Client: quickr bazaar
Incident: we purchased a used furniture sofa cum bed - black brown lines finish (Ad id:[protected] on 31st jan 2019 and have paid rupees 1000 (One thousand only) in advance. The product was placed under quikr assured: which means it is eligible to delivered within 48 hours. But the order was not delivered. Upon inquiry we were told that, there is a small disclaimer written in the advt which says that it might take 4-5 days for the actual delivery to happen. Hopeful, we waited for the assured 4 — 5 days but product has not arrived.
Upon second inquiry we were told that the product is damaged and it needs to be refurbished and would take 48 more hours. We have waited again for couple of days but still we have not received anything positive.
Have lost faith in the system, especially an indian startup which have failed to impress their customers by giving fake promises and extorting money.
Firstly, how can the product is labled quikr assured if it cannot be delivered within 48 hours? "
Secondly, there is no update or notification to the customer about the status of their purchase, for days the status in the mobile app still shows"pickup schedule : yet to confirm"- what does this mean? Does this mean whether the team has not approached the seller to pick the product up. That begs the question"how can tell us the product is damaged and needs to be refurbished" this can only happen if the product is picked up and checked for defects.
Sounds dubious, now i feel quickr are complete fraudsters.
Resolution: with so much of bad experience with the customer care and the delay, we worry about the quality of the product if at all it is delivered. We simply want the money back. We would rather approach other avenues.
Overall opinion: due to my past experience as a potential seller (Even paid for making my advts top rated) but no potential buyer and now as a disappointed customer i would never ever recommend quikr to my colleagues. Shame on you quickr!
