I had one mobile handset of TATA Indicom company. The purchased the handset with sim card from their dealer in Dharavi. After one and half year I lost the handset. I made call from the public phone to find the handset. Somebody had the name of Manoj was used my handset. I requested him to return the handset to me. But he denied. I reported the matter to the customer care of TATA Indicom. The company did nothing to get my handset. Simply they cancelled the sim card.
I Mrs VARSHA SHAH has recently installed your tata indicom combo plan of DS207 15 days ago through executive Mr SANTOSH([protected]) and the engineer Mr UDAYRAJ([protected]) and our a/c no is[protected] and our telephone no is[protected]
I opted your plan by our brand name but i was distressed by your employees as they promised as according our needs.We said them to install the telephone line in the drawing room and they said yes before installation.But it has been since 15 days and yet we haven't got the installation of telephone in the drawing room and inspite of his fault he is behaving rude with us.And now he is saying no for the installation and asked for the cancellation of the line.
Being frustrated i called up the customer care and they said us to pay Rs 75 for taking the line from bedroom to hall.But we were told that your installation will be free of cost.So why should i bear the amount ?
so i want the solution from you that now what should i do??

    I closed my Tata Indicom connection one year back but still I have not received my deposit amount. My Tata number was [protected].

    I have visited their Shivajinagar and Pimpri-Chinchwad office 4 times since October 2010 and, although they previously told me that they will arrange for the cheque of the deposit amount, they now have no idea of what should be done. They are now rudely telling that they can't do anything and that money won't be refunded !!!

    This is the most pathetic customer service I have ever experienced.

    By now whoever have taken connection from Tata Indicom would have known that this is the worst telecom provider with worst customer service in India.

    TATA Indicom — Refund Money of Deposit

    Dear Customer Care,
    Tata Indicom.

    This is regarding PCO deposit money refund, which is I am not getting after so many assurance from your team.
    I have submit all the accessories to Dealer in October 2009 but he has submitted on 31/12/2010 and my connection was disconnected on 24/04/2010 as per records.

    I got the TAT to get this Refund with in 45 days after 24th April. But no progress, So I logged a complaign[protected] and again got the assurance till 19th June.
    But today is 65th Day and whenver I am asking to customer care, they replied that request is in under progress but I am not getting my money back.

    So requesting you to resolve this issue ASAP.

    Thats the attitude that all Tata Indicom customer care people have. No single person in Customer Care understands or even try to understand the grievance of the customer. They simply say nothing can be done, no dues remaining, no refund applicable etc etc.

    Just yesterday I spoke to one of your customer care person (Nodal officer Roman - [protected]) and he told me that I have Rs. 673 deposit and the cheque you issued expired and that a new cheque would be issued, but he don't know when it will be issued and who will issue it. This Rs.673 deposit is YET to be refunded.

    It is such a sorry state of Tata Indicom customer care that a customer has to post on public forum like this after visiting their office 4 times and calling customer care atleast 20 times. And everytime we get different answer from different executives.

    TATA Indicom — Refundable Dues

    Sir,
    This is to bring to your notice that I was your customer for more than 1 year. I was using Broadband infinity plan and my userid was [protected]@vsnl.net. The connection was terminated on June 2009 and I received the refundable amount through check. But the payee name on check was wrong. So I redeposited the check at your head office in Ulta danga (Kolkata). Till now I have not received the corrected check. I deposited the check in December 2010. Kindly look into the matter.

      Hi, I have a tata photon plus connection (Account[protected]. The bill got generated on 5th April and they disconnected my internet without informing me on 7th April. Due date for this was 22nd April. When I called to customer service, they told me that I had exceeded credit limit by 200-300 Rs. Atleast if my mobile was registered, they would have called me and asked me to pay in a day.Even after paying, I had to call 4-5 times customer care to restore my service. I have not expected this kind of customer service.

      I am very very frustrate from the service of TATA INDICOM. I AM HATING IT. I PURCHASED ONE NUMBER ON TATA INDICOM 15 DAYS BACK, I PAID 700 RS TO DELAR AND STILL IT IS NOT ACTIVATED. THE DEALER IS ABUSIVE AND HE HAS TAKEN MONEY AND NOW HE IS SAYING THAT IT IS NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY IF NUMBER WORKS OR NOT. I WNT TO LAUNCH COMPLAIN, ITS REALLY FRUSTRATING, MY TIME AND MONEY IS WASTED AND DEALER IS ABUSIVE, I NEED MY MONEY BACK, IS THIS THE WAYS CONSUMERS ARE TREATED IN INDIA, HOW BAD AND RUDE, I WNT TO LAUNCH COMPLAIN AGAINST THE DEALER FROM WHERE WE PURCHASED THIS CARD, THIS DEALER IS IN TEGORE GARDEN EXT, D BLOCK NEW DELHI 110027, SIKH PERSON AND HIS NUMBER IS[protected].       The reply from Tata Indicom customer care seems very generic. This also reflects their callous attitude towards the customer. I have put a complaint regarding disconnection of my internet before due date and without giving even a days time to pay. Also after payment, it took more than 24 hours for getting my connection back and for that also I had to call customer care and followup for four times. will they return my time and money spent on calling them and compensate for my inconvenience????

        My name is Ms Verinder Uppal. account No.[protected]. My Tata Indicom walky instrument is down for more than 6 months now. It was in warranty when it got defective. After lodging lot of complaints with nodal officer they sent an engineer with a normal wired phone as a replacement which was of no use to us... when we contacted company we were told engineer will come with wireless phone. But sadly even after six months no action has been taken so far by the company. On top of it, they keep sending me bill with telephone rentals..... This is height of insensitivity on their part. I want to take legal action against them... I want to teach them a lesson.... Money is not an issue..it am fighting for PRINCIPLES...

        Tata Indicom Walky — Defective instrument

        My Tata Indicom walky instrument is replaced several times in last 2 months and every time its replaced with a refurbished instrument that either has a problem with the instrument or battery or charger.

        I had logged complaint on their customer care (121) several times. They only respond after you call and bang them couple of times.
        I had spoken to Nodal officer and also spoken to area manager. The instrument was replaced two weeks back with another faulty instrument. I have been calling these people since then ( this person called Harendra Sharma, phone - [protected]) and he keeps on promising that the issue will be resolved today but nobody turns up at my home.
        Worst ever service provider of the nation!

        Hi,
        I had complained with my tata insrument so many times i had logged complain and even chat with nodal officer also. But no proper response from them after 2-3 times when i requested they send their engineers but all of them was unable to find the root cause of instrument.

        Very very bad experience with tata.
        Can you please let me know about the current status of my compliant?
        My complaint is still not resolved. The instrument which was sent along with your person was not the same model which has gone faulty. Your representative has seen the faulty instrument and knows which model is indeed needed. Kindly get the faulty instrument replaced at the earliest, else refund the entire amount paid by me.
        I do not understand your behaviour. Is it your another way of harrasment?? Kindly refund my money and take back your faulty instrument immediately. I do not want to deal with a cheating company like you, which is so insensitive and unprofessional.

          We are a private ltd. company situated in Pirangut near Pune. We had 34 Post paid connections from Tata Indiacom for last 4 to 5 years. After Mobile Number Portability facility we decided to port our connections to Idea Cellular. (Mobile No. [protected] Port code : TZ 255345 Date approx 27.02.2011)
          After applying for Port code, it was provided by Indicom Promptly, but actual porting was allowed only for 33 nos. They said they did not allow one number ([protected]) because there were dues balance. After clearing the dues we once again applied for new port code. Again New port code (TZ 658998 Date: 12.03.2011) was provided by Tata Indicom. After submission of this code by Idea Cellular, it was again declined saying this port code was inaccurate.
          Tata Indicom asked us to pay additional amount and apply again for the port code. After doing this we got a new port code again (TZ 141368 Date: 15.04.2011). The same story repeats and Tata Indicom does not recognise the Port code.
          We are in a problem as only this number is out of our Closed User Group. Tata Indicom is not co-operating to resolve this problem.

              I have recharged my Tata Photon+ number [protected] with Rs. 700.00 (Rupees Seven Hundred Only) yesterday at approximately 1 pm online through my SBI Titabar Branch against Ref. No. IG45906834.
              I have contacted Tata Photon customer care yesterday after the transaction was done, I was said that it will take 24 hrs. to complete the process. But now the said time was expired and I contacted again to the said company but they refused to resume my service at an early date before 6th April, 2011.

              I found this sentence ridiculous as I have already paid the sum to the said company for the Internet Service for my said Tata Photon number.

              So, in this case I request you to kindly take the appropriate and necessary action t an early date.

                i have a tataindicom prepaid mobile number and I am using this mobile number since 1.5 years. and my problem is that i have given photo, id proof -, address proof (like Voter Id Card) as transfer order copy. but the retailer has not submitted My documents to tataindicom. he submitted wrong id proof for my mobile number. in case my mobile number will block or my mobile will lost. so i can't take this number again because of id proof problem. so this the big problem for me.I have wide range of contacts through this number.
                So please help me how can i submit my original document to tata indicom.
                please help me please help me. i will always great full to you.

                    I had a mobile number [protected] since July 2005 as prepaid connection , in the month of December 2010 tata indicom disconnected my phone number without any notice or info. I requested and made nearly 8 calls to get it connected . it was done ,

                    then suddenly on 11th January 2011 my line went dead , I inquired why was that I was told by Customer cars that it was address verification issue and i had to go to sector 18 branch to sort it out , there i got to know it was not related to address issue rather bulk massages , now I was told I should visit there main unit in okhla phase 3 opp modi mill , where the lady who is dealing in such cases not even visited me , I was not even treated as a customer and on intercom this lady said that nothing can be done as bulk massage for commercial use is not allowed , I requested them to at least had given me any kind of information regarding it during selling there bulk sms packages , she denied it and said nothing can be done and i have to live without that number .
                    they offered me no help , simply they said this number can not be opened , but for corporate customers they do that , because much more is at stake with them , and not with individual customers . and finally they market there image as customer oriented company .

                    Tata Indicom Phone — Cut the connection of phone

                    I have tata phone.i converted it to pre paid to post paid.yhey have varified the address and all details, then given me the connection.after 2 days theiy have cutted the line .i called the customercare number[protected].they said that address is not varified .i asked them to come and verify it again, they responded very badly.i donot know what to do.i am planning to go to consumer forum.i[censored] take initiative i donot have to do that.

                      the above is the copy of that part of my tata indicom phone bill phone no.[protected] for which im fruadulently chrged for the mobile number [protected] which is AIRTEL Delhi number and tata indicom is charging me for the number belonging to the country o[censored]AE in the same bill.i put a complaint to Tata indicom with the refrence number 351995 and i have been promised for the resolving of this issue within 24 hrs.but this is not the first time im being charged wrongly.in last 3-4 bills i have been submitting complaints for wrong billing imposed on me. it is creating a havoc on my mental peace. please take a strict action against the service provider of tata indicom for such worng biilings.

                        While we have visited TATA INDICOM's Salt Lake office on 05th Aug '2010 the cheque towards refund of Security deposit was not ready from their end & representative has asked for one more month & ensured couriering the cheque to the residential address before 28th of August that is by 4 months from the date of handing over of the set.

                        Now already 10 months (Almost 300 days) has been completed since we handed over the set & also visited TATA INDICOM's office 6 times but without any positive response from their end.

                        even written several e-mails to customer care's several ID.

                        Request help arrange to send the same to the applicants residential address at the earliest.

                          Dear Sir,


                          On the first week of March 2011, I [Ujjwal Kumar Ghosh] had received a phone call from the customer service desk of TATA Teleservices Ltd, offering me a scheme [for promo package offer of Rs 1299/-] for TATA Walky Handset and as I was interested in I, I had requested them to send their authorized official sales person to my residence address: 14K SHANTI GHOSH STREET, BAGH BAZAR, KOLKATA-700 003. On that very same day, a Person named Mr. Swarup [Mob: [protected]] had visited my residence. Mr. Swarup had then conveyed that the promo scheme was for Rs 1399/- and not Rs 1299/- . As it is I was interested in the scheme, I had taken the offer. But I was not provided any Money Receipt by Mr. Swarup for the payment of Rs 1399/- which I had made to him for purchase of the scheme.

                          At that point of time, Mr. Swarup gave me another offer that together with this Rs 1399/- if I buy another TATA Indicom Mobile Set a sum of Rs 900/- alongwith one SIM Rs 100/- then from that TATA Indicom connention I can make unlimited FREE calls to 2 (two) TATA Indicom Mobile number on ZERO Rental monthly basis. As I even liked this offer I had enrolled my name for the same.

                          Hence I was provided the following numbers for both the phoned which I had taken as below:

                          For the TATA Walky Handset [for which I had initially made the payment of Rs 1399/-] the number allotted to me was:[protected]
                          For the TATA Indicom Mobile Set [ for which I had paid Rs 900/- extra] the number allotted to e was:[protected]



                          But on the succeeding week, when I visited the Official Office of TATA Indicom [Ultadanga Outlet], I was made to understand, by the desk officer, that the offer provided to me by Mr. Swarup was completely fictitious and was not in existence. According to the desk officer, this was a completely fraud case. They replied we are not providin any offer for Zero rental monthly basis and it is actualy Rs 149/- on monthly basis and we do not have such a scheme which is unlimited free calls in 2 (two) number of TATA INDICOM. Strange?



                          But my concern here is, if at all the above stated two offers was a case of mis-selling and a fraudulent activity happening to me then please specify, how come the two above stated numbers [For the TATA Walky Handset[protected] & For the TATA Indicom Mobile Set[protected]], get activated and how come I have received a Welcome Letter from Tata Teleservices Ltd, duly signed off by the “Chief Operating Officer”?

                          Adding up to my amazement, the desk officer at Ultadanga Office had completely denied the entire incident [starting from me receiving a call from the customer care desk of Tata Teleservice Ltd, to the fact a person named Mr. Swarup, who is supposed to be an “authorized official sales person “ from Tata Teleservices Ltd visiting my residence, and even the two allotted numbers [[protected] &[protected]] getting duly activated and me receiving a welcome letter from the “Chief Operating Officer” of Tata Teleservices Ltd.


                          Moreover the desk officer at Ultadanga Office had got the audacity to tell me that if I don’t leave their office premises, then they would be compelled to throw me out by their Armed Security Guard, inspite of the fact, that I was having a normal discussion with them.


                          Owing to these rapid incidences occurring, I was so very stressed and dis-satisfied, that on the 16th March, 2011, I had visited the Park Street Branch Office of Tata Teleservice Ltd and have surrendered both the above stated connections. Inspite of the fact that this step of mine have made me suffer a monitory loss of Rs 2299/- [Rs 1399/- + Rs 900/- +Rs 100/-], which would not get credited back to me.



                          I am seriously amazed and dis-heartened to see the service provided to the consumers and the mis-selling happening in the marketing of the product for Tata Teleservice Ltd. I would be deeply indebted if you kindly take some necessary steps in relation to the customer service standards and the mis-transparency in the marketing of the Tata Tele products so some other person can be saved this embarrassment and harassment.

                          TATA Indicom — frauds by tata indicom sales person

                          I had purchased Tata Indicom Whiz and since then I am getting the following problems :

                          1) The salesman (Mr. Ankit at Tata Indicom, Y N Road, Indore) gave me the device for 2450 INR with 2 months free period. But later I was charged for the second month. On my enquiry, I found out that the device with one month free costs 1700 INR. I also filed a complaint (number [protected]) but that also didn't work and still I find myself fighting for the balance amount. Mr Ankit now left the job and I suppose he ran away with my balance amount.

                          2) After around a month my device stopped working and I filed another complain (number [protected]). Your engineer told me that device's hardware is not working. Although, my problem has not been solved till today still there's is not a call from customer care asking for the same issue if solved or not. If device is not working for around 2-3 months how can I be charged for the same?

                          3) Too disgusted and disheartened with the services, I decided upon disconnecting my connection and on your salesperson's advice (at Tata Indicom, Appolo Square, Indore) I gave them an application for disconnection on 24th December 2009. Relying on Tata Indicom staff, I considered my internet disconnected (could not test it as my device also was not working). On February 18th my connection was finally disconnected.

                          Now, your staff asks me to pay bill of about 2282 INR. And I received a mail ordering me to pay my bill in 7 days or there would be a court case. But, I suppose I should get a fair compensation.

                          After such a bad experience I would recommend people never to switch to any services of tata indicom and I myself now prefer using internet and other services of other telecom companies. Hope you will help in improving my experience.

                          Kindly look into the matter and help me getting the required compensation.

                          TATA Indicom | Walky — Non reciept of walky inspite of initial payment

                          My name is vishal thaker. i had applied for tata walky on 9th september 2010. the executive had said that if you pay cash the connection will be installed within 3 days. Also due to ganesh chaturthi it will take 2 days additional. hence the connection will be on 15th septmeber 2010

                          the connection was not installed. i went to inquire about the same in tata indicoms borivali customer support office. please note the sequence of events.

                          1. the executive said to put up a complaint with its nodal office
                          (16th september 2010) - morning

                          2. the nodal office(call centre executive rahul) said to visit the borivali office again (16th september 2010) - afternoon

                          3. the manager said that the walky is out of stock and hence the application has not been entered into system. he asked for two days of time and still no response - evening. Four days have passed on still no response

Mr. LUCKY had then conveyed that the promo scheme was for Rs 600/- and not Rs 500/- . As it is I was interested in the scheme, I had taken the offer. But I was not provided any Money Receipt by Mr. LUCKY for the payment of Rs 600/- which I had made to him for purchase of the scheme.

                          At that point of time, Mr. LUCKY gave me another offer that together with this Rs 600/- if I buy another TATA Indicom Mobile Set a sum of Rs 500/- alongwith one SIM Rs 100/- then from that TATA Indicom connention I can make unlimited FREE calls to 2 (two) TATA Indicom Mobile number on ZERO Rental monthly basis.                             Dear Tata indicom,

                            Recently in hyderabad at Khan latif khan estate i approached tata indicom for new OMH card, but they told me that since last one month out of stock.When i coming out of the customer care, one of security of tata indicom asked me to wait so that they can sell in black.I was surprised with this.Even i arugued with tata indicom people there who is also involved in this.

                            I was disappointed with this.

                            I am not sure why tata indicom not interested in customers.

                            One thing they learned newly " We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you".

                            I called customer care than also same message.Not sure when they will have OMH cards.

                                  I was having Tata Indicom Walky (No [protected]), which I closed in Nov, 2009. The connection was closed and Handset was collected after 2-3 months in Mar,2010. I was told that my refund payment will be processed soon.

                                  However I am yet to receive any refund on this connection. I have made multiple complaints/requests with customer care and Nodal Officers, and every time I am promised that issue will be resolved within 2-3 days, but nothing happens

                                    We had activated the plan of 16 MB on 2 nd March, as the speed was not as per the commitment we had de-activated it . In between days your engineers came & worked to increase the speed of net but it was invain & by the end of 3 rd March our line is deactivated. Later Days persons from tata came for the feedback for deactivation.
                                    On 9 th March Bajrang Gupta & Mr. Riyaz came & checked , activated the line & done speed test of 16 MB.But we refuse to activated the line as we were not interested to continue .That time we had surendred the Modem, Telephone & lane connected wire & power supply.
                                    Now the Phone call from tata co. is coming saying the payment of bill, which was deactivated. ( we don’t know how it was activated & huge bill is coming every month).
                                    We had call to tata to de-activate the line but they said that we accept this only by your mail & not on phone call. We had mail the detail to de-activate & there is no mail saying from our side for the activation of line.
                                    On 9 th March withour prior notice ( without our complaint & requirement ) person Mr. Bajranj Gupta came & activated the line without our permission saying that we are doing speed test.
                                    For every changes tata do not accept on call, every time we have to mail, than now in above case who is responsible that we had not mail regarding any complaint & your executive came & activated the line.
                                    From 27 th Feb to 9 th March whatever work done that is done by your executives & not by us,
                                    For that you can check our A/c details.
                                    We had courier all our details & also Fax the things about the problem we are facing from last 12 months.
                                    Bcoz of this we can not take new plan as we have a requirement.
                                    Please give us solution to our problem we are facing . THANKING YOU,

                                      Hi I am Rema from Kerala . I was using tataindicom datacard from 2009 april to 2010 (internet telephone no [protected]).in chennai . I have not been able to use the net connection since Jan 2010 and this was also brought to their notice . When I enquired, customer care guys told that they were asked to disconnect the number and hence blocked by someonelse. The response from tataindicom service end was very poor.They didn't even turn up to solve the issue till now. But evey month they were sending me the bill. why should I pay the bill for a blocked number? Till december I have done the payment.Even for that Jan month payment they can deduct from the initial deposit and permanently disconnect.Keep on sending me the mail for the bill payment. Without using any internet why should I pay the bill for a blocked number

                                        Last year I took a reliance broadband advance rental connection (A/c No[protected] for which I placed a disconnection request on 22 Sept, 2010 and I got a confirmation mail from Mumbai Nodal Officer on 26th Sept that my connection will be disconnected within 7 working days and i have to pay a 7 days extra bill on pro-rata basis.

                                        As it was advance rental 4 month plan, and I paid amount in advance, so I am not supposed to pay anything at the end. But I am liable to pay extra amount on pro-rata basis as suggested by Mumbai nodal officer.

                                        As per their reply, my broadband was disconnected on 1st October, 2010 and docket number for the same is[protected].

                                        But after that I am repeatedly getting calls to pay a bill of broadband.

                                        In every call I tell gave them the request number[protected], according to which my broadband was disconnected.

                                        Now I took new broadband from TATA with account number[protected] and after two days they suspended its line.

                                        I called out customer care & I came to knew that in order to continue I have to pay my previous broadband connection bill of 1800/-. After continuous discussion, customer care told me that it is not a broadband bill, its a landline bill which I have to pay. I never used that landline. And then they told me that I had to put separate request for disconnecting a landline, which they have not mentioned anywhere.

                                        On their work-order also, they have mentioned customer care number as - [protected] and they have not mentioned any different number for landline.

                                        Customer care agreed that due to some issue from their side, the bill was not delivered to me.

                                        I am harassed from the service they have provided. I & my wife do some part-time work on internet and we had suffered a lot by their discontinued services.

                                        What TATA does is that while giving a broadband connection, it gives a free landline connection also- which they says is necessary. Landline provides free incoming and paid outgoing. They provide broadband, modem and landline under one account number- & my account number was[protected].

                                        As I placed a request for disconnecting account number[protected], so they should have disconnected my landline also as every stuff they provide comes under single account number.

                                        Now I am really helpless, as they are forcing me to pay the outstanding landline un-liable bill otherwise they will not start the suspended line.

                                        Please help me !

                                        None of TATA executive have arrived me to collect braodband accessories that you people provided.
                                        I am not going to take care of all stuff you had given at the time of giving broadband connection. Its your responsibility to collect everything.

                                        At last I want you to start my new tata broadband connection with account number[protected].

                                        I am not liable to pay amount of 1800/- which you are putting wrongly. It was all due to your mis-management. If customer have given a request for disconnecting the broadband then you should disconnect everything you provide with that broadband, whether its landline, wireless or anything.
                                        Please ask your executive to collect old phone & modem from me too.

                                        We usually get automated replies here, no one actually checks it!
                                        This website is of least usage.
