I had asked for Samsung Monte Mobile phone but was misguided to purchase Samsung Galaxy 5 phone on 10.10.2010. I was told by the salesperson that galaxy 5 was a superior to monte. whereas galaxy 5 does not have video conferencing.When complained to the Stores manager on 12.10.2010 says he is helpless as i have not specifically enquired about video conferencing in Galaxy 5 while purchasing.

    My wife (Shipra Shukla) has bought a mobile on 29/8/2010 from Reliance Digital Store at Shipra Mall, Ghaziabad, under 10% cash back offer vide invoice ref No C7095 #0041 dated[protected].

    Cash back Claim Form No 3016790 (received from the Reliance Digital store) was sent to Reward Point, Mumbai (the agency suggested by Reliance Digital store, while purchasing the mobile set) through DTDC courier ref Z20519459 on 7/9/2010 after that I neither received the cash back amount nor any update on its status. It was assured to us that the cash back will come to us through courier within one from the date of documents sent to Reward Points

    Till today we have not received the cheque for the Cash Back offer as promised by Reliance Digital store, while selling the mobile to us.

    We did file a complaint on 11/10/2010 with Ms. Anupriya, Reliance Digital, Shipra Mall, Ghaziabad from where the Mobile set was purchased, but she told us to chase this up directly with Mumbai and refused to provide any contact numbers.

    On conacting Reward Point on 11/10/2010 on phone no [protected], it was told to me that the claim has been rejected by the company as they received the form only on 16th Sep.

    Therefore we are just informing you to file a complaint against Reliancedigital under the suitable section of Indian laws asking them to

    1. send the claim to us without any further delay alongwith formal apology letter
    2. not to cheat anyone with such type of schemes.

    If need be I am able to provide the copies of the all the documents e.g. invoice, claim form DTDC courier receipt, Vouchers etc., that may be required from our side.

    Reliancedigital Retail Ltd — Not providing the free services on Split Air Conditioner

    Dear sir,

    I am yet to receive the free services for the defective A/C that was installed on the[protected] and it nearing one year since it was installed.

    This should not have happened from a company of your reputation.

    Moreover the the company (Reliancedigital Retail Ltd) located at 227 NSC Bose Road who sold the item, does not seem to bother over requests made to them to honor their commitment, in that the Free Services which were supposed to have been provided after the sale and installation, have not been provided.

    You are requested to kindly do the needful and instruct Reliancedigital to take the matter seriously and provide the free service as per terms of Sale.

      I bought a TATA Vertis AC on 17/4/2010. TIN no: [protected]. Since the first day the remote of the AC was not functioning properly. I tried calling up the service center thrice for this, yet there was no response from the store on this. After three months, I tried reaching to the customer service for AC servicing which also didnt happen after repeated calling.

      I am highly dissapointed with the level of service provided by Reliance Digital.

      Finally after calling the Reliance digital's service more than 5-6 times and my wife having to visit the Reliance Digital showroom at Shipra Mall, Indirapuram asking for an email ID to lodge a formal complaint, the air-conditioner was finally serviced last Sunday (16th October, 2010)

        I plead for the attention to the problem I am facing now for over a month because of the servicing I got done through Reliance for the Kent RO I purchased a year back from Reliance Mart at Faridabad.

        I purchased this RO on Aug 21, 2009 & before the warranty period lapse we requested for servicing, at Reliance Mart at Faridabad. One Mr. Nirmal Singh, was sent (Now I have come to know that he is not on your panel as he can not get parts issued against his name). He serviced & fitted local candles. Post service, water from RO started giving unbearable smell. After many requests, Mr. Nirmal visited after few days & changed the candles again & again with the non genuine local ones. Problem did not get resolved. Later he told that membrane will be changed & after few days membrane was changed under warranty. But now I could observe moisture inside the cabin where filters are located. A week later, the adopter went off. It was changed after some days under warranty. By this time my RO had come out of warranty. A week later, the adopter which was changed also went off. I called up nirmal singh & reliance both but they intend to charge both for the adopter & checking the problem. My RO is lying with Nirmal Singh for more than one week. I have knocked all the doors. Got in touch with one Mr. Pankaj at Reliance Rescue as well but no solution.

        Local candles, moisture inside the cabin, un-authorised person handling the RO or a faulty adopter - anything can be a reason for the adopter failure but why should I be made to pay for this. Therefore I request for the candle change from local ones to the Genuine Kent Candles ( for which whatever extra amount is due over Rs. 600 that I paid to Mr. Nirmal Singh for the local Candles, will be borne by me) & adopter be changed under warranty .

        I made mistake of purchasing something from Reliance & will never do so in future but please forgive the mistake & help me with early resolution of the problem.

          hello..
          i had purchased a samsung metro-5200 with cash back offer of amount(RS 500+RS 50) on 31aug 2010.
          I mailed it along with all the other documents(as per requirements) to the given address. Today after more than a month, i called the toll free number-[protected] to inquire about the matter. To my surprise i got to know that my application has been rejected because everything was recieved except the claim form.
          Now this is ridiculous. Why would i make such an effort to sent every required doc and not sent the most critical one. I know that i had sent the claim form. I feel cheated.

            I had purchased a nokia-7210 mobile from reliance digital, koramangala 4th block, bangalore on 15 Aug 2010 (Invoice no.77). There was a cash back offer of Rs.400 on it. To avail the offer i had sent the required documents to Reward Port, Mumbai (B-901, Fairlink center, monginis lane, off new link road, andheri(w), mumbai) within the specified time limit through speed post(sp-pod : EK[protected]IN dated 17/08/2010). The claim form's terms and conditions clearly specifies that the cash back cheque will be sent within 4 weeks of receipt of the documents. but I havent received the cheque till today(Oct 4, 2010). Whenever i call them they tell me that the formalities have been completed and the cheque will reach me within 10 days. Please look into this matter and take action immediately.

            Even I had Samsung mobile from Reliance Digital Vashi showroom on 15-Aug-2010 under 10% cash back offer. It was too strange to see such kind offer wherein person who is buying the mobile himself not getting 10% cash back on the spot but he has to send his verification documents, very funny.

            After submitting all the required documents to the said address and confirming the same with them that all required documents had been received, I was started eagerly waiting for cheque from Reliance Digital but till date did not receive my cheque. Meanwhile we constantly followed up with them on 26747400. Every time some new executive heard my full story and conveyed the message that payment is in process and will get the cheque within a week.

            Last confirmation they gave me in October that because of some technical issue they will now send my cheque by 15th Nov, however I haven't received any cheque.

            This is really disappointing process from Reliance Digital.

            Please take strict action on Reliance Digital for such false commitment.
            I had same experience, I bought nokia 5230 and sent coupons worth 750/- Rs. to mumbai. My claim form number is : 2930231.

            Till now I received message that your request is in processing and you will get cheque within 10 working days by 3 different persons from travelport when I send mail to check the status on : [protected]@travelport.in.

            I doubt any one has received this kind of cash back. Looks like just publicity stunt to attract people by stating 10% discount on products.

            Really disappointing.

            Hope someone would look at it.

              I beg respectfully to state that, my name is Sumit Guha and my mail id is [protected]@gmail.com. I bought one digital camera (NIKON S3000 DIGI CAM) from Reliance Digital store locate on Bansdroni, kolkata. And there was a free gift(designer watch) with this product. That time the sales executive told me that, that time the free gift was not present. And he commited to me that the free gift i will get as soon as possible and he will ring me about this gift. And it was over 2 weeks and no reply I was getting from the Reliance Digital.

              We choose Reliance Digital not only for their product, also we expect better service from their side which I was not getting from them.I don't know when they will make their "valuable" time for ring me for collect the gift.

                this is regarding a refrigirator i had purchased from Reliance Digital. On 19th September 2010 ,I had made the required dealings payements of the refrigirator.However i was told that the refrigirator i had asked for was not presently available with them and that it would be delivered on the address maximum within 7 days. its has 4 days now that the same has not been delivered . the customer care personnel has been answering the calls since that past 4 days saying that it will be deliverd "tomorrow". However the tomorrow is getting delayed again and again.
                We are facing a lot of problem at our residence without a fridge.
                Reliance Digital is a big name and it should not
                render to such shoddy treatment .

                  i am not at all surprised by your reply.. cheaters like your company can not give a better answer.. when i purchased my mobile from reliance digital , they never told me to submit the details within 10 days... & due to bank holidays & weekends my details reached you only 1 day late.. it reached you on 26th aug. ( 19th was holiday for pateti & 24th for raksha bandhan) but i know you people just look where the customer makes a small mistake... & you get a chance to reject discount vouchers.

                  next time find some good & justified reasons to fool people. & for your kind information let me assure you i am going to take this matter to consumer awarness forum... cheaters like you need to be tought a leason.

                    I bought a geyser from reliance digital secunderabad , CG-company product..,with in one month the Sensor coils got burned and replaced them, with in two days again same problem observed , updated the complaint to the Crompton Graves.. ,again they changed the Sensor but after one month again same problem observed.... really this product is of 5-star rated for electric consumption...

                        Yesterday i bought a desktop computer form Ambiance Mall shop. Shop name is Reliance digital. This shop owners advertise the branded company name Lenovo desktop computers available with the configuration H220 model no desktop, with 20 inch TFT, 3GB RAM, 520 GB hard disk + combo drive and canon printer also with this. If any one buying please visit ambiance mall shop. So i bought one. Then reached at home and desktop computer to start and check the configuration of system. And the system configuration is low after i contact to the dealer but he is not give me the detail.
                        So i register the complaint. Please Help me. I am frustrated.

                          Reliance Digital Rd. no.12, Banjara hills, Hyderabad.
                          Reliance digital cheated the customers, they priced more than the original brands owned outlets. I purchased a laptop on blindly believing on them, Later I knew that, 4000 rupees more than the original branded shop's own outlet.
                          When i ask about this to them, they told its like that only.. bloody cheaters

                            this is not complete working 180 days.

                            and one other complaints regional package charge extra rs:5 for rest of India. or south me free why?

                              Myself Arun Vijayan, from Kerala. I was a big fan of BigTV but now I will think twice before buying any Rel. Product. My smart card no. is[protected].

                              These are the areas - I believe - BigTV need to work,

                              First - Customer Care
                              [protected][protected]
                              * Very poor training to C.C.(customer care) Staff
                              After a long wait to get connected to C.C. - probable over 15min. - a C.C. Rep. pops up and stands by for service.
                              You ask him any question, his next reply will be - may I put you on hold, this was true for me in 7 out of 10 times. Sometime the hold may last for over 15 to 20 min, a new guy pops up and stands by for service, remember the first guy - where is he now, what for we where on hold - no idea.
                              The second one will have a bit bossy type voice - thinking he might help, we repeat the question, again in another 1 min., the very old question comes up - "may I up you on hold". Well this hold will only last for 5 to 10 min.
                              The C.C. Rep., pops back and says - Its a technical complaint - this will be informed to the back end. Do you think its for this answer we having been waiting. Ashamed of myself I usually, drop the call.

                              * Very low standards -- overall
                              Sometime if you are so lucky, when calling to BTV C.C., even if you select your preferred Language as English, to will land up in Telugu or Kannada C.C. of BigTV. Here these people will not speak a word in English or will not transfer your call to a English C.C.. You have to cut the call and start the process all over.
                              Have you ever heard old Chinese or Japanese people trying to talk in English - just try remember their English slang. I am so sorry to say but if you haven't experienced - try call BigTV C.C..

                              Second - 2 hidden technical complaints

                              * Select Button in BigTV Remote
                              After a software update from the vendor in April 2010 (last week if am correct), the select button in BigTV remote or the PIP (Picture in Picture) function where 12 channels are displaced in one screen have stopped functioning.
                              Now (as on 08 - Sep - 2010) you can only view the movies group, all the other groups have goen.

                              * Forced to see one channel first
                              Normally before April - when watching a channel, you press power button on your remote, there is a big time delay
                              for the STB to power down. Thats ok I can adjust with this. But the moment you power down the STB and restart, channel "100 - Preview" is a forced to view - channels. When compared with other DTH operators, this is not the case.

                              Very poor Customer Care & After Sales-Set up box non-replacement for 2 months
                              Hi,

                              Myself Vijimol J V, from Kollam, Kerala, very much aggrieved with the poor customer relationship of the customere care centre and the nearby customer relation centre at Anjallumoodu, Kollam. My smart card no. is[protected]. I had put many a complaint regarding my set up box for the last two months. The last two complaint No.s which I had noted down is as follows.[protected] &[protected]. The problem is the visual changes to blue and later total black out. Continuous playing never lasts for a 10 minutes.
                              After an hour rendering call I got connected to C.C. - probable over 15min. - a C.C. Rep. pops up and stands by for service.
                              You ask him any question, his next reply will be - may I put you on hold, this was true for me in 7 out of 10 times. Sometime the hold may last for over 15 to 20 min, a new guy pops up and stands by for service, remember the first guy - where is he now, what for we were on hold - no idea.
                              The second one will come - thinking he might help, we repeat the question, again in another 1 min., the very old question comes up - "may I up you on hold". Well this hold will only last for 5 to 10 min
                              After many a such calls for the first time, The very imp person arise in my home, ‘One of the technicians’ He changed the AV CODE to COMPONENT OUT and told if the problem still exists call back. He had left after a few minutes the problem started. I called him back to the no. he had given me. But showed no response at all.
                              I called back to the customer relation center (Nearby one) at Anjallumoodu. The call was answered;” the complaint is regarding the set up box and it has to be replaced”. He gave me a new date. I asked him if he can come after working hours to which he had agreed. Still I took leave and waited for the technician to come. None came. Again started the same process calls to the toll free nos. none responds for the first three or five calls. After all when we get the CC, starts the same questions and answerings. After a long holds and waiting the call transfers to the Technical section and the technician started asking the same questions. After such a Himalayan task, he began giving instructions for software updation. For a while the setup box started working. Later the Shankaran began to climb the coconut tree. The problem still persists.
                              I had started a fresh complaint (No.[protected] again to which the CC replied The setup box will be replaced before 08/09/10. I believed him and took leave on that day waiting .None come. I called the nearby center Anjalumoodu, Kollam to make it sure that they reach our home the next day. The man there answered politely that Set up box is out of stock and he will fix it by Friday. We too have leave. Today, Friday I called the CC, Anjalumodu. To which he changes his words that he had told me that he would send the technician Saturday. It is unbearable and exceeding all the limits. Tomorrow I m out of station. So I thought of moving to the Consumer court suing this irresponsible service centres and for damages and compensation for the wastage of my time.

                              It is shame that such a great company like reliance has such an irresponsible customer relation centers.
                              Now I had been spending an Hour each with the CC daily. To all CC executives I may be familiar now.

                              We’re working people and had spent two days casual leave for the replacement of the set up box.


                              I think, there is no co ordination with the Customer care at Bombay and the local centres. Different directions are given by both these centers. Both irresponsible.

                                I am very disappointed to your scheme.Is your scheme is only for the cream people.
                                I went to your reliance digital, Ambience mall to take the benefit of your 15 Rs scheme.The person who were sitting for finance told me that your name is not written on your debit card, you have to submit your bank statement.When i shown him my bank statement then he told me that now we will finance you but after few minute he explain me new policy that your are come in WOW lite so i have to take permission to HO.But it is sure that we will finance you, we will do the further process on monday. When i went there today he told me that you have taken loan from Bajaj that'swhy we can't finance you.When i told him that i have never taken any loan even for my education then he immediately get back from his words.Then his next point was that we don't finance at Mahipalpur area, New Delhi.Even he financed a family who is living in Rangpuri which comes in Mahipalpur.
                                So i advise you don't expel those schemes which you are unable to give your customer.

                                  We have taken Whirlpool Tlwm white magic 123650Oh Blk Washing Machine from Reliance Digital Retail Ltd from there show room from Koram Mall Thane on 25/07/10. This was taken on buy back policy, i.e.we hve given our working machine and taken a new machine. The delivery was effected by them on 26/07/10 vide their delivery note no.80890157 and told us not to open unless the company representative doesent come for demo. The comany rep has opened and we saw that there were scratches on the surface of machine and no where it was looking like a n ew one. So we have not accepted the delivery and contacted reliance digitial people, they said that the Representative of Whirpool (Engineer) will come and inspect accordingly the representative has come he also agreed that the Machine is having scratches and said that u will get the replacement.

                                  When we again approached Reliance they said that we do not know exactly when the replacement will be given by the company. We told we have taken the machine from you and you should take the intititave to get us the replacement faster, or else give us some other model even if it is costing more, we will pay for it for which also they hve not agreed. We told them that you have taken our working machine and not giving replacement and ultimately we are suffering for no fault o[censored]s.

                                  We feel that this is UNPROFESSIONAL APPROACH of the company.

                                  Please look in toi the matter and give us the replcement latest by 1st August Evening

                                    I bought a hard drive from reliance digital 5 days back. It didnt come with cable or warranty card and it didnt work in the first place. On asking fo replacement they sent us to accel who said they will take 25 days to process it. Isnt it better if reliance had refunded the money on the spot and i cud hav got a new hd for that money ?

                                    the staff attitude was horrible... nobody was thr to answer you in the first place.

                                      We booked a Videocon, fully automatic Washing Machine at the Reliance Digital store, Vashi on a sunday. The product was delivered well on time on Monday. On Tuesday a field executive called in for an appointment for the Machine demo n installation. I kept waiting all day through for him to come and do the installation and the demo. he didnt show up at all. Wednesday again he called and said he would come on the same day. I confirmed a the time and waited. When enquired about the previous day he said he came but the door was locked.Which cudnt have been the case as I was at home waiting.... So I said why didnt you call me if the door was locked. he excussed himself by stating he didnt have network on his phone. So I said you should have checked with the neighbours, he said it didnt strike him. It was very obvious he had not come. I asked him to come on wednesday anytime between 2 pm- 4 pm. He called me at 3.50 pm and said he will take half and hour to reach me as he was busy attending to some other customers call. I told him I cant wait as I need to leave to go out. Immediately he said he will reach me in 10mins as he had a bike. I had no time to argue with him and simply told him to come the next day. Next day, Thursday, he didnt call, neither did he attend to my phone calls and the day was wasted in the wait.
                                      Friday, I went to the store and told them I wish to lodge a complaint they enquired, heard and spoke to this field executive and said he will come today. Irrespective of this I said I would yet like to lodge a written complaint and I was told they dont have a process to take customer complaints !!! I suggested a time between 4 pm - 6pm. He didnt show up till 6pm so I called the store and after all this torture finally the machine is installed today at 7 pm.

                                        I have purchased a whirlpool white magic 123/650D 6.5kg washing machine from Reliance Digital Patamata Vijayawada on[protected]. They have collected the amount Rs 12790/- along with bajaj rice cooker at Rs200/-and promised to deliver the same next day at my house and send installation team the next day.
                                        Next evening they telephoned that the piece selected by us is having defects and wanted us to come select a new piece of different model as that model is obsolete and withdrawn by the company. After an hour they again telephoned to inform that they are able to locate the problem and got it repaired and we need not come for selection of a new piece. I told them that I do not want a repaired piece and not to send it.
                                        Next day I went and they showed another piece of 123/650H BLK white magic and told that the rate is Rs 14790/- ie) Rs 2200 more than the price I paid. I refused to pay and finally accepted to pay Rs1000/- more. They refused and insisted on payment of Rs 14790/-, gave me credit note for the amount I paid with advise that they can give any item which is more priced than the price I paid for the previous machine.
                                        I refused and wanted then to return my money as they have not delivered for which they claim that their rules do not permit. I feel that they tricked me in parting with Rs12790/- and now started insisting on payment of higher amount.
                                        Thus they have impounded my money for no fault of mine and blackmailing me to pay more and take that or other item.
                                        I just want my money back.
