For getting a learners license for my son, i had submitted all the necessary documents at the website https://parivahan.gov.in where our preference of rto office was asked. Unfortunately after the payment of fees of rs. 950/-, at the time of slot booking we were advised by the portal that online appointment is not possible. Hence, we both visited rto office raja garden on saturday, 2nd june for a learners license for my son. We reached at 8.30 am, and unfortunately there was no electricity & no generators were working. Around 100-150 people had left their works and were stranded in your office. When after lot of prayers & follow-ups electricity came at 10.30 am. My papers were checked and i was advised to go to a cabin, where an officer who was really rude to all asked me why i have come here. I humbly explained that it is for my son’s license who was with me. He said “ ye hamara case ni hei, ye janakpuri ka case hei” i mentioned that i applied as per your portal “ he said “ sunai ni deta aapko “ and asked his gate keeper” inhe bahar nikalo kamre se”.
Anyways, i met the rto raja garden head who explained that your money will be transferred to rto. Janakpuri and to approach the same.
We quickly reached rto janakpuri at 10.50 am where we were advised to go to room no. 4, which was vacant. We were told by someone to go to room no. 17. There we were told to meet mr. Negi, who i called and met, who helped and took out a slot appointment. We were taken to a room where mr. Maharaj singh, motor vehicle inspector scrutinized our papers, and very rudely mentioned that “ ye sab galat hei. Hum transfer kaise kar sakte aapka amount, rto raja garden ki parchi hei. Already 11 baj chuke hein”. I politely told “sir, we are here since 10.50 am but just no one is available “. He said” are you blind.. Can’t you see the address is wrong. He meant the address was not same as aadhar card. “. I said” sir, aadhar card adds post office on its own, and my address is right”. After his rough tone, when i humbly asked him for a solution, he said “re-apply again in janakpuri, with new amount or get your aaadhar card changed”. So finally, my son’s license could not be made.
RTO India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
