Last year I bought 2 ONIDA split AC 1.5T from Amudha & Co, Tambaram Chennai. They said technician from company [ONIDA] will come and install the units. As they said, people came and installed it. After a year, one AC was not cooling at all and water was leaking from other too. I made complaints so many times and no turned out. Finally [after 1 month], technicians came and told me that units were NOT installed by company[ONIDA]. He told that it was given to the dealer's responsibility last year. And it required GAS filling costing 2600. Finally, I ended up in getting AMC cositng Rs.2000 for each. After 2 months now it is not at all cooling. I am trying to reach them to raise a complaints. But they are not reachable. Please help me to solve this issue.

    Dear Sir,

    RE: SUBSTANDARD PRODUCTS BEING SUPPLIED BY ONIDA
    ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬...

    I had purchase ONDIA 1.5TON WINDOW AC from M/s Kohli Digital Home, 13-14 sanjay gandhi market, jalandhar vide bill no. 8 dt. 29/6/07.S.L NO. WO180607AROO3223

    The Problems in the AC began from the very next day of the installation.

    The GAS in the AC leaked, and when contacted ; the engineers from the ONIDA SERVICE CENTRE visited after a couple of days to rectify the problems and refill the gas.
    But to my surprise, the AC GAS leaked again within a span of 8-10 hours. Repeated request to the service centre finally had the engineers visit again after a span of 7 days to rectify the problem and change a few pipes and thus assuring that this problem would not occur in future again.

    SUBSTANDARD PRODUCTS WILL REMAIN A SUBSTANDARD PRODUCTS ALWAYS IS WHAT I CAME TO KNOW WHEN THE AC GAS LEAKED AGAIN WITHIN 24 HOURS.

    Repeated requests for 25 days finally had the engineers at my door steps to rectify the fault. Whereas I was adamant to get this unit replaced 'cause it was but obvious that the AC had a major manufacturing defect and would cause the problems at the later stages. But that was not to be .The Dealer and the co. people kept on buying time by giving false assurances.

    The 2007 season ended in all these hush mush with me paying for the visits of the engineers . The 2008 season saw low cooling of the AC and huge electricity bills due to this SUBSTANDARD PRODUCT. The warranty period finally was over and the dealer and the co. finally had relief on their faces.

    And now again the AC is back with the same old problem, the GAS LEAKAGE. Repeated requests Vide complaint nos. 82061 dt. 19/5/09 and complaint no. 2998 dt. 29/5/09 finally had the engineer after 10 days after repeated persual at the HELP CENTRE '' ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD, JAWWADI ROAD, MODEL TOWN EXTN, LUDHIANA.

    The Person who visited the site on 31st of may 2009, found the problem from the same old point in the AC, from the place it was rectified earlier.

    But now the scene has changed, and the ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD, is demanding money for rectifying the fault., as they say that the unit is out of warranty .

    BUT IS IT JUSTIFIED????????

    Telephonic talk with Mr. NARESH[protected] & MR. SANDEEP ([protected]), made me feel as if BUYING AN ONIDA AC WAS THE BIGGEST FAULT OF MY LIFE AND THE CONSUMERS ARE THE MOST VULNERABLE AND DOWNTRODDEN PEOPLE ON THE EARTH.
    THESE TWO REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD. LUDHIANA NEED TO HAVE A SERIOUS TRAINING OVER THEIR LANGUAGE CONTROL, 'CAUSE SUCH HARSH AND LOOSE CHOICE OF WORDS BY THEM IS HAMPERING THE IMAGE OF THE ONIDA COMPANY.

    I hope this matter shall be sorted out by the company as the earliers, 'cause the next step would be to take the matter to the CONSUMER COURTS, THE LEADING DAILY NEWPAPERS, A CAMPAINGN ON THE NET WARNING PEOPLE NOT TO BUY A ONIDA PRODUCT .

      The above complain are their in our record there will be more then this.

      Frequently fault arising in your product, we where forced to enter in the Contact Agreement. But this time your company has stopped contract agreement system. (Contract Agreement was from 24.05.2007 to 23.05.2009) In absence of contract agreement, considering above complains I would have paid half time of TV cost for the repairing only.



      At present my TV and your product is not working what to do now?

      In past I have corresponded to your representative Ms. Mona (Mumbai Office) to replace this defective TV with new one but any action was not taken from your Mumabi office. Your ONIDA vADODARA service representatives are also fed-up & they have inform that this is be faulty piece & their Quality control department has deviated their norms... While the visit they have inform that there might be spark problem in the Picture tube / Yoke problem / Once after so many visit we have requested to resolve the problem & they have change the circuit board. But still the Breakdown story goes on... Still Live

      This time I am very fedup and last time I am mailing to your company for taking suitable action for replacing my defective TV with New piece immediately. Request to inform the address to dispatch this Faulty TV on Freight to pay Basis. Failing which, I will complain to CONSUMER FORUM .

      Unlimited complains from day one and regular of follow ups with M/s. ONIDA does not suits the Company and I personally dislike to use this kind of faulty product.

      My TV mother board was replaced giving an warranty of 1 year. within the warrant y period TV went of. Called service engineer, he told us that they are not responsible for warranty. How ever a transitor eas replaced, and charged Rs 635/- and told to contact Onida office. After repair of 3 months again TV went of. Service Nos are always engaged. It is difficult to get the service from Onida service centre. Please instruct to repair the TV. I am at Kandivili East. C-709, Shankar Enclave, Army Officers Housing society, Ashok Nagar kandivili east.
      TV not turning on .we have not got any response to our complaint.

        my colour tv, Onida KY THUNDER UNIQUE collection is having some problem with screen. After working some time, screen become blank and a colour line is showing.
        The TV was switched off and unpluged before I went to native place. And after 10 days I came back. then i felt this problem.
        I am using SUN Direct Dish connection. I tried with other alternative by starting DVD player. Then also the same problem in screen.
        I am staying in Silvassa, UT. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
        I purchased the TV from Mili Electronics, the authorised dealer of Onida.

          I, Mr. Mohit, bought new Onida company A.C. 1.5 tone
          from M/s Paul & Company, Near SBI, RAilway Road, Tohana
          Distt- Fatehabad ( Haryana)125120., TIN NO-[protected].

          New A.C. does not work properly they donot gave cooling, when i said to the shopkeeper he angry on me, abusing me, and he said what i do for this, So i request you to Please take action on it or change my A.C.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I have a 29" ONIDA Oxygen TV and has EWC till 2011 on the advise of service engineer. After so many calls for one week, finally customer care[protected] lifted the phone and gave me a complaint number for my TV problem. (Complaint Number #[protected]

            One of the engineers Sharma from ONIDA visited my house and he said its a small problem and he don't have parts and will take 3-4 days to get them and went away. After a couple of reminders and calls another service engineer Rajinikanth came with one transistor and replaced it and he saw the TV is not switched on. Then he said its a major problem and he don't know what the exact problem is and went away asking me to bring the TV to service center.

            I asked them to let me know what the exact issue is "may be LOT or picture tube" and he said he don't know thats the reason, he's asking to bring to service center. He's finally unable to find the root cause and left away.

            I don;t know how the ONIDA is recruiting and sending uneligible guys to service the TV which we buy with lot of money.

            NOTE : We have a similar ONIDA TV in vizianagaram and have LOT issue in the past and its easily found by service engineer and he replaced it. But I don;t know why ONIDA is not having such type of skilled persons who can isolate the issue and troubling consumers.

            Please do the needful.

            Sir,
            repaired my 29' posion ctv after he ched some sapre parts replaced and he charged given below.

            1.STR -- rs. Rs. 450
            2. vertical IC - Rs. 350
            3. Switch DC coil rs. 650

            Service charges Rs. 375 TOTAL Rs. 1825.

            picture is displaced extra zoom half of the scroll news is disappeared I asked why ? he said master IC is damaged for that he asked extra rs.1600. kindly let me know the actual spare aparts cost.

            I agree with your complaint and here is my story

            Yes the service engineers are not doing their job. I entered in to a extended warranty by paying Rs 2400 on the advise of a service engineer. He has given a printed ONIDA warranty card in whicg for 4 years extended warranty the amount payable is Rs 2400. By looking at that I have taken for 4 years extended warranty, by paying Rs 2400 and he has given a receipt for that.

            after 6 months another service engineer came and told that the warranty is only for 2 years, and the previous service engineer does not know about that,

            and these engineers are certified by ONIDA.

            The standard reputed company should not change the colors like this. They should have a standard agreement with the customers and a well defined policy. They should not play with the customers like this.

              Purchased Onida 1.5 Ton Window A.C., around 8 months before Dee Kay Electronics, Ghumar mandi, Ludhiana, Punjab. After the purchase soon Winters set in, didn't got much time to use. Now in the summers, The so called Onida "A.C" works for only 10 minutes at night. Wish to contact the Advertisement maker, who says, "A.C. is not an A.C. if does not Cools in 47 degrees, Buy Onida A.C". Want to ask did you tried it, u must have not. SHAME ON ONIDA.

              Called up customer complaint cell, guy came, told it is working fine, so chilling, that water is coming out of his eyes, this is what he said. FAKE !!

              Again called up on 8/6/09 at Adinos Service Centre at Ludhaina, gave complaint number 0917, No body came till date i.e 12/6/09

              My Recomendation:

                Onida/TV — Worst Customer Care

                Dear Sir,
                I have Onida T.V.and I was having trouble with Volume. Dec.28-07 bought warrenty till 2011. First time technition talk to me about buying warrenty which I did. May 12th/2009 I have same problem again I called the call centre they gave me complaint #[protected] Every day I phone the call center(
                telphone Cost Rs.12 ) Finally 19/09 I spoke to Mr. Prakash who is incharge of technitions. He promised it would be repaired next day. Every day some excuse (technition had a accident while travelling by train other tecnitions went with him) Finally technition came onMay23/09 @ 9.00 p.m.my set was taken by him to repair and he was supposed to bring the set back on 30th May WhenI phoned Mr. Prakash to day, my technition got sick to day and he is keeping the system. He will send an other technition to pick up from him. When I asked him about my wait since may 12th. He was very angry and i was disappointed to listen such arguement tone from him. ONIDA is a well known company I did not expect such poor customer service and I would not recommend to any one. Unless my set is fixedwell and running well.Kindly consider to fix my T.V. A.S.A.P

                I have onida 21 oxygen-200 colour TV. but some technicaly problems in this volume strength is not increase and channel strength is not increase.maximum volume strength is 12 and channel strength is 1-25 so please guide me otherwise pease write me mail what is the solution.

                I have an ONIDA 29 Oxygen for which I have EWC till 2011. I had a power problem in my TV and complained to the customer care with complaint number[protected]Customer care 66833000 took nearly one week to answer my call and give the complaint number). One of the engineers visited my house and he said its a small problem and he don't have parts and will take 3-4 days to get them and went away. After a couple of reminders and calls another service engineer came with one diode and replaced it and he saw the TV is not switched on. Then he said its a major problem and he don't know what the exact problem is and went away asking me to bring the TV to service center.

                I really can't understand howcome ONIDA is having this type of ineligible service engineers. and worst service.

                    Dear sir,

                    I had bought a 1.5 ton ac onida split ac MODEL s[protected]from rathna cools pvt ltd vide invoice no 5342 dated 30.04.2009 and after chasing the company installation team several times then the team installed my ac on 04.05.2009 5.pm .the ac was wrongly installed resulting not cooled properly, after severel complaints and phone calls, THEY WILL NOT RESPONSE AND saying our service person will come before 5 pm on everyday .it is huge amount of waste which pours out of the a/c during the summer seasson .
                    hence my request you to please attend it someone rectify my AC or else replace it with a new a/c

                        This is David from chennai. we purchased a Onida television with a 5 year guarantee, but we see that often the TV gets repaired. When we call the onida customer care, there is no response, if there is a response too the time taken to rectify the issue is around 10 days. This is really bad considering the reputation the company has. I have decided not to purchase any onida items hereafter. The customer care is zero and even negative. If there is no response from a customer care company then that is not a customer care anymore. I request the concerned to take a strong action in this regard. The customer feels cheated with these kind of a response.

                        onida 29 " oxygen — tv not working

                        It has been brought to you notice that I made a complaint on 25th July, 09. On complaining I specifically informed that I will be out of town and will be back only on 31st July 09. But Friday no body turned up. Again I called up to customer on 1st August, 2009 (customer care No.[protected]) I was told that by eveing the problem will be sorted out. But nobody turned on that day. Again I called up Elaimvazhudi (his mobile no. [protected]) and explained the above facts to him. He gave me another no. of service engineer ( [protected]), When I called up he said i visisted and found the door locked. He argues much. Again I spoke to Mr. Elaimvazhudi who in turn put conferance call and instructed the engineer to and attend the fault. Accordingly he came on 4th August, 09 and told that need to change two spares, which will be brought by him after two days. However till afternoon no body turned up again i called up the engineer in turn he told me that he will come only on wednesday 12/8/09. It is vey embarrassing that the complaint is not yet attended though I have invested in purchasing ONIDA Brand in faith.

                            With due respect I want to complain against Rg’s AirConditioning, D-2, Taksh Complex, Gotri Road, Vadodara, Tel.:[protected], M.: [protected].

                            I bought a new Onida Split AC on May 3, 2009 from Rg’s AirConditioning. Since beginning I am complaining Mr. Gautam Malwade & Mrs. Malwade, the owners of Rg’s AirConditioning.

                            First Problem: It was installed on May 4, 2009 and on May 13, 2009 I informed Rg’s that the AC is not performing at all. They told me the problem would be solved by two days but it could not happen. Whenever I called them they promised me that the AC would be rectified within few hours. Ultimately it was rectified on May 18, 2009.

                            Second Problem: Please see the below mail for the problem:

I also informed you that my new split AC is not working at all and the same was informed to Rg’s on Saturday i.e on 23.05.2009. They told me that the problem would be solved by Monday i.e. on 25.05.2009.

                            I contacted Mrs. Malwade at around 12.30 PM on 25.05.2009 requesting her to solve the problem and she assured me it would solved by afternoon on that day. I again contacted her at around 4.30 PM and she again assured me. Even I contacted at 7.30 PM and she repeatedly assured me it would be done by Monday only. At about 9.30 I talked to Mr. Malwade and he told me that he is sorry because he could not attend the problem. Furthermore he told me that it would be done by 10.00-10.30 AM on Tuesday i.e. on 26.05.2009.

                            When I contacted Mr.Malwade on Tuesday at about 11.00 AM he told me that he could not assure when the problem would be solved and he disconnected the phone.

                            Immediately I contacted you and informed about the problem and you told me that it would be completed by evening. Somebody from Rg’s came at about 11.15 AM to inspect the problem but he did not solve the problem even though I specifically complained about the gas-leakage from AC. I again contacted you in the evening on Tuesday. You literally promised me it should be rectified by 11.00 AM on 27.05.2009 and if it is not done then I should inform you by 11.00 AM. Unfortunately, I am ringing you repeatedly but you are not picking up the phone.

                            Please note that the same problem came before and I informed Rg’s on 13.05.2009. They solved the problem on 18.05.2009. It can be noted that for the 1st problem they had given me commitment for about 8-10 times but every time they failed, except the last one. I also called Rg’s about 10-15 times and they disconnected the phone call that time also.

                            Now the time is around 12.30 PM. but nobody came from Rg's and I am ringing you continuously. Even though your mobile is ringing but you are not picking the phone due to obvious reason.

                                  I am using ONIDA DVD (DFX-5100). Since last two years I have used only few times and got repair (NO DISK) twice. On 31.03.2009, I have approached ONIDA authorised service centre at Jamnagar operated by M/s ketan Services and they took the product to attend repair and said that the status of repair will be informed on Monday i.e. on 01.06.2009. But till 04.06.2009, I did not get any call from service centre. I have called service centre on 04.06.2009 at 19.40 Hrs.

                                  Complaint: NO DISK (repeated defect)

                                  I have received reply as follows,

                                  "A card 5100 has damaged (just 1 year back it was replaced by them - I have lost the bill for the same) and better to replace it with new one. You will not get the card so easily and it will take more than 15 days".

                                  Due to my financial condition I can not change the product oftenly. Request to look into the matter and advise M/s ONIDA to provide necessary spare parts at the earliest.

                                    Onida 21" Oxigen200, purchased from M/s.hah Electronics Home Appliances Pvt. Ltd, Vani Nagar, Hyderabad- Pin-500047-India, on[protected]. Now while watching tv programe on[protected], at 14 hrs
                                    it was suddenly cut off and nothing is seen in the tv screen. We have then lodged a complaint to the above vendor as per compalint No.[protected] and they told us company service personel will attend within 48 hrs. But when noboddy attended to this till 48 hrs of our complaint we have again called up to the vendor and as well as to the ompany's service Nos,[protected], &[protected]. In spite of my repeated calls they neither responded nor they keep the receiver off position or an engaged position. As such I request your good office to take up the matter and do the nedful and ensure your proper service to the customers like me which will keep your reputation on high esteem.

                                      I was working at Cochin Branch office in a Company ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT LTD, ( Service wing of Mirc Electronics Ltd, ONIDA )Having Head Office at Mumbai. I resigned from the company on 4/08/2003 and having 10 years of service .I submitted my PF withdrawal form to the company in October 2003 and after several follow ups they told me that told, they have submitted the form to the Kandivalli PF office at Mumbai and the delay is from the PF office . I asked for the Acknowledgement which they are not able to provided me then I understood that they have misguided me . Then they asked me to submit new forms as they have misplaced the forms.
                                      I submitted the new form again in the month of sep 2007 and after 1 years of follow ups again they told that the form are misplaced so again I submitted the forms in sep 2008 and I called the HR staff Mr Sandeep at that time he told that he will be submitting only after 1 month as his priority is for the present staff. So I went from Cochin to Anderi office on Nov 12 th & 13 th 2008 and talked to the Chief Operating Officer and Senior HR Manager and thus they submitted the form at Kandivally PF office on 21/11/2008.
                                      After 60 days as I didn’t get any proper reply from the PF office, I went again from cochin to Regional PF office Mumbai on 19/01/2009 and PRO guide me to go to Kandivalli PF office and I went the same day at the seat No. 79 the officer Mrs .Triveni and she told me that all my settlement papers are ready and the amount comes to Rs.1.52, 379 and it will be submitted to the accounts the next day after getting the sign from the company on the bank copy and pan card copy. And she herself called the HR, Mr.Sandeep from her mobile and Sandeep agreed to the officer and to me that he will be coming the next day to PF office to sign. I requested to the officer that I can stay the next day also to complete the further clarifications or any sign from my side if needed as I am coming from a long distance., she told that there is no need as there is no other issue and she shows me the settlement paper in her file and noted the settlement amount on the back side of the visitors slip and she told that she will be submitting to the accounts the next day itself so that I can receive the amount in the bank.
                                      Trusting her words I came back, and after a month I received a registered letter from the PF office stating that my submitted forms are rejected and to submit new from, But the rejected forms are not enclosed as mentioned in the letter(Date mentioned in the letter is 27/01/2009 and posted date is 11/02/2009
                                      Now again I have submitted the new forms on 11/03/2009 which is duly signed by the Gazetted officer and verified at Cochin PF office. And also I have forwarded all the copies of forms and supporting documents copies to Regional PF commissioner office, Kandivally on 13/03/2009 .
                                      So kindly do the needful as early as possible. For the last 6 years (2003 onwards) I am approaching to the company and from 21/11/2008 onwards to the PF office at Kandivalli to get my PF settelement.Expecting a favorable reply.

                                      I was in working with an organization Adonis electronics pvt ltd in bangalore from Sep 2007 to Apr 2009.I resigned my job on 17th Apr 2009. Till now I have not claimed my PF amount.
                                      Previously had send the PF form by courier but one the accountant said that have not received yet.
                                      Recently I sent the mail to them but till now no one has not helping even they are not responding my mail. Can anyone can help me out this.

                                      From 08 April 2014 to April 17, 2014 am sending the mail to my employer but no response.

                                      It is to state that I have post a letter with P.F form to you on 14/12/2014 by speed post to Release my P.F which was receives in your office by Mr. Mohan on 17/11/2014.

                                      In that I also post my Filled P.F form along with the cancelled Cheque with revenue stamp as instructed me by Mr. Mohan on call.

                                      But on 24/12/2014 when I contact to P.F office, Kandiwali to know the status of my form, they reply that the P.F Account no. is Incorrect which was given by your office i.e. MH/92001/79/6988.

                                      Plz help me in this matter so that I will get my P.F.

                                      I will be highly thanking full to you.

                                      Please reply me within 15 Days otherwise I will be free to take the legal action.

                                      HARRASSMENT TO A SENIOR CITIZEN BY SERVICE CELL OF ONIDA AIRCONDITONAR


                                      After failing at all the places &amp; harassment I am approaching your self
                                      for help.

                                      Recently my ONIDA 1.5 ton window AC went out of order. . After 2 days of
                                      complaint, the mechanic from the Company Franchisee, M/S Home Care Service,
                                      came &amp; told PCB has gone wrong. After repair it was fixed it .on 05 May
                                      .. The charges of Rs.1350/- were paid. I was told that the warranty of Repair
                                      is THREE months. It worked OK but again went wrong after 11 days (16May). Ref
                                      Comp no-1505C[protected] dt 16 May Again it was repaired and fitted after 4
                                      days on 20 May. Again it went wrong after 5days on 25 May .Ref comp
                                      no-1505C[protected] dt 25 May, it was again repaired &amp; fitted on 28
                                      May(after 3 days) but again went wrong next day, on 29 May comp
                                      no-1505C[protected] dt. 29 May refers but now it has been told that it can not
                                      be repaired. Now neither the PCB is being repaired nor the new one is being
                                      fixed &amp; I, a Senior Citizen, Retired Col is being tortured in this Hot
                                      Weather. The Company, ONIDA, also is not giving any solution. Officer
                                      Incharge, Service Cell Delhi Branch,
                                      Mr. Tomar [protected], , Mr. Prabhakaran- [protected], Mr. Kulwant-[protected], Mr. Abhishek- [protected], Mr. Nitin[protected] wer contacted.
                                      My AC was repaired on 13 May, after one month of torture. The Franchsee M/S home care, palam, new delhi took no interest to get the complaint resolved. It was only when I contacted Mr. Prabhakaran, Incharge Delhi Office, took initiative. The point is how many will be able to approach Mr. Prabhakaran. After repair &amp; torture of one, the franchisee is asking me the payment of 1560/- while he had already charged me &amp; paid 1350/- on 05 May. The repair was guaranted for 3 months but did not last for 12 days &amp; above all they charged me 1350/- for repair of an item costing only 1560/- What a joke? This is the way these franchisees are harassing the customers to extract the money &amp; fooling the company.


                                      I want a COMPESATION also for the TORTURE to a SENIOR CITIZAN in this Hot Weather..

                                        We purchased an ONIDA CRT 29" True Flat model no Co29sl400BL on dated[protected] from Nanda autos. khanna (punjab) an authorized dealer for onida products .The Tv was workin very well but suddenly it stops workin.its not getting power to get on . We are facing a lot of problems in respect to this product.so i request you please to get this product repaired as soon as possible .we called at your customer care number of Ludhaina branch but it was not being picked up by anyone.so please sir i request you to get my product repaired as soon as possible..



                                        after 3 days the problem is same as of earlier.the service center is assuring us for sending the service person from monday but till now no service person from the service center visited our home for repairing.we are facing very severe problems .If no solution to the problem gonna be made i gonna file a compliant against the company in consumer court .
