    My log in ID is [protected]@rediffmail.com. since few months i am facing with irregular connection. Strangely connection is not there throughout morning and afternoon but comes in night. i have regularly informed the problem at the helpline. but it is still unattended. i have asked them many times to send their technicians to my place for verification but it has remained unheard. It really hurts to get such kind of service being an old customer and had paid good amounts to it. kindly if you could look into the matter.

    TataIndicom — Service Problem

    Hi
    I am Narsimha Rao, i stays at Hyderabad,india.

    I have purchased a new TataIndicom connection,
    barring number[protected].

    It works for one month with out any problem,
    after one month i am facing problem, I can't able to make call to other then the customer care (i am able to call postpaid customer service) even i am not able to call prepaid customer care.

    i have given a complaint from a public telephone booth, they have registered my complaint. but till now they have resolved my problem.

    after few days i visited their Customer service center, they are saying that you mobile is having problem, purchase new mobile you have good offers.

    one thing i didn't understood if i have problem with my mobile how can i make a call to the postpaid customer service center.

    after giving the complaint also i am not able to make a call to any one using my tataindicom mobile.

    It is minimum curtsy to contact me on other phone line which i have mentioned while i am taking connection.

    TATA Indicom — Mobile not working

    My Mobile no. is [protected] not working since last 4 day's. and I complain it in custmer care so, many times but still no result came. Even I twice visited in Noida Service Centre but no body taking responsibility.
    No Body knows why it's not working .
    This is too much. Even you can not contect to Customer Care No. [protected].

    TATA Indicom Connection — Mobile not working

    I have a TATA Indicom Connection No. [protected]. It's purchase in a schme that Incomming Free for two year and tata to tata local Rs. 2000 Talktime. But after one year dt 09.10.07 it's not working . I am trying to contact custmer care but still not connect. I am mail 6 times in 2 day's. but still no result came. Now what I do for solve my problem ? If any body can help me ?

    tatindicom — non working mobile

    This mobile work only at roads. this mobile has various problem say call disconnect, Call failed , mobile busy tone even if it is free. when we try to service center 121 the no. given by tata. It does not connect, if get connected then we get message we are doing software upgradation sorry for inconvienience and the mbile diconnected. the worst thing which happen to me is that on the same day imet with an accident and iwas not able to make call from my mobile. If we can not use our mobile in emergency then what is the use of having mobile.if you are lucky then you will get connected with customer care executive then he will ask for all details after taking details he will say our systems are under software upgradation i will not be able to tell anything right now. Pls. call again later. The worst thing which happen to me is they dsconnected my mobile w/o intimation. I have logged complaint for all the abovesaid problems but no one turned from the company, instead of resolve my problems they are calling on my alternate mobile no. for payment recovery amount Rs, 1160. Its corporate account and i dont think its huge amount. Iam not satisfied withthe service provided by tata indicom. If tataindicom is not able provide services why we should pay them rentals. Iam fedup with services. All claims regarding better network and better connectivity are false. TRAI should have some law so that comon man should not suffer.

    We have purchased one Tata Indicom Post Paid connection [protected] to launch the complaint at HP Customer Care having Telephone no[protected]. As we are the distributor & Service Provider of HP/Compaq in this region. currently we were launching complaint by Airtel / Reliance on[protected] toll free no. We have taken the connection on[protected] but till date dispite of launching the complaint no solution is provided. The customer care have given us the complaint no. 93592245 and giving an irresponsible reply that the number will not work from this number. This number is properly working from your Walky and all other service providers. He don't expect this reply from your customer care. They are still unable to resolve our problem. We are regularily making followup to your local office and there is no resuly yet. Kindly check whether the no will work or not. If it is not possible we will be bound to make the disconnection which i feel is not good for the brand name like TATA.

    TATA INDICOM BROADBAND SERVICES — POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORTAND CHEATING BY COMPANY

    I have been using Tata Indicom broadband services (VSNL) for quite long time. Ever since I got subscribed to VSNL, I faced with the problem of blockage of my Internet surfing facility even if I have the account balance more than 20% of tarriff plan. This has been going on since 2 years and every time I complaint to customer care, they close the complaint from their end without any confirmation from my end. I am forced to use dialup connection inspite of having sufficient balance (15% of Rs. 1200.00) and an anticipatory renewal plan in queue. The customer care is not responding to any mail, any phone calls and not sending their field engineers to attend our complaint.

    I have applied for TATA Indicom connection last to last week and still nothing has been done so far.
    Can anyone please suggest which is the best internet service provider in Pune - Pimple saudagar area.
    The Pune city is far behind Mumbai as compared to service providing facilities and it takes a toll on the customer to get the right thing.

    I have a very bad experience with TATA Indicom custimer service associates. They are dumb and are not able too provide the correct information.
    Avoid TATA INDICOM BROADBAND. They have not returned my four month's advance even after 1 year .They are cheats

    You keep on making phone calls and they only give you complaint numbers and nothing else.
    Go for internet from your local cable operators like EXATTNET .They are local people and can help you immediately in case of any problem.

    I have baught a haier c3010 on 14 september 2008 then it gets out of order on 19 september 2008.I gave it to indicom customercare.they gave back my mobile on 11 october 2008 and still it is not working.

    Tata Indicom Broadband — bROADBAND NOT WORKING PROPERLY

    I WAS USING DIAL UP CONNECTION FOR A LONG TIME AND SWITCHED OVER TO TATA INDICOM BROAD BAND 8 MONTHS BACK.
    FIRST ONE MONTH IT WAS WORKING VERY FINE. AFTER THAT IT STARTED GIVING TROUBLE.INVARIABLY IT WILL GO OUT OF OREDER ON FRIDAY.IF I LODGE A COMPLAINT THEY WILL SAY IT WILL BE ATTENDED IN 24 HRS TIME.SUNDAY THEY DO NOT DO ANY THING MONDAY THEY WILL SAY SOME STORIES AND FINALY IT WILL BE RECTIFIED THURSDAY / FRIDAY.
    THIS IS HAPPENING ALMOST ONCE IN 15 DAYS.
    30 DAYS BACK THEY TOLD ME TO CHANGE MY ETERNET CARD I ALSO DID WITH OUT ANY IMPROVEMENT. I CHECKED MY CARD AND FOUND TO BE IN ORDER. I LOST RS 250 /- OVER AND ABOVE THE INTERNET CONNECTION CHARGES.
    IT WAS RECTIFIED AFTER 5 DAYS.
    AGAIN AFTER 10 DAYS SAME PROBLEM THEY CHANGED THE MODEM. IT WAS FINE FOR 10 DAYS.
    AGAIN FAILED ON 11.11.08 TILL DATE THERE IS NO RESPONCE FROM THEM.
    PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE PROCEDURE TO GO TO CONSUMER FORUM FOR REFUND OF MY SUBSCRIPTION AMOUNT SO THAT I CAN HAVE ANOTHER BRAND CONNECTION

    TATA Indicom — Internet access not provided

    I applied for Tata indicom net connection and availed USB modem after full payment, from their executive. They promised that account will be activated with in 24 hours of verification. Even after one week my account has not been activated. Worse is none of the concerning persons are taking up my calls. I here fore complain on misguiding the customer and mentally harassing me with poor services.

    TATA Indicom Broadband Services — No response on Account Settlement & Refunds

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I had taken my TataIndicom Broadband connection on 03rd Jan 2007, and enjoyed the service till 22nd December 2009. On 22nd December 2009, I had received a written communication from TataIndicom saying, the connection will be discontinued due to some internal problems of TataIndicom.

    Same letter was also stating that, the account will be settled within 90 days time and the necessary refunds will be done from TataIndicom side before 90 days timeline. In this regard, I made many calls and did lots of e-mails exchange with their customer care to initiate and finalize the said activities.

    Unfortunately I have not seen any kind of proactive measures taken from TataIndicom side.

    In this regard, as I had already conveyed to TataIndicom through their Customer Care Personnel, if they are not making the final settlement and refunds and sending me the cheque on or before 22nd March 2009, I will be forced to go to the Consumer Court.

    Still no response from them.

    In this regard, I am seeking your help to solve the problem and get me the justice.

    TATA Indicom Broadband Services — Internet not working

    Hi,

    I have been facing big time trouble with my tata indicom broadband account. I have been continuously submitting the complaints that Link light is not coming up and no action has been taken on them yet.

    The complaint # 9335400 was lodged on 01/04/09 and it was closed without any action been taken on it. The second complaint # 9342752 was lodged on 02/04/09 and even it was closed without taking any appropriate action. after contacting the customer care it was told that field engineer Mr.Manmeet (Tel # [protected]) has worked on the complaints and resolved them and informed the customer.

    I never received any call or email from Tata communications and Mr. Manmeet is one of the weakest link in Tata`s customer service. He always closes the complaint without even looking at them.It has happened before with me and few of my friends as well. Lots of them have already switched over to another provider.

    The customer care keeps the customer on hold for ages and never passes the call to supervisor or managers.

    Another complaint # 9352436 was submitted on 03/04/09 which was escalated to supervisor after I refuse to disconnect the call from my side.Mr jasmeet who is the floor supervisor committed that issue would be resolved in 6 hrs.Nothing happened to thatcommittment as well.

    I called again on 04/04/09 and talked to Mr. Ahmed who is the floor manager and was assured that engineer would surely visit and issue would be resolved today itself. The engineer visited and told that wire is burnt and it will take time, they won’t be able to do it right away. After I called back again the call was transferred to Ms Divya who’s also a floor manager who again assured that issue would be resolved. I received a call from the technical department informing me that they don’t have the wire and if I could supply them the wire they will work on it. Now a customer needs to take care of all the accessories and material required by tata broadband.

    I called back again and talked to Mr. Ahmed who said the engineers are working on the issue and it would be resolved by 7-7:30pm.The issue was still not resolved.

    The nodal officer’s phone is either engaged or no one picks it. Once in a blue moon if someone picks the phone they disconnect it right away without even saying hello.

    This thing has been going on for too long and someone needs to raise the voice in public Interest.

    On 21st May-2009 mine internet Stopped working, and despite of making a number of Follow up no one looked into it: To top of it of their back end team person actually threatened me for making complaints:

    I wanted Broadband connection. I enquired at Tata Indicom. They told me it is physible in my area and physibility study is done for the request. I was told that by the last weekend of June, I will have broadband working at my place. With that commitment, I made the payment. Broadband is still not installed at my place. When I called yesterday, I was told that service is not available in my area. I have not got my money back. I have been trying to reach Tata Indicom executive who tool the payment from me, He is not picking up my call. I don't know what to do now.

    Tataindicom Broadband Internet — not provided with internet connection

    I had regestered for tata broadband internet at 17 july 2009 and they told us that they would provide connection within three days.The anothere day a man came for verification and the third day two company men came and installed all wires and told that we are failing to get connection due to some cable problem.they assured us that they will solve the problem within four days and provide with connection.The four days have now turned to 16 days but there no response.We had also lodge complaint on there costomer care phone number and they told that you will be provided with service within 48 hours but still no one came.Im am very dissapointed with there service and therefore i am force to lodge this complain with hopes that you will take a stric action against there service.Thankyou

    Tata Indicom Broadband — CHEATING on FACE

    Hi All,

    I have been a proud Tata broadband user for past 1.5 years and used to recommend people about it, but since last six months I am having a nightmare with their services. Tata's services has taken a big fall, their customer care is the most pathetic I have ever seen. People with IQ less than 50 I guess and the capability to irritate you to the core. Following are the issues I witnessed with them.

    1. Limit on UNLIMITED Plan: When I took the connection, I was mentioned that it was an unlimited download plan. During the first month of my usage, I got a call that I am about to reach my upper limit of download and I should upgrade to higher plan. On explaining that I have an unlimited plan, I came to know that TATA has a fair usage policy according to which there is an upper limit on all plans and no such plan is unlimited. 1st instance of cheating: Not telling about the policy at the time of taking up the connection. Issue not resolved, had to put a check on my speed to limit the download. Accepting the policy, but seriously disgusted with the dirty tactic used.

    2. Charging for Static IP: The installer came to my house and told that I can have static IPs for different PCs for free. I was happy with the offer and took static IPs. 5 months later TATA charges me Rs 2000 plus taxes for Static IP. On raising the issue N number of times, banging heads with customer care callers for hours and days, issue finally resolved.

    3. THE BIGIE, The big fraud and CHEAP act : While taking the Tata connection, the contact person Mr. Madhunendra (from Pune), gave me an offer of paying up for 4 months in advance and having the 5th month free, I was impressed with the offer and paid for 4 months. The payment was done on 27th July and my connection started hence, as per the offer I was not due to pay anything till 27th December. Till the end of 4th month, except the two above issues, it was fine. On 1st Dec I see a bill of 1820 (Charges for one month). On being amazed I called up the customer care and asked for an explanation, this is where the funny story beings. The customer care at that moment tells me that it’s an error in their application and it will be reverted at the end of month of December, on believing their word I accepted. Still I used to get reminder calls every alternate day to pay up the bill, when it told I caller it’s already been discussed I used to get responses like "That is with complaint department, this is billing department, pay the bill first". I used to ask them do u have any communication within you or not, they used to reply shamelessly "No".

    Now to my Horror, on 1st Jan I see a bill of 3640 (charges for 2 months), when raising the issue, I get to hear a brand new story, that the offer is not applicable to my connection as the offer was valid on connections starting from 1st of Aug, i.e. 3 days after my connection started. This was something really pathetic on their part, I tried to contact the person who came to my house for the connection, but again a surprise, his phone was deactivated. Then began a sequence of endless calls and emails from my side to customer care, 90% of them were not answered and rest 10% used to take 30mins at least to understand the issue again. It was getting way to irritating for me to explain the issue again and again when I used to call. I was getting constant reminder calls from TATA for paying I bill, which I obv. Refused to pay. I raised to issue to the nodal officer also, but she was also not of any help. The best part was, they accepted that it was a fault, I asked them few questions which they were not able to answer and still shamelessly asking me to pay the bill.

    1. Why would I pay for 4 months in advance for a postpaid connection?
    2. How did the salesman knew abt the offer in July when it was due to start in Aug?
    3. Why a change in TATA's statements in December and Jan?
    4. Why not contacting the person who came to my house with the offer?
    5. Accepting that there is an issue, then why asking me to pay the bill?

    Also, when I used to get on their nerves for the issue, they used to give me reasons like you have already been reverted 2000 earlier so why asking now, acting like I should be thankful that they did that much bid. Pathetic is the word for TATA people, their attitude is going down the lane like anything. I knew that Reliance used to use such tactics of fooling customers but never expected this from TATA.

    Current status is my connection has been disabled for not paying the bill and no one is answering from TATA end for this issue. They just repeat the old saying of paying the bill. Even after giving them the threat of consumer court, they behaved like goons and replied in a tone like, 'Do what you feel like, we are not bothered'. Seriously SICK attitude. Someone please help me in this regard.

    I am staying at BTM Layout near SBI Micolayout every time i need get out of my room to road when i net to call somebody ... either its not reachable or mid time disconnected...I am just regretting why i have taken tataindicom..

    My internet is not working since the 19th of october 2011. Also when I try and launch a complain via phone they tell me that all their representatives are busy! That too is occuring since the 19th! Kindly look into the matter.

    Tata Broadband — Cheating

    Hi 3 days back i applied for a TATA broad band connection after seeing the advertisment in the local news paper, concerned person came on the same day and after discussion with him i decided to go with unlimited plan+wifi router he took RS 1100 for the Wifi router and he told that by the next day he will come with the device (wifi router) and make the connection

    The next day evening i called him he said he will be there in another 1 hr, from the next time he was not picking my calls.


    Folks any suggestions how to resolve this problem

      Let me introduce myself first, I am Yash Rathi having a TATA Indicom postpaid connection from 4th-May-2008 onwards. I was entitled with a plan of TATA Indicom where my rental charges were 224 INR and 125 INR per month for T2T free in local circle. I was using the plan properly and was happy with the services by TATA till the time i got the mentioned problem.



      On August-08, i got a call from TATA customer care for my feedback on current rental plan, i asked them to provide me some plan that is having Zero value on other mobiles as i am not able to use my Free 150 INR talk-time. They recommended me to use 99 INR plan in which i will be using only incoming benefit, I asked them to provide me the same plan with 125 INR T2T free features. I didn’t get any response from them and got regular bills of previous plan only.



      Now i got a bill for a month of October stated a new monthly plan of 99 INR but they didn’t activated the 125 INR T2T free plan. When if told the customer care people about my problem, they finally asked me that they are just having database of last 15 days so they cannot validate my request and hence I have to pay the bill. Now tell me please:



      I got a wrong commitment from TATA customer care that i will get both of the plans activated, while I received only one plan activated.

      That wrong commitment leads to a hike o[censored]nwanted 1500 INR in my current bill.

      The company is having only 15 days of voice recording [as per customer care], then how can they people activate my new plan without my request approval in written/Voice after 2 months.

      If my issue is not going to sort in next 72 hours, I am going to make a complaint against TATA Indicom in Consumer court of Rajasthan.

      The complaint will be a combination of Wrong commitment in plans and pressurizing me to submit the unbilled wrong amount.

      For this purpose I make many complaints in TATA Indicom customer care, my reference numbers are[protected],[protected].

        PLEASE NOTE I GOT CONNECTION ON 22.10.2008. BUT MY FIRST BILL DATE IS 21.10.2008. THEY BILL THE RENTAL TO ME BEFORE
        INSTALL THE PRODUCT.

        if somebody ask you that who is bad services provider of broadband connection in this world you can say after close your eyes ... tataindicombroadband...
        The worst company to go for a broadband connection. They are fraud and provide poor service. Go for it if you not care for your money and have all the time in this world to register complaints and follow-ups with them.
        yes, really bad, expecially on tata-photon-plus, i used it, suddenly increase to 40000 rupees, imagine how much money u had burnt? use tata if you had lots of money.
        Yes man..this is really the worst broadband service. I also had the same issue. They say that its postpaid connection but they take the advance rental. The pathetic thing is they terminated my service on 9 Oct, 09. My billing cycle was 21 - 20 th of next month. So I paid the complete bill for the last cycle 21 Sep to 20 Oct. Please note that my account was terminated well before the end of cycle ie 20 Oct. So, I have nothing to pay as I terminated the connection well before the cycle end date. Complete equipment was removed and I have got confirmations that my account is suspended. And I had also got the message that my security deposit will be sent with in 60 days of account termination.

        Now see what tata indicom has done. When I called them after 3 months. They said that my security deposit is adjusted against my Nov-Dec bill. I was shocked to hear this. They stop the broadband service but the billing service never stops. They are reluctant to pay my security deposit. Please don't fall prey to this cheater.

          I registered a complaint (complaint no #[protected] on 25-oct-08 for cancellation of my landline, & I went to native for dewali, I got the call from TATA indicom and they asked for last month accurate bill amount, and they said they asked this question for verification. (confirm whether the complaint registered right person & they are taking to the right person), so I ask them to give me a call on 29-oct-08 but I wont get a call, so I called again, but no response,

          Then 30th I made the complaint here http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/tataindicom-c99113.html, I got a e-mail from Mr Sarfraz of Tataindicom on 31/10/08, (sarfraz.[protected]@tatatel.co.in), and he ask for the account number to resolve the issue, i replied immediately, but still the issue not solved.
          Then again I registered a complaint on 2nd November 9.30am & the call extened till 10am(30min’s) but nothing happned

          Finally today 4th nov 4.30pm I got a call from TATAindicom Chennai[protected] and they said your connection will deactivate in 10days.

          In the mean time I requested for Itemized bill for last month, For last one year my bill amount will be between Rs 540-554, but this month it was Rs 720/- every month I get STD itemized bill but this month I m not received .
          They are not ready to register the request abt itemized bill, I forced them to registered the request for itemized bill (local & STD[protected],[protected] but not received yet.

          My personal opinion, pls away from TATAindicom, otherwise you will hate all tata products.

          TATA Indicom — TataIndicom Custamer Care Unresponse Answering

          I had to Tata Indicom Custamer Care for knowing the details of new offers of Tata Indicom. Then I did not get related answer and unresponsible answer, they are speaking harshly "I donot Know" what u want do first latter I will speak with you and other vulgar words.

          I dont know, who are the outsource workers of Tata Indicom as compare to other Mobile companies they very best custamer support, but Tata Indicom Custamer Support is very very bad.

          TataIndicom — Cancellation of service

          I am the hardcore customer of TATA, I blindly go with TATA products until I choose TATA indicom, now I feel not to choose any tata products in the future,

          I m the customer of TATA indicom landline for last 1year, but every month 4-5 days it is dead, totally more than 60days the line was out of order. They take minimum 5 minutes to register the complaint & take 3-5days to attend the problem. (take their own time to solve the issue)

          25th October 2008 (4.30am) I requested (complaint) to cancel my landline, reason I said shifting to native (but actual reason is poor service & response), I got the call back by 11am (this is the first time they called on the same day). They asked lot of questions; finally ask me to send e-mail. I got the reply as your problem solved. But still the line is active. I don’t know to whom to contact

          Pls check with tataindicom customers before going for tataindicom

          I got a Mail from Mr Sarfraz of Tataindicom on 31/10/08, (sarfraz.[protected]@tatatel.co.in), and he ask for the account number to reslove the issue, i replied immediately, but still not sloved.

          TATA INDICOM / LANDLINE CONNECTION — Defective set

          I had taken a new landline connection of Tata Indicom. Phone no.[protected]. The handset went dead within 24 hours. I took the handset to the dealer, who did something with the set and said it is OK. I took the set home. It again went dead within 15 minutes. I was told to go to Tata Indicom company showroom and lodge the complaint. I lodged the complaint over their web site. Without listing to me they closed the complaint. Today, I went to their Connaught Place show room. I was directed to take the set to their workshop somewherein CP.

          It seems instead of buying a Tata Indicom connection, I have bought problems for me.

          I am being told to go here or go there.

          I do not this connection anymore. I want my money back.

          TATA Indicom — Bills of 3 years which were adjusted against deposit is being called again

          Sir,
          In the month of April i arranged for the internet services from Tata, which they did on time.
          But the very next day my services were with drawn and the reason they gave was a bill stands outstanding against my name to the tune of Rs.1092/- from 2006.

          I would like to state that i had taken a connection then against a deposit of Rs.1122/- the payment of which i have done through cheque.
          Since the amount was not being adjusted in the bills which i was told would be done in the next and so on but i terminated the services within a couple of months without making the last bills payment.
          Their excevcutive visited my premises and on his vist i showed hinm the documents.
          The said officer said that he would take care of the matter and the case stands closed.
          Now after so many years the company says that my amount stll stays as and where it is.
          The documents that i had also are not tracable.

          Despite trying repeatedly to report and get it fixed, my landline has not worked for months. Tata Indicom consumer service simply does not get the attention needed for the repair. It is an appalling call service and totally ineffectual. How can I get their attention?

          Dear Tata Indicom Tele services

          I already submitted a request to discontinue in regard to this phone connection ([protected]), around 2011 since then nobody using the connection. No outstanding dues to be paid for that connection as on date of my discontinuation request. After being submitted the request for discontinue the connection, still I am getting the bills for the same. This is not at all acceptable and make me inconvenience to respond such mails from Tata Indicom which is a reputed firm.

          I tried and visit Irinjalakuda which is near to my home station to lodge a complaint but they replied no chances to discontinue from their end and advised me to visit Trichur. Again I went to Trichur for discontinue the connection, but the same response from them and they advised me to go to Ernakulam.

          At the end, this frustration makes me to go and put up an issue against Tata Indicom with ' CONSUMER FORUM / COURT'. Hope you understood the situation and do necessary action for non issue of the bills in future for that connection, and please stop the connection permanently

            I have been using a TATA INDICOM Post Paid number [protected] for a few months now. In the month of August I was on roaming for aweek as i had gone to Bangalore, after my return in a few days I recieved my postpaid bill of the month of August of Rs 2033. after seing such a huge amount I was shocked and paid the bill in part payments and as I couldnot pay the billl on time fully so my services were barred from 8th september to 11th september. Than again in the month of August on 9th August I had gone to Bangalore by train for college purposes as I am a students and so I was on roaming services but as i had not fully paid the previous bill so my phone services were barred. Later i called a friend of mine in Bhopal and gave her Rs 1000 to pay my bill and she did so on 10th september but the payment was updated on 11th morning at around 12 O'clock . Mean while when I left i ahd asked the company to send me a bill detail of the month of August the amount of which was Rs 2033. The company had some confusion and they send me the bill detail of the month of September the billing month which finished on 2nd October the amount of which again was a shocking Rs 1701on checking the bill detail of this month that the company had sent me via courier I found that the company had generated a bill amount of approximately Rs 400 for the dates of 8th, 9th, 10th september but for the same dates my services were barred by the company itself also they had shown a wrong amount of a call on the date of 12th August of 12.47 am worth Rs 82.5 regarding this problem I appealed to the company sevaral times on first two times they registered my complaint by saying that I had problems with roaming call charges whereas my problem was that when the company had de activated my services for those 3 days how did they charge me for it. The company customer care told me to go to a TATA INDICOM office and show them the bill and on doing so the office people refused and said these problems are looked by the back office team, again after a few days the customer care told me to visit their office. I did this sevaral times and was being ill treated by the company each time and also wasted approximately Rs 400 in petrol to go to thier offices. On registering a third complaint I got a call from their department a week back and had a talk with Mr. Ajay for an hour about my problem on telling him each call that had been shown in the bill he agreed to the fault of the company and told me he would get back to me in an hour. When he got back he told me that sir the bill amount is write but the bill detail that we have send you is wrong as it was normal human error and we are sending you the write bill detail and insisting me to pay the bill, NOW why should i pay the bill when they are agreeing that the bill is wrong and are not ready to give any waiver also. They are deliberately saying that we cannot help the situation and not help you as a result of which my services have again been barred from 3rd November onwards. I plead your Help. Thank You.

                  We are staying Bharani Residency flat 62 and 63 in Green Hamlet Kondapur, ShilapaII, Novotel star hotel Road.

                  Our neighbour flat 61 is given a lease to TATA to build mobile tower with out taking proper approvlas from neighbours.

                    I have taken your conection in september. sevrvices was proper.recently there was no service, again i submitted the documents at tata gallery in vasai(w) on friday 17.10.08 . they told me services will resume on saturday.till date there is no service.

                      On 10th Oct, I had requested that my Tata indicom landline services to be discontinued w.e.f 22nd OCt. Here at every step the customer service persons who interacted with me, asked repeatedly the same questions - why I wanted to discontinue and tried to sell other schemes. Finally I had to insist on getting my request number and my request was registered.

                      On 14th Oct, I was surprised to find that I could not dial out, so called up customer complaint. They told me that they have acted on my request on the date of request instead of 22nd oct.

                      In between there were two calls from them asking the same questions - why do I want to discontinue my phone service and gave me the 'gyan' on the alternate plans.

                      I send in mail requesting that the calls asking me for reasons for my request to discontinue the services should be stopped. Also, had complainted that they had caused me inconvince by being proactive in disconnecting my phone. I had requested them not to call me and I affirmed that I was not interested in their services.

                      To my surprise the response was that they restarted my phone connection, this was without me cancelling my request. There is no response to my mails in this regard.

                      To add to my problems one Ravi from their Turbhe office twice to ask if I had any complaints. He had received my number from his supervisor but did not know what was the problem. He wasnted me to instruct him.

                      Again I wrote to the Nodal office, requesting them to stop these calls. I requested them to send me their supriors number/email ID so I could take the matter with them, as the Nodal office was unable to resolve the problem. There is no response from TATA.

                      Please let me know the escalation points at Tata Indicom, where I can escalate my problems

                      I have taken Tata Indicom Modem ([protected]) for my Laptop from Jaipur. Since last 03 months i was not using that Modem, I went Out of Station for some personal work. When I came back I got transfered to Jodhpur. I got call from Jaipur Customer Care, If you will Pay Rs. 500/- Your's Modem will be activated again, Then I went to Tata Indicom Head office at Jodhpur to pay my due money & make my Modem Activate. I found one of the Lady (Kanchan) was seating there, when i had asked about the money, She had checked with his Store Manager I forgot his name, You have to pay Rs. 700/-, I had Paid that amount then & there only & that Lady has assured me that your's Modem will be Activated by today's evening. But it's more than 10 days But there is no Response it's still deactivated. Since then I am calling to Customer care but it's useless no one is taking seriously, I don't know what kind o[censored]nprofessional Staff You are having. Please if you can do something do this immediately, Otherwise let me know I will go for another Modem from other Brand.

                          Hi,

                          I am using the Tata Indicom mobile phone service with No.[protected]. Since 10 months I keep complaining about poor network coverage in Hitec City & Madhapur areas in Hyderabad but till now no action has been taken. Am fed up calling Customer care No. 121 after couple of months they had me call ‘Nodal Officer’ for the same issue. When I called up the nodal officer for the first time on his Ph. No.[protected] they told me it’s a know issue and they are searching for the place to install the Cell site and this would be resolved with in 45 days. After 45 days I did not get any response from these people, again I called up and they told me it would take 3 more months. After 3 months they did not turn up, I checked with the nodal office people and they told everything is completed, Cell site is also installed and they are waiting for ‘Government approval’ to execute the site and asked me to wait for 3 to 4 weeks more. Again after 4 weeks when I called up and they informed me that it would take 3 more months to resolve and they were not sure if it will be resolve or not. (I am surprised Hitec city is such a hot place and there is no network coverage, then what about the outskirts and rural areas.) I have informed them I have already waited for 10 months and I can’t wait anymore and informed I want to cancel my connection.

                          While subscribing for Tata Indicom connection I made a payment of Rs1450.00 towards connection charges and I have paid Rs. 9000.00 approx. towards Mobile handset. I have informed them I will cancel the connection and I will handover the Handset and asked to refund my amount. They say that as per the Tata Indicom policy they can’t return the money. I can’t afford to purchase a new handset and connection from other service provider. I cannot use Tata Indicom handset for other networks as it is of no use. Expecting the good service from Tata Indicom I have opted for their service paying money. Now they are telling ‘if you can’t wait for 3 more months you can cancel the connection’ but we won’t return your money. How far can this be justified when it comes to customer service like this. They cannot provide the service and they are not ready to return the money. Ultimately the customer is at LOSS. I have to pay money for other network service provider and I have to purchase new handset for new connection. They are not ready to provide the service and they are not ready to return the money. Tata Indicom is cheating the public by airing the Ads on TV’s and printed media saying ‘Our network will not drop even if you are in elevator”. I am worried who can help me on this.

                          I am using Tata Indicom cellphones & wireless land line, company (Tata Indicom)claims in commercials as theirs is one of the best networks, I dont even get proper network in Borivali East at my residence (next to thakkur village) call dropping is regular.When I bought this phone connections there use to be full network, I have complained lot many time but other than their phone calls assuring me network there has been no developement.

                          I appriciate the service of the company, but his time they had made a big mistake by not sending me the detail bill of my mobile uasge for the month of au'08.

                          the company has stopped sending me the detailed bill.

                          Tata have poor network services n most of the call drops inbetween.
                          I have made so many complaints to the tata indicom through my mobile. But result is 0

But since TataIndicom started Pay-per-call offer the total network has become rubbish(though I am not subscribed to this new offer). Though in cell phone it is showing full tower the call seldom matures.
                          Although there is lot of scope of getting good business for tata indicom, no one is caring about quality in its signal in Indervelly town, adilabad dist, andhra pradesh state.

                          we are getting very poor signal, please do the needful.

                          TATA Indicom Mobile Service — activating sms service without prior intimation

                          Tata Indicom mobil service is not listening to our complaint. They, without asking us, are activating health tips and other sms services on to our mobile [protected] and deducting amounts and making our account as "Zero Balance" so that we cannot make important calls when needed. After making several calls to them which they rarely pick up, they could not satisfy us why they are doing it. Please do something about it.
                          I want to just ask in my village near ratnagiri, our village we have an tower in another village of tata indicom but in our village we face a problem of network from some place the mobile gets network from not in all places i just want to know why so can u just give me the feedback please

                              I have taken a plug to surf internet connection of this company. First of all i was sold this modem at a price Rs. 500 more than the company price by New Baba Collection, in Aundh, Pune. and second of all my service has not been activated since 17th of oct 2008. The service is said to be activated within one day. I have submitted my Drivers Lisence as an address proof and also my college id Card as the local address proof. i am being told repeatedly that my service will be activated. But it has not happened till date. I am being given various excuses. also the dealer who i bought it from has sold it for a much costlier price. i have the original bill with me which states the price at which it was sold to me.

                              TataIndicom — plug and surf connection

                              I applied for plug and surf connection on 20/12/2007 through an executive Mr.Ratnakar who was supposed to come home to collection the deposit of Rs1000/- but i helped him and gave away the deposit at banashankari so that he was spared to come to my home which is 12 km away from there. I had given him the money along with the required documents. Even after 10 days i did not get the connection nor received any phone whatsoever from the above named executive so, i called the customer care (via complaint no.[protected] only to find that the same was not even logged-in with the firm.
                              Then i went to the customer care cell at Kormangala, bangalore were the customer care executive took nearly 3 hours to find out who has taken the money and he comes under which franchise. Then i spoke to the team head at the franchise Mr. Dawood who personally assured the matter will be taken into care immediately. However again this fellow (Ratnakar)was not tressable for more 1 few week. On 4/01/2008, again he took some documents and went away. The same was logged in only on 7/01/2008.

                              On 10/1/2008 again i went to kormangala to find why the connection has not yet been given. They assured me today or tommarrow i will get the connection.Till nobody has turned here. I just want the connections at an earliest and also the tata company should take required actions to rectify this kind of problems to the customers. Today while sitting in the tata office at kormangala i was surprised to see similar complaints were there.

                              I have been using tata indicom phone since 4 yrs and i am pleased to say i have never come across any problem of any sort with it. So i kindly request the tataindicom company to take my complaint as suggestion and not complaint.
                              I went to the head office on .......... and after waiting for 2 hrs came to know they were unable to help me
                              Internet connection no [protected] (325 V Data Plan). The connection was sold to me by Mr Rupinder Working in your office situated at opposite Jeevan Prakash, LIC building. I was told by Mr Rupinder that 300 SMS can be sent at a time through web2sms service in Rs 1/- only. But on receiving the bill I came to know that there is no such kind of facility available.

                              I bought this internet facility only due to the attraction of tarrif plan of SMS (as described by Mr Rupinder). Otherwise there is no use of this internet facility for me.

                              I did not expect from TATA INDICOM that false selling could be done.

                              You are requested to kindly look into it and resolve my grivance at an earliest else the matter will be taken to higher most authorities.

                              Tata Indicom Plug to Surf — line still not withdrawn

                              Hi, this is regarding my connection of tata indicom plug to surf. As our device got damaged & tata dosent do the servicing of the device we decided to surrender the connection ( unlimited plan 600/-) & my no was [protected]. According we contact park street regional office to tata indicom & gave an application to discontinue the connection also i paid all the dues. It was told that within 1 month another bil of Rs 300 will come as a proseccing charge to surrender the bill which also i paid. Consequently i recvd several calls from tata indicom requesting not to surrender the line. But unfortunetly i started again receiving bills for the same connection. Even collection staffs are coming to collect the bill amt. I spoke to local tata indicom Showrooms & Cs but nothing is updated. I am getting harrassed every month & need a parmanent solution.
                              i had very gud experience with cheeting TATA Telecom, i am using plug in moderm, i informed my change of address but they never correct it and not sending bill but thery are sending sms pay your balance amount Rs 9/-otherwise we will disconnect, i contact their senior officers but idid nt get the bill till date and my adress also not changed, read that whole story how they mentaly distrubed me

                              I am using your TATA Tele service for Last 15 Months from Phagwara division, I Shifted My Residency from VPO Chaheru (Phagwara) to Ludhiana in the Month of September, So I went to your TATA Office at Mall Road Branch in Ludhiana on 20th October regarding my change of address with proper proof and payment for current Balance, I met Mr. Sanjay in that office for address change and I handed over to him my written application with Xerox copy of my Office ID card proof and he accept it after verifying with original office id and forwarded to System incharge female staff and she requested me to make bold in the new address in that letter then immediately I underline the new address with different color pen after that she typed wrongly in the address in system. I found out this problem around 6.28 pm onthat same very day while paying my bill (after seeing my Payment Receipt). I urged to meet that same system incharge female for correction but she is not available, immediately I went to met Mr.SANJAY with in a minute and I informed that address mistake to him and he told to me I will do it tomorrow. I try to meet Mr. Navdeep (Incharge Manager/Head) to solve this problem immediately but I am not able to meet that Head on that day but I had talk with that person next day morning regarding this problem by mobile(21st Oct). Even though I had talk with Mr.Sanjay the next couple days (21st & 22nd October) regarding that same problem personally by phone, he replied me on 22nd Oct “That mistake was corrected Yesterday itself after your phone call (21st Oct call)”. After that I did not get current bill till date. So I myself went to near by France to find the problem and then I found from Model Town France office onwards, Till date that address problem was not rectified, it’s happened on last Saturday (i.e. 22nd November). I want clarify from you what type of Customer service your doing? I got your office number and mail id from Your Hyderabad Head office onwards yesterday, I try to contact you today but I had talk with Mr.Rishi behalf of you, I explained all the details to Mr.Rishi nearly 15mins by telephonic conversation around 2pm today, he also told to me I will solve this problem with in a day and then u will get your bill with in 5days, after that due date what is the use of getting bill but you people will do one good job i.e. collect fine from customer even though if its your mistake, so to avoid this kind of problem I already paid my bill. Mr.Rishi contact me again the same very day evening around 4.10 pm couple of time and told to me Mr.sanjay is in online please talk to him but in first call Mr.Sanjay is not come to my line or may be he don’t want to talk to me, Next time I had a call from Mr.Rishi after 10 mins and told to me Mr. Sanjay is in online (2nd call) now and he will rectify your problem, I also accept Mr.Rishi worlds and I wait for couple of min in line for Mr.Sanjay. Later he came to line but he could not listen my words and cut the line while talking in-between us, so what is this Manner, you people torching who is the good customer, so I decided to go to Legal complaints against your service in TRAI and your Hyderabad office also. I don’t want to your service from upcoming month onwards, If your giving service after 8th of Dec I am not responsible to pay for that and any service inconvenience happen in between this month (upto 8th Dec) I will give complaints against yourself. I know how to take this complaint to Telecommunication Ministry and TRAI and I will forward this complaint letter to Daily Newspapers also, can I wait for your response upto 10am tomorrow, if your not responding tomorrow regarding this complaints I will move asper as what ever I written in this letter.                               Tata Indicom Plug to Surf — Excess of Bill

                              This is Ravinder, i was using plug to surf for past 1 year with number [protected], though the speed was horrible always, but i was managing somehow because the device in itself cost Rs. 3500, but this time they just cross their limits, i was charged Rs. 1067 and Rs.1800 respectively for the month of Oct and Nov 2008, inspite of raising several request regarding this i just got the reply that their system is showing so. I have already send them my dialer logs as attachment on complaint forum of their website, but still its of no use.

                              I took a tata indicom plug to Surf connection and I was told that speed will come nearly 200kbps.
                              But when I got the device and SIM, I checked the speed to be 2kbps,
                              I logged a complain and the technician came to my home, did not find any clue to resolve the issue.
                              Then I talked to TATA Indicom superviser to cancel the connection.
                              And I asked wat to do with the modem after cancelling the connection, ans was it was my mistake to take tata connection and they can not help.

                              I was using TATA indicom Plug to surf, i bought it as it would help me when i am roaming also,
                              but when i was in Bhopal in Feb 2008 it was not working so raised a complaint Customer care[protected],
                              there was no action from the tata indicom on my complaint and when i asked the Customer care after my delivery in August 2008, they said the complaint is closed,
                              they never had confirmation from my side it was working.

                              This is K.Anwer with a tata no- [protected] & [protected], a regular customer of Tata since long ago moving from Up to delhi and now in Rajasthan, is writing this mail with a deep SORROW given by the organisation of tata indicom.

                              I have recharged my no. with Rs 699 so that i can get the facility o[censored]nlimited tata to tata lacal+std call, on 12-04-09.

                              But since then it has been regularly happening that i found deductions from my main account making a wholesum of more than 100 Rs calling on tata numbers.

                              Riticulous, i want my money. They are not solving this disgusting problem still. The reply of the complain is--the problem is due to the home zone--whats this home zone matter---ok if problem is bcoz of home zone then it must be happening regularly--but on the first moment the calls seems to be normal that is free and right at the second moment sitting on the same chair calling on the same number balance found to be deducting---amazing---this is nothing but robbing poor customers by fake explanations. On telling all these, they are not ready to hear me, & just repeating home zone home zone and home zone----it was my fault as i trusted & choos tata leaving rim giving atleast not this type of piculear robbings. Further before making the recharge of 699 i asked customer care- whether there is any problem for me on recharging this---reply was a bold confident NO---whats up.
                              I will not only close my & my family members tata numbers but will also spread all your these robbing behaviours to as more persons as possible. Will stop definately to known ones to get the connection of tata.

Can you imagine a company more poor in customer service??? i have taken connection on 4 th of july still now i am not able to connect.When i called to the customer care they are saying that documents are not submitted yet.But i submitted on that day itself.
                              i wanna tell u that i am having an empty shop at anand parvat bus stand and having a good space and legal too...

                              I m using tata indicom plug to surf ([protected]) i did migrate my plan to unlimted coz i was going to my netive place in november in Goa there was network issue of tata indicom network in my area my visit was only for four days i had sent an email to tata nodal officer there Ms sonal had replied me its a very short period to resolve this problem please bear with us next time you wont face this problem.I said ok

                              This to inform youn that myslf PAMPA ROY(SARMA) wife of SUPHAL KANTI SARMA , I have taken a tata plug to surf internet device with security money RS.200/-. Due to unusable billing services I was bound to surrender the connection.
                              My account no[protected] and tata indicom device no.- [protected], On 30th december 2009 I had surrender the device. I havE CLEARED all pending bill. The payment receipt no. 17094340. dated- 30/12/2009 time-14:36.
                              They told will refund security deposit money within three month. after four month I went to customer care ask about deposited money they already submitted company call to customer care. at agartala customer care people's behavier also not good.I called so many times they didnt respond. always telling will reimberse soon.
                              Is it customer care? After eight months they are not refunding security money.

                              Now what to do?

                                yesterday i will write a complaint.So one customer care officer call me today and charged my account by using Rs.10/- top-up card.But for that card i will get a talk time of Rs.4.55/-only.I am not satisfied, because the actual talk time for that card is Rs.6.90/- But still the status my TATA indicom connection ([protected]) IS VERY BAD that is, (1) Out going calls are blocked.(2) Account refilling/recharging fecility by calling the number "12526" is blocked.(3) To speak with an customer care officer by pressing button/switch-9 after dailing customer care number(12524, 12525) is also blocked/banned. So i kindly request to take neccessary actions to remove the blockking with immediate effects.

                                I have registered my complaint in the customer care with no fruitful results.They are good in making vague promises which always fails.

                                All I want from the tata indicom is :

But i didnty get any balance even the very first day it shows that amount got exhausted . so i talked wth customer care they told me to recharge with 50/- But still it is charging money for my std and local calls too.What shall i do?

                                the worst survice i have ever seen ..and i would not recommend anyone to go for tata specially the 699 scheme..
                                first of all the customer care never picks up ir call, i dont no what the hell is he doing there, and what these tata indicom pays them for.
                                secondly... even though u have the balance, u cannot make the outgoing..says call failed.
                                third... they charge u for making the STD calls even with the 699 booster.

                                TATA Indicom — outgoing calls not possible for last 1-2 weeks

                                My phone no. is [protected].It is in use for last 2.5 years(approx).Suddenly outgoing calls stopped.I thought some technical problems may be the reason.After 4-5 days talking to various customers/ friends
                                I found that it has been intentionally done.I went to the nearest tata indicom true value shop with my photo and xerox of passport.They redirected me to submit it in some office too far from here.Then i contacted the shop where it was purchased.I gave him the photo and xreox of passport.He has already forwarded my application three days back.Still my outgoing calls are of no use.Many important business are being hampered.It is festival time.I want to resolve it at earliest.Kindly do the needful and keep your name TATA

                                  Sir, I am having internet connection 8 pm to 8 am unlimited usage plan of tata indicom provided by Lakshay solutions in mumbai.I got my bill just doubled Rs 722. which was soppossed to be Rs 350 for the month of sep 08. I have never used my PC between 8 AM to 8 PM.Now i have been forced by tata's to pay all the bill which i actually not used. I asked tata internet services to send me detail about my usage with timings.from 08 oct 08. but they are not giving any response.                                     Reminder 4: 09.08.2008 : No acknowledgement of my letter dated 21.07.2008 and the
                                    reminder sent on 25.7.2008 by any of the above mentioned email recipients as to what Tata
                                    teleservices is planning to undertake. I may please be informed immediately.
                                    In a disgusted state of affairs from Tata Indicom side I cancelled my Internet connection vide
                                    cancellation no.[protected] dated 8.8.2008.
                                    In cancellation also there is infringement of customer rights as the individual has to pay 7
                                    days extra charge in my case it comes out to Rs. 210.00 even after cancellation.
                                    So I paid to Tata Indicom the following charges in my 3 month connection
                                    May 2008 : Rs. 1800.00, Rs. 80 approx. later, June 2008: Rs. 1080.00.approx. July : 2917, Aug
                                    Bill will be around 1850 Rs. as informed telephonically. So total Rs. Paid 7727.00 so approx.
                                    more than Rs. 2500 p.m. with several days of non use. So you can imagine the plight of mine
                                    as a customer.
                                    Even during cancellation Mr. Mohsin Hakim Jiwala harassed me for 20 minutes and they
                                    were not ready to cancel my dongle. Same was the situation with Himesh radyia from
                                    Ahmedabad on 8.8.2008. I told them go and ask your CMD. They were not ready to transfer
                                    the call to their supervisors even.
                                    Reminder 3 :25.07.2008 : No acknowledgement of my letter dated 21.07.2008 and the
                                    reminder sent on 25.7.2008 by any of the above mentioned email recipients as to what Tata
                                    teleservices is planning to undertake. I may please be informed immediately.

                                    • Why Tata Teleservices has to reiterate and emphasize that “is reputed for its good
                                    business and ethical practices in the country”. Had this not true I would not have
                                    written so many times to Tata Teleservices.
                                    • Seconed as accepted by you that the Internet log is written on the Customer’s PC/
                                    Laptop and is strictly indicative, I still fail to understand as to why this facility was
                                    created by TATA INDICOM at all and for what purpose. What it indicates : “Fooling a
                                    customer” like it fooled me.
                                    • I still re-iterate my point which remains unanswered :
                                    Company is fully aware of the correct bill and usage amount, why the same is not passed on
                                    to the customer so that he can regulate his usage as per the bill for the period of bill cycle.
                                    What is the problem with the Company if it has the state of art network equipments?
                                    • Also withdraw the present system of writing the log on Customer’s PC/laptop and then
                                    taking the shelter of “Disclaimer clause” and saying the logs are strictly indicative.
                                    • You have claimed “Further, we have already communicated in our earlier mails that
                                    we have a robust billing system in place and no changes are to be made in our
                                    software. Billing in your system has been found correct.

                                    This is not true as you are not ready to accept that it requires changes in your software and at
                                    the same time you are not ready to provide the correct log to the customer.
                                    • I once again emphasize not providing correct log to the customer regarding its usage
                                    is against the principle of natural justice and violative of customers right and also it
                                    comes under monopolies and restrictive trade practices.
                                    • I hope you will agree to my suggestion and incorporate the necessary changes in your
                                    software and inform me.

                                    I still have few issues to be replied from Tata Indicom end
                                    1. Is the Internet log written on Tata Indicom machine or customers pc/laptop ?
                                    2. As you pointed to your safety clause of ‘Disclaimer clause’ why is it that a company like
                                    Tata Indicom, provides a wrong log to the customer knowing fully well that those logs are
                                    wrong.
                                    3. As per your statement it is clear that the Company is fully aware of the correct bill and
                                    usage amount, (as mentioned in my case the Co. was aware of my bill on 23rdJune, 25th
                                    June, 30th June, 2nd July 2008) why the same is not passed on to the customer so that he can
                                    regulate his usage as per the bill for the period of bill cycle. What is the problem with the
                                    Company if it has the state of art network equipments?
                                    4. I may be told the correct way to regulate my bill as per the usage for the period of bill
                                    cycle.
                                    5. However for your information I need to tell you the following
                                    a) Could be that Dailer.exe is terminated through Task Manager by me.
                                    b) There was no power failure in my case
                                    c) There was no change in machine, the dongle was used on the same laptop during
                                    the period for which comparative analysis was made.
                                    6. Still not convinced as to how the log that I am having differs from that of your’s and if at all
                                    it is to be different why should it be. It is against the principle of natural justice and right of
                                    correct information for a consumer.

                                    o With reference to the Internet Log feature, we clarify that it will give only approximate
                                    usage of Data and Time which is strictly indicative. The usage information might vary due to
                                    various external factors like –
                                    § If Dialer.exe is terminated through Task Manager on pc/laptop, then Internet logs will
                                    not be recorded.
                                    § Internet Logs are machine specific. As machine changes, log also change.
                                    § In case of power failure, log will not be written correctly.
                                    o We have also mentioned in our Disclaimer clause that the readings in the dialer are
                                    only indicative. However, we reaffirm that our billing is purely on the readings of the billing
                                    system, which is a foolproof system and the billing in your case is found correct.
                                    o We would like to assure you that these usage details are not used for your billing
                                    purpose and the billing is done as per the reports captured by our state- of- the art network
                                    equipments
                                    o Credit limit is a monthly financial limit that not only keeps your costs in control but also
                                    helps to prevent unauthorized usage. On crossing the credit limit, we intimate customers by
                                    a call to make an interim payment. On crossing the credit limit assigned to you, services to
                                    the number may be barred on company's discretion, however services may be barred if
                                    payment is not received by due date even without crossing the 100% of the credit limit.
                                    o Regarding your query, we would like to inform you that we had intimated you on 23rd
                                    June 2008 about the exposure of Rs.1047. We also tried to reach you on your mobile on 25th
                                    June 2008 when the outstanding on your mobile was Rs.1891 however the same was
                                    unanswered. Hence services to your Vdata Card were barred on 26th June 2008 to avoid
                                    further exposure. Services to your number were restored on 28th June 2008 post payment
                                    receipt of Rs.1000 against an exposure of Rs.1891.
                                    o We had intimated you on 30th June 2008 about the exposure Rs. 1600 and also
                                    regarding applicable charges of Rs.0.40 after free usage of 1.5 GB . We also tried to reach
                                    you on 2nd July 2008 to inform the exposure of Rs.2292 however the phone was
                                    unanswered. Hence services to your VDATA Card were barred to avoid further exposure.
                                    The bill for your account generated on 11th July includes fixed rental of Rs900; which resulted
                                    in a total outstanding of Rs.2917 after the bill generated.
                                    o We deeply regret the error in communication by customer care executive regarding
                                    Rs. 5792/- outstanding amount towards your VDATA Card, which was actually Rs.2292 as on
                                    2nd July. We have initiated necessary corrections at our end to avoid such reoccurrence in
                                    future.
                                    o We regret to inform you that bill run happens only once in a month on the bill date and
                                    hence will not be able to provide you intermediate bills.
                                    We would like to assure you that our robust billing system is in place and there is no problem
                                    with your said bill.

                                    rental amounting to Rs.300 for the period you were unable to use our services.

                                    18.07.2008: Received a telephonic call from Mr. Pankaj from Chandigarh informing me that
                                    he is going to provide rebate in rental for the period 3.7.2008 to 11.7.2008 in the next bill and
                                    whatever other grievance has been referred to the committee.
                                    Reminder1 :18.07.2008 : I was told that a suitable reply will be made at the earliest after
                                    examining the case. So the entire Tata office takes more than a week to arrive at a suitable
                                    answer since I appealed to them. I have already a log to prove my point which I have
                                    already put forward. I once again appeal to refund my excess amount paid towards the bill
                                    of May and June. Also I expect that Tata will incorporate changes in their software so that
                                    the customer gets the correct log.
                                    I request the appellate authorities as well to look into this case urgently.
                                    18.07.2008 :A reminder of the Complaint also sent to Shri Ratan Tata
                                    I am attaching the log duly provided by you, as well as the analysis of the log of mine
                                    (already sent to you) viz. – a – viz the log provided by you.
                                    Let me put the issues in right perspectives again
                                    1. Why the two log (Your’s and mine) do not tally. Why Tata Indicom is befooling the
                                    customers. If my log is wrong why it is providing this wrong log to the customer which is
                                    misleading. What steps Tata Indicom is going to take to correct this misleading
                                    information database.
                                    2. Why my connection was not stopped in the month of June after I crossed the limit of
                                    Rs. 1700.00 (my allowable credit limit). Why was it stopped after I had reached a limit
                                    of Rs. 2917.00, this is also a misleading information of my credit limit. I suffered because
                                    of that.
                                    3. Why I was not provided the exact bill to deposit i.e. Rs. 2917.00 on 3rd July itself and
                                    told wrongly of the bill amount of Rs. 5792.00 (I recollect correctly if) and made to
                                    suffer till 11th July when I was told the correct bill of Rs. 2917 which I immediately
                                    deposited the same day. I could not use the internet for 8 precious days (a part of the
                                    next bill to be precise besides my work).
                                    4. I have made an analysis of the two log attached along with this. Kindly go through it
                                    and let me know your answer.
                                    5. How does a customer know that Tata Indicom is charging rightly and the log that it
                                    provides is correct?

                                    He told me the different nuances of the bill and I informed him about my view point. He tried
                                    to tell me when I was informed and the details of the bill etc. but my problem still remains the
                                    same. He even tried to give me a consolation that Tata Indicom is ready to give a discount
                                    of Rs. 500.00 which was refused by me flatly. My complaint is not limited only to the bill
                                    amount.
                                    14.7.2008: Telephonic talk to Ranjana from Chandigarh
                                    She spoke to at 10.15 to me and tried to tell again as to how the log will differ with that which
                                    I had. Then I told my view point and she promised to talk to me later.
                                    14.7.2008: Complaint emailed to Mr. Bhasker Sharma, Nodal Officer, Gujarat
                                    I have already lodged a complaint at most of the places of Tata Indicom including
                                    Appellette Authorities. I wanted to send you the copy of complaint to you as well as you are
                                    the nodal officer of Gujarat. Please find the updated complaint attached as annexure. It
                                    speaks of everything.

                                    Asked for Complaint details and promised to look into the matter. She tried to explain, that
                                    my log will differ from system log, as I might have not updated it from the website. I have
                                    never been told, or nowhere is it mentioned as to how to update the same from website.

                                    13.7.2008: 0030 Hrs: Matter Emailed to Shri Ratan Tata
                                    I am a user of Tata Indicom internet usage and recently was billed in excess which I paid
                                    contrary to what the log shows. On enquiry I was told that the consumer log will always differ
                                    from system log. Question is how much in my case it differs by more than 300%. Kindly look
                                    into this matter, so that the customer is not fooled like me, in using the services of Tata
                                    Indicom.
                                    12.7.2008: 1850 Hrs.: I had a talk with Madam Pooja from Ahmedabad and she clarified
                                    issues and also promised to provide the log on Monday i.e.14.7.2008 and will call me back.
                                    12.7.2008: 1600 Hrs. I talked to Mr. Manual from Pune for clarification as to why my log does
                                    not matches with system log, he could not clarify the matter. Further I asked him if my credit
                                    limit is Rs. 1700 how I was allowed to use internet upto Rs. 2912.00, he had no answer. He
                                    further assured me that some expert on internet will speak to me shortly. But no one spoke to
                                    me.

                                    12.7.2008: 12.50 AM: I had a talk with Minal at Ahmedabad and she replied that Supervisor is
                                    not available and she can’t help me right now and cannot provide the No. of Chandigarh
                                    office.
                                    I visited Tata Indicom office, Vadodara on 12.07.2008 and lodged a formal complaint with
                                    complaint no [protected]. I discussed the matter with Madam Indrani she replied consumer’s
                                    log will never match with system log.
                                    Thus Tata Indicom is fooling customers and taking them with ride by providing wrong log.


                                    12.07.2008: I hold a Tata Indicom no. [protected] with account no.[protected]. I was billed
                                    excess for the month of May 2008, but I didn’t complaint. Again I was billed heavily in the
                                    month of June 2008 for Rs 2917 instead of Rs. 900.00 the rental only.
                                    I contacted their Chandigarh office and several assistants talked but of no use some of them
                                    to name with are Mr. Sanjay and Ganesh on 11.7.08. These phone attendants should be
                                    removed from the job itself as they didn’t try to understand the problem and cannot handle
                                    a customer’s need.
                                    I have a log to prove my point that my usage is quite less. Accordingly my internet was
                                    disconnected from 3rd July to 11th July and my work suffered. When I asked how much
                                    money to be deposited to start my connection, one person told Rs. 5890.00 approximately or
                                    more. The other person Mr. Pankaj said he cannot reply till bill is generated on 11th. Only on
                                    11th July I could know that I had to deposit Rs 2917 and I have deposited Rs. 3000.00. vide
                                    receipt no. 4014910.
                                    But I have to fight out this complaint with Tata Indicom India. I have to be refunded my
                                    excess money charged beyond my rental as no body could provide me the log of my usage
                                    till date.

                                    Atlast happy to hear from you;
                                    • Why Tata Teleservices has to reiterate and emphasize that “is reputed for its good business and ethical practices in the country”. Had this not true I would not have written so many times to Tata Teleservices.
                                    • Seconed as accepted by you that the Internet log is written on the Customer’s PC/ Laptop and is strictly indicative, I still fail to understand as to why this facility was created by TATA INDICOM at all and for what purpose. What it indicates : “Fooling a customer” like it fooled me.
                                    • I still re-iterate my point which remains unanswered :
                                    Company is fully aware of the correct bill and usage amount, why the same is not passed on to the customer so that he can regulate his usage as per the bill for the period of bill cycle. What is the problem with the Company if it has the state of art network equipments?
                                    • Also withdraw the present system of writing the log on Customer’s PC/laptop and then taking the shelter of “Disclaimer clause” and saying the logs are strictly indicative.
                                    • You have claimed “Further, we have already communicated in our earlier mails that we have a robust billing system in place and no changes are to be made in our software. Billing in your system has been found correct.

                                    This is not true as you are not ready to accept that it requires changes in your software and at the same time you are not ready to provide the correct log to the customer.
                                    • I once again emphasize not providing correct log to the customer regarding its usage is against the principle of natural justice and violative of customers right and also it comes under monopolies and restrictive trade practices.

                                    I still have few issues to be replied from Tata Indicom end
                                    1. Is the Internet log written on Tata Indicom machine or customers pc/laptop ?
                                    2. As you pointed to your safety clause of ‘Disclaimer clause’ why is it that a company like Tata Indicom, provides a wrong log to the customer knowing fully well that those logs are wrong.
                                    3. As per your statement it is clear that the Company is fully aware of the correct bill and usage amount, (as mentioned in my case the Co. was aware of my bill on 23rdJune, 25th June, 30th June, 2nd July 2008) why the same is not passed on to the customer so that he can regulate his usage as per the bill for the period of bill cycle. What is the problem with the Company if it has the state of art network equipments?
                                    4. I may be told the correct way to regulate my bill as per the usage for the period of bill cycle.
                                    5. However for your information I need to tell you the following
                                    a) Could be that Dailer.exe is terminated through Task Manager by me.
                                    b) There was no power failure in my case
                                    c) There was no change in machine, the dongle was used on the same laptop during the period for which comparative analysis was made.
                                    6. Still not convinced as to how the log that I am having differs from that of your’s and if at all it is to be different why should it be. It is against the principle of natural justice and right of correct information for a consumer.
                                    7. By what time Tata Indicom will incorporate the necessary changes in its software so that the customer is not befooled as I was?

                                    o With reference to the Internet Log feature, we clarify that it will give only approximate usage of Data and Time which is strictly indicative. The usage information might vary due to various external factors like –
                                    § If Dialer.exe is terminated through Task Manager on pc/laptop, then Internet logs will not be recorded.
                                    § Internet Logs are machine specific. As machine changes, log also change.
                                    § In case of power failure, log will not be written correctly.
                                    o We have also mentioned in our Disclaimer clause that the readings in the dialer are only indicative. However, we reaffirm that our billing is purely on the readings of the billing system, which is a foolproof system and the billing in your case is found correct.
                                    o We would like to assure you that these usage details are not used for your billing purpose and the billing is done as per the reports captured by our state- of- the art network equipments
                                    o Credit limit is a monthly financial limit that not only keeps your costs in control but also helps to prevent unauthorized usage. On crossing the credit limit, we intimate customers by a call to make an interim payment. On crossing the credit limit assigned to you, services to the number may be barred on company's discretion, however services may be barred if payment is not received by due date even without crossing the 100% of the credit limit.
                                    o Regarding your query, we would like to inform you that we had intimated you on 23rd June 2008 about the exposure of Rs.1047. We also tried to reach you on your mobile on 25th June 2008 when the outstanding on your mobile was Rs.1891 however the same was unanswered. Hence services to your Vdata Card were barred on 26th June 2008 to avoid further exposure. Services to your number were restored on 28th June 2008 post payment receipt of Rs.1000 against an exposure of Rs.1891.
                                    o We had intimated you on 30th June 2008 about the exposure Rs. 1600 and also regarding applicable charges of Rs.0.40 after free usage of 1.5 GB . We also tried to reach you on 2nd July 2008 to inform the exposure of Rs.2292 however the phone was unanswered. Hence services to your VDATA Card were barred to avoid further exposure. The bill for your account generated on 11th July includes fixed rental of Rs900; which resulted in a total outstanding of Rs.2917 after the bill generated.
                                    o We deeply regret the error in communication by customer care executive regarding Rs. 5792/- outstanding amount towards your VDATA Card, which was actually Rs.2292 as on 2nd July. We have initiated necessary corrections at our end to avoid such reoccurrence in future.
                                    o We regret to inform you that bill run happens only once in a month on the bill date and hence will not be able to provide you intermediate bills.
                                    We would like to assure you that our robust billing system is in place and there is no problem with your said bill.
                                    You being our valued customer and as a special service gesture we are waving off 9 days rental amounting to Rs.300 for the period you were unable to use our services.

                                    18.07.2008: Matter referred to Government of India, Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Communication & I&T, 1205, PG&I Branch, Sanchar Bhawan, New Delhi: [protected]@bol.net.in .
                                    18.07.2008: Received a telephonic call from Mr. Pankaj from Chandigarh informing me that he is going to provide rebate in rental for the period 3.7.2008 to 11.7.2008 in the next bill and whatever other grievance has been referred to the committee.
                                    Reminder1 :18.07.2008 : I was told that a suitable reply will be made at the earliest after examining the case. So the entire Tata office takes more than a week to arrive at a suitable answer since I appealed to them. I have already a log to prove my point which I have already put forward. I once again appeal to refund my excess amount paid towards the bill of May and June. Also I expect that Tata will incorporate changes in their software so that the customer gets the correct log.
                                    I request the appellate authorities as well to look into this case urgently.

                                    I am attaching the log duly provided by you, as well as the analysis of the log of mine (already sent to you) viz. – a – viz the log provided by you.
                                    Let me put the issues in right perspectives again
                                    1. Why the two log (Your’s and mine) do not tally. Why Tata Indicom is befooling the customers. If my log is wrong why it is providing this wrong log to the customer which is misleading. What steps Tata Indicom is going to take to correct this misleading information database.
                                    2. Why my connection was not stopped in the month of June after I crossed the limit of Rs. 1700.00 (my allowable credit limit). Why was it stopped after I had reached a limit of Rs. 2917.00, this is also a misleading information of my credit limit. I suffered because of that.
                                    3. Why I was not provided the exact bill to deposit i.e. Rs. 2917.00 on 3rd July itself and told wrongly of the bill amount of Rs. 5792.00 (I recollect correctly if) and made to suffer till 11th July when I was told the correct bill of Rs. 2917 which I immediately deposited the same day. I could not use the internet for 8 precious days (a part of the next bill to be precise besides my work).
                                    4. I have made an analysis of the two log attached along with this. Kindly go through it and let me know your answer.
                                    5. How does a customer know that Tata Indicom is charging rightly and the log that it provides is correct?

                                    She informed me that my detailed log is mailed to me and I reiterated the different issues to her

                                    He told me the different nuances of the bill and I informed him about my view point. He tried to tell me when I was informed and the details of the bill etc. but my problem still remains the same. He even tried to give me a consolation that Tata Indicom is ready to give a discount of Rs. 500.00 which was refused by me flatly. My complaint is not limited only to the bill amount.

                                    She spoke to at 10.15 to me and tried to tell again as to how the log will differ with that which I had. Then I told my view point and she promised to talk to me later.

                                    I have already lodged a complaint at most of the places of Tata Indicom including Appellette Authorities. I wanted to send you the copy of complaint to you as well as you are the nodal officer of Gujarat. Please find the updated complaint attached as annexure. It speaks of everything.

                                    Asked for Complaint details and promised to look into the matter. She tried to explain, that my log will differ from system log, as I might have not updated it from the website. I have never been told, or nowhere is it mentioned as to how to update the same from website. What are these logs which I have recorded and sent to you?

                                    13.7.2008: 0030 Hrs: Matter Emailed to Shri Ratan Tata
                                    I am a user of Tata Indicom internet usage and recently was billed in excess which I paid contrary to what the log shows. On enquiry I was told that the consumer log will always differ from system log. Question is how much in my case it differs by more than 300%. Kindly look into this matter, so that the customer is not fooled like me, in using the services of Tata Indicom.
                                    12.7.2008: 1850 Hrs.: I had a talk with Madam Pooja from Ahmedabad and she clarified issues and also promised to provide the log on Monday i.e.14.7.2008 and will call me back.
                                    12.7.2008: 1600 Hrs. I talked to Mr. Manual from Pune for clarification as to why my log does not matches with system log, he could not clarify the matter. Further I asked him if my credit limit is Rs. 1700 how I was allowed to use internet upto Rs. 2912.00, he had no answer. He further assured me that some expert on internet will speak to me shortly. But no one spoke to me.

                                    12.7.2008: 12.50 AM: I had a talk with Minal at Ahmedabad and she replied that Supervisor is not available and she can’t help me right now and cannot provide the No. of Chandigarh office.
                                    I visited Tata Indicom office, Vadodara on 12.07.2008 and lodged a formal complaint with complaint no [protected]. I discussed the matter with Madam Indrani she replied consumer’s log will never match with system log.
                                    Thus Tata Indicom is fooling customers and taking them with ride by providing wrong log.






                                    12.07.2008: I hold a Tata Indicom no. [protected] with account no.[protected]. I was billed excess for the month of May 2008, but I didn’t complaint. Again I was billed heavily in the month of June 2008 for Rs 2917 instead of Rs. 900.00 the rental only.
                                    I contacted their Chandigarh office and several assistants talked but of no use some of them to name with are Mr. Sanjay and Ganesh on 11.7.08. These phone attendants should be removed from the job itself as they didn’t try to understand the problem and cannot handle a customer’s need.
                                    I have a log to prove my point that my usage is quite less. Accordingly my internet was disconnected from 3rd July to 11th July and my work suffered. When I asked how much money to be deposited to start my connection, one person told Rs. 5890.00 approximately or more. The other person Mr. Pankaj said he cannot reply till bill is generated on 11th. Only on 11th July I could know that I had to deposit Rs 2917 and I have deposited Rs. 3000.00. vide receipt no. 4014910.
                                    But I have to fight out this complaint with Tata Indicom India. I have to be refunded my excess money charged beyond my rental as no body could provide me the log of my usage till date.
                                    I charge them that they are billing excess or somebody else is using the net on my account.

                                    4. I may be told the correct way to regulate my bill as per the usage for the period of bill cycle.
                                    5. However for your information I need to tell you the following
                                    a) Could be that Dailer.exe is terminated through Task Manager by me.
                                    b) There was no power failure in my case
                                    c) There was no change in machine, the dongle was used on the same laptop during the period for which comparative analysis was made.
                                    6. Still not convinced as to how the log that I am having differs from that of your’s and if at all it is to be different why should it be. It is against the principle of natural justice and right of correct information for a consumer.
                                    7. By what time Tata Indicom will incorporate the necessary changes in its software so that the customer is not befooled as I was?

                                    Please find the replies to your queries as below.
                                    o With reference to the Internet Log feature, we clarify that it will give only approximate usage of Data and Time which is strictly indicative. The usage information might vary due to various external factors like –
                                    § If Dialer.exe is terminated through Task Manager on pc/laptop, then Internet logs will not be recorded.
                                    § Internet Logs are machine specific. As machine changes, log also change.
                                    § In case of power failure, log will not be written correctly.
                                    o We have also mentioned in our Disclaimer clause that the readings in the dialer are only indicative. However, we reaffirm that our billing is purely on the readings of the billing system, which is a foolproof system and the billing in your case is found correct.
                                    o We would like to assure you that these usage details are not used for your billing purpose and the billing is done as per the reports captured by our state- of- the art network equipments
                                    o Credit limit is a monthly financial limit that not only keeps your costs in control but also helps to prevent unauthorized usage. On crossing the credit limit, we intimate customers by a call to make an interim payment. On crossing the credit limit assigned to you, services to the number may be barred on company's discretion, however services may be barred if payment is not received by due date even without crossing the 100% of the credit limit.
                                    o Regarding your query, we would like to inform you that we had intimated you on 23rd June 2008 about the exposure of Rs.1047. We also tried to reach you on your mobile on 25th June 2008 when the outstanding on your mobile was Rs.1891 however the same was unanswered. Hence services to your Vdata Card were barred on 26th June 2008 to avoid further exposure. Services to your number were restored on 28th June 2008 post payment receipt of Rs.1000 against an exposure of Rs.1891.
                                    o We had intimated you on 30th June 2008 about the exposure Rs. 1600 and also regarding applicable charges of Rs.0.40 after free usage of 1.5 GB . We also tried to reach you on 2nd July 2008 to inform the exposure of Rs.2292 however the phone was unanswered. Hence services to your VDATA Card were barred to avoid further exposure. The bill for your account generated on 11th July includes fixed rental of Rs900; which resulted in a total outstanding of Rs.2917 after the bill generated.
                                    o We deeply regret the error in communication by customer care executive regarding Rs. 5792/- outstanding amount towards your VDATA Card, which was actually Rs.2292 as on 2nd July. We have initiated necessary corrections at our end to avoid such reoccurrence in future.
                                    o We regret to inform you that bill run happens only once in a month on the bill date and hence will not be able to provide you intermediate bills.
                                    We would like to assure you that our robust billing system is in place and there is no problem with your said bill.
                                    You being our valued customer and as a special service gesture we are waving off 9 days rental amounting to Rs.300 for the period you were unable to use our services.

                                    18.07.2008: Matter referred to Government of India, Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Communication & I&T, 1205, PG&I Branch, Sanchar Bhawan, New Delhi: [protected]@bol.net.in .
                                    18.07.2008: Received a telephonic call from Mr. Pankaj from Chandigarh informing me that he is going to provide rebate in rental for the period 3.7.2008 to 11.7.2008 in the next bill and whatever other grievance has been referred to the committee.
                                    Reminder1 :18.07.2008 : I was told that a suitable reply will be made at the earliest after examining the case. So the entire Tata office takes more than a week to arrive at a suitable answer since I appealed to them. I have already a log to prove my point which I have already put forward. I once again appeal to refund my excess amount paid towards the bill of May and June. Also I expect that Tata will incorporate changes in their software so that the customer gets the correct log.
                                    I request the appellate authorities as well to look into this case urgently.
                                    18.07.2008 :A reminder of the Complaint also sent to Shri Ratan Tata
                                    I am attaching the log duly provided by you, as well as the analysis of the log of mine (already sent to you) viz. – a – viz the log provided by you.
                                    Let me put the issues in right perspectives again
                                    1. Why the two log (Your’s and mine) do not tally. Why Tata Indicom is befooling the customers. If my log is wrong why it is providing this wrong log to the customer which is misleading. What steps Tata Indicom is going to take to correct this misleading information database.
                                    2. Why my connection was not stopped in the month of June after I crossed the limit of Rs. 1700.00 (my allowable credit limit). Why was it stopped after I had reached a limit of Rs. 2917.00, this is also a misleading information of my credit limit. I suffered because of that.
                                    3. Why I was not provided the exact bill to deposit i.e. Rs. 2917.00 on 3rd July itself and told wrongly of the bill amount of Rs. 5792.00 (I recollect correctly if) and made to suffer till 11th July when I was told the correct bill of Rs. 2917 which I immediately deposited the same day. I could not use the internet for 8 precious days (a part of the next bill to be precise besides my work).
                                    4. I have made an analysis of the two log attached along with this. Kindly go through it and let me know your answer.
                                    5. How does a customer know that Tata Indicom is charging rightly and the log that it provides is correct?

                                    He told me the different nuances of the bill and I informed him about my view point. He tried to tell me when I was informed and the details of the bill etc. but my problem still remains the same. He even tried to give me a consolation that Tata Indicom is ready to give a discount of Rs. 500.00 which was refused by me flatly. My complaint is not limited only to the bill amount.
                                    14.7.2008: Telephonic talk to Ranjana from Chandigarh
                                    She spoke to at 10.15 to me and tried to tell again as to how the log will differ with that which I had. Then I told my view point and she promised to talk to me later.

                                    I have already lodged a complaint at most of the places of Tata Indicom including Appellette Authorities. I wanted to send you the copy of complaint to you as well as you are the nodal officer of Gujarat. Please find the updated complaint attached as annexure. It speaks of everything.
                                    14.7.2008: Telephonic Talk with Madam from Chandigarh
                                    Asked for Complaint details and promised to look into the matter. She tried to explain, that my log will differ from system log, as I might have not updated it from the website. I have never been told, or nowhere is it mentioned as to how to update the same from website. What are these logs which I have recorded and sent to you?

                                    13.7.2008: 0030 Hrs: Matter Emailed to Shri Ratan Tata
                                    I am a user of Tata Indicom internet usage and recently was billed in excess which I paid contrary to what the log shows. On enquiry I was told that the consumer log will always differ from system log. Question is how much in my case it differs by more than 300%. Kindly look into this matter, so that the customer is not fooled like me, in using the services of Tata Indicom.
                                    12.7.2008: 1850 Hrs.: I had a talk with Madam Pooja from Ahmedabad and she clarified issues and also promised to provide the log on Monday i.e.14.7.2008 and will call me back.
                                    12.7.2008: 1600 Hrs. I talked to Mr. Manual from Pune for clarification as to why my log does not matches with system log, he could not clarify the matter. Further I asked him if my credit limit is Rs. 1700 how I was allowed to use internet upto Rs. 2912.00, he had no answer. He further assured me that some expert on internet will speak to me shortly. But no one spoke to me.
                                    12.7.2008: Received letter from Pamela Desouza
                                    We acknowledge receipt of your complaint regarding excess billing. We are looking into the matter and will revert asap.

                                    12.7.2008: 1330 Hrs.: I have lodged the formal complaint with nodal officer Gujarat, appellate authority Gujarat, nodal officer corporate office
                                    12.7.2008: 12.50 AM: I had a talk with Minal at Ahmedabad and she replied that Supervisor is not available and she can’t help me right now and cannot provide the No. of Chandigarh office.
                                    I visited Tata Indicom office, Vadodara on 12.07.2008 and lodged a formal complaint with complaint no [protected]. I discussed the matter with Madam Indrani she replied consumer’s log will never match with system log.
                                    Thus Tata Indicom is fooling customers and taking them with ride by providing wrong log.






                                    12.07.2008: I hold a Tata Indicom no. [protected] with account no.[protected]. I was billed excess for the month of May 2008, but I didn’t complaint. Again I was billed heavily in the month of June 2008 for Rs 2917 instead of Rs. 900.00 the rental only.
                                    I contacted their Chandigarh office and several assistants talked but of no use some of them to name with are Mr. Sanjay and Ganesh on 11.7.08. These phone attendants should be removed from the job itself as they didn’t try to understand the problem and cannot handle a customer’s need.
                                    I have a log to prove my point that my usage is quite less. Accordingly my internet was disconnected from 3rd July to 11th July and my work suffered. When I asked how much money to be deposited to start my connection, one person told Rs. 5890.00 approximately or more. The other person Mr. Pankaj said he cannot reply till bill is generated on 11th. Only on 11th July I could know that I had to deposit Rs 2917 and I have deposited Rs. 3000.00. vide receipt no. 4014910.
                                    But I have to fight out this complaint with Tata Indicom India. I have to be refunded my excess money charged beyond my rental as no body could provide me the log of my usage till date.
                                    I charge them that they are billing excess or somebody else is using the net on my account.

                                      My name is Amit Kumar Choubey. I have taken TATAindicom mobile (MOTO Q) phone line connection. It's been for 3 to 4 months. I am not satisfied with TATA Indicom service. I would like to give up my phone connection. I had conversation with your Customer Care Executive. I was told by your Customer Care Executive, I have sent mail to customercare.[protected]@tatatel.co.in. My phone line already got disconnected long back. However, I am being charged as rental of phone line. I have told to customer care that i want to give-up my (Moto Q) handset to your office. They are not ready to take it back.

                                      Today I had called up that representative regarding same matter i had spoken to that marketing executive to whom i have given my papers regarding cell connection. He is telling that i have to surrender (MOTO Q hand set) to him. So that he will look after each everything. Moreover he is asking some amount to do this work.

                                      This executive is big fraud he has cheated many people in my company. Later I came to know that when I had spoken to my team members and colleague.

                                      I am really fed up with this thing. Every day I am getting call from TATA INDICOM office. Please so the needful action, other wise I would be obligate to take help of Consumer forum.

                                      I am working for HTMT as CSR (Customer Support Representative). I would take it up this matter in my company, So my management & other colleague will never get cheated through TATA indicom.

                                      I have a telephonic conversation with tataindicom coustomer executive for deactivation of caller tunes but i am not satisfied both have a diffrent views about deactivation first executive have a option of deactivation the callertunes on online basis and the other one said that we dont provide that kind of services both make me double minded . i just want to know how i would change my callertune without deactivation of services.

                                      I believe Tata group, I blindly go with Tata products until I choose TATA indicom, after became a customer of TATA indicom, now I feel where to choose any TATA products in the future,

                                      Worst service, normally they take minimum 5min to register complaint & 3-5days to attend the problem. Out of 365days more than 60days my phone was dead.

                                      No response, nobody know whom to contact….

                                      i have download the two songs on 1 nov.08 at 11 pm night...

                                        I'm the consumer of tata indicom number[protected]. I have to say you here regarding caller tune of my this tata indicom phone was changed by illegal mean due to which a vulgar tune comes in action. I don't know for how long this vulgar tune comes in action. People who are dialing said number tells us regarding vulagar caller tune.

                                        Tata Indicom providing vulgar tunes and kills family values with this type of scam. Tata Indicom's Customer Care executive saying that my caller tunes activated in the month of march 2008 then how it is possible to change caller tune without interfering data. Then it mean hacking in tata indicom system or some one of this company employee involve in this matter. I can not write those vulgar words here (Maa-Behn etc.).

                                        Tata Indicom involves in providing vulgar tunes. None of this company employee take headache to resolve this problem. Now i'm planning to go for legal action for this frustration and vulgar tune scandal.

                                        I made complaint regarding this matter on your customer care number @ 6:15pm dated 3oct2008. but no action till today.

                                        I requested one caller tune but unwantedly I am getting different unacceptable caller tune. I have send so many sms but all were vain. It needs to be changed immediately.
