    Hi sir/madam,

    I am writing this letter to bring your notice that reliance energy has been charging unrealistic bill amount. The latest bill for july 2018 is completely a dispute as the units have grown as compared to the previous month. Every month they are increasing the units. On what basis they are counting it?

    I am complaining since last year, for the same issue by writing a letter on paper, but no action is being taken by reliance energy team. I requested them to check the meter and replaced it, but no action has been taken. I think meter they used is faulty or they are doing fraud around this.

    I would like to bring this matter on a serious note and make a case around it as reliance energy cannot take the common man on a ride.

    April 2018 bill amount rs. 2640.00 for 319 unit
    May 2018 bill amount rs. 2430.00 for 305 unit

    You are hereby requested to take the matter on high priority as reliance energy will expect us to pay this money and then they will investigate which will go to complete waste.

        I am getting too much bill since last 4 months it has shoot up to 3 times as it was coming 400 to 500 now directly it jumped to 1300 & so...           It has been more than a week that the area around the Danger box[protected] and premises through our place (which was properly plastered) kept open by your staff and this is of every time whenever you guys work. We always plaster it for our safety as it makes it more dangerous and shock prone area for the people staying nearby and for passer-by in Monsoon. Now we are fed up with such kind of careless work by you all every time. Request your concern to cover the open area for the public safety.

            My electricity bill from last 6 months is exceptionally high irrespective o[censored]sage.
            Even when entire family is travelling for vacation monthly bill come in the range of[protected]
            The bill amount for july is 5000 nd of june 2018 was 6000.
            I fail to understand this
            As we are two member working family and most of the appliances are only used at night.
            This clearly indicates error.
            I request for immediate check on this matter

              I am disappointed that you have not contacted me to make arrangements receiving very high electricity bills and not response anything.

                This is regarding my electricity bill which is very high

                On 20th july a technician had come and changed our meter stating that it is faulty. (Without us making a complaint)

                The next i realized my bill was very high ie rs 3200 so i made a complaint on 21st july.

                After making a complaint, another technician came for an inspection on 25th july. Obviously he is going to say there is no defect in the meter because it was changed few days ago.

                When i requested for a day wise break up of how many units were consumed they said it was not possible.

                And i could get my meter rechecked by paying rs 200.

                Why would i get it rechecked when the meter was recently replaced.

                My may bill was inr 710 and apr 770

                Moreover we face a lot of power cuts. Below are some of the complaint numbers

                  This is to bring to your notice that reliance energy has been charging unrealistic bill amount. The latest bill for may 2018 & june – 2018 are completely a dispute as the units have grown 3x times as compared to previous month or even as compared to apr 2018. They are faulty meters or fraud going around this and everytime a complaint is raised they wash their hands off by saying no problem all ok. I would like to bring this matter on a serious note and make a case around it as reliance energy cannot be take common man on a ride.

                  Apr[protected] units bill amount rs. 1580.00/-
                  May[protected] units bill amount : 5310/- (Dispute for comparison)
                  June[protected] units bill amount : 3440/- (Dispute for comparison)

                  There are been no such drastic change in usage for the units to be 4x as compared to last month. 20% to 25% higher usage is acceptable but not 4x. Also we have small house like 1 bhk and there are no other heavy electric items for consumptions of highly energy, you can check for the same.
                  So we are hereby request you to take matter on top priority as reliance energy will expect us to pay this money and then they will investigate which will go to complete waste.
                  Also we are not paying the june 2018 bill until the may 2018 bill problem has not been solved.

                    Sub:-Negligence of concern departments/un reasonable charges levied by vigilance department

                    Dear, Sir/Madam

                    We are a resident at Jija Mata Marg Pump House Andheri East from last 45 years During the BMC road widening process at the above given address on 17/12/2017 our meter box (situated in BMC demarcation area) was Demolished/dislocated.

                    Ever since we are running around your concern departments for meter box shifting we met Mr.Sanjay Parab (DGM) least 12 to 15 times, (which you can check in your visitor entry register at ground floor) between December to march who handed this matter to Mr.Nitin Jadhav. it took around 4 months to received an estimate Dated[protected] in the name of geesaram dularam choudry Ser order no:-[protected], which we paid on 26/04/2018 it took more than three months after paying estimate

                    Between this 7 months of mental torture we met MR.Sanjay Parab (DGM), MR.Keward,
                    MR.Sushant Singha(ADDL VP) many times for the help and explained the situation that we are borrowing electric supply for a living from our Neighbors from last 4 months and requested them to start our service or provide us with a temporary meter or a connection until our service is started which they completely denied by saying they do not have the stock of cable/joints/other meterials.then we asked all three officers to give us in writing why they cannot arrange temporary connection, which also they denied and said it’s illegal to borrow supply from any other source and said action will be taken.

                    Since last 6 months we are borrowing electric supply for a living from our Neighbors, after the concern officers update on (borrowing supply is illegal) we removed the supply from our neighbors and lived in a dark without electricity for 7days later we contacted one of your licensed contractor Mr.Santosh Borker (agent)he assured us that he will arrange a temporary connection from the authority’s and on 27/05/2018 he provided us electric supply from 6way red box situated on the road next to our house.

                    On 01/06/2018 vigilance department came and removed the connection we explained our complete matter of last 6 months harassment of concern authorities to Mr.V.S.Kunte/ Mr.Koluskar they said ok and asked to sign a document by assuring that we will only be charged with minimum penalty for last four days usage and handed over an notice, during this process the said license contractor was present at the time of inspection and under his guidance we signed the notice.

                    On 23/06/2018 we received a penalty notice of Rs 26951/- addressed to consumer K. Bhagwan das account no[protected] and to consumer Geesaram Daularam Choudry of Rs 9108/-account no[protected], for 6 months unauthorized supply usage. which we never used.

                    Next day we we met the under signed officer on the penalty notice, and explained the whole situation instead of giving us proper word he only said either we have to pay the penalty amount or face legal action.

                    Please provide an information on: -
                    Is it consumers mistake if the reliance authority’s does not have available stock of cables/joints/materials etc. to fix our issue and leaving existing consumer to suffer for than 7 months, who’s responsible ?

                    Are there any regulations/time limit/deadline towards reliance authorities to get the job done if yes is it 7 months.

                    Since electricity is an main source of living and can be available only through government body (MSEB) and no third party can provide it, a customer has to live without electricity until the authority provides it ? If not what is the alternate?

                    If the designated officer or department replies with an answer by saying, we cannot help or nothing can be done where customer should go?

                    Requesting you to please look into this matter with an enquiry/action in a positive manner, since the unauthorized connection was just for a living, not intended to steal electricity or any other purpose,
                    As per regulations we are ready to pay for the actual usage for 4 days

                            I reside at kallu yadav chawl, rn8, gaondevi road, poisar, kandivali east, near poisar police chowki.

                            There is one meter boxt at front of my house in a very bad condition. People are care less about it may be they are waiting for some damage.

                            I request you all that please visit once at my address to see the current situation.

                            It is very risky and please do some action on it, it may cause some one life, can't say.

                              This is to inform that many complain given due to non supply we are facing problem of non power supply & due to heavy load it get tripped heavy load means theft electricity from the main electrical box but no action is taken from reliance even requested to give the separate cable connection.
                              Here in my area many many theft connections are there but reliance energy is not taking actions

                                I have been trying to connect to the customer care of Reliance Energy on their specified Toll Free Number.

                                No matter how many times I try I only get a notification that your call can not be completed.

                                I don't know where the issue is but it's clear that REliance Energy customer care numbers on Toll free access do not work. I have tried from both mobiles as well as landline.

                                  I am a resident of borivali west link road madhav apt. Since 1.30 there is a power phase cut. The building cannot fill municipal water, neither the lift of the building is working.. There are senior citizens who have been complaining since morning... What's happening.. This is happening every week now.. When inquired from. U r centre they say some union problem is gng on... But becoz o[censored] r problem why have to we suffer... Pathetic

                                      Last couple of months there has been a spike in the disruption of power supply, and mostly there are multiple power surges within a span of 5-10 minutes interval, the outcome is that my a/c's, refrigerator, and the microwave we electrically damaged. I had to unnecessarily bear the cost of repairs for all the appliances for their fault.

                                      My concern here is, if there is a fault from the consumer side there with regards to bill payments etc. A penalty is always imposed, similarly, in my above mention issue i want the company to be penalized and bear the cost of repairs occurred due to the inefficient power supply. This will make sure company understands the additional expenses the consumers have to bear due to their inefficient power supply.

                                        I am getting a very excess bill that is above rs. 10, 000/- since last 2 months. The bill appears to be unreasonably high as i know for certain that our consumption of electricity is not so high. Our all previous bills were in between rs. 3000/- to 4000/-

                                        I request you to please look in this matter seriously and send your person to check the meter is faulty or weather the person came at the time of taking meter reading from your site took wrong reading just based on assumption.

                                        Please inform us the reason why am i getting so much excess bill and when are you going to send your person to check our meter. Other wise i have to go for other option.

                                        I appreciate if this matter o[censored]nfair excess billing is resolved at the earliest. Waiting for your immediate action.

                                        Reliance Energy customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        The bills for the month of May'2018 iron account now.[protected] &[protected] are billed with fake amounts for previous dues which is incorrect.Complaint already filed on email for rectification of bills to enable me pay by due date.

                                        it looks so surprising that your bills raised for the month of May 2018 is stuufed with previou dues which are fake.The reason for the same is that no previous amount was kept unpaid.As such, there is no questin of any such payment and the same needs to be expunged so that I pay the current tarrif.In my opinion, this much is sufficien to understand the complaint for resolution.
