On 20 July, I made a purchase from NICHE. I used my email id as well as UPI to complete the transaction.
However, once the UPI transaction was complete, the email regarding successful transaction went to the person whose number I had added.
The surprising thing is that I never added that person's name or email id anywhere. My email id was mentioned and it was my UPI. But I never received any emails from PAyU. Instead, an account whose id and name was never mentioned received it!
How did Pay U get the the name and the email id of that person?
It's very surprising and raises many security concerns

• Scan copy of bank statement indicating the debit for the required transaction.
• Transaction date along with the amount.
• Email id or phone number used for processing the transaction.
• First 6 and last 4 digits of your card.
• UPI / VPA if any used
