i purchased a AC from onida company WT18 window ac on 31 march 2008 but on the next day its control panel was not working and it consumes 10 to 11 amp current but company claims it to be 8.5 to 9.after so many requestsAC was replaced and i got WG 18 but it is still consuming 10 to 11 amp current i want to ask why company claims false commitments and also their service and response to e-mails is very poor i am frustrated by buying this product.

    We had bought 1.5 ton air conditioner of model ONIDA SZ18GLS on 1st may 2008, but still now we are battling against a/c. We have called upon onida company and mr.chandrasekaran send us a mechanic named Rajesh who was a poor a/c mechanic and he changed thrice the a/c sensor but we are not getting proper cooling from this a/c still now. This shows that ONIDA is one of the worst brand across the country.

    I would like to focus u all in my complaint. We recently bought an onida A/C from their dealer in delhi. The A/c was dead at the time of installation. I made a complaint regarding that. The engr. come down and see the problem, the fan was not mving in the a/c. He then opened the a/c and checked it. The diagnose tell that the body was striking with fan and bend the orduct body with hammer, afterwards it starts working, but still gives noise. Is this is quality management of Onida. I already mailed to regsitartion team of onida, but no response.
    Am Rajesh -- [protected] form Chennai . I have brought ONIDA AIR CONDITIONER model no : SZ09FLT / SZ12FLT / SZ18FLT on[protected] . In a spam of 11 months i got a problem in this product, Water started leaking from the bottom of the indoor unit, then i have given a complaint to Onida service station ( ADONUS ELECTRICALS - Valasaravakkam branch ) through phone for the service in WARRANTY PERIOD. To connect the line to the concern person, it takes 5.45 min . After transfering the line, Telecaller made a registry and gave me a code / reference number[protected] . While having a conversation with them i mentioned, there are 3 elders in which 2 are above 60 of age . Also our fan is not working properly, in this situation even though fan is running the climatic heat is not tollerable . So i made a humble request that AC is most essential . So kindly send the service person as soon as possible . They said according to the rules they have booked our complaint and it will take 2 days of time .I have given the complint on friday . As sunday is a holiday they said only monday they can come and attend. I called them more than 5 times on Monday mentioning, Elders are suffering a lot & since 4 days we havent slept peacefully. On my 5th call at 2.30pm they said Mr.Senthil Kumar has been alloted for service and at 5.00pm i enquired my house members weather anyone has arrived for the service ?, they said till now no one has come.Then i called the customer care again and remainded at 5.30pm. Still now no one has arrived for the service & no action has been taken. I thought branded items are more worth & responsible . Giving money outside to a local mechanic is not too tough, he charges only 450/-, but i hope servicing by a ONIDA mechanic would be a perfect attempt that too in a Warranty Period. BUT now i feel for it. eventhough my house members insisted me not to go for ONIDA AIR CONDITIONAR, I went in search for it due to the BRAND & expected it might last long.

    Am really fed up of calling Service centre again & again. My humble request to Onida Authority to step in and take the quick, sharp & necessary action to rectify. This is not an order, Whomsoever reads it, " YOU EXPERIENCE OUR PAIN, 4 NIGHTS STRUGGLING WITH MOSQUITOS & HEAT . HOW COULD ELDERS SUSTAIN "

    I hope ONIDA will try it's best to maintain the customer faith & esteem. Otherwise I need to drop Onida from my mind & tell to all ma friends not to make any attempt in ONIDA products.

    dear sir .,

    We bought this onida A/C before 10 days. it is really frustrating that since we bought the A/C it is not giving a good cooling . we complained reg this to the concerned person with whom we bought this a/c. Mr. Jagadesan J.J Enterprices.kamarajapuram east tambaram chennai. the servicee person came afer 4 days of our so many complaine. they did some temporory solution and they went . again this time the a/c stopped working only the fan was working. and we called them again and they found tat the gas was leaking . they came after 2 days only and filled the gas and went off. after 1/2 hr. again the a/c stopped working. we called them again they had some stupid reasons to tell and after that the gas was filled thrice coming every day to our house after lots of request. now we are really fed up with this also we are requesting the dealer to change the unit since it is just 10 days old. and the guys are giving a lame excuse and unwanted reasons for that.

    Note: all this has happened and the owner still suppose to come.he is not coming into the screen at all. he is not picking up the call. and sending those guys who are not at all experienced. and have fun in the houses where ever they go.

    I once again request the company to give me a solution immediately and change the complete pc. i have never seen such an irresponsible person and stingy and stinky company which only concentrates on the sale but does not have any proper service.

    i am ashamed of telling this because iam from a onida family & we believe in the onida product. but this was a worst experience for us and we may need to drop onida from our best choice for both us and our friends.

    PLS PLS PLS ... UNDERSTAND OUR PAIN AND I APPRECIATE IF THE COMPANY TAKES A NECESSARY STEPS FOR CLEARING THE ISSUE. IT IS STRANGE AND ALSO DISGUSTING WE SPEND SO MUCH FOR OUR HAPPINESS AND WE LOSE THAT HAPPINESS BECAUSE OF THE SAME.

    I have bought the 1.5 Ton window AC in last week for my home but at yesterday night a great noice is come and the machine will shut down,
    yes I agree to this Ondia has no back up for service.pl do not buy there products.
    Dear All, I am extremely disappointed with the response from your team. Just to give a brief about our case, we bought ONIDA AC from the authorized show room. Recently we had water leakage in the AC and water start flowing from inside. Immediately we have registered the complaint thru phone to your customer service. Details as below.

    We have called so many times to your service number 66783000 and response was very bad every time they say that the technician will attend but till today no body has turned to our residence for checking our compliant. As a customer I was shocked to see this. By seeing thisk kind of service attitude I have decided not to but any kind of Onida product itself. I have never experienced such kind of poor customer response from any company till now. I am going to write to Onida MD and CEO on this kind of service. This is really pathetic. This is my last try and if I do not get response I will surely escalate to very high authority and file an customer complaint in consumer court.
    Expecting the immediate revert on this compliant.

    Will wait and see how ONIDIA treats his customer...

    Dear Sir,
    I, M. Mishra, [protected] bought an ONIDA split A/C at Ranchi, Jharkhand, in June 2009. The M/C went out of order on July 18th. this year. We called for ONIDA service centre who informed after inspection that some kit has got damaged and shall be replaced the next day. On enquiring on the next day, the responce was thatthe kit has been ordered to their Mumbai centre, and asked us to wait us for a week. Again, after one week, we were asked to wait for another two day and the reply continues till date.
    The same episode has been experienced in past when my ONIDA make microwave oven got damaged.
    This is not the way a company claiming to make their customers neighbours envy and them prideful. Could ONIDA management help????

    I purchased a microwave oven. I didn't use it . Last month when i tried to use it was not working . So i booked a complaint last month before.
    It is not still resolved . I don't find any proper customer support .
    I am really frustrated since for the past 1.5 month no action is taken.
    For God sake I advise No one should go for Onida Air Conditioners. They neither have any company service centre in the districts HQ or in some renowned place of a district or they do not have any tie-up with some good service company. I had called up there office in the toll free no. but I never got any body on the line. Their main aim is to only sell and there is no after sales service. The 3 or 4 A S Service commitment they give is only on paper while selling the AC. In reality even after 6 months and also even after calling the dealer umpteenth time they did not send the so called technicians. Worst care by the company for their customers.

      Hello,

      I had purchased a 29 inch Onida Oxygen Thunder television 5 months back, and the power transmitter has failed 4 times. A beep sound is heard inside the tv, and sometimes the tv gets switched off automatically and then switches on. This has been conveyed to the service centre authosities, but the solution is only temproray.

        I have purchased the A/c trough soundarya shoppee at Visakhapatanm on 22 Apr 08. it is not starting. I realy dont' understant why a brand new a/c is defective so early. Thios is poor show by a big company of onida.


        I have lodged a complain on 26 Sep 08 and 29 Sep 08. However, the service centre has promised to attend the defects on 29 Sep 1730 hrs but no body came to attend it. it is very poor response from the service centre.

          Dear Sir,

          I had purchased one new ONIDA21ULRASLIM TV from Digital Shoppy on 9 FEB, after three months i got a problem with Display. so I registered a 1st complaint, then rectified that problem temporally, after two weeks the same problem raised aging, so I registered a 2nd complaint, then after 1 month they came home and taken my TV for changing the TUBE.
          Now TUBE is changed, but Problem is getting again and again…. So I said to ONIDA service center people to Replace new TV then they said ok. So I accepted to take the TV back then service center people taken back to the service center. Now they are Cheating me with give my Old TV as saying NEW TV (and even Problem is not fixed). Now if I ask about Problem, Now they are saying it is This Model Problem you can find out in New TV also.

            Absolutely pathetic service provided by Onida folks. I bought a Microwave oven around a year back. 3 months back the light bulb inside the oven got fused. I opened a complaint with the company service / call center for repair. After 5 days the technician came and asked me to take an AMC as the product was not under warranty. I like a stupid customer did exactly what he told me. He replaced the bulb and went.

            After a month of this service the light was not working again. Again I called up the service center and told them about the AMC as well. It's been more than 2 months and till now no one has turned for repair. Every time I call up the call center all that I am told is that it will be fixed today. But this today has never come. Also the call center staff is very rude as well, they shout at you if you crib too much.

            Onida Microwave Oven, 25L. Front door got stuck and not able to open. Your service personnal, Mr. Anand, Adhoni Services, Tambaram Sanatorium attended, by breaking the front door he opened. and gone. There was no response. He never takes the call on the Mobile which he has given. Suddenly when one day I tried from new landline, he has attended the call by mistake and referred his supervisor, one Mr.Prakash, Adhoni Services, Tambaram Sanatorium. I had lodged complaint no. 80300 in the first week of june'09. Now almost end of July. Repeatedly making calls. coming today, tomorrow is the response. Till now noone has turned up. I have bought in March'09, and still under warranty period. Asked me to enter into AMC. Within 3 months this is the situation. Is there any senior people to advice solution. With these type of service providers how to buy any product. I do not understand the setup of your Sales & Service operation. Iam feeling very sorry. Hope some of you reading this, will not buy Onida product at all. After sales service is really pathetic and very poor. By this time, I think Onida would have been used to these type of complaints. Hope they will be cool and do not mind also. As the people who spent lot of money is only struggling. Is there anyone to answer from Onida...

              I purchased a Onida TV almost 2 years back. It had ceased to work 2-3 times. All these occassions, I approached the Service Center in my town (Kottayam, Kerala, India - 686001) and they came and reapired. Each occassion, the maintenance charges were high. Even though the service technician asked me take AMC, I did not. But last occassion, more than a month ago, it again stopped working. When the technican came, he again asked me to takeup AMC and I agrred and paid the money. According to them AMC is for all repairs for 2 years. Now again it stopped working and I reported the problem at the service center more than 2 weeks ago. The complaint No. is 08090167. Even today it has not been repaired. Always they say an IC is not available. After taking the AMC their replies and responses are very bad. I am totally disatisfied with the Onida TV and their AMC and Support.

                dear sir / madam

                I have a complaint against window AC which i bought on 18/4/2008 from an authorised dealer from balaji electronics, sihi gate, bazar ballabhgarh faridabad, haryana.121004 phone number[protected]. The specification of window AC are 1.5 ton model WG-18. S.No. [protected]
                just after 4 month of purchase the gas leaked as per the service center people which was fixed after4 days of complaint but could not gaurranty us about releak which can occur anytime as per them the problem which was fixed would have cost us RS.2000.After 10 days it again stopped functioning after complaint they came and told PCB is not functioning costing aroun 2500.this is still in process not yet corrected.
                The service center at present refusing to replace the AC Through your medium we want to know from ONIDA company on what ground they replace their AC, what we should do about such an AC which is not functioning properly just after 4 months of purchase. Service center is waiting for 1 year to pass so that they will not be held responsible after that they will start charging as the warranty period voids. Please help me by considering my complaint as early as possible.

                I have purchased onida G430 model mobile phone last 3 months back.In that incoming call

                alert is not functioning for the past one month.i want your nearest service centre.

                One Onida colour set-Model 29 Oxygen 300 was purchased in October, 2007 from M/s Ghosh Brothers Pvt. Ltd; Guwahati. Problem in the set started in July, 2008. Complaints were registered vide Complaint Nos.F/8/117, F/8/453 & F/8/508 to the Onida Service Centre, Guwahati at telephone Nos.[protected], mobile Nos. [protected] & [protected]. through M/s Ghosh Brothers Pvt. Ltd.After a lot of persuation, one technician came to attend the set, but could not solve the proble.He had taken out the defective component with the assurance that the defective component will be replaced by a new one. But nobody has subsequently turned up to rectify the defect inspite of numerous contacts were made personally and over telephones. As a result, the set remained non-functional till to-day.
                PLEASE TELL ME ONIDA COLOUR TV 21 ULTRA SLIM ACC 300 OFFER RATE. THANK YOU.

                  Sir,
                  My Onida TV is not working for the past two months. (No sound). My complaint has been registered in the M/S Smile"N" Care, Onida Customer Relation Center, 29/717 B, Parayanchery, Mavoor Road, Calicut, Kerala on the 3rd week of July.
                  I have an extended AMC (I paid Rs 1530/-) from 08-12-06 to[protected]. (Cash Memo No: 228 dated[protected]
                  One technician (Shri. Harilal-his Mob No: [protected]) had attended the complaint within one week and said that some chips required replacement and I had to wait 2-3 weeks as it was out of stock.
                  Now two months gone. I have reminded them a number of times. Every time they repeated the same reply.
                  Now the Technician is telling that the TV Board may be changed and they would give a new TV board at 50% discount price. So I have to pay approximately Rs[protected] extra for the board .This is not acceptable to me.

                  Now I am really disappointed with these people. Why a reputed TV Company like Onida is behaving like this?
                  Today also[protected], I spoke to the M/S Smile"N" Care Onida Customer Relation Center, Calicut (Ph. No:[protected]. I told them that I was left with no other option but to complain before the Consumer Protection Forum, Wayanad.
                  I request www. consumercomplaints.in to kindly take necessary action to bring this matter to the Onida company and help me to get my TV repaired at the earliest.

                    i have been giving amc to M/s Adonis Electronics Ghaziabad branch for annual maintance of my 3 window and one split ac. this year in april my window aac had some problem with fan motor after about a month the motor was fitted back and while assembly due to mistake of service engr some electronic card got damaged and since then i have been calling them and they are assuring that the ac will be repaired next week and now about 6 months have passed. the attitude of the service incharge in ghaziabad is very rude the name is Mr. Satnam singh. i hope onida takes the matter seriously and i hope a consumer company lokks forward to satisfy customers rather than loose them

                      Our micro wave oven developed a few problems probably due to certain voltage fluctuations.I registered the complaint at B'lore (No.[protected]. Even after 2 days there was no response. This forced me to speak to the so called head of the service unit one Mr.Prasanna (Mobile No. [protected]).He promised to look into the matter the same day within a few hours. Now even after 72 hours there is still no response from them. I have already started telling people not to go in for any Onida products. I will continue this on a war footing if there is no response within the next 24 hours.

                      I am a custember o[censored]sing microwave oven of your company.I faced lots of problem because always my microwave oven dead.I have been complaint against my problem.But there is no any response from your company service centre.You may check my complaint.                       This is with reference to my complaint made for Onida Convection 20 Microowen & your service with respect to same has been very disappointing. Your staff has a very unprofessional & careless attitude towards customer complaints. There has not been any response to my complaints for past 3 months inspite of giving so many reminder calls. I have been contacting your office at Anand Bhuvan, Veer Savarkar Marg, Thane. Infact, Mr. Nilesh had visited my house on 25/6/08 & collected service charge of Rs. 375 without any receipt of same. Only after my visit to the service station it was realized that he had not given any receipt. After that there was another technician sent only to understand the problem after 3 months. Please take serious look at recruiting & training your manpower who does not have releveant skill & talent to understand customer's problem. Nevertheless, this technician also assured us of returning with PCB however again to my disappointment there was no response.
                      Let me make this very clear that if this problem remains to stand unsolved then surely I will have to take help of consumer redressal forum & you will have to face the consequences.
                      I have got a prolem in the display on my Micro wave oven convection PC-21 Black beauty. We had lot of respect on ONIDA but now it outpasts completely. I hav launched a complaint[protected] thrice, But no one hav yet come to our interest. If you really dont bother customers then why the hell do you give warranties. Is tat for the name sake??????

                      Please do not buy any product from this shop.
                      Its a humble request for all.
                      Our micro wave oven developed a few problems .I registered the complaint at Pune. Even after 20days there was no response. So speak to the so called head of the service unit Mr.Palande(Mobile No. [protected]).But there is still no response from him. 27 days have been passed after complained has launched but no response from them. I also have already started telling people not to go in for any Onida products.

                      I purchased a microwave after long search a conventional - higher end model last year July end 24th 2007, The warranty coverage was till july 2008. Suddenly it was not functioning during the first week of august 2008. I called the service people, a service guy came with a fuse if that might be the problem then he said it was not the fuse and it is transformer problem, so he said i need to pay for the transformer, i refused first since the warranty period was correctly ended. But later his manager said he would cover under Amc, i acepted that atleast he would repair it. After that i am following the manager, after a week the guy came with transformer which was again not working, he siad he will call a senior guy to check for the problem, Almost every week i follow the manager and it is almost 5 to 6 weeks there is no response, The manager promised that he would surely change the panel after it comes from china within a week, I am still following for that, i really feel to throw the microwave in the bazaar and to say about their bad service.
                      Please help me in this aspect how to proceed...
                      I had a problem with Onida Power Barbeque 28 on 28th September 2008. The microwave was not working or starting after some power fluctuations. I filed a complaint on 29th sep at 41343000, complaint number[protected]. No one turned up. After 2 days I called again. A technician by the name of shobith came and diagnosed PCB problem stating he would replace in two days. After following up for 1 month every 2-3 days ( with Mr. Shridhar and finally calling Mr. Prasanna) another technician arrived with no history of our problem on 24th Oct and diagnosed a transformer problem. He promised to come back on 27th Oct but did not show up. I called him on 29th and he said there is no stock. I asked the requisition number but he disconnected. They keep mentioning there is no stock of parts but they do not follow up on ordering new stock. I found out that after 1 month, they had not ordered any PCBs. The service is the worst I have observed of any company.
                      Onida Service is not good. I purchased Black Beauty 28 litres just 2 months back. While baking, the Glass Tray got broken. When we complained to Service Centre, they said it will be replaced in 2 days and we need to make a payment. Now 6 days have passed, still no replacement. When contacted, they said there is no stock. Wondering how Onida is giving service when they don't keep stock. Now I am repenting that I took the wrong decision to buy Onida.

                      This is just to make a complain about your product. We have purchased a micrwave oven of Onida in a Central Mall in Pune just one and half year back. You advertise it as a owners pride but I found it not up to the mark. We in our household not using it much, but still in the last year or so the fuse went off thrice and the concerned so called technician charges it very high just to put a fuse. We think it has happened only because we purchased it in a Mall. If we bought this product in a nearby store this could not have happened.

Today i got a call stating that the PCB was replaced and they asked to pay RS 1500 + 300 SEVICE Charge . I was ready to give it but when asked for the bill of the spare part they were reluctant to give .                       For your information, we have given our product last month (i.e. almost 30 days over) for service. In this regard, we have made so many calls to your office, but in vain. Please note on your job service document, whereas under “Terms and Conditions” point No.10 is reproduced below:
                      “The customer shall take delivery of the product within Fourteen days of ready after repair or unrepair intimation over phone or in writing by the Service centre. In the event customer does not take the delivery within forty five days, service centre reserves the right to auction the product to recover the repair and auction charges from the customer”

                      We have given our product for service 30 days back but no action has been taken by your end. Irrespective of number of calls, no reply has been received so far. Based upon your Point No.10, if the service centre not given any response to customer, the customer shall have the right to proceed legal action against the service centre.

                      Hope you will understand the situation and do the needful and you will not initiate us to precede legal action against you in this regard.

                      We purchased ONIDA MICROWAVE OVEN DLX- 25 in sept 2008, from magic electronics, mulund (w), mumbai. After a year the start knob was not working. We contacted customer care on 5 Dec, a repair guy came on 16 dec and took the PCB. After that there was no response fro service centre. I contacted 8 times after but no one has come so far. I advise people not to buy any products of ONIDA as there after sales services is nil.

                      First I am searching lg micro Owen but when I am entered sadan trading he told ondia is good and service very good that’s the reason I purchased.

                          Hi,

                          This in regards to the Onida semi-automatic washing machine I had purchased over 2 years back, currently we had a problem with drier. We contacted the service showroom(Ph#[protected] in the first week of July and raised compliant #[protected]/[protected], within one week’s time an technician had come over checked and mentioned that the motor needs to be replaced it would take a week’s time.
                          We have been following up with service showroom and the technician from July 15th. As none of they gave a satisfactory answer, we wanted to escalate the matter to the next level. We were given the contact details of managers: Ms Soumya (Cell # [protected]) and Mr. Sharath ([protected]). Mr. Sharath being a manager was rude and incautious, he stated that we will look into the matter and revert back in a month’s time. As we cannot get the original spare part elsewhere we had to get back to the service showroom and ask them if they could expedite the process.
                          As on August 8th they sent another executive stating that the person who checked the washing machine earlier quit so they don’t have the status and this time he stated that it would be replaced by 12th. When we contacted the showroom, we have received umpteen reasons like compliant # was closed, the motor has to be ordered from factory, technician is on leave.
                          It’s been two months; still the issue is not yet fixed. I am writing so that they look into this matter and fix the issue. We are facing a lot of problem because we cannot use the drier during the rainy season.
                          Hope such reputed companies maintain standards by providing after sales service efficiently and in timely manner. I can be reached at telephone[protected].

                            I bought a DVD player some 20 days back from Kirti Electronics in Thane(W) and the set went dead within 2 weeks of purchase. I booked a call, where I was promised that someone should come to my home to repair the set. No one turned up. After that I took the set to ONIDA service station in Thane (West). It has been around 7 days now. The service center manager tells me that there is NO ESTIMATE on the time it will take to repair. He was very rude in behaviour and basically indicated that I have to wait endlessly to know when the player can be repaired.

                            Suggest all to stay away from ONIDA products!!

                                history: i bought onida tv POISON THEATRE 2 years back.i went under insurance scheme on jan 2008.on august 9 2008 we heard a sound from the back of the tv and called the service engineer he told ther is a problem with LOT and it will be replaced from the onida service centre in rajahmundry, east godavari district, ANDHRAPRADESH.iam fed up with doing regular calls to them several times.today it is 23 august but of no use.pls do the needful help

                                I had a similar issue on 7th of April 2010.

                                1) The tv is Pooson 2000 29inch TV which is only 1 year old.
                                2) 1st, the complaint number given was wrong, so nobody called me within 24 hrs.
                                3) 2nd time I called, they told the complaint number is wrong and so they gave me another complaint number. stating the procedure will start from the begining.
                                4) Somebody called me after the 24 hrs timeline promised.
                                5) I told I am at work and to call me back after 5. The technician wanted to come immediately. I told it is not possible due to meeting scheduled.
                                6) Again no call or response from the technician or from the service center.
                                7) Again complained, no response.
                                8) Complained again on 19th April (2 weeks still TV not rectified). Technician called to tell he is coming at 9AM. I called up office to tell I am on leave. No sign of Technician. Finally at 4PM he comes home. I switch on the TV, then the technician asks "Where is your Washing Machine"? Oh My God!!!
                                The service center people sent a Washing machine expert to repair a 29 inch TV?????

                                Just one question. Is the series of mistakes by Onida not the responsibility of the Management?

                                In our company, any error done, even by the lowest grade staff will be reported to the top management and each line supervisor will be held responsible for it.

                                Just wonder if the Onida top heads are even aware of these mistakes. I have been using a Keltron TV since 82 Asiad. Not a single problem was there with the TV till we gave it off to our driver for free (even then, there wa no problem).

                                We have been using an Aiwa for the last 12 years. even now it has no problem, even of the minor problem. Pat came the reply, it is due to electric fluctuations. If we had no issues with Keltron and Aiwa (which we paid Only Rs 10, 000), how come the components used in a Superior TV spending around Rs 18, 000, Almost the double) fails even at a slighest fluctuation. More over, while selling the tv, I was told that this tv has internal built-in transmitter, etc.

                                I will be putting my experience with all my frnds, neighbours, colleagues, in Facebook, orkut, and all the media possible available. Thanks for all the services.

                                      I had lodged complaint reagrding repair of my color tv make ONIDA KY THUNDER on 7 may 2008 complaint no [protected], but till date thay have not delivered my tv.On contacting the service personnel Mr Iqbal keeps on saying that he would do it at the earliest but later regrets for not repairing the tv due to unavailavility of spares, road permit, etc, etc.Its nearly 3 1/2 months but I see no chances of getting my Tv repaired .Pls help, I donot want to miss the olympics.
                                      Should I give him the service charges for such long delay, should I go to consumer court

                                      I had lodged a comlnt in onida customer relation centre Nasik on 08.11.2008 regarding my onida dvd Player model noDFX 5959, sL. No 3002642 VIDE JON SL NO 250. I got it back on 28.11.2008 and had to give it back again to them with increased problem. Now they desabled the USB pORT sdking me to take backthe dvd as it is . I need a replacement of the defective piece since the same is within warranty. I am filing a case in Consumer Court
                                      here by reading to all the complain available here, i have a feeling that the service here in jharkhand for onida is really bad as compared to the other states. As i am new to this place, i would like to know the address of the service station available here in ranchi, jharkhand.

                                        Totally agree, this is really pathetic, the manual is third grade and does not have enough infomration from Onida, its appalling to see that we cannot fix the sound lock system.

                                        But from last nine months 3 times we called for same problem all time your engineer solved the issue temporally.
                                        From last nine months experience is very bad & pathetic. After complained to service center no one attend before 8-10 days & its very painful exercise. Our TV is under Warranty. Trough this latter I want to warn you please take immediate action on above issue.
                                        Now we want fresh new TV set on replacement of my TV set & we closed this problem forever.
                                        or else you are forcing us to go Consumer Court.
