I AM A RESIDENT OF GHARAUNDA KARNAL-HARYANA.WE ARE FACING LOT OF PROBLEM IN CABLE SIGNAL FROM THE LAST ONE MONTH WHEN THEY HAD SHIFTED FROM FASTWAY.EVEN WE HAD FACED LOT OF PROBLEM ON INDEPENDENCE DAY.WHEN I TALKED TO CABLE OPERATOR, HE TALKED SO RUDELY WHICH IS BEYOND EXPLANATION.I AM SURPRISED HOW SUCH ILL MANNERED PERSON ARE TAKING SUCH RESPONSIBILITIES FROM SUCH RENOWNED COMPANIES.PLEASE SUGGEST ME THE APPRORIATE SOLUTION FOR SUCH A CABLE OPERATOR AND HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF SIGNALS.         10 days back they have kept a new setup box at my home, with in-proper installation.from day 1 iam not getting alternate channels, i keepon informed them about this, they told us to change the setupbox with new one, but Since last 3 days no update from them. they are not at all reacting untill or unless if we call them.and talking in a rude manner that, "if once again i cal them, they will cut off my phone". i asked them to remove there setup box and give my old box.so that i can take airtel or dish tv.they just think customers as slaves and behaving in a harsh manner. i request all the amberpet area people not to install these kind of poor service and dont get headace with them. better go with any package of dish tv or airtel digital.

            Dear Sir... i want to inform the siti cable call centre and cable operator in delhi so many time that i am not veiwing star sports channel they shown 120 error in it...i ask the operator but he couldn;t resolve my problem... almost 15 days i could not watch the sports channels...i had taken grand delhi pack but nothing to watch star sport 1, 2, 3 and fox channel star world, star movies, star movies action atc please sir do the need the action taken against that ...

            downloading speed is very slow

            dear siti broadband my username is" ajaya_lm " from --- ic block, salt lake, kolkata circle . i am extremely dissapointed about the downloading speed mine is only 6-12 kbps and my pack is Rs 420. make it at lease 80-100 kbps plzz .

                Hello Team, Am glad that our city got digitalized, but we are facing severe issue with channels quality. We hardly get any channel in our setup box. On keen observations, we found that channels quality is coming up good before 9am and after 11pm which is totally an odd time !! we tried calling our cable operator, but he never turns up. We tried, tried and tried and now am sick of it, and planning to shift my connect over SUN Direct of Airtel DTH. If you can resolve this issue by EOW (end of the week atleast ) would be much appreciative. Area : SCB nagar, New Hafeezpet, Miyapru, 500049, Hyderabad.                   This is very frustrating that SITI is providing very poor service quality and connection speed. Whereas other ISP in Kolkata giving 512kbps @ Rs. 400 they are giving the same @ Rs. 800. i.e. Double the rate. Moreover SITI doesn't following TRAI rules, which says any ISP should give minimum speed of 512kbps. This is the high time that we, normal people should complain to TRAI about this ISP also for the LCO who doesn't bringing any other ISP to their area.

                  Thanks for quick response. I did a mail to TRAI for the same keeping all SITI people in BCC. Lets see whether TRAI take any actions on this broadband operator.

                      I am a resident of secunderabad, telangana state, Siti cable disabled the english transmission of Discovery channel instead they are forcing us to watch this channel in Hindi. Causing so much discomfort and taking away our choice of watching in english, please revert back to english or have multiple languages option.

                        I am a resident of Bhamashah Nagar, Hisar (Haryana), Pin 125001. This is not compulsory by authority yet in our city to get set top boxes to continue with cable connection. But it has been made compulsory by our local siti cable operator in our area. In order to force people to purchase set top boxes from them, they stopped playing all channels which people usually see like star plus, zee TV, colours etc. So, to see all these channels, people in our area have no other option instead of purchasing set top boxes at a price of Rs. 1200 which is again higher than that of other cities in India where set top boxes have been made compulsory by authority. After installing set top box, there is always a problem of no signal any time while we are watching our favourite programme. I want a strict action against our local siti cable operator. I want that people of our area should be returned back their Rs. 1200 and have freedom to continue with cable connection without set top boxes till it is made compulsory by authority in our city.                           As per as TRAI concerns, the minimum bandwidth is to be served has been fixed to 512 kbps. All the other ISP's has fixed with this rules excluding SITI broadband. I am from Ranaghat, Nadia district, our LCO doesn't provide the updated plan whereas users from Kolkata get that same updated plans in their planbook. I am requesting to update the plans for the sake o[censored]s.

                              Hello, I am from Amritsar. and the siti cable card no. is [protected]. i am from Amritsar but this card no is from Chandigarh; which is not working from 21-july-2014. i tried to contact many time to our cable operator (Diamond cable networks, amritsar); and didn't even response. den today i contact the customer care, they said the card is deactivated. they gave me number of some operator; who is chandigarh based as per my card no located. so i get know that the set-up box is from chandigarh. and the person said if it get activated after some tym same problem can be occur again and like now, long time duration procedure will be happened. our cable operator say that cut ur cable network. I said WHY SO?? why we can't watch cable if we pay the money in one month advance. My question is: Is their any head office where one can complaint this kind of exploitation of customers and non- seriousness of their own work???

                                Hello I am using Rs 260 /- Siti Cable package and am resident at Salt Lake Kolkata - 700091 Ever since we have taken cable connection channels like Nat Geo Wild /Discovery kids etc is airing in Hindi - even after I change language option to English. And today even National Geographic has turned to Hindi! I can't understand Hindi very well and want the language to be English. I highlighted the concern to my cable operator and he tried to get some help from Siti customer care but to no avail Please look into this matter urgently as even after paying for package we are deprived of what has been promised to us

                                  I am here to express my dissatisfaction towards SITI Cable, you usually says "we are always happy to hear and help" but i had very bad experience with Siti Cable. Really don't know how you can give your name to such Cable Operators who don't listen as well as don't care about Customers. Till today, it is 8th day in a row, when i am not able to see my cable TV. I have contacted no. of times and following up the same. But No results, since they don't care. I am feeling stuck because I already paid the annual fees of the Cable TV. Cable operator is not answering my call and when I went to his office address then he asked me that problem will get resolved in half an hour, but as usual...:( ...When I called again, they haven't put up my phone. Ketan Cable in Greater Noida providing services at my society "AWHO", I am not able to understand where i have to complaint and where I can reach for the same. I am getting such responses from Cable Operators " Sham tak nahi hoga, Kar lo jo karna hai / Hatana hai connection hata lo, i don't care " ... these proverbs i am getting while following up for my own money. In addition to this, same situation has happened many times with me, 2-3 months back I had the same issue. Kindly let me know what should i do since i am helpless... I have already raised complaint for the same and below is the detail - Complaint No. - 833224 (this complaint no. Has STB no.)                                       Hi, I have a cable connection from siti cable through their local cable operator and paying advance payment to them. But now they are not providing services from last 15 days and have deactivated CARD. Cable operator is not answering my call and when I went to his office address then he asked me that problem is from company side. When I am calling siti cable customer care they are saying talk to cable operator and payment is not done from cable operator to them. Please take any strong action against these cable providers and their local operators.                                         In India who-ever is the leader is also a leader in corruption and monopoly. SITI Cable is one such developing leader who pets its chain of operators without any control. You go to complaint on their site, It is restricted to 500 characters and the link never works so you can never submit any complaint. Does TRAI checks all these aspects of customer service? I doubt. Another Indian mark, I believe. I had a connection with Juhi Cable Centre, DD/112/1, Narayantala (East), Kolkata-70059, who took Rs1500 during installation and promised that at any time of handover of STB would refund Rs600. At the time of handover after 12 months, I was told that as the warranty on the STB is over I will only get Rs150 even when the STB is in new condition and working perfect. They were also not ready to issue a NOC so that I cannot take the STB even if the area I am shifting to is covered by SITI Cable. They adamantly declared that even if I take the STB it would not work as they would block it and render it useless. The Idea? They can sell it to another new client and bag the extra money. I doubt SITI cable is not involved or is not a part of this money making business too. Being in India, I do not even consider any move on this complaint by any body. When you are in India and dealing with Indian companies you have to come to some terms. Its a part of your life and gets into your life cycle. Good Job SITI Cable. You will be the highest earning operator and remain so & you deserve it. Keep it Up.

                                        Correctly said, Juhi Cable Centre at Narayantala(EAST) is the worst local cable operator. The behaviour is very rude and the service is horrible.
