Dear Sir,

I have purchased ONIDA 29" Oxygen TV on 13/03/2007 and was working very well till 03/09/2009. I have lodged the complaint with the local dealer in Baramati, from where I have purchased the equipment. They have immediately send the service engineer (Immediate means with 4 days). He has taken some parts from the TV which as per his statement to be sent to Ondia Company for the repair. After that around 10 days his mobile was switched off and on 29th September, after vigourously follwing up with local dealer. As per service engineer the parts are not available and he has adjusted with some other company parts there fore picture quality will not be perferfect and also a reddish colour will appear at the left side of the corner and also the picture will not come flat but will appera in round shape like we are watching from the concave lense. And the total expenditure will be Rs.2, 000/- and we will not give bill and what we have done to your TV. You can give complaint to anyone. We are least bother.

What we should do for this.???

This is the kind of service given by one of the leading manufacturing company of India.

      It is only two years since I purchased ONIDA 29'' colour TV Model no C0290HTL and the TV has already got spoilt 5 times. Every time I call up the customer service provider they say that some body will come and check the TV. The enginereers who come are not qualified and do not detect anything in one visit. They promise to come back the next day and do not turn up for the next five days. After persistant calling somebody does come and each time they say something is wrong with the power supply and change it. On the advice of the service I even installed a voltage stabilizer so that the problem does not reoccur. However, the problem keeps repeating. Last time I had a problem with the TV the service engineer could not repair it and took it to his service centre after 5 days. He promised to provide me a another TV for the time being, but he did not do so and returned my TV only after only after repeated request. We asked him to refer this matter to Onida Company and replace the TV. This time again the same story is repeating. The first day the service engineer said he did not have the replacement part and would come the next day and repair it. But only after I called up the service centre for 4 times did he come after 5 days. He tried to repair it twice in four days but could not repair it. He said he will provide a replacement TV for a few days and take my TV to the service centre. At that stage we agin requested to approach Onida for this chronic problem of this bad peice. The office of the chief co-ordinator of Chembur (Mumbai) refused to provide the direct contact number of the co-ordinator. Today it is 15 days and the service engineer has neither repaired the TV nor taken it to the service center to reapir it. I feel extremely cheated by both the Onida and the customer service providing company. I have so far invested more than Rs.10, 000/- in repair and many hours of my valuable time trying to contact the service provider and have been going through extreme frustration and mental torture. I request Onida Company and the service provider to either replace the TV or resolve the problem completely. I request the consumer forum to take the information from both the manufacturer and the service provider.

      Onida 29 " poison — color problem

      Hi,
      colors are not being displayed properly, already complained about twice and the previous complaint no. is [protected], two tech have visited and informed they will come back and none of them did, so if any one has some time to check my television i would be very grateful to u, suggestion to any user who wants to go with onida

      BE CAREFUL, THIS COMPANY SUCKS, NO RESPONSE TO CUSTOMERS AT ALL, U have to take the pain by your self..
      i am your very old customer becoz in my home all electronic product is ONIDA because your product always life long. but last month your service engineer harace me.

      same problem with me. Every time I call up the customer service provider at ranchi they say that some body will come and check the TV. The enginereers who come are not qualified and do not detect anything in one visit. They promise to come back the next day and do not turn up for the next five days. this is happning last 4 month.
      With no quality service expectation from you (Gala & Sons House of Electronics) nor the brand Onida, I am writing this complaint once again to you and the brand. The service has gone from bad to worse, and the image of your shop and the brand means nothing to me, after this plight.
      This all started when I bought a Onida 29” Poison TV from your store on 6th July 2006, for Rs.23500/-.This TV had a 4 years warranty on it. During this warranty period this television set got spoilt 4 to 5 times. On more than 3 occasions, the TV set was taken to the onida workshop. Finally the TV set got dead and there was no further repairs carried out. I asked for a replacement which was not given to me. Now the company played a trick on me, they told me that they don’t have the same model for replacement, they told me to take an upgraded model, for extra money. I had no choice, as I was fallen in the trap, I gave them 11000/- more and took an Onida 32” Xaria LCD. They took the money and gave me a receipt and told me to come after some days to take the delivery. When I went to take the delivery they told me the set is available and I can take it, but due to past bad experience I was adamant on checking the package there itself. When I opened the package, to my horror, I found a used TV set in the package. The TV set was mounted somewhere, and they had unmounted it and packed it in a new package and were trying to give it to me. At that moment, I just lost my temper, but they apologized and started blaming others and told me that they will give me a new set. Finally they gave me a new set, now I thought that no further problems will occur. But now Onida has made itself a bad brand name, and to make it true, this new set in the warranty period, blacked out, only the sound was there and no picture was to be seen. In spite of repeated complaints the technician wouldn’t come. Finally he came as per his convenience and after repeated intimation, and he told me that, the motherboard has gone faulty, and he would get the motherboard replaced. He told me that he would the replacement in 7 days, but he didn’t turn out, he came after calling him on phone after 20 days, giving an excuse that motherboard is not available. Lastly he came and replaced the motherboard and the TV started working. After some days I was searching my remote and couldn’t find it, so I tried switching off the TV’s power button from the TV panel, but to my surprise, instead of power off, the TV started changing channels, then I tried the channel button to change the channel, now volume started going up and down, so now I tried the volume button, which was not working at all. All this happened after the technician changed the motherboard, I called up once again with the complaint, and they told me it’s a small bug and would get repaired. As I was waiting for the technician to come in the coming days, (NOT AGAIN) again to my horror, the TV set blacked out with the same problem which was their earlier. I doubt whether the technician actually put a new motherboard, because when he came back and we asked him for an explanation, he couldn’t give us a satisfactory answer. Now do you think that I should allow the technician again to touch the TV, I don’t know what kind of caliber your technician has? The engineers who come are not qualified and do not detect anything in one visit. They promise to come back the next day and do not turn up for the next five days. After persistent calling somebody does come and each time they say something is wrong with something or the other. However, the problem keeps repeating. The first day the service engineer said he did not have the replacement part and would come the next day and repair it. But only after we call up, they bother to come. Your technicians are very much interested in telling the customers to sing AMC, as they know it that the product is bound to give problems. This is the kind of service you are giving to your customers.

      ONIDA 29 " POISON TV — TV NOT PREPARED BY ONIDA COMPANY

      I HAVE A ONIDA 29" POISION TV, IT BECOME DEFECT FROM LAST 30 DAYS BUT THE COMPANY CANNOT RECTIFY IT FROM A LONG TIME. I CONTACT THE SERVICE ENGINEER OF BHAWANIPATNA , BALANGIR & SAMBALPUR BUT NOTHING IS HAPPEN .WHAT CAN I DO NOW.

      I purchased the Onida A/c on 31/05/2010 .Now , ac gets tripped frequently. I lodged the compalints with Customer Care of Onida vide compalint no. [protected].The engineer visited my place & told me that I have not to get installed the ac in office.Then he went back.On friday I contacted the customer care five times.Every time they gave me mobile and landlines nos.       I am Lakshmi Kantha.K.G, purchased a ONIDA Oxygen Thunder 29” TV, Model No. C0290XTS, Sl.No. BJ 4023310 in Hassan at Pai Electronics two years & three months back. I have a problem in the TV and lodged a complaint at Bangalore (Karnataka) via complaint No. [protected] on 21.02.2011 to repair it. One Service Engineer from Hassan visited my house on 24.02.2011 and he has taken away by telling that it is to be repaired and replaceable with spares at Hassan and confirmed in bringing TV Board within two days. Till date the Service Engineer is not yet coming to my house. Daily I am dialing to the complaint office, Manager, Service Engineer. But they are not responding. They are completely lying in these 15 days. They are not receiving my calls properly, they are neglecting my calls. They are telling in these 15 days, the board has been kept under observation, Service Engineer has taken away to your house to fit the board. But till date I have suffered from their negligence answers.
      In this fifteen days I have dialed Bangalore complaint office for two times. They also supporting them and saying we will go through the complaint, but not done anything in this matter. I have completely disappointed with your company services. I have decided to scrap the TV and go for another firms. Finally I request you Please, guide the Karnataka peoples to serve properly and to behave a human being. Unless you people will lost customers who trusted your company like me.       Onida — color problem

      my tv colour hasbeen fade no colour for every channel. do no understant waht has happen

      I am also facing same problem as above said, I have purchase 21" slim model Onida TV 18 months back, since last 20 days its not working, I registered a compaliant vide[protected] dt[protected], so far no body attended to my compalint, though I am regularly requesting customer care to solve my problem.       Onida — Repeated complaints at local service centre however no one has attended it till date

      I had given a complaints at the local service centre since there were two problems faced one there was sound issue and second was picture was not clear , the engineer came and was able to rectify the picture issue but was not able to rectify the sound problem. Have called repeatedly to the engineer but he did not turn up inspite of repeated calls. There is a new picture proble know , there are some waves on the picture screen
      Why consumers are not protected... the legal authorities should take up the matter and arrange for compensation from ONIDA... they give big ads on LCD's and LED's, people buy them assuming to be of high quality but it becomes worthless within one or two years... people spent huge amount and from various comments it seems that ONIDA LCD TV's are of very poor quality and become a big head ache. There is no quality after sales service .. the customers are kicked left and right without proper service . It is high time that all consumer in each localities gather and march a protest march to their service centers... arrange channel reporters too to report about the matters.. so that customer are never cheated again.. and see that no one buys ONIDA TV's

        TO START WITH PATHETIC DEALER WE GO ON TO DISGUSTING CUSTOMER CARE.

        THE UNTRAINED STAFF SITTING IN ADONIS DELHI DEALING WITH THE COMPLAINS OF GURGAON. THE GURGAON CENTER DISCONNECTS THE CALL DIRECTLY. THE CONCERNED PERSON IS SITTING IN KARNAL(SUMERJEET). HE IS SO BUSY THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE TIME TO LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER.

        THE WINDOW AC THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SERVICED TWICE IN A YEAR HASNT BEEN ATTENDED TILL DATE ABD THE WARRENTY OF THE PRODUCT IS EXPIRING IN 2 DAYS.

        WISH WE COULD ADVERTISE THIS SO THAT NO ONE ELSE BECOMES THE VICTIM.

          DONT BUY ONIDA AC AT ALL, THEY HAVE MOST DISGUSTING CUSTOMER CARE WE GAVE COME ACROSS TILL DATE. A CENTER CALLED ADONIS IN DELHI WHICH ALSO DEALS WITH GURGAON. THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNTRAINED STAFF.

          THE GURGAON CENTER NEVER PICKS UP THE PHONE OR DIRECTLY DISCONNECT THE CALL.

          THE CONCERNED PERSON IS SITTING IN KARNAL AND RUNING THE CENTER IN GURGAON. i[censored] CALL KARNAL HE DOST NOT HAVE TIME TO LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER AND BUSY WITH HIS BUSINESS.

          AMAZING HE DOESNT KNOW WE ARE THE ONE RUNING HIS BUSINESS. ONIDA REALLY NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ELSE SURVIVAL IN THE MARKET WILL BE DIFFICULT. THERE ARE MANY OTHERS OFFERING BETTER CUSTOMER EXPRIENCE.

          Onida — poor service of Onida Service Centre, Karnal

          Dear Sir,
          I have purchased one ONIDA TV from M/s Gopi Agencies Pvt. Ltd., Karnal As on Dated:- 06.06.2008. The detail of Television is as follows:-
          Model - 21’ inches Flat Neo Black
          Sr. No. - 115631
          My TV is not working since four months . I had lodged a complaint on Onida Service Center Phone No. [protected], [protected]. After 15 days they visited to my house & repaired it. But 25 days back my tv again become faulty & I again lodged a complaint regarding this & they came to my house on 02.04.2009 & the mechanic told us that the chassis of the tv is faulty & it will repair in service center. Today I called again in service centre & service centre guy told me that we have repaired the chassis and we will fit it in your TV tomorrow. When I asked about the date of complaint no. the guy told me the complaint Number:- [protected] & Date:- 02.04.2008. But this is for your kind information that I have lodged this complaint 25 days back. Now you are requested to please change my Television set as soon as possible.

          I was purchased a ONIDA mobile model no. G500; Serial no. 00015207; IMEI no.:- [protected] on month of november 2008 through HOMESHOP18. I have some problem on this handset but the service centre is not accept the handset for repair because i have no receipt cash-memo by the homeshop18.
          So, kindly help me and give the duplicate Customer detail, that will be helpful for me.

          I had purchased a 1.5 ton window AC in April 2008.
          After one year of purchase when we asked for the last service while in warranty period, it was told to us that the gas has been leaked out and a refilling has to be done. It was done by the company.

          In April 2009 I Extended the warranty by paying AMC Charges for another year which was offered by Onida.

          Now again when I asked for the service before starting for this summer. A person came from Onida franchisee and service the AC.At that time only I told him that it is not cooling as it should be. He told me that it will work properly once you use it regularily. After 2-3 days I noticed that cooling is not there. I complained again. This time they took away the AC to there workshop by saying that there is gas leakage in it and they will check it up fully in there workshop. Though I do not have to pay for gas filling as it is under extened warranty(AMC). I hope I do not have to fill gases every year

          I want to ask question from the Product Quality Control team, how come a company like Onida is playing with their customer by giving them faulty product. If the quality department of Onida is so poor then they will definitely loose customers in future.

          I had purchased Onida widows AC from National Sales Kotkapura last year. Its not working properly since last 25 days. After repeated complaints to the distributor as well as to the service center bathinda and ludhiana, there is no response from anyone. My AC is still in one year warranty, even then no one is bothered. Its just a pathetic service from Onida.
          same problem here wd me. I am from noida. I am suffring from 18th of this month my split ac is not working. every day i call adonis about my complaint mor than 3-4 times but til date there is no activeness in there staff, and Mr Sunil who is manager their in Noida have no responcibility for their work. He has given his Mobile No. but never picks.
          Welcome to the gutter family. I too had the same experence in Bangalore... I would never touch Onida again. Better go for other brands, Lg, samsung, sony etc for tv
          Same problem with me.
          The Service Centre at Rani Bagh, North Delhi turns deaf ear to complaint.
          The Customer care staff is untrained & non-cooperative.
          my ac compressor needs to be replaced & is under warranty.
          But, even after 10 days, there is no action from service centre, north delhi.
          This is really shameful on the part of such a Big Company ONIDA.
          No one cares for after sales service.

          dear sir,
          I inform you that my onida window ac not working properly than i req. to service for my onida window ac around 7-8 time 16days left 26th may req. no.[protected] but no buddy cum and servicing my ac kindly take same action

          not providing parts

          my onida tv nv 29" was repaired by onida engineer but it again defected after 10 min. parts EHT ef 5308 is not available in onida service centre and they are forcing me to change the entire kit.

            I logged the below complaint in ONIDA website itself but they are not ready to take about the complaints.


            I am having problem with my AC LED lights for the past 1 and half months. Below is my complaint id's but now the status is closed.
            Complaint id[protected], 76380317 and 76380892

            First of all I want to tell about your service center, I NEVER EVER SEEN LIKE THIS KIND OF WORST SERVICE IN MY LIFE. This is very RIDICULOUS for me.

            I made 3 complaint regarding this issue but without solving my problem, your customer care service people closed my complaints and the reason is CUSTOMER NOT AVAILABLE IN HOME AND NOT ABLE TO REACH HIS MOBILE. But the thing is, from your service people I will get call and they will ask for confirmation whether I will be available or not after this call, your service people wont come to solve my problem and the solution is my complaint is closed due to not available. When I call to your head office Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd. and the person who is attending calls ask me to contact Tambaram Sanatorium branch but I am not able to contact Tambaram Sanatorium branch because always phone line[protected] was busy.
            I planned to take/go with your Extended Warranty Contract (EWC) after my warranty period but as of now I dropped this idea and I never recommend to buy ONIDA products to my friends, relatives, colleague and my family because of your POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
            NOTE: ONIDA is a nice and good product but CUSTOMER SERVICE(Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd.) IS WORST.

            ONIDA SPLIT AIRCONDITIONER — after sales service

            I have purchased 1 Ton split AC two months back from your dealer named NEXT in Chennai - CANARA BANK ( Ambattur) which is in Tamilnadu . I am not satisfied with the cooling effect, i have given complaint several times to NEXT, but they did not even send a representative to enquire what the problem is. i have heard from known sourses ONIDA does not have service support. Is this true, i dont want to carry a wrong concept on the company. Can you please do the needful .

            1 Ton Split A/C — Complaint not attended by service Centre

            I have purchased the Videocon One Ton Split A/C from Beg Airconditioning Srvices, LalBagh, Lucknow in May'2008, but at the time of installation one part of indoor unit was replaced istead of replacement o[censored]nit. after that every month there was occured a complaint regularly and only part was changed after saying that if further any complaint will occur then unit will be replaced but that can not be done till now.
            Now the unit is not working so Please take care of this so that we can be benifitted from A/C

            onida split a.c. — after 4 days no response from service

            My split a.c 1.5ton is under extended warranty contract from 1848 to 1749. I loged a complaint with customer care Ms. Adonis Electronics Pvt. Ltd. on 1549 . My complaint no. is B-3422. Even after regular follow-up and assurance no one has turned up to fix my a.c.on till date. they do not have courtesy to even give a phone call and inform me about the delay. Customer care lady passes the ball to Area service center( Vikas Puri ) and then Area service center Mr. Amar says that they are over burden with complaint and will see to attend at the earliest . Even after 4 days the are not giving any commitment of time. This is not acceptable form ONIDA.
            i have complain many time for 1 st service. but no one come here for service.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I had purchased Onida Air-conditioner Model 18GLS on 27.03.2009 vide bill no VC23826 from SACS, Madurai.

            I had a problem on cooling, and I complainted on march 1st week. My room size is 10X10 with single cot, and self.

            Mr.Esaki (Under Mr.Radakrishnan) attended the issue in 3 days and he stated that it is your feeling only. The machine is working good.

            After a quarrel, Mr. Ramesh (Under Mr.Radakrishnan) has attended again in few days, and he said, he will discuss with his senior and he do the needful for the problem.

            After giving frequent complaints, Mr. Alagusamy came, he cleaned the vaccum fan. And he asked to check and confirm.

            Again the problem not solve. So, made complaint to Mr.Radakrishnan.

            Mr.Radakrishnan send one contract people to solve the issue.

            Mr. Kalid (Contract man) he visited and he said, compressor and oil stroke problem. He told that he take the machine on the next day to his service center.

            As per his wordings, he taken the outdoor unit on the next day and worked for 5 days.

            After 5 days, he fixed the unit, and asked me to check and confirm.

            But the problem was not solved yet.

            After my complaint, he visited again and confirmed the problem was in section pipe(connecting pipe which formed ice).

            He taken the unit, worked 5 days and problem not solved.
            The above repeated for 3 times. But my problem not solved till the end of the summer.

            Then, he changed the cablary pipe also. But even when the was unit was not working.

            After fighting again and again, Mr.Radakrishnan and Mr.Michel ( Under Shankar) visited, and told he will send another experienced contract person.

            After 2 days, the contract man Mr.Sherif came. Again he taken both the indoor and outdoor units, worked 5 days and returned back and he said he cleaned with High pressure air, and condenser oil strokes, and he repeated the step for 2 times.

            But even after 50 days, my problem not get solved.

            Then I was very much angry because I spend the entire summer without A/C, and so much mental tension for repeat complaints and un useful services, phones and personal visits.

            After that I met Mr.Shankar (Service head) who assured the replacement of outdoor unit within 7 days after making request to your company.

            There is no response your service team there after.

            After 14 days, Mr.Shankar has told that the machine was purchased before one year. So, there is no replacement only service can be done.

            Even after that no response from your team.

            After so many calls and quarrels, he send one Mr.Michel and Mr.Alagarsamy for name shake. They simply says that the machine is ok. No problem.

            Did they think that I am fool?

            So, I last hope on your team and their response. So, I need your direct attention for this issue. Or else I am sorry to say I don’t know what I do.

            ONIDA customer service is very worst in chennai. Service is handled by Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd. Below is my latest complaint lodge to Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd through oniida website. But they are not ready to hear anything about this complaint.


            I am having problem with my AC LED lights for the past 1 and half months. Below is my complaint id's but now the status is closed.

            First of all I want to tell about your service centre, I NEVER EVER SEEN LIKE THIS KIND OF WORST SERVICE IN MY LIFE. This is very RIDICULOUS for me.

            I made 3 complaint regarding this issue but without solving my problem, your customer care service people closed my complaints and the reason is CUSTOMER NOT AVAILABLE IN HOME AND NOT ABLE TO REACH HIS MOBILE. But the thing is, from your service people I will get call and they will ask for confirmation whether I will be avialable or not after this call, your service people wont come to solve my problem and the solution is my complaint is closed due to not avialable. When I call to your head office Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd. and the person who is attening calls ask me to contact Tambaram Sanatorium branch but I am not able to contact Tambaram Sanatorium branch because always phone line[protected] was busy.
            I planned to take/go with your Extended Warranty Contract (EWC) after my warrenty period but as of now I dropped this idea and I never recommed to buy ONIDA products to my friends, relativies, colleague and my family because of your POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
            NOTE: ONIDA is a nice and good product but CUSTOMER SERVICE(Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd.) IS WORST.

            I am purchased a 1 Ton capacity Onida A/c from Pondicherry. I had registered a complaint from their customer care on 29.05.2009 at 12.30 PM. Till the date, they have not comply any my complaint even after my repeated telephonic talk.

            Even i face the same problem, the service is very worst such that i have never senn or heard in any other brands. I have two Split Onida 0.80 ton, which is leaking right from the installation, i complained about this initallit and they told they will come by the first service and look it and its almost a year, but no response.

            I have called about 20 times atleast. Please have look into this seriously. Even after complainting this to the Service Manager himself, no response is there for this.

            Request some one to have a serious escalation on this.

            ONIDA SPLIT AIR CONDITION — WORST SERVICE AND POOR RESPONSE TO COMPLAINT

            Hello SIr,

            I have purchased a 1.0 Ton Split AC From Fomra & Co Adayar Chennai India. I was about to purchase Samgsung but the shopkeeper insisted me in Buying Onida because of better Service and Quality of the Product.It is been 15 days after installation my AC doesn't cool the room. I see only the Fan functioning and almost 2 buckets of water is getting drained every night.And there is a leak in the vent pipes.
            I had contacted the Dealer to log a complaint and he turned to Be hopeless and kept promising that engineer will arrive today. its 5 days now and no engineer has turned up. When i called Onida Service desk they say complaint was filed Yesterday and within a Week's time They will rectify the issue. The reason for the Delay is that they have only 1 AC engineer with them.
            Ondia being such a oldest brand and with so much advertisements shouldn't they be ashamed of themself for providing such lame excuses? Has then recession affected them that they cannot afford to pay their workers salary? If so then why charge 18, 000 for a A/C. If they call it a use and throw product then it should be avialable for just 5000 as the Chinese Products.
            I have also contacted the Dealer Head in Adayar Mr Chandrashekar ( mobile : [protected]) He also turned to be hopeless and does not have the curtecy or decency to listen to consumers complaints, instead he he screaming at us asking us to call after 2 days. such arrogant brats should be punished severely.

            The staffs are not do their resposibilities, Some times they behave as street side people.

            I am forced to mention with lot of disappointment that none of the above promises were fulfilled & it has led to inexplicable harassment & wastage of my time & energy, thrusting on me the decision of never using an Onida product in future.

            I am mentioning the following points to aid you understand my pathetic situation:

            1. Shabby work of installation of the air conditioner.
            2. On first usage of the A.C, there was zero cooling, to which at first the Company / Care Solution people said there was no problem, later they realized that there was no gas in the condenser and finally at later stage the air conditioner (not the condenser) was changed.
            3. The first service of the AC was done very late (after approx 7 mths of the purchase) & that too after we complained of low cooling.
            4. The low cooling problem again cropped up and after several follow ups & calls from our end, the Company person comes & says, that it has “no technical problem’’.
            5. Recently, again the problem of low cooling was registered with the Care & Company people, again after several calls & personal visit to Care Solution, the same Company person turned up to say that it has “no technical problem’’.
            6. Further, we were told that the product is 4 starred & supposed to consume less electricity. To our dismay, our electricity bill has risen 3 times, the highest ever, in comparison to the similar usage pattern in the corresponding period by the air-conditioner of another brand. We may question, are the tall claims made at the time of selling, all fake?

            We maintain that we are not at all happy with the responsiveness of Care Solution or Company people, as they just do not seem to care about customers’ complaints. They have never taken a call on our any complaint; several phones had to be made to make their single visit possible, never an initiative from their end. To add to our apathy, the Company people visiting are ill mannered and rude. Most of them can only converse in regional language. Needless to mention, that we are extremely unhappy with the product.

            ONIDA (AC) — Inappropriate service

            We firstly called to the callcenter regarding the servicing of our "Onida" branded air conditioner(Model no.-SZ09GLS/SZ12GLS/SZ18GLS) on 27/4/2010.(Complaint no.-[protected])

            I m Puneet Malik from Panipat. From last 20 years we r using the products of Onida but this time the dealer BALAJI HINDUSTAN ENTERPRISES (G.T. ROAD. NEAR H.D.F.C. BANK) has done a big fraud. Because last year we bought a split AC and that time he sent a used AC to us and the stabilizer was also not in work. We did not complaint for them but now when the compressor of AC is not working then no one even the service centre and the dealer is not taking the responsibility even they are not listening. And they are saying that you have to pay the charges for all this. But there is 5 years warranty of the motor of AC and compressor is a part of motor. So I want to post this complaint.             TECHNICAL COOLING CENTRE — A/C SERVICE

            Dear Madam,
            let me brief you on thi issue:-
            1. i got the number for a/c repair( TECHNICAL COOLING CENTRE, SHOP NO 22, V.D.S. MARKET, SECTOR 45, NOIDA) from justdial. I got my 5 a/c serviced( bILL NO. 016 DT. 26/04/10) and filled a gas in one of them thru him. He charged Rs. 2400/- for the same. The bill clearly mentions one year warranty on gas . when last month i contacted me to lodge a problem with the a/c that he filled the gas, he started avoiding my phone and Whenever i got to speak to him by changing the no's he assured me that the same would be done in a day or two. The same process went on for a month. Then i contacted justdial to apprise the company about this dealer's malpractices. Your Ms. Preeti (JUSTDIAL MANAGER) was very helpful and took up the matter with mr. Aqeel malik(TECHNICAL COOLING CENTRE) on a conference and after much reluctance and on information from Ms. preeti that the company would not like to forward the customers to such malafied dealers, that he assured to get the product repaired . Next day his technicians came, who were totally unskilled, they first emptied the gas from the a/c , straitened the pipe, then refilled the gas. He did this 3-4 times that day and in the process broke the valve. They then said that the same was not such an expensive part and right now they are not carring the same, and would come tomorrow again and change the part and refill the gas.
            Since then he is constantly changing his stand. First Mr. Malik assured me that the product is under 5 years company warranty and i should get the bill from the builder and give the same to him and he would get the product replaced from company immediately. I did the same but since then he is simply not answering my call. Then i recontacted justdial people and again Ms. Preeti took up with Mr. malik, and there he confirmed that while filling his people broke the valve but refused his accountability for the inefficient, untrained and unskilled employee mistakes. Why should then the customer bear.
            " you get you tv repaired for power switch and if the technicial damages the LCD who is to be held responsible".

            Onida — Poor Service by Authorised Service Centre

            I had recently lodged a complaint for my Onida TV, Oxygen. The Authorised Sevice Center sent over a person to have a look. The fellow could not resolve my problem, but insisted on Full Payment, which I had to give. When asked as to when would the complaint be fully resolved, he told that the Tuner is not available and I will have to call the service centre again.

            15 days later the TV succumbed and went completely dead. Another complaint was lodged and another technician attended. When told that the TV had been attended a fortnight ago and was still in service warranty, he called up the previous technician who had attended and asked him about what was done and what the fault was?

            However even this fellow was unable to resolve the matter and left without even attending to the matter. He was insisting on the previous complaints bill, which I could not give to him at that moment. However I gave him the date when the TV was serviced and asked him to look up in the records maintained by them. Assuring me that he would do so, even he left without even attending to my TV and giving the excuse of tuner.

            Now its been a week but they have not responded with any news on when the Tuner would be available. I even told them to take it as a new complaint and repair my TV ignoring my previous payment and repair warranty. However they are not willing to do so.

            I would request users to be aware of such tactics by Onida TV before making an Investment in any product of Onida.
            Yes, i too facing the same issue with 29 inch OXYGEN MODEL, my TV went dead and we informed the Adonics Madurai branch is repair it, then i have asked to take the TV to Tirunelveli Center, where they took almost 3 months to repair the TV and paid Rs.3000/-

            I have taken the TV and with in a week's time it went to dead, after a long struggle with the TV service center, one person came after one month then after spending Rs.1000/-.

            After 2 week's time it went dead .. i am really beg you people not to Buy Onida products as the AFTER SALES SERVICE IS VERY VERY POOR...

            onida / split ac — Useless customer service

            This is regarding Onida's customer service.. We have bought a split AC 1.5 ton in July 2008, but within less than 3 years our A/C's compresor stopped working.. After several reminders they came and confirmed that de compreser needs to be replaced.. With our regular followups of 20 days somebody came n changed the compressor but spoiled the display. They said there would another person coming and repairing de same as they r nt frm de concerned department. After they left we tried de A/C but still it was not working.. Its about a month we have been complaining Onida customer care but till 2day no revert.. The other engineers also stopped taking calls..             I do agree that Onida service is THE WORST in Chennai, I had three acs and all the three are not working for the last 2 months and we will never get Mr.Balaraman over phone.Other peoples will never lift the phone.I finally decided that i did a blender by purchasing Onida acs and thinking of changing to some other brand.Unfortunately all Onida acs are only one year old. Even technicians are not able to identify the problem.Now maximum i can do is advising my friends not to buy onida acs.

              Sir,

              I had purchased a 29' Onida KY Theatre television in September, 2005, which had guarantee for four years. During the guarantee period too the equipment had some complaints which were promptly attended by the service providers. Immediately after the guarantee period that is in October, 2008, the equipment failed. With several complaints made to the company people the same was attended by their representative and finally informed that the coil winding and board of the equipment had compliants and they are helpless as the model is stopped by the company. Due to the non response of the company representative I had to forcefully hand over the machine to a private party who found out that the LOT of the machine as repaired continuously by through improper means thus leading to the major compliant. This act of the company not to respond to a valued customer is intolerable/ excruciating and causing great hardships to my family. I had purchased the machine by paying ready cash of Rs.24000/- and cannot again afford for a new one just in 4 years of time. Still the machine is non-functional. Efforts have been made to repair the machine several times but in vein. Kindly look into the matter and find out a solution at the earliest.

                Dear Sir,
                I have purchased the above said A/c on 8/4/09 from M/s Gala Electronic, Malwani No.1, Malad(West) and installed at 12/4/09. When checked on 14th, neither cooling nor getting switched off the blower with remote. I have gone thoroughly with the product where I found that the manufacturing of the said A/c is 21/03/2006. You are well aware that the age of a/c is only 5-6 years and 3 years has already been elapsed. The complaint registed Onida. Visited technicians and given report for replacement. from 15th April, 09 giving assurance by Mr. Mane, Mr. Vasant, Mr. Ahmed and the owner of M/s Gala Electronics that the same will be replaced with new one, but till date, only I am receiving assurances, not a/c reasons told that the product is out of stock. I have requested to replace with another one and ready to pay differential price. But, only assurances are receiving. The summer season is on the peak and product purchased is all in vain. kindly look into the matter. Your prompt action is highly appreciated.

                  I Have purchased onida dvd player 8300 @ 2 year back.I Have registered complaint for purchasing new DVD remote control as old remote control is not working properly.I have registered complaint on 21/02/2009 vide complaint no is [protected] in bhosari (Pune) Maharashtra .But from last two months they are saying that no stock is available.Then I have contacted cordinator of that region.As per his information software of model no 5100 can be loaded on 8300 DVD & Remote control of model no 5100 can be used.But till date no one is attended this after continuous follow up to them from me.

                      Last year i purchased 2 split ac's of onida, out of them one started giving problem after one month of installation only Gas leaks from the outdoor unit. last year itself it was reapaired and gas charged 3 times by the Onida ppl. this year also it gave the same problem when i ask them to replace the unit, they say that according to there records, last year it has been gas charged one time only where as m providing them dates, they r asking for complaint no. who keeps complaint numbers?. what happens after warranty is over do i need to pay for repairs every month or so. if possible kindly get the unit replaces

Service is handled by Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd is pathetic...Rajesh ([protected]) and Manivanan ([protected])... should call the call centre for registering my due service, later again call to remind them, again and again keep calling until the person (tech guy) calls you, - i received the service after 15-20 days on a average from the day of calling.

                        Also to my surprise, tech 1 called in the night between 7pm-8pm asking whether he can come to service my AC, i asked him to come next day morning, Next day tech 2 (another person) calls up asking when should he come to service - when i had left to office and the house is locked, day 3 tech 3 (one more stranger) came and did the service quickly (10-15mins) and said its done... what did he do is, asked me a cloth, cleaned the outer panel, removed the front pane, filter and dusted it and refitted - work is compelted. SO GREAT JOB. Onida should SHUT THEIR BUSINESS WITH KEEPING ALL THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE TO SERVICE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>&...

                          I have purchased a product name Onida G 500 Color Mobile Phone from homeshoping 18 .com my transaction ID was[protected] dated 21/02/09 through Cash Payment.I received the product on 06/03/2009 with invoice . when I received the product and check the function & quality was not actual as show in there television show, then I called up there customer care executive and defined my problem regarding the product he told your product will be picked from your address and it will returned to the concern merchant. Your money will be refunded through Account Payee Cheque at your Address. He provided me a service case no.also.But after continues follow-up No body came to collect the product then I have to courier it by myself at the invocce address M/s Girdhari Lal & Sons Petrochem Ltd. A-50, Okhla Phase -I, NewDelhi. But courier was returned back to me duse to wrong address was mention on Invoice.Again I asked for the refund of my money but Customer care executive reply me that your product can not be refund. due to enter the SIM Card in phone. I am surprised that what's the mean of Money back Guarantee.

                          now even I did’t remember how much times I called them for my money only assurance is given.
                          I got the 50% coupen on my purchase also . But whenever I call to customer care, they always transfer my call to another caller and phone hold continuously.


                          this is my humble request I don’t care for my money but thing is that TV Home shopping 18 network should be severely punished & penalized so that in future they will be careful and they could not cheat any consumer I don’t want any other consumer feel badly harass like me

                                  Let me write this not with full heartedly, but to bring it your notice that I always admire all onida products. I used to recommed to all about onida products to everyone.

                                  This opinion has been changed negative last month when my TV set completely showed me a dark screen due to Circuit board fault identified by your service center guy.

                                  I purchased last year as usual with owners pride. The problem started exactly after the expiration of warranty in one week. I do agree any electronic product will give trouble. but what made me upset is that the brand like onida coming out with such a inferior product with a poor quality control to check such a important components inside a TV set.

                                  Any ways being a loyal consumer for onida, I request the team to improve your quality control.

                                    I had purchased Onida Semi-automatic Washing Machine Hydrofall model of 6.8Kg on 26/5/2007 at Bangalore. Its drain knob failed after just 4 months of purchase and it has already been changed thrice ever since. Again on 10/4/2009 it has failed. Onida Service centre at Rajajinagar shows very poor response and they have only one telephone line. Mechanics come for servicing after 15 days of registering the complaint. All they have to say is that this model has the problem of the knob.

                                      regret to inform u ..that i have made one complaint no. 380452 on 12 .03. 09.. it was not attended and is closed .. again i hve made a complaint no. 380733 on 20.03.09.. at your lucknow office .. it was attended and still showing as pending due to non availebility of component..and it i supposed to come from mumbai.. offic e.. but any how ..no one is there ..to settle the problem till date ..my tv.is dead. i do nt know ..now what to do... this is the las t resort to writing to u like this .. i m feeling bad ..like writing to u.. like thIs ..but whot should i do.. pl. guide ...

                                        J.P Electronics is a fraud store I have ever come across. BUY PRODUCTS AT YOU OWN RISK FROM J.P. ELECTRONICS. I have got the most horrible experience in this store. Most of the electronic products were bought from J.P. Electronics by us. Always they have delivered defective product which had returned due to some problems. No service is provided once you buy the product. They refuse to accept complaint for a product that they have sold. J.P Electronics, Court Chamber, S.V. Road, Borivali West, Near Indraprasth Mall, Mumbai - 400092 Phone # 28056666 & 28058181"

                                        I have purchased a new Samsung Refrigerator - 345 Ltr S/S 35 BDPR from J.P Electronics, Borivali (W). Mumbai on 4 April 2011. The refrigerator was delivered on 8 April 2010 in a damaged condition, where the top plastic cover was cracked . In spite of repeated reminders to my dealer, my request to replace my refrigerator is not being heard and they blame the Samsung company for the faulty piece.They dont even treat you with courtesy and the sales executive Maneesh was so rude that he tells that " Do what you want, we will not refund anything" Imagine how they treat the customers. ABOSULTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE of my life buying an appliance, never experienced anywhere
