[Resolved] Religare Health Insurance — refunding against policy cancellation within 1 month from purchase | |||||
First of all i would like to inform you that i am very disappointed with very slow response from policy bazzar & "Religare" services & have the following concern against PURCHASED POLICY 12084707. 1) I have purchased this health policy by policy bazzar of Religare on date 06-Feb-2018 which policy period start from 07-Feb'2018 as mentioned in document which received by e-mail during the time of purchase. 2) I initiated cancellation request to policy bazzar on date 06-Mar-2018 within one month from date of purchase but policy bazzar forward to Religare after so many calls to me that " sir plz don't cancel the policy" they taken 17-18 days to pass cancellation e-mail to Religare. But it's not my fault Religare allowed them to sale his policy and during sale of policy they recommended me to purchase Religare policy so it's Religare responsibility to consider my cancellation request e-mail of date 06-mar-2018 it's doesn't matter when they e-mail to Reliigare or Religare need to pre defined in document that policy bazzar request of cancellation will not acceptable.. 3) Now Religare customer care guys says that policy term & condition is : Free lookup period : with 15 days of policy purchase 25% deduction : between 16 days to 1 month 50% deduction : After 1 month to 3 month. But i checked his document there is no such term & condition mentioned in term & condition point. Even they mentioned in "Note" that document need to be surrendered during cancellation of policy, refer the same document enclosed for your ready reference. 4) No clarity to Religare customer care & policy bazzar customer care guys different different person says different deduction process some says very less amount to be deducted in your cancellation, some says cancellation refund shall be based on pro-data basis, some says it will be 25 %, some says 50% also you can check call in your customer care with Ms. Sabita. she says sir very less amount shall be deducted, more than 75% shall be refund. As a customer which one is right it's very difficult to understand. Mostly buyer have very less income salaried person to whom it's very difficult to manage monthly expanses but they handling them very mismanaged way & pass time free look & more than 1 month to deduct heavy amount as a penalty. In same way they deducted 50% amount from premium i.e. not except-able even i informed within one month as well as they not mentioned such conditions in documents with team & condition during sale of policy. In context to trailing e-mail & update from your side on date 24.04.18 that full refund will initiated within 7 working days. But as on date approx 14 days over but yet not received plz check & update.
