My mother-in-law, Mrs. S. Ambujam, who lives alone at Srirangam, Tiruchirapalli Dt. was having a Tata Indicom Land line connection (Tel. No.[protected] for the last many years. Due to poor service by the Tata Teleservices and battery problems, she decided to surrender the instrument.
When we approached the staff to surrender, the company staff resisted to take back the connection and with great difficulty, we convinced them and surrendered the Landline instrument with the Charger to the local Tata indicom dealer [M/s Cell World, Trichy] in good condition vide Tata Teleservices Rt. No. 100126 dated 19th March 2011. At that time, the dealer asked us to pay a final settlement amount of Rs. 618 and accordingly we made the payment, vide Tata Teleservices Rt.No. TN/CA 415021 dated 19th March 2011. When we asked about the return of the deposit amount of Rs. 1000, the dealer said, the amount will be returned by Tata Teleservices Ltd. by way of cheque within a month. Now around 5 months are completed, but so far she has not received any amount from the company. She reminded them many times, and lodged complaints to the company but all in vain.
Since, I already had a very bad experience with the Tata Teleservices Ltd., Chennai when I was having a Landline instrument, I am forced to write this complaint about the treatment given to the customers, by Tata Teleservices Ltd.
Through this column, I am confident that the company would immediately return the deposit amount fully, as we have fully settled every thing,

Sir,I have submitted my document proof for changing the billing address on 27..07.09 to tataindicom customer care noida Sector-12 but no action has been taken after so many reminders.
