We were gifted onida's microwave oven in Mumbai. The product was to be used in Kolkata. However, when we tried to use the product, it was not working. We tried calling service centers (provided in the catalogue), however, none of the numbers were correct. We tried registering the complain in their general board number but no response was given.

      The Onida AC purchased a year back has not been giving satisfactory cooling since the beginning of the season.
      The company has been giving services from april till date but is unable to fix the core problem and half of the summer season has gone in repetitive complaints.
      The company inspite of changing the defective product, which was in warranty during initial complaints of this season, is sending different officials and fooling us for no reason.
      If they cannot find the core problem, then the product should be changed as per the warranty states.

        Respected sir,

        I bought a Onida TV on 23-4-07. It is just one year. It has been giving problem for the last 3-4 days and now it is totally off due to inconectivity with power supply. I got my complaint registered at Ludihana, Onida Service Center, and they connected me with Amritsar Service Center. Mine complaint number is ([protected]). It has been 5-6 days continously taking with service center (Amritsar[protected] and those peoples are really very careless, nonresponding, and even so rude to me. They refrained to give me proper reply. Even cut the call in running mode. After then i called Ludhiana, Service Center. I complained them all about their sub-service center employees are doing. Then i got connected with senior most persion Ms. Suman[protected] there in Service Center Ludhiana. I asked her about the status of my complaint. I told her that it is has been so long and ur sub-station peoples are doing so bad and nonresponding. I just asked her to give me any responsible person of this managment...She just like to give me number like she is not worried about at all and there is no one to ask them about their duties what they are doing and what they are there for? even so careless, so rude...In short i would like to say such Service Center should be closed or such stupid or careless persons should be washed out from customer services. I would like to ask Onida Mangement if they are paying them for doing nothing, or making their customers annoyed with their such stupid services?

          we bought onida 1 ton ac at surthkal mangalore. Two times we changed the remote paying 1000 each in 6 month after warranty.now totally AC is not working. Technician could not identfy the problem. he is telling to change the motor or total circuit board. which cost around 2000 to 3000rupeees. do you think is really worth to pay huge amount after one&half year of purchase? whether i can file a case against the company, is possible?

            My Onida TV set has some problem and for we logged an complain in Onida customer care. No one came to us to repair our TV in the time period they mentioned. So when we called them again ( to the number [protected] which is onida customer care number) with the complain number, they just behaved in a rude manner. I think the guy in ONIDA customer care centre do not have an idea of what customer care is all about. When I asked his name, he got angry and scolded me.

            onida black t. v. — dissatisfaction from the staff

            i have gone to lucknow sevice centre of onida, to get my t.v. remote repaired, we were just asking for the service charges. and u'r entire staff was forcing me to buy new remote insted of telling me the service charges. when i said i'll not buy new remote, i just want to get it repaired only. I've given my remote to them and told them to check the exact problem, they repaired it without asking and given me bill of rupees 300. when i said that how dare u to repare it without my permission they said now we can not do any thing u've to pay the bill then only you can get back u'r remote . finally i asket for the number of senior staff they have given wrong number.
            this is not a warning but i m telling u i'll go to the consumer forum, it is better to take action against u'r staff.

            Onida TV — Very Bad Product Company

            I have purchased a TV & DVD player of onida. It is the product with very cheap quality material, which is just like a china product that even offen gets spoiled. I purchased the TV & DVD just 4 months back & now I am in condition to resale it for half price I say onida is chaeting the people by collecting high rate but giving low quality product.

            I HAD BROUGHT FLAT ONIDA TV MODEL NUMBER 20 XSST AND IS UNDER WARRANTY, THE TV HAS UNDERGONE FREQUENT MAINTENANCE PROBLEM, WE HAD LODGED A COMPLAINT ON DATE 09/08/2008, YET NO PERSON FROM ONIDA ATTENDED THE PROBLEM NOR SEEN THE TV.

            I have purchased ONIDA 21" TV approx. 8years back. I had a major frequent problem in the warrenty period. I did service so many times. I paid lot of money for the same. Again one day the TV completely not working. As per Onida service people instructions I have changed the Full board. I paid Rs.3500/-. After some times I faced Colour problem. The remote was not working. Remote sensor not working. Again I rectified all the problems and I paid Rs.1400/-. After 2months the TV completely not working.             SIR,

            I am Dhananjay Bhujade working In Mahindra & Mahindra Pune. We have purchased one Onida TV (Oxygen250) on 5th Nov 09 in the name of Suchita Khandekar from Rupam Electronics, Nagpur. TV was giving problem in feb 09. After so much fallowup they has repaired it after 2 weeks. On 24th apr 09 it was again giving some problem. We had logged complaint[protected] at same day. Your person has came after three days & confirmed about the part failure. He has returned with new part after 3 days but the problem was not solved. He again taken another part from TV and told that he has to check this part at service center. After checking the part he said abuot the pitcure tube failure and confirmed that part will be replaced very soon. I have called to your service person/ service centre so much time and they had cormfirmed part replacement on 4th apr 09 but till date it has not happen so.

            I totaly dissatisfied due to this type of pathetic service and will not refer to anybody to purchase ONIDA company any product.
            Requesting you to pl repair my TV at the earliest otherwise ther will no option to proceed furthet for legal case.

            I have placed a detailed complaint. Onida has been the worst TV and service centre personnel are arrogant, misbehaved and irresponsible without any respect or concern for the customers.Better close all the service centres and stop production and duping the public by false promises and advertisements. I suggest all not only not to purchase TVs but any Onida product.

            Surprisingly for me today, The mechanic of Onida, named Rajesh not only refuses to come for service, but he has misbehaved with the my family members and challanged that He will not visit and perform his duties, and we can do whatever we can.

            I have decided not to repeat the mistake of buying the Onida products and sending mails to my all friend, kiths and kins to keep them aware about the bogus advertisements of Onida family.

            If any of the my friends has the contact ID for Sri Baba Ramdev Jee, I would request Babajee to anounce about the misbehavior of Onida customer care in his meetings where the message spreads like a Brahm Sutra.

            ONIDA Service is sick. I had faced problem with my 29 " TV. I had logged compliant by calling Onida Service Center at Hyderabad on October 6th 2009 [compliant no.[protected]]. Technician attended and conveyed that LOT is the problem. Also he conveyed that to get an fresh LOT thru company it would take 10 days. We wondered how could it take such a long time.. that too being at City.

            But its been approx 3 weeks i.e 24 days and LOT is still on its way. Finally today when i had called up the concerned person from the Hyderabad, Kukatpally incharge of Onida service cente - he conveyed that LOT is been couriered from Mumbai today and it would take another 2-3 days :D. God knows how this ONIDA service works and how they are still surviving!! I understand that it depends some times and would get delayed, but to get an device will it take a month to get it repaired??

            Is there any way that we can show this to an responsible person at Onida, may be senior level person?

            I am just looking ways to highlight this kind of service to their management. Will update you if i find any way.

            I have purchased a new ultra slim TV of onida 21" and there is a problem in the TV the volume is become slow and there is some black line coming at the side i need to replace the same

            Onida TV — Picture Tube

            I purchased an Onida 29 oxygen 3 years ago. Within 1 month of purchase, the screen started shrinking. when I registered a compaint with the dealer, they told its normal and might be a problem of your cable connection. After 3 yrs, the picture tube just failed !!! on consulting, the dealer told to give it in exchange. Is it like this that when one's tv fails to work, you give it in exchange everytime????

            bad picture quality with bad service. so i don't recommend to anybody to purchase any type of onida tv.
            I bought onida tv and onida microwave oven. Both got problems within less than a year. Service is very bad. No body picks up the phone. One guy came and repaired the oven it went off after 2 days. I have very bad experience.

            Onida TV — manufacturing defect

            In November 6th,2010 i purchase new Onida 32" LCD TV.Now a day i found there i a huge gap between front TV screen, here in vadodara i call at your service center but not get positive res ponce WHY???.Mr.Pravin[protected] is in charge of this service center is not talking properly,the res ponce from him very poor, we never expect this kind of service from Onida.Your technician visit my home and see the problem and he told me we replace your TV and our vehicle come to your house and collect your TV and we give fresh piece from our go down in 4 days, and also tell me you please not down the cassis no. if you have some doubt about replacement,we agree with him after few minute they tell me my boss says that we not replace the tv.WHY???.it is a manufacturing defect and TV is in under the warranty.The technical is agree in replacement but his boss says no.WHY????
            Pleae give me some positive answers and take some action on service centre.

            I am happy to see this site since i was doing some survey to buy a onida 40 inch led tv. it was an eye opener and decided not to buy any onida products in my life time, , also i am surprised that the onida customer care is not bothered by these facts. i suggest noting down the complaint numbers and sue the onida in consumer court if the product is not satisfactory. Also give it wide publicity through sites such as face book, orkut etc..

            i have purchased an onida tv from navrang audio video pvt. ltd. d-10 vikas marg laxmi nagar delhi 92 my tv is in guarantee period and i have complained in service centre for the problem regarding of my tv but there is no response from service centre they said i can't do any thing in it since last one month .

            I have inform service center 2 or 3 time repaired but after some days this type problem again & again and service center manger closed call without any visit and corporate office is not giving me any response.

            I have purchased a Onida Microwave in Hyderabad, For the installation and Demo, i have contacted Customer Care multiple times but no one has come for 4 days.

            Also, the way customer care people talk, i mean their communication skills were just ridiculous.
            There is no value for these forum and your verdicts. so why you people also exist on line and give some verdict based on the proofs and ultimately these corporate "ONIDA" MIRC Electronics do not respect to you also. ONIDA MIRC Electronics still continuing with advertisement stating theirs is the best sound system in earth to envy and every day they cheat millions of INDIAN citizen.
            Out of those very few only come to you because only smart people will have records and proofs.
            even with these pictures and documents we are not able to get justice.
            Justice delayed is justice denied . that is what this forum is also doing gave a justice which you are not able to execute. Like supreme court gave a verdict to release water from Karnataka . but MR.SM KRISHNA ( whose son is indulged in a scam recently i read in the news paper) did not obey supreme court verdict and there was no action on a Chief Minister not obeying the ultimate authority's verdict of this country and all these forums and supreme power of this country only arm twist the poor and middle class who still obeying these authorities. .

                Hi Friends,

                I am from Vijayawada, AP. I request all the people to not to make any purchases of Onida Products. I purchased a DVD worth Rs.3000/- six months back. The DVD stops functioning and the it is displaying 'No Disc' if we placed the disc also. This problem I faced after 4 months from When I purchased the DVD. And the Onida Service Center is the worst one I came across these days. the people there are very irresponsible and very irritating.

                  My tv got witnessed to lightning on last October. So as its power supply doesn't work. For that complaint i have given it to the service center on October itself. But still they are saying that they are waiting for a parts. i dont know when will be it finish.

                  Because of fault in my TV. I placed my complaint to KANCHIPURAM ONIDA SERVICE CENTRE on 16.05.2009. Even I intimated to Head Office at Chennai Onida Service Centre there also no response. I remainded once again on 03.06.2009 to Kanchipuram Onida service centre Service Engineer came on 04.06.2009 he said I will be coming on 06.06.2009 but so far nobody came or contact me.

                  I trust you as head office of ONIDA SERVICE CENTRE and take necessary action else return my money and cancel AMC

                  I agree with you. They are very worst in service. Their e-mail IDs ahown in their website also not correct and bounced!
                  I purchased on ONIDA DVD (DIGITAL VERSATILE DICK) PLAYER, MODEL DFX 2000 and was not functioning - not played and got information "No Dick-Load a dick". I tried with all sort of Dicks and disconnected the connection and reconnected properly, but the same message was only displayed.
                  I fed up to contact their serice personnel finally. One technicaian, authororised by ONIDA from ADONIS Electronics Pvt.Ltd. visited my home and repaired with in half an hour and and charged for pure labour charges of Rs.1620/=(not even fixed a new screw)!. It is half of the price of new ONIDA DVD Player!
                  What to do? We have to live like this only in India. This is our fate!

                  On October 2009 I bought one Onida CTV from Next Retail India Pvt
                  Ltd(Vennala-cochin out let), but the same got some compliant on 17th May
                  2010. I had already informed your service centre several times and a
                  compliant was registered on 18/05/2010 (Compliant No[protected]). Your
                  Technician came for service and informed that some component got damaged and
                  within three four days time the same will be replaced. But so far they
                  have neither come nor rectified the problem. Every day Iam contacting your
                  service Centre and every time the answer is “spare is not available”. I
                  have tried to contact your Service Head Mr.Kurup, but that was also in vain
                  as he never attended my phone.
                  Now I request you to take my call in a positive way failing and which I will
                  be forced to approach ConsumerCourt.

                  This is with regard to my ONIDA KY Thunder TV repairs ( for white line appears while operating) attending by their service engineers . I contacted toll free of ONIDA and lodged my complaint. After 15 days of my complaint a person visited and informed that the repair can do only at service centre and taken the main board in the month of April, 10. Later after one month he will come with board fixed it and claimed for Rs.900/-. Again immediately after a day it was completely gone off. On our next complaint again the same technician visited and taken the board for getting it repaired. After one month he came with board and fixed it and charged for Rs.900/- again. But this time after one week it was again gone off. The age of the TV is less than 36 months. All these problems are facing by the customers only due to inefficient technicians engaged by the ONIDA which costs its reputation. Now after incurring Rs.2000/- no repairs were undertaken by ONIDA and now I am giving 24 Hrs.time to the technician to rectify the repairs, lest I am going to lodge a police complaint due to improper handling and changed my new TV board which leads to non-functioning of my TV.

                  I had purchased Onida Igo 21" TV [model 103] 6 years back and some how the remote is lost. I went to get a new one from your auth. service centre at Zoo Road[Near Guwahati Commerce College]Guwahati. They charged me Rs. 400/ and had given me the memo and the remote in packed condition.Since they are Auth. dealer I Trusted that I have got the original remote, I did not unpacked the remote and taken to home. Surprisingly I found that the remote handed over to me was a cheap non branded one and that also did not worked in my Onida Igo TV [Model-103].Next day I went to return the same but the person straightway denied to return the same stating that the said remote was not given to me.
                  I know I can not claim becuse I trusted your Authorised dealer and cheated as I did'nt checked the remote on delivery. Its O.K.
                  ONIDA is a very renowened and time proof name in the world of TV and other appliances. I have lost only Rs. 400/ but you will suffer loss of your hard earned good will, only because of some of dishonest staff If this practise is on . Request you to look into the matter.

                  For the last ten years I have been a permanent and stable customer of ONIDA products. I firmly believed that the ONIDA products are the first and the best in the field of electronics I thought that your goods are reliable and hence I was in close contact with them.
                  But unfortunately, may I express an experience which I had to face in the last
                  years, which lessen my faith up in your products. In 30.05.2002 I purchased a KYThuder
                  T V from your authorized dealer VIEW PIONT at Adoor, Pathnamthitta district in Kerala.With in these ten years I had to repair twice (28.05.2011 & 05.07.2011) by your authorized service personals Adonis Electronics Pvt Ltd, Kottayam. But still the T.V is out o[censored]se and out of condition. In each repair the defects and the problem increased. Any how I had to spend thousands of rupees (Rs 1450/- & Rs 1130/-) but the problem of TV persists.
                  From my experience I really want to know that the stability and durability of your products are so less. If it is so it will create confusion among the consumers. The reliability and the goodwill which you have created among customers is being decreasing
                  by such incidents. It will create financial problems to consumers, and affect your reliability.

                  Sir i am Anita Khanna & i bought a new 1.5 ton split ONIDA AC model TRACY in MARCH-2012. At the time of purchase the dealer M/s Nadra Electronics, Kapurthala, Distt. Punjab told me that in this AC thier is a special feature of turn on the AC with the help of Mobile set SMS method, but the dealer has not provided the company made handset at the time of delivery. Now the dealer is demanding extra cost of Rs. 2000/- for this handset and this special feture is not wkg in my AC presently. Kindly intimate us whether this mobile handset is a part of this split AC model or we have to buy by paying extra money to purchase this to activate the feature " SMS GONE AC ON".

                  Sir, I have been using the products of your company for the last 17 yrs. First of it an onida tv which I purchased from Batala about 17 yrs back and it is still giving it's performance to my satisfaction.


                  Sir, my motive in scribbling a few lines to your goodself is that my lcd went out of order. my complaint was put online ( complaint no.[protected] dt. 28/ 05/12). The visit of service engineer, Mr.Mukhwinder singh, to my residence lets me know that some card of my lcd has gone out of order and it would cost me about Rs7000/-(seven thousand) for the same. Sir, could u kindly let me know why should I pay for the same? Does that mean that the valuable standard products of ONIDA (a household name) should just deliver for 2 yrs which in my opinion is like playing fool with the consumers. There is a possibility that the card was sub-standard or else why should THE ONIDA STANDARD JUST DELIVER FOR 2 YRS?
                  If yes, then my head should hang in shame and if not, then I should be entitled to let my lcd be brought in good order without any monitary loss/inconvenience to me for which I would stand extremely grateful to your goodself for doing the needful. Needless to explain the mental dissatisfaction my family has passed through just for no fault at our end.

                    6)Service engineer visited on 27th june and rectified the efect.The replaced T.V started giving trouble .Picture got elongated both ways, horizontally & vertically.
                    7)Service Engineer visted on 25th &28th July but failed to rectify the defect.
                    8) contacted Brijesh Shukla and Williams Sales Executives of Onida Delhi office for replacement but both informed that no replacemt is available any where in India.They promised to refund the cost of the T.V.

                    I completely agree with you on this TV. Even i brough 29 Truslim in bangalore during nov 08. From the begining even if the TV is switched off it use to make conitnous noise for hours, after several compalints & visits Onidia agreed it as a manufacturing defect. During march 09 i got a new set replaced by onida, now it is july this new piece has some problems from yesterday. the commonds from remote is tottaly not matching with the actions of TV, even if we use the mannual buttons on TV it behaves crazy. It looks it has some serious software problem. It looks this is a complete flop model & has problems through out india.
                    Pleas let us know if you need any evidence for the same at delhi consumer court.
                    Also onida has chceated the customer by selling it as a 29 incgh TV where as it is less. I think onida should honesly recall this TV & Pay back money to the consumers.I request you to Please raise this at conumer court

                    I bought a Onida 29" TruSlim too. The TV has been sitting in a corner as a paperweight for more than a year now. The picture quality is BAD... images get distorted on the sides, when there is a white area in the picture, that area comes with disturbance lines, and gets extended over the surrounding areas.
                    The Component In port never worked. I had to use the AV in port for playing my DVD.

                    Even I am agree with you all regarding the poor quality of Onida products.. I too purchased Onida 29" TruSLIM 1 year 10 months back but it started giving problem since warranty period.

                          Lucknow Branch of Onida Washing machine is not responding its telephone. For last 24 days I have been trying to complaint on phone. Out of two telephone nos. one remains busy and other is not responding. Only mechanic is responding on his mobile. But no avail. He is not helpful. He says store is not issuing material for replacement/repair. He dismandled my washing maching on 18.9.2008. Only he talks on his mobile.He has not turned up till date. Facing great in convenience. How Onida washing maching is going to help me. He has charged me Rs.250/- for service charges and has dismantled my machine. Shall I take shelter of Consumer Forum for defficiency in service ?

                            From past one month Our Washing Machine has stopped working. We have regularly complaint about it to authorised Onida Service Centre every alternate day. But till today none of their service engineer has visited and has been giving ridiculous excuses.

                              One thing I make clear to you that, I am tatally FOOLED by buying your ONIDA PRODUCT. Still now I have not received the remote control for my AC UNIT..

                              Anyhow, this will be a final reminder and request to you that I wanted my Remote Handset and also the subsequent Services for my AC Unit has to be done only by ONIDA representatives. I will wait for another couple of days for this. So please comeout with proper solutions for my problems.                                 The service is extremely pathetic and hopeless. Our TV was given to the Onida service center by contacting the number 26577409, which is the number for the Basavanagudi branch. We called on 2/6/08 at 12:15 PM for service and Mr.Murali came and attended to this on 3/6/08 at 2:30 PM. The PCB of our Television was taken to the center on 4/6/08 at 4:30 PM. It has taken almost 2.5 months until now and we have tried calling around more than 50 times these days and were able to catch hold of them only 5 times. All these times when we spoke to the engineers, we were given different other reasons about the delay and showed as if they have kept the board in front and are starting the repair immediately, while we are on call. But I know it was a bluff to customers who are the sole reason for the company to exist (shameless isn't it???). I spoke to an agent who called me on 11th august in the afternoon. I enquired about the delay and he said different other reasons to me. I told him that it is the responsibility of the engineers and the management to take care of internal issues and not bring it to customers as we don’t have any proof of what he tells. He said he would call me the same day to commit the delivery date, but no follow-ups from him what-so-ever on that day. I called them today, 12 August but no one picks up the call. I have also spoken to the manager of the branch, Shridhar, who committed the same thing to me. This person had committed to us a week ago about the TV being delivered to my place in a week, but no response. This is the worse than worst possible service I have ever seen in my lifetime. I have also faced the same issue when I bought the TV; there was a great delay in the delivery. They are never stuck to their commitments. I will email all my friends and colleagues who make up strength of around more than 500 people recommending them never to buy any Onida products and describe my experience about this company and its service. Not just this, I will also request them to circulate the email so that as many people as possible come to know about this and be aware about this pathetic company. I believe that customers don’t have an option to escalate issues, and this might be the reason for the existence of such irresponsible technicians in the company. I wonder who is recruiting these lazy people. I am extremely fed up of this company and will aim to spoil the name of this company as much as possible through forums and blogs and see to that this company gets a bad name in the next few years. If there is still some shame left, then respectfully email me ASAP at [protected]@yahoo.com and I will think whether I must proceed further with this. The time limit is one-week max. If I don’t hear from a higher-up who can speak proper language, then I will do what I was proceeding with and I AM DEAD SERIOUS!!!

                                I agree, their product as well as their sevice is really horrible. In my opinion no body should buy ONIDA product. This product is "OWNER'S ENEMY NEIGHBOUR'S PRIDE" and not "NEIGHBOUR'S ENVY OWNER'S PRIDE". we should take up at the heighest level.

                                I bought ONIDA TV (Oxygen Thunder 29" Model) some 2 years back from their authorised dealer M/S Sant Sales, Arya Nagar, Jwalapur, Haridwar. My TV went out of order and I lodged the complaint about it with the dealer on 08-02-09. Firstly, the response of the dealer was very cold and I was intimated that the man for attending to this problem will come from Dehradun in 1 or 2 days time. Secondly, the service engineer came to check the TV in the evening of 09-02-09 and intimated that the defected components are not available with him and he will arrange it from Dehradun in 2-3 days.
                                My TV problem still remains unattended as on 09-03-09, even after a lot of chase from my side.
                                It gives me a lot of pain when I recall that I bought ONIDA TV just by seeing a fake advertisement, (NEIGHBOUR'S ENVY OWNER'S PRIDE), because I feel that this TV has been assembled using the cheap/duplicate quality components (may be from china) due to which it has gone out of order in such a short span, as compared to the performance of TVs of other makes, which are giving excellent performance since long.

                                I have an ONIDA colour TV. It has passed 05 years & TV was working in ok condition but from last 02 to 03 months It has been showing problems with its colour. The colours are not reflecting on any of its as if it is a black & white tv & not a colour television.

                                I am having a Onida KY Unique collection model purchased in 1998.Due to some problem it went off on 18th Jan.2010.I lodged the complaint with Onida service station on 19th 2010 .The service enginer attended the call on 20th and taken Main board stating problem in tranformer and capacitor and assured to written withing 2 to 3 days . On calling to their service centre the service engineer will not be available or if available doing my job only and reply within 2-3 hour. No reply from service centre or engineer is received till date regarding the work . No any status is intimated to the customer from service centre or engineer.

                                Yes. This can happen with onida service centers.I have also such type experience.My complaint was not attended for one week. They don't care about customers. Onida TV is good but the service is bad.
                                I have a Onida 32 KY Diamond Rock 1000 Wat PMPO Full HD LCD, I bought it in mid Dec 2010 in Bangalore, The First day it self there was humming noise coming from TV and I raised complaint about it. The service engineer came and he chopped off one wire from the circuit and after that the noise vanished, but I found one more thing, that the display panel gets to much heated if we use it for 3-4 hours continuously.

                                They say that is is normal in all LCD tvs and they can not do any thing to stop heat.

                                I feel that the TV may become unwatchable due to Dead Pixels after year or so if the heat continues like this.

                                Does any one experienced such a thing, I feel like I have a time bomb inside my house which can explode at any moment. :(

                                As of now the TV is in good condition. Will the company replaces the TV in such case witing warrenty period?

                                  With an impression of “Owner’s Pride” I purchased an Onida TV (Model C021BL DUA) and a DVD player just 3 years back. Within one year, the remote controller of DVD became out of order and I had to go for a duplicate from the local market. Now the remote of TV is not working. Your authorized dealer at Malappuram (Messenger Electronics, Tel:[protected] repaired the PCB (Job No. 1211) but the problem still remains. (The problem is not of remote, but the TV device that receiving the signal from remote is not working, which the Service Centre could not trace out). I do not know where to go now!! Now I am “envy on neighbour’s Kelvinator”. YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THAT A CUSTOMER’S REMARK IS THOUSANDS TIME EFFECTUAL THAN LAKHS OF ADVERTISEMENTS. (Original Onida Remote Controller must be available in the market, as remote controller is an inevitable part).

                                    I ( Vineet Verma ) Bought a ONIDA Microwave Oven Few Months Back Whwn I was Cooking Non Veg In Oven It Caught Fire & instant I switched Off Oven. But One Part Of Oven Destoyed. I filed a complaint on Coustmer Care On This No.[protected]. i also called Mr. Ram Who Is A Senior In Onida As i Was Told By Coustmer Care. After Two Complaints. 2 Boy from ONIDA Came to My Home OPen that Part ANd said to us it will be fitted a new part instead of old n hardly it will Take a 4 or 5 days . but 2day it has been 45 days & i also called them so many times but they always say it will be fitted tomorow but their tomorow is not coming.
                                    They always say the parts are coming but they dont bother ordering or following up. The customer is the biggest loser with Onida. They want us to buy and forget about any service or repair. After one month, I am still waiting for a transformer. No-one should waste their money on Onida.

                                      I purchased ONIDA LCD TV 32 inches some 14 months back. A day back when I switched on TV, nothing is coming on screen and it doesn't either to remote or any controls on the panel. I am totally surprised by this problem, as my average viewing time is 2 hrs a day as I dont have cable connection.
                                      I use either DVD player or DELL laptop connected to my TV for viewing movies.

                                      Surprising thing is this problem occured soon after the warranty( 1 year) expired. Saddest thing is I paid Rs.45, 000 (INR) a year back. I lodged a complaint with ONIDA service center but there is no response until now. Does any body have similar problem with ONDIA LCD TVs (Lexini series)??

                                      Onida TV - Black — screen not visible, service center people not responding properly

                                      Hello,

                                      I had logged a complaint on 6th of sep 2008 with complaint no as 0179 about the the screen not visible, then after a week a technician comes and opens up the tv set. He is not able to rectify the TV n promises to come the next day with the required tv part.
                                      So the next day no one comes, and i[censored] call the service center, these people do not have any idea about the complaint n what is the progress about it. i[censored] call then daily also they are not able to tell you what is the status of the complaint.
                                      If you speak with the service center in charge he is arrogant enough to talk to you.
                                      Kindly tell what i need to do further for this.

                                      even I have the same problem I purchased Onida Lexini 32 inch last july and a three days back the picture is not visible and a white screen comes. The technicians came and inspected the set and told that the panel board has to be changed which will cost 80% of the price of the TV. I bought the TV for 45, 000 INR.                                       Onida 32 " LCD — LCD Panel not working

                                      I have purchased Onida 32" lCD in sep 2008. Aftert 5 moths of purcase it stopped working abruptly. There is no display. It is not responding to the commands neither from the tv nor from remote. When i tool it ot eh service enter they said the LCD panel needs to eb changed and it costs 21 K + taxes + service charge. I sparley use the tv as me and my wife both are working and we even dont have cable connection. I have spent 45 K to buy this and now it is costing me another 21grand. I have also seena lot of complaints for the sameproduct. can some one take some action regarding this. We can apply pressure on the company to give extended warrenty.

                                      I have been reading many such problem from various sources, my neighbor also bought an Onida LCD TV and the next day had problem with tv function going haywire, he asked since I am a technical person. I asked him to go for some other brand.

                                      My Analise is as follows on the Onida LCD TV.

                                      1. Major problem with their "power supply design", their is huge amount of power that is required to supply power to the LEDs which are for backlighting the LCD, if the supply goes wrong the LEDs will burnout, so you may have to replace the LCD panel.

                                      2. The microcontroler which is the brain of the system goes nuts many times so it starts function with its mind of its own and does not response to remote or keys, you have to manually reset the power.

                                      Onida has very serious technical and quality problem to solve and Onida is no more a owners pride.

                                      We need to group together and take them to consumer court.

                                      I purchase the tv on 19/08/08 from Pankaj Electronics, Hanumanth nagar. When i purchasing the tv i said to seller that i dont want demo tv since he had only one piece. He assured me to give box piece with free home delivery but it should procured from godown which is lying at sidhaiah road around 8 kms. After an hour i got call call from a driver asking the landmarks to come my home and he told me he is in godown .I surprice the no he called is of seller show room no and i confermed he was kind of cheater. After i recieved the tv i found many scraches on it and also on subwoofer system. sellers answer for this was onida company DISRTIBUTER sending the tv with improper packing.

                                      on30/08/09 my tv picture were blurred and lines started to came up. i called onida authorised center but sunday they were not working . my warranty period lapsed and since they were off i gave the tv to neerby technician. he inspected and told lot of the tv had problem that needs tobe replace . he repaired the tv in one day and deliverd to home with minimum charges.

                                      my question to onida company is

                                      1. actually we had been used onida ky previously from past 13 years with excellent performance. considering that i went to onida again. but this tv not lasted good even for more than a year.technician says it is common problem in onida.

                                      2. On 31/08/09 when i cleaning the subwoofer first time and came a surprice . I opened the woofers to check any entry of cockroach and found one of the wofer cone damage and liquid aplied and on back side written damaged. How come these thing in brand new tv?
                                      I gave to the technician to repair without subwoofer system.

                                      Iost the reliability on the product and iam also using oven from samsung and washing machine from lg they are still working superb

                                      I too agree with all the 32' LCD TV owners. I had purchased on 10th Oct.2008.Six months it worked fine but from May'2009 I am facing continously almost every week problem.I have also noted the complaints no & date too.The engineer comes the next day & solves the problem but to visit again within the week.
                                      They have replaced the power panel but without any improvement.I had also spoken twice to Mr.Ashok (Tel:[protected]) - Head of LCD TV for replacement but came out only with the assurance of clearing all the problems.I have also reported the problem with SONY MONY (Dealer) - Andheri Branch, Mumbai with Mr. Ali but only to know that i have to speak with Mr. Ashok. Now since the warranty period is also coming to end & knowing that their per visit charges are minimum of Rs.1500/- + other parts replacement charges i don't know what is tobe done?
                                      I am totally tired following with these guys.The service centre is also not in the name of ONIDA brand, it is know as Adonis service ..I want to know why Onida is wasting money & saving o[censored]s when they cannot make a good product.Now not money we are feeling mentally tortured & harassed too.I would request to Pl show me the way.
                                      Complaint against Onida washing machine

                                      I have purchased Onida Washing machine fully automatic (Hydromatic 60 FP/FS) from M/S Mangal & Mangal Limited, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, on 04.05.08.
                                      Before one year from the date of purchase, it has created lot of noise while draining out. Then I made a complaint with the service Centre at Trichy. Complaint No.189 of 11.02.09. They have taken more than 10 days to attend the same. But even after attention, the heavy noise is still continuing.

                                      Again on 05.11.09, the water was not draining out from the machine. Complaint was made to the Service Centre at Trichy. (Complaint No.81 of 05.11.09). Even After twenty days, they are telling that some spare parts are yet to be received from Bombay. I am not sure whether the technicians at Trichy Service Centres are not having sufficient technical knowledge or it is due to the poor quality of Onida washing machine.

                                      We are facing much difficulty without the washing machine that too we are residing in a flat. Nearly 178 houses are there in our flat and now they come to know about the poor quality of washing machine and definitely they will not go for purchase of Onida washing machine.

                                      My hard earned money is wasted by having purchased Onida Washing machine and lot of physical strain is faced by us.

                                      ONIDA/LCD TV — RECURRENT DEFAULT

                                      I purchased onida lcd xaria in jan 2008.twice during warranty period it just went dead .we were reasurred the problem wont recur.however on 30/11/09 again the same problem was encountered and since it was out of warranty i had to pay 8000 rs for part replacement.to my horror today ie 25/1/10 the tv again blanked out.it is quite obvious the defect is recurrent since purchase, but should the consumer pay for no fault of his?.i would strongly advise against purchasing onida lcd .obviously there is no quality check or a responsible authority to correct the situation.

                                      I completely agree with you. Around same time I also bought a 32" TV of Onida, and the same problem. The service engineer who visited took 500Rs from me and said that if he does from the company side, it will cost me more. But the sad part is, this is a default problem in that model Tv's which was launched that time, and he himself told me this. The only way was either to change the power board at a cost of 3kplus or to go for an AMC with 4kplus. It was sheer black mail, I have left it that way and am not using that TV, which is nothing more than a paper weight. It is better to go in for Sony or Samsung at a little cost more, as you rightly said, these guys dont even breath, forget about responding to our problems.                                       I purchased ONIDA LCD TV 32 plus inches dated 22-10-10 .when we start TV the chennel Automatic start.
                                      nothing shown in screen
                                      when we purchage TV with BIG TV. yet now we did not get.
                                      if we are going on dealer that time he tell to us .we con not do.
                                      I am totally surprised by this problem, as my average viewing time is 4 hrs a day.
                                      Please do something.

                                      i purchased one onida xaria 22inch lcd tv on 11/02/2010 from the dealer ghosh brothers located at guwahati, assam. But after six months my tv remote is not working properly, then i made a complain to the dealer as well as service center at guwahati, having the complain no. F/10/449.But today is 17th of february 2011 till now i m not getting any response from them, i have spent my valuable time by going over there more than 100 times, but each and every day the service enginier(Abhijit Majumdar) telling to me within seven days we will do some thing, but lots of sevendays has passed out but no response has came out. I have already lost my faith on onida company service center, they are very worst. so, sir as per being the higher authority you please suggest me what to do? If you are not able to take any action then allow me to return your onida company tv so, i can purchase a good company tv, having a good service. (

                                      I too am victim of Ondia's horrible product. I had bought Onida Xaria 32 inches. Just as one year warratny was over my power panel got problems. The site engineer replaced the power chip for 3000 Rs unofficially. The company asked 10000Rs for the same repalcement. It worked for another year after this replacement. But now, I have a problem that the volume control automatically goes to 100% and then all remote and panel stops working. I have to reset the TV from the mains connections. I am not sure if I keep doing this how long the TV will last... But I have no choice... I was trying to find solution to this problem online and reached this forum. Looks like many others are facing same issue with TV control including volume control. Please let me know if anybody has found solution of the same. I am open to take these Onida people to consumer court.. Let me know if any progress has been regarding this issue. With Rgeards,

                                      I am worried about LCD, My another onida general old model TV Running ok, But Now my 56cms TFT LCD MOdel no. LO22VTSBL 415764 How Much Expence Will be for this . We have low capability of mony, We dont get any disply in my TV .
                                      I am from Chennai and I am writing this regarding a Microwave Oven purchased from Jayam & Co in August 2011. In early January we had a problem with the oven. The food items were not getting heated. Hence I placed a complaint over phone on 17.01.2012 and the complaint no. initially allotted was [protected]. Technician came and said 'magnetron' has to be replaced. But no response thereafter. Complained again and was allotted a new number [protected]. But after this there was no response at all. Nobody called, nobody came. I kept on calling for the last two weeks, but got a standard reply that parts have to come from Delhi/Mumbai. This is not a response to be given to a customer in a Metropolitan city! Does it take a month to receive parts from your factory? Its really atrocious!

                                      I am really very very annoyed with ONIDA's after sales support. I am not at all satisfied with ONIDA products and will never buy nor recommend anyone to buy ONIDA products!
