We have bought Onida Oxygen Thunder 29 Inch on August 2007 and after only two years it's not working properly.And, the person from authorized dealer name Ashoka electronic corporation, Kaser Gunj .Ajmer had sent a person who was not able to resolve the problem.And, we are facing problem which shows that Onida company is Multinational Company but are following the same old ways to handle there customer and pay attention only on sales and not on after sale services or customer relationship.

    I had bought a combo offer of a TV - 32LDBVR and a DVD player – 8637 on 18th July ’07 for an amount of Rs 60.980 /- from Unilet, Bangalore – 92

    We have been having intermittent problems which Video, audio consistently.

    Due to the repeated problems, the warranty expiry was extended from 17th July to 16th Oct ’08. However there has been no permanent respite on the problem of the Set going blank abruptly .
    Frustrated with the product, I had sent it for service on 3rd Jan ’09 . Since then we / I has been consistently following up .

    Now the company wants me to pay Rs 15, 000 /- to replace the panel, with a 90 day guarantee . In fact the TV has spent the last 90 days at the service centre !!

    We have two other TVs at home : A Toshiba which has been serving for 7 years and a Sharp which has been serving for 9 years . The environment and the Users are the same .

    The kind of performance I have experienced, is not expected from a Onida product and hence I have been requesting for a thorough check-up as there maybe an inherent defect with this particular set, which needs correction .

    After paying Rs 61 K, I have had to go through a lot of agony . Now spending another Rs 15 K ( with a 90 day guarantee ! ) is quite unjustified .

    Onida LCD TV 32" — POOR AFTER SALE SERVICE

    MY BROTHER HAS PURCHASED ONE ONIDA LCD TV 32" ON 18.01.2009. RECENTLY SOME TECHNICAL PROBLEM HAS ARISEN. I FIRST MADE COMPLAIN ON 24.06.09. SOME BODY HAS COME AND PROMISED TO COME ON 26TH JUNE AND RECTIFY THE SAME. BUT, REALLY NO BODY APPEARED. AGAIN I MADE COMPLAIN ON 2/7/09. TILL TODAY NOBODY HAS APPEARED.
    WOULD YOU PLEASE GIVE ME ONIDA COMPANY'S HIGHER AUTHORITY'S CONTACT NUMBER? WHERE I CAN LODGE COMPLIANT ABOUT THE POOR SERVICE OF ONIDA SERVICE CENTRE. MY CONDUCT NO IS [protected]. EMAIL ID [protected]@rediffmail.com.

      I lodge this complaint on behalf of one of our members of member associations Mr. G. Varghese, he is available at the mobile No.(0) [protected]. Mr. Varghese had purchased an ONIDA washing machine from M/s PL.A. Mega TV Showroom, situated at PL.A. Shopping Mall, No.15, 11th Cross Main Road, Thillai Nagar, Tiruchirappalli - 18 on 07.04.2007 with the warranty of two years from the date of purchase. Since last months, the machine has problem, but the service person coming from the company deliberately act to exhaust the Warranty period, which falls to be closed on 06.04.2009.

      The effort of Mr. Varhese had failed, hence he approached us for his redressal. Our organization is one of the recognized consumer and service organizations in this State. We are authorised to appear before the Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum. We are the coordinator to the numbers of Consumer Clubs in the Central Districts of Tamil Nadu.

      Hence, we appeal to your good self kindly direct to your dealer to attend the defect and do the needful in redressal of the innocent consumer.

        Hi!

        I have purchased Extra Warranty of 3 years on my new IGO Tv in 2006 by paying their required fees at muzaffarnagar.
        Now my tv is having color problem as well as channel memory problem. I have registered by complaint to their Meerut Office bearing C140 dated[protected]. But till now, inspite of repeated calls, their is no reply/action.
        We feel cheated by this dual behaviour of the TV companies.
        If you can't serve then why do you open these customer service centers.

        I won't ask or advice for an Onida product in future.

        Sir I have Igo Colour television in my home, its working well and all function with tv and remote working good. But due to any misoperating since few days its volume autometically locked in 12 level, that means its lock in volume level 0 to 12. I tried many steps to unlock volume level, but its not working. Please provide me help as soon as possible.

          we bought onida 21' flat color tv in the o7 march n and they hav given the warranty for 3 yrs. and the . in the month of october 08 and v have informed the cstomer care and they have come and inspected and said it has only one warrantty its cost 1250/- v wer socked hear tht v have showed the manual mentioning 3yrs he was orging ther is only one yr warranty he was also mentioning some0ne wd have poinitngout that v have filld up the warranty as 3 yrs which is only 1 year.

          hence i have decided not to take any onida products and very wel ensure tht any of our friends shd
          not by thes brand prodcts.

          note; even now i havnt repaird my tv .

              My Onida Oxygen 29" TV's EHT (Extra High Tension Coil) and a few other components burnt off within two and a half years (30 months).

              If EHT burns out within 3 years, then they are definitely using inferior products. Please do not buy Onida products.

              The repair cost Rs. 2000/-. Got the job done from outside. They had to make modifications to the circuitry, which means that the original layout is problematic. Another friend of mine has had the same problems and he had to scrap the same Onida Oxygen 29" TV.

              the above person is 100% correct i am also having the same trouble my onida oxygen 29" TV's EHT coil got burnt all of the sudden & the estimate is very high, please avoid purchasing onida TV's

                This is what I have to share regarding Onida Service in Bangalore.

                I have a Onida 29inch Oxygen 300 TV set. It is in warranty period. The TV had flames inside on 01 March 2009. On registering a complaint. The engineer turned up only on 06 March.
                There were commitments that engineer will visit and nobody turned up until 06 March.

                The PCB was collected for repairs and the commitment for replacement was 12th March.

                Until end of 12 March nobody even called to give the status.
                When called on 13th March, it was said that the TV will be repaired by 14 March.
                Again as usual no response.

                I had to visit The Adonis Service center on 14th March.
                To my surprise, I found that nobody had looked at it and they cannot tell me, what is the problem and when will it be repaired.

                I called up the Bangalore service head (Mr Prasanna).
                However he is very much part of the same culture.
                He committed to call back and never called back.

                Pls. think twice about the service when you decide to but Onida products.

                  I had given a complaint to "Onida Authorised Service Centre" 100/3, T Block, 3rd avenue, Annanagar, Chennai - 40 (phone no.[protected] on[protected] stating that my Onida one ton split AC was not working since the power supply to the stabliser was off. I was given complaint no. 26380359 and informed that the technician will attend to the problem on[protected]. But till today[protected], no one from the service centre had come and I had given a reminder to the service centre. I am still waiting for the technician.

                  I have been contacting your service centre to install my split ac 1ton which I bought on 4th May, Monday. Since 5th I am getting various promises and committments, every day I take permission from my office and ultimately nothing happened. If they can not servie their customers on time as they committed why simply to sell Acs and give false committments. I tried the number 32973244, Anna Nagar, everytime they hold my call for 15 mins and say their technician is on his way.

                  Today again I was assured at 2 PM, till 4PM their technician was not reachable on his mobile! After waiting for so long, we got frustrated and called the same number to find the status, every time they disconnect the line and next moment the line will be engaged. I think they have caller ID and avoided my calls for more them 10 times. Today I spent more than Rs.100/- to contact them and never expected this irresponsible behaviour.
                  actually we purchased a new ONida splitt AC ...it was not working properly...we have given the complain to the custmer service center...what they r telling is that they will attend it today nu..but from 25th may 2009 (for the past 8 days)onwards they r telling like that only..but no technician came to repair that still we r in guarntee period itself...ondia customer service is very very worst.

                  Onida AC — Delaying AM service

                  Am Geetha homemaker,we buyied a Onida A/C and we are maintaining it properly.Once a person came for service had told me about the AMC(Annual maintenance) i thought it was a good deal and paid for it.But after 4 months they didn't come for service,so i called and registered a compliant on Ondia customer care.They told me that the person will come for service,untill now (after 2 months from registed compliant) the person had not come for service.I need a proper response from their side otherwise return the money i had paid for AMC....

                    I am a native of Attingal, Trivandrum district, Kerala, India.I am a customer of Onida TV since 2000 and I have recommended and bought about six TVs for my friends and relatives. I am also having two TVs at home, one 21” Audioport TV and a 29” oxygen TV. Audio port was bought some 8-9 years back and it is now in good condition. The 29” TV was bought on[protected].It was in good condition up to about two months. After that it is having some or other problems. Firstly some component in the board damaged and it was replaced within two or three days. Some months later the picture tube itself went wrong. Fortunately warranty was not over and it was replaced. For that the TV had been in the servicing centre for more than two months. It was said that the parts were not there. So I am very sorry to say that your customer care is extremely poor. Even if the complaint is reported the mechanic will come only after two or three days. Picture tube was damaged on 4-7-08. After replacing it, again some complaint was there. It was corrected after two weeks. Now on 2-3-09 it is on some problem. I reported it to the servicing centre and the mechanic came after two days and said that the transformer get damaged and it is not with them but can be corrected on or before 7-3-09.It has not repaired yet. I didn’t expect this kind of matters from a great company like ONIDA. It is better not having a TV than a TV like this. So kindly take this TV back and better give me a new one. The guarantee has been extended to[protected]. Believe you take immediate action, waiting for your reply.

                    onida 29" oxygen tv — picture tube complaint

                    I, KAMAL K S bought the tv from OMANA electonics Kottarakkara, a shop near by us.I had already registered a complaint to ONIDA company.At that time you contant me and i had given all the details about that.Here after one month, there is no response from you..Again i put the complaint because the service man told me that the picture tube was complaint.I purchased the tv before 3 years @ Rs.17500/-.At that time there is no bad situation in the climate also.I'm a permanent customer of onida.My old television runs through a period of 13 years with no complaint.My address is: KAMAL KS, revathy, karikkal, karimpinpuzha P.O, Kollam Dist., Kerala State, India.

                      I am a owner of ONida V-115 cell phone. The ear phone set cable was damaged. I roamed the entire Kakinda city to get a spare. But I could not. I contacted your marketing officers through internet also. One gentleman telephone to me and said that spares are available at Kakinada.

                      I submit that thereare no spares requred by me at Kakinada. Your spare supply system is not satisfactory. Nobody will dare to purchase your cell phone as there is no proper spares supply. Please despatch the ear phone cable set to me through VPP at the earlies.

                      i'm using ONIDA -v115 mobile . now i had a problem my phone gets hanged i need a service center for my for onida mobile in coimbatore to get it flahed and install new software

                      so please tell me where shall i service my mobile in coimbatore, TAMILNADU.
                      Yes...this is the state of onida mobiles. I didn't get earphones in hyderabad only though it is a city and the that phone is sold everywhere.
                      i have warrantid mob piece but consumer care r no give responce to me ... my mob no is[protected]
                      Onida Cell phone seems to be chineese one with their stamp & cover, same problems i had with TWO of ONIDA F970 cell, in both reciver had so low voice, that it was hardly audiable, and unless speaker phone mode is one, it is unusable. And in one set, in addition to the voice problem, the hanging or flash of screen problem comes, all such problems make ONIDA a totally garbage, it is better if one gives this money in some temple, rather than allowing ONIDA company to loot from unaware customers.

                        I was working with mirc electronics ltd till febaruary 2007.i have submitted my pf claim document to mirc electronics ltd chennai branch office in the month of febraury 2008.My pf claim form is received on 23/8/2008 by pf office till date i didnt receive my pf amount.My pf no is MH/KND/22799/12572. My pf is registered in mumbai office iam residing at chennai- tamil nadu i am finding it very difficult to know the status of my pf claim .In tamil nadu pf office it will take above 45 days below 90 days to get the claim reimbursement.why it is not so in other branch iam now jobless doing small business i need my money very badly pls help me to get my money .

                        We had reported an issue with our oven last week and the issue has not been fixed until today. We have lost hope and looks like the unit need to be replaced. We have not used the over not more than 2 hours since purchase. We purchased the unit around 15th June and there were no resource that came down to install the unit as well.

                          i purchased a ONIDA 21 OXYGEN THUNDER on 21st feb 2009 from PAWAN ARCADE, TILAK MAIDAN ROAD, MUZAFFARPUR.BIHAR in 10500 rupees.when i brought my tv to my home i saw its front cover was broken and a tape was used there.i managed with that.when i switched on the tv after some time it started creating problem.it started leaving colour for some seconds at a particular interval..i called the dealer the same day and he sent the mechanic after a day..the mechanic saw the tv and told to change the cable line.he assured that the problem will end.i did that but the problem persisted.again i called the technician he opened the cabinet of the tv and told us that a part of the tv is faulty and the part needs to be changed..he will change the part..but being a customer why i should suffer for a brand new tv that i have purchased..it is not fare for the company to change the part with another one.being a consumer i want my system to be all right for which i want a replacement of the tv with another one or a complete refund of my money..i will go for a new brand..regarding that i called the customer care and the service centre also..but they are not taking the proper response..i have called them several times but a poor response from their side..at last have to come to the consumer forum and i want to register a complaint against ONIDA.pls take a proper action against them and have me the justice.my details are

                          But Last 15 Days This Not Working , TV Not Start , Only Green Light Display ,Power Suply OK. As per my Knowledge TV Tube Not Working Properly.

                          So You Requiest Pl. Call Me Before Servece.

                            had complained about my Onida tv on third week of feb2009. Now after 2, 3 days one person comes from onida &remove internal parts to repair .till date my tv not working because of part not fitted.i fill onida cheated, insulted.

                            I had bought Onida 21''tvon 14th april 2008 at pune (maharastra) shree mauli electronics. After some times the DVD player not connect to tv But tv was in working condition.
                            Regarding this problem we registered compliant in the customer service at pune (Compliant number: 0587 and on third week of feb 2009).

                            One Gentle from customer service came, remove the internal parts to repairing & he said that 2, 3 days he will come & fit the part.

                            After we wait 3 day but no one come then we call to service center one champ said that one IC not available in his service center.they said parts come 4 to 5daysbut parts not available i call again & again but every time new person talk me & says part not ready this insidence to go last 15 days contineus after complaining the bombay offiice..TILL DATE MY TV NOT REPAIRED .LAST FIFTINE DAY I GOT LOTS OF IRRITATION .I M NOT INTRESTED TO USE THIS TV

                            Now I am humbly request Onida Authority to step in and take the quick, sharp & necessary action.PROVIDE ME NEW TV
                            Then I had one more request to onida please keep GOOD SERVICE FOR CUSTOMER in customer service as relation

                            I hope ONIDA will try it's best to maintain the customer faith & esteem. Otherwise I need to drop Onida from my mind.

                            ONIDA THE WORST IN CUSTOMER CARE

                            I bought a onida 21" color TV set from TVC Electronics, Chidambaram Tamilnadu in June 2008.

                            On[protected] I found that the TV set was dead and I complained about the same on[protected] to the dealer from whom I purchased it..

                            The TV mechanic visited my home and he told that a transistor(which was out of stock at that time with the onida service franchisee) is damaged and it will be replaced in another 2 days.

                            But till today neither the dealer nor the service franchisee took interest to replace the damaged part and this evening when I visited the dealer he said that it will take another two days.

                            In a big company like ONIDA, is such a small part which is available for Rs 25 in electronic markets out of stock? It seems to be ridiculous.

                            Hereby I strongly advise you friends not to buy any of the ONIDA product. ONIDA shows interest only in sales not in customer service or satisfaction.

                              Hi,

                              I have brought a Ondia Split A/C one and half years ago in National Store at Gudiyatham, Vellore Dist Tamil Nadu. After installation no one has turned up for service even for the intial free service. ..I use to get a repeated answer from the service center that they will come in 2days...Kindly let me know where I have to escalate this issue

                              I also agree with your comments with ONIDA service center. Because I am also facing lot of problem with ONIDA service center(Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd).

                                I took the microwave oven to the “Onida House” for repair work on[protected] and submitted for repair work . They gave an the work will be over within three days and you can contact us and ask about the details and collect the item from them. On[protected] we called and enquired whether the oven is ready. They said the part has to come from Bombay and in two days it will be ready. Again I had to call on[protected],[protected],[protected] and they were asking me if I would you like to sell it off. I was ferocious on hearing this. They were playing games on us by talking like this. During Christmas time we very badly need it and frantically we were calling them but got irresponsible answers. Every time when we make the call they were telling within two days. Even now we are helpless. Today 19-02009 when we asked they have replied ‘within one week’. We do not know what to do. Kindly help us.

                                I have purchased the onida / microwave oven in[protected], It was not woking since Jully to till the date.
                                I have called many times to onida regarding this but no proper response from onida. I brought it in Spencers Hypermarket. Spence's Retail Limited (MMX Mall Mohan Nager Ghaziabad U.P. Now need your help to to repair on it. we have contacted you plenty of time and disappointed. Could you Pls do the needful asap.

                                  AFTER PURCHASING 2 AND A HALF YEAR 29 " ONIDA TV IS COME TO STOP WORKING.THE NEXT DAY I COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS TO THE NEAREST ONIDA SERVICE CENTRE, THEY REGISTER THE COMPLAINT AND GAVE ME A NUMBER.AFTER CONTINUIOS CALLING BY PHONEAFTER 4 DAYS A MECHANIC CAME HOME AND SAID THE PICTURE TUBE IS GONE.HE PROMISED TO ME TO CHANGE THE PICTURE TUBE WITH IN 1 WEEK TIME.WHEN ASKING ABOUT THE COMPLAINT THEY MADE DIFFERENT REASONS LIKE PICTURE TUBE NOT AVAILABLE, ALREADY ON THE WAY FROM THE COMPANY, WITH IN ANOTHER WEEK IT WILL BE THERE ETC.NOW AFTER ALMOST MORE THAN 3 MONTHS THE DEAD TV IS IN MY HOME.FROM OTHERS I CAME TO KNOW THAT THE AFTER SERVICE OF ONIDA IS VERY POOR.NOW I STARTED TO REVERT MY FREINDS, AND FAMILY MEMBERS FROM BUYING ONIDA BRAND PRODUCTS.IT IS A SHAME FOR A COMPANY FOR THIS BAD SERVICES, NOBODY ENVY TO YOU SIR, BECAUSE YOUR LOGO OF PRODUCT IS A DEVIL, NOT A GOD.

                                    From the date of purchase, the TV had this complaint, I had purchased the TV from Vasanth and Co, and the technician from Onida came and did the wall mount fixing of the LCD TV. The next day when i switched on the remote, the TV did not switch on. when spoken to Customer service at 66783000 at chennai they said the board has to be changed since there was no inbuilt stabilizer in the TV. They will arrange to replace it and took the complaint. I logged in the complaint in Dec 2008 and till date no personnel has come to attend to this. Every time i call, they give some reason or the other. This has to be taken up seriously. I have logged in a complaint for the final time today if this is not resolved ( since i have not been able to switch on the TV itself) please take this as a serious complaint and do the needful. Last but not least, I expect Onida to have the courtesy not to charge me for the service rendered since i have not been able to switch on the TV from the very next day of purchase and it shoould surely be under Warranty period i am sure.

                                    I HAVE PURCHASED A XARIA 32" LDC TV FROM LULU HYPER MARKET ABU DHABI ON MAY 2009.I TOOK IT TO KERALA BY 20 TH OF MAY.WITHING 2 WEEKS ITS REMOTE CONTROLLER BECAME DEAD.I WENT TO NEAREST SERVICE CENTER ADONICS AT KANNUR (KERALA) BUT I GOT VERY BAD RESPONSE.I PURCHASED NEW REMOTE FOR 370.IT JUST WORKED 14 MONTHS AND IT ALSO DEAD.I CONTACTED SAME SERVICE CENTER AGAIN BUT AFTER ONE YEAR ALSO THEIR ATTITUDE WAS SAME.FINALLY I CONTACTED AREA MANGER THROUGH MAIL AND I GOT IT AFTER 45 DAYS.BUT ITS LIFE WAS JUST ONLY 4 DAYS.TECHNICIANS ARE NOT ABLE TO FIND THE PROBLEM TILL NOW.ONIDA IS SUPPLYING VERY POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS.

                                      Not compatible with some Airtel Sim

                                      I have purchased a ONIDA Mobile (Model no. - G460) from HomeShop18 on 28th December 2008 and I received the same on 3rd january 2009. After 2 days I activate the mobile with life time Airtel Sim but I found a peculiar problem that as and when some one calls me the call is auto received by the mobile although there is no such option of auto receive present in the mobile. This mobile is OK wih other Sim Cards there is no such abnormalities...

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      My ONIDA TV suddenly in October, 2008 went blank and the service engineer Mr Raturi (from ONIDA Service centre, Mohini Road, Dehradun, Uttrarkhand) ) came to our house and took a part from the TV with a promise to come back within 48 hrs either with the required part or give a stand by TV if there is a delay in procuring the part.

                                      This was on 21.10.2008, Now with more than 100 days passed and with more than two dozen calls to Mr Raturi and ONIDA Service centre, Dehradun (India), our TV lies un repaired really like an box in our bedroom.

                                      Mr Raturi response is the same very time that it will be done within 02 days but with no result. I cant understand why such engineers are kept by the service centre who are unable to attend the complaints.

                                      And now if I create a scene by going to his service centre, you will say that customers do not have patience. I just want to know what sort of After sales service is being provided by ONIDA.
