I have never ever requested for any welcome caller tune on my number [protected], however on 20th Feb 2012 I realized that a caller tune has been activated on my number without taking my consent, and Rs50/- has been deducted.
I requested for the refund on the same day, and got the reply later that refund has been done.

Now till today only refund of Rs10/- has been made and I am still waiting for my rest amount.

And today, on top of it i have got a mail stating that i requested for this Caller Tune, which means that "TATA INDICOM is not ready to refund the amount which they have forcibly taken by CHEATING and trying to say that i requested for ths caller tune activation.

Simply Pathetic way of earning money.

    I have a brother who owns this Mobile No.[protected]. He is a heart patient and advise complete bed rest.

    Last April, 2011, he was admitted in hospital in a critical condition and the doctors had given him only 15 days time.
    By God's grace, God has been merciful to him and has now given him rebirth. But according to the doctors he is advised complete bed rest. Hence even after having a job at Sahara Internaional, Vile Parle, he can't go to work.
    Hence, losing financial strength and worries about his wife & three children.

    Here, the Tata Indicom Mobile service providers disturb the incoming calls/sms messages to and fro by their unadvertisement advertisements & promotional sms messages thus BLOCKING the incomming urgent messages.
    He is my ladla brother and I had a difficult time to pass my SMS message during that critical time.

    It's high time these mobile service providers understand the customer's urgency on the other side what that person or his her relatives are undergoing. Till date these advertsement calls/sms message have not stopped even after I have complained about it.

    Actually, mobiles are meant for emrgency calls. Some educated Ignorants misuse it to show off. But some sick people or financially backward person some where suffers.

    These days Mobiles are not luxury items they are necessity now because of so many crimes like robbery, murders, kidnappings, rape and to add to this is the Bomb Blasts. Who ever invented it; did it for a good honourable cause. But the Mobile service providers are forgetting this noble cause and have made it only for business. You will agree with me. I think, we should bring about this awareness among the reputed Mobile companies and solve such problems through them too.

    I request you to take stern action against these mobile service providers who simply call or disturb the sick.
    And issue DO NOT DISTURB order for his Mobile No.[protected] immediately.

      i have a perpaid tata indicom modem.. when ever i recharge with internet pack of Rs. 350 or Rs. 201, the very next day i receive a messge stating i have certain sum of negative balance... i am facing this problem continously every month... i even complained in the customer care center o[censored]lhasnagar -5.. bt it was of no use. they had a rude talk with me.. this time i have recharged with Rs. 201 on 3rd March 2012 n yesterday i.e; 4th March 2012 i received a message stating i have a negative amount of Rs. 1124 which was not charged due to insufficient balance in my account.. And now my internet is not working..

        TATA Indicom — Mobile number disconnected

        Dear Sir / Madam,

        I am Mr. Kirit Panchal. I have mobile phone of TATA Indicom (Mobile no.[protected].

        TATA Mobile has been disconnected my mobile number with out any information on [protected] @ morning.My this number is working from last 2 year. I continually follow-up to TATA indicom costumer care but still I am facing the same problem.
        My all business transaction depending upon my mobile phone. And now I am facing some financial problem due to this problem.


        I have talk on[protected] morning regarding disconnected my mobile number on [protected]. I dont know the person but he tell me it will done in 4-5 hours but still the problem is not solved. and when I will call to this number[protected] the person is not pickup my phone and switch off his cell.

        My mobile number is disconnected without any alert from company to me.

        I am very upset from fraud promises from[protected] this number. very bad service from TATA INDICOM.

        I am requesting you to help me for the same.

        I purchased a tata docomo postpaid no.[protected] on 08-03-13.but till date my no. is not activated, I visited at tata docomo office at Saai Road Baddi, 8-9 times from where I'd purchased no but no action is taken nd when I call them they don't attend call.please do the needful as soon as possible

          Hello sir,

          I wanted to bring the following concerns to your notice.

          My Father, Shri U.C.Pandey had applied for Tata Indicom connection on[protected] by paying a deposit of Rs. 149 and was told that we will get the phone within a month’s times. We never got the phone, but After 4 – 5 months we got 2 bills.
          The Account no. was [protected] and the phone number was - [protected]
          When we inquired about the bills and this phone number, it was found that the connection had been given to someone else with a similar name – D.C.Pandey from Aditypur and that he was using the phone, however the bill was generated on my father’s name.
          I complained about this in Feb 2009 and were told by Tata Indicom center of Golmuri that they have canceled the number and removed the information about my father from the system and updated it with the actual person’s information who has the number and who is using it and paying the bills etc. They assured to us that the matter had be sorted and that we won’t get any more bills. We didn’t followup on that to check if that was really done or not.
          As a FYI, we never got that Rs 149 that we had given at the time of booking the connection back as well.
          Now recently on[protected] we got another bill of 2306 rupees for the same number along with a notice from the court !!!!

          I would request you to look into this matter urgently and get the court notice canceled as WE NEVER RECEIVED THE HANDSET SO WHY DO WE NEED TO FACE SO MUCH INCONVENINCE WHEN THE FAULT WAS BY THE TATA INDICOM DISTRIBUTOR WHO GAVE THE PHONE TO SOMEONE ELSE BUT DIDN’T UPDATE THE ADDRESS. We are Tata indicom customers as we 2 have a tata indicom number, plus 5 tata docomo numbers and tata docomo wifi and tata photon plus.

          I called in and registered a complain. the complain number is[protected]. so far there is no update from these people.
          Please suggest what to do about the court notice. i am supposed to be there at 3pm on 24Feb 2012

            This is Rajendra Singh .My complaint is against TATA INDICOM, Who
            committed fraud and and caused heavy inconvenience to me. I had a CCB
            Connection from Tata Indicom which I returned to the company with all the
            Instruments on 19/08/2010. I am still awaiting for refund of my security money,
            nobody ever called me for in this regard.
            My CCB Connection Telephone No. is[protected].

            Several times I tried to call their customer care nos. but the guys over there says
            they don't handle such complaints and gives some other numbers that are not functional.

            I visited the Tata Indicom office many times but the employees give me
            roundabout answer. They talk rudely and insultingly. They don't value
            customers time and cause inconvenience. I think you guys there don't
            know how to treat your customers.

            As a proof I am sending the Equipment Return Note herewith. please

            TATA Indicom — Non Refund of Money

            Dear Sir

            I have take two connection from tata indicom one for broadband use and another for telephone connection but after 3-4 days one engineer from tata come on my complaint and told me that you have to surrender your broadband as we can't give connectivity in your area after this no refund has come to me yet now.
            When i have enquired about my refund they told me that you have broadband bill and disconnect my mobile which i want to retain inspite of disconnecting broadband . i have reciept of tata .
            hi, I got Life long Connection from tata indicom with deposit amount paid. I left without paying the bill for a month. They disconnected both incomming and outgoing. Cutting outgoing is acceptable, But how they can cut the incomming since it is a life long connection, even they having my deposit for trust. Ok i left it and ask them to disconnect the phone. So the executive come and took my phone. Then i claimed for deposit amount, since my deposit money is higer and they took the instrument. But they are telling that they never give deposit to the customers and now they send a notice for 600Rs Bill with penalty for non payment of the last bill. What the hell is this? I want to know the meaning of deposit, google gives the definition " money given as security for an article acquired for temporary use;". If i didnt pay the bil means they must reduce it from my deposit and give my remaing deposit back. But they are saying no refund of deposit. Help me to come out from this .
            Tata Indicom is a fraud company making cheating people out of their hard earned money. Their customer service is pathetic. Never ever go for Tata Indicom.

              I (Nattudurai ) want to terminate my VSNL connection due to unsatisfied with your service. I faced connectivity problem continuously by week by week. This complaint we inform your customer care they will resolved the issue with in hour but last time we complaint 5 times (SR NO :[protected] , SR NO :[protected] but nobody response or call back for resolving the issue. This is an business firm, without net connection we do any thing. So we are not interested to continue with your service, that's why we take new connection from other service provider. So pls terminate your service & I paid Advance Rental for 1 year. From 11/11/2011 we are stopped the use your service. I want settled my balance amount through DD/ Cheque / Transfer the Amount to My A/c No. You can also issue Cheque / DD as My Company Name or My Name (Nattudurai) . In your system my name is not correct, correct one is I mentioned above.

              Tata Indicom Broadband — Issues with refund

              I have been with Tata Indicom broadband connection for close to 2 years, I have been facing frequent issue with internet going down in my area and they would put up temporary fixes. Main issue would be internet will go down Saturday night and it will not be fixed until Monday afternoon.

              Finally in May 2010 first week they had problems providing connection and the engineers confirmed that they will not be able to provide wired line broadband and feasibility of Wimax also failed in my location and after having discussion with the customer service executives they confirmed that they will be refunding the money.

              I have got a couple of confirmation calls on terminating the connection and processing the refund during end of May/early June. After that I didn't see any progress on the refund. I called up Customer Care and informed them on 28 July 2010 and I didnt receive any response till 1st Aug 2010. I called up customer care and spoke to the floor manager and he assured me that I will get a response by 2nd Aug 2010 - Noon. Also the executive mentioned that the account is suspended and not terminated and I asked him on the refund amount and he stated something close to Rs. 700 less than what was communicated to me. After the conversation with the floor manager I sent an email to the customer care email id and Nodal Officer. I did not see any response till now. I wonder if they really have a customer care team which is realy working on the concerns raised.

              Nodal Office has requested for 30 more working days for processing this - I got a response from the Nodal Officer only after 6/7 days. Its already more than 90 days that I have waitied and I have not got a confirmation on the refund amount still.

                I have applied for MNP services and wanted switch to Tata Docome from Tata indicom on[protected] without change the number. But till now, my number has not been trunsferred to Docomo. In the morning I called Tata indicom customer care and they confirmed me, my number will be trunsferred to Docomo at 11 am.. and same confirmed from Docomo customer care also but sorry to say, it not has been done. Even, at 11:48 a.m. I called customer care of Indicom and they told me to contact in local Tata indicom outlet. After that , I called Docomo customer care also and they told me, my request has been rejected.

                I am disappointed for their poor services to customers. This clearly shows, they have no respect for customer's request.

                I hope that, I will get it's solution very soon through your co-operation.

                I applied for mobile portability from tata indicom to airtel for my number [protected]. The first time it got rejected as there was unbilled and unpaid amount due. Airtel officials advised i should pay some extra amount so I did. I applied for second time under UPC TD 978622 on 21/05/13 which got processed on 23/05/13. When nothing happened after 7 days I went and enquire from airtel office and found it was rejected on 23/05/13 with no specific reason. I called Tata customer care and was told it is still pending and they will sms on 4/06/13 - the last day bfore the UPC code will expire..!!! Still no sms...

                Also once the process was processed, on both occasions, I got several calls from Tata ccare asking why I am changing and why i should not etc. etc. it was plain harassment. Now I am confused whether to apply again and go through those torture again or just surrender the number and take a new one from another service provider. it is not Tata customer care...it is Tata Customer Harassment... will never go for their service nor will advise any near and dear ones opt for their service.

                  The service provided by the tata indicom is pathetic. I am trying to recharge RC24 through SMS but it always says that u have already subscribed for the service and to RESUBSCRIBE it, when i try to resubscribe it says U R NOT A SUBSCRIBER.There is no proper response from the customer support. When i tell about the problem that i face, they argue with me and disconnect the call.

                    Near about 15 days before I had taken 48 rs. net pack but net have not working on my mobile since then( 13-14 days before).And when I access tata zone written message appears unable to verify your account information .And when I did contact with customer care they also hadn't solve my problem & now when I try to contact customer care then I always get msg. from computer that hamare sabhi customer care adhikari abhi dusre grahko ki seva me vyast hain. And this is happening from about 10 days before , since then my call is not connecting with the customer care

                      We have taken combo connection one landline connection no[protected] & one broadband internet connection vide user no. [protected] from tata in the month of Jan.2012 with a total payment of 3500 advance for 6 month. Sales executive Mr Sanjeev Saxena told us that with these connection i will get Rs. 100 free call every month and i have not to pay any rent. But to our surprise company raises first bill of Rs.83. when we enquire with customer care of tata they said that we have to pay minimum rent for it then again we have contacted mr. Sanjeev Saxena over phone & told him about the problem & he confirm us that we have not to pay any rent. With this jugling we got tired and decided to surrendered both broadband internet connection & landline telephone connection & we have made respective request to surrender these connection vide request no..[protected]for broadband internet) &[protected] for landline telephone). We have also informed by company customer care that we will get refund of Rs. 2716 approx. after 145 days. After surrender request one officer visited our office and inform us again that the connection cannot be cancelled unless we made written request to customer care & again we personally visited office of tata at sub jail surat. But the officer sitting over there refused to accept the application and told that we have to contact Mr. Sanjeev Saxena . We again approached Mr Sanjeev Saxena & he told us that we will not get any refund. We are unable to understand why we will not get any refund of our money.Broadband Internet connection is not working since very 1st day of installation. We are not satisfy with the services of company hence we request your goodself to please look in to the matter and instruct concern to refund our money at the earliest & collect all their instruments.

                        I was go to tata indicom (Tata Docomo) office in Ameerpet Hyderabad near American twister showroom to buy an new prepaid SIM for unlimited STD purpose on 2 Feb 2012 there i was meet to Mr. Avilash he is an employee in Tata Docomo office he told me sir you should buy Postpaid plan 450 and he told me it will give you unlimited call tata to tata in all India. I did buy this postpaid connection [protected] but according to tata indicom there is on plan for unlimited STD. I did made lots of call but all of paid not free now tata make thousand rupees bill .... How is this responsible...

                            I bought this Tata Indicom Postpaid few months back. I was happily using it and suddenly i started getting a lot o[censored]nnecessary calls on my mobile. It was really frustrating for me to handle them and then i decided to get rid of it. I called to customer care and asked them to disconnect my number permanently. I was told that time that there's no amount which is unpaid on my mobile. After few days i got a call on my alternate number. It was a retention call from Tata Indicom Team. I clearly told this calling person about the situation and why i was not interested in retaining the same number.
                            The conversation was ended up by me saying clearly that i do not want to retain/use this number.I was then promised that same number will be disconnected in 7 days.

                            After few months i had this collection executive at my home saying that i have 700/- unpaid bills on my phone. i denied about the same and decided to talk to customer care. I asked them about it and they said that the number was still in use for quite a long time. When i asked them to produce me a copy of the conversation of the same retention call, they had NO ANSWER and they were speechless.

                            After much thinking i started carefully reviewing those bills which was sent to me through email. I was shocked to see that every month a huge amount was being charged against some ISD Package which i had not even applied for at the time of purchasing the same connection.

                            I am not in a good situation to pay bills which i was not responsible for. I would like to know answers of these questions:
                            1. Why Tata Indicom is not able to produce copy of Phone Conversation with the Customer Retention Team?
                            2. Why ISD Package was activated without my consent and i was being charged for this?
                            3. Why my number was still activated even after i requested to discontinue?
                            4. Why do i need to pay "late payment charges" if the bill dispute was not being handled by the company?

                            I hope someone will have the answers.

                              My landline number is 66102179 and i am a tata indicom combo plan(499/-) user.Last month i got a call from tata indicom regarding the offer of changing plan from 499 rupees to 699 rupees to increase my internet speed from 215 mpds to 512mpds.So i had applied for the same last month.But because of poor service of tata indicom there is no change in the internet speed but then i got a call again from tata regarding the payment of the new fresh bill of 699 rupees of this month. As per 699 plan,there is no change in the internet speed(512mpds) so why should i pay the bill of 699 plan for 499 plan speed(215mpds).
                              I request you that i dont want to change my plan and i want the same old plan (499 plan).

                                  I bought Tataindicom landline phone through marketing department with postpaid connection. My number was 64554773. When I bought the set, I was informed that I can change it to prepaid by just calling the customer care. I waited for a month and when I called the customer care, I was informed to visit their office with their documents. I was upset because I was mislead by the marketing department. I decided to get it disconnected as I was busy with my work and had no time to visit their office. I thought I will get back to them, once I am free. I did not want to pay rent unnecessarily. After disconnecting the service, when I sent them an e-mail to explain the procedure to get it reactivated, I was advised that it cannot be done and there is nothing that they can do about it. This is very strange. Marketing department use false strategies to make sales and we have to later suffer at our own cost. Customer care is least bothered about the situation and they just blame others. This is the worst experience that I had!!!!!!. They should take back the set and pay me if it can't be reactivated.

                                  TATA Indicom — misleading ad

                                  Tata indicom has been running an ad campaign about their "pay per call" offer. Their ad says that calls will be billed at rs 1 for local and rs 3 per call-whatever the call duration. But this is NOT true-the call rates mentioned above are for 10 mins and not for 'unlimited duration'. Is this not, to put it simply, a huge FRAUD????

                                    Not able to browse few major websites using TATA Broadband with Static IP 100 MBPS.
                                    Able to ping, trace but not able to browse those website using this connection. But in the same PC, using different internet connection(bsnl or airtel), I am able to browse the same website, trace and ping. So no issues with the websites. Also the static ip provided to us is not blocked.
                                    The IP address is(my static ip): 61.17.121.2, which i can able see when i browse whatismyip.org. Also the same one is configured in my eithernet card.

                                    One and half months before, we taken new broadband connection from TATA.
                                    This is connection is through Fibre and to our switch is Eithernet.
                                    So we are getting internet connection directly by CAT5 Eithernet. No modem.
                                    This is connection is 100Mbps line with Static IP. We have opted this for speed, static Ip.

                                    I was chasing with TATA people for more than a month, till now I am struggling.

                                    There is no firewall issue, since it is working on the same machine using different internet connection.
                                    There is no DNS issue, since trace route and ping the domain is working.
                                    There is no issue with the website, since I am able to browse in the same machine using different internect connection.
                                    There seems to be issue with ISP side or Website provider network(but least case)
                                    There are few other websites, which are not working hosted with netmagicsolutions.com using this broadband connectivity.

                                      I would like to draw your kind attention and lodging a complaint regarding the behavior of customer care & Tata Docomo HUB ( Sahidnagar, Bhubaneswar).
                                      I am a regular customer of the company since 2007, at the time of taking connection the company provided me a land line set having number 6541632, but after a year some company boy came at my residence and said that the company provides a walky instead of the set provided by the company & replaced that.
                                      But after some time the walky shows the problem of charging for that i made complaints several times and pay for the Parts.
                                      Finally i gone to HUB ( Sahidnagar ) on 21st 01. 2012 as the set is dead since last one month and informed the officer but he told to came on 23.01.2012, and contact the officer of I CARE.
                                      The I care boy is present on 23rd but he told me to pay Rs. 442.00 for replacement of the set, when i asked why should i will pay , when the company takes the set from my residence then company did not refunded me the amount , then for what i will pay.
                                      But they are unable to answer my queries, not even that the point must be noted that in the past 4 and 1/2 year my average Bills comes 2500 P.M. when ever i asked for call details they do not entertain my request.
                                      So please help me in this matter and disconnect the line 6541632 till the solution does not comes.
