I took religare health insurance a couple of years ago, the premium was very high but the sum assured was 15 lac, there were tons of benefits associated with the health plan.
I just fell ill for the first time in 2 years, in fact, i am at the hospital right now, waiting to get discharged since morning. Religare has denied to pay the total bill of 55k, and has asked me to pay 25k from my pocket. My policy covered single room, bit i lived in triple sharing room for the past six days.
I feel cheated by the insurance provider, worse experience. I was diagnosed with dengue fever, and still have low platelet.
Lost at the hospital, this is what religare has done to me, poor customer support, they are askine to pay without justification.
Don't know why i trusted this cheap, low grade, insensitive insurance provider a couple of years ago.
