I am writing this complaint with reference to my religare reimbursement claim no[protected]. After my delivery i submitted all my medical records and hospital bills to religare health insurance company. After receiving my documents they asked for blank cheque signed and cancelled by me. I sent the cheque as requested by them via professional courier. Again they wanted me to send a neft mandate form signed by the bank authorities of the branch in which i hold the account. I sent the neft mandate form signed by the bank authorities via professional courier. Inspite of having received both the documents via courier, still they are sending reminder letter asking for the signed and cancelled cheque and the neft mandate form. It's been more than 2 months since i submitted the claim and the requested documents, but there is no sign of settlement from religare health insurance. This is giving me psychological stress. Very very cheap attitude shown to the customers by religare health insurance company. I feel cheated.

    My name is Lalit. In september 2018 i had take Religare Health Insurance policy. Due to a misshapingI (Injury wrist due to fall at stairs) i was admitted in RAMA Hospital(Sonipat). After discharge by Hospital i was submitted all related documents(In November 2018 1st week). But yet my claim not settled and many time mailing to claim department on mail id:([protected]@religare.com) but not getting any reply. Yet my claim amount is pending. Please do the needful.

    Dear Sir/Ma’m,

    My claim amount was Rs. 17572/- And my claim settled amount is Rs. 7572/- only. Religare team deducted Rs. 10000/- In the name of his term and condition.

    But when I took the policy by Religare Executive (Mr. Basant Oberoy) was not told anything about this term and condition to me. Please check the call recordings.

    Why did not tell me Religare health insurance term and conditions when giving the policy?

    Who is the responsible for this. Please consider it and pay complete claim amount to me.

        Hi everyone, i am jatinder singh from gurdaspur, punjab. My claim no.90592837.
        I am submit all my orignal document to this company. After submit document to company, claim department did mail to me and told me to submit your diagnose report, tpa settlement letter or orignal bill.
        I am submit orignal bill also sent scan copy in email to him.
        All time i am ask him what is tpa settlement letter who give me and how i am provide you. They don't told me or i don't know where to get. Because i don't know about the tpa. If i take policy from religare, religare settle my claim. Now they said your claim reject because you reply late to us according to term and conditions. I advice to all people never take religare insurance. It's fraud company and they make fool the people. I am decided to take a legal action on that.

          Sir company ko maine[protected] ko payment kiya tha aaj tak company ne policy renew nahi ki.. Aur koi reply bhi aisa nahi kiya ki me satisfy ho aur bahut hi jyada mentality disturb kar ke rakha hai maine 26145/rs kaa payment neft kiya tha.. Aaj kehte hai ki aapka payment mila hi nahi...             I took religare health insurance a couple of years ago, the premium was very high but the sum assured was 15 lac, there were tons of benefits associated with the health plan.

            I just fell ill for the first time in 2 years, in fact, i am at the hospital right now, waiting to get discharged since morning. Religare has denied to pay the total bill of 55k, and has asked me to pay 25k from my pocket. My policy covered single room, bit i lived in triple sharing room for the past six days.

            I feel cheated by the insurance provider, worse experience. I was diagnosed with dengue fever, and still have low platelet.

            Lost at the hospital, this is what religare has done to me, poor customer support, they are askine to pay without justification.

            Don't know why i trusted this cheap, low grade, insensitive insurance provider a couple of years ago.

                Hi, Running my loan account with Religare housing and loan account is XMHD0UN00105627 couple of days ago i received sms that they are increasing ROI 1 % where already its at 12.5% and now they are asking for 1 % more and one more important thing i would to mention its fixed not floating and when i reported this to customer care they denied.

                Religare housing behavior is very much annoying and they are fraud.

                  This is to bring to the notice that i am the patient admitted in the hospital for last 3 days under dengue report shows positive and under treatment for said many days, religare insurance has declined by hospital claim for payment, i am stuck in the hospital for non payment by religare insurance to paras hospital, gurgaon

                  Almost 3 days back i got admitted in emergency of paras hospital, gurgaon, bcoz i was suffering from fever from last 5 days on n off full day. I was not able to walk properly, full sweaty body, drained energy, giddyness state, fever, not able to think or decide but except knowing it's hospitals emergency who will look after, now after treatment n reports i was found dengue positive and was admitted by the hospital. Now after 24 hrs harrassment by religare health they have declined the case even inspite of providing complete evidences of treatment n reports n letters of doctors stating my condition of entering the hospital.

                  What should i do as a patient?

                    Hello All,

                    I am a holder of Religare policy number:[protected]policy start date: Feb 2018). Recently, my mother (Anju Mittal) suffered from Dengu fever and we had admitted her in Bhagwati hospital, Rohini on Oct 26, 2018. Then we had put together a cashless claim as per below details:

                    Claim number:[protected]
                    Date of admission: Oct 26, 2018
                    Date of discharge: Oct 31, 2018

                    As per the information shared with us, the cashless claim has been declined on the ground of patient has been suffering from Osteoarthritis from last 1 year (before the commencement of policy).

                    Not sure how many facts does Religare Health insurance check; but below is the true story:
                    1. How is treatment of Dengue Fever linked to Osteoarthritis? Doesn't make any sense at all.
                    2. My mother has been suffering from Osteoarthritis only since last 6 months (which is well after we have shifted to Religare policy and well covered). Also attaching a support letter from concerned doctor.
                    3. Their customer support desk service is very pathethic as well. They just don't know how to speak with customers. They keep on repeating illogical points without giving any resolution.

                    This is a clear case of cheating with the customer. These type of incidence take all the trust from a branded company like Religare. I would never recommend Religare Health Insurance to anyone now.

                      I am writing to complain about your official at your bellary office, mr. Rajesh. Who is rude and has not been trained to behave with customers. I would like to thereby close my account at religare.

                      First of all my brokerage was too high, at.5, opened about 5 years or so back, which i complained about and was reduced. But i have asked for my amc to be waivered as i am not paying amc at my kotak securities account. Secondly, for online account activation rs. 999 has been deducted, i want reimbursal of the same, as i wish to close the account.

                        I got admitted in lotus hospital at luhar tekra, opp. To geeta sadan, valsad (396001) and i was treated under dr. Kalpesh joshi (M. D).
                        The claim got rejected as they told there was no need of getting admit in hospital but the fact was there was great need of admit as there was high fever with high cough n cold with very seviour muscular pain...
                        I belong to middle class family and we are highly dependent on this claim money. So please help me in getting my claim money.

                            Hi,

                            My wife chandani get admitted to the hospital (Msrmh) on 29th aug 18. She had lscs. I informed to babu and bharat regarding same before she had lscs and the cashless treatment started from same day.

                            The hospital sent pre-auth to the religare with the estimated cost of 68k and initially they (Religare) approved 50k (Without raising any concern on opted service) in order to start the treatment. Please find the same pre-auth in the attachment named pre-auth. Pdf

                            In the pre-auth they have clearly mentioned that it is a package for lscs of amount 60k and no where they have mentioned only the bed charge as 6200 which religare is claiming to have. Please refer the pre-auth. Pdf in the attachment for more details which states that the amount inr 6400 comprises doctor’s fee, investigation charges etc and not only the bed charge. Again which comes under package of lscs.

                            I requested the hospital for the final discharge summary and i am including the same with this email named dischargesummary. Pdf

                            I have below question which need to be clearified.

                            Please refer the dischargesummary. Pdf in the attachment and clarify that how come you have deducted the further amount which were initially approved from you, leave about the approval of remaining amount (60k – 50k = 10k).

                            Incase you were assuming that the patient had opted for higher service and the estimated bill sent from hospital in the pre-auth is 68k then how come you approved 50k initially, it should not be more than ~25k? Which again mis leaded us that approval of bill is almost complete from religare side.

                            If you were mis-interpreted the pre-auth (And assumed that i opted for the higher service) then how come you have not raised your concern that time and instead approved 50k? That means you were waiting for the moment/opportunity so that you (Religare) can pay the bill as less as possible.

                            As per my understanding and so far experience with religare, it clearly shows that first you tried to mislead us by approving the random amount (50k) against the estimated bill (68k) and then tried for the minimal possible pay-out by making excuses that patient has opted the higher service.

                            After hearing lot of negatives from the policy holder’s of religare (Like religare will always give you excuses and create some drama when it comes to pay the genuine bill, so that they (Religare) will pay the minimal possible bill), i use to contact 2 times a day (During my wife’s hospitalization) to the religare customer support team over phone call to know the status and none of your executive informed me about your assumption/belief that i opted the higher service, instead they use to assured me that you will get your whole amount i. E. 60k in this case. Please check this record/fact and verify. Who is responsible incase your customer support team is sharing wrong info.

                            Please let me know your intensions regarding paying the genuine bill amount (60k) so that i can refund your ~28k as well incase religare is not intended to pay genuine bills.

                              Dear sir,

                              I had already sent complaint regarding to the my policy no:[protected] on dated 20-aug-18 and the complaint reference no is e[protected]. But within 7 days i am not getting any response from religare support team.

                              Today i just got mail on behalf of my complaint, your policy is decline due to credit not received against above said policy.

                              Sir, i want to ask some question:-

                              Question no 1. - how could you say credit not received against above said policy?
                              Question no. 2. - if you not received the amount how could you renew the policy and sent document on my registered email id and contact address in hard copy?
                              Question no. 3. - what about after deactivation my policy?
                              Questin no. 4. - if we need my health policy, what about on that time?

                              Now i am very upset and feeling mentally harass by religare and till now i am not getting any kind of response from religare.

                              I don't know what will be after policy cancellation and not getting any help from any where so i am complain here and waiting here for positive response.

                              Still am not getting any response from Religare? It's very unprofessional behave, Raligare have just moto to increase revenue for company and do the fraud with existing client.

                              It's very bad behave.
                              I have received a message that amount of Rs 8220 has been debited from my credit card in Gugaon for Religare.I have not initiated this transaction nor have I authorized anyone to do this transaction.Request you to reverse this amount at the earliest & confirm.

                                I have taken religare health policy of sum assured of 10lakh two year before and i was paying premium continuously without fail.
                                This time my wife faced an emergency and we went to metro hospital noida for treatment.

                                I have advised by the doctor for admission as doctor suspect acute ge & dehydration. (Please find attached prescription)

                                She suggested some test for verifying and that report comes in 24 hours.

                                If the doctor suggests not to go home and anything can happen, in such condition what should we do?

                                We can not wait outside the hospital for the report which will come in next 24 hours.

                                I have taken this medical policy to secure me and my family and expecting support from religare in such condition.

                                First of all religare declined cashless claim as they were saying hospitalisation not required.

                                Then after following up with support team, they told me to submit claim reimbursement along with all documents which usually hospital doesn't provide at the time of discharge.
                                I visited to hospital again and request them to give me all treatment related documents and submit the claim.
                                But again the same reply came from religare.
                                When i asked them again they told me that we are having our own medical panel who is saying that hospitalisations was not required in my case.

                                I don't know what qualifications they have but i visited to a reputed hospital and consult with a doctor who is md along with years of experience and i should believe and follow her advice in such conditions.

                                I am raising request from this board that religare need to check my case again.

                                  I have been facing some issues regarding filing a claim for health insurance with religare health insurance.

                                  I had fallen ill and had to rush to emergency room last year. The student insurance which i had taken from the company said that it covered such a scenario. Before going to emergency room i had contacted the company to ask for cashless centres in raleigh, nc areas. I was given address of a local hospital where i went.

                                  The cashless was however denied and i was told that i would have to pay the money first and could claim for it later. Believing this i payed $6000 for emergency room visit and various tests to get a diagnosis for my illness.

                                  I filed for claim and they rejected it orthopaedic clause to reject the claim.

                                  If you know anyone who could suggest me, how to proceed now, it would be of great help. Any advice is welcome.

I tried to inquire about the legitimacy of the call but the rep on the call abused me in regional language stating that i am rana and i can do any thing. I am sending this email and within two days if i didnt get any reply from u i will be filing the fir against this no.

                                      As per complaint no. [protected] provided by you (Bearing irda token no.[protected] for processing of cashless facility al no. 80171369 of travel insurance policy no. 11907261.

                                      I would like to know below queries from you that as per your communicated on dated 03/05/2018 (In reference to my communication on dated april 27, 2018.), you are only reply us that “patient is a known case of hypertension and thalassemia prior inception of the policy. However, this medical condition was not disclosed at the time of applying for the policy with us”

                                      1. Hypertension is not the disease, it was the only symptoms due to chest congestion you can ask/verify from the doctor vishal sharma (Treating doctor) from where we have taken treatment (Document for the same already submitted). Even you can see the discharge advise no medication advice for bp. If he has disease if bp than why not doctor recommended the medication of hypertension.

                                      2. Where in our document it was mentioned the case of thalaseemia to patient was existing disease which i had not disclose

                                      I already explained you that during the admission of mr. Dev raj on 2017 at alchemist hospital he was suffering from high cough due to chest congestion which i mentioned during the purchase of policy.

                                      I want the voice recording during online purchase of policy, which you told that our voice is recorded in recording line. During purchase of policy and in the policy document you never asked to providing the discharge summary of inpatient record history of mr, dev raj or any client, where as when we are applying for new claim of insurance you are asking us for providing the discharge summary also you had forcing to submit more than 48 months older record of mr. Dev raj during verifying the cashless claim and your team member told it is required otherwise claim will rejected.

                                      Your behaviour during processing of claim is very impolite. I believe on the religare insurance co. That such a big company dealing appropriately, but now i feel you try to manipulate your rules that we are hiding the medical condition of patient at the time of applying for the policy. If such are the case than you are cheating the innocent people who are honest and providing the all information during purchase of policy. If any person suffering from breathing that

                                      “ ek aam admi doctor ko bolta hai ki dr, mujhe sans lene main problem hai, meri chest main kuch jama hua hai (Sputum) he did not know the medical terminology or during treatment doctor start checkup with heart beat, throat, blood pressure etc.

I told him to give me your senior no. to whom i interact and tell me about my complaint bt he is deneing to give their no.
