I have taken Tata Indicom mobile on 8th Aug, 2008 .At that time the asked my time of avability at my house for sending the verification.They promised me that my cell will be activated in two working days, but they never come to my house and after 15 days i got the call that my verification has rejected and i have to submit again thesecurity amount that is 500/- and the security amount that i have given at the time of purchase of mobile will be reverted back through cheque, but i didnt get any cheque and also they never come at my time of availability for verification but they came for taking money.It became about more than 20 days and my mobile has not been activated and meanwhile i have contacted with customer care lot of time but no positive response i got.

Myself Sri Swaraj Kumar Das would like to inform all my freinds who are tata cellular phone users to say Tata to Tata.I have been given a number [protected] about a week back but it is yet to be activated.Every
time i visit their hub in Bhubaneswar, Odisha they say their server is down.Even i cannot recharge my prepaid phone.
I would like to send a message of caution to all top management team of Tata Phone to wake up.If you are not serious customers now have the choice to switch over to other cell service providers.With the number portabilty system customers are the kings.You just cannot retain your customers if you donot improve your service quality.Customers complaints need to be attended immediately.

    Sir I have a message that Recharge with minimum Rs 50 in next 5 days and get Rs.100 extra T2T. I have COntact many time to Customer Care they says that there has been no message gone to you from Tata indicom but I have recieved message. I Recharge with Rs.100 and I am not get my Rs.100 yet.

    I Specially Complainst Against your Customer Care that they talk 10 minute and than disconnect my line again and again.

      Sir,



      First of your customer care complaint on website is fake and doesnot works out.

      I have my tried my level best to float online complaint regarding my tele No [protected] but all in vain.

      For the last seven days or so, the STD facility is being disrupted on our tele No.[protected] inspite of our repeated complaint no cognizance has been seen and ultimately day b4 yesterday the same has been activated.

      It is not understood why the discontinuance of STD facility has been made and on which authority without the prior consent of the subscriber.

      The landline installed at our home is mainly for my old aged guardian as they have to frequent call on westbengal to their kith and kin but it is observed that the STD facility is being disrupted, the set has some or other problem, continous humming sound etc.

      Various unnecessary call from the customer care regarding one or other offers are being made but why the discontinuance of STD facility has not been made ?

      How is to blame for the same ? Whynot we ask for compensation for the harassment ?

      What action is being taken on our complaint ?

      The matter will be taken to Appellate authority and further consumer forum for their legal action ? We want compensation as we are the customer who pay the bill prior to the date of expiry and it can be verified by your staff deputed at Akash Ganga, Bhilai.

      The mental harassment and aberation caused to us must be compensated and requires your personal indulgence immediately.

      This may please be noted that the poor service condition and facility of TATA Indicom has bound to change our mindset for changing of connectivity. We pay for the service and facility and not for showing that we possess telephone connectivity. Duly considering the old age factor of my guardian for the STD call our representation for compensation is valid and requires your comments and action please.
      The worst service condition and its staff has lead us to change our mindset as stated above, the company must compensate for the same not only to us but for those has sufferred the same service condition.
      If the bill is not paid due to any circumstances, TATA Indicom disrupt the connectivity forthwith then why not the service rendered on the connectivity be made permanently if however the same can be discontinued due to some technical fault which is agreed to in principle but it is required to intimated prior to the commencement.
      The customer care are simply engaged in photosession or for the fashion show not for the customer service, simply putting the cream and powder will not satisfy the subscriber they want the service facility and not the fashion show.

        Hi, this is Balaji from Chennai. Tata Indicom Broadband is the worst ISP that I have ever come across. Their customer service/call center is the worst that I have ever spoken to (I should know since I am a Manager in a BPO!). Every time the executives tell you that the problem is being attended to, but nothing happens. When you ask them to transfer the line to their supervisor, they will put you on hold for a few minutes and then come back and say that all their supervisors are busy handling other customer calls (as though you are not their customer!). I have also sent an email to their nodal officer in chennai, but no response so far(see email below).

        "Sir,

        I have had the misfortune of taking a connection with TataIndicom Broadband. My service pack expired a few days back and I have been trying to renew it through your company's website for the past 48 hours without any success. Every time I try, there is an error message asking me to login again (I have been trying from my office since the net does not connect from home).

        I had the further misfortune of calling your toll-free number on the 8th Aug and a gentleman accepted that there is a problem with the website and that they are working on it and I will be able to renew the next day. But my misfortune compounded when I met with the same error message again today. I again called the toll-free number and a Mr. xxxx, who suggested vague things like checking with my bank (even though my attempts at renewal never even reached that stage!!!) finally suggested that I need to walk-in to a VSNL store and purchase a pack and categorically said that I cannot expect anything more in terms of service from an organization that carries an esteemed and well respected name and brand image.

        I have decided to get out of my misfortune since, as a paying customer, I feel that I need not have to beg for service. TataIndicom Broadband is not the only ISP in the country, afterall. I am going to wait for a day for anyone from your organization to call me and tell me how to go about renewing my account. If that does not happen, then I have decided to switch to another ISP who can give me a better service.

        Trust that this organization still carries some pride and service level that all Indians have come to recognize from the TATA brandname.

        P.S.: A couple of months back there was a link problem with my connection and at that time the same level of service was provided at your toll-free number. After a week of calling, I was forced to call the nodal officer to get it rectified. If every complaint needs to be looked into by the nodal officer, then why should there be a toll-free number and customer service dept.???

        No response from TATA Indicom Broadband so far. This one company is enough to tarnish the whole TATA name and erode the goodwill that they have earned over the last century.
        Never, ever get an internet connection from them in Chennai.

        Hi, I agree with you. Tata Indicom Broadband service sucks. Every time, I make a payment for renewal, the renewal does not happen, and i will go without the internet for at least a week.

        Since I am entrepreneur myself, I am at loss of words of how pathetic a service can be, that too from a household name, the Tatas. The problem is their customer care department does not exist. I tried all their numbers, and they are all busy right now, that is why I am taking the pain to write about it.

        I do not have a choice to shifting to any other service, as there is nobody here this side of the town. I live in Bangalore outskirts, beyond the Ring Road, with BSNL as my other connection.

        Right now, I don't what I should do about it. I have complained to them several times but nothing happens. I will end up not having internet for 1 week, that too after i make the payment through credit card for the renewal. Can somebody guide me on this.

        Tata indicom renewal is pathetic. I tried it for last 24 hours and I am getting Logged out every time I click the Pay by CC option. Finally I got hold of customer service and the technical asked me do I have another browser like Mozilla installed !! I cannot believe that they have a web application which works on Mozilla but not on IE.

        When I asked him about that, he gave me usual instructions to clear cache, delete temp files etc, but all was in vain. Finally I called the local representative and will buy the credit from him. So much for the "internet" provider.

        TATA Indicom — non-renewal of service

        Right from March onwards I have been requesting Tata Indicom (earlier vsnl) to renew my account from the over Rs 2000/- balance available in my account. However they keep asking for various information which I have always supplied; or seem to misunderstand my request. Finally after nearly 20 mails back and forth, I am told that my connection is terminated. This is totally unethical and arbitrary behaviour on their part. What happens to the unused balance that is lying in my account? And why this sort of behaviour when the very same request was considered last year itself?
        My e-mail ID ([protected]@vsnl.com) for which I had primarily kept the account going is also not accessible, and causes inconvenience as it was being used.
        I can forward all the mails between Tata Indicom customer service and me in case required.

          Dear sir,
          I was using TATA Indicom broadband prepaid connection in Bangalore

          I reported the non functioning of my broadband connection on Aug 25th 2008 & the response i got was the termination of the connection. That too after a week's follow up. The people in the customer care network found totally irresponsible. They have nodal officers for issues escalation. Most of the time their nos were switched off. When I could contact them, their answer was same as that of the regular helpline. Over the above, I got some calls from their Hyderabad office checking the status. If you ask some details to them they will disconnect the call.

          I renewed mu connection by paying Rs.843/- and couldn't use it for a single day. Now my connection is terminated by them & they say that the money cannot be refunded for prepaid accounts. This is quite pathetic. A reputed firm like TATA's shouldn't address customer issues like this.

          Dear Sir,
          I have been using Tata Broadband for more than 6 years but they are very poor in customer support . I feel BSNL are much faster
          & much cheaper . I have loged a complain on 03.07.2008 and they said that it will be rectified within 24 Hours but still there is no response .
          I once agains suggest all my frends to go for BSNL Broadband than
          Tata Broadband
          MY TATA BROADBAND IS NOT WORKING FOR THE PAST FOUR MONTHS. it was aprepaid connection. validty expired about two days back. They have the cheek to remind for revalidation.

          i applied for broad band connection and installation was not possible due to lack of feasibility
          they promised me to return check within 2 days but even after 90 days they have not returned my check
          i have spoken them three to four times but they simply give only false promises i was unable to go to offfice since i was busy in some work i need my check back tata broadband ...

          dont take tata broadband connection its better try airtel customer service is tooooo good if not switch to BSNL brodband connection is very good neverever take tata broadband connection many people are not satisfied with this third class broadband service and dont give check or cash or DD while taking they will come within one day but if connection is not possible that check will never come unless you go and complaint ten to 15 times in the office
          Dear All,

          I hav appliad to shift old tata broadban connection to new location on 5th may and executive told me that within 27 hours your request is solved and after 7 days I called to tata customer care on 12th may -I cann't get response, then I recomplain on 15th May - I cann't get response. Then every day I did call and I cann't get solution upto today.

          My suggetion is that never USE TATA BROADBAN CONNECTION, you have to repent.

          Totally POOR service of all customer care executive, never expect good answer form them.

          This is the second Complaint I am registering regarding Tata Internet Broadband Services. I have been a customer for more than 1 year now. Tata has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE for its internet services.
          My ID is [protected]@vsnl.net. I keep complaining about poor connectivity almost everyday. Such is their problem resolution. On the 19th of May I had complained of no connectivity. They said that the server was down and they expected it to be resolved only by 22nd. I checked regularly on the 20th , the 21st and the 22nd almost every hour to see if it was up as I had some urgent work pending. I registered the complaint on the 19th by 12.43 pm. I was able to connect only on the 22nd by 1.00 pm. Though I was unable to work on the net for more than 72 hours, I was still not provided the downtime credit. I called Billing to know if the downtime credit has been provided and spoke with a rep named Noor on the 24th of May who gave a request no 12261782 to raise a request for the downtime credit. Later on the 4th of June I called them to get the status. I was informed that I was not eligible to get the credit. The loss that I have faced because of the connectivity issue is too much. On top of this almost every alternative day , I register a complaint with them for no connectivity. They dont seem to be capable of finding a permanent solution as they dont have competent technicians. I

          t is a very disappointing experience for me with Tata.

          The nodal officer Hemalatha could not even be contacted over the number given on the internet. I had to inform this to the customer service reps . The number was always switched off. After repeatedly informing them about this, finally the number worked on the 4th of June. Hemalatha was not capable of taking a decision and she referred me to the Appellate authority , Christina Joseph who works from Mumbai. I tried her number too -[protected]. The ring just went on with no one picking up.

          I never imagined to get such pathetic customer service from such a reputed company.

            Dear Sir,

            Tata indicom broadband records indicate that we have done 3.5 GB o[censored]pload during a single day, which is impossible. We have licensed antivirus and all our PCs are virus free.
            The usage limit for our account is 20GB, due to mistake in records indicating 3.5GB upload the usage limit exceeds and we have to pay huge amount for additional usage...
            This is being repeated for 2nd months. Even after registering complaint nothing happens, we have been sending emails to Nodal office for pune and appilite authority but no solutioin given.

              Tata Broadband — Billing for period not used by me

              I have taken Broadband in Aug 2008. Application form has been submitted on 29 July 2008. Actual installation and access from my home has been started on 02/08/2008. But tata communication has sent me bill of Rs. 1156/- for the period 01/07/2008 to 31/07/2008 because as per their record registration has been done on 31/07/2008. But actual installation is done on 02/08/2008, then how can I pay the bill for month July in which I have not used it even for a second. Also even if I had used it for 31/07/2008, is it feasible to charge for a whole month.

              SIR, I AM USING TATA BROADBAND FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS NOW BUT FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS OR SO THE CONNECTION HAS FAILED MISERABLY. NO BACKUP AT DSLAM (TATA'S HUB) AND THE CONNECTION GOES OFF AND ON WITH POWER IN THE AREA. AND EVEN WHEN EVERYTHING IS IN ORDER ; THERE IS NO CONNECTIVITY.               Tata Broadband — Net Connection

              By this forum i want inform you
              i booked a tata broadband wiimax connection
              and i booked it on 13th oct.
              and that time executive was telling me that it will be started with in next four days.
              but still i am waiting for verification call.
              because after this call only all the process will be done.

              whenever i call executive and/or his ABM they never give me any satishfactory answer.
              Even feasibility is not an issue in my area.
              My cheque has been taken by him and now they are not receiving my phnoe.

              Tata Broadband — Shifting Connection

              Hello Sir,

              I am staying at Vadgaon Bk. Pune. I have given request of shifting connection from Karvenagar, Pune to Vadagaon Bk., Pune 20 days ago. Request Id for same is 1698203. Till this time they didn't transfer my connection. And they deducted 500 as service charge from account. Shifting department giving reason that non availability of connection port they are not able to shift connection. I am facing so much problem due to this. Can someone please look into this.

              I have made several complaints about regular disconnection during evening time (comp. nos. 7958266, 7990344,[protected] but the problem is not resolved till now.
              I have marked comments that i am not able to access the internet service due to permanent disconnection at 7 pm and onwards to next morning. I am able to access the service in the morning.
              whenever i lodge complaints about this your line man comes and ask me to call once to customer service[protected] and ask them to close the complaint as it is working in the morning on the behalf of your engineer's name.
              but tata broadband Engineer refused to resolve the problem saying that i cannot do nothing in this regard.

              If he is able to solve the problem then why he is working and how tata recruit these kind of person who does know about their field.

              Hello,
              My self nishant pofale, i have my own software development company in, Nagpur
              i have tata broadband connection in my company, for last 20 days we are fasing internet connection breaking problem.

              we are daily register our complent in customer care department.
              no one can solved my problem, no exective comes and check that problem
              i am geating frusted for this broadband connection.because of this i lost my two project also
              we are totally disturb for that.

              no one can solved my problem.please take legal action against tata indicom brodband .
              take action for that irresponsible local office(Nagpur) staff also .

              Tata broadband is worst ISP in the whole world
              I am a prepaid subscriber for broad band connection of Tata Indicom. In the month of April 2008, my account was misused by someone from their staff. I have been requesting them to explain about the same since more than one year. But no reply is received to my letters, emails and requests on telephone. There are frequent disconnections and no one responds. In the month of may and june I have registered as many as 20 complaints. I visited the local office but no senior person is ready to talk. Recently I bought Nero 8 software online from the ISP. The link provided to download software online did not work. I lodged complaint. But there was no response. I called on customer care. He asked me to try a link on internet explorer. It was too long and it was quite possible that it may not work. So I asked him that the link should be made available to me on email. Then immediately he started saying I am not able to listen to you properly. I could listen him quite clearly but he was not able to listen to me! Then abruptly the call was terminated. I could not get him on line again. The tata broadband is the worst ISP on earth. They charge money in advance and then don't give you any service at all.

              Tata Broadband — Cheating customer

              They take advance money for 4 months and even one month also you will not get proper service. You will waste your money and time in followup.               We are facing one problem since last week. The connection is getting disconnected while in use, for a few minutes and again it will be connected automatically. This disconnecting problem is occuring two three times in 15 minutes. As we are having video and audio conferencing, this disconnecting problems is a big headache to us.

              Tata Broadband — Shift of Location

              Sir,

              I had a Tata broadband connection. Nearly six months ago i applied for a shift of location (less than a kilometer of shift). I called the company customer care for months, encountered harrasment, spent money on calls, visits and submitted necessary documents. At no point of time was it told to me that this shift was NOT POSSIBLE. After about two months, when nothing happened, i decided to call it a day as i was facing a lot of problems.(I am in the IT field and need a connection frequently). I optede for a different ISP soon. Later i received a call from Tata saying this connection was going to be given to me and that a technician would be visiting my place to 'analyse the feasibility'. I told them i wanted to discontinue the service. They sent me someone to collect the Router (pl note during initiaion of my service, i was given a free router for a advance payment of four months.I am still confused as to what that 'Free' meant). I have been receiving mails from Tata about my outstanding bill of 1000+ during the time my connection was inactive. I even received calls to pay up the money. Today i received a legal notice for the same. Sir i donot have any problems paying up 1000k but the question still remains as to whether my losses as a customer were ever payed any heed to.

              I didn't want to go legal but am thinking if i should as i have multiple calls made to the Tata executives/officials time and again.
              The fact that Official communications are next to none also makes me believe whether Tata really needs to re-visit their customer-satisfaction norms.

              Hi,

              I am holding a Tata Wimax Connection.

              I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the use of your services.

              I chose to pay 6 months advance rental in order for me to get a free Wifi router.

              After applying for the connection, I received at least 5 phone calls asking for my address and what time would be suitable for me to get the connection installed. I do not understand what kind of systems you people run that so many calls were necessary.
              In addition another enquiry number was generated, which was different to the one provided to me when i applied for this connection.
              Inspite of all this, your engineers showed up at my residence at a time on 26th September which was not suitable for me.

              The connection was installed at my residence on 26th September 2009.
              However, either due to the incompetence of your engineers, or due to the bad equipment you provide them, they were unable to drill a hole through a wall to bring a wire inside to connect the router to the dish they had installed.
              However, inspite of this installation which was supposed to be your responsibility, I continued to trust in your services because I regard the Tata name with high service quality. I was asked by (Mr Manoj, [protected]) to get this installation done on my own.
              Why not? If you guys can't do it, just tell the customer to do it himself!

              I then proceeded to get the hole drilled at my OWN EXPENSE and was accomplished in a week.
              After calling up your manager (Mr Manoj, [protected]) and informing him that I had done what his incompetent people could not, he informed that he shall send me his engineers once again. But he did request me once to "remind him again tomorrow, or else he will forget"!!!
              What kind of service quality do you people maintain that you have to be "reminded"!!!

              Anyways, when I asked what is he sending his engineers for, he didn't have an answer. I informed him the connection has been installed and I am waiting for the free wi-fi router only.
              I was told that I shall be getting this within 30 days of installation directly from the company.
              This was NEVER made clear to me. As a result I have not used your internet connection for the first 3 weeks, since there is no wireless router. Of course you are charging me for the same! Needless to say, the wireless router has yet not arrived.

              Finally when I decided to use the connection by directly connecting the system instead of waiting for the wireless router, the connection refused to work. I called up customer care, and I was told that someone would be sent to my place the next day. They asked me a suitable time, and I informed them after 8 PM (apologies for this, since I DO work in an office and get back home late).
              Amazingly your engineer did show up, but in the middle of the day, when I was not around. Now why did you ask a suitable time when there was no intention of him showing up at that time? Perhaps you should have just sent him without asking me a suitable time. Though I do appreciate, he did fix the problem.

              Today is 17th October 2009. I got the connection installed on 26th September.
              Exactly 3 weeks to the date.
              No Wireless Router in sight.
              No Welcome kit in sight.

              Perhaps I made a mistake in trusting in you and making an advance payment of 6 months.

              Please do not call me.
              I do not have the patience to take your calls.
              Just deliver my damn wireless router if its not too much trouble.

              Tata Broadband — Getting bill without connection

              I got new tata broadband connection in Dec 09 and after using 10 days I started getting calls you have exceeded your limt and pay the bill to use the service, I was surprized as it was unlimited plan and bill was fix 1000 INR / Month. The bill went to 12000INR in month and then at month end it was adjusted to free usage and bill was discounted. During this process by 15th Dec 09 I loggged a complain to disconnect the connection and applied for BSNL home Plan 750. TATA and BSNL connection was given to me by same exchange (Private Exchange in Kharadi, Pune). Since it was broadband, using Phone wire in Jan 10, TATA connection was removed and BSNL connection was installed in my Flat. I paid Tata Broadband for 1 month usage. I have the bill. I am still getting the bills and no executive is listing to me that I do not have the connection, the wire was removed how can you send me the bills. Please help!

              This is to bring to your notice the unprofessional service I am being offered from Tata broadband services continuously over a period of time. I have taken the connection for nearly one year and have been facing continuous technical issues right from the beginning. I was experiencing loss of connectivity almost every day which would be rectified only after making calls to your technical support which became a daily process. But a graver problem was identified when heavy usage had been made under my account between August 2nd to 10th, even when my modem was out of order and unusable, by somebody else other than me. It is evident that I could not have been using the connection from my side as the modem was down. This could be verified by the complained I lodged on August 2nd. Acting on our complaint, I was told by the tech support that our problem was rectified on August 8th, but in reality it was not resolved till 10th. But again after 1-2 days, the connection was down and again I lodged a complaint and the tech people from Cochin came here only to tell me that my password has been changed without my knowledge. I contacted the tech support and informed them of this issue to which they said that heavy usage has been registered under my account on August 5th when the modem was down..This clearly shows that my account had been hacked and password was changed. There is no chance of leak of password from my side as I am the only one aware of it and it’s impossible for a third person to know about it except your technicians. I complained about this issue to your support and asked them to find the culprit. They initially responded positively but further investigation was not done.My later enquiries regarding the status of the case was met by very cold and vague responses from your side who was just adamant on getting the bill paid rather than solving the issues.. I had experienced excess usage almost all months beyond my personal usage which I am sure was due to the password theft.
              In this present scenario of competition when companies are on our door steps, it is very unfortunate and incredible to know that a company of your stature is providing such poor customer service. I had preferred you to other internet service providers with lot of expectations but my experience proved me very wrong.
              Owing to these reasons I would like to disconnect the internet services as soon as possible. Please take the necessary steps to close the stop the connection.

I complained regarding the same to customer care on 16th September,2010 morning through 60607070 and I got a complaint number 12878618. They had promised me that the complaint would be resolved in 4 hrs. I again lodged one more complaint on the same day evening and got the complaint number12881122. I waited till next day. But when i called up to the customer care next day 17th September,2010 i found that both the complaints are closed after talking to people Rajesh and Ashok from my office. But I dont have any employee in my office by those names. Then I got a new complaint number12882860. Regarding this i spoke to the customer 5 times and spoke to many team leaders, managers but instead of solving the problem they were simply keeping me on hold and passing the cal to each other. Finally on 18th Septmeber,2010 afternoon by 2:30PM one person by name Ranjit Das called me from [protected] and gave me the contact of a technician number. When i called him he said he will come to my place within halfanhour. But he didnt turned up till 4:30PM. When i constantly called him he dint received the call and finally he received the call and talk to me rudely, YES I WONT COME, YOU DO WHAT YOU WANT". When I asked his full name, his reply was,"YOU GET FROM WHERE YOU GOT MY NUMBER". Again I called back to customer care and tried to get the solution but the customer care people were already aware of my complaint history and started passing the calls to each other and making fun on my complaints while i was online. None of the customer employees starting from CCE till MANAGER empathised my problem.

I understand that today is the last date for paying the last month's bill. Since you have not yet corrected the errors in the bill, I have not been able to make the payment.                   Dear Sir/Ma'm,

                  My Name is Jitendra and using a Tata Indicom Postpaid mobile connection # [protected]. The day took this connection, Tata Indicome has made my life hell. I called Tata Indicom sales number and desired to take a new connection, the very next day I got a call that they are sending the executive to collect the payment and documents. They sent it and executive came to my address directly. But they took 7-8 to activate my connection. Reason: address is in NDPL(I don't know what is this). When I complained about this. They again took my documents and then after so many request/ complaints they activated my number.
                  When they have to take some money sale a connection, they will do work in Rocket speed. when they have to serve someone, speed will be poorer than an ant.

                  Now come to second point, very very very poor network, poor connectivity and Always call dropping and result customer have to pay more.

                  When they activated my connection, they told me that your credit limit will be increased after every two months depending your usage. But till yet, same credit limit Rs. 1500.

                  I am running an NGO in the name of JEEVANRAKSHAK. And most of our work depends on cellphone. So, I thought to take Tata Indicom for little saving. In my airtel my credit limit is Rs. 5500. After taking Tata Indicom I changed my airtel number tarrif plan to minimal rental, hence call rates increased. Now, Tata Indicom has disconnected my STD. Now again I have to use Airtel. Its my loss.

                  Last time same problem occured and requested increase my credit limit or disconnect the connection. Someone from Tata Indicom called me and told me that not to go for disconnection and they have already increased my Credit Limit. (Fake Promise.. Poor Tata Indicom ). No credit limit increased. and my STD Barred.
                  Now, Let me tell you a very interesting fact. In Tata Indicom I am having a plan of Rs. 275 rental, in which every call /SMS in india (National/Local) is just Rs. 0.50
                  So, Either i make STD or Local it will cost me only .50 but, still they have barred my STD. I don't think so that local calls cost is not included in credit limit.

                  So, My request is only one, Either increase my credit limit and activated my STD
                  or
                  Disconnect my connection. I am not going to give any interim payment to Tata Indicom, I donot believe these poor guys now.

                  My outstanding amout that I will pay by cheque only and at the time of my due date.

                  If you can re activate my STD without any interim payment. do it or disconnect the service.


                  Message to All: Friends Be aware, please think [protected] times before purchasing a new connection of Tata Indicom. Because you cannot use the mobile handset after disconnecting it. That will the waste of money and Resale value of Tata Indicome handset is almost in 70 % depreciation.
                  And a single rupee matters sometime.

                      20.05.08 – 24.05.08afternoon No connectivity status continues
                      24.05.2008 (4:00 – 7:00 PM) Connectivity existed for usage
                      24.05.08 7PM onwards No connectivity status continues
                      24.05.08 – 27.05.08 No connectivity status continues
                      27.05.2008 Tata Indicom Broadband technicians dismantled the broadband (DSL) unit in the pretext of installing Y-MAX connection.
                      27.05.08 – 16.06.08 No broadband as the internet unit was dismantled.
                      17.06.2008 Connectivity restored with the installation of Y-MAX connection.

                      I have been complaining from the 4th of august 2008, continuously requesting for an extension of my internet service to make up for the discontinued service from the 20th of may 2008 to the 16th of june 2008.

                      I am very disappointed to inform you that the quality of customer service provided by you is extremely poor due to lack of quick response.

                      I am tired of calling customer care everyday to enquire about my connection status. Every time I was informed that, they need to forward the complaint again, as no measures have been taken in this regard yet.

                      It is sad to know that Tata Indicom Internet Services which claims that they respond to customers complaint within 24 hours, has not been able to respond to my issue for the past 14 days (336 hours).

                      Now they say I will get an extension of three days only after renewing my account. I don’t understand as to why I have to undergo a loss for the non usage on those 27 days of disconnection.

                      As your company has not responded to my complaint till now, I would no longer wish to get any kind of extension or service from your side. I had gone in for a three month plan of which 27 days of service could not be utilized because of the poor service provided by you.

                      I request you to refund my money for those 27 days of disconnection of services and terminate my broadband service immediately and settle my account. I was expecting better internet service.

                      If my account is not settled early, I would be forced to take the help of the media and other legal action.

                        dear sir, this is ankit kumar, i have tata post paid conection no.[protected].at 11august i got message that my bill exceed over to my credit limit which is 750. then executive told me to deposite 200 rupees at 12 of august to take service intrupted. i deposited 200 at 12 of august my they made my std calls barred. at 12 of aug. i talked to there supervisor mr. jitener and he made my call cut twice. then there supervisor mr. gursevek told me to deposit 398 rupees to make service ok. at 10am on 14 th of aug. but by 4.30 pm my calls were debarred. then i called at nodal office and there i talked with mr.AJAY SANGWAN. he assured me that my calls will be unbarred within 1 hour but till now my calls are debarred.sir my business is totally base on telefone and due to there service faliour i suffered monetary as well as mentally peace lose . and when i asked compensasion mr, ajay sangwan told me that there are no compensasion. and when i told him to transfer my call to nodal officer then he denied to tarnsfer my call. i am suffered by there service and i demand RS.20000 as compensasion. sir please help me out.

                          I have purchased the TATA Indicom plug to surf of Rs 4000 after that they send me bills some time Rs 600, Rs 900, Rs 2000 even i have not used it because i not works due to pirated XP. It runs only on original XP.

                          After fedup with the high bills and bad services i have decided to discontinue with TATA indicom service and i have told them same on phone.

                          After one year of this disconnection one day a phone call comes to me regrding the same said there is one case has been filed against you into Patiyala house court becaue you have not paid Rs 1255 bill to TATA indicom I was stunn at my work station after this call it was 3:30 PM i have left from my office at the same time and I have paid the bill same day after running here and there.

                          I respect TATA but from that day I have decided i will not use anything of TATA because they have looted my money.When i have dissconnected this service and inform your guys for the same via phone.

                              The speed of browsing as well as that of download is dead slow. Moreover, the speed+ software that is recommended to increase the speed doesn't works at all and the speed+ server is either busy or not reachable most of the times. At the time of buying, they told that a varying download speed of 30-40 kbps would be available but it all turned out to be fake... i'm currently getting a download speed of max. 2-3 kbps after using the speed+ as well as an another download accelerator. So it's my advice to u people that don't buy this stuff, they are just cheating people with this product...
                              Tata indicom works properly but its not having the speed for download. All my friends who use the plug2surf are complaining about the slow downloading proceess. My advice is try Reliance or some other.

                              i completely agree with the complaint. i think tata indicom is the most cheater company of the country. what they told they never follow. they just sell their device by cheating innocent people. plz never buy any thing of tata indicom.
                              The speed of plug and surf is very low so plz provide any facility to increase the speed, .
                              I am also of the opinion that the Tata Indicom plug to surf is dam slow and getting the connection is also very problematic. If I try 10 times only it connects once. I never been able to use the speed+ server as well. and when I connect also I gets below 2 - 3 kbps.

                                  I bought a tata indicom post paid connection through a very eager sales executive (Mr Prabhakar) of Tata Indicom in pune.

                                  The response at the time of purchasing the connection was fast since the employee had to collect payment. Since the day (10 july 08) i got the connection i have been running after the agent to get my phone activated but he is not bothered about it.

                                  His boss, assistant manager-pune, Mr Hemant, also has the same attitude and puts the reponsibility on customer care with me stranded completely.

                                  I have spoken to the customer care several times about my phone activation but its needless to describe their attitude.

                                  Each day is wasted arguing with customer care, Mr prabhakar,
                                  Mr Hemant etc and they giving false promises. most of the time they dont pick up the phone. if they do, they argue. the work never gets done.

                                  It has caused immense loss of security since i live alone without an active phone, mental harassment and loss of time and money in this affair.

                                    Every body,
                                    I opted for 384kbps line of tataindicom broadband connection prepaid in advance rental scheme.My daily usage is hardly 6 hours.and the timing is fixed that is 10.00 am to 4.00pm.after that my office will close and then no need for connection.

                                    Now the problem comes here.from 11.30 to 4.00pm there will be no net and it comes after 4.00pm.then tell me what is the use of paying heavy amount for broadband.they cant even provide the network for 6 hours.I pity on tat people.

                                    it is better for tata people to say that "we are incapable to provide network for atleast six hours.and we withdraw our concept of broadband".

                                    then people may think other networks.

                                    they are simply torturing/damaging/wasting/ what ever possible way they are spoiling the great tata name.

                                    atleast the top management should consider the issue.

                                    any how the mouth publicity is more powerful than media publicity and if once name is out from market its hard to get into the market.

                                      tata indicom wireless phone — No Support

                                      I had procured a Tata Indicom Wireless landline three years ago. Now I got a IBM loptop which is having USB port only not having serial port. While getting that line they committed that internet can be connected from that phone. Now that model they have provided is not having a USB port connection. I am not able to connect the internet through the serial port they have provided with the phone.

                                      They asked me to change the telephone model what i am having and i have to pay Rs. 1000 for changing this. The facility what they are giving for connecting internet should support laptop and desktop if not means its there technical impotency they have to give solution for that.

                                      Then the battery in the phone gone off i called there customer care they are saying to procure it from the market they wont be providing.

                                      I never seen such a customer care in my life. The phone wireless phone is a useless phone while talking most of the time the line is getting disconnected.

                                      I have taken Tata Indicom Prepaid connection on 23-Apr-09, immediately they activated that connection and I have submited all documents on same time only, but on 26-Apr-09 afternoon my cell deactivated when I called to customer care they told me that your documents still not reach to us so we have disconnected this connection till today it's not activated?

                                      If you dont want to receive from the company just you need to do is make a call to your customer care for tata indicom and register your no. in DO Not Disturb list. then you will not get calls from the company.I am highly satisfied with tatas services.

                                        Dear Sirs,
                                        I am more than 6 years old customer of vsnl (not tata communications) and i am facing lots of problem with tata's connection on regular basis. Since last two months, i was able to do work not more than 10 days though i had paid for unlimited transfer. I am regularly registering the complaints with customer care, but in spite of their repeated assurance, problem is still there and after the non working of 15 days in july again internet is not working. Also i was not able to work whole of the june due to non functioning of internet.
                                        Now again i am not getting my connection in working order in spite of verbal assurance from customer care.
                                        I was not given any contact nos of their zonal heads, or other related officer to who i can covey my problem.

                                        Once the modem is repaced, most of the time Power and LAN light is on, all other lights are off.
                                        I made so many complaints regarding this problem with complaint no. 9337288 on 01/04/09.but its useless.
                                        Daily I make complaint to the customer care but they are help less to do anything.

                                        I have to use Reliance connection to access internet when your connection goes off. Now I am fed up with this problem.
                                        At least you appoint someone who knows something about it.

                                        What should I do with this toy?
                                        Can you return my money back? when and how? I would like to get your response immediately.

                                        i am using this broadband connection for more than 3 years. i am facing lot of problems in this broadband there is no response from hyour local office. even after repeated complaints no one is picking up the phone for even complaints and services. suppose if this trend continues i dont have any option either to withdraw the service
