Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] Complaints & Reviews

Respected sir /madam,
Yesterday there was a power cut from
morning till evening, the power supply was available for haf an hour and the power was cut from evening. Till now we didn't receive the power supply. I have called the local customer service in TNEB but no one responded for my call from yesterday.

Kindly arrange someone to check as soon as possible.

I living here at Elaiyaperumalnallur village in udaiyarpalayam tk, ariyalur dt 612 903.
Here we face contineous power cut problem here.
If little rain or little wind flow or symptoms of rain comming
The above any reasons are happened, they have been cut the power for 1 day or 2 days... what we can do for that 2 days power cut... here so many of students are studying and small babies are not sleepling during night time... we are not able to live here without power supply... so please rectify these issues as soon as possible...

Residing in ranipet dist, sengadu post, sengadu mottur...there no power nearly 6 hrs...having a new born baby..suffering a lot...and there is no rain at all...no wind anything... kindly respond..

I am living in Krishnapuram in located near by town Rajapalayam. We having a weekly power cut. Power cut dates[protected],[protected],[protected] this information for this monthly last month also we have two power cut. Could you please resolve that issue

Assistant engineer in mugalapalli demanding bribe for providing a normal single phase connection. 6000 and when i told him i will complaint to DE, he is saying DE don't have power and he makes decisions in mugalapalli village, thummanapalli post

Dear Sir/ Ma'am
This is to inform / Complain to you that in my village (Periyaputhur, Karamadai-Annur Via), Coimbatore), We have been Facing low voltage issues for over 2 years now. We have made multiple Complaints to TNEB but nobody resolved the issue. Although we are only getting (150v-180v) in the daytime, we receive an average of 200v at night times. But for the last few days, we are getting the same low voltage all the time. Also please note that there will be 3 to 4 brief(10-15 mins) powercuts daily. And When the power is restored the voltage reading will be higher than 200v but as the time passes within a few minutes the voltage will drop to 180. As I'm in a rural area whenever the local farmers turn on motors for irrigation the situation gets even worse. The improper supply of electricity in my village made a greater discomfort for the residents. As we cant run a fan or AC with this voltage and also this lead to damage of multiple electronic products. I Humbly request you to please take a look at this issue and rectify it as soon as possible.

I received wrong sms from TNEB for the SC.No [protected] from EB office Kodumudi, Erode Dt. My mobile number is [protected]. I want to remove my mobile number from the above SC. No.

In my area there might be a fault in the posts
So the current off s any time and it leads to low voltage current. When we complain about this to the local electricity board.. his behaviour is always rude and he tells that he knows everyone on my higher officers

No one has come to take any consumption reading for this month, i have checked frequently regarding the bill amount.Suddenly yesterday, its shows the last time amount which i already paid for previous month& the same needs to pay this time too. everybody says in my street no body comes for taking the meter reading. Then how can i pay the money blindly without knowing the actual consumption. TNEB needs to take such action immediately to avoid this concern to the customer.

My house meter readings is not take

I am getting this "Invalid consumer number" error message while adding"[protected]" P. Shanmugam consumer number to my account. Kindly help with this on priority. Thank you. We need to pay eb bill as earliest.

New colony EB office is not properly responding to EB complaints or electric meter reading

They used internet as a excuse
And they always have internet issue in office (as they say)

We fix a New meter box which was given by TNEB electrician before a year now only checking that after the current off due to a fault in electrical wires, the meter box unit is showing I didn't know how it's possible because after current off Or any other problem all the other house meter are off but our meter is running. It causes more current bill Without using more current. Please check our meter box and change it .

Daily power cutting for 5 to 10 times for 15 minutes to half an hour it's very annoying for work from home people kindly please look into this at the earliest

Eb number [protected] meter is not showing readings.kindly replace the meter .

This is Safal Abraham Shaji, resident of D E1 Jains Anumita Apartment, Panchayat Road, Perungudi 600096. I have recieved an online bill of amount 24354 rs from the TNEB, whereas all the previous bills till date was less than 1000rs . I tried calling TNEB and inform on this but no response. I request them to cancel the bill and release the new one with the original amount.
