I bought jiofi device with postpaid connection from reliance jio infocomm for rs. 1999/- from its authorised store. And i have made a deposit of rs.400/- as security deposit for that postpaid connection. At the time of purchase they got my signature for ecs acceptance to pay the bills through my bank. I asked them about the ecs presentation dates, so that i can keep balance in my account, they told all will be intimated to you before ecs execution.
At that time they offered free data and calls for jio connections. The complimentary period ended on end of july. I didn't receive any bill or communication from jio regarding bill details or payments.
On 28th of september, coincidentally i logged into my account in jio website, they mentioned that i have to pay rs. 99/- for the month of august and rs. 346/- for the month of september and the pay by date is 30th of september.
But my plan is prime mrp 303/- monthly. But they charged me rs. 346/- mothly.
I immediately paid the total bill amount rs. 445/- through my bank account in online and got the payment received message.
On 29th september jio intiated the ecs in my account for rs. 445/- without any intimation, there was no balance in my account on that date the ecs was returned and bank penalised rs 413.00 as ecs return charges on my account. Though the pay by date is on 30th september they initiated the ecs on 29th september itself. But i paid the bill amount before.
Regarding this i wrote several mails to [protected]@jio.com, they replied me in a lethargical manner.
Then i received the bill in my mail for the month of october for rs. 459/-. I mailed them that only rs. 303/- should be my bill amount instead you charged me rs. 459/-. For that they replied that it includes taxes and cheque return charges.
I am wondering without any intimation they initiated the ecs, for that the bank already charged me rs. 413/- and then jio also charging me rs. 169.50 as cheque return charges.
Kindly help me to get back my charges. Thanking you.
