my customer id is 109201 with the name of mr Pabitra mohan dash. my connection has been failed from 27th may 2012 , n i have put so many complain to the customer care but result is nil till today 21.06.12. if your company cant provide service then shut down your use less company . who ll pay the bill of this disturbance period? i am not going to pay a single rupee for this period. let me see what is the company policy of your company,
but ortel having punctual collection agent , what ever may be the problem we have to to pay the bill ,, just shame less it is not service oriented company at all,

i hope for the best ,,, other wise i ll go to another level .

1.it does not provide e-tv,tens sport&many more important channels...insted of it gives free chhanels...(not requireds)
2. the quality of videos in channels we seen so worst

    Dear Sir,

    7 days before i give a complain that i cann't view the tv channels. From that day to today i cann't view a single channels due to no signal. But when i call to the customer care numbers about my complain it tells that there is no complain given by my side. And when i want to talk to the customer care executive they are all busy and by default i talk with other customers those who want give complain(many times). So please take necessary action against Ortel Communication Ltd, Bhubaneswar. Although we are paying advance rental for view channels. Every month it is going on.

      I am customer of Ortel broadband my customer Id- 901457. I think i did a mistake by taking ortel connection. Your executive just forgot after sale. when ever i am calling to you call center number [protected] always its busy or by chance if they pick the call then they will put you on hold and after 2/3 min automatically got disconnect. In night after 8pm you number got not reachable or switched off or rejected. If your call center works till that time then why you giving advertising that 24*7. Plz change it to 14*7 instead of 24*7. be clear dont cheat to customer. i believe there are lots n lots customer are suffering from this. It will not help you to regain the customer

        this is Sumanta Ku. Nayak having member ship No. 752820. I had given complain on dt 5th May 2012 due to not avail the net facility. I have reminding 2/3 times per day but their excutive telling us sir your problem to be solved in evening. But result is zero.How can i trusted on this type of Organisation. They are chitter and given false commitment.

          we have ortel by default as they have a tie-up with the builder. but the latter has not given points(cable) where practically possible. stretching this, ortel did not give us connection though they gave the set-top box. the wire is yet to come. sourish gupta was dealing with our society. we were using one connection and have paid regularly and have receipts also. now that he has left ortel and us in the lurch, we are being harassed unduly and unethically. no one from ortel has contacted us after april 18 when they suddenly disconnected.why are supposed to pay for a connection not supplied by the company? now sourish is not responding neither is any executive from ortel.they have also taken our airtel box,hence we cant use that also.numerous complaints have been given, but i guess money and muscle power is more powerful than educated intellectuals like us. mem id 719011

Abhi bhubaneswar me 2 din se internet nahi aa raha tha.. customer care walo ne aapna number switch off karke so gaye the... kisi ko pucha toh bola ki link failure ho gaya he.. magar under ki baat joh mujhe pata chala he ki Ortel ne Airtel aur Reliance ko paisa nahi diya tha toh un logono ne internet cut kar diya tha.. agar ek company ke pass money nahi he woh kya dusroko service dega..

              Bhai saab Ortel such me chutia company he.. sale log sirf loot te he.. jab service ka time aata he koi nahi samne aata he.. better hoga tum aur koi internet use karo.. Ortel ke pass paisa nahi he ki woh wifi modem kharid sake.. agar tum puchoge toh woh bolenge 5 din me aa jayega.. maine apply kiya tha wifi modem ke liye but bahut din tak supply nahi kiye toh paisa wapas le aya

              My net too slow to operate, I have complaint many times but Ortel Communication didn't take any action. So, what can I do? Take Strong Steps Against Company.

                I am a customer of Ortel Communications Ltd.My Customer ID is-693980 and I have the f complaints that there are 6 days nothing signal, which there after repeatedly bringing them to notice, they take no action.I don't understand what type of service they provide to customer.

                The Customer service of Ortel Communications is really pathetic, although you go to the office and lodge a complain to their respective division officers, no action is taken. I have got fed up with such kind of poor response and have changed my connection.

                I had to bear this for more than 2 months. The employees there have a dont care attitude.
                I was recently transferred to Bhubaneswar. Before taking a broadband connection I en quired from a lot of people using ortel broadband and after I read reviews on internet about their horrible service ., I decided to go for our time tested BSNL brodband. I am really thankful to users for their postings on the net regarding horribly poor service . I have also decided not to take their cable connection at home.

                I took Ortel internet connection 1 and half months back and since then my net connection is not activated.Even after so many reminders and calls to their customer care no action is taken. company is just interested in the initial subscription amount and after that they will not entertain you at all.They are just making money by fooling all new customers.

                  On 18th of April I lodged a complaint of 'No Signal' when the Collection Boy-Chitta Prusty came for the monthly collection of bill.He said he will lodge the complaint and person incharge of area will check it out and also do the needful.Nothing happened on that day,Next day when we call the person incharge-he said he is suffering from cough and cold and can't work.So we lodged the complaint in customer care no:2123734 on 19th April in around 10.30 am.When nobody contacted us in the day,so again called the customer care-[protected] and person who took the call said that Technical Dept. will contact you as soon as posible and then there is no contact from your Technical Dept. I don't have the time to go to 5th Floor Bhartia Tower to lodge the complaint again.Phone number is ringing but with no response.

                  I am not satisfied and will never recommend anyone to subscribe with Ortel for any services.

                    DEAR FRIEND. I AM USING ORTEL BROADBAND IN BHUBANESWAR. BEFORE I WAS USING TATA PHOTON. ORTEL GAVE ME A CONNECTION AFTER 10 DAYS OF WAIT. I TOOK HOME PLAN WHERE THEY HAVE COMMITED 512KBPS, BUT I AM GETTING 300 KBPS. SOME ITS SO SLOW THAT PAGE ARE NOT OPENING. WHEN EVER I TRY THEIR CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER[protected] ITS EITHER NOT REACHABLE OR OUT OF SERVICE. THE CALL CENTER EXECUTIVE ARE SO BAD THAT EVEN BEFORE LISTING THE COMPLAIN THEY CUTTING THE PHONE. THEY NEVER RESPOND TO THE CUSTOMER. IT WAS BETTER TO HAVE TATA PHOTON OR BSNL INSTEAD OF ORTEL BROADBAND. ORTEL BROADBAND IS VERY VERY BAD.

                    customer care — Customer care executive not reachable

                    I have been trying a customer care executive from past 2-3 weeks.
                    Not able to get one guy on board.
                    Simply waste of time & money & effort.
                    The auotmatic tele messaging service is really irritating.
                    Could we get one executive on line pl. in the next 2-3 days.

                    ortel communication — Ortel Broadband Very poor service provider

                    I have been facing connection issues with Ortel Communication broadband every day. I get 'no network access'. If it does get connected by chance, the speed is as low that I cannot surf the web also. This has been happening since the past 3-4 nights. I called the night before but was on hold for almost 20 minutes and then hung up since could not speak to customer care. Yesterday, I spoke to customer care executive and registered a complaint. He tracked my MAC Address and agreed that the problem was with their modem receiving signal. There was supposed to be an engineer visit today morning. I got no call, and there was no visit. I called Ortel customer care again and they said engineer will come in the evening and fix the problem. I did not get any call again. I called the 3rd time and customer care said that engineer cannot come today, and will only come tomorrow.I have a lot of important work pending which I already wasted the last few days on. Today again there is no internet connection. I am mentioning here, straight forward, that I WILL NOT PAY MY BILL FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER until I am given a waiver for the days that my net has not been working. These days will be counted from Sunday, 25th September till my net does not start working. It has already been 4 days now.

                    I will suggest everyone do not go for Ortel Broadband. Very poor service. Every ISP has problems I have seen, but Ortel Broadband has the highest in number.
                    Ortel is the Worst service provider, specially in Angul

                      I am a 1.5 year customer of yours. From that day I have taken a unltd plan due to high usage. & you can see my payment records. Not even a single month i was in defaulter list But from last 6-7 days in regular interval my service get disconnected & then after calling to your customer care after 1 to 2 hour i get the connection . This is happening in every 2 to 3 hour so if i have to face this then y should i take ur unltd usage plan of high rental?? I can take another competitors plan They are offering more than cheaper plan then you. So its my hearty request to you kindly improve your service & your customer support.my memb no is[protected]

                        Hello Sir,
                        I have disconnected my broadband connection almost 3 months back. They should give the advance amount which I paid in 45 days.
                        Till now they didn't give the amount. I called up their customer care for more than 10 times and they always say that they will call back but they did only one time. At that time they asked me to wait 20 days. It been more than 40 days but no response from them.
                        When I was holding the connection I faced many issues and finally decided to disconnect. Now they are not giving my money back.
                        I am really frustrated with them. Please let me know how to proceed legally. No one else should face this situation ever.

                        Hereby i ud like to register the complaint as the employees of this company have no responsibility of collecting the charges properly and they have collected the respective amount twice for the month of feb. from me. Therefore i am going to change my ISP from ortel to any other.

                          This querry is subjected to enquiry of ortel super economy product, monthly charges.Ortel broad-band internet connection has door step bill collection,through which charges is known to users.But if we can acess online, which gives a more authentic picture.However when tried to log in,faced problem to acess information of the same,under the column,customer care.The product is registered under the name of Mr R.C Dutta, under membership number[protected].Entering to membership column for querry is easier by typing 00134836,but the password column when typed 7836,as given by ortel from day one,is entirely invalid.When told to customer care by calling they gave a default password that is ORTEL.However typing this password is of no use,as writing in system invalid password.If password has been changed,this should be informed atleast.Since 10 months,we are not able to acess and blindly paying our charges.Many times, we feel extra has been charged,because under our scheme of payment 850/- per month,download limit is unlimited, but we feel charged more.At the earliest please send password, so that misconception gets cleared, and exact charge could be known.

                            Dear Sir,

                            my costumer ID is 438948, despite of availing the unlimited Internet service @ 512 KBPS (on paper) I am still going to net cafe for Internet connection. I am availing the service on paper only, and I know I have to pay for it. but I am unable to connect to Internet at the time of need.

                            I had called Angul office on phone no [protected] several times but get no result ( I can submit my mobile call records as proof) . neither they respond correctly nor tried to solve the problem.

                            I had requested the BBSR office and got the complaint no 2067367, but no development to my problem.

                            Please sir, you are requested to provide uninterrupted Internet service or you can advice your people to disconnect my connection, so that I will not have to pay unnecessary amount for the services which I have not availed at all.


                            My request to all the consumers please stay away from these ortel connection.

                            One of most useless and fraud company i have ever seen. I am requesting all people of orissa plz dont subscribe any product of this company. They are making the people fool by using their muscle and money power.Go for TATA SKY, AIRTEL, BSNL or any other company but plz not ortel.

                                Ortel Communications Sambalpur Gives Very Very Very Pooor Broadband Internet Service In My Area.

                                I faces every day two or three times problem of ORTEL BROADBAND LINK FAILURE,
                                Sometimes all lights are stable but internet connectivity is not working.
                                When i complain to costumer care service, their service boy comes after 1-2 hour and solves the problem. BUT

                                After 5-6 hours again same problem comes that is LINK FAILURE (in their technical language)

                                  I was one among the oldest customer of Ortel Internet Service at Angul, Orissa. I discontinued the service in 2010 Dec, due to change of work place.
                                  On returning again to angul I applied for reconnection in the month of October 2011 and deposited the amount, the receipt is still with me.

                                  But here starts the tragedy for me. I did not get any connection. More over on calling to your angul office I was being behaved very rudely. And even threatened. Even after so many calls to BBSR office and mails I got no result. I consider these persons not better that thieves, who had stolen my money in the name of Internet Connection.

                                    ortel is better at getting the first payment after i applied for the connection. they calls you till you have not piad for connection booking.
                                    After booking and payment, they have no reply for my processing detail.
                                    they will take more days for till you are irritation at most at its limit.

                                    they have no verification for your application detail.

                                    i should tell them to give better service or close the com[any.

                                      Dear Concerned,

                                      I sometimes have second thoughts on GDP growth of a Service dominating economy where people still do not about service.

                                      I had taken cable connection from Ortel communication, Bhubaneswar. From past 4 months, I've been called for payment and everytime I've requested ortel people to come before 9am or 9pm as we (me and my wife) works and there is noone at home. Nobody has turned-up in last 4 months.

                                      Now, they have disconnected the line and asking us to pay in full in their office and after 1-2 days it will be corrected. This is ridiculous that after telling them n numbers of time about the timing, they have not collected and have disconnected the line.

                                      Person who were informed about the timings of collection (as we both husband & wife are working should be penalized for our suffering.

                                      I've requested them to send both the person (for collection and for correcting the cable connection) together but they are agreeing to it rather telling me to pay first if I want the connection or threatening me for Legal action.

                                      WORST SERVICE...

                                        Hello Sir,
                                        I was really fed up with the service of Ortel broadband. For the last 6 days it was down and whenever I call them I never get a good response from their Customer care or the technical people. Even the customer care guy is asked me to disconnect the connection. The only reason why I don't disconnect is that my friend had an Ortel connection and as per them they will give the deposit only after 45 days after disconnection but my didn't get the money even after 90 days. I need to get more than 2500 rupees and I am really scared that they don't give the money.

                                        I never get the connection continuously for 2 days. If it is working two days then it will be down for next 3 days.
                                        Please assist what should I do in this case?
