hello sir/madam, i applied for my passport on 16th nov 2010...police enquery has been completed now the status of my passport is displaying like "due to unvoidable circumstances the dspatch o[censored] r passport will delay for week's time" form 1month it is displaying like tha only now i need my passport very urgebty so can any one tel;l me how to collect my passport can we collect it by going directly to the passport office.?pls provide the necessary information regaurding this...pls hepl me i need my passport its very unrgent for me now..

I have applied for a Pass port (fresh) in the month of July 2010 and it was granted for further police verification but it has been almost 6 and half months and there is no response from any kind form the police authority’s when I called to the customer care they informed me that my file as transferred to RAMANAGAR SP OFFICE FOR POLICE VERIFICATION I had been to RAMANAGAR and informed about my PASSPORT, but they told that my file has not been yet sent their office but it’s still in Bangalore office.

I here by requesting you to kindly have a look on my status of my passport.

Passport Application of Roshen Mascarenhas has been rejected because of father's name change inspite of proving the same through official Gazette published in the year 2003.

My name Shri Miguel Pedro Santana Mascarenhas has already been published in official gazette SERIES III
No. 52 in year 28th march 2002 and changed my name from "minguel Pedro Santana Mascarenhas" to "Peter Mascarenhas" under the goa change of name and surname Act, 1990(Act 8 of 1990) and by the Sub Registrar of Quepem Goa

And Accordingly Form B(See Rule 3) Certirficate sub section (4) of section 3 had been issued to me changing my name to Peter mascarenhas.

It appears that Officer in the Goa Passport department does not understand the meaning of an official Gazette and Form "B" issued by the by the Sub Registrar Quepem ,Goa and this amounts to harassment next to mental tortures to the concerned and public at large. Can Some Competent Authority in Goa can explain to that Passport officer concerned that this gazatte once published cannot be challenged. For challenging a gazatte means challenging the state assembly of Goa.

Such officers should be demoted for misguiding the public and passport department be asked to issue the passport immediately with the party concerned.

I have applied my passport in october 2009it has been more than 3 months.Till now i have not received my passport.Police verification was completed and there are no additional things required for them from my end.

I varun Bansal Son of Ramesh Kr Bansal residing at 9 munshi bazaar road kolkata- 700015. P.S: Entally, P.O: Tangra, since birth. I have submitted my passport application as on 02nd February 2010.I has submitted all the documents required will applying for the passport. Till date 4 to 5 times I have visited to passport regional office. When I visited as on 27th of December to the RPO Officer (Mr. P.K.Ghose), he said that as per the updated report the police verification report of kolkata have already received but as because I stayed in Songadh (Gujrat) for official purpose for around 6 months verification report not received from there. I did a mistake in the application form in the Qualification column by mistaken I have written home study instead of B.Com Graduation.


As per my knowledge my police report from Kolkata is cleared & from Gujarat I have conformed over the phone that they have sended in the month of December 2010.As I did the mistake in the application form I did a first class magistrate Affidavit which certified that I am B.Com Graduate from Calcutta university which was instructed by P.K.Ghosh (RPO Officer) as on 27th December.


Presently I am working with T.C.S (Kolkata) and company is asking me to update my passport details so kindly let me know what I should do to get my passport.

Hello,

This is regarding the wrong name printed in my father’s passport. We had applied for the New passport. Ref No. is : SUR-B01409510.

We have also check and verify the forms before applying there was no mistake in filling form but When we have received the passport (J3917964) Mother’s name and Wife’s Name is same. Mother’s name is wrongly printed.

When my father went to passport office surat, and met Mr. M C. Kadva he told now again you will have to apply for passport.

My question is why we waste our money and time again when we had provided the proper information?. And is there any guarantee that they will not make the same mistake again. Should I ask information(scan copy of my form) in RTI ?.

We need correct Passport as there is no mistake in filling the form.

dear sir, my name is sangeetha nayar im a singapore passport holder now residing in ludhiana punjab. i had got issued passport for my daughter nitya in august 2004 .but when we recieved there was an error in the surname which was later given for correction in 2006 .after that for one year there was no contact from the kozhikode passport office.when i went directly and met the officer in charge and asked for the passport. they showed it to me and said since u don't reside here in kerala we'l forward it to chandigarh passport office.which hasn't been done so far bacause when we personally went to chandigarh they said they have not recieved our file.the passport got expired last august sir i just want to know whether i can apply for a new passport for my daughter here from chandigarh passport office which is nearest showing our local ludhiana address .pls do reply

This is P.V.DevaDutt, i am writing this e-mail in a great vain, i have applied for passport on August 21,2010 at General Post office (GPO) at Abids, Hyderabad and the File Reference Number : HYD-W[protected] and after few weeks the police verification is done i.e on September 27,2010.

But still i haven't receive my Passport, its been almost 4 months since i applied and i have no clue when i get the Passport. I checked my status at http://passportstatus.nic.in/passmain.php?city=hyd

Unfortunately my status shows as ''Police Report has not been received.'' Its been more than two months since the verification is done.

Please help me on this.

under Section 80U of Income Tax Act, along with my wife, Sabita Maitra and my minor daughter, applied
to Regional Passport Office, Kolkata for issuance of Passport, duly under Ref. A079199 dt.17.9.2010 under
Key No. [protected], A085695 dt. 07.10.10 under Ke No. [protected] and F019195 dt.12.10.2010 under
Key No. [protected].

I was, on 19.11.2010, asked by local P.S. Baranagar of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal to attend the
Police Station with all documents of myself, my wife and my daughter for police verification. On 22.11.2010,
I went there along with these documents. Subsequently, my documents were checked, verified, xerox
copies of various documents wrere received by them and a IP No.36038 was allotted to me. After around
10 (ten) days, my wife, Sabita Maitra, was again asked to visit that Police Station and asked to submit required documents.
She deposited xerox copies of her voters' card, pan card, BSNL telephone bill (as address proof verification),
ration card, bank statement and address proof. But she was unnecessarily harassed by way of requiring
her father's death certificate, mothers voter card, deed before birth and electric bill. These are very ridiculous
and definitely with the purpose of some ill motive behind it. And they have not provided her further IP No.
My minor daughter, Swagata Maitra has not yet, however, been asked to attend the Poloice Station so far.

I am a physically handicapped person under Section 80U of Income Tax Act and a resident under Baranagar Police Station of North 24 Parganas and a resident of 87/51 A.K. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata 700090. I have applied for passport under receipt Nos.File No.A085695,A079199 and F019195 (for myself, my wife and my minor daughter). After a month, I was asked by Baranagar P.S. to attend them with all documents of myself, my wife and daughter. However, they have gone through and allotted a IP No. 36038. After about 10 days from that date, my wife was asked to go to the above P.S. and unneccesarily detained and asked to submit electric bill, father's death certificate and deed of her parental house etc. I do not know the purpose of such harassment when she already submitted xerox copies of Voters Card, Pan Card, ration card, bank statment, academic qualification etc. I have never heard from any friend/relative of mine such way of requirement. Now again, my minor daughter may again be asked to submit such documents in near future.

I have applied for passport with file reference number A051329, for which police verification and everything completed. And the Status in the online has been changed that "Police Report is clear and the passport is expected to be despatched by[protected]. Subject to all documents being in order." Its already 20 days over.Dont have much updates on this.

Please try to find the updates on this anf try to get it with in a week time so..

Dear Sir,

When there is an application for new passport, 1) Address Proof is required (Only one document), 2) Proof of date of birth (One Doc), remaining documents for passport are annexures. These are the instruction published in the website www.passport.gov.in.

Where as practically, 3-4 documents of Address proof and MOR certificate is demanded. Why this is being demanded.In addition, If you do not have one document of above then you are required to provide some money as bribe.

Telephone bill provided by BSNL is not sufficient ? ID Card provided by Post Office is not sufficient ?

What image is there in front of PASSPORT of BSNL and INDIAN POST ?

I ,Kavita Bisht, have applied for fresh passport at bangalore one center (Airport Road) on July ,18th 2010, but still no police verification has been done.

When personally visited to RPO Bangalore on 18th Oct 2010, I was told that that police verification file has been resent on 5th Oct. 2010 but still no action was taken.I had already enquired the status (2-3 times) at Jeevan bhima nagar police station and Police Commissioner office (Infantry road) and found that they had not received any file.

After that I visited the RPO bangalore on 4th Nov. 2010 and this time I was told that file has not been sent for Police verification and they asked me to write an application to request for police verification.
Still my police verification is pending. And it seems endless pain to visit RPO Bangalore and commissioner office.

I request you to please help in the same regard.

Awaited for CPR”.
Hence I request you to take the necessary steps to process my passport application form as soon as possible.

My name is Tamilselvam Vijayakumar, from chennai Tiruvottiyur.
I came to India from Saudi on one month leave. When I got Visa early on 10.10.2010, I apply for ECNR entry at passport office, chennai. They said that my passport is damaged and hence applied for New passport through Tatkal Scheme. By late I received after submission of my old passport and applied for ECNR entry in New passport, There is still no response from their side though I visited several times and letter submitted many times by spending my all holidays at more stress at passport office only,. This is my life problem my company is providing great opportunity to work in Dubai office (not through contract). My visa is going to expire on 10.11.2010. Sir is there is any possibility to file a complaint against the passport office at chennai. These people are playing with many peoples like me and they kept our lives at risk. For Deepawali they are taking leave 2 days before. The government people if they work properly there is no need to suffer of peoples like me. Please solve this matter urgently and help me. Am still waiting in the passport office for want of passport now.

But whenever I check for the status of our passport applications on the internet , always the message " Police Report has not been received " is displayed by the website .
