Sir/Madam, I purchess one TATA CHIVA DELTA PLUS on dated 29/07/2011. After 5 days this was not work properly. Then I contract your auth. dealer M/S Dutta Telecommunication and he check the above set and also deposit your Authorized Stockist / Distributor M/S TVH-HOWRAH at 5-P, M. G. Road, Howrah Maidan, Howrah -711101. And he issue a DOA certificate No.[protected] on dated 4/8/2011, Job sheet No.0002. Today 13/11/11 there are no response in your TVH-HOWRAH Showroom, many time con-tuck Mr.Sanjeev Agarwal there are no response in my complain .
Request you to look into the matter and help me get as a consumer what I'm entitled to.

    I changed my monthly internet rental from a 1Gb limited Parivar 250 plan to an unlimited DS 405 plan effective from June 23, 2011. But for the last 4 months (Jul to Oct) including latest bill for October 2011, I have been receiving inflated wrong bills which calculates bill amount based on the older plan which was discontinued in June. My account details show the current unlimited DS 405 plan, but the billing department continues to charge me based on the discontinued limited plan.
    I have been calling up Tata Indicom service desk and Nodal centers every week asking them to reverse back the inflated amount in my bill. For the last 2 months they have not reversed the inflated bill amount. In the meantime their service agents keep calling me everyday asking me to pay the outstanding amount.

    Tata Indicom also raises a complaint number everytime and promise that from next month the right bill for DS 405 unlimited plan will be sent. But every month I get a wrong bill and I have to call their customer service to solve this situation. This has been happening for last 4 billing cycles. I finally gave up and am closing my account. I will never ever take up any Tata Indicom account in future.

    Last time you promised that my mobile no. [protected] will not be ilegally
    disconnected again in future but that too is of no use. And, my mobile is again
    disconnected without any reasonable cause. If I am wrong let me know the
    specific reason of disconecting my mobile in June, 2009. And, it was not
    restored unless & untill I was forced to deposit double of my unbilled
    usage. You can check my account in last I have been given credit of excess
    amount too.


    So please help me out I dont want to disconnect my Tata mobile no. But, your
    officers are adamned to way me out from Tata
    mobile.

    I thought this case is cleared and asked TATA indicom to revive my plug to surf service, they replied to me saying that my connection is permanently disconnected as I have an outstanding amout. This was done without informing or asking me. However on phone I am being informed that there is no outstanding on my account
    I dont understand this discripency in information

    Kindly help me settle this as I am trying to sort this since a year and a half
    we have taken wireless internet connection from tata indicom....we opted for rs.325 plan....but they have put us in 799 plan and now they are forcing us to pay the bill...we have been speaking to their customer service for last one and half month but nothing has been done till now.....instead they call us four times a day to pay the bill .
    I am having a TATA indicom post paid connection . My bill date is 22nd of every month. I check my unbilled usage time to time just because i have been feeling like as if over charged. Similarly i checked my usage on March 19 th on through 121 service. it was around Rs.1500/-. just after four days i received billing sms of Rs. 3302/-. My question is how it can be just double in four days. I filed a request for itemised bill by paying Rs 25/-. I received mail simply with a excel sheet attached. Firstly this excel sheet does not carry any authenticity of TATA as a organisation or has been created by some one at his end. Secondly this does not gives any idea about the charges under different heads mean SMS, Local call, STD , Roaming , Tata 2 Tata etc etc. I had complained this before which of course never clarified but finally because of poor response i stopped follow-up.

    Please give me ur reply as early as possible otherwise i will suite a case against u in consumer court
    Don't pay the bill and call on that number trace who's the user this number and complaint to police station...they will find him/her and the user will pay..

    I have received my first bill from Tata Indicom which is highly charged against my usage. They are claiming that my data download is 600 MB when I hardly use internet...hence had taken a connection for Rs.99 p.m. I called their call center which didn't help me & said OK we will cancel your connection. They didn't even attempt to retain me as a customer.....horrible customer service...TATA has really detoriated on services & standards.

    They infacted disconnected the call in midst & didn't even bother to call me.

    I hereby warn you (Tata Tele Services) that if my service is not reconnected with immediate effect, on receipt of this mail, I shall be constrained to proceed legally to recover loss incurred to me by your illegal action, at your cost & risk, which please be noted seriously.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      How would it if a telecom company harasses you everyday because some fraud/cheat has given your number and does not bother to pay and the telecom company comes after you and starts threatening you with a legal notice from its debt recovery team?

      This is exactly what is happening to me everyday. TATA INDICOM is mentally harassing me and continues to waste my precious time during business hours.

      1) Around 3-4 months back, I got a call on my number 982****311 saying something like "Dear Mr. Rajan, Tata Indicom welcomes you on your new connection" whereas I had not even applied for it. I spoke to Tata Indicom's customer care department the same day and told them that they had the wrong number. They said they will update that and apologized for the inconvenience.

      2) I got a call few days later to ask me if it was working fine and I told them they had the wrong number and I did not have a connection.

      3) Over the next 4-5 weeks, I got calls from them everyday asking me about payments, whereas I had not even purchased any service or product from them and I conveyed the same to them every time and I even spoke to a senior and told him to change the data.

      4) Today I got a call where a lady threatened to send me a legal notice for the same.

      What is my fault? Isn't it Tata Indicom's duty to verify the KYC before they start calling someone?

      a) They are harassing me everyday to make payments for something that I have not purchased.
      b) They do not update their database and I have to bear the brunt. I have even told me to come to my office to verify that I am not the same person but that also is not being done.

      Please help me here.

        I VENKAT PADALA , mobile no [protected] want to file a consumer forum against TATA INDICOM Services. I took a connection on 28-APR-2006 , the offer at that time was unlimited free to tataindicom for two years) till dec 2007, thaen another offer came with rcv 2008 to continue the plan i recharged the same on dec 2007 to avail till 11-SEP-2013 (with the same call rate), recession the company has changed the plan and then send me to recharge with a nominal of rs 51.00 (Rupees fifty one) then i continued (by sending STVNSM for avail free call for one month) with this since message the company has deactivated the call facilty to customer care and when i recharge to avail the facility the messages comes to me "Sorry you are not eligible for this facility" from this month onwards so i am help less. Please do the need full as soon as possible. I used to talk to my old aged parents for a long time.

          I have got Tata Indicom photon plus since a year. But facing problems since this friday, 28th October 2011. I am not getting any connection since friday till today. I work online and need broadband and high speed internet for that, but everything is at stake since these 3 days. I would humbly like to request Tata Indicom to attend to my complaint. I have got postpaid connection, so if i dont get connection for so long time, it will be useless for me to pay money to Tata for a good for nothing service. Also its impossible for a customer to rush to Tata Indicom office every now and then, and then wait long hours for my turn to come. Below i am giving my Photon plus details, please take steps as soon as possible.

          TATA Indicom — Selling connections with false statement.

          The company sold me 2 tata indicom([protected],[protected]) mobiles and told me that roaming incoming calls are totally free.But this month i seen my bill and came to know that company is charging me for roaming incoming calls.I written to company for this 15 days before but i haven't received any response.So i again request you to solve this matter amicably and adjust the amount which i paid to your company till nowfor roaming incoming calls.

          Tata Indicom , Broadband USB Hi speed connection modem — Complaint on TATA Indicom - Hi speed wireless broadband connection

          Dear Sir/Madam

          I have taken TATA Indicom - Hi-speed USB wireless Broadband connection (HSIA 800 Plan) at chennai, asking i am going to use it in hyderabad.
          cost of the Device is - 3500 rupees. Taken under speed 1MBPS and 1GB download range for monthly 800 rupees + tax. only 3 days i used in chennai without any problem.
          other than chennai i was not getting any signal. After reaching hyderabad i raised complaint no[protected],[protected] but no response.

          I threatend them like i give complaint on TRAI. then only action got taken, i was guided to change the settings in the tool which they have given.
          I got signal and checked with speed where i am getting very low speed (12 - 34kbps). which will not be enough for me to work with my USA Client.

          Reason they are giving like it will not work for 1MBPS. it works max only for 100kbps ( Which is 10 times slower than the given time) other than chennai.
          Here only i realized i got cheated with false statement which they have given . so i asked them to take back my device and give back my money. They are not agreeing.
          Requesting them to provide speed connection atleast. they are not doing.

          Tata indicom selling another device for broadband connection cost 2500 which provides same features which i am getting now for monthly 650 rupees.
          i asked them atleast to replace, though it is a loss of 1000 to me. even for that also they are not agreeing.


          Tata indicom selling there products with false statement. Acting clever by organisation for cheeting Public. Customer care personal were not polite
          they says, they are not bothering if the customer goes to TRAI. like they are ready to face itseems..


          I don't have other option to get justice without TRAI. I belive TRAI will help me out from the illegal event.

          TATA Indicom — Low speed and Router not delivered

          Dear Consumer forum,

          I had braught a Tata Indicom broadband 1 mbps connection and paid 6 months subscription fees in advance as they were providing a Wireless router free after paying 6 months subscription fees in advance. Now it is 2 months after the broadband is installed and i have not received the wireless router. I have called the sales person many times but he has not done any help although he told me that i will be getting the router in 15 days. Finally i was fedup and called the Area Manager now he also is giving me dates about the Router delivery but more than 10 days have passed and he still tells me that he is checking the status. (it sucks).
          Moreever with a 1 mbps connection i should be getting download speed of atleast 256 kbps and i never got it above 120 kbps. This is killing my business. I have called the customer care many times and got reply also but nothing seems to change after multiple calls as well. MY RECOMMENDATION IS NEVER GO TO TATA INDICOM. THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED SERVICE. WILL TAKE THE ISSUE LEGALLY HENCEFORTH.

          Actullay It is not PHOTON Plus, it is Phata hua (in hindi) and worst support ever seen in Telecom sector.

          My Account number is[protected]. This time I have logged a complaint (Ticket number[protected] dated 3rd July 2010.
          Assuranc ewas given that problem will be solved with in 24hrs.
          I do got call with in 24 hr ask for the time to visit, I gave the time and after that no one call up till date.

          I made a follow up call on 8th July asking status, response ticket is Open and again another sweet assurance problem will be resloved with in 24 Hrs.

          No one call up ( as expected)

          Another follw up call on 9th July 2010 (after expiry of 24 Hrs). Same standard response (problem will be resloved with in 24 Hrs).


          Can some one let me know how to file a suite aganist TATA TeleService??

          They are also stealing the balance MB (pre-paid connection in my case) which I noticed today only, In morning I got SMS of outstanding balance of 642 MB and at 9:42PM I recived SMS stating 634 MB. I notice the difference only because today I haven't used photon plus.

          may be this is the regular practice at their end.
          A Tata photon plus wireless broadband connection was installed in my laptop sometimes in July or so. Soon after installation of the connection, when it was opened I got pron pictures automatically appearing on the screen of my laptop. I tried to disconnect but I could not do it. I made a complaint and your representative came to my house but he could not do anything. He told me that I have to format the computer and reinstall the connection. Continuously for 3 days the pron pictures appeared immediately after opening the computer. Finally I got the computer formatted by an engineer for which I had to spend some money. Thereafter the connection worked for only 3 days and went out of order. I phoned to your office but no one attended. A bill was received on the due date and it was paid by me. At that time I had told your representative that since I am not able to get connection of the internet, I wanted to disconnect the connection. He told me that it will be done. Even after that I received a bill for Rs.611/- or so but since I had contracted with you for payment of Rs.550/- only per month, I paid him the amount and told him to immediately get the connection discontinued. But to my surprise your people are telephoning me again and again for making further payment of the bill. The connection never worked for more than 3 days since the installation and I could not use the same at any time. Your demand for payment of further bills is uncalled for and I refuse to pay the same. If you harrass me further I shall be left with no alternative but to go to the Consumer Court for redress of my greivance. Please therefore henceforth do not insist for payment of any bill in this regard and treat the matter as closed.

          I have the Tata Photon Plus - USB Broadband.

          The speed assure is 3+ MBps

          but nothing, but same slow connection...sometimes ever google.com takes hell lot of time.
          earlier we registered the complaint and some technisian came to a visit (not even authorize Tata Indicom personnel).

          He did some test like speed test and all, and said that he has done some changes or upgrading of some router or so, then for two days, the speed was better than before but never above 512kbps...what is this...

          then just after few days...like a week or so the speed went back to same as a 56kbps modem...????

          I did the speed test on both tata site as well as speedtest.net and results are

          Download speed 98 Kbps
          Upload speed 57 Kbps
          Round trip time (avg) 905 ms

          Can anyone explain me if I am being cheated on the name of broadband connection????
          Dude it's TaTa Indicom they will never repay your money back.
          Not even in terms of talktime.
          They build almost 25% of their revenues by cheating consumers and charging them wrong call rates.
          I have been following up with them for past 2 months and they closed the ticket after reading the call rates.
          It is a typical corrupt bureaucratic government organization.

            I mohd. Abdul. Samad ph. No [protected] i had converted my phone from post paid into prepaid and submitted identitiy proof such as passport copy and my photo to mr parsanna a tata exeutive in vip room in klk estate hyderabad dated 15/10/2011 but tata the customer care executive persons has harasing by telling me to re submit the id proof copy and photo, warning me if i didnot resubmit it tata will disconnect my phone services. I had already submited my id proof and photo on 15/10/2011 itself, why should i resubmit it, where it had gone the tata tele com /tata docomo is not careless child to lost my id proof and photo copy, i request the careless tata tele com /tata docomo to search my identity proof copy and photo copy update my id proof copy and photo copy which i had submitted on dated 15/10/2011, contiune my services

            TATA Indicom — Services not started after 1 week of submission of ID proof

            Hi,

            I have purchased TATA Indicom Photon on 4/6/10 and same day submitted the photo and ID proof. It went fine for one day but when I used after 5 days it failed and after lots of efforts I found that TATA Indicom representative has not submitted the proof. I called him (Sumit) TATA Indicom representative of Dehradun again he has same answer that it will take time.I need badly the internet to work for my office from home and I had bad times because of this.
            TATA Indicom disconnected my services without any information which is a harrashment to me mentally and financially.

            Please help me
            As far as my experience with TATA Indicom it is a genuine company and it values its customers highly. But as you have mentioned i feel sorry for you.

              I got a call from Tata Indicom saying that they have refunded my money (Rs. 501/-).
              However, on verifying the same with the Tata Indicom call center as well as my bank statements, I was told that no such amount has ever been credited!

              I had recharged my Photon Plus through a friend via the internet for Rs. 501/- on 10th September, 2011. However, till date I have not been able to access the internet.

              I had got in touch with the representatives (and have spoken to at least a dozen of them since 16th September, 2011!) till now, and each time I was given callous reasons for the same.

              Till date, I have not received a single call back from Tata Indicom (Respresentative Amruta claims to have done so).

              Finally, to my surprise and anguish, I was told by supervisor 'Hina Gharat' (?) that my balance was successfully recharged, but had 'lapsed'!! When I asked her for my usage details, she said that she was unable to do since since she didnt have 'authority'.

              Request you to please refund my money if you cannot solve my problem!

              TATA Indicom Photon + — Not getting the speed as promised by TIL

              Dear sir , I have given the following complaint to Tata Indicom Nodel officer and have followed with him least 4 times but he is a deaf and dumb person and just seating idle on this . I had gone to TIL office at Furgusson collage road but they too are sleeping on the same .

              need the justice from you as I have been cheated by TIL.

              I have a following complaint which has been registered twice at your customer service call centre nos but unfortunately got closed one sided without information to me . being a tata customer and an ex senior employee of tata , I do not expect this from tata indicom . I need your intervention and help to resolve this case . Being an ex senior tata employee, if there is no movement from your side , i will not take much time to report this to the senior most level of Tata Indicom / Tata Sons which please be noted !


              For last three / four months my connection goes for a toss in the nights and it takes some times 15 min to send a mail or open a web site .
              The connection gets off often and needs to make on .
              The connection hangs on for a long time and I do not understand whats happening .
              I am unable to operate and have registered my complaints


              Your rep came to my residence and checked the connection strength and speed.
              The speed shows much lower than the required .
              He assured me to resolve the issue and assured me that a technical team would come and check .
              He checked my laptop too .
              I have waited for a week and gave a call once again to know that my complaint has been closed one sided , Have once again registered the same .

              Since nothing has happened , i went to your FC rd office and came to know that at Aundh there is no tower and tata indicom has no plans to come up with the tower.

              I am surprised with the answer .
              I have asked the lady on the counter to take back the connection and pay back the initial equipment amount which has been refused .

              I have a following complaint ,


              Why should I suffer for Tata indicoms inefficiency ?
              If this was known to tata indicaom , why did they sell me the plan and connection ?
              Why would I pay the monthly rentals when the connection does not work efficiently in the nights .
              How can tata indicom closes the complaint single sidedly without taking me into the confidence .
              Do thay ( tata indicom ) have any courtesy to inform to the customer on this .
              The call centre tells me shamelessly on calling them that I am satisfied and the complaint has been closed .
              The people employed in the call centre are useless , Shameless to understand the customers voice and are not fit to represent tata indicom as have no brains !
              I need you to resolve my problem ASAP , if needed you can put a small booster at my place .I want you to also investigate the above issue and find out as to who was the culprit to mention in your record that the complaint has been closed on account of satisfied customer.

              Another representative called me after that and said that i had a negative balance of Rs. 1.59, and hence, I was not able to use the Rs. 501/- credited to my account.
              He also said that the refunding the 501/- is not possible. I fail to understand why this is being communicated to me after a months' time.
              Secondly, why cannot this meagre balance adjusted with the recharge I had made?


              Request you to please refund my money if you cannot solve my problem!

                  They asked me contact the outlet where I paid the bill wrongly by mistake. I contacted them yesterday, they said... it will take 2-3 days of time to adjust/transfer the amount to right account number.

                  Though account number[protected]which is associated with same Tata Indicom number [protected]) is disabled, by mistake I paid amount Rs. 1500/- on 17th September at Tata Indicom, Outlet at KPHB COLONY. Please find the reciept attaced.



                  I raised a complaint with those guys to adjust/transfer the bill to the actual account and it might take 2-3 days.



                  MEANWHILE, PLEASE STOP CALLS/EMAILS REGARDING BILL PAYMENT.



                  LET ME KNOW IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO AVOID CALLS REGARDING BILL PAYMENT.

                      As you know telecallers, I took an offer after speaking one of them in respect of Valentines Day. She told me specifically that my offer consists of purchasing a Walky and Mobile only for Rs. 1,600 & there will be no rental charge. I agreed. For that reason they supplied on that very day the Landphone with the Mobile set and took Rs. 1,600 and gave me a Bill for that(attached).

                      Following the next 2 months passed without any hassle and I paid my bills(attached) without any rental as agreed (attached).But when the next bill came, the amount is unbelievably huge and I asked the Customer Service for the said mistake. It was shocking when she said that the amount might be a mistake and there will be a second bill on the way, but nothing came (attached).

                      After that I stopped paying my bill amount, but the next month shockingly another bill came adding nonpaid amount, I also not paid the amount, hence the customer service told me that they’ll corrected my amount and send as requested.

                      Alas! Nothing came. I got another huge sum adding the rental amount as Rs.249 as sent from last 3 months(attached).
                      I questioned the person who used to receive my bills at my home address. But in vain. Hence I got a letter from Advocate of Calcutta High Court that I have an intention to fraud his client (attached).

                      Tell me what to do. The person concern who is receiving the amount advised me to settle the amount of Rs.1000 and demanding to handed over the Landphone and the Mobile.

                      I am really confused.

                      Since I made a complaint to the NODAL OFFICER KOLKATA also added a copy to the respective ADVOCATE with the Hard Copies of the documents proof I had.

                      Again I paid the settlement amount after consulting with the respective staff.

                      After 2 days I got a call from Delhi from Mr. A.K.Sharma( [protected]) with really insulting words and misbehaving comments that I didn't pay the amount so far,so might be move to the court.Whereas it will be clear that I paid the sum as receipt attached.

                      Hence I found this as a defamatory statement made by the same organisation or its subordinate official.So I request you kindly check the matter as soon as possible.

                        I had filed a consumer complaint on 29th September 2011, Thursday, with respect to an annoying tone coming out continuously from the Walky phone causing us terrible mental harassment. I was allotted a docket no.[protected] upon assurance that the problem will be resolved within 24 hours. On Friday, a call came from Tata consumer cell that a person will be coming at 3.30 in the afternoon. Whole day we waited, but no one came to attend the problem. Again on Saturday, i.e. 1st October 2011, a person had come who saw the Walky piece and just handed over the job card stating that there is a key pad problem and he suggested me to go to Tata Indicom office at Anandvatika, Shop 1, 2, Jawahar Nagar, Goregaon (w), near Shiv Sena Branch, Opp. Jawahar Nagar Bus Stop, (Mumbai).

                        Though the problem was unresolved, very conveniently an sms was sent immediately through TM-122 stating that "Type trouble Ticket raised on 65210159 has been closed".

                        My father and myself visited the Tata Indicom shop at Jawahar nagar on Saturday i.e. 1st October 2011. We were told that no key pad is available and the concerned person at Tata Indicom told us to see him on Tuesday between 12 noon and 6 pm and assured that the problem would be solved on Tuesday ie. 4th October 2011.

                        Very diligently my father went to the shop and asked the concerned person, he was told that the key pad is not available and again asked him to see on 6th October 2011 (Dussera day). Again, not losing hope, my father very diligently went to the shop in the scorching afternoon heat on Thursday and he was told that the concerned person was not present hence the problem could not be attended to and a women employee in the Tata Indicom office asked him to meet the person on Friday i.e. 7th October 2011. This is the height of lack of consumercentric behaviour.

                        Again on 7th October 2011, my father went to the shop and he was told that the said model is not available and told him to come to the shop on Saturday i.e. 8th October 2011 and that the key pad would be replaced immediately. Today, again my father went to the shop and he was told that the product was not available reason being that Tata Indicom's Navi Mumbai shop is closed and now he has asked him to come on Monday i.e. 10th October 2011. Feeling tired and harassed my father has deposited the Tata Walky Phone along with the machine at the Tata Indicom, Jawahar Nagar Office without handing over to my father any receipt or proof of handing over the phone.

                        Is this the way a customer is being served? Service is very PATHETIC !!! At the time of canvassing operations, Tata Indicom's sales person gave very tall talks regarding the product and influenced the poor customers to buy the product. And after buying what happens is the pathetic live situation narrated above.

                        When the product cannot be serviced in an efficient, timely and consumer friendly manner, please DO NOT FOOL COMMON MAN IN THIS MANNER and stop selling the product.

                        My father, (who has recently undergone heart surgery), has undergone lot of mental and physical torture, the phone being unoperational and to and fro rickshaw expenses of more than Rs.100/-.

                        Request that this consumer complaint is attended to promptly so that the confidence in this system is sustained, else it will be just one more addition to the existing list of consumer complaint.

                        I humbly request you to SOLVE THIS PROBLEM immediately.

                          18/June/2011 : I paid Rs.1599/- online, using my Citibank Mastercard ([protected]), with Billing ID 3572568, for booking a Tata Photon Postpaid connection and the sales person (Mr.Love Zain - Sr.Sales Advisor of Tata Indicom,[protected] & [protected]) specifically confirmed that the product is plug & Play and does NOT require any software installation - this was important as my company laptop does not allow any external software to be installed.
                          However, the product did not install, as it actually required istalling a software, which my laptop did not allow.
                          I claimed refund on the same day, which was agreed by Mr.Zain verbally.
                          1/July/2011 : On reminding again, I received Mr.Zain's email requesting TATA SUPPORT TEAM to arrange the refund.
                          18/July/2011 : I sent email reminder, which were not replied to.
                          28/July/2011 : I again sent reimnder, which were again not replied to.
                          1/August/2011 : On the next reminder, I received a reply on 16/August/2011, asking for my Bank Statement & Card Transaction details, which I sent the very same day.
                          17/August/2011 : Mr.Avneesh Choudhary, Team Leader Operations (email : avneesh.[protected]@connectindia.in & Phone[protected] & [protected]) from VRITI INTERACTIVE -wrote an email to me asking for the Billing ID no., which I informed the very same day - he replied that he is working on this and will revert shortly).
                          I can provide the whole chain of emails, if required.
                          1/September/2011 : On my next reminder, Mr.Choudhary replied that it is still in process.
                          16/September/2001 : On my next reinder, he replied that the refund is already made to my account - but there was still no credit on my Credit Card.
                          30/September/2011 : I tried calling Mr.Avnees Choudhary on his cell no, but he said he will call back, but he never called back.
                          8/October/2011 : Today when I have been calling Mr.Choudhary, he picked up the phone & on hearing my name, he disconnected. Since then he is not picking up my call & I have tried at least 10 times. I called the landline no.[protected], when one Mr.Pankaj Sharma picked up and said that Mr.Choudhary & whole team is in some meeting and that he will surely ensure a call back to me before 6 pm today only. But no call came. I tried Mr.Choudhary's mobile again in the evening and he disconnected after hearing my name and now he is not picking my calls.

                          I am not sure, if this group of Mr.Zain or Mr.Choudhary are really a part of Tata Indicom or some fraud company and would like to request the Consumer Court in escalating this to the Senior Management of Tata Indicom & arrange me relief.

                            inspite of this i am gettin frequent reminders by mail and on phone.to pay aug 2011 bill.

                            this is v strange and rediculous.some of the calls may be from their sort of recovery agents as they use v bad language.
                            pl do not think of buying any product from tata indicom especially postpaid

                              i , shailendra sinha has a tata indicom cdma coonection (mobile no.-[protected]) in Bihar. 1 year back they suddenly activated adult jokes on my mobile and deducted Rs. 30/ month. i am a school teacher, 58 year old residing nearby Patna. initially i did not notice it. but later i found that they are deducting Rs 30/ month. i complained on prepaid customer care12524 many times but they did not listened to me. i visited nearby tata indicom centre and requested them to discontinue this service, they told that they will consider it. but till now they did not discontinue this service. if they do like this i have to go to consumer courts.

I have recharged my mobile 5th September, 2011 of Rs. 249/- for STD 2000 mins for Tata to Tata. But today unfortunately I came to know that my account is nil and all STD mins were finished. In my knowledge we haven't used full mins. think there is some mistake in your system.

                                    I am Sankalp Mohanty having a mobile number [protected]. It has been 3 to 4 times that tata indicom has been cutting my balances without any reason. IF i ask them sometimes they say that some data pack is activated (which i havent) sometimes they say u are playing games in tata zone. This only happens when i recharge my moblie. Earlier they used to automatically get my phone connected to voice call and cut rs 6 per min. its not only me who has exprienced it, many of my friends have experienced it too. On 19th i recharged my mobile for Rs 52 and as soon as i recharged they they cut Rs 44 from my balance within few seconds. Iasked them the reason they said i was playing some game called EDU in tata zone and they have cut 22 times @ rs 2 during a span of only 10 seconds. How can i play games without knowing that i am playing. whenever i call the customer care they disconnect my call .Tata has lost all its ethical values. It has now become a corrupt one. Many of my friends have left Tata due to this reason and now i am thing they did a wise decision. With this kind of service i wont ever be trusting TATA product anymore. If they do such thing in mobile service they can also do the same in TATA PHOTON.
                                    And what about my earlier deductions...
                                    which were deducted due to the same reasons...
                                    anyways the Rs.44 is not yet credited which you claim to have been credited to my account.

                                      Hi all,

                                      I have a TATA INDICOM WIMAX connection. Around 3 days back I noticed that there is no signal coming in the modem. When checked, I found that the antenna wasn't there on the terrace. When I contacted the customer care, I was asked to pay a whopping 7,000 bucks.

                                      Now, why would I pay this amount when I'm not responsible for the incident. Somebody (A tata technician, I believe) came and took the antenna with him..........where the hell am I guilty. Please find below few points which'll provide a clear picture...

                                      > No such agreement was signed which says that in case of theft, the customer is liable to pay a bombshell.
                                      > The antenna was loosely installed on the terrace without any proper security, i.e. a lock or some cage.
                                      > To my belief, a TATA WIMAX antenna won't work for any other network and even for any other Tata Wimax subscriber because different IPs/settings are assigned to different antennas (serial nos. are different). So, no one but a TATA technician has done this job.

                                      If someone out there from TATA Teleservices is reading this, please look into the matter.

                                      Tata Indicom WiMax — Refund of extra billed amount

                                      1. I want to make it clear that the refund I am talking about is not about the deposit paid. It is the amount paid extra for the billed amount. Please check the latest bill no. Mar/2011/2/032/[protected] dated Mar 29, 2011. An amount of Rs. 423.60 needs to be paid to me. I paid Rs 1103 against the earlier bill of Feb 2011 generated and sent by you. I am asking for the difference in amount paid.

                                      2. If you check my records, I requested for cancellation of my internet connection on Mar 26/28, 2011. But, the internet connection was disconnected on Mar 25 w/o any prior information to me and my schedule important meeting which was supposed to happen online that day was not possible as the internet connection was disconnected one day in advance.

                                      3. As a good customer, I regularly paid all my bills well in time and advance. Also, though there was no security deposit, I voluntarily asked the support guys to come and take the modem and the antenna from my premises. Refer ERN no. 55042 dated Mar 25, 2011.

                                      4. The support person, Augustine to whom I talked Apr 11, 2011 assured me that he will get back to me in 48 hours (w/o any reminders from my side) with the solution. Till now, no one has called or responded back.

                                      5. If the amount is not going to be returned to me then, I need a reason as to why the extra amount is not repaid back to customers who pay the bill amounts in advance. Also, please show me if you guys have this already in writing and have agreement in place for this.

                                        I am a Tata VSNL broad band prepaid service user for over 3 years and the service of this service provider was average. My ID is VVV27.Recently when I saw my account I found an amount of Rs.650 was charged for value added service for PC security without my authorisation.

                                        When I brought it to the notice of service provider the answer was thatsince the charges were debited the same can not be reversed and I may opt out of auto-renewal.

                                        I vehemently protested againest this as abinitio it was a charge with out authorisation and tantamounts to unfair and unethical practice and amounts to deficiency of service. This amounts to gross voilation of TRAI guidelines as such call for immediate rectification of this lapse. If allowed to continue this unfair practice of debiting customers accounts with any amount without authorisation in the name of value added service. This amounts to virtual deciet for which the service provider has to hold liability.

                                        Now through this forum I once again call upon the TATA broad band to desist from such unethical practices to lower the image of TATAs and redress the greivance forth with.
