I gave the complain about modem offline, but no one is taking the action.
The customer care are very poor at giving the reasons, some of them dont know the issue and they always says that technician will resolve the issue by evening but nothing happens, even i send the mail to the appellate authority and the nodal officers but no response from their side even their contact numbers are kept busy all the times. Overall internet service is not constant, and their customer peoples are not good, even if the higher authority are not disciplined to give the customer satisfaction. Its very very pathetic...

At the time of connection the speed was good but as the time passes away the speed is reduced very much...I complaint daily from 5-6 days but m not satisfy with speed...if it's not been solved then I have to change my connection..

    I have deposited 1900.00. With customer no/id 1479882 for internet conection on 8 aug 16, but till the date i have not get the connection. So many times i have called the ortel office but rrsult is nil. It has altrady crossed more than 10 days but i am not geyting connection. Even due to waiting for the connection man i cannot go anywhere. Only i am waiting in my home.

      I have not received my net service for nearly a month or more. Despite so many complaints there is not even a single action taken by your people. I mean what in the world are these guys doing. Every time i go to book a complain the assure me that yes sir your problem will be dealt with but the result is nothing. I am done with u people. If i am not getting my internet connection within the next 48hrs then i will have no option left but to disconnect your services

        Sir,
        I surrendered my ortel broadband connections with ortel id 00928339 in apr 2013 & another connection with ortel id 00980411 in apr 2015. I was supposed to get a refund of rs 2000/- (Rs 1, 000/- for each connection) against both the connections. At the time of surrender i provided my bank account number for refund. But neither i could get refund in my account nor got a cheque. I contacted ortel office in vizag by phone and via e-mail several times for the same. However they are not giving any answer to it. Every time they are writing my complain without any complaint number. I contacted their head office in bhubaneswar through phone call. But in their record, i am not supposed to get any refund. However, ortel office in visakhapatnam have got record for my refund. The ortel office address in visakhapatnam is: -
        "ortel cable and broadband services, 1st floor, shipika building, naval park, scindia junction, post - gandhigram, visakhapatnam - 530014

        Presently i am posted in mumbai and unable to visit their office physically. I could not get any positive response from their vizag office whose phone number is[protected].

          Till date even after so many calls we feel ashamed to recall the ortel cc for resolution customer complaints wrt internernet services.

          I wrote to ortel group and they have nothing to say about the below communication:
          Dear cto/ceo,
          Please look at your team performance and evaluate the way you take care of your customer and make your company to better stand as a unique inter net and other telecom service provider at odisha and other parts of india.
          Note:
          None of your web site help line/cc/any headers open.
          Your customer care team is very rude and do nothing with an ownership. (You are just keeping them for no cause).
          Tech staff is your kra.
          Resolution time is worth negative.
          I feel ashamed off to call so many number of times...
          Please evaluate.
          Make your self responsible for the down line performance then ownership will come up.
          Wish you to see on top of it.

              I have lost my ortel internet connection since past 1week. It is highly disappointed that there is no response till date. I booked complaint on 8th and assured of its rectification by evening. Again on 9th i approached your office but the same assurances without result till this hours. Prior to that on advise of your billing staff informed me to take the modem to service station of ortel near mausima chaka for frequency adjustment that i did on 7th with no result. Hope this complaint would result something.

                Sir, i am going to take ortel connection for using internet at my home. I have purchased new modem (Motorola) and a router (D link with wi-fi). But the agent of ortel contacted me and told only the product which is purchased from ortel only can be used and received rs 1300 from me for router and other accessories and data for the month. Is this correct and why it is. My purchased item will go on waste if i am not using them. Second thing no one from ortel came to me for connection till today 8-8-16. When i asked about customer care number, that boy's behaviour was quite rude. (Like, don't disturbed me till tomorrow). Sir, i don't want to take action on any one.                   Dear sir,
                  I am a customer in sambalpur town (Back side of seva nurshing home, shakhipada). I have paid my dues regularly but your service is very poor.In a month 15days there is no signal. No body intersted to solve this problem only came regularly to collect the monthly dues. If you do not want to give us proper service pl. Disconnect my connection and refund my deposit money immediately against your setup box. Pl. Take this matter seriously other wise i shall go to consumer court.

                      In a month out of 30 days, 20 days you have to call customer care for no signal complain. Even the customer care folks are amazing, they just take your complain, say the already written apology script and do nothing. You just have to keep on following up with them and end up banging your head as they just do nothing. Its been 5 days theres no signal complaint registered from our side, still no one shows up to fix the problem. I don't know how this people are doing business as i feel its just pure cheating on their customers.

                        I have taken one ortel broadband on 15th june-2016 at my residence, the plan was rental 999 with 15gb download with 10mbps speed.

                        To my surprise, i have never got speed more than 120 kbps, i have complained many a times however every time the compliant gets closed without any resolution.

                        My cust id is : 01464368.

                        Kindly look into the same, if the problem is not resolved within next 12 hrs, kindly disconnect this connection effective 2nd august and i will be responsible for any futher payments.

                        I case if this is not resolved, and the connection is not disconnected, i will be bound to put a consumer case of mental harassment.

                            I am Somnath Patnai, S/O R Sankar Rao on whose name we have our cable connection.
                            We have 250 INR package per month, which covers subscription of all channels provided by ortel.
                            After availing set up box :
                            During first month: They discontinued telecasting MTV
                            2nd Month: etv and news channel CNN IBN
                            and subsequently National Geographic Channel (NGC) and its sister channels, History channel. Now they stopped almost 20 channels which were promised and the list includes some most viewed channels like Star Sports 1, 2, 3&4, CNN IBN, NGC, MTV etc. They used to stop telecasting, re programing and re arranging channels frequently which is quiet annoying.
                            Not only that the service also fails to provide audio to multiple channels. Our miseries don't stop here, there is an area called Raja bazar when ever they don't have power supply our broadcasting stops despite of having UPS and set up box.
                            NB: We complained about this to service boy he said some are fixed and some will be fixed soon, but honestly none are fixed.

                            Therefore, I request you to please help me by enforcing him to repay my set up box and its installation charges or please force him to fix all his problems.
                            NB: These are problems we are facing from last 6 months .

But i have not been receiving service since last two days. Please look into the matter urgently. My complaint no. is 4363054.

                              I am a subscriber of ortel broadband . MEMBERSHIP No.[protected]. since last 5 mth.

                              i had subscribed a plan of 1 Mbps but since the very beginning day of installation i am yet not getting the speed, as i had lodged end number of complaints but worthless. and top to it in a month there will be near about 10 to 12 days the modem gets offline and it is resolved after a day.after giving a complaint.

                              one more new category of services i had seen unbelievable whenever you lodge a complaint you get a message that "your complaint is resolved " automatically at the evening. but in truth it is not solved or nobody had given you a call or visited your place.

                              and at last when the person comes to take the bill he says he is only the bill collector, he cannot do any thing about the problem.

                              i had asked many times to the customer care to provide me the number of the local office but they are not authorized to it as per the conversion, if you ask them to connect to the higher authority whom i can talk to and tell them my problem they dont provide as they are not authorize to do so.

                              i am writing this complaint in this form to inform the higher officials to kindly solve my problem, i am not writing this for any negative review.

                              and at last i would request you that you have a brand name dont spoil it by doing such thing and hassling the customers.

                              My self customer No.00321700 of Broad Band. In a month 10days I am not getting broad band facilities though I am paying an amount of Rs.970/- regularly per month. Due to disturbance in connection I am loosing my official works. Being annoyance now I want to disconnect this broad band which is of no use.                                 I have subscribed to tv + broadband combo plan of ortel and i pay 850/- per month. Customer no. 235162 (N sahoo, divya vihar). Few days back they disconnected the internet for a period of 15 days and the technician took so much time to correct it. After a few days again internet service was absent for 3 days. We lodged complaints in consumercomplaints.In after which they woke up from their sleep and did something constructive. Now they are demanding full money of last month from us which we didn't agree with and we paid 500/- which is definitely more than what service we are getting. Now they have cut the tv and their representative is replying in favour of paying the full money. But i dont see why i would pay for a thing that i've not consumed! Plz help. Ortel communications should convince me why i should pay otherwise restore our connection.

                                  I had lodged a complaint against ortel few days back for discontinuity in internet service for a period of 15 days. After lodging a complaint here they resolved the problem and i closed the complaint here too. Now they are again creating problem by disconnecting the internet since 2 days. Ortel is frequently disconnecting the internet since a month and i dont think they are really doing anything to sort this out permanently. After lodging complaint in consumercomplaints.In they come with such entreaty to take it back. But i wonder why they dont give their customers good service. When we warn the technician about lodging a formal complaint he encourages us to go ahead but shows no interest in solving the problem at the earliest. Please help me!

                                    I had been given to understand that i would be required to pay almost rs. 460/- per month for the combo plan of tv and broadband connection limited to 1 gb. my use of internet is very limited to the extent of viewing the high court cause list, and browsing of indiankanoon website for finding out the judgments and booking of train tickets for me. usually i was paying this amount on the earlier occasions but this time, it has been rs. 721/-. please find out the justification of the same and communicate me. since i had availed this service through your agents only, i was not informed properly about the scheme given to me - hence please inform me the scheme that has been given to me.inform also whether any other economical combo scheme is available with you.

                                      No cable service person came till date to repair and resolve the issue, although payment is made regularly.

                                      Regular follow ups is also made since june 2016 but the customer care person are only keeping the complain, there is no further action on it.

                                      The facility is stopped since february 2016, but there is no solution to it. payment has been made regularly.

                                        My customer id is-363875, i am from khurda. after installtion of set top box & modem for internet with in a month both are not working several time. i have done several times complaint in there customer care & without rectifying the complaint they updated & i also received the sms that your compaint is resolved or rectified.
                                        The worst service they are providing here. i want to close my account & submit the set top box & modem to office & received my caution money asap.

                                        In 250 pack in digital set top box connection from last week we are not getting to watch any star channel. they also purchase colors for extra 14 rupees. as we are from middle class families we cannot disconnect it bcoz they also took 1000 rs. as registration. please help us.also the customercare is not responding as well...
                                        No is listening the complaint neither attending the complaint I think ortel communication is paying salary. I feel they are not bother for their brand name
