I have requested Paytm payments bank to close my saving account, but they are refusing to close my savings account.

I have not used any of their banking service for the last 3 years and now they are saying they need to recover negative balance to close the account. I have opened the account as it was having 0 balance facility without any MAB Charges and Applied for the debit card as it was mentioned Lifetime free, but they have changed these terms, and I was informed on these changes.

I am filing a complaint here as a last resort before filing complaint with Banking ombudsman and consumer forum as they don't even have a proper complaint solving system like other banks.

          AT ABOUT 8.28 AM on 20.8.2023, Rs. 450 was debited to my PAYTM Wallet (UPI Id. [protected]@paytm) and shown credited to Phone No. [protected] of Pebbati Shiva Kumar, merchant. Whereas the merchant says no BANK ACCOUNT is linked to his phone and he does not deal with PAYTM.

          I immediately contacted through APP Support and conveyed the issue to the PAYTM. However, with pre-recorded messages the PAYTM Cust service has been playing havoc with me. I asked for credit details of the relative accounts of the merchant or reverse the transaction as the merchant said he does not have any paytm / Bank account linked to his phone. The PAYTM IVR service is such a horrible service, which totally one sided and the cust care system is horrible and it seems to harass the customer than resolving the issues.

                      I was a bit busy with my work that's why I am late in sending this reply mail.Let me come to my point I pay my credit card bill on the 10th Because my credit card due date on the 11th, The thing is my payment was successful unfortunately when I look at PAYTM application it shows as processing, the same time when I chatted with Paytm they said your payment is successful it will take two days to reflect in your credit card account. Moreover we consider the date on which you made the payment.Meanwhile I have contacted you many times as well as chatted with you through your twitter but it took me a long time to get a reply.Finally on 15th I got a doubt when I checked with HDFC bank and they charged me around Rs 3000 as payment late fee and GST. You need to understand one thing My funds were debited on the 10th and have not been credited to my credit card on the 15th and I have not received my funds https://t.co/0xzepylZb6 many times have I chatted with you? No one is giving me relevant reply from your side, How many times I told you if you delay my payment I will have to pay extra amount to HDFC bank and that amount should be paid by Paytm itself, the details of my chat with you are still there. Even after the 15th I didn't get my money and I didn't get a correct reply from Paytm. so I settled that credit card bill after borrowing money from mY FRIENDS. I thought my money was lost ! after that when I checked in Paytm is there any way get money back because am really tensed ! that time I saw a refund option so I clicked on the refund option.

                      Even then I got my funds back after 10 days.Those days I couldn't pay much attention even to my work because my money was gone . May be You have no idea how much tension I felt during those times I dont know even whom to ask, PAYTM not giving me proper response, anyway come to the point , I knew that someday you would call me regarding this matter and then at least I wanted you to tell me about my troubles and the stress and tension that I have gone through. It's not like what Paytm did to me, still whenever your executive calls me, I respond correctly. Anyway, it's a pleasure to be able to inform you of these things, one more thing Yesterday your executive told me that this happened because the funds did not go from my account on 10th ! but I will send you the full details on 10th itself the funds debit details from my account.. I will give you back your funds! even though you have troubled me so much! but I will not give you the funds that I gave to HDFC Bank . Because You are the only one who responsible for the HDFC Bank payment delay and I don't have to pay for your mistake. Either I will send you my account details and you can transfer a 3000rupees to my account or I will deduct 3000 rupees From 30000 and transfer the balance 27000 to you. I hope you show at least that much courtesy to a customer who has gone through so much mental trouble because of you, please confirm the same and reply me through the mail

                        The payment of 25000 INR was made on 26 February 2022.
                        The amount debited from sender's account but we still haven't received it.
                        We have contacted PayTM Several times regarding the same but no solution has been provided by them, as they keep saying Transaction reference isn't avaiable however we have provided all the available information on the same.
                        Request you to help us getting the amount credited in our account.
                        If any document or proof is required from our side we can share that on mail as it is highly confidential.

I raised ticket through a personal loan 24x7 help channel from the app but that chat does not work for me, I tried that too but still my issue is not resolved.

                            Paytm charging convince charges on valut tranction too ..today i feel fuel on petrol pump by using postpaid facility, paytm charged me 3 rs for transction of 300₹ ..during paytm paostpid bill payment they also applied convince fees for users ..then why they are charging convince fee on transctions too ..its wrong

                                  Refund amount from Amazon is not reflected on my Paytm bank account

                                  I have ordered an Armani watch from Amazon worth rs17, 495. But I have received an incorrect order so I made a return and asked for a refund. As the mistake is from Amazon they accepted the return and initiated a refund on June 20, 2023. Amazon confirmed that they sent the money to my bank account but I haven't received any money into the Paytm payments bank account. Amazon provided me the refund reference number to verify with Paytm but...

                                  My Vistara Flight, Raipur to Delhi (PNR 6KZJ8B), Travel date 18 June 23, 20:20, booked through Paytm was cancelled by the Airlines. I was provided with an option to claim my full refund. I contacted Paytm Travel customer care but there has been no response to my query raised on paytm claiming the full refund. I talked to the paytm customer care agent too and they said refund would be provided but it has been more than 10 days. And now I’m unable to contact them through call. They send a link to open a chat on the app in which they never reply.

                                      They showed 50/- cashback on the purchase of above 500/- on some items. I purchased 924/- worth items from the offered category but even after 1 day, I haven't received the cashback in my wallet. I think Paytm should ban in India as they miscommitted earlier too but I took it lightly. I am planning to go to consumer court.
