My name is rahul verma. I am a resident of budh vihar delhi 110086. I would like to raise a complaint against orient company's customer care attitude & product (Orient ceiling fan model “summer cool”, s. No fg 1s 56ab 0077011) which i bought around 4 months back (29th april 2016)

First of all i would like to tell you that the fan which i purchased is a defective piece. After purchasing this product i installed it and it isn’t working properly since the day of purchase. Moreover, when i asked the company to replace that fan as it was a defective piece, they sent someone to fix that up, that technician visited and somehow it was fixed at that time. However, in few days we have started facing the same problem again and had called once again for the assistance, now this time we had someone else to fix the issue, who upon visiting rather solving the issue gave us some real things to worry about.
He said that the roof is not in shape which is required for this fan. The design of the ceiling is not appropriate for this fan to work in a proper manner.
He also gave us some vague calculations about how long the downrod in the ceiling fan should be. Now he’s done with everything he could do to help us other than fixing the issue. After wasting my time for almost 1 hour he told us that this fan will not work under this roof.
One should understand that its summers, its burning outside, without this fan it’s not possible to survive in such weather conditions and it’s been more than 4 months that i have not been provided with any solution to my existing problem with the product.
I am very much disappointed with the product along with the services provided for it. It looks like that i have been cheated and fooled by the misleading & hidden information because if there have been such things like the size of the downrod or the ceiling design then they must have had that mentioned on the box or if not that way then once should have been told about all that necessary adjustments while purchasing the product.

Now i have some below mentioned points which should be clear from their side without any further delay:-

1) when i told them and raised a complain on the next day of purchasing that the product is not working properly then instead of changing the product why they sent a technician for repairing of fan. It means they are making fool or cheating on customers by selling them defective products intentionally.
2) orient's customer care department is good for nothing. I was almost begging to register my complaint for two days however they were not able to update my address in their systems. And finally they updated the address of someone from hyderabad, which shows their unprofessional & careless behavior about their work responsibilities or you can say that they are doing all these manipulations deliberately.
3) as we all know that we use to buy products like fan for summers, so i bought this fan in april & now august is almost ending which means me and my family suffers in burning summers because of their fraudulence.
4) i bought this fan because of so called reputed company “ orient” & felt cheated from last 4 months.
5) we had a marriage function at my home in last month july 2016. There were so many guests & relatives came at my place and because of their 3rd class defective fan we got humiliated as well.
6) in last 4 months, there were so many instances when i or my family members had faced so many problems like itching, skin allergy & illness.
7) from last 4 months, we are feeling physically & mentally harassed by orient's company & feeling insulted as well because of their defective product & unprofessional & fraudulence behavior.


Now as all things are going beyond the limit & these guys seem least interested in their customer issues, i finally decided to raise this issue to get the concrete resolution.

As orient are harassing me & my family mentally & physically from last 4 months, i will not tolerate it any more. So now i want compensation for all this fraudulence & carelessness done by this company without any further delay

• first of all i want the refund of money which i spend on their product.
• i don’t want any repairing or exchange of this product any more.
• i don’t want any technician to be visited at my place with any excuses otherwise i will call the cops and register a fir against that person as well.
• i want the compensation for the physical & mental harassment which i & my family are facing from the day we purchased the defective product.


I have a video clip with me in which the so called technician of orient company is accepting the fact the orient company make fool of customers by selling the product which is useful with so many hidden conditions which is not written on their documents or product box as well which will come under fraudulence.

We have purchased orient fan just 8 days and it is not working since 5 days.
we have lodged the complaint of non working of fan on 16-08-16 on customer helpline no. I regret to say that no complaint has been attended till now. We have done several calls to customer care for lodging the complaint and person used to say it will be attended within one day. But no person has come to attend the complaint.
kindly look into the matter immediately and attend the complaint as soon as possible.

I am abhishek kumar a research scholar in dept. of geography bhu varansi. i purchased a oriend desk 26 fan before 2 month and it stoped working on 8th july 2016 and i complained on 9th july (w[protected]) but they did not attend but they sms me that it is attended. once again i complained on 21st july and after a day they sms me that attended. after that i complained on 30th july and they did not attend. i called them daily and always they replied me that it will attend but they did not attend. sir mindly i am so upset and i am in trouble please help me.

I have purchased a exuast fan dated 22-11-15 vide product no. s. no. hh 15 12 du 0004115. after a few month of purchase suddenly fan out of order. i have complained customer care centre after a week ur engineer visit our house, found fan motor out of order. he assure us that i will mail a complaint to the company a very another day ur fan will be ok. after a week not engineer visit our house for resolve the problem. what a service of orient. a very poor service. no one visit or call us for when the fan will be ok. i[censored] want ur product more sale then activate ur engineer to resolve the problems o[censored]r customer. now in question?

I have purchased a new Orient Fan written High Speed All over it.
Despite purchasing a new fan it functions like an old fan and doesn't work.

I had logged a complaint on the toll free number and they assured that the technician shall be available in 24-48 Hours.

Despite several followups and regular calls no one has showed up yet and received a message from the company that the complaint ticket is resolved.

After calling up again they mentioned that again technician shall visit but now no one is bothered to even pick up the call.

I have been calling customer care numerous time from last 5 days to get an issue of my orient gyser fixed (Re-set button - its under warranty). Local service centre technicians at mumbai of orient are irresponsible people who don't know how to keep promise of visit. They are making only false promises of visit or don't pick up phones.

I am raising a serious issue of process/people of orient service centre where there is hardly any appreciation of customer complain.

I am providing true feedback of a problem faced by customer. Customer service centre could have said there is no way where they can help, and i would have thrown out my gyser and purchased a new one from better company rather than following up everyday five times. I wish i don't buy any appliances from orient in future.

I have purchased orient company cooler model cp3001h online by askmebaazar on 12.05.2016 Invoice no is KS-231/16-17, order no-AB12054110P5667447, cooler serial no is[protected]. Now I am facing cooling problem and cooler body Sound by touching its fan with front moving blade in a low and medium mode and sometimes throwout water from tank outside on moving blade from last night on 20.05.2016. I am feared about fan rubbing to blade because its moves from actual place . I have already attached Invoice copy for purchased details.

Its a my first experience with electric items with orient company cooler. Arrange a good and experience technician for repairing on priority before misshaping with my family.
Company had send untrend technician for repairing cooler on, 26.05.2016 at 6:00pm.He had used paper for preventing water throwing from tank but with in a hour paper was melt and blocked water pump and same do it for making noise of fan. I request to company send a trend technician for repairing cooler.

I purchased oriento tornodo fan from sri rama krishna engineering company, srikakulam, andhra pradesh 532001 on october, 2015 please refer my complaint no. C[protected], dated 31.05.2016 and solve the problem immediately.

I bought smart cool dx cp2002h air cooler from metro cash and carry on 8th april 2016. It was working fine for a month later pump stopped working. I complained about it to orient customer care. I got the response that issue will be addressed in 24-48 hrs, which never happened. Again i followed up many times with customer care but every time they give new complain id and close the previous complaint. Later i didn't let them close the complain (C[protected]- 14th may), later they raised new complain c[protected] with same assurance. (27th may). Till now nothing happened.
Being such a reputed company, i expected some good service, but in reality there is no service al all, just oral assurance.

Hi orient team i never such a big company to do this kind of pathetic service to a customer my fan noises like anything n i had complain on 17th may and today is 28th may still no 1 has visited my place n m getting messeges stating

This message i got from customer service center. Before one week till now there is no response from technician all r giving another contact numbers & saying this is not my area, all customer care are just taking complain & messaging the same old message but not supporting to esend technician at doorstep

I bought a cooler orient actus on 1st april 2015 and after 2-3 days I was facing water leakage problem. I complained many times but they were not able to provide me permanent solution and next year I was facing same problem due to which electric motor got damaged and warranty period was of 12 month..Due to company fault my cooler is not working and the will not providing me free service.

Complaint already lodged through toll free no. And complaint no. Is c[protected]. The technician informed that the fan needs to be replaced.20 days h
Ave passed but no action so far. Kindly expedite the matter. Fan was purchased on april 16 2016. After installation it started wobbling. I lodged a complaint through toll free no. And complaint no. Is mentioned above. I am still waiting for the rectification. Please help.

I am very disappointed, they never informed about 15 days will take to deliver

While contacting they are not responding.

I have purchased a new fan named orient spectra with led lights on 26.03.2016 from new gupta electric co. Sector 18-d, chandigarh and got installed after few days. After running appx. 2 hours, the fan and light was stopped. As written on fan box, i registered the complaint on free toll no. And complaint no. Is c[protected] dated 4th april, 2016. The complaint was attended by two officials and advised that they will attend the same after one/two days with replacement of card for running of led light and meanwhile run fan direct without remote. After this service, i received a message that complaint no. C[protected] has been attended and hope service provided was to your satisfaction.
Now further 5 days have been passed and there is no word from the officials, who attended the complaint. I have purchased this fan after watching advertisement on tv, so many times. The co. Should attend the same on priority.

I am highly disaapointed customer of Orient Fans. We have bought a new Orient Fan with lots of hopes for our new home in Bangalore however the fan has never worked properly.

The fan makes a lot of sound, lights are not working and there is no air even at the speed of 5!!!

Is this what you want to deliver as your premium Products. Now comes the next disappointment. I called up customer care and everytime I opted for the English language I was dorected to Hindi Speaking Executive who didnot know english properly. With great diffculty I was able to lodge complaint. No one turned up. I called for almost 4 times. The call centre guys were not happy and gave me Zinal Ofiice number for Bangalore. Now I spoke to Mr Dev, who promised someone will surely come and repair the fan, is not picking up my calls.!!!1 Please advise me what needs to be done in this situation??? Are you guys waiting for the warranty to get over and then come and charge for the services?? Isnt it daylight robbery?? First selling defective product..not turning up till the warranty is over!!!????/

Remote of my orient fan is not working properly. I called customer care 4 times (between 31 Jan 16 to 4th feb 16) in last 5 days and they registered 2 calls (C[protected] and C[protected]). But still I am waiting for an engineer visit. Seems they provide support without engineers. This is first and last time I am using ORIENT product. My bad decision (:...

I bought a orient cecilia automatic silling fan of orient compony operates by remote from Success enterprises, pune. purchese dt : 13/09/2015. from Noember there sterted a some problems like speed chenge, light on/off, noise and much more. So, i amplaint at orient custmoer care toll free no.[protected] on 28/11/2015, their technician come, checked and told that sensour has gone, it has to replace, it will come in next week, .But nothing...

My induction cook top has been u/ s from 9 Sep 15 I have raised complaint. My complain no. Is C[protected] the company repersasantive has taken my induction cook top to service center and till date he has not solve the problem .when my raise complian the product was in warranty.
