I have bought a sigle bed from royal oak marathahalli branch. With in one week, the center plank broke completly. Then we realised that the quality of the material (Look like ordinary plywood) is very poor.

So i compined to their customer care and they said they wll fix it in next couple of days. It's been more than one month now nobody botherd to show up or respond back till today. I went to their shop multiple times and all they giving is false promises.

    We have purchased blossom sofa 3 seated and 2 seated on 28/01/2016 vide bill no.[protected] at bilekahalli, bannerghatta raoad branch. Now 2 seated sofa's leather is coming out. We had lodged a complaint to get it repaired. Service engineer visited our place on 22/07/2016 and took a photo of damaged sofa. Till date he has not turned up or sent anyone to get it repaired /replacement or not responding through the phone.
    Arrange to send someone to repair or replace the sofa immediately
    RoyalOak Furniture customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    I have taken furniture from Royal oak bannerghatta road.
    Almost more than 20 days got over but installation not completed till now.
    Tried reaching Customer case and showroom also but no use.
    This is very worst service and very very worst furniture brand.

    Guys never ever choose Royal Oak brand.

      Hi team,

      Complaining this after 2 weeks actually as was waiting for them to refund my money.
      I have selected a laptop stand on 13th august which was invoiced to me for inr 1235 (tin no. [protected])

      After the payment was done then they informed me that they have billed by mistake for some other product and i need to pay the delta amount of 665 again which i did not agreed and asked for a refund.

      The team informed that they cannot give me a cash refund and will refund in my account by tuesday 16th aug 2016. nothing have been done on it and i have been in constant touch of the contact given roopesh. the next deal line given by roopesh's manager was on or before today 24th august 2016 but till now no updates.

      Everytime i call then i get the answer they will get back to me and i have been spending my mobile bill to keep following up on this.

      I am suffering for no mistake of mine and an denied of my own money as your sales team defaulted.

      I am sick and tried of doing this constant followup without any results and am feeling to be cheated by your team.

      The lower part of a 3 seater sofa is broken. The guarantee warrantee all exists. I'll need a repair asap.

        I had brought an Aqua dining set whose invoice number is[protected] dated 6-Aug-2016 which was delivered on 8-Aug-2016.

        This dining table top which is made up of glass got exploded on 13-Aug-2016 midnight at 2:45 am just after 4 days of the purchase and there was no external factor because of which it got explode as nothing was kept on the table except one water bottle and a newspaper.

        we were so much scared after hearing the explosion as we all were in a deep sleep, this explosion has also caused lot of damages to our house walls. So we spent 4 hrs in cleaning the glass pieces which was shattered all over our house floor and soon in the morning i called to the customer support to inform about it they gave me an email id and asked me to send the videos and images which i had captured to that email id.

        After that somebody from their side called me and they were responding politely like we will send our technician to get the table and all but after a day when i called again as they had not sent anyone to collect the same then they started saying that it is not under warranty (common, no warranty for a product which is just 4 days old!) and there is no warranty for the glass as it is an imported item and now today that is on 16-Aug-2016 again when i called them they said that they cannot do anything i will have to bear the glass expense and only thing they can do is wave off the labor charges for fixing the glass.

        They are not even concerned about the damages it could have done to the people if it had exploded in the day time and not really ready to accept their fault in the glass manufactured.

        They are saying that it is not their responsibility, if dining table glass explodes(sometimes it explods due to defect in the manufacturing process which i got to know from the internet) as it is an imported item then i asked them then who is responsible or can be held accountable for this then they started saying like we cannot do anything if want it to be fixed then pay for the glass and we will waive off the fixing charges..! But i am not ready to take risks against the safety of my family members (we even have a 4 months child living in our house) so i just want to return the dining set and get the money refunded so that i can buy wooden dining set instead of glass.

        On 17-Aug-2016 same lady called me and said that her MD Mr. Madan had agreed to take the dining table set back and credit that amount back to me so that i can purchase wooden dining set from the royal oak itself. She also said that if i buy costlier dining set then i will have to pay the difference amount i.e if i buy dining table set of worth 25000 then i will have to pay around 7000 which is the difference amount of old dining set and new dining set. For this i said ok and told her that i will go to banaswadi branch itself and select the wooden dining table for that she said ok and told me that she will be sending technician person today only so that they can pack the left out dining table set which can be taken back at the same time when the wooden dining set is going to be delivered to my place to reduce the transportation cost, i said ok and i am fine with it and ended the call.

        But then after an hour or so she called me back again and said that i will have to pay 5000rs for the glass broken then they will take back the dining set. I asked her that u only said that entire amount will refunded to me to buy the other product from royal oak itself and now u r saying that i need to pay 5000 rs please share the contact details o[censored]r MD or manager so that i can talk to him directly for that she said i will only speak to him and get back to u. But she did not call back, so i only called to the number in evening but she did not pick once, again i called someone else picked and told that that is the max they can do and i will have to pay 5000 then only they can refund the entire amount!. I have sent many emails explaining the same to the following email id's but there is no response at all from their side. [protected]@royaloakindia.com,

        I would never recommend anyone to buy any furniture's from Royal Oak especially the glass items like dining tables, storage tables etc, if they are concerned about their family's safety. As they sell very cheap quality products for high price and the customer support/service is terrible.

        I am not sure if this complaint is going to be forwarded to the concerned person or any action will be taken against Royal Oak. I am even open for any legal opinions.

        Please let me know how to proceed on this..

        Thank you.. i have been sending many emails to them sir.. but they are not responding properly and forcing me to pay extra 5000 for the exchange... Hoping that this platform will take some action against ROYAL OAK furnitures..
        I have purchased few items from royaloak . the problem is like they are going to deliver and install at their feasible time . you pay them and weight for their time. other furniture stores will come at ur time. once the product is been sold no one will bother, customer care nor store, delivery person.

          Hi Everyone,

          Having moved into a new house for a couple of months, and having nothing but bean bags for guests to sit on. I thought it was high time to buy a sofa. I heard from my relative that RoyalOAK had a wide variety of furniture from low budget and to very posh. So I bought a sofa and a chest of Drawers on the 12th soley on the promise that they made of delivering it on the 14th. #WorstMistakeEver. I make a partial payment through my CC and the rest was processed through BAJAJ FINANCE on the very same day 12th August 2016. I called them on sunday around noon time to get an update as to the status of the delivery as i had invited guests for dinner and had high hopes of having the furniture delivered by then. I call them and here is where all the lies begin.
          1. I call them and ask them the status of the order, and they say that my Bajaj Loan has not been approved. When it was showing up on my Bajaj Finiance account in the few minutes that it took while i was in the showroom on the 12th
          2. The next day i decide to visit the store RoyalOAK (Banaswadi Bangalore branch) in hopes of speaking with the store manager on this and all i get is the cold shoulder. I ask for the store manager, though he walked past me several time, none of the store employees would point me to him. Absolute disregard for customers after they have their money.
          3. After making several phone calls with store manager and with the Bajaj Finance representative who processed the loan in a couple of minutes, was tossed back and forth between them stating you need to speak to the other guy. Absolutely pathetic.
          4. On the 17th August still no resolution despite several promises of callbacks (though none happened) no refund or word from them. I spoke to the Bajaj Finance Representative (shivappa), the same person who processed the Bajaj loan said that they had no issues cancelling the order which I requested after the horrible experience. The Finnace rep said that I need to get it cancelled from RoyalOak on this. I call RoyalOak and as for their manager (Gerald) who doesn’t answer his phone (possibly avoiding the call) told me that I need to contact customer care to get a confirmation. Now I call their(ROYAL OAK) customer care rep says I need to write an email to her manager but does not give the email or connect the call stating that the manager is in a meeting and hangs up the call abrupt because it is 6.30PM and its their time to logout. I am on the verge of filing a consumer fraud case on the basis of charging money and providing absolutely no service.
          THIS IS TO ALL PLEASE AVOID PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM ROYALOAK FURNITURE

            I purchased sofa for 72 thousand and believe me its not even worth a penny now.
            The leather started tearing out and it looks more of a ragzine rather than leather. When i bought this sofa i was told its some kind of leather but its not. Its just been a year and the fabric started to wear out as u can see in the pic. Tried calling customer care and i am unable to get through most of the numbers are not reachable.
            Please help restoring it asap.

              We need intevention of a consumer redressal agency / regulating body to keep a check on the mal practices of royaloak furniture (www.royaloakindia.com)

              Bought a wardrobe by making a 100% down payment. invoice number[protected]. they delivered the unassembled product in 2 days. thier assembly guys came on day 3 and while they were assembling, i noticed one of the planks were damaged (picture attached). i informed them immediately, took the picture and informed thier customer care to replace it since its a damaged piece of furniture which is sold in factory seconds. customer care reverted saying they can only do a repair under warranty. multiple phone calls, emails asking a simple question that why should a customer accept a second hand, damaged furniture for the full price paid in advance for a new??? was answered by brainless, shameless, uneducated women agents arrognatly saying we will only do a service
              Take it or get lost.. fill stop. as if they are doing a favour to me by repairing a peice of crap thier masters have purchased and delivered. thats the quality of character these agents bring at work.

              I agreed to let thier "technician" come and explain how is he going to fix the damage. the so called senior hero sharma (contact number [protected]) comes and starts chiselling the furniture instead of explaining how he is going to fix.. on being stopped, he agrees that the damage can not be patched completely and new like finish can not be achieved. however he insists that i should accept it since all royaloak customers are made to accept even bigger damages and its nothing in comparision.

              Finally this yet another loose character employee of royaloak agrees to arrange the replacement if i personally bribe him with a personal weekend work of polishing exisitng peices of furnitures for another few thousand rupees to be paid to him directly. the bugger took a u turn on replacement on being told that i can not accomdate his personal work this weekend since we are busy. clearly showing his ill intensions to make some money and get lost.

              I feel absolutely cheated, harrased by these low level employees of royal oak. nor have they been letting any responsible official come into picture who can possibly understand what is customer care, customer satisfaction, thier responsibility to deliver quality against the money they have recieved.

              While roayok is surely on its way to collapse with this sick arrogant mentality, i need intervention of a customer redressal body to fight my rights as a consumer... please advice.

                Purchased a book shelf on 17th July from Banaswadi showroom, which got delivered and fixed on 19th July. Since then it had issues, it was not being fixed properly. I had requested for replacement but company did not replaced. On 8th evening one door broken while opening the door and fell on the floor and got into pieces. Company still not ready to replace / money back rather asking money to fix the door.

                    I am fed up talking to the brainless, shameless, uneducated, liar, unreasonable, arrogant so called customer care agents at royaloak who can not answer a simple question that why should a customer accept a second hand, damaged furniture for the full price i advance for new? Nor do they put me across to any sensible person to talk to. They arrogantly keep saying we will only service. Take it or get lost full stop. As if they are doing a favour to me by repairing a peice of crap thier masters have purchased and delivered. Thats the quality of character these agents bring at work.
                    @consumer complaints, do you have further escalating points to royaloak managment..??

                      Seems royaloak is trying to compete in indian market with international standards, however they are challenged with globally famous "the chalta hai" attitude of customer facing employees right from so called technicians to service manager to customer care agents..

                      Attached in the picture of what they have delivered as a new product 3 days back. Damage was brought into the notice of technicians who tried to initally hide and on being specifically brought into notice, offered do a "touch up". Since its a damage touch up can only hide the in built flaws, i registered a customer complaint (Id 3584). As response to complaint customer care have been offering to settle with only doing a touch up / patch work. I ask them why should i settle for something thats usually sold as 'factory seconds' at much discounted prices when i have paid a full price???

                      I call upon royaloak management team to take the responsibility of damage and provide the replacement immediately as per global quality standards.

                      you want to send the technician to glue up / patch up the seconds material for which you have charged me the price of new???

                      have clearly told you this is not acceptable...please arrange to send fresh material instead of showing your "fooling the customers" attitude
                      BTW heres the mail sent to customer care immediately after the discussion with so called senior tehnician.

                      "One Mr. Sharma called just now and again tried to convince me to get it 'repaired' stating the company policy is not for replacing any goods.He has fianally promised to work internally on the replacement and reveret back.
                      I once again call upon Royaloak management to be involved in the matter, take responsiblity of the damage and
                      replace damaged piece like its done worldwide in case of damaged product deliveries."

                      on top of it if the respected agent writes by distoring the fact that i did not allow the technician to visit shows the low integrity levels of the organization.
                      Finally did royal oak resolved your concern or not? I am facing similar kind of issues with them.

                          My name is Nilip Dutta and I am writing this email regarding the delivery of the products which I have purchased last Sunday 31st July, 2016 from Royaloak, Bannerghatta Road.

                          While purchasing I have mentioned that the delivery should be after 6 PM IST and I have double confirmed that.
                          Today we have got a call from the Royaloak delivery team and they told that they are going to deliver those products tomorrow. And we asked them to come after 5:30 PM IST or else come today (3rd August) any time [as fortunately some will be available at home today all day]. We have received that call @ +[protected] and from +[protected]. They told they do not have any vehicles available today [which I can understand] but said it’s not possible to deliver tomorrow after 5:30 PM IST. Also they have told if we can arrange vehicle then they can deliver [that’s an unexpected ask].

                          Anyway, after that I have called the customer care @ [protected] but did not get any response but at the same time my wife also trying to call and luckily got the call connected. But they said, take a leave and be at home to receive the products. First of all is this the way to ask or is this something they can ask. And just to receive the product we need to take a leave [where we was informed that it can be done after 6 PM IST] and that too in one day notice. Is this logical ask? So if we keep purchasing things, all time I need to take a leave and be at home just for that. And that is because the Vendor cannot confirm their date and time of delivery. Also the customer care agent said to escalate if we want and given the email id.

                          And then after multiple try to call Royaloak, Banerghatta Road office [from where we have purchased] @[protected], I have got connected and after hearing the situation, without giving any solution and confirmed date they have suddenly disconnected the call and followed by that I have tried to reconnect for couple of times and I have got busy tone.
                          And When I got connected to customer care number then they said the concerned person/team went for lunch and call me back in 1 hour and its 2 hours since then and no update yet.

                          I am thinking about the service before the product got delivered, so wondering how it will be after delivery, during warranty period.

                            On last sunday i. E. 31st jul 2016 we have visited royal oak show room in bannergatta road and purchased furniture worth of 61, 132.00 it includes children bunker bed. It's told to us the delivery will be given with in minimum three days to maximum four days.

                            Yesterday i. E. On 2nd aug 2016 i have called royal oak call center to know the status, the lady who attended my call informed that she will call me back with in 10 min with latest status and she dint turned back.

                            Then i called the madam dhanu who is working as team lead in royal oak and she said that she will confirm next day morning.

                            Today morning when we called her she confirmed that the furniture will get delivered today 2nd half. Based on her confirmation me and my wife both have taken leave from office today.

                            After this we got the call from royal oak warehouse and the person from that side told us that the furniture will get delivered only tomorrow not today, reason being he received the bills today.

                            Because of the ignorance of bannergatta road branch or miss communication between branch and the warehouse we are loosing one day.

                            The customer service should get improved and customer should not affected because of internal issues.

                            Finally royal oak customer care manager Divija ensured to get the delivary and got it assembled on 3rd Aug 2016. Thanks for the support & service provided.

                            I feel that the complete incident is due to lack of company internal process knowledge and management should train every staff to avoid these kind of incidents for better service.

                            Seems Royaloak is trying to compete in Indian market with international standards, however they are challenged with globally famous "The chalta hai" attitude of customer facing employees right from so called technicians to service manager to customer care agents..
                            attached in the picture of what they have delivered as a new product and customer care + technicians have been offering to settle with doing a touch up / patch work . I ask them why should i settle for something thats usually sold as 'Factory Seconds' at much discounted prices when i have paid a full price????

                            I call upon Royaloak management team to take the responsibility of damage and provide the replacement immediately as per global quality standards.

                              We are purchased around 1.5 lacks items at banasavadi factory outlet shop bangalore, in that one cot is inside wood was damaged .. i lodge a complaint on 24th july till date no respose from the shop, really i am not happy who are working that shop they are not even responding properly

                                Recently, we purchased, recliners, dressing table and cofeetable from royal oak, silk board branch. the product was delivered and assembled promptly by their technicians. unfortunately, when their technicians, opened the dressing table box piece, one of the wood part got chipped out and it was already repaired with wood-filling paste of colour lighter than the actual wood. so, the damage was clearly visible. we immediately called the customer care and reported the issue and got complaint number (3455). we also took a photo of the damage and sent to their mail-id. no calls from them for almost 3 days. later, we called up and followed up. after 4 days, they sent their technician. he came and applied wood paste again, but this time with same color of the wood, took a photo and said, only this much can be done. this is really unacceptable. we called the customer care again, and they, told, only that much they can do and upon forcing, they accepted to recheck the issue again, after checking the modified photo. this is really unacceptable. how can they say "only this much they can do? are they offering the product for free? will they accept if we would have paid 1000 or 2000 rupees less? we need this to be fixed immediately. never expected such a bad service from reputed brand royal oak

                                  I had purchased a barcelona 5 seater sofa set from royal oak banaswadi surprised that its of very poor quality as all the sofas has started making squeaking sound when some one sits on the sofa and its been just one month after purchase, never expected that the quality would be this bad purchasing such a costly sofa set.

                                  I need my money back or get this replaced.

                                    I had purchased a Dining table from ROYAL OAK furniture on the ORR near Kadubeesanahali junction, Bangalore. The quality of the chairs are so poor that the It is not even one Month That I have purchased and the chairs are broken. I have been trying to figure out the Customer care number on which I could at least get my call picked but I have not been successful.

                                    Will anyone from Royal Oak furniture answer or respond on the repair procedure for the Poor quality material supplied.

                                    Though my closure of the complaint is very delayed, I would like to close this complaint. The complaint was resolved within 1 week of raising complaint in this forum. They had immediately sent a representative to my place to get my broken furniture fixed. They could have actually taken the same step when I had called them directly.

                                      I had ordered a table from Royal Oak (Marathalli Branch, beside Marathalli bridge). They said that it will be delivered by 14th of this month. This got delayed, without any information to us. On 19th of the month, I went to the store to ask for the status. they said that it will be delivered the next day. Next day I call them, They again say, that It will be delivered the next day. Yesterday, they dump the blocks at my home. Again no information. I call them and they say that the assembler will come the next day.

                                      Don't you have enough funds to even place phone calls?

                                      First, They never said that delivery and assemble will be on different days. On my repeated phone calls did I come to know about this (and not just in one phone call). The assembler person was supposed to come today. Again, no information from their side. The delivery was delayed by 6 days (without information). When will the assembler come?

                                      Also, Please pick up my phone calls. Yesterday, I called from my regular number. No one picked up. I changed the number, and they picked up.

                                      THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUD. THEY ARE NOT EVEN TELLING ME ABOUT THE REFUND PROCESS.

                                      I am ready to dump this at their store. They don't even have to come to my place. BUT, TELL ME THE REFUND PROCESS!!

                                        I have purchased a dinning table on 5th April 2016 and within 15 days the leg piece of the table is coming out and half its broken. When complaint, they are not replacing it and says it my fault . They are selling worst product and want us to pay for it. They said they will fix in 3 days and now its 2 weeks but still no fix and I am with the crapy product even after paying it full. They are openly looting common man
