I had purchased ONIDA 1 ton split AC from Metro radio and Electronics House, S.V. Road, Bandra (W), Mumbai 400 050 on 21 May, 2008. The machine was installed the same day in the evening by the company technician and was tested for 30 minutes. Next morning (22 May) there was no cooling, i called the technician who had fitted the AC and was informed that the gas had leaked and the same would have to be refilled. Next day (23 May) in the evening the technician refilled the gas and tested the unit and it functioned fine for sometime. ON 24 May, 2008 again in the morning the AC was not functioning, I contacted Metro Radio and Elctronics house (the retailers) who said they will inform company. on trying to contact the company at the call centre there is no response only voice operator who asks to wait and that the call would be transferred to customer executive. Even after waiting for 20 minutes there was no answer at the call centre. In this view of the matter it is requested that the company provide me with a fresh Unit as the present one is faulty and would naturally consumer electricity in excess causing double the loss. I fail to understand how can such sort of a model obtain 3 star energy efficiency rating.

    Hi,
    We bought a T.V. around a year and half back.The T.V. does not display anything and is left blank and the power light switch shows red in colour which should be green during normal conditions.
    This problem has started roughly two months from the time of purchase.And when we complianed regarding this, the service centre people replied that it requires around 10 days to get repaired, but even after that the problem is persisted till now.
    We had given complaints and the T.V. has been repaired for 8 to 9 times.But still no sign of improvement.
    It is really a horrible experience and is a headache each time to take the T.V. to the service centre site.
    It is my humble request can any one suggest any opinion regarding this.

      Bad Service

      I had bought a ONIDA Washing Machine 68 E from Fridge House, Thrissur, Kerala State on May last year. Now the Washing Machine is not working properly. During this period it has got complaint two or more times. I registered a complaint in the ONIDA Service centre, Thrissur, Kerala State (nearest service centre). Now after five days of the complaint, they will not attend the case. When I registered the complaint they will always attend the case only after one week. When the technician comes to attend the complaint, they always say that the spare parts is not ready available and it only available from Ernamkulam. This always leads further delay of one week.

      I used to regularly call to the service centre. They will tell one day and another day we will do it. I feel like cheated and insulted. I am really fed up of calling Service Centre again and again. Now I am humbly request ONIDA Authority to step in and take the quick sharp & necessary action to rectify my Washing Machine problem.

      I hope ONIDA will try its best to maintain the customer faith and esteem otherwise I need to drop ONIDA from my mind

        Sir,
        I have purchase a window AC Onida for the services Reminding again & again to your sevice engg. about the complain full servicing of window ac which in warranty period & not working properly for given by the company as the good gesture shown by the company towards the customer it seems to be foolish. service engg told us to send a mechanic within two days for service the ac on dt. 3-4-2008 but nothing comes out frootful.
        This is the last reminder if nothing comes out within 48 hours i have to lounch the complain in consumer forum.
        I am help less regards above matter.

          I bought a onida DVD two month before but dvds lens not functioning. I complained to onida customer care "customer relation Center" in mumbai. Then technician came and told that the lens is not functioning, so we will replace. For the past one month they told " we have no stock" so i want to mail the complaint, but there is no mail address. They have the branches all over the india, but there is no mail ID to customer care.

          I bought a onida DvD player last year. the day i bought it was nt well and they have changed the piece to new.. but still again I am facing the same problem with new one its not reading any disc and stopped working.. registered complaint many time but no rverts..

            Hello,

            I bought Onida washing machine Hydromatic 62 at Metro, Hyderabad on 10th May. At the time of purchasing they said that company person will come for demo within 3 working days. They didn't come for demo so i have booked separate demo at Hyderabad customer centre. The Demo No:[protected] booked on 13th May, they said the same that they will come in within 3 days. But till today there is no response from ur company people and even we didn't open our piece.

            I condemn the way ur company is acting towards the customer. I want an immediate action on this and send anyone for demo.

              WE PURCHASED 4 AC AROUOND A YEAR BACK. LAST YEAR THEY WERE WORKING VERY WELL. THIS YEAR ONE OF OUR SPLIT AC SG 24 TRD IS NOT WORKING PROPERALY. IF IT IS PLUGGED SOMETIMES IT STARTS ON ITS OWN SOMETIMES IT DOSENT. WE LODGED A COMPLAINT ON 3RD OF MAY, NO 2160, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE UPTO OUR SATISFACTION TILL DATE. SREVICE CENTRE SENT THEIR SO CALLED (HALF) ENGINEER TWICE. THEY TOLD US THE PROBLEM IS DUE TO WE HAVE 4 AC WORKING ON ONE ELECTRIC CONNECTION.
              BUT THEY FAILED TO TELL US WHY ONLY THIS AC SENSE THAT THERE ARE 3 OTHER AC WORKING ON SAME CONNECTION. SECONDILY, LAST YEAR ALL AC WERE WOKING WELL, WHAT WENT WRONG THIS YEAR PROVIDED NO INCREASE IN ELECTRIC CONSUMPATION OR LOAD. OVER THE ABOVE THEIR SERVICE INCHARGE MR AJIT IS THE LEAST CONCERNED PERSON ABOUT OUR COMPLAINT. AFTER COMPLAING HIM ABOUT OUR ISSUE HE STARTED BLAMONG US SAYING THAT 3 TIMES HIS PERSON VISITED OUR PLACE AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG & WHEN WE ASKED ABOUT SERVICE FORM ( WHICH THEIR EX. GET DUILY SIGNED FROM CUSTOMERS) HE SAID WE DENIED TO SIGN IT. HE WAS SUPPOSE TO SEND HIS ENGINEER ON LAST MONDAY 12 TH MAY NOBODY CAME TO US TILL TODAY.
              TODAY WHEN WE CALLED HIM TO REMIND HE ASKED TO COMPLAINT REGARDING HIM TO ANYBODY WE WISH.

                I strongly Agree with the above customers.Even I am facing the similar issue with Onida..

                I brought Onida 29" CTV CO29OXBS OXYGEN 600W and Onida DVD Dvix 5989 Player on 23/12/2007 in Vasanthan Co (North Usman Road, T nagar, Chennai-17)..

                I had lot of issues with theplayer..I use to watch movies rarelly..It not even opened any DVD/CD movies after 3 months..

                I Spoke(22/04/08) to customer service(Complaint No.[protected] for more then 4 times they asked me to contact technician in Tambarm, Chennai .

                After four days they send a technician Named Laxman..He just made a note of the model of the player and informed me that the lens has gone bad..it will be replaced within two days and he went off...It took more then 7 days .I didn't get any response from him for 7 days.

                I contacted tambaram centre again they promised me that the issue will be fixed within 2 days, But another technician(Prakash) came after 4 days, He said that their might be issue with the Mpeg board ..he took the board of and said within 7 days the issue will be fixed..It took more than 25 days and still the issue was not fixed..

                I am contacting the technician regularly for the past 20 days and even spoke with the Manager Mr.Elamvaruthi.He too promised me that the issue will be fixed within 2 days...but 25 days gone nothing has been done to my issue yet..

                It shows how worst customer service is.

                To speak the truth..I hate Onida products nowadays.Here afterwords I don't even buy their products ..Even my family members and friends are going to do the same..
                The service let me in deep frustration.I registered the complain on 22/04/08 Still nothing has been done...
                I really wonder whether my issues will be fixed are not..

                I have even post my feed back on their website and mailed to their corporate..

                I really don't know what to do with this issue..

                  I got married on 16th March and we got a Airconditioner from chellamani & Co It was a 1.5Ton Onida Split AC, from the day it got installed the Swing is not working properly and there is also some kind of sound coming from it, we went to the vendor and complained he said once goods sold its for us to contact the company directly and get it cleared . We got the customer care number of Onida from Back of our Bill copy, the Number[protected]. As soon as i got the number started trying the number since April 12th finaly i got the line on April 30th, I logged a Complaint and the executive assured me on Phone that it will be rectified before May 3rd, But since then iam calling them regularly but not getting any response, after so much of struggle the customer care Executive gave me the Number of the Service person to intract directly and during all this i want to mention, non of the executive were able to spk any other language other than Tamil.

                  The complaint Number Given to me on April 30th was 96381652, the service person Number was[protected] Mr.John Vargeesh, i spoke to him, he said it will be done on the same day, Again this person never was decent to spk to a customer, but even after that no body came to rectify the fault, frustrated i again called the service perosn but he refused to answer any of my calls, i again called the Customer care Executive on 15th May but till date no one even responded with a call to my complaints

                  My only advice to the public is never go for a ONIDA Product coz only there advertisements are good but there SERVICE IS Worse.

                  Onida Split AC — Not responding to complaint

                  One week before I complaint to Onida company to make general service of my split ac. the complaint number is [protected]. they didn't respond till today.

                  ONIDA - Air Conditioner — Non delivery of product from past 30 days

                  Hi , myself Ramchandra Yashwant Pawar, had ordered air conditioner - ONIDA A.C Split,model number - S118SLH from ONIDA Dealer - TOP TEN ELECTRONIC SHOPPE,branch no -2,shop no 106/108,1st floor,sector 17,vashi,navi mumbai,contact [protected],27894739,[protected]. I made whole payment in cheque worth 27,000 on 26/2/2011. Bill Voucher number is ORD2000887.Its from 26th Feb onwards dealer is making excuses for delivery of airconditioner. He promises everytime & fails,dont bother to even inform regarding non-delivery. Its almost now 30 days,waiting for delivery.We are frustated & angry, as if they didnt have stock,shouldnt have taken order. Kindly help us in this.We are looking forward to your action to convince the Shopkeeper to give delivery as soon as possible,as latter is least bothered.

The Form was duly filled and handed over to Mr. Hussain who is the Executive of Bajaj Finance. Today when I called him to enquire about my form verification I was told that my Form was rejected for NO LOAN TRACK on my INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK SAVINGS ACCOUNT NUMBER 149.                       I had bought a 1.5 ton ONIDA Split AC model number SZ18GLS from Vijay Sales Opera House branch making 100% fullpayment through my credit card on 14th April 2008. My AC was installed on 23rd April 2008 after chasing the company installation team several times. The AC was wrongly installed resulting in a huge rattling sound, after several complaints and phone calls another technician was sent who tweaked the AC vents and now the AC vents dont open and operate properly and there is huge amount of wated which pours out of the AC, so much so that I need to keep a bucket to collect the water.

                      I have tried reaching the ONIDA service centre numbers, the people who installed Mr. Ahmed, and another service head Mr. Pawan, they have continuously ignored my phone and kept their phone switched off. I have even tried calling the ONIDA customer Service number and filed several complaints which has resulted in no action. I tried calling their corporate office but could not get through and now have just gotten fed up with the whole thing.

                      My request is to please help me with my AC, have someone attend it and fix it so that I can use it or else replace it with a new AC, same brand same AC

                      I am writing hoping that you will be able to reach to the company and so something about it. I have very litle faith in service standards of Indian companies and the whole customer service levels of Indian businesses in general

                      ONIDA /AC — AC IS NOT WORKING AFTER INSTALLATION

                      Ihv purchased a new Onida brand AC on 12-07-08 from ESS GEE ENTERPRISES Bathinda (PUNJAB) & it installed on 13-07-08.
                      AC not working even a single time after installtion .I hv complained sevral times in service center & on shop.but all in vain .NEW AC is not working till now .
                      Ac functionalay noise at in door unit.
                      I have informed the custemer care at chennai..
                      but no bady has tell what is the problem of this unit...

                      We bought ONIDA Make Split A/C . The quality is very inferior as compared to other A/C Machine. Within one year we got three problems and A/C remains off during our requirement. Attitude of the dealer as well as company's is not resolving the issues/problems in the A/C but blaming on Customers like passing to the installation person. We really got surprised seeing the attitude of the person and finally we need to arrange from the outsiders to get it repaired within one year.
                      What is the use of going with ONIDA (Branded Product) when we are not getting after sales services.

                      Onida — no post sale service

                      unfortunately i purchased one power convection 20 dlx of your company about 7 months ago just to land up in a mesh . now i find all details of consumers help lines are bogus and those numbers does not exists neither i could get any update on the net. henceforth i will strongly recomend others not to buy any onida products to ruin your hard earned money.

                      Samsung — Create rattle sound problem

                      my samsung washing machine's arise some sound since three and a half month It is fully automatic.I made repeated complains to the authorised service centre at Pondicherry. i called 16 times but they didnt give any proper response so far.                       The after sales service is very very poor. I bought a Split A/c (1.5 T) just in April 2008 and water drips inside the room. When called on the service personnel, they first of all do not attend to our calls. On the other hand, if they land on our call, they charge for the service and it is really surprising how could they charge when it is under WARRANTY. I now feel that ONIDA products are not worthy going in for. SAMSUNG products are the best and after sales service is excellent.

                      I m urn old customer and I using 1TON ONIDA Split A/C I have purchase 2007 on the month of May from the day of installation aim giving a complaint to urn service center in Chennai still is pending no one is response my question is what is stupid product is urn selling in marketing if there is NO service the remote display is dark and suddenly sometimes is Not working. Aim also working is remote company but aim very grate full to working in this company was giving a wonderful customer service in market and tell bought your product and very poor service

                      I have bought Onida 1.5 AC model SZ18FLT on 25-March-2009 form Vadodara Dealer Rg's.and installed on[protected]. After installation their was a problem in PCB and Relay is triping. Compressor did not rin at all. This was immidiately inform to delaer by their installation technician alnd promised to replace the PCB but after 24 hrs. PCB is still not replaced. My folt is that i have already made full payment in advance.I have asked for Machine replacment but dealer adment to do so and even he is not ready to give contact no. of Onida Offer and personnel. The quality is for Onida AC is very very poor. I recommend no to purchase Onida AC.

                      Onida has regional office at 53/B Kunj society, Alkapuri, PH:[protected], 2353556, [protected], go there and blast Regional manager...dont let go, go the dealer office and shout ur heart out...dont loose man its ur hard earned money...tell them that you will approach Consumer court, and talk to top bosses of Onida...

                      onida air conditioner-1.5 tonnes (two) — not cooling

                      Every word rings true ..they have one of the worst customer service ...i am at hyderabad and their local customer care adonis at abids, is one such example of that..have to litrally beg them to get my ac serviced..though i have an onida tv too.. ihave sweared never to touch an onida product in my lifetime..and will never recommend others to make the same mistake.
                      I fully agree with the complaints registered above. I bought 2 Onida ACs about a week back. Poor installation and I have made more than 50 calls to the service people to attend to it and so far the response is very bad. The worst after sales service. Registering our complaints on this page alone will not work. I wish the service department is pulled up. PLEASE DON'T EVER GO IN FOR ONIDA ACs.
                      I too bought a 1.5 ton ONIDA Split AC model number SZ18GLS in the month of April 2008. I face cooling problems with this AC.Some of my friends and some other AC technicians recommended ONIDA and hence I opted for ONIDA . I opted for a different model Deco Glass but the sales person recommended this model and i paid the full amount for this AC and now i am not at all satisfied with the cooling and its very worst.If i call the service people, they attend the issue and tell some reasons and finally they say its working fine and they leave but still its very bad and it makes noise in the indoor Unit.Can Any one suggest me what to do with this Issue ?? I do work for night shift and i need to sleep in day time in this Hot condition in chennai.                       I brought 1.5 ton split a/c from local dealer 2 years ago. Every year when summer comes we are facing low cooling problem. This year also starting this trouble. I am not at all satisfied with the cooling and its very worst.If i call the service people, they will attend the issue after lot's of complain calls and tell some reasons and finally they say its working fine and they leave. Also some technicians of the company told me that I made a mistake by buying ONIDA SPLIT A/C they also are fade up to solve this same problems. FINALLY I HAVE DECIDED TO NOT TO SUGGEST ANY OF MY FRIENDS / RELATIVES TO BUY THIS "BAKVAS" A/C.
                      I am planning to buy AC machine. One of my collegue recommed to buy ONIDA Brand. So I searched a good onida dealer in chennai through internet. After reading this complaints I am decided to change my attitude. Thanks to all for saving my hardest earned money.
                      We have purchased two Airconditioner last year and the same are still under warranty period. We have request to do the servie as the one of ACs was not cooling. It starts and after few minutes cooling it always goes off and stop cooling the place. Someone came and checked the status of gas which was up to the prescribed level as informed by the complaint attendent and suggested for washing. Unfortunately no one has been turned up since last visit on April 23rd, 2009. We are in contant in touch with customer care but nobody is attending our complaint. Kindly suggest, till when we should wait????

                      I bought a ONIDA 1 Ton A/c from Vasanth & Co, Choolaimedu in Chennai in March 2009 for my children's bedroom. This has been the worst decision I have made regarding home appliances.

                      The unit was poorly installed by the so-called Onida Installation Team. One week later, there was only air coming out of the A/C. I tried calling the Service numbers given, 66783000, 26558118,[protected] for the last 3 to 4 weeks. The first number takes you to a automated system and you can spend the whole day listening to the message "please stay on line...". The second and third numbers are always busy 24x7. Absolutely VERY POOR SERVICE.

                      I called the Vasanth & Co Manager Mr. Kuppuraj on his cell. He said he will call me back and that was it.

                      Could someone help on this OR making a complaint to consumer cell is the best option?

                      Onida after sales service is the worst in my experience. When service technicians came for shifting and re installation of my 1.5 tone a/c(in good condition) they charged extra for servicing of the a/c. i. e. 1950+450/-. my dissatisfaction is all about their standards of work and communication. They broke the flap of my a/c misplaced some small parts like screw covers of the inner unit and didn't fix the screws of the outer unit top cover. when i enquirer about this they started acting smart. they even didn't install the unit properly as a result buckets of water is leaking from the inner unit into my room. when i called them for rectification they started blaming us though they know that the mistake is theirs. one technician finally came for rectification and he starts pointing fingers to my father, mother and me also and started taking with no respect and asks me as if i have intentionally tampered the inner unit. they don't know what a customer is and what is the value of a customer. i shouted at the technician and asked him to leave my house. now my Onida 1.5 done a/c is left with a broken flap and water leaking from the inner unit. it is very sad that how a company like onida which i trusted the most could overlook such issues. i am never ever going to buy any products of onida. and i ll never ever suggest anyone to buy one.
                      same problem is also facing by me from last two months. no one can hear my complaint. i also put bucket in my room under Spilt portion otherwise my whole room will full of water. why should it happen in Onida AC?????????????????/ pls i[censored] get any help then pls know me the result.

                      ONIDA Air Conditioner — NO PROMPT SERVICE

                      I baught a Onida Split AC, at Saravana Store, T, Nagar, Chennai on 20-04-08.But till now they have not given a single service for my AC.I called the deeler's no (Saravana Store) but no response.Now my AC is not working.So I called up the nearest service centre (Tambaram Sanatorium) and registered a complaint to service the AC.They also say, since it is a season time, it will take a weak time to send their technician.They also say it is the dealer's reoponsibilty to follow up for the service once in every three month.Anyway it is very difficult for me and my family including two childran to survive without AC during this summer days.The complaint no which is registered with the service centre on 02-06-09 is 76380085.

                      Even though I unnecessarily got the AC gas recharged, the room temperature never matches the temp displayed on the front panel of the AC.
                      The supplier takes no action on my complaints.

                      i bought a Onida 1.5 ton window ac before one year model no WG18 from Hazrat vision vikas marg. i visitt many distributers all told me that Onida AC's are not good you should choose Blue star or Carries but i ignore all the comments and purchase a Onida AC. the cooling was good is first month of starting from purchase date after that cooling down day by day i call to Onida customer care then three persons came to my hone and take my unit to service centre thel told me that there is no problem in my AC but i am facing same problem from earlier. now delhi temp is 46 degree and my AC can cool my 10 x 12 room else another brand like Blue star, voltas or Carrier 0.8 tan AC is enought.                       The after sales service is very very poor. I bought a Split A/c (1.5 T) just in April 2008 and water drips inside the room. When called on the service personnel, they first of all do not attend to our calls. On the other hand, if they land on our call, they charge for the service and it is really surprising how could they charge when it is under WARRANTY. I now feel that ONIDA products are not worthy going in for. SAMSUNG products are the best and after sales service is excellent...ONIDA is a very poor company
                      I am a resident of E. Tambaram, Chennai. I bought a new Onida 1.5 Ton split A/C on 28th of June 2009. I am suprised to see the manufacturing date of that unit is February 2008. After two days of calling two people from Onida service center came to install the unit and asked Rs 1100/- as installation charges which we agreed to give. While installing he said water hose is missing and asked me to pay Rs 75 for that, i bargained and he agreed for Rs 50/- he installed. After installation they asked for xerox of the bill. Because it already became 8pm he said he will take the bill and said he will be coming tommorrow that side so he will return the bill. Till today 11th July he did not returned the bill. He gave two contact numbers [protected] and[protected]. I am continiously calling and they are telling tommorrow they will bring. But still that tommorrow doesent come. Today I called them they said if you need the bill you come to the office and take. He said that office is above ICICI bank in Selayur on Valechery Road. I asked him when taking the bill you said you will come home return it next day, but he said i dont know i[censored] want you come. That is the status of the service of Onida. and also that water used to leak from the a/c but i called them but response from the service guys. Now automatically leaking stopped. But service of Onida is very very very BAD.

                      I also join the list of poor ONIda AC buyers list I have purchased one ONIDA ton AC split during May 2007. Since being senior citizens we have sparingly used the machine. The rotine cleaning etc was done regularly BUt during June 2009 sudeenly the coolness was not maintained. We called in the service people in this case ADONIS electronics limited and they came callinf after five days of my complaint and verifying the machine they told me that the condenser is not working and i asked them to replace it. but they have taken their own time and when enquired the incharge told me that they have to get the spare parts from Bombay and since audit was going on they could not send it and fix it. atlast they have replaced the condenser on 17th of July 2009.
                      Unfortunately the ac stopped functioning within few days. Again i lodged a complaint with the above fiim on 23.7. 09/ After few days the mechabic who ateended the repair informed that that the motor is not rotating and hence has to be replaced. Tilltoday it has not been replaced with the result that we have been denied the usage of air conditioner of the famous and most advertised company Every alternate dauy i used to call the incharge and he informs that the spare has to come from Bombay. Even today i received the same reply. It is really surprising that all spare parts have to come from Bombay . My question is to why these people should not stock all these items in Chennai where I hope they would have sold around 3 to 4 lakhsACs. Will some responsible person may take some action to stock these items here and help the consumers to enjoy the machine to its full capacity. I agree with others that heere after iwill advise every body not to go in for these ONIDA products.

                      Air Conditioner — No Installation so far

                      Terrible after sales service. I had bought 2 Samsung ACs and one Kent RO on 16-8-09. Window AC and RO were delivered after 10 days, i.e. 26th, while Split AC was delivered on 30th - after chasing on phone. Even till date, after repeatedly complaining to Home town and Samsung, the ACs have not been installed. One person came for installation of window AC on 29th, saw the site and left without saying anything. Since then, no one has bothered to get installation done. Perhaps by Winters it will be done. RO was installed after repeated reminders on 31st August evening. Regret having bought through Home Town. (Purchase order no [protected] dt 16 August 2009)

                      The only word comes in my mind about onida service is just pathetic. The girls employed at ludhiana service center don't have sense how to talk with customers. I lodged my complaint several times at ludhiana service center but all waste, moreover the girl who listens complaint doesn't tell her name even after asking. After negetive response from service center, i contacted with service heads of district and state both, but how can they behave properly, after all they are also employees of same company. So friends, make a wise decision next time, never go for ONIDA.

                      I purchased Onida Split A/C Model-SZ18GLS 1.5 Ton Deco glass on 11/05/08. I got first problem on 30/05/09 that there was no cooling then i regsitered the complained to Adonis Electronis, tambaram i got a/c repaired on 13/06/09. Technican told me that gas had leaked. He refilled the gas & charged Rs 2500 with six month warrant. Now, again issue has occured with a/c that there is no cooling & registered the complaint (C.No-0504) technican had come & told again a/c gas leaked. Now, today i visit to service station Adnois electronis, tambaram they told after three days technican will come to house to remove the a/c unit take it to service station & repair the unit with in 4 days & install the a/c unit. Here I have to complaint against the service timing & quality. I'm not interested to give my a/c unit to service station to repair it & install it again. I'm staying in Chennai it is very hot now days & difficult situation for my wife & kids. I want to request could you please support me to get my a/c checked through company employee & service timing can be reduced. Service provide by Onida service station is very poor & nobody respond properly. Technican has taken my a/c unit last tuesday & still they have npt rectify the problem & service incharge told me that the coil has pin hole which is difficult to repair & he has to replace that coil which would charge Rs-4000/-. This Onida A/c is not good & worth of Rs 23500. I want to tell Onida team, please look into this matter otherwise, i have to go to consumer court for my rights. I can't bear to pay 4000 more for service.

                      I purchased 1.5 tr ONIDA AC from your dealer m/s Al-light Traders at Mapusa, Bardes, GOA on 31.05.2008.The installation which was made by the technician wrongly so the sound of the out side unit is unbearable, secondly inspite of number of requst the preventive maintanance not don which is free of cot during the waranty as per your term and condition, in this regard request has been made twise however no-one attended till warantee is over, finally the personal visited in last month and offer chargabl servicing.In this connection you are requested to ask your above mentioned dealer to provide two no.s of preventive maintanance at the eariest before breakedown of my AC and also ask to reinstl the unit properly so as huge sound will not afect us.My mobile phone No.[protected].

                      I have purchased a brand new Onida A/C from one of their authorized dealer in Mumbai, Climatic Control Solutions in the month of April. It went on well for 4 months and had a first breakdown. the problem was with the MCB. They took the MCB and returned me in 4 days. It could pull on for another 2 months. So, in a warranty of 1 year, the AC is under repair for the 2nd time.
                      Initially i contacted the dealer, and he informed that he can not replace the part and if i want a replacement then i will have to directly contact Onida. It's been 15 days now and till now there is no response from the company. IT HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR COMMUNICATION AND WORTHLESS SERVICING. Now they claim that they do not have the specific part for replacement. They are mis-communicating time and again. Once they sadi that the aprt is in transit and now thety say they do not have it. i think they do not want to invest on the spare parts which they have committed as per the agreement.
                      i have spoken to the Branch Manager, Service Head. But none of them looks interested in resolving problems of the customers.

                      I regret to have taken Onida AC.

                      In this way, i do not see Onida sustaining in the market for longer time.

                      since then the service people at puducherry have nt come for a single service even after they were called for service on enquery they say the dealer has asked me to pay the instlation charges but while purchasing the dealer had said that instlation charges would be free only u will have to pay if additional stand is required which was required and i have paid for that too.
                      I would humbly request u to speak to the dealer as well as to ur authorised service centre and ask them to come and do the service.

                        I would like to write about my worst experience with ONIDA air conditioner's customer service.

                        I have bought Onida Air-conditioners, 2 nos split a/c an year before. Though for periodical service, they have not turned up, I took steps to fix them up on timely basis and got through the same. Recently I found both remotes are not working. I called the customer care and lodged complaint and was given a reference no.824 on April 30th. I was told that the service engineer will attend this on 2nd May, as 1st May is closed. I admitted the same.

                        I have made a reminder call on 2nd May and was told that someone will come on that day. Then the same story on 4th May. But this time, a responsible guy (he told he is) given his mobile no.[protected] and said his name is Fedrick and he will personally take this call and organize someone to attend, which has same result of the earlier promises. Then on 6th May I reminded Fedrick as well and till date no one has turned up. If this is a kind of service this company can show to the consumers, what is the justification of paying over 20000 rupess and to buy an airconditioner !! Infact, I told that I will pay for a new remote if they need money on this but no response on this yet. I would suggest the readers to carefully choose people who has some responsibility to attend complaints rather than seeing the advertisements and decide their buying.

                        than raise a complain on 30th of april 08. my complain no. is[protected]. engg has visited on 2nd may, say pcb board is faulty . it will take some time... but till now on that day it is not raplaced. please find the matter why it is so dalayed. i am not happy with your such type of services, i am facing a lot problems in absence of my AC is not working...

                        i have purchase a 1.5 ton windows AC of onida on April 2010, I raised a complaint for a free service on may 2011

                        I raised a complain on April 2011. my complain no. is [protected]. I said to the engineer ( Adonis Electronics Pvt Ltd")that my Free service is going to complete in 8 days. i need a free service. The service engineer said that my one year warranty period is going to complete, hence i've to take the additional one year service for "RS.650 if not he cant come and do the service. I said first you come and do the service then i can pay the Rs650 for one more year. But he said once i pay the Rs 650 in the service center, then only he can come and do the service.

                        Now it was more then 1 months and no engineer from the service center came to do service. I never expect this kind of a worst service from ONIDA. I was totally upset the way the serivce engineer spoken to me and till now they have not sent any engineer to do the service. If i pay that Rs 650 then only they will come and do the service?. If so please let me know.

                        I was totally dis-satisfied with ONIDA customer service. Kindly take necessary action not to loose any more customer. If this is going to be continued then surely you are going to loose your customer. I planed to purchase one more ONIDA A/C for first floor. Now after seeing this worst customer service my family members is not interetsed to purchase ONIDA A/C. Hence i droped to purchase Onida A/C.

                        My Knid advise to peoples. not to purchase ONIDA for the brand name. we will feel a worst customer service.

                          They have send me vendor of Ondia to reslove the problem, He charged me 2500 for gas filling.

                          But he didnt filled up to the mark and problem has not yet be solved.

                          Atleast i am lost hope and droped the case.

                          Big Companies need to look at the service how good they are offering...

                          I decided i wont recommend any of the onida product

                          All concerns are requested to rethink while buying any Onida product.

                            brought new onida AC W018 on 24 april 08..first of all they take more than 24 hrs to install..then after intstalltion we came to know that its fan is not working properly, it was touching part of body of AC and making a lot of noise..we filed official complained..then next 2 days they just assuring us someone will come..they didnt turn up..they not ready to replace without checking it..and no one come yet to check it..after spending 18000 in cash we are felt cheated and very furstated.this is my first purchase from the Next showroom..i will never purchanse anything from there and never choose onida, , this company have such a poor service..this is a real pathetic

                            Even i had a similar problem with onida ac the fan is still making the noise. i bought the ac from a dealer in pune and onida guys are still sleeping over the complaint. i guess its a culture at onida to not to worry about complaints after the sale. its like going to a ###, if you complain about stds thats your problem.

                              I have a ONIDA TV 20" Model and it got failed the power supply system. I called Onida Service centre - ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT LTD, ONIDA HOUSE, 18, 4th lane, Nungambakkam High road, Chennai-34 and made a complaint on 15.03.2008 and their complaint no is 4030095.

                              One service Engineer came to my house and repaired the TV and made an AMC for one year from 17.03.07 to 17.03.08 and I paid Rs.1600/- as AMC amount. immediatly after the service engineer left my home the TV had started similar and much complicated problem. I informed the same to the service engineer in his mobile and he said he will come after two days.

                              But there was no response from the engineer even after 4 days, then again I complaint it to their Nungambakkam office. Then after repeated phone calls made to their service centre, finally they sent one more service engineer and he checked the TV and told me that I have to bring the TV set to their service centre for detailed check up. Then I took the TV in my car and given the TV to their service centre at Nungambakkam.

                              After 5 days I called and asked about the status, they told me that they need few more days to observe. Then after two days they suddenly called me and told your TV is got repaired and it is ready to take home. I went and collected the TV and brought back to home and surprised to see that the same problem is continuing with out any progress.

                              This means they couldn't rectify the problem and they simply lied to me that it is alright. Again I called the service centre and had a talk with their service incharge and told him the same and asked him to return back my AMC amount since they couldn't repair my TV. But he told me that they send another service engineer and will check the TV again.

                              Today is 24th April, even after one and half month, they have not send any body and they are not ready to give back my money. I realy feel they are cheating me and avoiding me so that they need not pay back my money.

                              I have spent so much money for taking my TV to their service centre and back and also during this period I hired a TV thinking that they repair it and give it back immediatly but in vain.

                              I request ONIDA company to take some serious action and instruct them to atleast give back my AMC amount. Forget about the other expenses which occured to me during this period.

                              I hope a favorable decision on the above subject.

                              Onida Television — regarding amc service

                              with regard to the above i have two amc's with adonis pvt ltd and the same has been in force for the past 8/10 years covering two tv sets. such being the case I have of late observed that there is a inordinate delay and lethargic attitude in attending to the complaints. recenttly I have placed a request for a service for my 21 KY Thunder model vide their complaint ref no.[protected] of 21/11/2009. till now ie 25/11/2009 @ 7.15 pm, i have not received any communication regarding the status of my complaint nor ssnyone has come to attend to the same.

                              with such negligent attitude towards the complaints, i am very much at loss to lodge such a complaint against the company. if this is taken in the right sprit it will go a long way in good customer relationship or so called.

                                I have purchased one onida split ac(model S012yr) in August, 2005. My ac has not been working since March first week this year. After repeated complaints to the company, a person visited my office and after verying the ac, he said that a part, PCB 4, has to be replaced. I asked him to replace the part. He did not come back to replace the part. Thereafter, I visited the company office at Chapel Road, Hyderabad on 12th April and registered the complaint. The company has given complaint no.[protected]. Again, no person came to my office. After repeated complaints, someone called up that the part was not available with the company and they are getting it from Mumbai and my ac will be repaired by 19th April. When I called them today, the reply was that the part was not available in Mumbai and they will get the part from somewhere else and repair the ac by 22nd April. God knows, when they will repair the ac. If they cant maintain the spare parts, why do they cell ac. They do not even care to inform me the cause of delay.                                 I know it is true because now I am facing the same situation. These people come sure after 3, 4 days but again the same problem.

                                  Hi,

                                  My TV's Volume control get locked and I was unable to increase the volume lock. In the Menu option Volume Lock was coming On and was desabled and I was unable to enable that option from my remote. I complained in Onida services, They attended and with the help of Service remote enabled that Volume lock after pressing 2-3 keys of remote.

                                  Just for that they asked Rs 325/. I could not understand that how can pressing of 2-3 buttons charges 325 rupees(in 5 min)

                                  Also in my view this is production fault where if the volume is locked from TV remote, it should be enabled from TV remote only and If to enable the volume lock any service remote is required then why Onida company is not providing that remote as part of TV accessories.

                                  They are just keeping this fault in TV So that people accidantly will lock and to unlock it they will suck 325 rupees without doing any thing.

                                  Can any body look into this issue?

                                  I am facing the same kind of Volume lock issue today[21-July-2009]. Is this the only way to call customer service to unlock the volume?

                                  Please help me...I don't wish to loose Rs.325 for this small issue because of company fault

                                  Go to sound menu...Press down arrow to select VOLUME LOCK...press zoom & Vol- buttons together.
                                  the above soluton is not working for me, please let me know if there is any other solution to unlock the ONIDA Vomune option

                                    MY BROTHER BROUGHT ONIDA TV IN DUBAI ON 26.01.08. HE BRING THAT TV INTO INDIA ON 01.02.08. WE ARE STAYING IN MEDAVAKKAM CHENNAI.BUT TV GOT REPAIR WE CALLED TO SERVICE CENTER TO THAMBARAM SANITORIUM THEY FORWARDED TO KILKATTALAI BRANCH AFTER ONE WEEK SERVICE MAN CAME AND SAW THE TV HE TOLD THAT SOFTWARE PROBLEM AND HE TOOK THE TV BOARD WITH HIM.I CALLED HIM AND ASKED ABOUT THE BOARD AFTER ONE WEEK HE TOLD NEXT DAY HE WILL RETURN IT BUT HE DIDN'T DID THAT WHEN EVER I CALLED HIM HE WILL SAY THE SAME THING.I CALLED MR.BALAJI THE SENIOR OFFICER HE ALSOP TOLD ME THE SAME THING AFTER ONE WEEK WE WILL RETURN IT BACK.AT LAST THEY BROUGHT THE TV ON MARCH THIRD WEEK AFTER ONE AND HALF MONTH. NOW THE TV GOT REPAIR AGAIN FROM APRIL FIRST WEEK I CALLED TO MR.BALAJI AND TOLD HIM ABOUT THAT HE REPLIED ME THAT BRING THE TV TO SERVICE CENTER LIKE THAT I TOLD HIM IT IS IN WARRANTY YOU COME AND SEE THE TV BUT HE DIDN'T CAME STILL NOW.WHEN WE INCREASE THE VOLUME TV GETTING SHUTDOWN.                                     Onida service center at Amritsar(Pb.) is not giving proper service to customers.On9th Dec 2008 I went to the service centre with my T.V kit(21-ID, Model No-2785) as it was out of order.First of all they insisted me to change the kit with new one having cost Rs.3290(Ido not know it is company rate or their own)But i did not want to change it So they repaired it after 4.5 days, by taking old parts from other waste kits.They charged Rs. 1000 for it .After bringing at back home it is fitted by another serviceman but it could not work.Again I went at the service station and they told me Rs. 1000 more are required for its reparing. Now i have demanded for new kit for Rs2550(as they told)These people do not give any receipt for any job.
                                    Sir, My TV has gone in Stand by mode. I haven't any contact no. of your nearest service centre. please help me.

                                    Yes..very very bad service... I got a problem with my ONIDA TV ...These non-sense guys give the same reply..." 2 or 3 days.."... for past one month... DONT BUY ONIDA product...thats the better thing to do...then only ONIDA manufacturers will take care of customer service too...
                                    Pathetic Service. Dont buy Onida. I too got screwed buying 29 ky oxygen from them. I will prefer Samsung, it LG, sony henceforth even if i pay a bit more

                                      Hi,
                                      We have bought Onida Tumble 50 fully automatic front loading washing machine an year back. The machine is still under warranty period. Now after an year, there is a problem with discharge outlet pipe. I lodged a complaint to onida service centre in Bangalore. After many days of complaint lodging, one of their engineer visited and confirmed that, the discharge pipe needs to be replaced and he suggested that, he will come back in two days with the new pipe and get it fitted. After that, there is no sign of any onida engineer visit. We have called the service centre 100 times, and every time they tell that, they will send their engineer today itself and that today has never come. We are really fed up with their service. If by any chance the onida head office team looks into this complaint. Kindly take neccessary action on Bangalore service centre.

                                      Onida Washing Machine — Hopeless service

                                      I have raised a complaint to service my ONIDA washing machine 11 days before. So far nobody has come to repair. Tired of calling customer care who promises to send someone next day itself. I got a call from a service guy 2 days back. He told he will come on that day. After that no news. Tried to call the number back . No response. Never in my life I will buy a ONIDA product again.

                                        Sir / madam,
                                        I bought onida DVD player on 20/01/2008. My warrnty period expired after six month, but I am not getting the free service from onida. For last 2 month I am getting some problem with my dvd player but I am not satiesfied with their services, service man are coming from onida but they could not sort out the problem. They kept my Dvd player for 10 days but they had done nothing. They are doing nothing only wasting my warranty period.

                                        I purchased 1.5 ton window air conditioner in June, 2014 from Najafgarh, New Delhi. The air conditioner is not cooling. The compressor automatically cut off after put ON switch after ten minutes and not re starting. Onida make.
