Priority International — False commitment over membership fee and services | |||||
On 17th Jan 2015, after getting at least 20 calls from the call center of Priority International, my wife and I had visited the office of Priority International in Vashi (Satra Plaza, office No. 214 & 250, 2nd Floor, Plot No. Dec 19D, Palm Beach Road, Vashi, Navi Mumabi - 400705) We met Mr. Rajat Kandera (Ph: [protected]), he along with his other colleagues explained my various offer they are having for and after almost 2 hours I took 5 years membership for Rs. 95000/- under following promises 1. Down payment of Rs 15000/- on the spot 2. 36 months EMI of Rs 60000/- without any interest and zero processing fee. 3. Till the time the EMI is running i.e 36 months i am entitled for Rs 1000/- shopping voucher 4. Remaining amount of Rs 20000/- to be paid after the EMI is over i.e after 36 months. 5. 5 Years Membership comes with 30 yrs of validate and we would get 6 Weeks of holiday. 6. Monthly dinner and party passes The Problem starts just after 15 days in the membership. 1. The EMI is converted into 12 months EMI instead of 36 months, that also with interest of Rs.4934/-. when contacted Priority International for getting this changed, I was informed this is not possible now. I requested them to cancel the membership as I cannot afford to pay the 12 months EMI as I was promised for 36 months EMI. I was told there is no way to cancel the membership. EMI of Rs.1666/- has gone up to Rs.5041/- 2. The shopping voucher for Rs 1000/- was supposed to be given to me till the time of the EMI and it was 36 Months (1000*36=36000/-). Now they will only give the same for 12 months ( 1000*12=12000/-). Fraud of Rs. 24000/- on the 1 months itself. 2a. As i took the membership on 17th Jan by 17th Feb i should have recieved 1st Rs.1000/- shopping voucher. I have not yet received the same. 3. The remaining amount of Rs. 20000/- had to be paid after the 36 months EMI is over but now the EMI is only for 12 months therefore they would ask me to pay the balance after 12 months only. 4. There is no written documents proving that the membership is valid for 30 yrs but in the contract it is mention only 5 yrs, when asked for the same they said to believe them. How can I believe them now as they have shown the true colours in just 1 months 5. 1 and the half month into the membership i have not received a single passes of anything. I have written several emails to their customer care but I have not got any solution to my problem . For the last two day they have even stopped answering my calls. I was talking to Mr. Bharat (Ph: [protected]) from the customer care department. My email id is [protected]@gmail.com Request you to please intervene and get the membership cancelled and refund of my full amount. As this is a clear case of forgery. They are fraud company. There is a pune consumer court order dated 12/1/2016 against priority international.
Give detailed complaint at APMC police station, Vashi asap and then file consumer case.
Contact Hypercity mall manager. He will help you to some extent.

Recently i become victim of priority international. i am giving one star rating but there was no option to give negative rating otherwise i could have given.
Story starts when priority international staff called me and informed i have won some lucky draw and i need to go with my wife for 90 min session, i was well aware about this kind of fraud. but when they started explaining about their plan and after long discussion my mind stopped working. they shown picture of all hotels, spa, gym etc. i wanted to check their tie-up but afterall discussion it became very late, it was 10:30 pm, they were in hurry to close the deal and i was also in hurry. i should have read the agreement carefully that time. They sold me 5 yr membership for 125, 000/- Rs. They had promised to give ABS Magarpata Gym, as complimentary, that was also one of the main reason to take this membership. It's 2 month since i have taken membership but still i haven't got Gym membership. Already around 50 mails i have send but no use. I am planning to file police complaint against the Sales team Balram Patel, Nazeer, Manoj and Priority group and complain in consumer forum and going to speak to season mall, magarpatta authority to remove them from their premises. Otherwise they will be keep cheating people like this.

I have called ICICI bank credit card section & they told me that they can do investigation & if they found something wrong, they will give full refund.
I have purchased membership before 2 month & paid 35, 000. Even today credit card section is taking my complain. I suggest all of you, if you have taken membership via credit card, raise dispute with your bank, they will investigate on their own.
Now, after the Mumbai police has raid on one office, its easy for us to prove that they are cheaters
