Dear sir,
This is Prathaf singh N.Two months back i bye a 1 ton onida split ac model: sz09flt / sz12flt / sz18flt in POONU ELECTRONICS, CHENNAI. RS of 19000.they ask extra 1500 For installation we give the amount next day evening they send two boys for the installation from the BHAGWAN AIR CONDITIONS (P) LTD CHENNAI MOB [protected]. MR VELU is owner of this company.They not installation well, two month back, one day they came and accept that its not in position its one side down give one day time we make it but still come.the still we having water leakage from the indoor unit, and some nasty sound from deflector and now the deflector is not working if i give complaind means MR VELU said this is summer so we are busy wait two 5days. Still we not using Ac its in off condition .its extreme end you people should take action for this with ih a day other wise i will write in HINDU, then i will go to consumer cort, and send a mail to u-tube and orkut about onida its true, worst service in this world is onida service.

COMPLENTS:
INDOOR UNIT NOT IN CORRECT POSITION
WE HAVING WATER LEAKAGE FROM THE INDOOR UNIT
SOME NASTY SOUND FROM DEFLECTOR
DEFLECTOR IS NOT WORKING

Onida Split AC — A/C DOES WORK PROPERLY

ONIDA SPLIT AC I BOUGHT LAST YEAR APRIL AT KALAYARKIOL IN AR AGENCIES AFTER ONE MONTH FAST COOLING IS NOT WORK. I COPMPLAINED BUT NOT SERVICE PROPERLY I FREQUENTYLY SAID THAT AGENCIES.NOW AC TAKE LONG TIME TO ON AND ALSO THE COMPRESSOR OFF WITHIN ONE MINITE WARANTY PERIOD IS FINISHED
THIS MONTH PLSE TAKE CARE MY COPMPLAINT I NVER RECOMENT ONIDA AC LIKE THIS COMPLAINT CONTINIOUS.

    I bought a onida Blackbeauty PC 21 microwave oven on Febrauary 5th 2009 from Gemini Electronics Kakinada. After 1 month o[censored]se on 6th of March 2009 the door got burnt for more than an inch.the complaint was lodged on 11th of march at the Rajahmundry service centre with a complaint number 3750. wihtin a week the technician came and said it was a manufacturing defect and the door will be replaced with in 20 days. but no action has been taken till today though we are contacting them for evey 3 days and a complaint was also registered through e-mail on onida website. If it was known that tge service of onida is so poor i would not had gone to buy it. N.Sushma

    I had bought a Onida Black Beauty PC 21 last year. It has been working in absolutely fine condition, unfortunately the glass turn table broke about 2 months ago. I had registered a complain and they said I had to buy a new one for which I was agreeable to. Since then to now I have made inumerable calls to the centre for the same. Till date I have not recieved the glass turn table. This is the poorest service I have ever seen.I would advice one and all to refrain from buying Onida products for their bad service follow up

      I purched onida tv before 10 monts in Talegaon Dhabhade. after few days some colour patches displyed on screen. i gave complaint to onida dealers. techicians of company said that it is the normal problem this happens 3 -4 times. now yesterday suddenly at he time 11 pm tv switchhed off. now what shoud i do ? please take strict action against company and solve my problem. thank u very much.

      Hi,

      I have exactly same problem its really embarassing in front of guests and friends. Please have them fix the problem with some punitive damages so that Onida would not want to sell substandard product to anyone again.

      the day i purchased the T.V ...four months back...we noticed that T.V supplied to us was used...it was replaced...but the replaced T.V stopped working with the bang on the screen..which on complaint was repaired...at that time we requested for its replacement but they assured us that every thing is fine but now again T.V shuts down on its own and colour patches appear on screen ..which is great embarrassment among our relatives and friends ...Now after complaint service center people are dogging us for last three days ...we have 29 oxygen...a really very bad experience and we are fed up of regular problems occurring in our T.V... ...       Exactly same problem.Started with some colour patches and stopped working suddenly, completely BLANKED.
      Dear Sir,

      I had similar problem. All of a sudden TV picture started to shrink & then completely disappeared. Service technician arrived the next day & suggested some minor part to be replaced. This part was not available & after nearly 1 month & after repeated complaints he eventually arrived & replaced the part. After which TV worked for exactly 2 minutes & then problem reappeared. After several days he eventually came to the conclusion that picture tube is faulty & needs to replaced. My onida 29 oxygen TV is 4 years old.
      I guess there is no substance in Onidas products. However their advt are very good & i guess all o[censored]s who fell for such ads are suckers.
      If there are large number of such complaints I wonder if consumer courts can help us.

      ONIDA TV 29'' OXYGEN — TV GOT SHUT SUDDENLY

      Complaint no 0016 given by adonis on 1 Sep 2009, as i have clearly mentioned in the call i am available before 4.00 pm at my residence to the lady at call centre but still the engineer gave me call at 7.00 pm on 4th sep 2009 and i had asked me to come on 7 sep 2009 and took holiday from the company only for the tv but the engineer never turned up than i again given call to odonis and told about the complaint again and then she had given me another number of service station who takes care of all the complaint i.e [protected] . I made i call to the service station and they had given me another complaint number ie.0164 again the engineer Mr.Sorabh but he also came during the evening time and i had asked to come on next day but he didnt turned up and i gave him a call he said the he is on leave. so again made a call to [protected] on 09 sep 2009 Mr. shaik picked up the phone and spoke him about the complaint and he assured me that he will send the engineer but next day nobody came than again made a call to Mr. shaik he said that all the engineers are on training for 2 days. Now I am fed up with the onida customer care.

      wash problem in hydromatic 60 fp onida washing machine

      PPROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I SET THE WASHING MACHINE TO WASH, IT DOES NOT WASH.ONLY WASH LIGHT IS ON.IT WILL NOT WASH AND THEN IT WILL STOP. ONLY RINSE AND SPIN FUNCTION WORKS PROPERLY, . provide as much information as possible......

      Onida LED TV Display Getting Black dots and when change the Channel shows the white spots

          Dear Sir,
          This is for your kind information that I purchased Onida Microwave Oven PC21 CGS from your authorized dealer National Electronics on 07/09/2008, the Retail Invoice No. being NE1/6866.

          Recently on 22/04/2009 in the evening suddenly a sound came from the kitchen and we saw that the front door outside black glass of the oven was cracked automatically. The microwave was not in use at the time of event and nobody were there in the kitchen.

          We logged a complain on 23/04/2009 in your authorized dealer’s office and the service technician arrived on 24/04/2009 evening. After seeing he is now saying that the repairing will be on chargeable basis because the crack formed due to mishandling. But the true fact is that it got cracked automatically and we do not have any evidence to prove the fact.

          Now it is up to you to believe and hoping that you will take appropriate action for repairing the same. If repairing charge is to be paid within warranty period, I am ready for that also.

          House and Home — Broken microwave

          I have purchased a microwave at House and Home on the 16th of Januarie 2010. In April 2010 I took it back because the microwave went on by it self, I had to wait a week before I could get my microwave back, all went well until November 2010 when it started with the same problem so I took it back once again on Saterday the 13th of November 2010. The Personnel at House and Home ensured me that they will send my microwave for repairs that following Monday the 15th of November 2010. By Wednesday I phoned the repair company (Radio Vision) to find out how long will it take and they told me that they never recieved my microwave, I phoned them again on Friday the 19th of November 2010 and once again told me that they did not recieve my microwave. I then phoned the Manager of House and Home and he told me that he personally logged the call on Monday and that my microwave is at Radio Vision. A couple of minutes later Radio Vision calls me and tells me that my microwave has just arrived. I call the Manager again and tells him that, he then accuses the workers of lying to him and I have to wait another week for my microwave. By the 26th of November 2010 the week is over but no one calls me back to update me on the progress, so I called Radio Vision on Monday the 29th of November 2010 and they tell me that I must wait another week, I will get it back on the 3rd of December 2010 because they are waiting for a part. So in total I am now three weeks without a microwave, just because the Management were not doing their work properly.

            REF: FULLY AUTOMATIC WASHING MACHINE

            THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT I BROUGHT A MACHINE IN THE MONTH OFJANUARY 2008 MAY BE 10TH OFJAN NOT SURE ABOUT THE DATE FROM M/S KUNDAN ELECTRONICS, B'LORE. FROM THE DAY 1 I AM FACING THE SAME PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN SET THE WASHING MACHINE TO WASH AND RINSE, IT WILL WASH AND THEN IT WILL STOP IT DOESN'T FUNCTION FURTHER AND THE WATER IN THE WASHING MACHINE STAYS IN THE TUB ONLY. THEN WHAT IS THE USE OF FULLY AUTOMATIC MACHINE? DO WE HAVE TO TAKE OUT THE WATER FROM THE TUB AND THROUGH OUT? I HAVE COMPLAINED REGARDING THIS FROM WHEN I TOOK THE MACHINE, THE TCHINICIAN CAME CONNECT SOME WIRE IN THE MACHINE BUT STILL THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED. I AM FED UP OF THIS PROBLEM WHAT IS USE OF FULLY AUTOMATIC MACHINE WHEN THE WATER STAYS IN THE TUB WHEN WE SET FOR RINSING?               I bought from Metro Cash and Carry an Onida 28L Convection cum Oven. We are calling for service centres at Indira nagar and at Metro since last one month. They send some person after several call after 15 days and that person was not competent to give demo as he pointed us that the piece is damaged at control panel. We went next day to Metro for replacement and then Metro personnel guided us that there is no damage it is sticker on control panel which needs to be replaced and hence no demo was given. It was so stupid of this demo personnel. Then after several call another inexperience person was send by Onida who was specialised in Washing machine as per his version and hence he could not give proper demo. After that I called up thrice and everytime the person says he is reaching home today but he does not turn out. This is horrible service. We stay back for him and he does not turn out.

              Whats the use of buying an Oven if we cannot use it? If some personnel from Onida can reply on this than please do

                I have purchased Onida Microwave (Black Beauty) which is under warranty. Its front door glass has broken automatically. There was no mis-handling from our side. As per service engineer I will have to pay for changing the glass. I do not know whether it will be chargeble or not but I have agreed to pay for it. Since then it is already more than one month, no body has turned up to change the glass. The quality of the product is third grade and the service is even worst than that of quality. Suggest everybody not to go for this product.

                  Ac is not working from last 7 days, i contact to customer care service also she give me the Complaint no
                  B 1566 but till now on come to resolve our problem.Moreover she give me the complaint no.on 18.05.2009

                  Bought a 1ton Ac in May 20098and the cooling is very poor inspite of keeping it at 18 degrees. even after complaints no one is willing to attend the problem. Can you send a technician to rectify. My mobiole number [protected] Charles Money.
                  Very poor servicing. Within 30 minutes single person servicing 3 machines, whereas in Carrrier a/c each machine is taken roughly one hour to service. They are cleaning with water the outer unit also.

                  I m from Navsari and i purchased Onida AC and my compressor was failed due to in warranty period i complain about that and the representative came from surat for inspection/testing and finally they agreed that the compressor require to be repalced by new, the subject matter was already they informed to the surat office (Alaska Refrigeration Coproration-Yaminbhai)

                  After 15days no response from your surat office side and when i contact they always say tomorrow 100% they came but no one come here, so u plz request to do the process fast otherwise i go through legal proceedure.

                  i m very sad to say u that i m not satisfied with your service

                  We bought an onida air conditioner one year back and we soon realised that there was something wrong with the compressor, so we called onida service center and demanded free service as the product still had warranty . After many days of waiting the AC was taken for service stating, it would be returned in weeks time. but it has been more than a month and there is no sign of AC being returned. we tried to contact branch office , head office, workshop and even technetions but there is no response from anybody, even from the head office. We totally lost faith in the company, Please return the AC.
                  Onida AC takes you on horrified experience of non performance. I logged complaint [protected] on 14.06.2012 for not cooling. Made more than 50 personal calls to their executives/ service center. Their promise of next day never returned till today (09/07/2012) almost a month. What is more surprising that they would close the complaints with out attending. I had to make complaints one after the other but no response from the company and its service provide. Be aware of ONIDA.

                    I had bought Onida G500 mobile 3 months back. The mobile had a display problems. It was given for repair to Onida service Centre in Jaipur. The Onida people took 20 days to repair it that too with lots pursuance. The after sale is very poor !!! I am not happy that I bought the Ondia product.

                    I kept Onida G500 Mobile for repairing .it had a display problem.Service center here in Pune taking so long days to give it back to me .


                    I am really not happy with this service, will avoid to buy any Onida product.
                    I have also got Onida G500 4 months ago. Now it's display has gone. I need to know about the Service Centre at Patna (Bihar). In Booklet issued with phone, the phone nos. given are either closed or used by some other person but not at Onida Service Centre.
                    I am a distributor of Onida Mobile. The componey has diched us done primarry of its mobile stock but not bother to do secondary. I would say it is a very poorly managed co.
                    I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A BAD COMPANY .THEIR PRODUCT IS NOT ONLY VERY INFERRIOR QUALITY, THEIR SERVICE CENTRE AS WELL AS THE SERVICE PEOPLE ARE NOT AT ALL HAVE A MINIMUM COMMON SENCE AND KNOWLEDGE. THE TENDENCY OF THE EXECUTIVES OF THE COMPANY ARE IN CHEATING MENTALITY.WILL SAY YOU POLITELY BUT WILL DO NOTHING DAYS AFTER DAYS. YOU WILL NOT GET ANY RESPONSE FROM ANY BODY FROM THE COMPANY EVEN AFTER TOP BOSSES.
                    During one of my last trip in India, I have purchased an F910 in October. Same day the Onida F910 was given back because a BUG in the software was Crashing the mobile, while using dual SIM in Lock mode (Sim Lock and Phone lock protection)

                    Onida has first not react, as the mobile was going around. It took 9 month for Onida Support to found out and accept the error and to exchanged the F910 against an F850.
                    Surprisingly the F910 is still in the markt, with the available BUGS.

                    Also the F850 is having a series of BUG. But more or less is working quite OK. At least you can call or receive calls without the mobile crashing.

                    Interesting is that the F850 is marketed as having Sim Lock and Phone lock capacity.

                    It seems further that the F850 is a rebranded Chinese Mobile. Therefore it is understandable that ONIDA can not support such product, as the Know-How on such mobile is huge and seems to be available in China.
                    There is a huge Chinese mobile community and know how available on the net, which is trying supporting those type of Mobile. But Onida, have just block the Mobile to protect user to understand that this is a rebranded Chinese Mobile. making support quite difficult, also for profesionnal people understanding the matter.

                    Almost all mobile have few BUGS while they first come to the market, But wellname company have a through out support, and mostly exchange the software after 3 month on the market. They give even 10 years after first sale a software support, trying to removed those bugs. Nowadays, and due to this very fast changes in this market, the support is even best as you just need to download the last release on the net, and to upload it on the mobile handset, Quite similar as software companies are doing with their products.

                    The big question: is it better to purchase directly a Chinese Mobile with very less support, but where you can at least use the big community, or to purchase an Onida Chinese, with 90% NO SUPPORT.
                    I Say 90%, because ONIDA at least is trying, after approx. 1 year, to replace the mobile.

                    RESUME:
                    You get for this amount a money a good Chinese SciPhone without support. Or you pay 20% more and get a wellnamed mobile. Or wait for ONIDA´s support.
                    I had bought Onida F830 mobile 5 months back. The mobile had a display problem. It was given for repair to Onida service Centre in Bhopal. The Onida people took 20 days to repair it that too with lots pursuance. after that I found FM is not working. I had got repaired it 3 times but the problem remains. Latest in 12th June, I put the mobile in Service centre for repair, it has not repaired nor the service centre has given a positive reply. It is a fact that from the date of purchase, more days it was in service centre than I used it.
                    The after sale is very poor !!! I am not happy that I bought the Ondia product.

                    when i was purchause onida 850 the head phone was broken, i was went many times at delar shop for change the head phone But, approx. 6 month has been gone and head phone is not chane or repair.

                    onida mobiles/f950 — faulty replacement under warranty

                    I bought onida mobile F950. The IMEI number is [protected]. The charging adapter, headphone and connecting lead(adapter to mobile) started to malfuntioning within the period of warranty. Even the mobile port for charging developed a fault. I made a complaint and it took about 1.5 months to correct my complaint. and even though they replace the adapter the new one itself failed to function in next 10 days. Now for getting new adapter I paid 240 Rs. because the warranty has collapsed. What kind on nonsense is this? why should I pay for the faulty replacements. And now it is heard that the mobile section of onida has been shut down. this is rubbish... can i get my money back which I have spent for buying this bullish product. Please suggest

                    I had bought Onida F830 mobile 6 months back. The mobile had a speaker problem. It was given for repair to Onida service Centre in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi. The Onida people took about 15-20 days to repair it that too with lots pursuance. After that I found Data Cable is not working. I make a request to change my data cable, but your service centre people said they have no data cable and take time 15 days for this cable provide me. But I am really very sorry to say after 20 days they can't provide me and also take time 2-3 days. Please take action in this matter and provide me new data cable.

                    I got onida F850 mobile. Still It is in warranty period. It gives very less sound in speakers. I sent to onida service center.

                    I got mobile after 10 days. But same issue exists. Since it was having one IMEI number, one sim was not working.

                    Again I sent to onida service center. I got mobile after a week. I put my two sims, both are not working now.

                    Again I sent to service center… I don’t know when it will be back to me…



                    Onida is having very less service centers for Mobiles. They should assure the quality of service.

                    I had brought a n Onida mobile (model no : V151, Rs.2150/-) from an outlet at Calicut (kerala) by the end of last year.. I was using it in a very normal manner and in a very much careful way.. But still, there is a problem with the protection panel of its display portion.. That is, it is wrapping frequently and intends to flake off from the housing..
                    This was intimated to ONIDA Customer Care Center (Calicut) and I was informed that the housing of transceiver doesn't include 'warranty' and Hence they were helpless.. So, it is notified to the online CustomerCares that this part of the mobile, (eventhough being an important part) would have been made of low quality materials or by defective workmanship.. So, I kindly request the company to replace the defective unit to a new one or to refund the money (Rs.2150/-).. . I hope that you have understood my feedback and also you'll act in a favorable manner.I also remind the company to take care of such facts in future for complete satisfaction of customers. The shopp kiper said to me 1 year warranty in this phone but the service station has charged 1250 Rs as service fees. i have not use GPRS any extra service. and second time i have problem a the sim is invali after 40 to 45 minute i have phone swich of and i gain i swith on it can work but afeter 40 to 45 minutes hi signel the sim was invalid. i don't now the biggest indian company have problem after sale service. The service after sale is very poor.I am not happy that i bought the onida product i told all my friend not purchase any onida product.they was not best company in product and service

                    I HAVE BOUGHT ONIDA G720 HANDSET 5 MONTHS BACK. RECENTLY THE BATTERY DEVELOPED SNAG AND AS THE SAME IS UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD I GAVE THE SAME FOR REPLACEMENT AT THE AUTHORIZED SERVICE STATION MOBILECARE AT C.G.ROAD, AHMEDABAD, ON 05.04.2011. I WAS ASSURED THAT THE SAME WOULD BE REPLACED IN A DAY OR TWO. INSPITE OF DAILY FOLLOW-UPS THE SAME HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED ALTHOUGH TODAY IS THE NINTH DAY. THE STANDARD REPLY OF THE CUSTOMER CARE PERSONNEL IS THAT THEY HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REPLACEMENT BATTERY TILL DATE AND IT WILL TAKE 2-3 MORE DAYS FOR THE REPLACEMENT TO ARRIVE. IT BEATS ME IF THE BATTERY COULD HAVE BEEN BROUGHT FROM VADODARA WHICH IS 100 KMS AWAY FROM AHMEDABAD, HOW ON EARTH IT TOOK 10 DAYS FOR SOMEBODY TO FETCH IT.                       I brought a Onida Microwave oven (POWER SOLO 20) from Total mall (Bangalore - Madiwala, near Police Station) branch. I am frequently facing issues -power flash from the back side of the Oven after that it goes down and never comes up untill the fuse get replaced. Whenever I call the customer support who is situated in Indira nagar, Bangalore will come and solve the issue. I am really fed up of their product and not worth for money. The service man always say there are Cockroaches in the backside of your oven and that's why the machine goes down but I never seen. He replace the fuse with some wires and get it done. I had the same issue more than 5 times since I brought. What will be the highest level of complaint I can do?

                        I purchased a 1.5 ton split AC from Pinky Electronics SCO1113 Sector 22 B Chandigarh on 18/06/2008 vide invoice no.5784.Despite my AC still in warranty period They are not repairing my AC despite my repeatedly calling them.KIndly look into the matter.

                        onida sziz flt 1 ton — ac not working and under warranty.

                        The complaint was made on 24.06.09 vide complaint no.[protected]. I spoke to next shop pattabiram wher i purchased the ac on phone 26853435 and spoke to phone no. 32973243 hopefully the service centre. one spare capacitor needs to be changed, but still they have not attended. The i/c no. is [protected] mr. chandrsekar and the technician is named magi and is no. is [protected]. Do the need ful. My no is [protected].

                          I had bought Onida CO21BLKTAG TV on 26, Jauary 2009 from BIG BAZAR Ameerpet. After sometime it started making some sound and its stoped working.

                          Regarding this problem we registered compliant in the customer service at Hyderabad.

                          One of the Technician from customer service came at 7:30pm on 9-may-2009, i had told him the problem. he replied that there is Manufacturing Defect in this slot of models.and ask me to sign in work order that he attended the service when i said him that i will not sign he said this is only for attendance use so i had sign on that work order..and to replace that part as he will get it from service center after some days.

                          I had also contacted BIG BAZAR Electronics Manager about this Manufacturing Defect issue of TV. But he said he BIG BAZAR is not responsible after any sales of it products. but when i insisted on taking complain he took the complain in written and said that he will get back to me within 1 week but still i dint get any reply from them, and when tried to contact the Customer care number for both ondia and Big bazzar but there is no response no on is answering the call.

                            Unfortunately I opened this page after purchasing one 0.8 ton split AC of Onida. Unit was supplied with a 3 pin top which was not suitable for 15 A standard 3 pin plugs available in Indian market. The representative visited for installation o[censored]nit also cursed company for supply of such non-standard item and cut the 3 pin top. Connected wires o[censored]nit with 15 A 3 pin plug and switched on Unit. It worked OK. Next day I purchased one 3 pin top from market and tried to contact person who installed AC but his mobile was not reachable. (As I had confusion of wires. As per Indian standard RYB are the wires supplied but supplied were brown, blue & green)
                            I referred manual to find customer care, Vadodara contact no. but all the numbers are changed. I tried Ahmedabad numbers but person who attended call started shouting and warned me of police complain if I call 2nd time (This number was also changed)
                            I mailed [protected]@onida.com about updating telephone nos. mentioned in “List of ServiceCentre” but there is no response from response(?)@onida.com till today.
                            Next day I contacted Dealer through whom I purchased and he guided us to fit wires.
                            Another problem I faced is funny. AC works OK but after switching off through remote control, we for safety switch off main switch. But when we switch on main switch to restart, internal unit starts but fan of outside unit doesn’t start. After switching on & off 3-4 times, finally outside fan also start. I requested representative, who installed unit to come and sort out matter but he said, he will visit, whenever he visits nearby place to my house. After waiting for 3-4 days, I contacted Dealer and informed him about this problem. He also promised that my problem will be sorted out shortly. Till date his “Shortly” time has not come. I can’t contact Onida’s customer care as I don’t have telephone nos.
                            Anyways, it was my mistake that I purchased unit of a “Non standard company”. I will have to suffer but I will not allow any of friends, relatives to go for “ONIDA”. You know why? The brand symbol itself is a devil & of course “neighbors envy.”

                              We have registered a complaint with their call centre on 31.3.2009 & the complaint no provided was [protected]. The machine is under AMC. The Service Engineer visited our residence & informed that certain parts were not available with him. Hence he will visit us after few days on receipt of the parts. More than 45 days have past & there is no response from the company. Quite shocking to know that such a reputed company provides poor service to the customers even though we pay them in advance for AMC.

                                Got an Onida 29 inch TrueSlim TV. The pictue suddenly has become distorted, warped, wavy, corners stretched at the corners, channel logos gone out of screen. The same complaint was there 4 months ago. Company personnel took almost a month to repair the problem, till which time some part of the internal electronics was taken away by the company service personnel. They installed the part after 1 month, the TV was non functional till that time. I dont know if that was the brand new part replaced or just a refurbished one, . we were told that the company engineers were still experimenting on the model cuz it was a very new model. The same problem has recurred. Am I justified in asking for a replacement of the entire set? since the same problem has recurred twice and its still in the warranty period. does it indicate manufacturing fault of poor quality!

                                I have purchased the sam model on Sept 18th and I have the same problem as you explained. I have asked for the replacement as this happened only within 5 weeks but there is no confirmation from either the dealer or the company.

                                  I baught Split AC of ONIDA company which is 5 star rated .Earlier i was using 2 star from onida only but, i changed to model SM18SLM (which is latest one). I don't know why the the indoor unit is very noisy. and I didn't get the effect of atleast 2 stared one.

                                  I am also experiencing the same problem with my 5 star rated Onida Air-Conditioner. The indoor unit is noisy and the cooling is not even half of what a 1.5 ton AC should be giving.
                                  I have measured the grill temperature which does not comes below 16 Degrees. Now when they are claiming for cooling at 48 Degrees and the AC cannot even deliver a grill temp of 12 Degrees how is that possible.
                                  Moreover when i compared it with my older 1.5 Ton window AC they are giving better cooling than this brand new Onida. They are delivering a grill temperature of 10-12 degrees despite being 3-5 yrs old.
                                  Also after complaining to the Onida CRC and local service dealer several times they are ignorant about the whole issue and to my surprise they are not even bothered to what their customer is suffering.
                                  I installed the AC a month back and since then it is giving me problems. i hope this forum can make them listen to my problems and they can send someone to fix it.
                                  It is very true that this AC is not even working like a 1 Ton 3 Star rated AC. Whereas i have paid a premium of almost 10000 above all other 3 star rated AC of Onida as well as other brands.
                                  Please take notice of this problem as i have already registered the problem with onida online

                                    bought an Onida AC a year ago Model WG 1.5 ton. Sl no. 14440 from National Aircon authorized sales and service dealers shop no. 1 C.N Complex Rajapuri, Dwarka, New Delhi 75.

                                    According to the clause no.15 on the warranty page, it says that the customer will get preventive maintenance service which will be carried out 2 times in the period of 12 months. Amazingly enough, it never happened in my case .When I called the dealer six months ago, he gave me a telephone no.[protected], which is out of service. The dealer promises to give another no. in an hours time however that 1 hour never ends. I called him innumerable number of times he gives me the same response. Now my AC has almost stopped cooling, of course due to lack of maintenance. And I don't know what to do and who to go to.

                                    Onida Window Air Conditioner — Crack Compressor

                                    I have brought Onida Air Conditioner from Madan AirCon, Jayanti Market, Jaipur. TIN # [protected] Model WG18N on Feb 9 and used it for the first time on April 15th . It was making extremely loud Noise and lodged telephonic complain to the seller but after waiting for 15 days and complaining again nobody came. In May we started the process of telephonic complain again as basides the noise it was not giving any cool air. An engineer came and according to him the compressor is cracked. Now after one month of his visit the condition remains the same.
                                    I'll advise consumer never to think of buying ONIDA even if it is last piece on this earth and servicer of MADAN AIRCON is worsr and support to customer is Nil.
                                    I regret buying and hope to throw this piece in the garbage if nothing is done within this week.

                                      I have been writing this mail after getting fed up with your after sales support and very bad response.



                                      I have purchased a microwave oven Nov 2007, It got some problem of heating in Sep 2008, I launched a complained in Onida service centre, Pune. The engineer has come to sort the problem and took 1 Month to response after following up for so many days with the call centre guys. He took my Microwave for repair and returned after 15 Days. i.e Near about Oct 2008 end. Ironically the Microwave repaired stop working after 2 days. Than I again launch a complain and these guys took almost 15-20 Days to response. I did lots of follow-ups to make it done. A person came in Jan2009 and told that we have to change a part of it. After that he never turned up.



                                      Again I initiated the talk in March 2009, In april 2009 Eng has come and took a part of Oven said that they will repair this and get back to us. Today is 05/may/2009 No one has responded yet. Now I fed up with this nonsense and want to take action against -:



                                      Onida- For providing low quality damaged product & After Sales Support.
                                      Big Bazzar (Chinchwad) Pune – For selling low quality & Damaged products.


                                      I am putting a case in Honorable consumer court against Onida & Big Bazzar.



                                      If I am not getting any response I will be using Print media, Electronic Media to tell this story and people will be careful in future to buy anything of Onida & Big Bazaar.

                                        Sir,

                                        I am native of Cochin ( Vaduthala) . My Onida Tv had a complete shut down on April 9th . The company service personnel attended the complaint next day and he cleared all the things except the audio . There was no sound for the T.V for many days. Few weeks after he came and took away the board. Till this date my complaint is not properly attended . I have planned to tell this to my friends and relatives . The poor service of the company have resulted in this .
