I had been using tata docomo 3G.I faced some problems regarding the signal strength about which i had already filed a complanit.my docomo no. was [protected].
Now i tried tata indicom,everything was ok but no internet access.i called customer care around 20 times in 3-4 day and i was given completely different solutions of the same problem.i sent a message "DB 43" to 121 to activate internet pack but when i called customer care i was told message like this was never recieved.cutomer care response was very very poor.What the hell.now i have broken the tata indicom sim.
It seems to me Tata is experiencing heavy losses in telecom sector and soon they will SHUT DOWN it.
Thats why they are encouraging customers to leave the Tata's services.

    I am having USB connection of TATA Indicom since last 2 years. The details are as below,

    Type of plan - Post paid ( Rs. 325 per month )

    In the month of March'11, I had applied for changing the plan from post paid to prepaid. Accordingly I had submitted all the relevant document to Tata Indicom office at Bhandara and I had paid all the pending bills.
    However, since then my account is in disconnected stage & I am not getting any information regarding status of my account.
    I have approached so many times to Bhandara office & also registered on line complaints on Tata Indicom customore care, but not getting any response.
    Now I am fade up & very much disappointed with such poor services from Tata Indicom.
    Kindly help.

      It is to inform that so many times, I have given a complaint to customer care on phone for my walkytalky hand set no.[protected] , which is not working properly from last 1- 1/2 year and It is completely dead from last 6 month. But the hand set is not either changed or repaired.On Date 09/12/10, I had personally visited to Manimajra store and given a complaint letter for the same.They had given me a complaint request no.[protected], but till date the problem is not solved and I am using my no. [protected], which is disconnected due to non payment of my not working no. 6570696. I am paying my monthly dues on time for my running no. [protected].Also i have mail a complaint letter to nodalofficer.[protected]@tatatel.co.in and customercare.[protected]@tatatel.co.in on 14.07.2011. But till date i have not received any reply call or mail.

      This is a big irresponsibility from TATA Indicom i have ever came across. Though, customer care is there, but no body is receiving the calls and call are put on hold. i am trying to notify my complaint regarding the very poor connectivity of net connection (PHOTON WHIZ) but nobody is there to log my complaint.

        I had a tataindicon postpaid connection from last 6 years. on 9th july 2011 i had migrated it to prepaid at bhubaneswar, orissa. the indicom representative assured me within 48 hous your connection has been activated and you are able to use it. But unfortunately till now i am unable to make a call or receive a call from my cell number & the concern staffs are not responding. Please do the needful at the earliest.

        TATA Indicom — Migration Prepaid connection to Postpaid connection

        Mainay Tata ka prepaid no. 6 month pahlay liya jiska no. [protected] hai. Phir meray pass Tata kay customer care say phone aya ke aap apna no post paid karwana chatay hain. mainay haa kah diya. Pichlay friday dt- 28.08.09 ko unka agent Mr. Pawan jiska no. [protected] hai mujsay meray doccument or Rs. 500 fees lay ker gaya or 72 Hours may mera no. convert karnay kay liyay kaha.
        But unkay time kay anusar mera no. convert nahi hua or mainay tata kay

          Actually,my problem is that i cant call to any mobile even though i have balance in my mobile.
          if i call to 12526 to make recharge,the call is going to end with in 2 seconds.
          if i call to customer care prepaid(12524), it is saying that "sorry,you cannot make call from your......."
          If i call to 12527 to see my balance,the call is going to end with in 2 seconds.
          Now what can i do?

            For the past one week I was facing issues with my boardband internet connection during night times, which hardly gives me 1/5 or even 1/6 of download speed which was promised I would receive. Problem starts exactly at 9 pm in the night and continues till 9 am in the morning until my download speeds are restored almost every day.

            I called the customer care services they wanted me to test my internet speed at http://speed.tataindicombroadband.in/ which was clearly a biased tool for tata indicom customers to check their download speed, results from it gave me more or less similar to what I should receive which I clearly do not get during the night times.

            I have attached the screenshot of actual download speed I am getting with another trusted speed test site which clearly points out my download speed is just around 5 kbps.

            I wanted to file a complaint with customer care executive attended my call so that someone can come to my home and check the speed for themselves, but they are not filing a complaint even after repeated request and ignoring my call and putting me of delibrate hold with no response even after 10 to 15 mins.

            I have been a loyal customer for Tata boardband services for over four years now and if this is going to be the way they treat me over the real problem I am facing I have to consider my options.

            Would be good if someone can respond to my complaint in a proper way.

            Tata Indicom Broadband — very lower internet downloading speed

            I have getting Plan Of 128 Kbps @ Unlimited But WhenEver I download Somthing The Speed Is getting To Me Is 4 kbps
            all victims of tata Wi-Max broadband are requested to complain against them in front of TCS, TELCO, etc management ..so that they expose the fraud going inside tata Wi-Max braodband org. and punish those people who have ruined the reputation of HOUNOURABLE RATAN TATA SIR...!!!

              Please read issue carefully.
              I purchased a new prepaid connection on 2nd July 11. I recharged my mobile number by 125 (1st recharge), 94 (2nd recharge), I surf Net for 3 days. But on 4th day, I started facing the error number::
              691: Access Denied because of Invalid Username and Password for this Domain.
              I started contacting to the customer care using number::
              [protected], they referred me to 12524. I also tried contacting using
              [protected]. They suggested me to contact back to [protected]. And never help me. I could try the
              "EXTRA INITIALIZATION COMMAND" But I dont have this. So , I cant try it.
              Please help me. No-Once helping me out. I also tried my Plug 2 Surf on different system and also tried my Dongle after re-installing my Operating System. But this seems that there is an issue with this mobile internet account. I am not able to establish the connection by logging. because the Username and Password is invalid. I used to dial the number #777 and the user name was "INTERNET" and password was "INTERNET". because I used the dial to do this, i also tried to create a dial up connection. But, no-one helping me out.

                My mother-in-law, Mrs. S. Ambujam, who lives alone at Srirangam, Tiruchirapalli Dt. was having a Tata Indicom Land line connection (Tel. No.[protected] for the last many years. Due to poor service by the Tata Teleservices and battery problems, she decided to surrender the instrument.

                When we approached the staff to surrender, the company staff resisted to take back the connection and with great difficulty, we convinced them and surrendered the Landline instrument with the Charger to the local Tata indicom dealer [M/s Cell World, Trichy] in good condition vide Tata Teleservices Rt. No. 100126 dated 19th March 2011. At that time, the dealer asked us to pay a final settlement amount of Rs. 618 and accordingly we made the payment, vide Tata Teleservices Rt.No. TN/CA 415021 dated 19th March 2011. When we asked about the return of the deposit amount of Rs. 1000, the dealer said, the amount will be returned by Tata Teleservices Ltd. by way of cheque within a month. Now around 5 months are completed, but so far she has not received any amount from the company. She reminded them many times, and lodged complaints to the company but all in vain.

                Since, I already had a very bad experience with the Tata Teleservices Ltd., Chennai when I was having a Landline instrument, I am forced to write this complaint about the treatment given to the customers, by Tata Teleservices Ltd.

                Through this column, I am confident that the company would immediately return the deposit amount fully, as we have fully settled every thing,

ON CALLING CUSTOMER CARE, NO RESPONSE HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND IT IS CONFIRMED BY THEM THAT THE CHARGES HAS BEEN RIGHTLY APPLIED SINCE THESE ARE SPECIAL DAYS.

                  My Mobile No. is [protected] which recharged by be on 01/04/2011 at 21.17 Transaction Id.No.[protected] with Rs.134.00 which I got Rs.350 from this recharge But TATA Teleservices discontinued my services from 10/04/2011 for verification reason which i already submitted when i bought my mobile but i again submitted all the documents to the local Tata Indicomm gallery but services doesnot resumes till 8/07/2011 on 8th June'2011 services resumed but my recharge of Rs.134 which i got Rs.350/- is lapsed due to mobile recharge validity is only 30 days .I talk to call centre they said it is not possible to add Rs.350 again in your recharge but this not my fault i am not asked them to stop services in those i got more trouble due to non availability of my services

                    my landline number is[protected] . the instrument of my vsnl land line phone is not workingfor the last ten days . i also visited the office and the officers also repaired it but still it is ot working . i am a busy person and can't visit the offie daily , so please ask them to change the instrument at myhome only . my addres is 1/10 , shanti kunj , alwar , rajasthan . they also give old and used instruments sometimes , so ask them to give a new instrument .

                      Hi All,

                      My Name is Mayank Mohta. I have taken a new prepaid connenction of Tata Indicom CDMA in the month of June. My number is 92****1484 I took the sim from SP Communication, Banshankari BDA complex, Bangalore. I have submitted all the required document i.e. Passport Photo, Driving Liscence, Passport Copy, Rental Agreement.

                      For the first week the number is working but after that the outgoing was barred. On contacting to customer care i got to know that they have not received the document and thats why they have barred the outgoing calls. Upon checking with the shop from where I took the SIM, the shop owner told that he has submitted document and asked me to check to the Tata Indicom distributor located near Kamakhya Theater, Banshankari 3rd Stage, Bangalore

                      I went there are asked them that I have submitted the document but still outgoing is barred. They asked me if I have the acknowledgment receipt of document submission. Since I dont have the acknowledgment they asked me to submit the document again. This time on Sunday(3rd July 2011) I have submitted the document in Tata Indicom showroon located on Kamakhya Theater Banshankari 3rd Stage, Bangalore, and asked for the acknowledgment. The representative told me to collect the acknowledgment on Monday(4th July 2011) evening. By this time my incoming is also barred.

                      On Monday when I went there and asked for the acknowledgment, I got the reply that they have submitted the document but there is not acknowledgment receipt and the number will get activate in a day or two but nothing has happened.

                      Now I am helpless and feeling that I am at no mans land. Even after submitting documents my number is deactivated. Such a bad service from Tata group which was supposed to be one of the leading group headed by a wonderful person. A great disappointment.

                      I was wondering that why these people active the new connection without verifying the documents and once they made it active, why can't they inform the user that their documents are not submitted before deactiving the number.

                      I have decide to move to Airtel or Vodafone as they provide better service and their customer care is far better than Tata Indicom as per my experience.

                        i had taken up my photon plus connection on march 6th, 2011. For the first few days the speed was amazing but later on i got to know about its true colours. Whenever i have an important work on the net or whenever i have to search for something important, there is no network. Or by chance if sometimes i can avail to the network then the speed is so slow that i have to give up browsing. The company gives such false interpretations about its products and makes common people lure away and end up just paying in vain. i had taken up the Rs. 750 rental package. My tata photon no. is [protected]. i hope the customer service people will really have little kindness on me.

                        tataindicom photon plus — low speed

                        i am receiving very low speed in my tataindicom photon plus connection. i am using photon plus since last one year and i have noticed that since last two/three months the speed has become very low. not only me but all the staff of my office who has a photon plus connection is experiencing the same problem. what is the reason behind? sometimes we get disconnected due to this very low speed that reaches to zero kbps. it never reaches the speed level that photon plus assures. the highest speed that till now i have received is around 200 kbps.

                          SUB: Complain against customer satisfaction team/ Retention team.

                          I am a very dissatisfied customer of yours and although I had a horrible experience with TATA TELE SERVICES and also I am not a customer of any of your services now I had some things to say.

                          Sir, I was using your net connect device from last one year and suddenly it stopped working may be device was damaged. Immediately I reached your service outlet at greater noida and noida sec 18 but no one helped me also they asked me to buy a new one.
                          Sir, I face unpleasant customer service at both the outlets then I decided that let anyone from tata group contact me and with same intention I stopped payment of my bill being thought in my mind that any one from tata will contact me and I will narrate the story to them and will get my problem solved.

                          Sir, it was up to my surprise that my pending bill was just of Rs.1200/- and as I am working as manager in an mnc is it that much big deal to pay Rs1200/- of course not.

                          Now no one from service team retention team contacted me why they do not want customers to be happy and joined with tata but your managers are not concerned about customer service.

                          Sir, today I received one call from one number when I was in office and person said he is calling from Delhi Tees Hazari Court and TATA has files case against me and tomorrow is hearing for the same.

                          I got surprised and asked him why so he gave me no of another person he introduced me as advocate of tata and said that we have file case as you have not paid bill I said but is this my fault I asked service providers to rectify my problem but at that time no one was interested.

                          Still being a reputed citizen I immediately made payment through my credit card and asked them to stop my connection permanently.

                          Now please inform me that without prior notice how tata can file case.

                          Why I received such call what tata group thing there customers have no respect.

                          This is a direct Harassment from tata group I would like to suggest you provide service and gain customers.

                          I want to be a part of tata family but now I would be writing it on each consumer sight and everywhere as your people directly hurt my image also my feelings.

                          No one from your retention team thought that why suddenly customer had stopped paying suddenly or what we could do to retain customer are they only concerned with salaries not with company revenue.

                          I would suggest you to shut down your outlet at Rampur greater noida coz these guys they do not know anything also not meeting requirements of customers.

                          Sir, if you are concerned of customer satisfaction please look into issue as I paid bill also my device as faulty.

                          Also please note I would be displaying this letter to various social sites also to consumer sites line consumercourt.in.

                          Please note as your team has badly insulted me and my feelings I being a customer I would be going to customer forum also to TRAI as not I want justice.

                              this is sankar lal banerjee from kalyani....i have tata indicom landline (no:[protected])...caller tune have been activted long ago without my permission.and money is deducting continuously... i informed the dealer from where i tokk the connection but they said that they coudnt do anything about it..... i tried to the customer care...but no response i have till now from their side.
                              i will be highly obliged if this matter is taken care and solved as soon as possible..

                                MySelf Nitin Jain.I returned my parsec machine to "Arise Telecom" on[protected]. I didn't get my security amout of rs 5000/- till now.The distributer says to me that i get all my amount atlast in six months but i didn't get it in one year.I want my security back as soon as possible with late fees and interest from your department thats all.Thats why i submit my complaint on this website and raise this issue.

                                  This is concerning my Tata Indicom prepaid no [protected]. I had earlier subscribed to a daily data pack of Rs.5 on my number which is not subject to autorenewal according to information provided in your website. Now on alternate days, Rs.5 is being deducted from my balance for the data pack. Worse, I am not able to deactivate the pack through usual recourse of SMS or USSD and deduction of balance continues unabated.

                                  I am not asking for a refund since I have used the service in these days but do deactivate the data pack now and confirm the same.

                                  Balance deducted again with Rs.5 even after posting complaint here. This time I should be seeking a refund.
                                  Balance deducted again at midnight, 12:13:42 AM when there is no way I could have send the SMS for activating data pack as the phone was switched off.

                                  Please stop posting copy-paste replies here as it serves none and take up the matter in right seriousness. You are expected to credit back the amount deducted through this unfair/illegal way from unsuspecting customers at the earliest. Otherwise I will be left with no option but to bring this nefarious activity to the notice of proper authorites and port away.
                                  Balance deducted by Rs.5 again today at 12:09:10 AM.
                                  Rs.20 deducted so far after this complaint was posted here.

                                  Your reassurances sound hollow and serves none.

                                    Sir,
                                    We are using Tata Indicom Broadband Connection for past 1 years. My Login id is [protected]@vsnl.net, For past 6 months we are not getting frequent broadband connection, We used to make compliant and we are getting reply from customer care as "Server Down". I do not know such a big company running successfully in India, why they can't rectify the problem and bring a permanent solution, whenever i call customer care [protected] they use to say "Server Down". This is waste of money please find a permanent solution and fix it or else refund my cash.

                                      I have recharged my Tata Photon within due date and the recharge was shown as successful. However to my surprise the recharge has not been credited to my photon account and moreover my accumulated balance of 6966 MB have also been forfeited by the company. I have made a complaint but I am being shuffled. On Friday I spoke to their Nodal Office and some lady assured me that she will call by evening and let me know the status. No reply back. Today again I have spoken to Ms. Neha at their Nodal office and she has asked for eight more days. I have lost a lot for my photon being off for these several days.
