I booked a maruthi omni cargo on 3 june 2016 by paying rs. 3000/- with popular vehicles cherthala, branch of popular vehicles, eranakulam (dealer code 2701 and customer docket no. ekm 8953. they promised me that they will deliver the vehicle within 10 days. they told me that the vehicle has arrived in kochi and they have demanded rs. 37, 000 more on 9 june 2016 and i gave a cheque for rs. 37, 000 (no. 787476 of punjab national bank, chennam pallippuram branch) dated 10 june 2016. i happened to know that maruti has stopped the production and on inquiry with the dealer i didn't get a clear reply so i stopped the payment on 14 june 2016. but even after that they presented my cheque on 16 june 2016 with a clear intention of cheating and because of my instruction to the bank they couldn't realize the cheque. i approached all the concerned officials of the popular vehicles but they didn't bothered to tell me the truth. also so far they neither delivered the vehicle nor returned my booking amount. so it is a clear case of cheating and i luckily escaped from the payment of rs. 37, 000 more they demanded with a clear intention of cheating. also they are well aware that they cannot produce a omni cargo and they booked with a false promise. actually my buisiness is suffering of the non availability of the vehicle. so i may request you to kindly instruct your dealer to repay my booking fee of rs. 3000 with a sufficient compensation against the intention of the cheating and my loss in the business. if i am not getting my grievance solved, i will go to consumer court and also i will publish this case in all medias including social medias. i remain with a hope that as a reputed organisation you have the responsibility to solve my grievance with utmost priority.

    My name is glory shanthakumar mobile no [protected] i brought new maruti swift car TN02 BC 0979 june 2015 at popular maruti annanagar chennai sales person name Dinesh on the day i said need car with MRF tyre but the person gave me car with appolo tyre, the sales person said the tyre is guarantee, after two month the Tyre is blast on the running condition and then i inform to the sales person no response again i check the showroom they said the sales person Dinesh left the job, then i contact customer service manager mr Anand and i explain all the details and handover the tyre to him he sent the complaint to the appolo tyre . They simply said 'its not a manufacturing defect' Even 300 kilometer a tyre not worth then why the company was suggest the tyre, the company knows in our city there is no good road, you only advertise in any road the tyre will good but now the company said like this, finally we only suffer for this .. So please accept my complaint and do the favour as soon as possible.. otherwise i file a complaint against the popular maruti and appolo tyres.

      Sir, I purchased a Maruti Wagon R (Lxi) from Popular Vehicles at Alappuzha outlet, which is under Ernakulam region.From the very beginning itself I have faced irresponsible attitudes from the part of salesmen and authorities of this outlet. At the time when I reached there taking delivery, the car was not at all washed and on my enquiry, they took it for washing and after two hours the car was delivered with scratches at the left door and the car was still running under that condition. At the time of enquiry, before the purchase of Wagon R, they offered me a sum of Rs.8000 as "exchange offer" as this was the main attraction behind opting Popular vehicles Ltd, Alappuzha. At the time of delivery, I remitted the above amount on condition that it will be refunded within two weeks, but still after two months, no step has been taken for the refund. I also made a complaint to Popular office, Ernakulam, but it was in vain. So kindly take necessary steps to resolve my compalint as early as possible. Thanking You.. Yours faithfully
      We give full amount but car had not delivered yet.they said they deliverd on September 4 but the car was not deliverd yet.they have no responsability in delivering
      Popular Maruti, Saligramam, Chennai has charged my highest possible rate. For my first servicing of flooded vehicle they charged me around 2 lakhs. After 6 months they charged me around 10K replacing the same parts which they has already replaced. They are trying to cheat me and damaging Maruti image. Please call me to discuss this

        Service and product (Especially mileage and performance) - at its worst

        1. Why is it required to do wheel alignment and had to replace ACfilter within 2months of purchase and it is charged INR 1744 for this, despite having warranty and free service eligibility. I would want to know what is the quality of the product maruti releases in the market which needs spend of so much and such basic things to be done for brand new car. It is the least we would expect from the brand image maruti has in the market.

        Date of incident :11th oct 2015 client id :i[protected] invoice no. :br15009912 after repeated reminders from the popular vehicles and services pvt ltd., finally i gave my car(kl 07 ap 6262 - zen) for service on 11th oct.(sunday). Afternoon i bought the car home and to my dismay i found the glass of my right side headlight broken. Immediately i called up the service center. They claimed that it was not their mistake and me to bring the car immediately for repair. Again the same day i went to the service center. The service personal kept on arguing that such an incident was not happened from there. For the past 13 years i am using this car and not even once an accident has occurred. When i told of complaining that person told that it can't be repaired as there was no spare part available at the moment. I felt that it was said purposely. I want a refund for the glass of my headlight.

        From the point of delivery till service nothing they will support and behave like thugs. Don't treat customers properly and will use your car prior to your delivery and say yeah it's done so what can be done now.
        Stay away from these guys or you'll have the worst experience of your life.

          From, Naisam.B Kakkattu kunnum puram pallickal Mob:[protected] To, Popular vehicles And service pvt LTD H&c compound, Mundakkal West, kollam Ph.[protected] Dear Reference: KL-16-G 8471 On 30.07.15 I asked you to service the above vehicle Maruti alto LXI When I collected the vehicle from you on 03.08.15, I was told that you had carried out a “full service”, had diagnosed faults like ac fault, painting, tyre rotation, viper etc and had put these right.But No action on the complaints mentioned in the job card . I am really disappointed with the service; first the amount of inconvenience caused was immense because of the delay. Second the car was not delivered in the proper condition request you to look into the matter and refund the amount.The bill for this work was Rs.8610.another major one is staff behaviour like harasment, torchering etc . I look forward to receiving your cheque for Rs.8610, within the next 14 days.Should you fail to reimburse me, I shall have no alternative but to issue a claim against you in the county court for recovery of the money without further reference to you. However, in accordance with the Civil Procedure Pre-Action Protocol, I would be willing to refer my case to the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair, as I understand that they have a free conciliation and low cost independent arbitration scheme.             To Whom so it may concern I had purchased my Ritz from Popular motors, Kothamangalam on 5/3/15. From the very begining i am facing this problem during rainy season and night driving There are streaks on mine ritz windshield and when it's raining and we turn on the wipers they fog up. I don't know how to describe it but the streaks literally expand into this foggy crap. I tried wiping the streaks off even replaced the wiper Blades so many times but they won't go away. I also checked and it's not on the inside either.., every time when i complain They said sir wiper problem. i guess there is some manufacturing fault in the windshield, , from last month i am trying to approach the service centre, but they told me that they dont finds any complaints, hardly geting in response.its like my car is totally money waste in rainy season as well as in night.I need your support in this problem . please rectify it ASAP.                 given the car to them on 10th june 2015 Wagon R Car number TN-05-AQ-8273 name : G.MALATHI Given the car for insurance claim for damages... they have done the insurance damages within 5 days... and delivered the car on 17th June 2015, but the reverse camera and the indicator buzzer was not working which was working before, and also door buttons were missing. So they took back the car and said will finish the deliver in next day. But still the car was not delivered, keeping with them more than 3 days only for reverse camera problem. Everyday they are saying will deliver tomorrow. This is the first time given the car to popular and I really stressed out. Even now they are not picking up my calls. I dont know may be they are using my car for their personal use.

                  I am very much concerned about the quality & the completness of Car servicing by Popular. This is the second incident where i am required to change and replace my car battery since it got fully drained out due to insufficient battery water level. I had given my vehicle KL27A 9520 Dezire on 7th January 2015 to Popular Killipalam Trivandrum at 47k KM. It is normally expected that basic checks like battery water level tyre pressure etc will be taken care in a paid service but it is not. I seriously doubt whether they are in fact changing the ENGINE Oil or other Oils etc which are supposed to be changed at each due services or just doing a body wash and just raising invoices for all the oil changes & other works without doing it. This is the second time i am going to pay around 6500 for new battery within a time of 2years due to mere negligence from Popular.

                    To, The Manager Maruti Suzuki Ltd Plot # 1, Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. From Rajan T Viji Nivas, Mangattidom (Po) Kannur Dist, Kerala state India 670643. I am the owner of vehicle KL58 P1909. I purchased Alto 800 vxi from Popular in 27 Dec 2014 and got it registered in 06 January, 2015. Three months later, we observed a color difference with a yellow shade on both back and front bumpers (photo attached). We informed this to Popular who is the Maruti dealer at Thazhechovva in Kannur. We took the vehicle there and they inspected it and found that the complaint is genuine. We took the car to the same shop as instructed by the CRM over the phone. They promised me to fix the problem in one day, but they did not do in three days and due to this I could not go for my job duty. They gave me the car re-painted (Bumper) but there is a difference between the Bumper and car body in color. And the scratch paint was so dirty and tried to avoid a good job and get away from my car. They told me the painting motor is inoperable that is why painting is not good; when I asked about the painting. I told I need to get the car as new and need new bumper. I had to go to Popular for three days. They changed it finally and gave the car. When it is delivered the back panel light was loose, they put on a sticker when I asked about it. I approached Popular when the rear door lock had some problem. They fixed it. But I had to go there three times. And moreover it was making a weird noise inside the lock. The car met with an accident in May last week, I approached Popular and they sent a crane and took the vehicle. Next day I went to popular and then Mr. Athul who is the advisor told me I need to pay RS. 10000 for this and body shop manager told it will be RS.25000. I have taken insurance of Maruti bumper to bumper, it won’t cost this much. They were very angry when I asked them to replace with new bumper before and Mr.Subin yelled at me seemed like he was going to hit me. I asked about crane money, Mr.Subin behaved very badly with me as he was not going to get his commission. He joins with crane people and get his commission money. Popular did not take care of my vehicle well. They will purposely delay attending my car. So, frustrated with the behavior of Mr. Subin and others, I took my car to Indus Motors calling a crane. Because; I lose a lot of time and peace of mind due to Popular. And I decided not to get the car repaired in Popular as I lost the trust in them. It was my mistake that I purchased the car from Popular. I did not know that they were behind just money not the service. I need to think about any other brand when I buy a car next time, like Hyundai or Toyota. I don’t need Popular’s car. Their service is very poor. You just have to go there once and see how many complaints they have and people get together on their premises. I need to inform you about this dirty service from Popular. I lost my productive time due to this. They mentally harassed me. And the end result of getting my vehicle repaired satisfactorily is not met with. What we customers have to go through for a mistake that is not ours. If this is the service you are offering through your retailers, people like me are definitely going to avoid your brands even. Why go through all these hassles? So I kindly request you to kindly note my complaint and see if you can straighten Popular and have good service rendered. Yours sincerely, Thank you.                         I Rajeevan, bought the vehicle model Wagon R VXI on 23.04.2015. After driving 120 km, heard a siren sound from the vehicle and tried for stopping the sound but I couldn't. Then it was stopped after removing connection from battery.This was was happened only after 3 days of buying. I informed the Maruti service centre at Karamana TVM and one service person came. After checking he said there was no complaint. After that while starting there was a starting trouble. The vehicle was starting after several time trying.I several times informed this to the service centre but they couldn't take any action.And also the cooling from AC is very low. Now I was very upset because this is a newly bought vehicle. So kindly take an action for this with immediate.                           My car met with an accident and both the doors, quarter panel on the right side of my car was damaged. The car was insured under Maruthi-National insurance(Policy no:[protected])and was given for body repair to Popular vehicles and Services Ltd, PalamKonam, Perumkulam PO, Alamcode 695102 on 24/Feb/2015(Jobcard No.JC14012312, JC[protected].They committed to give the vehicle back on 04/Mar/2015.After the service the car was delivered to me on 05/mar/2015. I was totally disappointed seeing my car.Both the doors are have been replaced but they were not properly aligned and also there were a lot of paint patches on the right side of the front bonnet. On my complaining the service technician called a mechanic for repairing and was done in front of me. I was amazed to see how irresponsibly and carelessly the car was being repaired.Instead o[censored]sing tools he was using his legs and hands.He stamped the door several timesto make it properly.The concerned technician Mr.Biju told me that rectifying further complaints I should bring the car some other day. After my request they gave me the insurance bill and I was shocked to see that they have charged for things that have nothing to do with my car. They have charged for replacing so many things that wasn’t damaged such as bumpers.I am totally upset and disappointed. Now that I want my car to be properly fixed but I don’t want to continue with the service of popular and let me approach some other service companies. I have informed all the above things to maruthi Suzuki In reply to my mail to the Maruthi Suzuki, The Customer relationship manager of Popular Alamcode rang me and told me that he would make arrangements to shift the service center from Popular Alamcode to the one that is specified by me and will also refund the money spent for internal panel coating (the internal panel coating of the doors that was replaced were charged)I was misguided and was made to pay for the internal panel coating of the newly replaced doors.The service personal told me that the spare doors that is supplied by maruthi is more prone to resting, so it is a must for me to do the coating at my coast. Now that I want Immediate and proper reply to my following concerns 1.The doors that were replaced are already damaged due to the careless work of the service staion.so I want the doors replaced with brand new one 2.I want refund for the Internal panel coating of the door 3.I hadn’t done Teflon coating on my car at the time of purchase .Now after the accident the service person told me that the Teflon coating has to be done as the doors are being replaced and so I paid them for the Teflon coating. Since there are many patches on the doors and bonet, and the work done by the service station is not satisfactory, I want the money that I had spent for Teflon coating to be refunded 4. I had left my car in Popular Alamode for 9 days gaining nothing but wasting my money, time and piece of mind. Now that I want to know the definite time limit within which I will get my car properly and satisfactory fixed

                            From, Ushakumari m.k Ushas(h.o) Pathiyarakkara Kozhikode respected sir/madam, i gave my car (Swift VDI KL-18, H1011) on 8/12/2014 to change the front left side door in madappally service center . job card number:JC14008153 .At that time mileage is 38912.They return the car on[protected] and the mileage is 38913 Total usage of diesel is more than 10 liter.And in one side of car door protector is there and on the newly fixed door side they didn't fix it and also they remove the already existing one .Please kindly take some solutions for my complaint . I didnt got back my car till now.. This showroom do no have proper technician to solve my engine repair, I have given so many complaints but no results at all even the service adviser (Rajesh) wont even take my phone call or contact me back, i am really fed up so please take any further action on this problem Thank You

                                Dear Sir, This is Ashok Kumar S. I paid total amount and purchased a vehicle “Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire ZDI “ on 25-Sep-2014 at “Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd, No.9 & 10 Velachery Main Road, Balaji Nagar, Pallikaranai, Chennai-100”. I took the vehicle delivery on 26-Sep-2014 at 5.45 PM from the above mentioned showroom. After the delivery I went to near by temple to do Pooja for the vehicle and while driving i felt very unconformable feeling due to hard steering and smooth-less gear rod. Even I felt little bit of pain after coming home due the hard steering. I asked one of my friend to drive the car to get his opinion about steering and gear rod. He gave me the same feedback whatever i mentioned above. After this I did not take out my car from my garage. In the past (6 moths ago), I drove Dzire LDI model and i liked very much on the steering and gear rod smoothness. And also, I have read lot of reviews and got feedback from my friends about this car smoothness. This is the main reason forced me to buy this model. But NOW, this new car gives me manual steering feel and there is a sound during gear shifting & it is not that much smooth. I raised this concern to the above mentioned showroom on the same day(26/Sep) evening and they promised me that it will be rectified. They (showroom person) took my car for checking on 29/Sep noon. After checking the car in the service center, they had told me over phone that everything is normal and there is no compliant to arrest. But again, I spoke to the sales executive who sold the car to me. Then he drove the car and agreed the complaints. Sale Executive had called me in the evening (26/Sep) and told me that the complaints are rectified. After this, directly I went to the showroom to take the test drive, but the problem still persist. Sales executive is very polite and told me that the service center guys are saying that there is no complaint to arrest and this will be rectified once you start using the vehicle. But I really do not understand that HOW this will be rectified like this? Why new vehicle is like this? And he(sales executive) doubted that the air pressure might be too high in the tyre and that could be the reason that the steering is hard. Then we went to near by Petrol bunk to check the air pressure in the tyre and we were surprised that it was 43 in all the tyres. That too this car is passed the PDA test. Ideally it should be 32 and we asked to reduce the air pressure to 32. After this, we drove the car and the steering was bit OK; but still it is NOT that much smooth. After this, the sale executive took us to the showroom manager (Name: Mr. Selva Kumar, Designation: SM). We explained the same to him. Then he said that I will verify the vehicle once. After sometime, he came to us and asked a question “Have you drove this car?”; and he said everything seems normal. I am really surprised that simply people are coming and telling the same answer and asking illogical questions. His (Manager) attitude was very worst. He was asking us irrelevant questions such as “What is the vehicle that you have?”, “Do you know what is the gear system & how it works”, “ Do you know what is hydraulic”. He is asking questions like a interviewer asks question in the interview. Moreover all the questions are irrelevant and the way he treated us is too bad. Finally, he(Mr. Selva Kumar) did not agree on the problems that we described. I had paid 8.6 lacs and spending this much time on this issue. Not able to use the car till now; that too almost 5 days now. I did NOT take the car from the showroom till now and still stays there. If the problem is not arrested, I will NEVER take the vehicle from the showroom. If this problem is not rectified then I need my money back and will go for different brand. Or worst case, i request to replace the vehicle. To summarize about the problems,   1. Steering is hard (gives feel like bit of manual steering)   2. Sound during gear shifting, it is not that much smooth.   3. During delivery, tyre pressure is not standard(it was 43). With these problem, how the PDA sticker is being affixed on the car? How can we believe the testing quality?    I request the higher officials to pay attention on this issue and resolve it immediately. Regards, Ashok

                                  This is to bring into your kind attention that I have purchased one WAGON R LXI BS4 (Reg No.KL34B2730) from Maruthi popular at vytila December 2011, I have done all the services through popular maruthi only. The last service was from Maruthi popular service center at Elamakkara. Recently I have noticed that both the tyres are depreciated. car is finished only 18500 km:where as company offers up to 45000kms validity for the tyres .I took the car again to popular Maruthi at Elamakkara on 25/June/2014 and complained to customer care manager Mr.Rajesh .It was so sad that he behaved in such a rule manner and ignore me without considering that I am a customer for the past 3 years for every services, I personally handed over the car and reminded them about checking up the wheel alignment Each they have done the as the part of services.                                     My maruti swift vdi KL-04 AD 5477 was given for service and maintanence following a damage to its back glass and bumper. They changed the entire back door, glass, emblems, bumper; eventhough my emblems are not damaged. They did n't give me back my old emblems. Total bill was about Rs 20, 000.; out of which about Rs 5000 they made me to pay that is about 25%. Their bill include painting cost of about Rs 7000. but still scratches are there at large. This occured within 1 year of car purchase. The maruti insurance says in their terms and condition that the glass or company bumper or door will be replaced without any payment and rest only 5% of total expenditure within 1 yr . I have only company bumper so they should not charge me any extra amount [also as per their terms and conditions given in website of maruti insurance]. Evenif charged then 5% that is about Rs 1000. Please do the needful to get justice to me so that they wont cheat any more people.

                                      Dear sir, I am one of your newly customer, name Shahad from Pattimattom, visited Popular Maruthi, Muvattupuzha and Mr.sujith for booking Swift on 10-10-13 and paid Rs.10000/- as advance. After 10days I was giving Rs.1, 00, 000/- as balance amount and on 30-10-13 Paid Rs.5, 20, 000/- as finance, in that time they ask me will give the car within 2 days. Between these period I contacted Mr. Anoop and Mr. Antony (Manager) for enquiry about the car but they did not give any reply. As a newly customer it was very disappointing me, but only on 20-11-13 they called me and ask the car ready. This is the time for the first installment of finance. So kindly make necessary step for the refund of full amount of money on or before 2 o’clock today because only due to your bad services from Popular Staff or otherwise we only demand car stereo with the car.
