Dear Sir,

I am a customer of Ortel Communication since last three months(Aug 2011) in Bhubaneswar. My customer No. is 812090.
My ortel connection was terminated on 16th Oct 2011 due to wrong download billing to my chargeable account instead of non-chargeable as the downloading was done between 1:00 AM to 7:00 AM which is non chargeable according to my plan. I have complained three times in customer care department through phone but they didn't solve my problem. On saturday(22nd Oct 2011), I met one of the official regarding the issue. He assured me to solve the problem. He called me on saturday(22nd Oct 2011) evening and told me that the issue get resolved. But I still not able to connect to internet, the status of my modem is still offline.

I have called 8 to 10 times to customer care no. :[protected] which is not toll-free, after IVRS response NO ONE IS PICKING THE PHONE (response of IVRS : ALL OUR AGENTS ARE BUSY PLEASE HOLD THE LINE). It cost me approx Rs.70/- to call the customer care unit with no results, all in vain. Then I called the official, he picked the phone and shouted at me to call him at night. It was a lot more frustrating. I have paid entire month's bill and not able to use internet without any fault from my side. The customer care unit had never acknowledge my complaint and didn't took any action untill I met the official. Yet the problem is persist. I am fed up with ortel's customer care unit and its services.

Now, I just want to enable my connection properly and the adjustment(compensation) in next month's bill(adjustment for not able to use internet from 16th Oct 2011 to 23rd Oct 2011 due to fault from Ortel side)

The ortel's billing system has many faults. It is uneven. Many times, the system read my downloaded data with different timestamps. Suppose, I start downloading the data at 6:00 AM and stop it at 7:00 AM, their system records it as 6:30 and 7:30 respectively, something like that. The result makes customers to suffer or loose more money in making the calls to chargeable IVRS waiting for an agent to hear the problem. I have hold the line for 20 minutes four times but in vain.

Please do something for customers sake. Dont let the ortel people to remain as it is who are just want to earn money from customers
providing the worst services or i should call no sevices.

    Dear Sir, I am Deepak Kumar Mishra (214497),it is true that the customer care units behavior is so rude that I want to disconnect my Ortel Net connection from this month.And as per my monthly plan the company produce me the bill amount higher (Rs.942.93ps) than my plan amount e.g. Rs.600/- p.m. Though I was avail another 200 mb extra, the bill amount should be near about Rs.800/-.

    I personally mail to [protected]@ortelgroup.com,[protected]@ortelgroup.com,[protected]@ortelgroup.com requesting them to provide me the bill before 15/10/2011.And the bill they produced me is after 15/10/2011 that is 16/11/2011 which is after due date.That means the company wants the fine amount from the customer with fraud billing statement.

    That's why I have no option but to switch over this type of service provider to another one.

    I have Ortel digital cable connection at my home, picture quality is best but suddenly several number of channel like Zee tv are blocked & no proper response given by the ortel service unit in my complaint. the procedure to attained complaint is not proper & satisfactory of ortel service.

      I am a condumer of Ortel Communications, Orissa Bhubaneswarfor taking cable internet connection.My consumer No. is 744423.The modem is showing offline since 25/09/2011. I have made several telephonic complains to the customer care through No[protected]. Again I have sent emails to their Nodal Officer"[protected]@ortelgroup.com as well as appellate officer,"[protected]@ortelgroup.com" from my mail addresses:"[protected]@gmail.com" and "[protected]@yahoo.co.uk". No action is being taken by the company.
      Kindly ensure that the connection is set right within 24 hours.

        dear sir my con no is 505789.after returning from abroad i paid money for reconnection..sat yr staff laid cable and prom tv can be operated from sunday.i gave a com also on sunday.tel no[protected] remains busy without break.other nos ends in ringing only..what i am to do.it will take time to get adjusted with your complaint system. can you help.?

        refund of money

        I disconnected my Internet on 12 Mar 14 and deposited my modem. I was assured that my refundable amount ( 1000.00) will be paid within one month. But till now i have not got my amount. My customer ID is 862617.

          Dear friends
          I am using Ortel cable & Broad Band since long. I have two connections in two different names.
          I have my Tata Sky digital connection in my home. One day one of he executive of ORTEL came to my home & suggest me to surrender my Tata sky Se-Up box wih hem & ge Ortel digial connection (Complite Pack) @ Rs 150/- per month for 2yr. After yr ORTEL forget his promise. He charged me Rs 300/- per month.

            I have been a cable (analog) customer of Ortel in Raipur (Customer No[protected]. However in the month of June I received a bill of Rs 450 which I paid as the agent who used to collect bill did not come for the previous months. Again in the month of July I receive a bill of Rs 450!! On checking with the customer care in Shankar Nagar Raipur[protected] they told me that they had received only Rs 150 from the agent in June. Since the agent had not put his signature on the june bill, I was being held liable! I told them to confirm with the agent, but they did not do so. I was told the extra money would be refunded to me in next bill.
            Since I was shifting and the new place did not allow for cable I went again on August 8 to the customer care service where I applied for disconnection. When I asked about the extra payment the customer care agent / head (Ms. Parveen or so she told) was very rude. She told 'Ab to disconnect ho gaya, ab kuch nahi milega!!' What kind of sentence is that!!
            I do not need the money, but this kind of behavior has made me a permanent antagonist of Ortel.
            Even the customer care is so rude that I am amazing how this type of Company allow by the Government.

              I HAD DISCONNECTED Internet TEMPORARY.
              I HAD MADE AN ADVANCE PAYMENT OF Rs.665.
              I WANTED TO DISCONNECT MY CONNECTION PERMANENTLY BUT I WAS TOLD BY THE ORTEL EXECUTIVE THAT THE ADVANCE AMOUNT WOULD NOT BE REFUNDED
              I DO NOT WANT THE REFUND BUT I WANT THAT MY ADVANCE TO BE ADJUSTED IN ANOTHER CONNECTION.
              ALSO BEFORE GIVING ADVANCE I WAS NOT TOLD THAT IT IS NON REFUNDABLE.

              PLEASE TELL ME WHAT CAN IT BE DONE.

              ortel communication — Refund not received

              In had taken the Internet Broadband connection of Ortel communication in Bhubaneswar. I had paid 1200 Rs as security charges.I was communicated that if i cut the connection within a year & return all the devices, then 750Rs/ of security money will be refunded.I have returned all the devices in the ortel office bhubaneswar & provided my communication address. They said your money will be sent via check at your address within a month. But, now its 4 months & I haven't received any check.

              Kindly help.
              You wont receive it any more, they take the money for the modem from you assuring that you get it in cheque but dont pay it. its there monopoly.
              TODAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE EXECUTIVE AND HE SAID THAT HE WILL TRY TO DO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENT & AND TOLD ME TO GIVE IN WRITTEN THAT PROBLEM IS RESOLVED.

              BUT STILL HE SAYING IS SAYING TO CALL HIM WHEN I MAKE THE NEXT PAYMENT & THEN ONLY HE WILL TRY.

                Our TV cable ID no. = 733151 & Internet ID no. = 758058.
                Sir our complaint is about the loose service of ortel communications. In the 24th Jan 2011 I had connected TV cable from ortel & in march last week I had connected internet from the same . The company gave offer to reduce the TV cable charges Rs. 170 instead of Rs. 220 if we connect both the connections but a fter billing they refused to give discount amount and they suggest me to complain Bhubaneshwar office .

                I request you to please refund our discount money which taken by your Ortel office , Raipur .

                  Dear Sir,

                  This is bring to your notice that i am a customer of Ortel Communication having Ortel Setup Box which was installed in feb month 011.I have paid all necessary installation fee as well as monthly fee on time but from last three days its not working...getting msg that please inster smart card i have complained to ortel customer care regarding the same but its three days gone no action has been taken by them. They only used to give assurance that it will get ok in 30 min. Its almost 15 times i have called them in these three days but there is no response from their side.I asked them that if they cant make this ok its better to take their Setup box back and return my money stll there is no response from there side. My Customer ID is 00746118.

                    my user id is 740961 in ortel communication and i am a student live in bhilai. i am using
                    this connection since three months. when i was to take this
                    connection, mr. sanjeev das who is chief of bhilai branch, told me
                    that i'll have to pay rs 3300/- if i don't want to pay connection
                    charge which is rs 749/- and this amount (rs 3300/-) will be refunded
                    when i'll disconnect this connection within six months after
                    deduction of your bill only which could be 599/- per month. his
                    employee mr. aneesh came to me and connected this connection. now i
                    want to disconnect this because my use is completed. i have gone to bhilai office and mr. sanjeev das told me that he will not refund
                    any remaining balance to me. mr aneesh told him that he has to refund
                    his remaining balance after deduction of three months bill. mr sanjeev
                    das did not agree with him and told me that do what you want i'll not
                    refund the balance. mr sanjiv das cheated with me. i just want my remaining balance refunded.

                      Dear Sir,
                      It is matter of regret that the I have committed a mistake by taking the ORTEL CONNECTION. Your service is so poor that you are unable to provide the cause list of Orissa High court immediately. Those who have taken the BSNL and other connection except ORTEL, are immediately getting the cause list preferably at about 7 P.M. So far your performance is concerned I am getting the same at 11 or 12 AM. Please do the needful immediately taking it as urgent other wise I will be pleased enough if service is disconnected immediately. The Bar is discussing about your performance. I have already intimated the above fact to the BBSR office over phone. but no response. If the defect pointed is not removed then all the advocates those who have taken your service will be pleased enough to disconnect their supply on their own.

                            I have taken a connection from ORTEL Communication bhubaneswar. I have paid for the MODEM of TERAYON (Rs 1700/-) at the time of connection. Now when i have disconnected the ORTEL BROADBAND connection ,they are asking me to deposit the MODEM, however they are not ready to pay back the money and receipt of the modem. They are asking me to deposit the modem free of cost.
                            Its a matter of great shame for the company like ORTEL, they are not contacting me, but constantly disturbing my parents.

                              Ortel is one of the worst services provider...i will not recommend any one to go for it...i am facing the same problem...from last three days i am complaning regarding Tv Cabel that there is no signal and getting the msg please insert smart card...after making all the payments on time why such problem occurs god knows...how they are working...all the time they only used to say will get ok in 30 min...when their 30 min will get over this only their employees can tell...i will only say that some authorities are needed to take strict ation against them...why they are sleeping after getting so much complain against them...
                              my broadband communication is very slow. my friends have connection of same but way too faster. there connection speed is 200mbps and download speed is more than 100kbps whereas my connection speed is only 10mbps and download speed is hardly reaching 30kbps. please take some action, i live in dolphin hill in Visakhapatnam.

                                  My Ortel connection for broadband Customer # 561258 In new town Rajarhat Kolkata West bengal 700156 was disconnected in July 2010 and I am yet to get my refund check of Rs. 1750/-. I have made multiple follow ups with first the store which gave me the connection, then with Karthik Das who was responsible for handle my billing, and then an accounting department @[protected]. I was told I will get in October, and then in November 1st week I was given a date of 27th when I can collect this. Even Today -no update is received. I had written several times to the area head Jaidip banerjee but with no results.. They have taken me through the harrassment of my life, I have spent more money in talking to different people.

                                    I am taking Ortel Digital tv in Dec-2010 But now I am very dissapointed on your sevice. I am coplained many time in your office in betten 5 month but the problem could not solve. Ortel did not give the quality picture than the other digital communication. So I think I will change my service from ortel to other.

                                        I am an Ortel Broadband + Cable TV user in Rourkela Orissa. We have taken the Broadband connection 4-5 months back and facing a lot of problems. The internet is discontinuous in supply at my home but at the same time my friends in their home using the same service do have the internet. On calling the Customer care most of the time they just take the complaint and never ever try to resolve the problem or call back or never even send a person. Today on calling Customer care I got to talk to Ms. Madhu who instead of hearing what my problem is and how will it be solved tell that my complaint history consists of different things and only when I am facing problem I should call them.

                                        Now when I have problem and call them they fail to correct it. My problem is the internet is highly discontinuous sometimes it comes and then goes again for some hour which they fail to understand.

                                        Poor Service + Poor Analytical capability to even analyse the root problem and provide right service.
