SHUTS DOWN. I EVEN TRIED THAT RUNNING AT 22c BUT TO OF NO USE.

                                I have purchased one Split Grill Air Conditioner of Onida make, 1.5 ton on April 25, 2008 from Vasanth & Co., Tambaram, vide. Invoice No. [protected] Dated 25th April 2008

                                It was assured to me that the said Split AC provides the best service and is of the best quality available in the market. Being induced by such assurance and/or being allured thereby, I purchased the said split AC.

                                One of the representatives (Mr. Hendry & Jaiprakash) of Vasanth & Co., visited my place for installation of the said machine. On 12th of May 2008 (as we were not in home for five days) we have lodged a complaint vide complaint No.81038 and after inspection, they found that the gas was not there in the equipment.

                                And after rectification, it was shocked again the same problem for incurred on 2nd of June 2008 and we had complained vide complaint No. 76380136. Inspite of several phone calls and several follow ups with your Tambaram and Nungambakkam Service Centres, representatives Mr. Senthil, deputed by Mr. Eelamperuthi, they informed me that there exist some manufacturing defect in the said Split AC and I should get it replace from the point of purchase. I informed the entire facts to Vasanth & Co.us . who informed that their duty is only for sales and NOT FOR SERVICE and hence the company has refused to entertain such grievance.
                                The act of supply of defective Split Ac in collusion with the retailers by ONIDA and subsequent dramatic recipient to replace the same with new one is contrary to all rules and the same is also violative of principles of legitimate expectation. The customer purchase the product with the expectation that the product will be of genuine quality and such illegal act from a company of your repute and esteem is arbitrary, unreasonable, contrary to law, bad and unconstitutional.

                                In the premises, you are called upon to look into the matter and replace the said Split Ac immediately, with letter of regrets.
