Dear Madam/ Sir
I took a flight from New Delhi to Paris CDG on Dec 21, with a layover at Colombo airport.
I have attached my ticket for your reference.
My flight was delayed by 6 hours.
I had to stay at CMB airport for 6 hours without food, without water, and without a place to rest for an entire night (from 22h25 to 6 am). I checked every lounge at the airport and nobody would accept my bank card.
No food was provided, nor water. These were inhumane conditions that you left us stranded in. Not to mention that I had an important meeting in Paris that I missed.

I wish to file a complaint against this delay of 6 hours and apply for a refund for my flight.

I had to return from Paris without getting my work done and I will have to fly back to Paris to do it. This has constituted an enormous financial burden on me, all because one flight got delayed by such a long duration.

    Regarding I have booked the ticket from Thailand to Delhi on 18th Dec 2021, but the reservation from Srilanka airline informed me that there is a travel bubble agreement between the country Srilanka and India Srilanka airline does not allow the traveller to transit to India until 30 Nov 2021. I have confirmed with the Indian ministry and Indian embassy in Thailand that it's not their duty, as they already grant the visa to the traveller to travel to India. It is the airline's decision if the airline will let the traveller transit to India or not. And I am rechecked with them all travelers can transit to Srilanka normally.

    Please let me know in this case why the airline did not update with Indian government? Please secure my ticket in this case because in the first beginning no any information from the airline that they have the bubble agreement between Indian-Srilanka-India. After I booked the ticket the staffs of the airline could inform and said that there is the travel bubble with the airline and India government that unacceptable.

    I have the big issue now if in case I can not get the information soon, then my trip will need to get cancelled as well and also I can not plan anything regarding the confusion service by the airline. In case the airline not ensure why allow me to book the ticket in the first beginning? In this case I need to throw my ticket away if I can not travel as per plan on 18 Dec 2021. Is it possible I can change ticket date to travel to Delhi in next year?

    Last 3 days ago, my friend could travel from India by Srilanka airline to Thailand no any issue at all. So please get the right information and inform the traveller accordingly.

      I reached in Hamad International Airport on[protected]for taking the sri lanakan airline flight and was in counter 9. We were told to fall in line till 7.15pm and the counters was open at 7.15pm. Later when my turn came at 7.40pm due to heavy crowd. My baggage was little heavier than usual amount therefore i removed excess weight accordingly within 10 minutes and came to the counter again for boarding but the staff from QAS regret and he closed the counter, they didn't allow me to pass my boarding and i lost my flight more than that there was another passanger who was waiting the before than me. Totaly 3 passengers lost our flight due to this misbehavior of the QAS staff more over the the supervisor who was there to irresponsible to give a proper excuss and he ran away without facing us and advising us. All the staff who were in the bording was rude to the passengers yesterday. This my 50th flight and it was my worst experience with QAS staff. The flight number was UL 218 which was at 8.55pm ( sri lankan airlines )

        My name is Rafiullah Taniwal. I purchased a ticket with Sri Lankan airline through MyTrip online on the[protected].
        The flight was from Dubai to Melbourne on the[protected]. The flight was canceled by the airline due to COVID restrictions. However I was never notified that the flight was canceled, as I found out by calling Sri Lankan Airlines on the day of departure.
        I have been calling and emailing all departments of Sri Lankan airline for the past 11 months, but I have been responded to with the same irritating response everytime.
        I have taken legal actions in Melbourne and Dubai, and I have also contacted Australian media fraud investigation programs which will ruin Sri Lankan airline reputation.
        Now Melbourne office replied that my refund will be issued after October 2022. That is more than 2 year. Fraud!!!

            Refund not received since 1.5 Year

            It was been 1.5 years since the travel was cancelled by the airline due to COVID 19 travel restriction.

            However till date, no refund is received despite several instances indicating that refund will be made in 5-10 working days. This is very disappointing.

            Our family travelled from Columbo to Melbourne on flight UL604 on 13th Jul 2021. Our journey was ok as we had to travel from Bangalore to Chennai and then Chennai to Columbo and were placed in transit location for few hours before our flight to Melbourne. It was all good and once we got on the plane were told we could use the back portion of the plane as the flight was mostly empty or limited number of passengers (25) allowed due to Australian limit on number of people allowed to Australia. We were allocated seats on 57; however, we sat on middle part of 56 as we (me, my wife and our 1 year infant) can sit together.

            Once we got to Melbourne International Airport, all passengers were ready to disembark the flight; however due to some requirement we were not allowed for while. Our family was also ready to disembark and had taken all items to do so. However, given the delay, we sat briefly on seat 55 which is when I have left my wife's iPhone (Description of the phone - iPhone 7 with Brown colour flip open case and contained Australian Medicare Card, Australian Myki Card & Indian Driving License) on the seats while trying to manage our little son as my wife had to use the toilet. While my wife was still in toilet the flight passengers were allowed to disembark. Once my wife was back we all disembarked the flight and unfortunately at this stage I have misplaced my wife's phone on seat 55.

            After arriving at hotel quarantine in Melbourne at 1 am, I had realised that I had left my wife's phone in the flight and called SriLankan Airlines in Melbourne next day morning to check the on the item. I was advised by the customer service representative to send an email to [protected]@srilankanau.com.au. I sent an email as advised with description of the item lost which was then onward internally few times and after multiple follow up, I was advised they had conducted extensive search and unfortunately had reached dead end.

            I appreciate the effort put in; however, it is disappointing as I had left the item on seat 55. We have very fond memories (videos/photos) of our little son (1 year old) in the phone and it is unfortunate that I have misplaced it on our flight to Melbourne.

            It would be really appreciated if there a thorough check conducted on the plane and also if anyone who cleaned the flight had come across it.

            Can you please help me get the phone back?

              I have booked tickets to Maldives between April 19, 2021 to April 23, 2021 and we received a mail from bravofly (site which we used to book the ticket) on Feb, 2021 that the flight has been cancelled. After cancellation we are still waiting for the refund. We contacted bravofly several times and they informed us once srilankan airlines process the refund we will do the refund. I have been mailing to [protected]@srilankan.com, [protected]@srilankan.com for the refund status and there was no proper response on the refund status and it's been 4 months now...please refund my money as soon as possible...please contact me for more information like ticket details and all...

                Good Morning,
                I'm Henry Paul from India and a frequent flier with Srilankan Airlines and was flying from Coimbatore to Doha and back via Colombo until Covid break out in March 2020.
                Flight tickets were purchased from your office at Coimbatore. During Dec 2019 I had purchased a bulk ticket until October 2020 and the total amount was transferred as one payment.

                After flight cancellation from March 2020, the staffs working in the ticketing and reservation dept said the ticket fare will be refund and since then I am trying to contact them by phone and through e-mail, but to date I don't have a proper response and I hear is they are still processing.

                I'm not sure what processing is and why it take over an year. Please follow up and see what is causing the delay.

                        I travel sri lankan airlines from riyadh to trichy via columbo, incident happen in columbo airport 21st july 2019, i had complaint to srilankan airlines customer care but i didn't get any proper answer & compensation

                        I am rajaprabha thinakaran, my pnr number sxcwdb, i have booked the ticket riyadh to trichurapallytrz via colombo at 21st july ul266 & ul131, this is confirmed ticket also,
                        Case happened to me 22nd july in colombo was totally unacceptable, when i reached colombo srilankan airlines staff asked to stand separate who's are going trz ul131, so i am stand separate with other's, then srilankan airlines staffs collected from us the boarding pass which was issued to us in riyadh and given to us another boarding pass the flight was ul133, while that time staff said flight was technical issue so can't board, but later i came to know that due to over booked the ticket airlines was cancelled my tickets by themself,
                        We stand on there with another boarding pass ul131, then i move from there to see the ul131, there is ongoing final call after we reached 20 mints, so then i asked airlines staff put me in the ul131, i have a health issues that's why i going to india, please help me on this, but staff said not possible and we will call doctors for you, but until i was in the airport doctors didn't came to see me or airlines staff didn't take me to hospital or doctors,

                        This is how you are treating the passengers,

                        Here i am asking you that how airlines can cancelled my tickets without any prior information as per international civil aviation rules,
                        And then waiting time was almost 7 and half hours and didn't provided the proper service

                        As per international civil aviation rules there is delay due to airlines service then airlines must pay compensation to the passengers due to involuntarily pushing the passenger to another flight, if voluntarily passengers agreed to shift the flight then there is no issue, but srilankan airlines forced the passengers to shift to another flights without prior information, due to delay of flight i paid to taxi in india double the cost i booked and i faced severe vomit in srilankan, not given lunch,

                        So here i am asking to you that airlines must need to pay compensation for delay as per international civil aviation law,

                          I and my wife recently traveled to tokyo, japan from bangalore, india through srilankan airlines, as the connecting flight from colombo to tokyo was more than 20+ hours i requested to book the hotel accommodation with them airlines initially confirmed the booking through email but when i reached colombo airlines staff said it was only confirmed for my wife, even after showing the email confirmation, they never allowed me to stay and none of the srilankan airlines staff members were available to sort out my issue please understand this was in the late evening of nov 17th at 23:00, it really caused me a lot of trouble especially when i am traveling with the family at midnight wherein i had no internet and local currency available. None of their staff members or local people helped me at that time, they asked me to travel here and there in the midnight but still, the issue was not sorted out this is a big mistake and i regret using their service terribly. To stay with my wife they asked me to pay another $87 plus tax for four hours as i have already planned the day out to travel locally. Hence, i canceled their hotel booking and took high risk in booking alternate hotel rooms for my family and also local travel wasn't available as it was a presidential election so i had to bribe the taxi driver to allow me to travel to the designated place. Very unprofessional people and poor quality of management. I am attaching you the email confirmation screenshot in this for your reference.

                            Boarding pass denied, even my family having a valid visa (2 months extended), tokyo immigration has provided the seal.
                            Due to lack of japanese visa awareness by airline counter staff simply they denied boarding pass in chennai airport without checking their counter part at tokyo/ proper immigration team. Staff told they need english supporting documents. Even after we provided they are not ready reschedule my family tickets.
                            My family suffered lot due to staff mistake, she has carried small kid and huge luggage to and fro from their home (~500km).
                            Airlines not taking any action on it.
                            So raising here the issue, i hope from here this could solved at least.

                              Was scheduled for taking nrt cmb blr flight on 28-oct-19 at 11.20am booked via makemytrip and just came to know at the airport there is no such flight today its on 29-oct, then how come srilankan airlines had issued a e-ticket for 28th oct.. And why was i not informed well in advance if theres a reschedule with a new e-ticket???. I have an infant travelling with me and my wife and all our hotel, rail pass, wifi etc were only upto 28th... Both mmt and srilankan airlines is very casually saying they cant help and we can take 29th oct flight... Who will bear the extra expenses of extra day at hotel??? Or do they expect us to stay 24hrs more at airport with a baby???

                              And srilankan airlines or mmt is not even confirming reissue of ticket with change date of 29-oct???

                              And if i still want to return today itself as my original plan it will cost me more than one lakh to book new flight, who will bear that cost??? And srilankan airlubes could have just rerouted me on another flight today in thier partner or codeshare airlines but they are not even suggesting options, we are the ones coming up with ideas but the srilanksn airlines are clueless and not at all helping resolve this issue

                              Mmt & sri lankan airlines needs to refund in full for thier mistake of not informing pasenger as its thier duty as agents thats why we choose travel agents in the first place to make it easy for passengers but instead the airlines and travel agents is the one causing us financial and emotional hassles...

                                I Vinod kumar Dimri trvel by srilanka airline no.Ul 195 on 10 oct.2019. From Singapore to delhi. I give three baggage in check in. I told the staff that un one sutcase have toys.and one trooly pl.take care about it .They put fragile slip on one my sutcase and on trolly.They asked me to sign in slip.I sign it without any orgument they not told me at that time it is not airline responsibalty to take care of my items.when I recived trolly in delhi airport it was dammage. Iimmidiate report to ground staff.but their behavior not coprative They simply take photo of my trooly and asked me you have given signatures therefore we can not do anything. I told them atleast give me in writing that we handed you dammage trolly but they are fighting with me. Now I want atleast airline appolise for there behavior take care in future so no body harrassment as I. Thanking you.

                                  I purchased two tickets from sri lankan on july 12. On the same day, i called customer service to cancel the tickets, and i was informed on this call that i should do the online cancellation, at a cancellation fee o[censored]s20 per ticket. I provided sri lankan the protocol number for the call where i was informed the wrong amount, which they did not check. I applied for the refund, as recommended, and received an email saying the refundable amount would be informed to me in two business days. I never received the email informing me of the refundable amount. I have received the refund in my credit card, and was surprised to see a cancellation fee in excess o[censored]s240, which was both higher than the amount i was informed on the phone and unexpected, as i was never informed the amount i was going to be refunded.

                                    To whom it may concern my baggage was mishandled for 2 days. After receiving luggage which was delivered to my apartment at the colombo loft i notice that coffee was spilt all through my bag staining my clothes. I have pictures which i will send to you i believe i am entitled for compensation because my bag was misplaced for 2 days and my clothes were ruined because of my sealed coffee was opened at customs. The lady at the desk in the baggage centre told me i had to give her my keys to my luggage so therefore it’s obvious that customs failed to put lid on coffee properly resulting in coffee spilling everywhere in my luggage please get back to me as soon as possible on this matter

                                      I don't think any one educated people siting on srilanka airlines has real degree
                                      Does they have any thing else work other than satisfying their ego which is of no use
                                      So many times complain is longed still no action
                                      Bloody just shut your beggar airlines if can't afford. I say not only airlines but country is also beggar.
                                      On immigration on colombo they reacted in way like don't know which country useless is talking about america or france... People of srilanka don't forget your country is taken by china ok
                                      So tired of the fake numbers given by airlines authorities then i have to search onlines of other mailids of customer complaints
                                      Now that bloody useless person is also not responding
                                      I tell you beggar country as well as uneducated staff of international airlines (Funny)
