WE ARE WRITING YOU AFTER A MONTH OF MISLEADING BY EMPLOYEES OF A BIG INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER TATA INDICOM. WE WANTED TO TAKE INTERNET CONNECTION FROM TATA INDICOM AS THEY HAVE MONOPOLY IN OUR SOCIETY BEING THE ONLY SERVICE PROVIDER. ON COMING FOR INSTALLATION THEY SAID ITS COMPULSARY TO TAKE A TELEPHONE LINE ALONG WITH INTERNET FOR WHICH WE AGREED AND ASKED FOR A SECURITY DEPOSIT OF RS.1000 FOR THE SAME. ON ASKING FOR RECIEPT OF THE SAME THEY SAID IT WILL BE GIVEN IN 2 DAYS.. TILL DATE V ARE IN DARK ABOUT THAT SECURITY DEPOSIT AND THE RECIEPT. 10 DAYS BACK OUT INTERNET CONNECTION ALSO GOT DISCARGED AND ON CALLING THE NO. PROVIDED BY THEM DURING INSTALLATION(Mr. HANUMANT) WE WERE TOLD TO CALL ON ANOTHER NO (MR. ROHAN) AND AFTER CALLING ROHAN HE TOLD US TO CALL ON YET ANOTHER NO. (MR. SATISH) AND TO OUR SURPRISE HE ALSO TELLS US TO CALL ON CUSTOMER CARE WHERE AGAIN TO OUR SURPRISE WE GET TO KNOW THAT OUR NO. IS NOT YET REGISTERED WITH THE COMPANY. SINCE THEN WE ARE MAKING ALMOST 50 CALLS A DAY TO ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED PEOPLE BUT NOBODY IS ANSWERING OUR CALLS. WE FEEL CHEATED AND MISLEAD. PLZ HELP.

    Respected Sir,
    This is to bring to ur attention that i got a prepaid tata indicom number 2-3 days back from Jhansi.At activation it had around 46 Rs.After that next day morning when i tried calling ,i couldn`t make calls as balnce was found zero and then i recharged for Rs 100 again,as i needed to make a call.but other than confirmation of talktime 86 Rs i didne get the balance,and it was still zero,Then due to for an urgent call ,i again recharged it for Rs 110 ,and same ,like before ,msg was sent back that 110 talktime is credited but ,unfortunately 2nd time too it said,zero balance.then i called customer care,from my number but unable to get them because my outgoing is barred.After repeated tries from other connection mobiles i got 2 customer care people which would ask me to keep my phone on hold and later they will drop the call.Then for the whole day ,i couldn`t get there call from any numbers.Next day after repeated attempts from different numbers and continous mental strain ,i finally got a lady customer care personal,which after a loong hold informs me that ,my balance is minus 700 plus.I was shocked to know this.And she told me may be some net charges,but i repeatedly requested her that ,after 0 balance how could anyone use net and also i had got the sim activated a day before ,and has not tried using net,then how come so high negative balance.but she asked me to recharge for more than Rs 500 and also a internet recharge of 503 Rs but in my mobile there is already a plan of Rs 95 for 4.5 gb activated.And other than that i never used any internet and downloaded anything and that too so high usage.Kindly help me to get my balance of both my recharges of Rs 100 and 110.It is a simple fraud,as for minus 700 Rs it will require MB`s of download which i never attempted.my Tata indicom prepaid mobile no is [protected] and alternate number is [protected] ...Kindly help me to get justice...

    Personal number — Balance minus

    Respected Sir,
    I Mr.G.Nayak, C/O Niranjan Nayak.my number is [protected], this is registered with my fathers Id proof as Niranjan Nayak.Sir actually I have activated the job alert for amonth & after a month I already deactive it through the propper way 2/3 times, but still now it is active and last 29th july again the balanced Rs/20 .I complained again they said your minus balance will credited soon and your job alert already deactivevated.Today the message is coming again.

    So I request you to take necessary action in this regard.

    TATA Indicom — Minus balance

    sir, i have Tata Photon connection and every time i want to recharge my photon i seems to be usually a minus balance in my connection. i usually choose an unlimited plan and then how would it become minus balance in my photon connection. i think company have cheated me all the time. whenever some one choose an unlimited plan there is no possibility of going minus balance. please check whether the company has cheated me or not.

      HELLO SIR

      THIS IS REGARDING THE EXISTING TATA BROADBAND CONNECTION I HAD AT MY HOME IN MALLESHPALYA.
      I WAS OUT OF STATION FOR 3 MONTHS AND MY CELL PHONE WAS NOT REACHABLE DUE TO COVERAGE ISSUE.

      TATA INDICOM PEOPLE DROPPED ME A MAIL THAT YOUR CONNECTION WILL BE SUSPENDED IN MARCH - APRIL 2012
      I REPLIED I WILL COME AND MAKE THE PAYMENT IN MAY 2012.

      BUT WITHOUT INFORMING THEY TERMINATED MY CONNECTION, THERE IS NO INTIMATION ON MAIL.
      THEY SAY IT IS OUR POLICY FOR NON PAYMENT OF BILL FOR 2 MONTHS WE TERMINATE.


      I CONTACTED THEM AGAIN, SINCE THE EQUIPMENTS WERE THERE WITH ME , I DISCUSSED AND SAID THAT I WILL MAKE THE BALANCE PAYMENT BUT GIVE ME A NEW CONNECTION, THEY REPLIED YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR NEW CONNECTION AND PAY INSTALLATION CHARGES AROUND 1500 RS, AS IT IS THEIR RULE, I ALREADY PAID BEFORE THE INSTALLATION CHARGES FOR PREVIOUS CONNECTION, NO ONE INFORMED ME THAT THE CONNECTION IS GOING TO BE TERMINATED DUE TO NON PAYMENT OF MONTHLY RENTAL , IT WAS ALREADY MAILED TO THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE THAT I WOULD MAKE THE BALANCE PAYMENT IN MAY,
      I WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER SINCE LAST 1.5 - 2 YEARS.

      I WANT TO SAY THESE KIND OF POLICIES ONLY CREATE THE TROUBLE FOR CUSTOMER.
      THERE IS NO SAFE CUSTODY POLICY IN TATA INDICOM BROADBAND UNLIKE OTHER VENDORS , I DO NOT KNOW WHY?
      IT IS SUCH A WASTE OF TIME TO FOLLOW UP WITH THESE GUYS

      TATA Indicom Broadband communications — Poor Customer satisfaction

      Hi,

      I am almost 2 year old customer of TATA indicom broadband connection.
      My internet is not working since 7th Aug 2009;
      I logged a call on 10th Aug 2009;
      and till date it is still and issue;

      When i spoke to customer service, i got to know the call logged on 10th Aug (REF[protected]
      has been closed by engineer saying my phone was engaged, such a pathetic reply.

      I again opened a new call today(REF[protected] to make sure this grievance needs to have an end.

      In all these days I spoke to following people:

      Hamjad (Customer support walk-in office Pune)
      James (TL field engineer)
      Sanjay (Field engineer who visited my place and cable is not existing since then)
      Gaurav (Customer service department On phone)

      They all believe the cable charges (800 Rs.) has to be paid by me.


      When I tried to find out what is wrong with the cable;
      I saw the cable on 19th Aug 2009 morning when i left for office; after which Sanjay visited my home and could not locate the cable.
      I found it has be deliberately been cut and removed on 19th Aug 2009, which cannot be done by anyone else apart from ICC cable guys(supposedly), as the door is locked to access other end of cable.Also the cable is Cut exactly near the switch(another building) and switch is 70 meters away from my building

      For you ref, please find some photograph attached which might help the situation.
      1. Switches on second building where my cable is connected.
      2. First end of my cable cut near the switch
      3. Other end of cable outside on terrace
      it is a yellow color cable.

      I hope to see some action from TATA BB communication side, as we customer cannot fight with ICC
      cable.

      ICC should take some responsibility towards cabling; they need to educate their field engineers working, as they have tried twice pulling cable from my balcony causing damage to the router where my cable was connected.

      As a customer, I will not be paying the amount for Cable charges which is not removed by me.
      I feel Tata broadband needs to find a solution for this.

      As I have missed my office today for all these issues;
      No response to this email might force me to escalate this matter to another level.

      Hi,
      Am new customer to tata indicom communications ltd.I got the connection in the last month and i used tat for only 2 hrs.As soon as i went to office some one stolen the antenna.I gave a complaint to customer care abt this issue they told me to pay Rs7000/-.Am not at all ready to pay even a 1ruppee also.When i lost the antenna they didnt deducted the money so as soon as i came to know that the antenna was lost i can with draw the money and i can bounce the cheque or i can cancel it but i didnt do tat.Am giving value to the company and the company is not at all treating the customers in a proper way.They told that the antenna is my responsibility so for that i have to quit the job and i have to sit beside the antenna.Every day they are bugging me to pay the monthly bill.Without using it how come i can pay the bill.I gave a complaint to customer care as well to cancel the signal to the antenna.But still am getting messages to pay the bill.Am very vexed regarding this kind of bad service.The workers came they didnt asked me where to put it.One thing i can make it clear i raised a request for internet service and the company has to take care regarding that.One more thing is they are telling that the connection modem and antenna cost is Rs11000 and they are charging 2103/- how come it is profit for the company.This is not a social service and this not at all fare.Am not at all ready to pay even a 1ruppee also.THE SERVICE AND THE WAY THEY ARE SPEAKING TO THE CUSTOMERS IS NOT AT ALL FARE.This is the worst kind of service which i have never seen.pls take certain action regarding this.

      TATA Indicom — TATA INDICOM WIMAX 2.0

      Hi,

      I got a TATA Wimax connection on 12th of June. It was working
      fine till 28th of June...

      suddenly from 29th of June, I was not able to connect...
      I was thinking that it is due to some problem in N/W...i registered a complaint regarding the same on 30th of June...

      today i.e 3rd July as it is weekend I tried to verify the problem.
      I went up to the terrace and to my shock the antenna was not there...

      I immediately called cc, further to my shock cc guy said that I should pay 7000/- + 7% taxes...

      I asked the guy, why I should pay for that ?
      he said that it is TATA's property and I'm responsible for that...

      I asked him one simple question,
      that box cannot be used by any other persons, only TATA can use that...

      he was insisting me to pay it otherwise legal action would be taken...

      I asked him to connect me to his supervisor..he then put me on hold for 30 mins and after that it is disconnected...

      I thought I was the only person facing this probelm, until i visited some forums

      many people are facing the same problem...

      I asked the CC guy, if the box has value of 10k then they should have collected 10k upfront before installing

      playing such cheap tricks will damage TATA's brand image...

      now coming to the issue of paying 7k...

      how am i responsible for this theft, do they mean that I should be sitting on the terrace to look after the equipment..

      anyways now I'm in no mood to use the services...It is really a BAD experience...

        i want to complain regarding the services provided by tata indicom post paid connections in suratgarh, rajasthan. i want to close my connection of phone no. [protected]. i have already paid my bill for month of may 12. there is no customer care at my place so i had called customer care and they did not provide correct information. i am moving out of this station so i want to close my connection . if any thing could be done.

([protected]) . which i have to migrate prepaid to postpaid before 10 days , some days it will working properly but last 6 days his outgoing has Bared due to nagative verification but i have no recived any call or sms related to verification . I have lot of time call tata indicom custcare and also visit tata outlets regarding the same problem but till now i face same problem. So at last and after try the all efforts i submit the complain to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India , I hope you should take a necessary action and provide to me a satisfactory resulation..

                I am Rohit KUMAR CHOUDHARY ,Using one Tata indicom prepaid no:- [protected] From last 4+ year,
                Initially it was working well,but from past few month money is deducted from my account for the services which i do not use,i complained every month at first they used to give our money back,But in the month of May again when my money was deducted i asked them the reason they said that we are using services provided by them but that is not true,we are not using such type of services and when i told them that if my complaint is not redressed to my satisfaction i shall be constrained to take this matter to the consumer's court for which you will be entirely responsible then they reply very rudly do what ever you want to do.

                Sir/Madam,
                It is my humble request please take some serious action towards such kind of things that are happening.They people do not have any fear regarding rule and regulation & Laws,So Please made them to follow these rules.


                i hope strict action will be taken from your side as soon as possible.

                  On 1th May I have puchased a sim with no [protected] and submitted the requried indentity proof. The sim was working up to 12th mayI have made complaint to the vender, He asked for fresh identity proof. I have submiited. then also the sim is not working.

                  Hello.

                  I have submitted the documents to your gallary in 2004 for atleast 5 time at your fort gallary. Again due to some problem it was again submitted.Now 3 months before i was suffering network problem I have submitted at your Nerul gallary to Aparna (Store Manager) but till today it has not been updated. I think the Tata is the name that we trust but it is the 3 grade company and the name itself says Tata and go to another mobile service company.

                  If your managment cannot handle the customer pls say i can handle atleast 25% of your customer center better than your present representative as Tata is wasting over money by paying high salary.

                      Not allowing AT&T 000117 number from TATA Prepaid

                      Hi,
                      I bought a connection of NCR Region from TATA Indicom. From other service providers (like Vodafone/Airtel/MTNL/BSNL etc) we are able to dial toll free conference numbers, like 000117,[protected] etc, but from this tata indicom number I always get some beeps or "this facilty is not available..."
                      I have made n number of calls to customer care and also have mailed complaints to TATA indicom. After so may calls...

                        I am writting this complaint with great frustration, being harrassed by tata indicom broadband people again and again.
                        I am sandeep from bangalore. i met "mr narsimha" from tata indicom broadband sales team on 29 april and he made a lot of promisses regarding their excellent services.
                        I took the tata indicom broadband connection on 30 april 2012. and from that day there has not been a single day when the internet has worked properly.

                        — > the next day itself internet not working properly, engineer came and said some configuration was not proper.
                        — > next day internet didn't worked for 4, 5 hours. i was told server is down. for 2, 3 days the same problem happened and the response was same.
                        — > after 6, 7 days i was not able to connect to internet for almost a day. i was told there is a propblem in server and it will be solved with in hours. when that also not happened i called there engineer his name is "ramanna", he gave a lame excuse that there is a problem in browser (ie, firefox). when i was not convinced by this he said he will bring his laptop and come back in 30 mins. he came next day when i escalated the issue to his manager "ravi". the next day he did some thing and internet was running.
                        — > i am writting this on 12 may 2012, from last 2 days i am not able to connect to internet. first excuse given to me was server is down, than some configuration issue and than the reciever is not working prperly. so they have to change it. when i said it is not my problem you change it now, the engineer "mallapa" said its not his problem too. his manager "ravi" said tomorrow early morning we will do that. its evening i am still waiting for them.

                        My serious advice dont go for tata indicom broadband connection. be aware of mr narsimha, ravi, ramanna, mallapa. since you will pay for whole month but the internet will only work 15 days.

                              I am a Tata Indicom CDMA subscriber. On 2nd May I received a call from [protected] where a lady named Preeti informed me that she is calling from Tata Indicom and I can get a new number similar to my existing number. I accepted the offer and she sent me a representative who collected Rs. 650 along with my ID proof and PAN card copy. He gave me the Tata indicom sim the same day and told me the new no will be activated within 24 hours. But despite my repeated requests, the no. has not been activated till date. This lady kept assuring me everyday that today your no. will get activated. And now they have stopped picking my phone. I think I have been duped of Rs. 650 which is anyway a small amount but I am worried about my ID proofs may get misused by these people. Please advise me what to do now.

                              TataIndicom — Number not Activated within 24 Hours

                              Hi I have taken New Number of TATA Indicom Wiz on 29th Jan'11 from West Delhi Central Market Branch and they have committed that number will be Activated within 24 hours but still number is not Activated and i am unable to access Internet.They have given me a visiting card in which invalid Telephone number is mentioned.
                              If 30th Jan'11 was Sunday then why they have given me number for contact any time and why they have committed that the service will start within 24 hrs.
                              Problem solved and number got activated on 9/5/2012

                                      Tata Indicom are running a scam.
                                      A few months ago I recharged my photon device no.[protected] with 1000 Rs. The amount was deducted from my account but recharge was never done. Also they never refunded the amount.

                                      Second time, after a few months, I recharged my device with 750 Rs and the amount was deducted and recharge was never done.
                                      They never bother to refund.

                                      It seems they are running a scam.

                                      Myself Darvan Singh Negi,Dehradun, Uttarakhand State. is a user of Tata Indicom CDMA connection services since more than 2 years.

                                      Yesterday i.e. on 11.05.11 (Time around 8.05pm) 30 Rs. deducted in my account balance without any information & Activated the Value added service on my mobile no. - [protected] without any information on my side. This scheme has started automatically without my consent and the company deducted Rs 30 from my balance and the same amount will be deducted every month from my balance.

                                      Again the amount deducted.

                                      On inquiring with the customer care no. No any people pick the phone & call automatic end after 5, 6 mint.
