State Bank of India [SBI] customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Later on I again asked her to go there (as other banks-not SBI, had accepted& cleared as well, the similar cheques in Mumbai branches which were deposited by my relatives) and complaint to manager who directed her to go to the counter, where the employee had gone for lunch and again she had to wait for half an hour!!!. She was informed that it would take 15 days to clear the cheques while other banks from Mumbai same cheque were cleared in 12-13 days!!!
Such is state of affairs at SBI branch...and I am only 2 days old account holder in the bank and getting such response and level of customer service..
As per new PM, Mr Modi, govt servants will be more accountable hence after in his tenure which needs to be highlighted to the media...
