I have been having issues with Big TV signal Quality. Most of the time it says poor Quality signal and no channels show up. I have been calling the customer care for more than 3 weeks now and my issue has not been resolved.

A good joke is that some one from their end has closed the ticket saying that they spoke to me and the issue was resolved where i had not received any contact on that specified date.

I would rather provide a Negative feedback on the Quality of service provided by Big tv. Bangalore.

Resolved by throwing away the connection and moved to airtel.
I have been having same issues with Big TV lost signal. I have been calling the customer care for more than 1 weeks now and my issue has not been resolved.I also get same information that some one from their end has closed the ticket saying that they spoke to me and the issue was resolved where i had not received any contact on that specified date.

I would rather provide a Negative feedback on the Quality of service provided by Big tv. Lucknow

    I have taken BIG TV subscription on Multiple Set Top Box Scheme in which installation charges Rs 500/- will be discounted on second set top box. My smart card no. of both the set top boxes are[protected] &[protected]. On the first connection I have paid 2990/- & for the second one Rs 2490/-. On both I have chosen PREMIUM PACK for six month which is under the offer by the company. On my smart card no.[protected] they have activated POPULAR PACK.For which I have made complaint on their toll free no. on 03rd NOV 08 the complaint no. is 79408318, the complaint has been rejected because their executive has not mention that my connection is under Multiple Set Top Box Scheme. Again I have registered second complaint on dated 08 NOV 08 under complaint no. 79815468. But my compaint is still pending.The company is claiming for solving of compalint with in 48 hrs but in my case almost 9 days has been passed. Kindly help me out.

    Please note that I have made a BIG mistake by buying big tv.

    I have mailed earlier also but no reply and no solution as well.

    My id is[protected].in the name of Navin Bansal.

    On 24 OR 25 Feb, I called cce & inqured about different packs available. the cce on the other side informed about a pack of Rs.196/- and even informed about the negetive charges of Rs. 24/-. She said altogether you have recharge of Rs.220/-. I was satisfied.

    In the evening at 2030 I recharged my Big tv with Rs. 225/- & called cce to inform to activate my big tv.But the person on the other side said it will take 4 hours to activate.So you call us after 4 hrs and then only we will activate your Rs.196/- pack. I even said that you note down my request and activate it after 4 hours, but the man on the other side said you have to call us.This is not my job. Never Mind.

    On next day morning again I called cce and asked them to activate my big tv, but as usual a new problem, lady on the other side said that it is not possible to activate Rs.196/- pack on your big tv because your total available balance is Rs.195/-. You have Re 1 less in your account, so you have to recharge with Rs. 10 more in order to get Rs.196/- pack & again call us to inform about the recharge.( MARTA KYA NA KARTA) I also did. (recharged)

    After recharge I inform them and asked them how long will it take to activate. she said 10 min.
    I was happy thinking finally I made it.

    In the afternoon, I come to know that the BIG SMART guys have activated Rs.110/- pack on my big tv.I again called cce & informed about this but they say nothing can be done now.YOU HAVE TO BEAR US FOR 1 MONTH.

    HA ! HA ! HA !!!
    what a BIG fool you make of people.

      The interface is very bad and the switching of channels is too slow that at times its very frustrating .

      Have complained many times at customer care but i think that they are not able to solve the problem as they always tell useless methods and try to avoid !!

      Till now, big tv is hopeless.
      I have bought Big Tv and Iam not getting the channels as per my scheme and whenerver I call up customer care they say their SLA is 48 hours, but that 48 hours wont never come...Iam really afraid that they are just ignoring every complaint...Anyonne has got any idea about where to register case against this...

      3. I've taken new connection BIG TV on 9th of October; it was working fine with all the features. On 03 of November Major Channels it automatically went off,

      4. I have made a complaint in customer care time and again ...The complaint no are 79422874 dated 04 November 08 and 79519124 dated 05th November 08 and interaction ID[protected] dated 09 Nov 08.

      5. But till now they didn't turn up to resolve this issue, every day I have to give wakeup call to listen their excuses, and I have to obey their immoral commitment.

      6. This is really ridiculous and no way acceptable, enough is enough...! please take out your connection and get my money back .

      7. Even I have spoken to Supervisers Named Miss Usha on 08th Nov, 9th Nov Mr yogesh and Mr ferozshaikh on 11 Nov But till now no action from Big TV.

      8. I can only say to the public PLEASE DON'T BUY " BIG TV ", and don't become a victim LIKE ME.

      I have bought BIG TV on 19th November 2008. From day of installation my STB is not working properly. It goes in hang mode. I have called many times to customer care but every time they told me that this problem will rectify in some times. But problem is as usual. My STB working too slow and many times it goes in hanging mode. At that time I am anable to change the channel and more on. For get rid of this problem i have to switch off my STB from electric board and again restart it. It takes too much time. I think it's worst DTH service of India. I want to replace it from any other DTH service available in India. Is it possible? I will give antenna and STB to other DTH provider and they will installed his antenna and STB at my home.         I purchased a HP Desktop from Reliance Digital on 2nd Nov 2008 from Ambiance Mall in Gurgaon. While buying the PC, I was assured by their sales executive that installation of the product and one year onsite warranty of the PC would be handled by their executives without any complains. Also, when I asked if we can install the PC ourselves, he helped me by telling that if anything goes wrong, you will be in a fix when you bring back the PC to Reliance Digital.
        The person for installing the PC was expected to report within 24 hours. I waited for him to turn up. No one even called up for taking an appointment for installing the PC. When I called up next day at the Reliance Digital landline number which is[protected] they told that the request to install PC has not yet been transferred to the nearest Reliance Digital showroom, from where the guy was supposed to come. The female (named Anu), assured that the guys would come to install PC by evening.
        I again waited, and no one turned up again. I called again in the late evening to check the status, and this time, the male guy told me that because my request reached so late at the nearest desk, no one was able to attend the request. He assured me that an executive would contact me the next morning and then, my PC would be installed.
        Comes day 2. No one called up until noon. I called them again to check the whereabouts of the guy. Instead of telling me the status, the female handed me a complaint number, assuring that the guy will turn up by evening for sure. I waited till 5 PM, and this time, I was so pissed off, I asked them to take back the PC!! Then finally the female (again, it was Anu), gave me the number of the guy (from Shipra Mall in ghaziabad), and asked me to contact him.
        I called up the Shipra Mall number. Initially it went busy for indefinite time. But finally it clicked. I talked to Mr Lalit on the other side and he accepted that our request is with him since yesterday afternoon and he has been "thinking" of starting from Shipra Mall since morning!! What the hell... he has been thinking!! What has happened to Mr Ambani? What kind of employees have he employed in his stores, who just "think" of performing tasks but never does it.

        More than installation what worries me is, one year onsite warranty with Reliance Digital for my PC. For fixing a small thing, these guys would be thinking of coming to fix the problem rather than doing it.

        Please improve your customer service Mr Ambani, else you wont be able to get the trust of the general public in your products!!

          I bought LCD TV on 20th September from Hyderabad Reliance Digital Store. But I asked them to delivery it on 8th of October and then I called them to delivery the product on 1st October itself. After several follow up calls the product delivered on 6th October. The funny thing here is, the service persons and delivery boys gives a blank call to your contact number and you should call them back to answer their questions. They are lay man without any knowledge. If you are not careful, your product might delivery to different door also. Why because I got a call from the different house owner that they are delivering the products to them.

          After several calls to Service Center, finally on 9th October, the technician came to install the TV and realized that the bracket was not correct and told he will place it in 2 days but the 2 days is continuing for 2 weeks still I didn't get the bracket back. I am deeply regretting myself why I bought it from Reliance. I don’t know how long they will take to place the bracket. I am thinking now to go for Customer Court.

          I will suggest my friends and relatives to keep away from Reliance Digital, they are very poor in service.

            We are extremely dissatisfied with BIG tv, advert says installation in 72 hrs but not yet we purchased Oct 18.
            Customer service says...sorry we will follow up..we are not authorised to give any details.

            Customer agents by name Mohan & Usha sound like robots with same response...extremely irritating

              Hi,
              big tv installed on september 20th, 2008. from yesterday onwards some regional channels were not comming, i'm calling to customer care but it's asking smart card number that installed day the sales person forgot to give smart card, how i find my smart card number, shall i communicate with another way .
              this is my problem .
              Main Big TV Laker bahut Pareshan hoon Kyoki aap ki company bolti kuch hai aur deti kuch aur hai
              Sabse bekar Service hai big tv ki aap logo ne lut macha rakhi hai
              main aap ki company ki tv aapne sare milain walo ko mana kar duga

                I purchased a Invertor from Reliance Digital stores on thrid week April 2008.

                The same came after 48 hours of promised delivery. Engineer came to install after 96 hours of promised delivery/installation.

                All this happened after multiple chasing etc.

                The set supplied was defective as the main switch was not working. The same was replaced after m, ultiple follow ups.


                Within two months of Instal the Set had a break down, on checking the Engg informed that some PCB inside had burnt. The same was replaced.


                Again after 3 months of working the invertor set is not working. We have complained but no one comes.

                Please arrange for replacement / refund

                  On 8th Oct, i paid for 3 split AC, LG make from Reliance Digital store, vashi, navi mumbai on the condition that the ACs will be delivered on the next day, 9th Oct. My condition was very clear - del on 9th as i had to club the material by truck which was arranged for 9th. 9th eve at around 7.30 i got a call from reliance stating del was not possible and earliest date is now 12th oct. when i threatened to cancell the order, the guy on line, to my utter surprise, was happy to do the same. However i went today morning to check the same. I was told different reasons - from problem in system to out of stock. Meeting the store in charge Mr Indrmani Singh was absolute frustration. He was not interested in addressing my complaint and on the contrary showed lot of attitude. The other colleague of him were startled at his attitude and were sorry. But the guy was too egoistic.
                  I am still waiting to get delivery/ money back.

                  And this is the second same instance in as many dealings with the store.

                  I will never visit the store again and will suggest all friend to keep away.

                  i hope good sense prevails over some of the senior management and services are improved, else Mr Ambani should understand that these are not monopoly goods and we have lot of options.

                  I would like Reliance digital management to know about certain things which they might not be aware of. I hope they wake up & take some action against the casual attitude, else the brand name would not be able to save itself for long & die a slow death like many others...

                  On 30'th July I bought one Sony Ericsson phone from Reliance Digital store located in Shipra Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The phone stopped functioning with in 3 days & I brought it back to the Reliance store. I spent a whooping 13, 000 rs on the phone, so I was expecting some service.
                  I am not saying its anybody's fault, I can understand a particular product might be faulty, but then since it stopped working with in 3 days, I thought Reliance would immediately offer me to replace the phone. But, to my shock, the store people refused to take any responsibility & asked me to go to the service station.

                  I said if I had to do that I would have bought the product from the grey market at may be 2-3K less. After an argument, they agreed to send it to service station.

                  Since then, (4'th of August & today 10'th of September), I haven't received my phone. And the worst part is whenever I call the store, different people will give me different stories altogether.

                  They asked me to come thrice to the store claiming that my hand set is back & it had no problem, but whenever I went there, the problem still remained.

                  I even offered some choices, I said I am not asking you to return my money, but I'll buy another phone of same or higher price & you please adjust this amount in that, rest is between you and the vendor, why are you making me suffer for that. Nobody knew the rules.

                  One day they say, ok sir, we'll give you 13000 INR worth coupens & you buy whatever you want, I was even agreeing for that, but then they'll change the stand, ohh sorry sir, that can not be done.


                  I have lost faith in Reliance as a brand. I am also a professional & our top priority is customers. We have all the powers to bend the rules to keep customer deligted. I was so shocked to see a store manager couldnt do anything for over a month.

                  I had to buy another phone because you can understand how important that would have been in my profession. Forget about those damages, I am till today not able to get a solution from anybody. Its easy to establish a brand name but it is so difficult to maintain it.

                  I tried writing some mails to senior people in Reliance Digital but those have also gone to the trash bin it seems..

                  I think Reliance people are not understanding the power of media. I have already disassociated my self from Reliance Digital for ever & sent a mail within my organization which has over 800 employees to not to visit these stores again. Even if half the people take my advice, I would feel the job done. With emails, blogs, the message spreads like a fire.

                  May be these people think that they are too big to be affected by these things, but my friends, all the big fires start from a spark..

                  Take my advice guys..dont visit this so called fancy stores..buy the products from small vendors. They'll do anything to keep the customers happy..

                    After getting set of box after three weeks it was installed.
                    Next day the set of box was not functioning.
                    My Complaint No 76776837 given by Big TV on 27th Sept 2008.
                    Till date the Problem has not be solved.In spite of several complaints through CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE by Phone and Emails.Even local office also.Response that i get from them is false promise of attending to the problem But nothing is been done.
                    I have never seen such A WORST SERVICE from any organization PATHETIC is the word for service

                      I bought big tv on 27.08.08, they installed on 29.08.08, since 29th Sep 08 regional channels are not coming, same i complainted at customer care, they told that wrongly activated another package instead of telugu package and they forwarded the request to change the package to telugu. 9days gone till date no action has been taken, they daily telling that within 48hrs they will solve. but till date that 48 hrs not came. this is big tv. really we are boring with big tv.

                        HI i purchased BIG TV from Rajkumar, I way net teck, Royapettah.

                        He is such a fraud guy that he will never take care of after sales.
                        I am seeing a blank screen with this horrible settop box and this guy has not recharged at all..
                        When i found this myself, i asked him for the recharge coupon.
                        He is saying some junk reasons daily not sure how is managing to make up all sorts of nonsense reasons.
                        Finally he says, he cannot provide me and i can complain wherever i want!!

                        so people, i am not sure about other big tv dealers, , but please never ever buy from this guy.

                          I have Purchased one LG Make Microwave Oven in March 2008, the Touch Pad is not working from last 3 weeks inspite of various follow up, No body attended.

                          They do not have the Proper Inventory Management for the Spare parts lying with them, even the items shown in thier show room.

                          No commitment and customer feedback if not able to attend due to any Technical reason.

                          I purchased a Hitachi Window AC from Reliance digital, Shipra Mall. The service was pathetic from delivery to installation. Then after they contacted me for a extended warrenty for Rs. 1400 which included 4 services throughout the year. Since then they did a service once and then after i have been calling them but they dont respond. Recently they gave me a call no. [protected] on 27th Jan and then 7th Jan 2010 but no one has come to attend the service. When i call there customer service at[protected], they hold my call and then cut it and treat as I am getting a punishment for buying from Reliance digital.

                          Please help, this group doesnt seem interested in business but harrassing people for their benefit and foolong public by such extented warranty.

                          I have purchased a VOLTAS AC 1.5 Ton from Reliance Degital Shipra Mall on 18.04.2010 around 2 pm, with a request to kindly deliver it to my residence by 6.00 pm same day as I have a fixed programme.

                          AC came at 9.30 pm and after calling/requesting the delivery guy atleast 8 times.

                          Today 19.4.2010 installation man to come at 2.00 pm but no one turns up, I inquired their customer care they told me that the man is on the way to your house & they also gave me the cell number of the installtion man. Now I phoned the installion man he btold me that he has no informartion regarding the installtion of ac. I phoned back to the customer service no ([protected]) the lady told me that installtion man is lying to you as has to installed atleast 20 acs today, I joked that can a person installed 20 ac in a day, she told me yes as their trained person are regularly installing 20 to 25 acs daily
                          now the installion man comes, & he demands Rs 500 for the installion as some woodwork was required as per him & for this he will not give any reciept. I told him that that installion is free, then he told me that free installion means that you shows us where we have to put the ac.


                          As installion person refused to installed the ac without Rs 500.00 rupees I tried to contact the reliance showroom but there was no response then I had to go to their showroom at shipra mall & their I tried to inquire about 100% installion in cash memo no one gave me the correct version . Ultimately a good friend Mr. Sanjay Kumar of reliance jumped to returned me the entire amount as per cash memo as he can not handle a customer like me. He has promised me on 20.4.2010 as man will come to my house and will take back the ac and by evening I will get my money back.

                          I have paid 2 times the parking fees at & shipra mall just for purchasing ac & becauase of Sanjay Kumar I was to settled to take my money back.I also tried to convince Mr. Sanjay to reimburse me installion amount of Rs400.00 As fixed by their store but he told me that it is not a policy of reliance digital.
                          We had purchase washing machine of BPL sanyo and at present its not working properly ask for service centre they confirm that the company has been closed we request you to put the material in Reliance showroom only for the reputed companies which are having some more life to stand in the market

                          I bought carrier window ac in may 2008, from day one some gas started leaking in the ac and a very foul smell came out of ac when it was started, i called reliance they said that it was the manufacturing defect and some ac's with the same lot developed this p[roblem, and they assured it will work fine now, we thought it is ok... after 6 months ac stopped cooling, mechanic came and said gas was leaking and then gas was filled in it, it all happened with in 6months of buying the ac, then onwards whenever you want that carrier ac to cool, gas is needed to be filled in it.
                          Now tell me what was my fault, was it only that i believed on Reliance??????

                            I have bought Big tv before 45 days. Suddenly one day I got problem with the signal. I have made a complaint to Customer Care on 13th Sep 2008. They gave me feedback that their service man will come within 48 hours. But no one came and kept on complaining in customer care. The fellow who spoke to me last on 26th sep 2008 gave me a rough response and he ghave me a complaint no[protected]. He promised me that his service men will come within 48 hours. Until now no one has attended our problem. we have fed up complianing to the customer care and shop keeper. We have hardly watched Big Tv for hardly 25 days and we need back our money.                             i am not agreeing the above comment, my cust id no.is[protected] and i am using big tv from when they started this service in india, once i got problem in set top box i called the person from whom i got connection, he forwarded me to customer care and have taken proper action to recover my problem . and they gave new set top box also .one more think about big tv, if our remote is not functioning properly they are replacing that also. so i'm very much satisfied with big tv and their customer service.
                            They are not doing anything. Really they are stupid. They are not even properly responding me for the issues. I transfered the money but they are saying like they didn't get money. Last four days they are doing like this... ..

                            Dear Team,

                            I wish to bring to your notice that your services were disconnected without prior information or notice. I was experiencing a issue with the telugu regional pack which I reported to Customer Service on several occasions yet the issue was never resolved. And also i was asked to recharge Rs 17 for setmax but they have deducted Rs 5 and saying that balance is very less to activate Setmax channedl. I was not discounted for the inconvenience caused by the dismissal of the telugu regional pack service. Whenever I call Customer Service to report this issue, I was assured of a resolution within 24 hours of my call yet it was never resolved. For the complaint I placed on few days back I was responded only in the first week of April yet without resolution. Adding to my woes, in recent times I was forbidden from calling Customer Service by dialing the toll free number, since my number was blocked.

                            I trust I have waited patiently enough and every hope of a resolution seems lost. On the whole I am totally frustrated with the services of Big TV and therefore constrained to contemplate on withdrawing my subscription.

                            I bought a water purifier but installation not done yet after 72hrs. When ever I called the shop ( myself 4 times and my wife 3 times) either they kept me hold or else asking all delivery details again and again. They don't have proper information rather given wrong information.

                              even i purchaged big tv setup box on 11th sep, 08. they promised that by 15th of sep installation will be over. even today installation is not done. regarding this i made several complaints, every time i got the reply " sir, your installtion is under process, by 8 pm tommorrow our person will come and install" thank you.

                              next day if i calls the reply is same but the voice is different...

                              i never had a worst experience than this in my life...
                              if Anil ambani group is not capable of providing the installations... it is better to withdraw B Tv...

                              BIG TV — Installing the BIG TV

                              I had bought a Big TV connection last month.
                              While installing the DTH connection, the service engineer attending did not get the cable through a sealed enclosure and provided us with a connection through a window in a shabby manner.
                              To get this query resolved i called up the Customer Care to ask for assistance such that they can pass the cable through a sealed enclosure.
                              I was told by the person attending that it was not possible to do that and i will have to make my own arrangements, when i tried to emphasize on wanting a cable through a sealed enclosure for which i was willing to pay the necessary additional charges if any that have to be incurred.
                              I was told by the person attending that "We ask customers to buy some other connection who want a BIG TV installation through a sealed enclosure" and "Why did you buy BIG TV, if you wanted this".

                              I readdressed this issue on 14/12/08 to the floor supervisor of the Customer Care about the experience I had and was told that i will be attended to in 48 hours and will be provided with an engineer who will provide a sealed enclosure.
                              Until now nobody has attended to me and have solved this query of mine.

                                I am writing this complaint about the so called "best service" this company claims to provide. This is about Reliance ADAG Group's BIG TV. Trust me, i did a blunder by buying this Big TV.

                                I purchased this TV on 9th september 2008. I was promised that their technical team would come and install the same with in 72 hours. And, to my utter shock, no one has come yet. Its been more than 2 weeks now. Almost on a daily basis I call up their customer care number and argue with them, everytime they assure me that one of their technicians would come and fix the issue. But, till date no one has turned up. forget about installation no one has even bothered to call up and ask whether the installation was done or not.

                                Please people, do not think of going for this BIG tv even if they give it for free. When their product is new, they are provinding such service, just imagine the fate few months down the line.

                                Please beware of anything that has RELIANCE attached with its name tag, be it TV, stocks or for that matter anything.

                                I would give a rating of -5(if it is allowed on a scale of 5) to their service.

                                BIG TV — No Reinstallation

                                I shifted my house to Rammoorthy Nagar Bangalore in Jan 2010 and asked to relocate my Big TV connection. Nothing has happened regarding this complaint. I had escalated this complaint twice and nobody called me up.[protected] &[protected] are the complaint numbers.[protected] is my card number.

                                I have suffered for the last four months. I advise everybody not to take this connection. Can somebody help me to teach them a lesson.

                                  I am vijaykarthik working in bangalore. Recently Reliance launched the Digital TV Service called " Big TV" and promised for the best service and quality of picture on the broadcasted channels. I purchased the connection on september 11th at Trichy, Tamilnadu and wanted to install the connection at my Residence in Bangalore. The sales representative convinced me that Big TV provides this easy way to purchase the connection in any of the cities and get the installation at our desired place.

                                  We requested to install the setup box and provide the connecion on the same day of purchase(11th of september). But the company took 4 days to take up the request and sent the service person to perform the installation after my continous complaints and requests registered to the call centre of the company.
                                  Even after the installation, the connection was not through. the service agent who installed informed me that it will take maximum of 4 hrs to get the connection activated. So i waited for it but couldn't get the channels.

                                  Even after 7 days of installation, still my connection is not activated. I made several more compalaints and fighting with the sales representative who sold me the connection. The service provided at the call centre is very poor. They don't have enough information on what went wrong and the customer care representatives employed by the company are too rude and harsh. In fact i came to know that one of the representative who attened my first call, did not take up my complaint at all and the complaint no. that he gave is a fake one. when i enquired the status of that complaint no. next time, the other representative informed me that it is for some other customer name.

                                  I would like to make a complaint agaist the company and return the connection and get back my money.

                                  Please advise.

                                  BIG TV — Installation Not Done Even after One Week Of Registration

                                  I have Transffered to Bhavnagar(Gujarat) from Jabalpur(M.P.) & after reaching Bhavnagar I registered a request in BIG TV Customer care for reinstallation on 2nd nov. 2008. They Promised me to Install the BIG TV within 48Hrs. But upto 05-Nov.-2008 Big TV were not installed & even I have not Received a Single call from Local Engineer. Afterthat i Again Contacted to BIGTV C.C. & on that day C.C representative Mr. VIJAY NAGRANI told me that your connection will be installed in within next 48 Hrs., & Whem I inquired abt my last registration request which i made on 2nd Nov. 2008 then he told me that your that request has been already closed.. I surprized & asked WHY..?? Then he told me that our Engineer found your Phone Switched off while my cell remain always ON due to nature of my JOB.
                                  and mr. Vijay Nagrani promised me on behalf of BIGTV that your connection will be installed within 48 Hrs. & gave me a REGISTRATION NO.[protected]. BUT AGAIN UPTO THIS TIME 07-NOV.-2008, 20.00 PM (48 HRS. ALREADY COMPLETED), NOBODY FROM BIGTV HAS CONTACTED ME..

                                  I am shocked to see such a pathetic service from Big TV.
                                  To start with: I recharged the account with 5 X Rs. 25.00 vouchers. Only 4 got activated. Had to struggle with BigTV call center for 1 month to get it updated.

                                  I had got 3 months free subscription along with the Connection. It was suppose to expire 5th Feb. So i called on 4th to make sure that new subscription is activated. I was informed that it will be done. (Rs. 110.00 back with Marathi was FREE!!! regional pack.) I again called on 9th to confirm the same. I was told that it will be activated but presently servers are not working. I was told the same thing on 5th as well..
                                  Now my parents called me telling that they received one sms that i have only rs. 17.00 balance and that i have to recharge on 17th Feb. I dont understand this calculation. When i have asked for Rs. 110.00 pack, how can u recharge what u want????? why is that you guys lie to customers... ????
                                  I am not going to pay anything. I want my Rs. 110.00 pack recharged from 5th Feb with Marathi as Regional Pack.

                                  Note: i am told by Supervisor Leela on 14th Feb at 11:45 AM IST that i will get a call from Backend team after Monday.

But, I am sorry to inform you that even after 10 days of booking for the said system, nobody from your company has turned up even contected me inspite of repeated reminders to your company representative. I am therefore, no more interested to go for the said service and wish to cancel this booking and want the company to refund my booking amount i.e. Rs.1490/- without any delay.

                                    I bought Big TV near the Perambur loco station, Chennai on 01-Sept-2008. It was from a marketing gimmick that I felt for. I paid on the spot in hot cash and I was told by one Mr. Shakthi (Sales Person) ([protected]) that the service will be installed and activated within 4 hours. I was been told to get a workorder number by giving the smart card number to the customer Service(!!!). I was told that in 48 hours my channels will show up in my Tv after I have recharged. I recharged immediately and confirmed with the customer Service(!!!) that my recharge was successful. I called the customer Service(!!!) on their toll free number after 72 hours that I haven't got anything exept the blue screen with the channel list and when clicked on any channel it throws a message to subscribe.

                                    I called the person who installed this TV name unknown ([protected]) and he gave me 4 other numbers to call and check. ([protected], [protected], [protected] and[protected].

                                    Later I called Shakthi (Sales Person) ([protected]) and got the office number[protected] and I talked to them and he said it will be solved in 3 hours. Later I got a call from[protected] and was told that its not their problem and was asked to contact customer care.

                                    I again called up customer care and they gave me a list of complaint numbers every time I called them that I lost track of all the numbers[protected], 75496209, 75945671...)> Evry time there will be this sterio type reply of "Will be resolved in 48 hours and again a new complaint number. Lastly I was told that my smart card was deactivated for UNKNOWN reasons. After a good negotiation of more then 45 minutes, I got the IRRESPONSIBE manager name (Mr. Javed) not sure if that's a real one or a phoney????.

                                    This is the successful 16th day without any success. I am really cursing myself to choose this reliance Big TV as it had been the most horrendous experience one could ever get.

                                    I am really fed up to the core that I contacted core.                                     I have taken, so called, Big TV in the month of 29 june 2008. There is dellay in installation.. The same has been intimted to their call centre by way of complain (20 to 22 time complains), they promised that an engineer would come and istall it in some days. Till date i have made 18 complaints and their engineer is yet to come... Reliance, which is present in almost all the business sectors, is offering such worst service... i am not at all happy with their service. As a pilot project, they have launched this only for the pco of reliance, if this is the kind of service they are offering to reguller customer, just imagine what will they offer to an unknown consumer...
                                    It is confirmed from call center that engineer is going to come and going to install the BIG TV in 72 hours, it is been more than 72 hours...no one has given me call about installation or delaying installation. We are eagarly waiting for entertainment...we have purchased the setup box and which we can not return and buy any other DTH.

                                    BIG TV — No Installation

                                    BIGTV - No Installation for the last 6 days. Looks like they don't have staff to take care of the installations.

                                    Its very difficult to get through to the call centre. It takes a minimum of 25 minutes to get through. The call centre staff have no experience in handling customers and keep giving some lame excuse and talk about a 72 hr installation window even after the window has passed.

                                    There is absolutely no regard for meeting SLAs.

                                    Can we do anything about this??????

For installation i made a requet on 04/09/2008 the workorder number:[protected] the smart card number:[protected] support people conformed installation will be done with in 72 hours but, they are failed to complete in promised time. Again i made a call and raised the complaint on 07/09/2009 the complaint number:75393969 the promised the issue will close with in 72 hours but, installation not happened Every day i am calling to customer care they are telling installation will be done today again today...like

                                    So, friends dont go for BigTV. Service is very poor.

                                    I had bought the starter pack for big tv about 20 days back and called the customer service and generated the work order on the same day. After 72 hours of generating the work order i logged a complain with the customer care . They gave me a complaint number but even after 16 days nothing has happened and i have been calling their customer care on a daily basis.

                                    I would rather not recommend this to anyone

                                    I have taken, so called, Big TV in the month of 06 SEP 2008. There is dellay in installation.. The same has been intimted to their call centre by way of complain (20 to 22 time complains), they promised that an engineer would come and istall it in some days. Till date i have made complaints and their engineer is yet to come... Reliance, which is present in almost all the business sectors, is offering such worst service... i am not at all happy with their service.

                                    Of all the DTH services I have ever seen, Reliance BIGTV has the worst after sale service. They take more than 4 days to install the dish. Even after instaling, they say it would take 24 hrs to get activated, but my BIGTV has still not got activated after 5 days after installation. Every time I call CCare they escape saying something.

                                    are u ready to go to file case against BigTV for the same? i also had purchased it on 7th of september and the dish was installed on 8th. but till today (18-sept) i could not see any thing in my tv through big tv.
                                    i want to file case against them in consumer court.
                                    I bought Big TV Setup box in Bangalore on 5th Sep 2008. After trying customer for nearly 3 hrs, I got some one to answer my call, but to un-fortunately the customer service representative informed me that his system is not working and not able to take up installation request. So I had to hang up. Again after trying their number for 2 hrs I reached the representative. This time it was lady, she took our request and said that within 72 hrs the Installation Engineer will call and fix up appointment. after nearly waiting for 5 days I called up customer care again. This time I shocked to see that there was no installation request. After nearly arguing with the representative I noticed that if the representative does not issue work order number than he/she is just acting to take the order. This I think is due to over subscription and there are not many engineers to install.

                                    Lesson : When you give the installation request, ask for Work order Number.

                                    Again after getting the work order number, I am still waiting for installation. In between I again spoke to the customer care and they again shocked me. They said their system says that it has already installed. After arguing with them nearly for 10 mins I was convinced that the Big TV centre at Bangalore has just updated the system where as in actual the have not done any installation. These were to eye wash the head office in Mumbai and take the credit that the requests are done with in the time specified.
                                    There was no contact address or numbers for Bangalore office.

                                    In the meantime i registered two complaints for not yet doing the installation. I think the Customer care has standard reply for any questions. For complaints they say it will addressed in 48 hours. But even after 7 days I have not received single call from them.

                                    I have very serious doubts about the BIG TV service; I would say "No service".

                                    Imagine when there is no service for a new customer; I am sure the service existing customer could be really poor.
                                    I have purchase Big TV with 1 year subscription with Pupular pack (133 channels) 6 days ago.

                                    Many of the channels are still not visible on my tv.

                                    my c.s.no.[protected], Big tv was installed on 30/8 and from 15/9/08 no chanes are coming dispay shows recharge or call custmer care. with great dificutly got line gave compalin no is 75874647 dt.15/9 with promise that within 48 hours you will get all chanles. till today no respnse no call from there side within this time 12 times i talked to them no result. i am not able to understand when they do not have capacity to solve the problem and infrastrukture why they have come i the the market we have bot as dhirubhai ambni group. sorry they are spoiling the name i want to mail directly to mr.anil ambani so please help me to get his direect e-mail, thanks

                                    This is the worst service of any DTH service provider till to date.
                                    i bought a big tv on 13th of sep and call the customare care to installation.they told it will take 72 hours to install but still it is not install.And t he worst part is on 23 rd i got a call from the Big Tv ISP people that sir be at home we will install it between 4.30 -5.30.And i simply drove back to my home from my office, but none of them had come. and after that also they simply saying it will be install between 9 O'clock.and they simply made me fool of saying the same thing on wednesday . So it has been 13 days still it is not installed.

                                    So i think i should go for the consumer case.For harassing the customer.
                                    people if you want to buy a BIG tv then please change the plan.

                                    I got big tv in bangalore. During purchase period i enquired fr the package which has maximum channels and they gave me a package name. I bought the big tv with the specified package. After 1 month i see most of the channels disabled i call the customer care the are telling the blocked channels are pay channels and the customer suppot is worst of all. you have to wait for long time to get some one to attend, if you get through the waaiting period, they dont have proper info nor they have inf to unsubscribe. there is lot of mis management. I suggest dont go for big tv. you will be in trouble.

                                    I purchased Big TV Setup Box on Sep-27-2008. They installed on Sep-30. After watching the TV for 3 hrs, I see only black screen. I logged a complaint on Sep-30. Over the phone, they had asked me to remove the cable, check LNB cable, hold the power button for 30 seconds etc... and finally found that it is proper fixation of the antena the angle has been changed and thus no signal. They have to come and align the Dish antena and hardly it would take 5 minutes for them. Today date is Oct-09- and they haven't come. I was been calling the call center daily and telling them about the problem. They say sorry for that and they will send a person in 24 hrs. I know that doesn't happen.

                                    Reliance, If you couldn't fix the antena, atleast tell me a local person who can come and do it. I am ready to pay for that also.

                                    i m harjeet from gurgaon buy big tv on september 16th. in very first all is good but the customer service is very bad. i call for english movie they ask me to recharge first. when i recharge and call them they didnt play the movie on same day niether other day. i call again for complaint and ask for other movie they run same old movie and not new 1 what i will ask them to run, they debit my account with Rs.60+Rs.60 for both movies which i m not see on big tv. also for customer care need to wait for more then 10 minutes everytime which will extra burden on mobile bills cause of STD call charges to mumbai. I call customer care last week for activate ten sports on my big tv (in very first i will see all channels for 20 days they they stop soo many channels and ask to pay money for paid channel, thats the surprise in 3 months pack) but a customer care lady whose name is Anamika will took 20 minutes and sure that my services is activated. later i am surprise when i m not get same channel. also the pack of ten sports is of Rs. 40 and need to pay for 6 months in advance of Rs. 240 for that. thats a fraud, cause soo many things r hidden and they all r cheeters to make money from customers pockets with great tricks. Really a worse service in its class by relaince. No wonder that how relaince is very rich cause reliance make his empire with cheating ppls. i hate relaince products.

                                    I brought Big Tv from Rajalakshmi's dream world, Kagdaspura, Bangalore on 2nd Oct. I opted for the 2190 south starters pack as I was told by the dealer that with this package all the channels are free for 1 year. Everything went fine. The installation was on time. Picture quality perfect. Less than 1 month into the plan I have started realizing my mistake. To start off the channels started appearing as paid instead of free. Zee channels, Neo Sports, Neo Cricket has all of a sudden become paid. The first day I had this problem and called the customer care I was told that there is a technical issue and would be sorted soon. Obviously that didn't happen. 2 days after that I called back again and this time I was told that these channels are not part of the package (Complaint number[protected]. I informed about the dealers details and was assured that things would be looked after. Today I called back again at customer care to enquire about my complaint and this guy tells me that it’s my mistake and I should have called back at customer care after buying the product ;-) You don’t call customer care after buying a product right ?? you call only if you have a problem. And the really sad part was the guy hung up on me ;-( I don't know if that was Mr Ambani himself. Well he can do that. I am just a common man. I called back again at the customer care to report about the incident and am promptly refused that this cannot be taken as a complaint but as a feedback. I know what you are going to do with my feedback. Take a print out and use it as toilet paper. People who are reading this do not misunderstand me. I do not mind paying 100 Rs more, but the thing is I should have been informed at the time of buying and not 1 month later. And I do expect a little respect. I am now thinking that maybe I made a mistake...a mistake of opting for reliance when there were other established players.

                                    This is with reference to a BIG TV connection which I had subscribed too. Unfortunately this has been one of my worst decisions made. The engineer, who had come for initial installation on 4th November 2008, knew there was less signal availability, yet he carried on with the installation. After he went the problem started from the very next day. After thinking it would be a temporary issue I did not call them but after continuous problem, finally I logged a complaint with the customer care on 10th November 2008. I was given a ticket number 79982014 saying it would be solved within 48 Hours (Phew 48 hours for a complaint to be resolved for a new connection taken 6 days ago and they claim to be India’s best DTH service). So I waited, then I called up the customer care on 11th November 2008 as no engineer had called or visited. I was given an assurance that the engineer would come the next day. The next day came and went but no sign of engineer. Another call to the customer care gave me an assurance that the engineer would visit the very next day. So I had nothing to do but wait. 13th November came and went, yet no sign of engineer. This happened even after escalating to the senior customer care executive. I waited again for the engineer/technician on 14th, but even after waiting the whole day when nobody came, my obvious reaction was to call the customer care number, and guess what, I got the shock of my life. They said that my call was already successfully closed. When I told them that nobody had called or visited my place. They said they would now log a new ticket (Ticket Number[protected] and given an assurance that the engineer would call/visit within 48 hours.
                                    So now I have come the whole circle. And I learnt the lesson of my life, never to subscribe to any reliance products/services and never recommend the same to anybody.

                                    I am using BIG TV. I have taken two connections. However I am very much depressed as no english channels that comes under local channels category are available. Also colors channel is also not available. I confirmed even o recharge coupons are available for the same. As of now, there is no 32 local channels as they advertise. Their are only 15-16 local channels on which movie gets change after 15 days.

                                    Request to Reliance, please look into the matter ASAP.

                                    hi i am bigtv subsciber and i purchased a set top box for rs 3990 smart plan for one year. but when i talked to customer care they told me that they have updated my account for three month plan only. when i told them to change my plan for one year as i had taken a smart plan for one year . but they saying that this offer is discontinued now and now they can't change my plan . their is not any customer fault as they had updated wrong plan on my account. now i am helpless and planning to case file on big tv.

                                    Based on the advertisement, I approached the local distributor in Jul 08 and selected the MAX offer and made a payment of Rs 4990/- towards cost of equipment, installation, RCV and activation. As per the offer I was supposed to get one year free subscription for all the channels as listed in the offer & three months free for cinema channels. The local representative commissioned the STP on 07 Sep 2008 using SIM card No.[protected]. The representative took four RCVs totaling Rs 3500/- bearing No [protected], [protected], [protected] @ Rs 1000/- each and CRV no [protected] for RS 500/- for activate of my connection as per Max Plan.

                                    After activation, I found that I was unable to access some of the channels given in the offer. After contacting customer care center, the popular channels such as CNN, BBC world, Zee channels etc were activated. The access to free English cinema was still not available. I was also told by the customer care that by mistake my connection has been registered as 'Premium" plan and necessary action is being taken to change over to "Max plan".

                                    In Dec 2008 I started getting repeated SMSs that I need to recharge my connection. On contacting the customer care on 22 Dec 2008 and repeatedly thereafter till 18 Jan 09, I got the same standard reply- "Sir your complain has been registered and our superiors will get in touch within 24 hrs". The promised contact by superiors of customer care executive is yet to be received since past 10 days. My connection was finally blacked out on 22 Jan 2009.

                                    My observations BIG TV & reliance services

                                    1. Pathetic customer care services.
                                    2. You will be totally lost as customer care executives are not able to guide you or give telephone address of responsible person.
                                    3. The aim of the company is to somehow collect the money irrespective of services.
                                    4. Launch/seasonal offers are gimmicks, a ploy to trap the customer and subsequently force and fleece them.

                                    This is regarding the SMS received by me on[protected] from 52241 saying “Dear BIG TV customer, your monthly charges of Rs. 180 towards subscriber id[protected] are due on 14-Feb-09”. I was shocked.
                                    Immediately after receiving the SMS, I contacted your customer care centre. I was not satisfied with the answers provided to me. I also spoke to your senior Representative who seems to be fresh & joined you recently & don’t know the details 0f the offers offered during the launch of your DTH services. He told me that the 700 Rs. Which I paid for activating the smart 2190 plan was actually their installation charges.
                                    How it can be sir, as per your offer the installation was free, I have retained the leaflet highlighting “ Installation free, NO HIDDEN CHARGES” and attaching the Xerox copy of the same herewith. Your technicians who came to install the dish never asked me for it, & I confirmed with them too.
                                    At the time your technicians came to install the Dish they specifically asked me the plan I want to choose. I told them about the smart 2190 offer and paid 700 Rs. Extra. Infront of me they scratched the value voucher of amounting 700 ( which can be seen on my Recharge account) & I was told that my plan has been activated and I can watch the channels as per the lite pack for complete one year & I don’t need to pay anything for one year.
                                    Every time I call to your customer care I confirms first about my plan activation because I have also opted for the south channels for which I am paying 50 Rs. For 15 south Channels.
                                    Sir, When I have already opted for the Smart 2190 Offer which allows me to watch Your Lite Pack for complete 1 year, how can you send me the sms for demanding the monthly subscription. Your representative threatening me of disconnection if I don’t pay.
                                    I have also emailed to your customer care but did not receive any answers till date. I am very disappointed with your service and keeping all my option open for going to consumer forum also for getting justice.

                                    Big TV has absolutely parthetic service, and they should not operate in a competitive marketplace.

                                    When I got Big TV in November last year, the team that came home to install the box never told me that most of the channels will be paid for. Then, I had to call the customer care number, which was hardly answered, to get the channels I wanted. Shockingly, they did not have packages for the channels I wanted- including Star World, MTV, Channel V and Colors. In fact, they did not even have Colors as an option.

                                    The least that Mr. Anil Ambani's 'prestigious and trusted' company can do is to provide channels that the customers want,

                                    Then I made the second biggest mistake (the first being choosing Big TV) of getting the connection recharged. The Big TV agents came home, charged some Rs.280 for giving us the channels we wanted (we were lucky enough to have the options of Colors, Star World and the music channels this time). However, because their systems were down, Big TV was unable to update their systems, and revive the channels we had requested for. It has been 10 days today, and nothing has come out of it. And you want to know the best part? They have been cutting Rs.6 everyday from our recharged amount as penalty for late recharge from our side. The buggers are yet to realize that we are suffering because their
                                    systems are down, not because we have not paid the recharge amount.

                                    While I take this officially to the consumer court, let me be your well wisher and advise you that cable TV is perhaps the best option till private players like Big TV decide to pull up their socks, and look beyond making money out of the services that they provide.

                                    BIG TV — Launch offer FRAUD & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE.

                                    I bought Max plan given in the launch offer against payment of Rs 4990/- . The installation, demo and activation was done by 'supposed to be Reliance company representative' on 07 Sep 2008. He took four Recharge Vouchers(RCV) totaling Rs 3500/- bearing No [protected], [protected], [protected] @ Rs 1000/- each and RCV no [protected] for RS 500/- for activate of my connection as per Max Plan.

                                    After activation, I was surprised to find that popular channels viz. CNN, BBC world, Zee were not accessible. On lodging complain, customer care informed me that by mistake, my connection has been registered under 'Premium' plan and necessary action will be taken to change over to "Max plan".These popular channels were activated subsequently, implying that mistake has been corrected against my complain.

                                    In Dec 2008 I started getting repeated SMS to recharge immediately to avoid disconnection. On contacting the customer care on 22 Dec 2008 (complain No[protected] and repeatedly thereafter(Complain No. 86306393,[protected] till 18 Jan 09, I got the same standard reply from customer care executive – Kundu, Swapnil, ganesh, arvind, sahil, anish, Tarun(claimed to be senior person), Jayoti Nigaram "Sir, your complain has been registered for appropriate action and our superiors will get in touch within 24 hrs". The promised contact by so called superiors remained a distance dream. The written complain sent to the customer care center by speed post, and additional one posted on [protected]@bigtv.co.in was not replied. My connection was finally blacked out on 22 Jan 2009.

                                    On 31 Jan 09, after pleading the customer care executive, I could contact Ms Pallavi Gorpade, Sr Supervisor, who claimed to be senior most person on behalf of Reliance communication & entertainment and takes all decision related to customers of big tv. Without giving any consideration to my complain & justification, she kept on giving a stereo type reply - “ As per our records you have been registered for premium plan valid for three months and you need to make payments to restore the connection”.


                                    I feel disgusted and harassed that in spite of paying full money for Max package, I have been not only denied free access for all channels for one year but also blocked the accessing within 4 months of installation.

                                    It is heartening to see that a giant company like Reliance has resorted to unethical business tactics for making fast buck by cheating common man, luring them to pay more without giving any service and leaving the customers to their fate to defend themselves with unprofessional, inefficient customer care personnel with casual attitude who are no good to solve the problem created by themselves.

                                    BIG TV — Mis information at time of sale

                                    At the time of sale of the Big TV DTH, i was told that the channels i'm subscribing to would be free for 3 months, but infact the service was made unavailable within a month itself.. Also, i was no provided any demo about the usage of the product.. Further, i got the account recharged with Rs. 110/- and was told that the validity is 1 month.. but within 15 days the service was cut..

                                    I called up the Customer Service no.[protected], and spoke to Reshma (who claimed to be the floor supervisor) she said that she is directly reporting to Anil Ambani.. which is hard to believe.. but the worst is that when i asked for the removal of the product and the reimbursement of the security etc, i was told that this cannot happen and that i would need to pay the charges @ Rs 6.00/- per day even if i'm not using and also the amount will keep on getting accumalated as a negative balance.. the CSR also said " AAP SIRF EK CUSTOMER HO.. NAAKI KOI BHAGWAN AUR AAP MERE SAR PE NAACH NAHIN SAKTE.. AUR JO BHI BALANCE BANEGA WOH TOH AAPKO PAY KARNA HI PADEGA "...

                                    Apart from the above harressment, i've also gone through a lot of mental agony due to the behavior of the cust service agent who are of no help at all..

I have three complaints and none are being resolved after several contacts with Big TV customer care toll free number and visiting dealer’s showroom.

                                    Complaint 1: On the internet site (http://www.bigtv.co.in/longtermpacks.html#) and on Big TV help menu appearing on my TV set, its being published that for Starter 3 pack, 104 channels are offered however when I contact Customer care number, I was advised its not 104 channels its only 91 channels which I will get. Can you explain where the discrepancy is? Why are you advertising for 104 channels and providing only 91 channels? Can you list which are the channels being provided currently under this scheme? I had contacted the Big TV email support ([protected]@bigtv.co.in) many times for this query but no response was provided(attached is the email for your ref)



                                    Complaint 2: Complaint ref #[protected] I had registered a complaint in regards with UTV Movies not being viewed and Big TV customer care responded saying, due to public demand Big TV has replaced UTV Movies with Filmy channel. I had paid the amount of Rs.2096/- for long term starter 3 pack, and you would remove it without my consent!!! I was not contact or consulted to know what are my requirements, then why did you swap the channel? When I subscribed this package, I was offered to get 104 channels including UTV Movies and Filmy (both Hindi Movie channel) and I need both.
                                    I was promised that complaint ticket will be resolved within 2 working days and its been more than 2 working weeks without any response.

                                    Complaint 3: From past 1 week, we are not able to view Sahara One and Filmy Channel. What is the reason behind it? When contact customer care, they say the service will resume in 30min or so, but its been more than a week that we are not getting the service.




                                    Many of the customer care officer are so irresponsible, unknowledgeable and disrespectful to disconnect the phone without any response. They keep the customer on hold for long and just disconnects the phone after long wait. To get my contact number changed, I had to call more than 5 times. When asked what the email id to escalate / post my complaint – they responded there is no such email id! What a shame!!!

                                    My sincere request is to kindly look into this matter and provides appropriate resolution to me and other customers. I shall wait for your prompt & customer friendly response.

                                    even after paying a huge of amount to Big tv member of annual subscription, Big tv is charging hidden changes, Customer Care people do not solve the problem. they flash a message of dues regularly. On making complaints they say it will not be repeated again. even they irritate the customer making flase dues in my account.
                                    I will suggest / request all the new customer who are going to purchase this big tv. please please do not purchase. otherwise they will weep like me in future.
                                    I have taken the south plann in the month of November 2008. since then I never find the system in order. frequently one or another problem. whenever i made compleion to the customer care. They have few swentences which they repeat.
                                    1) Sorry for the inconveniance
                                    2) we will forward your complain
                                    3) Problem will not comne again.
                                    4) will call back in one hours

                                    Like tyhis few more sentances. They never calls. After makng unlimited calls they attend after few days. Like this how many calls I made i dnot remember.

                                    Reagrding latest complin, I made a complain at 8.30 pm on May 10, 2009.there is no signal. This is not new problem this I face frequently. After repeating the same sentence a so called supervisor lady told me that this will the last time and they will be callin you in an hours time. But the same no one called. Today on May 11 Icalled in the morning they told, it will be ractified any time and some one call u in one hour. No call again. I called at at 2.00 pm. to my surprise it was told to me that an engineer in the name of visited my residence and the problem was ractified. But the fact is that no one visited. Realy it is disgusting that such type of fraud custor care people or the service people fact welknown to relaince are doping. They are not attending also and showin in theie records that fault ractified.

                                    I do not know what to tell. If the reliance moto is to harasse and cheat the customre they can tell oipnly. people will be ready to face that.

                                    Even some times they talk like very indecent person.

                                    This what i told about the service and attitude. Even for the channel extra what was tols at the time of purchse and what are the actual. It is contardactory.

                                    BIG TV — Smart 2190

                                    I bought two big tv connections on 25.10.08 in smart 2190 each and I was given one connection of Rs 1490 and recharge voucher of Rs 700 with a validity of one year. The service engineer installed the connections and recharged the vouchers but the company cheated me and closed one connection in 6 months while other one is working by saying that connection was valid for 3 months and rs 700 were utilized in monthly renewal.

                                    I am a BIG TV subscriber from August 2008 with smart card no[protected].
                                    I've subscribed Neo sports pack for 6 months from NOV 7 to Apr 7.From march 25 to apr 10, I daily requested them to cut the service.On Apr 6 they told me yes it was unsubscribed.
                                    I also subscribed 3 months of colour channel.I've totally recharged 365/-.Now I'm not subscribed to any of the add-on packs.

                                    Now balance showing on my account is -ve(-55/-).Daily it's decreasing someamount.

                                    But in TV from Apr 8 Neo is coming continiously, I am calling them daily since Apr 8 regarding this.They r telling U've not subscribed to any channels and ur -ve balances will be rectified.

                                    I am too much irritated talking with them daily.
                                    From last 1 week when I am talking with them they r telling me that I've no addon packs subscribed & everything will be rectified soon.When I am telling them to check again about my balance they put me on hold telling plz wait, we r talking with our higher authorities.Last 5 times I was on hold on my cell phone for 50 minutes, 1 hour, 45 minutes, 1:15minutes and 30 minutes.

                                    There is no office of BIG TV, in Orissa.So am unable to contact them directly.I am decided to do a consumer case against them and when 1 year of free service will over, I'll throw it and switch to other services.
                                    I cant continue with this type of service of BIGTV.

                                    SO IS THERE ANY WAY TO CANTACT THEIR HIGHER AUTHORITY DIRECTLY OR SUGGEST ME TO DO SOMETHING ??MY DAD IS SCOLDING ME DAILY REGARDING THIS ...

                                      Hi I taken Big Tv on august 27th and on the next day itself they came and installed.After some days my set top box starts giving trouble.I raise the complaint to the customer care.But no one showing ineterest to handle my call.The customer care is working fine by saying it will be solved with in 48 hrs time.So please dont go for Big Tv better go for another DTH if you really need quality service.This is my sincere request.Nearly some thosuands of cases are still pending with Big TV.

                                        I just wanted to share my worst experience with "Reliance BIG TV" DTH Service.
                                        First of all I request everybody not to purchase "Reliance BIG TV" connection.


                                        I bought Big TV's Set Top Box on 6-Sept-2008 and called the same day for scheduling installation. I was told that the installation will be done before 72 hours of calling. But till today 16-Sept-2008, no installation was performed, not even I received a call from BigTV to let me know the...

                                        I purchased Big TV on 27 /10/2009 in Gorakhpur. For installation i made a requet on 27/10/2008 the workorder or smart card no.number:_1476457 support people conformed installation will be done with in 24 hours but, they are failed to complete in promised time. Again i made a call and raised the complaint on 29/10/2009 the complaint number:_78957895 the promised the issue will close with in 24 hours but, installation not happened Every day i am calling to customer care they are telling installation will be done today again today...like

                                        So, friends dont go for BigTV. Service is very poor.

                                        Reliance Big TV — reinstallation of big tv (before 10 days)
