In India who-ever is the leader is also a leader in corruption and monopoly. SITI Cable is one such developing leader who pets its chain of operators without any control. You go to complaint on their site, It is restricted to 500 characters and the link never works so you can never submit any complaint. Does TRAI checks all these aspects of customer service? I doubt. Another Indian mark, I believe. I had a connection with Juhi Cable Centre, DD/112/1, Narayantala (East), Kolkata-70059, who took Rs1500 during installation and promised that at any time of handover of STB would refund Rs600. At the time of handover after 12 months, I was told that as the warranty on the STB is over I will only get Rs150 even when the STB is in new condition and working perfect. They were also not ready to issue a NOC so that I cannot take the STB even if the area I am shifting to is covered by SITI Cable. They adamantly declared that even if I take the STB it would not work as they would block it and render it useless. The Idea? They can sell it to another new client and bag the extra money. I doubt SITI cable is not involved or is not a part of this money making business too. Being in India, I do not even consider any move on this complaint by any body. When you are in India and dealing with Indian companies you have to come to some terms. Its a part of your life and gets into your life cycle. Good Job SITI Cable. You will be the highest earning operator and remain so & you deserve it. Keep it Up.

Correctly said, Juhi Cable Centre at Narayantala(EAST) is the worst local cable operator. The behaviour is very rude and the service is horrible.

    This is md asif iqbal, residing at 3/1 gora chand land kolkata 7000014 is very very upset by the rude behavior of the my cable operator shakeel along with the service they provide.already i paid advance the rent but they cut my connection and when i went 2 complaint against the they behave in a very rude manner. please its a humble request to u to do the needful.i hope u will take the action as soon as possible
    Siti Cable customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    Very poor service in patna kankarbagh cable operater are not receiving the phone from last two days i am trying to connect to them but no one is bother about that.

      Dear Concern,


      I am dissatisfied customer of your (SITI CABLE) residing at A-2 Sec-36 RHO-I, Greater Noida and paying 6 months rent in advance to your local team for two connections since last 5 years


      earlier residing at H-255 Beta -II and followed with A-11 Sec-36 RHO -I, Greater Noida


      I lodged a complaint of shifting on 31st March 2014 for shifting of my cable from A-11 to A-2 Sector -36


      Mr. Manoj Tripathi your so called service engg. came on 1st april at 6pm after continuous follow-up and said will connect the Cable as requested


      however he failed and said there is some issue with the line so will request his team for service and get it done tomorrow that is 2 April'14, still he took Rs.200 from us


      without giving any receipt of the same


      Later nest day we continuously followed up with Mr. Tripathy and he kept on saying he will come and he did again at 6 pm saying it will be done tomorrow the


      3rd April '14 as company is short of wire (Cable Wire) so he will get it done next day, yet another day passed and the same story repeats till 5 pm


      just the follow up, I called up customer Care and they do not know the status they just say what is being taught to them as complaint will closed within 24 hours


      I requested them to let me speak to the supervisor, which they didnt saying he is busy on another call, Later after so much of request they gave me the number for supervisor


      whose number was switched off, I called Mr. Tripathy and asked his reporting manager name and number which he gave me instantly followed with Mr. Algu Yadav;s Number


      who is the so called Technical Head for our region, whose number was continuously busy, but i got through after regular attempt, later when i escalated the matter and narrated


      whole story to him suggesting to connect my TV right away via temporary line till the service is done, he did for 1 TV and another was left unattended stating we have current issue (electric shock) while connecting the same


      Next day i arranged a visit for my LCD and got it checked, surprisingly no issue found, two days later on 5 April'14 Mr. tripathy came and connected the same with Cable


      However the Service was not yet done as requested also the cable connections from outside home rather spreading all the wire inside the house and creating a mess


      I called Mr. Yadav on 5 April'14 about the same, he assured me to get it done by 8 or 9 th April '14 as the Cable wire is still not there, On 6 th april my LCD showing "NO SIGNAL" i again arranged a visit from TV company and got it checked no issue found with TV, hence the SET TOP BOX found defective, i complained the same on 7 April to Mr. Tripathy he came again late and said it will be done tomorrow


      MY ISSUE IS STILL NOT SOLVED, EVEN THOUGH I AM PAYING 6 MONTHS RENT FOR TWO CONNECTIONS NO BODY IS EVEN BOTHERED TO LOOK INTO IT


      AND SO CALLED SERVICE IS STILL NOT DONE, WIRE IS SPREAD ALL ACROSS MY HOME AND OUTSIDE AND NEIBHOURS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME


      I CALLED MR. ALGU YADAV TODAY HE ADVISED ME TO REMIND HIM TOMORROW ABOUT THE SERVICE
      HE WAS VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMER
      WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY THERE IS A DELAY HE REPLIED DO WHATEVER AND GO WHERE EVER IT WILL TAKE TIME,


      PLEASE NOTE IT IS ALREADY 17 DAYS OLD COMPLAINT TODAY


      I WANT A STRICT ACTION AND APPOLOGY FROM MR. ALGU YADAV


      Please treat this as a final warning or else i will left with no other option to escalate it to SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE about the pathetic service of yours and i may have to go legal for my mental harassment i have undergone since last 12 days time


      Please give me urgent solution and compensation to my grievances

        I am a customer of south 24 pgs, mathurapur, pin-743354 west bengal . My cable oparetor is a k star cable . Since last 3 months from october i have told her to give broad band connection. She also commited to give the connection in between 7 days . Till now i havn't got the connection . I have repetedly request her to give the connection still i havn't got the facility . Her no is [protected] . Nowadays when i am calling to that no she doesnt pick the phone. Sir i am eager to use your braodband connection . But only for my cable oparetor i am not getting the facility.Now i am coplaning from a cyber cafe.

        So sir i humbly beg you i[censored] give some attention about this matter i will be very helpful.

          My kids are watching Disney junior channel no 458 from last two years in hindi language but since set top box are installed they are not enjoying it due to English language. My request to the operater is to kindly provided us hindi language so that my kids ca enjoy the channel.

            Mahalakshmi Satellite Network which is located in Sakthi Nagar,Arumbakkam is not providing proper television channels for the customers using SCV setup box. They are charging 170 INR for default plan. They said the customers can have 130+ channels default by paying 170 rupees. But it is not so. Every month they come for collection so punctually but they are not providing proper service to the customers. If anyone call and ask them regarding this the owner always keep on saying we will check we will check. But they are not doing it, they are practiced to eyewash the customer. For the past 15 days even if the customer calls to the owner he will not pick the call. Even if the customer calls him repeatedly no answer from their side. From the day one after the transformation from cable to setup box connection we are not getting proper channels. They are cheating the customers. Please do not get cable connection from Mahalakshmi Satellite Network. They are frauds and they know only to cheat the customers and they do not know to give proper connection. So people who are residing in Arumbakkam be aware of this satellite network. All are frauds only.

              Since 21st August, 2013 evening my Cable TV signal is stopped and I am not able to view any channel. I had requested the local Cable operator (Southend Cable Media Pvt. Ltd.) to look into this. However, 3 days have passed and still nothing has been done from the operators end. On enquiring in the Siti Customer Care, I was informed that my Cable Card has been deactivated. The local cable operator has stopped receiving my phone calls and I have facing great harassment with this issue. Contact Number of the local cable operator - [protected] (Mr. Chatterjee) Request Siti cable to address the issue at the earliest. Regards, Debjit Sen Gupta

                I am a Siti Cable consumer. My subscriber details are as under : Card No.[protected] SAF No. WW[protected]. I have already informed my Local Cable Operator on 01.08.2013 to activate the GRAND PACK worth Rs.230/- P.M. But suddenly, on 21/08/2013 many of the leading channels like ZEE BANGLA, 24-GHANTA, ABP ANANDA etc. are abolished from my TV Set and a message such as "120 : Not authorized to see the channel". In spite of giving my full consent about taking the said Plan, I did not see my favourite channels. I have already informed this incident to the Local Cable Operator repeatedly but they did not respond about my complaint. Even, today I called to your Customer Care Service Centre and they also advised me to contact the Local Cable Operator and also said that presently I was running under the 100/- Package and my Cable Operator did not furnish my customer details till date and from 23/08/2013 onwards I did not see any picture in my TV. Please do the needful and take stringent action against this fraud. If you do not take any suitable action I will compel to cut off my cable connection. (KAMAL KUMAR DAS)

                  Our cable operator didn't co-operate with the customers every person of our locality face same problem, he misbihave with customers & do not solve our problems & misguide also. few days back we found some sound problem in our set top box we log complaint about this on 10th August 2013 He take our set top box for repair but till date we have no receive any positive response against this matter & he misguide also. When we talk with customer care executive he said they didn't receive any complaint about our set top box & they said talk with your cable operator & cable operator said "ye to customer care wale he batayenge" & customer care executive said " Sir, hamare pass apke set top box ki na toh koyi complaint aayi or na hi koyi set top box receive hua hai hamare system mein koyi complaint show nahi ho rahi set top box aapke cable operator ke pass hi hoga". We are very disappointed please take needfull action for the same urgently.

                    All,

                    The SITI Cable services in KPHB Colony 3rd Phase are very bad.

                    I have paid them Rs.1200 for installing Set Top Box in the 1st week of April'13 upon the promise from that it will get installed in a weeks time after payment.

                    They have given me the Set Top Box to me in the 2nd of May'13 after making lot of calls or visit to their office.

                    Till now they didn't come to my home to install it. Its matter of 5 mins for them to do this task.

                    When I requested them to install the set top box, they are responding very arrogantly.

                    Please never take a Cable connection from Vistory Cable services in KPHB Colony.

                        I have purchased digital set up box from siti cable, when i was at bikramgarh(kolkata). ( my set up box card no [protected]-2). i shifted to (kamalgazi )one month ago. as i took new connection here . the guy who fitted me the new connection using the same set up box that i have to get NOC from old cable operator. due to this my set up box services has been stopped on 31 march 2013. in the mean time my new cable operator took installation charge of 500 and rental charge 200. when i report to my current cable operator , he said that you have to buy new set up box from us as this one does not belong to us. however after calling to siti cable care i came to know that i have to get one NOC from the old operator. i get my NOC and gave it to my cable operator . he said that he will give me new one as the shifting will take a lot of time. when i called him today he said he does not have any set up box. when i called the siti customer care they said that my cable operator have not submitted my NOC thats why my services has not been started. and i asked him ehat way he can help me in this regard. he said he cant help me i have to talk to my cable operator.
                        my question is why i am suffering. is siti cable taking advantage of their monopoly in this business.
                        i hope to get some solution

                            I had applied for 2 (Two) set top box on 25th January 2013 to VCN cables net work provider around 11 a.m (Situated at Linton Street ) Kolkata 700014.on deposit of the payment by cash RS 1600(800*2) i was being told that the set top box shall be provided on Wednesday i.e 30/01/2013 by evening .The concerned person whom i hjad handed the money was Mr Norton (mobile No ) [protected] no receipt was provided regarding the money paid .on Wednesday when i called up regarding the delivery and instillation of the set top box he told that the boxes have arrived but internal configuration is required and it will be delivered on Wednesday .On Wednesday again i called him and asked what the position is he told that the server is very low and the complete box shaal be ready on Thursday .on thursday when called the person informed that on friday the box shall be delivered at morning and need to saty at home for installation . On friday around 10.45 when gone to the office he was not present and another person who was present their told that our persons have taken the boxes and shall be installed within some hours. around 4.00 p.m again my wife approached to the person regarding the position of the set top box he told that the box is not ready yet and now it will be delivered on monday .after some discussion they had send a person with a (single piece) of box saying that to keep this and they will come later to insatll which my wife nd me did not agree abd refused to take .around 6.30my wife visited their place and directly discussed with mr norton regarding the status of the box he told that it will be installed on monday not before that .oat around 8.00 p.m i called on the siti cabel no [protected]a lady received the called and said we are following the matter .but no call was received .in this matter a mail had been also send from M/S [protected]@yahoo.co.in (Niraj Shah) no reply has been received till now .around 8.55 p.m i again had called at no [protected] a person mr Santosh assured that the boxes shall be delivered on monday morning . not satisfied with his verson i received a call from no 40025056 saying that we are looking into the matter and saying that their is our fault that why we did not take the delivery of one box sill they shall try to get delivered on monday morning .

                            My name is Mr sanjay shah ([protected]) and the documents subbmited are voter card by the name of Mr Hasmukh Shah & Niraj shah all residents of 59 A LInton Street Kolkata 14 YOur co operation in this matter shall be appreciated

                              I have bought my set top box from raju cable of alimuddin street kolkata-700016 on november 2012 which is a siti digital set top box but there has not been a day since that day when i get a clear picture the channels are always disurbed to such a extent that we cannot view the channels...plz hlp..the operator are saying they repaired but the problem is persistent

                                Hi,

                                I am a SITI cable subscriber and I have recently installed a set top box from them. But throughout the day a number of times the signal drops so much that the channels cannot be seen. And even if it is visible, the streaming is not proper.

                                I am quite disappointed with the service that they are providing. It seems that the analog signals were far better.

                                After forcing the subscribers to move to digital cable if this is the situation, its too disappointing.

                                I need to have a proper solution to this problem.

                                  cable is not working or it is going worse since 10 days.
                                  and when we complaint to siti cable office they give us the timing and never call again or talk related to the matter.
                                  when we say them they says that it will be fine soon and also they says that we would buy any other companies' setup box.

                                  and we want that you should an immediate action or return money back which we had given.
                                  or we'll complaint in the consumer court.

                                  set top box is not working properly as many channels are not working. and many a times whole set top box stops working or we can say it hangs in between , and we had purchased it two days ago only then only then also it shows faults in just two days.

Irrespective of frequent calls made by the users the service persons portray an absolute laid back attitude in everything.
