Sub: Grievance for replacing the old ATM card with a new one with international debit card facilities.

I am a bonafide customer of your esteemed Bank with two separate Savings Accounts one, with Garden Reach Branch Kolkata and the other with Kalibabu Bazar Branch, Howrah (details given below). I have several termed deposit and recurring deposits accounts in these two branches.

I am using an ATM card of Garden Reach Branch since 2003. The card is now in a depreciated start due to extensive use through all these years. It needs immediate replacement. Another reason for changing the card is that it is very old one and cannot be used for Internet payment purposes as it has no CVV Number and is not an international debit card.

Recently I request my branch manager to change the card and issue a new one. I was told that I have to apply stating that the card has become damaged and deposit Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred) for issuance of a new card.

Now my point is why should I write so and pay for a new card when the card has become old and should be replaced by the bank with a new type with inter international debit card facilities (microchips inserted). Should it not be the policy of the bank to change the ATM card which is a perishable item and requiring change within a stipulated period? I may point out here that this type of cards have been replaced to some of your other customers free of charge.

In these circumstances I have to request you to change both my ATM/Debit Card free of any payment.

    I want to kindly inform you that due to late delivery of my sbi atm card i had blocked my new atm card but now i have got the new card. Therefore i would like to request you to kindly unblock my atm card. I had gone to my sbi home branch also and given a application regarding unblock the atm card but they have still not processed the application. Due to urgency i am unable to process any transactions from atm.

      This has reference to my NRE Account opened. My account details are given below:

      During my application submission and request for NRE Opening i have opted for Debit Card, Internet Banking facility, Cheques, etc., I have also received email from your side (cbs.[protected]@statebank.com) stating my Debit Card is issued and nominee is added. When i inquired here in Muscat Oman, they have informed me saying since my communication address is Chennai and all your details will go the address provided in Chennai.

      Till now i have not received any details except the appointment confirmation for Nominee (my wife). Having waited today i have sent my wife to TONDIARPET Branch which is home branch for NRE account today.

      Its been so irritating that the people sitting there in that branch are providing new information.

      1. First they asked me to write email to their branch for providing the details to my wife. This is first information told by them for providing the details. For your kind information i have already nominated her for my entire account however i wrote an email to the address provided by sbi.[protected]@sbi.co.in.

      2. Secondly when she again went for the branch they are providing one surprising information that i have to apply for the debit card. I don't understand then what is the meaning for me applying and writing all the details in the application form and for confirming the same you have sent me an email

      3. Thirdly they are asking to transfer some amount to my NRE account for proving the cheques.

      I was surprised and shocked to hear all those above. As a bank you are promising something when opening an account and suddenly your informing something when we come for any services. Even for opening the account i have paid OMR 5 here in Muscat Oman.

      See SBI is creating more facilities for people however it has been spoiled by the employees like the one sitting in the Branches.

      After all these things they have asked my wife to go another branch Royapuram where i have opened some savings account long back which is not at all operating saying that your account has been linked to that.

      When she goes there that person asking the account holder to come in person to collect the same. I was very irritated and disturbed by this SBI. One of the worst Bank i have ever dealt with.

      Even the Customer Complaint cell simply closing my complaints without even referring us or closing our issues really. Even the higher officials are not responding for our emails or calls whose number and email ids has been provided in the SBI website for complaints.

      Seriously why Government is not taking any actions by these worst pple and also not changing any good youngsters in their place. Seriously i dunno what to do now except to go with the private banks.

        Hi,

        My name is manish uniyal and i have been charged incorrect by sbi. They are not ready to refund me the credit card charge and are also adding financial charges each month.

        I have raised a complaint about a cc charge with was charged to me in the month of march. This transaction was declined when done because of not confirming the otp within timelines.

        However charge was never confirmed by the vendor (Go ibibo in this case) but the bank charged me.

        I have been charged 16, 868 inr incorrectly and it is getting more and more each month even though i have raised a refund dispute.

        I have many transaction ids with me for your reference.

          I receive 2 SMS from DZ-SCISMS that my SBI Debit Card ending with xx0308 and xx2370 is deactivated for Ecom transaction, please activate it.

          tate Bank of India has launched a facility under “SBI Quick: SMS and Missed Call banking” service whereby the customer can choose to activate/deactivate usage of the debit card on the following locations/platforms: ATM, Point of Sale (POS), E-commerce websites, International Usage, Domestic Usage. This can be done by just sending an SMS.

          Customer has to SMS ‘SWON/SWOFF ATM/POS/ECOM/INTL/DOM XXXX’ to [protected], (XXXX represents last 4 digit of the card number). The desired service will be immediately activated/de-activated. For e.g., if 1234 are the last digits of the card, SWON POS 1234 will activate POS usage and SWOFF INTL 1234 will deactivate International usage.
          Dear Sir,

          I m receiving a message from DM-ATMSBI that my txn at POP is declined as the account is inoperative or locked.but i contact with SBI branch regarding ECOM service and i got the activation message for ECOM service but still online payment is not working in my debit card.

            There has been unidentified card transaction on my mother's credit card for rs. 8459/- from shopmantraa.com as on[protected]. The card was immediately blocked but on speaking the customer care executives ravi and amankumar about the stop payment it was informed that they could not see any such transaction.               I have get a call from customer care regarding the credit card. They cross check everything and after that they collecting the all required documents to Representative of SBI Card. After all the verification i cross check with sbi card tracking system and i saw that my application could not match with thier internal policy for rejection. My application no. is[protected] and i want to know the reason behind the application rejection. Every application for credit should have exact reason for rejection and dear SBI Card might be you know that.

                  I am having above mentioned loan account with Pulgate Pune. My EMI falls due on 20th of every month. My account is regularly updated without any overdue. Yet I am getting message from DM CBSSBI on 28th of every month that "Your EMI is due on 28.6.2016., If not paid charges for late payment of EMI of Rs.573+Penal interest @ 2% shall be debited to your account."

                  Kindly make necessary changes in your system so that such type of messages are not received from you in future.

                        It's so bull that sbi complaint department doesn't work anymore, i complaint on 25th may'16 still they didn't resolve my problem, this is the complaint no.- 1-[protected]. Someone told me that they will resolve my issue within 13 days... See its now 2 months gone.. But they didn't call me... When the sell the credit card or any offer.. The keep calling... But when customer is in problem.. They never replied.. So bull... My complaint was just only that they sent my card limit only 10, 000 yrs as i told that either increase up to 80-90, 000 or take ur card back... But two days back the sent credit card statement.. Really rascals there... Why customer pay the amount??? Call me and resolve my issue asap...[protected]

                              Had apply for the internet banking around a month before, they issue a kit also, but i am

                              Till unable to login or create a user for my account, i visited several times to the

                              Respected branch of indiranagar, nashik-mh. Even my wife also visited the branch atleat

                              20-22 times and spend 2-3 hrs daily, but still we are unable to use the internet banking,

                              My wife and me apply for the internet banking on the same day, but none o[censored]s us able to

                              Use it, the bank people give the reason like "internet not working", you have already

                              Login and its working, but truely till date, its not working of both o[censored]s, we are already

                              Frustrated by this kind of service, we have apply for a basic service only, of internet

                              Banking not a complicated one, if this issue is not solved, then i will really complaint to

                              The highest authorith of the sbi, india, my salary around 80k will get deposited every

                              Month, and that i want to tranfer it to my wife acccount, this is simple funda, and it want to

                              Do this only, not other than this, but still i am unable to open the account and use it

                              Online, if this is the kind of service that i am getting then the next week on 6-7 july 2016, i

                              Will change my account to hdfc bank, they are giving / providing internet banking facility

                              Within 5 hrs from the date of opening the account, so see how other people are providing

                              Their bank service, and we are still lacking behind, even people are unable to map my

                              Account and create it for the use, so kindly looking into this matter very urgently,

                                I made a transaction on 26 june around 2:50pm from axis bank atm in shaheen bagh but the money is not came out .the receipt which i received shows unable to process & i didn't receive any message for the transaction the transaction is cancelled at that time but the money credited from my account the money worth rupees 10023 kindly please resolve my problem as soon as possible

                                  We keep STDR with SBI so that we can make use of money at time of need We keep in two or more names payable to E or S, so that amount is easily withdrawn or used or managed. The SBI creates problem, if amount is needed and both persons are not available. Suppose one mmets accident and other goes for premature payment. He will not get as SBI rule says signature of both required.
                                  other case; A dies and B wants premature payment for funeral etc. SBI will not pay ( sig of both required ). B tells A has expired, SBI will ask for Death Certificate. B has no money for cremation so Death certificate will not be issued and the very purpose of keeping deposit with SBI defeated.
                                  SBI says these rules are framed by RBI. Is it so ? if so, kindly modify, so that General Public is not harassed at hands of Banks.

                                      I have opened and acc in sbi bank (Tiny acc) zero balance acc since i have opened an account i am facing lot many other problems i cannot withdraw my own money from my account first, the debit card delivered to me in 45 bloody days since u have opened my acc now when the card is delivered its not working at all says some error wen i go to banj to withdraw money from there they told to withdraw the money from where u had opened the acc when i went to private sector they said ur d. O. B is mentioned minor in ur acc the private sector who opened the acc might had put minor in ur age section and this was only done so again i had to go to bank to update my d. O. B and after i provide all the necessary documents to update he said the person who was on pc to update my info that it will be done just now and ull be able to withdraw ur money now its after more then 20 days when i am withdrawing the money it says ur acc is closed and when my wife visited to the bank after standing in a long que the person told go to service manager if sbi bank so he told, his own words "tumlog yeh acc band karwa do ismein yeh sab problem aati hain" for our all 45 days hardwork he concluded in just one sentence it was bloody so frustrating as i wud kill that. I might have written some words here and it took me hardly 5mins to type all this and feels so easy but in real time i was suffering from 45 days me and my wife both. I hate bloody sbi bank from the core of my heart.

                                      No action were taken by sbi bank they are bloody lazy people no contact from any bank or number their timings is to come in bank by 10 am and they bloody come by 11 am and wen a customer who was standing in a que for so long talk to them so their system is down this is their reply niw they are telling to call customer care number of sbi bank and when customer calls them they say ur problem will be resolved in next 10 days bloody hell byt nothing happens, these shameless sbi people they bloody dont even that the acc holder who is suffering from so much of problems a pregnant women is standing there in a que for so long and after such a wait this bloody service manager says her "yeh acc band karwa do ismein aise hi problems aati hain" and thats it no out put for a pregnant women standing there for hours and this wat this ass hole is replying i feel like to bloody smash my 9number shoes on his faces. No actions were taken from any person in bank and we are still peddling from my house to bank since last 45 days leaving our job aside as if we don't have any other work to do. Again i have called in customer care and they are telling that there is no problem at all from my side u need to talk to the service manager of SBI acc now wen i get there to speak to him the got the information that he is on leave for 7 days. NOTE: previously i was facing the same problem i already had a word with this he said without even checking that "yeh acc mein aisa hi hai band kardo isko"
