I had ordered an Iris Queen bed on 25th December, 2016 from the RoyalOak showroom (World Furniture) in Kadubeesanahalli, Bangalore and received it on 27th December, 2016. When the bed was assembled, I pointed out to the technician that the hydraulic top is not closing completely to which he replied saying that it should fix itself within the next 3 -4 days. I waited for more than a week and since the above issue was still persisting, I raised a complaint (No: 4343) to get this issue rectified.

The technicians visited on 7th January, 2017 and they drilled two holes to realign hydraulic system. However this did not fix the issue but worsened it and the hydraulic top is not closing at all now without keeping a mattress on top. This is potentially dangerous since I have a small kid at home who might get hurt due to this.

The technicians also admitted that they were not aware of the correct resolution but hoped that this might fix the problem. I fail to understand why they even visited my place if they didn't know the correct resolution. They later said that a different technician will visit to resolve it fully (potentially drilling more holes)

The technicians visited again on 8th January and mentioned that the same issue is present in all the IRIS beds. Why are such defective products being sold in the first place? Shouldn't they have been removed from the showrooms as soon as the defect was noticed?

This being my first purchase from RoyalOak, I am very disappointed with the after sales support. I am beginning to feel that I made a wrong decision to buy from RoyalOak. I will not suggest anyone from my friends/family to buy from RoyalOak again.

    Dear sir/madam,

    I am sorry to inform that two furnitures (1 tea table & 1 dining table) which i purchased on 7th and 9th feb 2016 from royal oak - hosur rd, roopena agrahara, bommanahalli, bengaluru, karnataka 560068. They got damaged as the wood in their legs got cracked after they were soaked in water for half an hour due to water clogging at my home.
    I had high regards for royal oak furniture and did not expect it to get damaged in just half an hour of soaking and am highly disappointed. I need it to be replaced within this week as i am leaving this weekend (14th jan).

    Please let me know the way forward asap.

      Let me start by telling Royal Oak offers the most pathetic service..I had ordered a furniture and it has been 13 days since I have not got my delivery and assembly done.Everytime we call the branch the response is far from being professional .There is no concept of escalation.It's better that we return the order and hope that they will refund the amount.To all the friends who are reading this I would say please refrain yourself from buying any product from Royal oak

        I purchased a royaloak amber computer table with honey brown finish - 1.2 m on 28th december 2016. At the time of payment they said it will be delivered within 48 hours. Since then they haven't called or contacted me. On calling the customer care they said they will not deliver the table, and now they are not responding about the refund.

        Bill number[protected] ..We purchased​ a bed, coffee table and single sofa from bannerhata branch on 30th March and we done full payment for that n thy promised​ the product will deliver on Saturday bt nobody called​ us about delivery n whenever we're​ calling they are disconnecting call... Highly disappointed with royal oak ...I thought it's a good brand..I should check public forum before purchasing.. Pathetic customer care service...

        Booked a recliner on 5th Oct made complete payment online, suppose to receive the product in 12 days, product never came called them more than 20 times no body answers in customer care and wen u get thru dey say the online team will call u back they never call back, so i call dem again again same story multiple calls to customer care no answer and after answering they forward my call to someone by name Anees their online dept manager who said dey dont know where the product is how wonderful of the manager to say dat, anyways he said he will refund d money by 7 days until now it has been 65 days dey have not refunded the money
        PLS DONT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY -IT IS A BIG BOGUS AND FRAUD COMPANY, 02 of their managers are useless one is Raphael and Anees both gave false promises of refunding until now no sign of my money, just waiting to be home after my trip to file a legal complaint through court for fraud and non refund of my payment .
        I have ordered wardrobe through RoyalOak. Order number is ROY0015726. Its been more than a month now and they have not delivered the product. Whats scary is that there customer care not reachable and they don't respond back to emails. I have spent endless time in phone waiting for there customer care to answer but never succeed. Wrote emails and they have not responded back. No word from them after I placed order. I am not sure If they are going to deliver my product. What more scary is that, I went to near by RoyalOak store and they said they are not responsible for online orders. Come on its same RoyalOak showroom and they are not responsible for online order? what a shame. They did not even respond to me when I said I ordered online.

        Never ever order anything from this company. They are big cheaters. They increase price 2 to 3 fold and sell with 50% discount. The quality of the product is not even close to acceptable level. I have ordered sofa set and a ward robe. I had to followup with them many times to get sofa set delivered. Still not able to get wardrobe delivered after a month. The quality of sofa set is not good. Looks and feels like if a person above 80 KG sits on it, it will break.

        They wont deserve a star
        I have ordered office chair, ( Order Ref numb: ROY0034868), till now delivery is not done. As per their message post payment, delivery will be done on 2-4 days. its been more than a week. When we had a chat with customer support they joined and left when query was asked. Calling to customer care is pathetic . mail sent, No response. Never expected that Royal Oak would be like this. should have visited this forum before itself, so that we never ever tried to place order in this company. Will inform to my surroundings as well, not to prefer royal oak. when we called to showroom, they mentioned online products doesn't supported by them.. No words to explain .

          After taking the full payment of the product they said they dont have the product currently and will come in 10 days. Post 10 days i called up to check if the product delivery status and they said they have already delivered it.

          I called up the customer care asking for the reason for such wrong statement and post escalating it to the store manger said that i can go anywhere and complaint and he doesnt care.

          Please be careful the next time you visit royaloak. The worst part the they take the full money before hand.

              I'm arun .. n dilip n ganga .. we were the employees of royal oak furniture company banaswadi. . We were working there ... for the pressure issues we need to resign .. while resigning the job they told us .. we will give u on the proper date... but it's hardly 2 months we resigned .. we did not get our salary ... they keeping on giving us reasons .. stating that we are checking with accounst department. ... n still we did not get our salary ... we are really having bad experience .. n we need to beg for our own money ... if this seriously continues .. we are gonna file a case n we will go to press .. we are telling upfront .. try to resolve this issue as much as possible

                Disgusting service provided by Royal oak furniture. We had ordered for a Sofa and Blossom Coffee table. on Sept 5th 2016. Not only their delivery was delayed, they have delivered faulty products ( showroom piece ) which was damanged and dented. On raising a complaint we were told that it would be polished and cleaned and given, when we stressed we want a replacement, finally the store manager agreed to replace the coffee table. But they had promised to do so in fortnight which wasnt even fulfilled even after 3 months!! After visiting the showroom 4-5 times finally they have delivered a product which is not in proper condition, the leveling is not right. The technicians who came to fix the product were very rude in their behaviour. They do not understand main landmarks when we tell the address to the house. Also when we called to the guy who was incharge of delivering the product he just shrugs of saying i am not the only person in this show room to look into issues, you can call the customer care and complaint. Disgusting behaviour from all the staff. First of all they do not have any courtesy to be polite and tell the exact date of delivery. They promise one date and dont even give an update, we will be wondering what happened to the product
                !! No phone calls or sms to update the status if the product would be delivered on time or if there is any issues in shippping. They are not even the courtesy to call us even after we went to the showroom multiple time asking for the update on the product. If we call them they dont answer calls, and neither do they respond to any complaint raised through their customer care for replacement category!! Over all very disgusting service. Will never buy anything from them for sure. And will not recommend to any one in future.

                  I bought this table and it was delivered to me in 1 month 20 days against 15 days the promised timeliness. And now after follow up got it fixed today. Horrible service and defective product. Ur manager says since it got delievered from Malaysia being defective is a possibility. And today being Sunday he cannot do anything and it will be only responded to on Monday and he also says my frustration can be written in the mail
                  Horrible would be a smaller word for these

                    We have already filed a complaint and went to your showroom at bannerghata road but still no response from your side. I have never seen such a poor customer service, faulty products you are selling and no response to customer complaints. Just degrading your brand.
                    This queen size bed was deliver on 26th oct 2016, and storage is touching floor, which should not be the case. Even sales person did not mention anything on this just said "all will be good once service people fix at your home". This is all good?? Also you are not ready to replace the bed. I want one immediate solution on it

                      We ordered a computer table and a chair from the Roopena Agrahara showroom on Sunday, and they promised delivery within 3 days. They have been calling me and my husband from different numbers randomly and telling different delivery timings. Yesterday, they said they were on the way From Devanahalli and till 10pm, neither did they call or reach our. Today morning, I got a call saying they will deliver it only tomorrow. I was adamant that they should deliver it latest by 9pm today and I got a call around 5pm to confirm the address, saying that they were coming for delivery right away. Till now (9:45pm), we have not received a call. Isn't this heights o[censored]n-professionalism? Are customers toys to play with? Truly and completely annoyed with the service and irritating calls to our phones during our office hours stating different things which are NEVER met!

                        We had purchased a geneva sofa cum bed this year on january 26th. And it's leg broke down, it's not even been a year! And your customer care service is so pathetic. The shop from where we purchased are not owning it up neither are the cc people. Been 4 days and still no one has shown up to repair. And we are paying for the repair. Never going to visit this pathetic store again. Such a bad experience. Train your people to attend to the needs of customers, not to giggle on phone when someone is talking or registering their complaints.

                          I am frustrated with customer care of Royal Oak.

                          Daily they are saying your product will be installed today for sure without failure.

                          But nothing after that, I am waiting for them at my home for 4 days continuously but they are so BS people they dont care about customer at all.. They cheated me even product doesnot look the same which I ordered.

                            Order placed on 18-oct-2016 and i was told order will be delivered within 10-12 days, but still as of 02-nov-2016, they dont have my order dispatched and are making false statements everytime i contact them. now their is a chance they can cheat on me as the website already mentioning that product has been delivered on 02-nov and assembled on 5-nov., that's illogical. they also refused to refund my prepaid money back. i hope, i will be given justice.

                              I have purchased the bed from royal oak marathali branch on 02/10/2016. while installation i have checked the product and it is having lots of holes, sketches and marks and when i asked the installer person please don't install the product but he denied for that. and i have complaint it to customer care of royal oak and they sent some person and tried for touchup but it was not gud enough again i had complaint and again they sent some worker again that person did same thing these things happen thrice but still nothing came up is good at-last i went to showroom with some of the sheet and showed them and they promised it they will changed it but almost 10 days are gone no one has came down and not even called to me regarding that i am totally fursted and as well as almost a month i am not able to use that bed. i fed up with this company and they are cheating to the customer so i wanted they should return my money i don't want any-other product or service from them.

                                We purchased 3+2 sidney sofa set in may sl no:[protected] in oct it got broken in middle wing 3 seated sofa. Raised a complain against it complain no: 22249 but they have fixed it with normal play wood which is not matching with sofa colour and wood looks poor quality and services was very unprofessional.

                                  Hi,

                                  We have purchased royaloak geneva queen size bed and side table on 2nd oct 2016, which was lately delivered on 16th oct 2016 (After visiting several times to royaloak showroom). The technician has installed the product on 17th of oct 2016. During installation of the product, the side table was found damaged and color mismatch. The technician took the photograph of damaged product and promised us to replace the same on 18th of oct.

                                  Again after discussion with manager (Vijay), he promised to get the side table replaced with the new one on 20th oct. We didn't receive the call on 20th from any technician. As the manager was not present, the executive confirmed the technician will come on 21st oct.

                                  The technician came on 23rd with spare part to replace, not the whole product. The spare part was also defective. The technician again told that it will take more days to fix the spare part.

                                  Everyday we are visiting the showroom and being provided with different different dates. Please take necessary action on this issue asap.

                                  On 23rd Manager has assured that the Technician will come to fix the issue on 24th Oct after 7:00PM, as we are working people and we would not be available before 7:00PM.
                                  Today(24th Oct), we got called from Technician at around 4:00PM, that he will fix the Side table before 5:00PM only, he would not be available after 7:00PM.

                                  Please take necessary action on this issue ASAP.

                                    I have placed an order in royaloak furniture on 6th oct and on 7th oct they have cancelled my order saying that the required furniture cannot be delivered to my area pin code and they have assured to give me refund within 2-5 business days. After multiple follow-ups, they have asked my account no to refund at the quickest. I have provided the a/c no to them and still on 20th oct, the refund is pending.

                                    Can you please help to chase the issue at the top priority so that i can get my money back asap.

                                    I bought the product from Royal Oak. Till now they didn't deliver the product. Whenever I called for status they will say that we Will call you back. But they will not call at all. Please take action like these types of stores. I paid full amount. They are not ready to give refund also.

                                      We have placed an order on Saturday 8th Oct in Royal Oak Banaswadi branch.
                                      They promised delivery will happen in another 5 days.
                                      And delivery is not happening and more over no body is responding to the calls.
                                      We went there and enquired and they told they will give us call on next day.
                                      We didn't get any calls and still we are waiting for the product.

                                      I have taken dining table in Royal oak in last year of Rs. 18000, the 4 chairs woods are really worst material, Now its rusted . Please replace the material .I taken in -105New Airport Road, Near sahakar nagar, Bangalore-560092, Contact number-[protected]

                                        We bought an emerald 6 seater dining set from the royal oak showroom on bannerghatta road on 3rd october 2016. Mr. Divakar, the showroom manager promised that out the 43 sets available, royal oak will send a qc tested set that is in excellent condition.

                                        The dining set was delivered on 5th and has a lot issues. We were told that the dining set will have oil polish, but the one we received had many places where there was no polish. The table and the chairs have a lot of black rough marks, the clamps are dirty and there are too many cracks. There have been many lousy efforts at filling the cracks and holes. The quality of wood is very different from what was displayed in the show room. We are very dissatisfied with the dining set and very upset with the whole experience. I sent about 20 images to mr. Divakar on whattsapp and sent an email to the customer care. The initial response i got from mr. Divakar is that this is "natural wood" and that we should just get used to it. The images attached here say an entirely different story. Mr. Divakar is not answering the phone anymore and the email response from "customer care" is that they will repair it! If there are 1 or 2 issues, we could have accepted for the repair or even overlooked them. But the chair and the table have big issues!! Looks like there are way too many complaints about royal oak that they are unable to keep up with taking care of the mess they have spread wide.
