I have moved to a new home last month and hence wanted to move my connection. But it was told to me that the area is not feasible and also they cannot refund my amount paid for the prepaid connection. Have complained to the nodal officer but all in vain. Have wrote to the appelate officer but every time he simply forwards the issue to the nodl officer.

This is cheating the customer as against the quality of service that the Tatas promise the customer

Tata Indicom Broadband Connection — Shifting of Connection

Hi,

I am a 1year old customer of Tata Internet Broadband Internet services. I have applied to shift my connection from old to new location ie., from BhagyaNagar Colony Kukatpally to Sardar Patel Nagar (Adj.VasanthNagar) in July 2008 and i have renewed my connection in the same month.

I have submitted all my documents to the office (located at Roxona Towers, Begumpet). I spoke with TATAIndicom CustomerCare executives (Ph.[protected] for the above issue. I had interacted with the executives (Anusha, Naresh, Sandya, VijayKumar, Prakash, Omkareswari and many more)

I have sent mail to nodalofficer.[protected]@tatacommunications.com & [protected]@tatacommunications.com, no response is received.

No update about my shifting of location / changing my connection from DSL to WiMAX.

I dont know how much time these people will take time to do above job. I lost my precious Time & Money.

If any one having any higher official details like phone / email, i will escalate to them.

    Reminder1 :18.07.2008 : I was told that a suitable reply will be made at the earliest after examining the case. So the entire Tata office takes more than a week to arrive at a suitable answer since I appealed to them. I have already a log to prove my point which I have already put forward. I once again appeal to refund my excess amount paid towards the bill of May and June. Also I expect that Tata will incorporate changes in their software so that the customer gets the correct log.
    I request the appellate authorities as well to look into this case urgently.
    18.07.2008 :A reminder of the Complaint also sent to Shri Ratan Tata
    I am attaching the log duly provided by you, as well as the analysis of the log of mine (already sent to you) viz. – a – viz the log provided by you.
    Let me put the issues in right perspectives again
    1. Why the two log (your’s and mine) do not tally. Why Tata Indicom is befooling the customers. If my log is wrong why it is providing this wrong log to the customer which is misleading. What steps Tata Indicom is going to take to correct this misleading information database.
    2. Why my connection was not stopped in the month of June after I crossed the limit of Rs. 1700.00 (my allowable credit limit). Why was it stopped after I had reached a limit of Rs. 2917.00, this is also a misleading information of my credit limit. I suffered because of that.
    3. Why I was not provided the exact bill to deposit i.e. Rs. 2917.00 on 3rd July itself and told wrongly of the bill amount of Rs. 5792.00 (I recollect correctly if) and made to suffer till 11th July when I was told the correct bill of Rs. 2917 which I immediately deposited the same day. I could not use the internet for 8 precious days (a part of the next bill to be precise besides my work).
    4. I have made an analysis of the two log attached along with this. Kindly go through it and let me know your answer.
    5. How does a customer know that Tata Indicom is charging rightly and the log that it provides is correct?

    She informed me that my detailed log is mailed to me and I reiterated the different issues to her
    14.7.2008: Telephonic talk to Mr. Pankaj from Chandigarh with whom I had a talk earlier on 10.07.08
    He told me the different nuances of the bill and I informed him about my view point. He tried to tell me when I was informed and the details of the bill etc. but my problem still remains the same. He even tried to give me a consolation that Tata Indicom is ready to give a discount of Rs. 500.00 which was refused by me flatly. My complaint is not limited only to the bill amount.
    14.7.2008: Telephonic talk to Ranjana from Chandigarh
    She spoke to at 10.15 to me and tried to tell again as to how the log will differ with that which I had. Then I told my view point and she promised to talk to me later.
    14.7.2008: Complaint emailed to Mr. Bhasker Sharma, Nodal Officer, Gujarat
    I have already lodged a complaint at most of the places of Tata Indicom including Appellette Authorities. I wanted to send you the copy of complaint to you as well as you are the nodal officer of Gujarat. Please find the updated complaint attached as annexure. It speaks of everything.
    14.7.2008: Telephonic Talk with Madam from Chandigarh
    Asked for Complaint details and promised to look into the matter. She tried to explain, that my log will differ from system log, as I might have not updated it from the website. I have never been told, or nowhere it is mentioned as to how to update the same from website. What are these logs which I have recorded and sent to you.

    This is with reference to your email dated July 11, 2008 regarding your TATA Indicom number [protected]. We value your association with Tata Indicom and we would not like to lose your patronage. We sincerely regret for the delay in attending to your complaint and the inconvenience caused due to the same. As per mail regarding billing, we would like to inform that your complaint is already under process vide docket number[protected]. We shall confirm the status to you once the processing is complete.     13.7.2008 : 0030 Hrs : Matter Emailed to Shri Ratan Tata
    I am a user of Tata Indicom internet usage and recently was billed in excess which I paid contrary to what the log shows. On enquiry I was told that the consumer log will always differ from system Log. Question is how much in my case it differs by more than 300%. Kindly look into this matter, so that the customer is not fooled like me, in using the services of Tata Indicom.
    12.7.2008 : 1850 Hrs. : I had a talk with Madam Pooja from Ahmedabad and she clarified issues and also promised to provide the log on Monday i.e.14.7.2008 and will call me back.
    12.7.2008 : 1600 Hrs. :I talked to Mr. Manual from Pune for clarification as to why my log does not matches with system log, he could not clarify the matter. Further I asked him if my credit limit is Rs. 1700 how I was allowed to use internet upto Rs. 2912.00, he had no answer. He further assured me that some expert on internet will speak to me shortly. But no one spoke to me.
    12.7.2008 : Received letter from Pamela Desouza
    We acknowledge receipt of your complaint regarding excess billing.
    We are looking into the matter and will revert asap.
    12.7.2008: I have also lodged my complaint on Complaints Board.com with complaint No. 177112
    12.7.2008 : 1330 Hrs. :I have lodged the formal complaint with nodal officer Gujarat, appellate authority Gujarat, nodal officer corporate office
    12.7.2008 : 12.50 AM : I had a talk with Minal at Ahmedabad and she replied that Supervisor is not available and she cant help me right now and cannot provide the No. of Chandigarh office.
    I visited Tata Indicom office, Vadodara on 12.07.2008 and lodged a formal complaint with complaint no [protected]. I discussed the matter with Madam Indrani she replied consumer’s log will never match with system log.
    Thus Tata Indicom is fooling customers and taking them with ride by providing wrong log.






    12.07.2008 :I hold an Tata Indicom no. [protected] with account no.[protected]. I was billed excess for the month of May 2008, but I didn’t complaint. Again I was billed heavily in the month of June 2008 for Rs 2917 instead of Rs. 900.00 the rental only.
    I contacted their Chandigarh office and several assistants talked but of no use some of them to name with are Mr. Sanjay and Ganesh on 11.7.08. These phone attendants should be removed from the job itself as they didn’t try to understand the problem and cannot handle a customer’s need.
    I have a log to prove my point that my usage is quite less. Accordingly my internet was disconnected from 3rd July to 11th July and my work suffered. When I asked how much money to be deposited to start my connection, one person told Rs. 5890.00 approximately or more. The other person Mr. Pankaj said he cannot reply till bill is generated on 11th. Only on 11th July I could know that I had to deposit Rs 2917 and I have deposited Rs. 3000.00. vide receipt no. 4014910.
    But I have to fight out this complaint with Tata Indicom India. I have to be refunded my excess money charged beyond my rental as no body could provide me the log of my usage till date.
    I charge them that they are billing excess or somebody else is using the net on my account.

    “REFUND OF LONG OUTSTANDING INSTALLATION ADVANCE’’
    Sir,
    1. I, Ram Chandra Saw from Indian Air Force Faridabad, put-up a request for Tata internet connection through Dabua colony’s franchisee of Faridabad by paying Rs 800/- as advance on 2 Nov 07.

    2. On 7 Nov 07 one representative from Tataindicom came with WLL instrument (no.[protected]CAF No-608248, DL No. 038403) for installation.
    i) I enquired from the rep-- whether the instrument is internet compatible or not?
     He replied in affirmative.
    ii) I enquired – What will be the internet speed?
     He turned blank face showing inability.
    3. With rep’s mobile I enquired from CC about the internet speed. CC replied that speed will be 40 to 60 kbps. This speed was much lower than my requirement. The representative asked my permission for the installation, but since I wasn’t satisfied with the speed hence I asked the representative not to proceed with the installation.

    3. Tata installation representative has kept the WLL instrument back & appraised his office about the development. He filled a billing address verification form with remark -- cancel the connection, and asked me to sign on form. He told me that he has already written to cancel the connection so that on receipt of this form advance will be returned within a month time.

    4. On the said form I signed with my remarks - Not accepted & cancelled the connection due to low internet speed committed. I got one copy of said form Xeroxed for future references which is still with me and can be produced as and when required.

    6. I registered my first complaint to CC (No 98476847 dtd 24 Dec 07 at 5 pm).I sent number of emails to Nodal officer also but nodal officer is bend upon not to refund my deposit. He insists upon that connection was activated.

    7. I emphasize that connection was not installed and returned inactivated. I have got a written proof for that from the Tata representative who came for the installation.

    8. I, therefore, request the concerned authority to look into a year old matter and do the needful at the earliest so that advance of Rs 800/- is returned at the earliest. Your kind act will save the poor and helpless consumer to retrieve the advance which is long pending.

    Sir,
    To start with, the Executives of your Tohana Centre approached us to avail the services of TATA INDICOM. On getting convinced and based on your reputation in the field, we decided to avail the services. We initially requested for 30 connections with the rider that 15 connections would be activated and remaining 15 would be got activated after a month or so. The proposal came into operation with all the 30 connection activated even when the security had been deposited only for 15 connections. We came to know of it when the bill of Rs. 7876 was raised and received by us on Sept. 15. We immediately contacted your team at TOHANA with no result. Then we contacted Mr. Ajay Duggal at Karnal on Sept. 24 with all the details on Telephone and also through E-Mail. He advised us to lodge a complaint on Telephone Numbers given by him. We acted accordingly.

    Thereafter, Mr. Ashok Kumar from INDICOM TOHANA personally visited us at our office and directed us to make the payment of all those connections, in operation and make the partial payment. Thus we paid Rs. 4045/- and obtained the receipt. It is surprising to note that after an hour all the connection were deactivated and the system came to stand still. We contacted him but he told that the connections would be activated only when the full payment had been made. This is nothing but cheating, deceiving and harassment and further amounts to lack of services specially when he uttered the words that if “I had not given the option, you would not have made even the partial payment.” We cannot take it lying down and wish to take the matter to its logical end by going to the Consumer Court and claim damages there off. Due to the shutting off the connections our business matters have heavily suffered the losses. Even at the time of writing this letter, all the connections are cut-off.

    Would you like to take appropriate action against your team at TOHANA and specially against Mr. Ashok Kumar who acted in a manner not expected of a gentleman, immediately or else we file a suit of damages in the Consumer Court. You may prefer to act at the most in a week.

    Infr systems — Excess Billing

    Dear Sir,

    Airtel is charging Excess amount in their monthly bills, several times i have complained but no affect.
    How the India Govt tolerate this looting subscribers? is any rule to watch this
    cheater like airtel.
    Daily i got SMS from airtel mentioning your unbilled amount is XXX.when comparing
    manually there is 10rs difference.
    Please help and take action .

      Hi,

      My name is Radhika Garg. My telephone no. is [protected]. I have been using this number since past 6 months now. I have taken couple of plans on this number out of which one plan is 25 paise call on one STD number. Recently, I have changed the STD number under this scheme. From past 6 months, my bill have never exceed the amount from Rs.[protected]. This month Tata Indicom has barred the call services from my number saying that my current usage has exceeded the credit limit. They said it is more than Rs 3000 now, which is next to impossible for me. However, last week I talked to customer care executive and he agrees that there is fault in the bill and will be resumed back. The services would be back in place. Since then I have been getting periodic calls from customer care, they have been giving me different dates for the services being given back, but till date I have not got any solution. Please help me out on this.

        Sir i am using tata indicom broadband connection past 5 month my login id [protected]@vsnl. Net
        Past 45 days i am facing lot of problem in my broadband connection connection lost for 2 to 3 days continuesly. Even i recieved 26 days of downtime credit for my connection lost from tata broadband connection. And i paid the advance amount for 5 month. Still i am facing the same problem after meeting to the head mr sarvanna & area manager mr. Sarat in chetpet office.

        Please suggest me what i have to do for this problem to be rectify even because of this connection lost i loss my many bussiness proposals income.

        1 hour or 2 hour is sence but 2 days & 3 days connection lost is totally nonsense. Please help me.

        Tata Indicom (Broadband service) — Very poor customer service..

        Iam facing this problem since last 72 hours that im not able to coneect to the internet and every time i call up the customer care i only get one respone that is the issue will be resolved in 2 working hours but its not close to 27 working hours gone but no response yet from their engineers..plus there are no managers at the customer care center to attend escaleted issues..

        Sad customer service s__cking customer service..

        Tata Indicom Broadband — neglegence

        Complaint number 3785782 dated 07/10/2007 daily fighting with customer care executive sitting in hyderabad and attending chennai subscribers complaint. Today when I offered 1000/- to jagdish as reward around 7pm immediately 9pm one mr.sheik calls from[protected] saying sir check your internet started working. Customer number [protected],[protected] all dummy. jagdish from[protected]. What a customer should understand from this. the higher officer number are not at all provided by the customer care executive to subscriber. Sir please take necessary step.

        Hi:

        I'm a Tata Indicom broadband customer for the last 8 Weeks. out of this the broadband connection has been down for 5 weeks. And the latest problem has been unresolved for the last 3 Weeks. I've spoken to the Cust-Care reps 7 times (Naresh, Joji, Praveen, Vijay etc.) and Shiva (Supervisor) in the last 3 weeks. Here are the issues:

        1. Nobody is able to tell me what the problem. The timelines that I've been told have long passed by.
        2. There is no commitment from either the tech support or the field service team. Nobody has got back to me with an update. Despite being told that I will have an update within 24 hours.
        3. Nobody is willing to share the escalation path with the customer. Neither are they willing to let the customer speak to the managers. I had to wait for 1 Hour (yes, thats right.) on the phone to be connected to the suppervisor, who of course did not make a difference to the problem.

        My recommendation: Make a radical change to the customer support. Its pathetic to say the least. Tata has a great name, don;t lose it.

        I for one will stop giving any business to VSNL / Tata Indicom, disconnecting the broadband connection and going to the consumer court.

        TATA Indicom — Complaint- PATHETIC SERVICE

        I logged a complaint for non working of my Internet Tata Indicom[protected]on 12th October (Docket No:[protected] after logging the complaint I was assured that within 12 hours the matter will be taken up. But there was no response till 16th, so again I logged in a complaint on 16th October (Docket number[protected]. The same assurance of 12 hours was given to me, which again resulted in the same situation.
        So as usual I called again on 17th (Docket No:[protected] where I was informed by the customer care officer that some one named Shiney had infact called me & had a talk with me. The funny part is that I was not aware of that some one from Tata called me.
        End of the day the result is same, till date no person has come to rectify the issue. I do have received calls for asking the address but not from Shiney but I don’t know y they ask for the address if they don’t intend to come....

        Tata Indicom Broad band Internet — More than 15 days still they have not been able to rectify

        I have a Tata Indicom Broad Band service .. but my connection was disconnected on 8th.. on 9th October. i logged a complaint with Tata Indicom .My complaint no is 3812408 and till now even after daily follow ups there has been no response from technical side.

        I have got several answers from the call center executives of Tata Indicom like there was a wire cut.. the cables are getting replaced, server was down, etc. But till now even after 18 days nothing has happened.

        I rate it as one of the worst service providers when it comes to technical problems. Even perhaps BSNL gives a better service than this.

        Either they are highly inefficient or incapable to solve even such minor problems.

        Till date the technical team has never bothered to give a call or ask about the status of the complaint.

        I prefer to disconnect Tata Indicom Broadband and advice everone with regard to the quality of service provided by this company.
        I am also facing the same problem with tata indicom and in the past 3 months I called the customer care for 11 times, alsmost once a week.. pathetic service... please avoid it. and as i took the prepaid connection they don't want to return my money also..

        Tata Indicom Broadband — Tata Indicom Broadband is awful!

        Hi All,

        With all regrets, I would want to go ahead and Declare that the Customer Service Skills in your Department is the worst in INDIA. Its disgusting to know that you guys service this company, the very same company which Jehangir Tata had set up. I'm one of his big fans and I respect all the TATA clan firms. However I was shocked to notice that the Customer Service Dept of the Tata Indicom Broadband department is cheating people and all the guys working in this firm are working for money and not for the customers. They have pathetic Business Knowledge , Poor English Command [for the matter of fact , I haven't found anyone from the Customer Service who can speak proper english]. All of them make up stories for each others fault.

        My Torrid Experience:

        I have been calling up since Monday [22nd Oct] for a transfer of my connection to a new address. I was told on Monday that it would be done in 24 hrs. No ticket no was given to me. [ No information was mentioned as to when this would be done]

        I waited until Wednesday and when I called up to find the status the agent told me that I would need to raise a new request, I specifically told them him I would junk this connection if nothing was done before Friday [ 48 Hrs is the SLA for anything].

        On friday[today] I called up to find out what happened to my complaint. Mr. Satish was the agent who I was speaking to. Instead of servicing our needs, he was teaching me the rules and regulations that they follow[Seriously, I care a Damn on what happens]. When i asked for a transfer to the Manager , he plainly refused to transfer me to a manager and was stubborn in it. I have never seen anyone as arrogant as Satish. He framed a new rule and told me that it would take 72 hrs further for me to transfer my line[First agent to tell me this, generally everyone tell me 48 hrs max]. I had to bang the phone finally, cause your service desk disgusted me.

        I have now decided to go to the consumer court and even mail to people in the TRAI , for low standards and awful quality of service.

        Things you can do:

        1. Junk people spoiling Tata's reputation and name. People who work for money seldom care for the brand they service.

        2. Please try restoring basic Customer Service Skills among agents. I must say that none of them know how to handle clients and their English speaking skills are awful. Please teach all the agents how to speak in English and than place them on the floor.

        3. People like satish[agent who i was speaking to] increase frustration and do no good to Tata's name. Please train people like him and than get him onto the floor for answering customer queries.

        For all Managers:

        1. Please try making sure that you don't spoil Tata's reputation. All we expect from a Brand like Tata is excellent product[s] and awesome quality. However I don't see that happening off late.

        Tata Indicom / Wireless Internet — Pathetic service by Tata Indicom

        I really agree that. I am using tata usb modem. They have barred me for exceeding the credit limit. In my USB modem, i cannot make calls so i need to call their customer care thro my airtel mobile. Everytime i called them, they are playing me as a ball. First i choose to speak with internet dept. The person who attend the call will transfer me to accounts dept. I need to repeat the same problem to that dept. He will make me wait for a minute time and he would transfer that line to billing dept . after a long wait tranfer, i will get to speak with billing dept. He will say that tranfer the line again to internet dept. Finally i would get anger and disconnet the call.
        I have had the highest impression of TATA, one of our nation builders with their exemplary work over the years...! However it is totally unbelievable why or how a department of theirs could be so pathetic in service and so careless and irresponsible when dealing with customers.

        It has now been one entire week since I have registered my initial complaint with Tata Indicom. My internet is still not working and I am having a pathetic time talking to the customer care officers. Awful service is what I would comment about Tata Indicom internet services!

        I have made 7 telephone calls to the customer care centre, each time speaking to 7 different people and having to repeat my problems each time.

        This is the worst experience I have had with any company... I bet that there are thousands of other frustrated people like me.. and totally helpless...

        Is there some way in which we can seek legal recourse to this careless irresponsibility to customers?

        I have got a prepaid Tata indicom internet connection which is not functioning properly right from the date when the connection was provided.
        I am very much frustrated about the poor service being offered.
        I spend much time registering complaint and following after the service people, who do not respond properly.
        At this point of time I am very sorry to say that I am not satisfied with your service and request that you may disconnect the connection and refund the amount paid to Tata indicom.

        Tata Indicom Broadband — Pathetic services

        Please note, Guys please don't take Internet broadband connection of (Tata Indicom).

        Actually I have suffered a lot due to them and requested them to atleast dis-connect the Internet connection means to remove their compony's Router and cablewire from my house because connection is already removed from there end from 22nd December 2007.

        I took this connection on 22/11/07 and till this date I am "Regreting" on my decision. This is because of the "Excellent" customer service provide to me by this company. Please refer the details below to have an idea of the 'excellence' in their service.

        1) Customer care people has dissconnected me many times. Last Technical support person who attended my call put me on hold for 5 minutes and then disconnected the call.
        2) I have got lot of assurance calls from their managers but never got any results.
        3) They resolved the issue many times without doing any action on problem and when I called them they said issue is fixed and when I told them that my Internet connection is still not working, all they did is to reopen the request.
        4) Whenever called we were told that the issue will be fixed within 72 hours but this never happened.

        Major loses that I faced because of Tata Indicom services: -

        1) I had registered myself for MBA course from Symboisis University, Pune and for that reason I bought laptop worth 40 thousand Rupees and total MBA fees I payed is 25 thousand.
        2) I was supposed to submit my MBA Assignments in December 2007 which I was not able to do because of there worst services.
        3) Me and my room-mate has called Tata Indicom for more than 100 times in our 37 days of connection.

        In view the above I would like to further submit that this company in not in the position to give me (or any one else probably) Internet services and I am not in the position to get benefit out of this.

        VSNL (Tata Indicom) — Complaints not being attended for more than a month

        I am not able to upgrade my profile in my account since 21st December 2007. It shows error when I click on "update profile" link after I log in.
        I have sent many many e mails to their [protected]@vsnl.co.in.
        They give standard reply that "our technical team is working on your complaint and they will contact you." But nothing is done.

        I have contacted them on phone 60607070. It is a call centre and everytime some new person answers and promises that your complaint is registered and will be attended soon.

        But nothing is done.

        The complaint is still not attended till today.

        tata indicom wimax connection — Worst Service Support

        I have taken the Tata indicomm Wimax connection and I guess I have made a worst ever decision in my life by taking this connection. I paid up for the new connection on 31st Dec. 07 with necessary formalities completed on the same day. I was promised that the connection will be provided in 3-4 days time by the sales person, but it took more than 15 days for them to install the equipment and 3 days from then to make to connection work.

        The connection worked for 2-3 days and later stopped working. I have now been following-up with every possible person in Tata Indicomm to get it fixed and this is going on for the last 10 days now. The help desk is the worst to call. every time I call, I will be put on hold for not less than 15 min. and later I only hear "sorry for inconvenience" and nothing more.

        I am tired and sick of this service provider.

        TATA Indicom Broadband — TATA INDICOM Broadband swindled me out of my money

        many months back, last year, my internet connection got blocked, suspended. when i called the tata indicom call center, they told me that the account has been suspended as i have not renewed it. which came as a surpurise to me as i had recently paid the rs 1800 fee and renewed it. i told them this, and they asked me for the receipt number. i had misplaced the receipt and so they told me that there’s nothing they can do about it if i have lost the receipt. they also told me that they have no ‘collections’ record, and a customer’s receipt is the only documentation there is to record and prove that a payment has been made. they also went ahead with telling me that it was wrong of me to have paid cash to the collectors who came to my place and that i should’ve made the payment with a cheque. i needed to connect urgently at the time so i ran to my office and renewed my account using a credit card.

        my plan was a six-months one, and in about a month, or so, they suspend my account again. the plan i was using was a six months thing, i can’t remember the MBs or GBs. i do not download movies or songs or pics. i mostly just use mail, chat sometimes, and sometimes listen to songs online. but what’s baffling is that throughout the month of Dec, which is when their reports show that i used most of my MBs/GBs, i hadn’t even logged on. their reports have net-use dates on which i wasn’t even home, as a matter of fact i wasn’t even in the city on those dates. they insist that my password is not secure and that someone else might have been using it. like a A-hole i yet again “renew” my account. this time on the 9th, maybe the 7th of Jan.

        tata indicom “renews” your account by selling you packages. x MBs for rs x, or unlimited amount of MBs for rs x for a limited no of days. earlier i had paid for their 6 monthly plan, that had a limited no of MBs/GBs, which in my case got over, only the network Gods know how.

        this time i bought an unlimited plan/package for one month on Jan 9 (or 7?), as per which my account would get over by Feb 9 (or 7?). last Fri, that is the 1st Feb, i realize that my account has been suspended yet again and i am not able to access the net. they might have suspended it earlier, but i don’t know as i accessed the account only on Fri. they now claim that apparently there was some “reduction” made by the system in my new plan due to which some money went to that, due to which my account has money no more, due to which they have suspended my account, yet again. ** phew **

        they had no answer when i asked them how is it possible for one to use up any extra as they sell pre-defined packages. so the moment the amount allotted to you gets over, the account freezes, or rather how they fondly call it, gets suspended. it’s not a gas pipeline with continous supply, they sell cylinders. besides, my account never showed a minus amount the last i checked and renewed my account (which like i mentioned should not be possible as they sell pre-defined packages). moreover, a monthly plan is a monthly plan, how can they cut that short without having informed me. they also could not tell me how much of ‘minus’ amount my account was in; apparently that data the system report did not provide.

        when i requested that i wanted to speak to a superior, or supervisor or something, the lady on the phone informed me that she has “escalated” the issue and “someone” will get in touch with me and that the issue will get resolved in 24 hrs. my first complaint was made on Fri evening, the second one saturday afternoon. it’s monday afternoon now.

        tata indicom has swindled about rs 4-5000 from me till now.

        TATA Indicom — Hassles with getting new connection

        I signed up for a new connection with TATA Indicom exactly 16 days ago - and that was after at least a week of delays on their side getting me the information I needed to be able to sign up for my account. In any case, I submitted my application form for 2 combo connections on Jan 22, 2008. They strongly discouraged me from paying cash (if I understood correctly, apparently their incentives don't kick in if I paid by cheque. I am an existing TATA Indicom subscriber and have at least 10 numbers (landline + mobile) on my account, and was trying to add 2 more numbers and was signing up for their combo (walky + mobile) plan. Because I had paid by cheque, the approval process took 14 days - they deposited my cheque on the 25th (god only knows why it took 3 days), which was then credited to their accounts on the 31st...and yet, I didnt see the instruments untill the 4th of Feb. I am just amazed that an organization in the TATA group, that stands for integrity, would actually punish our company for doing the right thing and not paying cash - deplorable!

        That was problem #1 - Given my business needs, I had explicitly asked for 2 number patterns and they told me these numbers were available. I have written evidence of the 2 numbers that they promised me but when the technician finally showed up, one of the numbers was different, and they insisted that I had misunderstood (the written evidence notwithstanding). I refused to take this number and asked them to fix it before I would take the connections. The guy promptly went back and the diligent account manager that sold me the connections promised to address it in 10 mins, and 3 days later, I am yet to hear from him. Courtesy prevents me from taking names here, but maybe that's what I should do to prompt some action. I have since called him, but of course, he ignores my calls now. I am sure he is busy signing up more gullible customers - so much for the Tata brandname. And if that wasnt enough, the existing instrument I have has issues that I have reported to their customer care more than a month ago - and yes, you guessed right, they have ignored those complaints as well. When companies can't even serve their existing customers in an able fashion, the clamour for more customers seems downright silly.

        I have a Nokia mobile having indicom no. [protected]. frequent call dropping is encountered on dialing or in between going on calls. one call costs Rs.7-8 on comletion for 1-2 min duration. Customer care can not be contacted as contineous ringing or busy tone observed.

        WAnt to complaint about the Postpaid service of tataindicom My phone is have a call disconnect, internet cutoff and the other Handset problem, the model is WAlky 350T, I been complaining them about this since February but I am just getting Docket numbers which they are very good at and also for the apologies they give.I also spoke to the senior authorities but it was useless I have complaint to the [protected]@tatatel.co.in & nodalofficer.[protected]@tatatel.co.in which those agent gave me but it has still not worked also one guy call my family member and say i've been rude to tata agents.This is why I am telling TATAindison react properly and soon else I have to go to the consumer court for the problem.

        TATA Indicom — poor service n incorrect information

        i paid rs3, 000 for the walky n wi fi internet connection on 2nd week of dec . a person came the next week n gav me a walky which never wrkd, i was nt even abl to call 121, n the internet device was sent aftr 1 month, in mid jan which was also nt wrkin, i lodged a complaint on the net for which some one replcd the walky no 13feb n fixed the net connectn on 15th, then i had to call 121 for the billing for the last 2 months for which i was charged the whole amount. aftr a few days my connectn was disconnected due to non paymnt, i again called up n the exec told me i was supposed to pay around rs200 as the prev amnt was waived off which i was to pay in march n they will activate the service. when they did't do it aftr 2days i again called up n they r sayin i was supposed to pay in feb, so they will temporarily activate my services till they send the revised bill, i even provided them my mail id, to this day i still havn't recvd the bill. i spoke with KIRAN @ billin dept n he told me that they r nt goin to active my servc till i pay them the whole rs 1, 240 n he hung up on me, i again called up n found out that they hav chargd me the rent for the month of dec n jan also. is this the way a comopany can operate without carin for the law n doin waht they want. this is till now my most worst experience with any services...

        TATA WIMAX Broadband — Poor Service and hesitating to refund the money

        Hi,

        I took wimax connection in bangalore on Jan. It worked partially for 3 days. They told it will work. But it stopped working. After that whenever I call the customer care wait time is nearly one hour. Finally I managed to raise a complaint after 5 days. Then the bigger problem started. Their engineers wanted to visit my house and will book appoinment everyday. They will never turn up on time. You have to wait without going to office. At some time in day they will call and say we are near your house and can we come. After 1 week of fight and wastage of phone calls finally they visited my house. They made it a daily habit because there was no signal from tower. Then senior engineers from VSNL visited. Then engineers from TATA indicom visited to confirm the same. I was bigged up because of their visit. Finally they told they can't provide the service.
        Then starts the bigger problem. They told I have to disconnect their antenna and other equipments and submit the things to start the termination process. The process started on Feb 11th. I don't have any equipments to remove antenna and all. After a month they agreed that they will take their equipmentback. I have called them many times they will promise everything will be over in 15days, already three months over nothing hapened.

        Then around April first week I started calling them daily for two weeks and finally one person told your account is in suspended mode and the termination process is not started. Then they started the termination process. Their engineer came and took the equipment. The customer care promised 15days. the enginner told 1 month. Today I called. Again the customer care said the backend team started termination process on 28th April. Wait for another 30 days.
        Literally they are buying time. My 4000+ rs is blocked for more than 3 months. I have spend more than 1000 Rs for call center. They never call back.
        This division of TATA's is a shame to TATA group.
        I don't know when I will get the money back.
        Many of my friends are in similar situation. They don't have time o spend for the customer care and the pain is too much.

        I will never return to any of TATA services.

        Tata-Indicom Broadband service — No service from ONE month

        I have got TATA INDICOM Broad band connection (Plan- POWER ON and ON 12-128 ) purchased on NOV- 29, 2007.
        Now in april 17, 2008 we have shifted to an other resident in Bangalore just a Kilometer apart from the old House,
        From then we are behind the Customer care people to get connection shifted to the new house. But all efferts are resulted in zero output. After a month also i am going for Cyber cafe .
        Just check my expenditure for not having Internet

        Monthly Cost paid to Indicom--625.00 INR
        Per day cafe charges-(15 rs/HR)--30.00 INR
        From last Month (30 Days) --900.00INR

        Totally -1660.00 INR are taken on my head.
        After calling Customer care for 5~6 times within 2 weeks.I did't get any thing apart from false promises.

        I don't know still how many days I need to bare with this as I have already Invested Rs. 8000/ year for this connection and out of which One month i paid for no service.
        My investment money also gone and i can't even get a new connection from any other services too as i fear the same service from them.

        What to do next...????

        TATA Indicom Broadband — non connectivity

        I have been using tataindicom Broad band. ON 16th there was a problem regarding connectivity. I have registered a complaint ( No.5758092) dt.16.5.2008 at 1305 hrs. Till today my problem is unsolved. I am not in a position to get connectede to broad band.

        1) Customer service providers have not called back or given any feed back or bothered to explain the nature of problem and how much time it would take to solve the problem. No body knows what the problem is and how much time span it would take to solve the problem.
        2) there is no direct contact to tata indicom VSNL office and no communication can get established.

        Is there no one take the responsibility of my problem andk give some customer satisfaction ?

        If there is delay of one day in making the payment, immediately the authority cut down the connection and punishes the customers. Now if the connection is not working for 6 day and do not know when it will be rectified, How can customer be given compensation ? How can we give punishment to VSNL ?

        This is one way tracking and we customers are in absolute mercy with the service providers.

        Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd - Broadband connection — Broadband connection not installed, but charged installation fee

        I had applied for a broadband connection with TTML in Pune. They charged an advance installation fee on Rs. 898. They are not able to install the connection due to technical feasilbilty. When I asked for the refund, they refused saying this amount is non-refundable.

        Tata Indicom-Broadband Service — poor service, no connectivity

        I am a post paid connection - tataindicom broad band in the month of Feb.
        Initial few days the experiance was very good.But from March 1st week, till now I am struggling and frustrated with tataindicom service.
        It is very difficult to connect to the customer care.You have to be on wait mode till 15 - 20 mins.Then they will ask you all bs and tell u all the junk.If your broad band goes down..On an average basis, it will take atleast 5 days to get your connection back.

        Service is very very poor...not worth for Rs100, but am paying 1100...as I dont have any alternative.

        My login ID is [protected]@eth.net and I am the owner of cyber café. With great dissatisfaction and full of annoyance I am forced to write this mail which should be considered utmost urgent from your side.


        I run a cyber café on TataIndicom Connection. I chose your company because I trusted the name TATA and it was there in my mind that I would get full value of my money. But now I am realizing how much wrong I was! I am facing a very typical problem for last one and half month. Everyday around six o’clock in the evening my link gets down and it gets automatically reconnected the next morning by around seven o’clock. I made number of complaints but only not to be addressed from your side. My last complaint number was 5627110 and my new complain number is 5772514.


        I also tried to get into depth of the problem and I found it was a problem of wiring which gets worsened when the street light is switched on in the evening and it gets automatically sorted out when the street light is switched off the next morning.


        I don’t know how to react on this but I am suffering physically, mentally and economically as well. I am loosing my customers and my credibility in my area is being questioned. In this age of fierce competition I think I am going to be knocked down badly. So I have decided to think of alternatives and filing a suit against your company in the consumer forum. I therefore request you to do the needful in this regard or face the consequences in the near future.

        Tata Broadband — Broadband not working since more than a month

        Hi All,
        I am really disapointed with your services.My broadband connection is not working for last 1 month plus despite of repeated calls to your customer care there is no progress.I have also spoken to your Sales team person Mr Manjunath @[protected] and Mr. Kalidas @[protected] and they promised to upgrade to Wimax.The reason provided by them is we are moving from wireline to Wimax.

        I was also sent a bill for usage despite on internet not working.I have used a net connection with VSNL since 1998 and had a happy association.This service is absolutely pathetic, if this mail gets ignored I will definately update all my friend circle and my corporate world to ensure no one falls for your false promises.

        I bought a tata indicom pre paid connection on December 2007 for 1 mbps for about 3k, one guy came a installed the service in my laptop and it worked, from the next day i was unable to connect the internet, i called the customer service and they registered and gave me a complaint number( after asking me to switch on, off the modem and other preliminary stuff), he also said it was some wiring fault, later no one turned up, the connection validity is up to 6 months, and today is june 28 and i have registered about 6 more complaints still no one has turned over to rectify the problem, i am feeling cheated, what should i do, how and whom should i complaint about

        Tata Indicom Plug to Surf — poor quality of net speed and poor customer care

        i purchased a plug to sur[censored]sb modem from Tata indicom to surf internet in my office as well as at my home and the speed offered by TATA indicom was upto 153 KBPS. but it is very surprising that when i used this product the actual speed was only 15-20 KBPS.

        accordingly i made a request for cencellation of connection at TATA Indicom customer care in MArch 2008 and at that time a +ve balance of Rs. 200 was available in my account. the cutomer care executive assured me that the connection would be disconnected within 15 days.

        but i was very much surprised to see the next bill for the period in which i didnot even used the modem and the amount of beill was adjusted in the balance in my account. still i was thinking that i would not get next bill as i had already made a request for disconnection.

        next month i again got a bill and an amount of Rs. 150 Approx was shown due for payment. accordingly i made a complaint to customer care again. in response to my complaint i got 3-4 calls from TATA indicom vide which i was told that my request is under process. i was also asked about the resons for disconnection. but i insisted on my request and tell them i would not pay a single penny for this bogus bill. the customer executive assured me that i need not to pay any amount.


        but beyond my expectations i have received recent bill of Rs. 173 due for payment on 24.07.2008 and my connection is still not been disconnected by TAT Indicom.

        i hope somebody will have to fight this type of Malicious service providers.

        we are using tata indicom broad band connection and we are facing so maney problems with thea connection, they are not providing good services and not responding to our problems. when ever we call them they used to tell that they would resolve the problem as soon as possible, but we are not getting solution from their side with in time. this causes wastage of money and valuble time

        Tata Indicom Broadband — Pathetic Service and Support

        We had registered a compliant on the 17th July for no connectivity. The connection was not restored till 24th July late evening. We had made atleast 100 calls during these days to get the issue solved. Constant efforts were made to get across the message that the internet connection is the backbone of our business and we should have it up fast.

        These are my findings:
        1. Till the 8th day of my complaint the customer server executives are asking me to keep patience.
        2. During the 8 days we were assured backup calls everyday. We didn't receive any calls
        3. After 6th day the Seniors wont come up on the phone and talk to me. I spoke to Praveen Rai, Rinky and some 4-5 more seniors whose names i don't remember.
        4. After 6th day was constantly told that the customer service cant do anything more and they cannot contact the engineers.
        5. One Supriya Yadav spoke very rudely and said that its no use
        calling them and that i got the message across that i have no choice but to wait and be mercy to them. But she did tell me that i will be "COMPENSATED". I will now find out what compensation i will get for Loss of Business, Using a backup connection, Making calls to tata indicom with atleast 45 mins of wait time.
        6. On 8th day we digged more and found out numbers of Tata Indicom Engineer who said that the cable operator has installed the Switch in a office where he doesn't have access and the problem can be solved by just switching the Port. They were having this problem from day 1 and they didn't inform Tata Indicom. They always said the problem was a major problem.
        7. In between one day i was given a technical dope from one of the senior executives about how a Dslam can have no extra ports and it cant be repaired and that ports are not free and that is the actual problem. This was super flop story.


        Conclusion:
        1. 1 Mins job takes 8 days.
        2. You don't care whom you have appointed to provide services and what infrastructure they have.
        3. Switching a Port on the Switch is a Major problem and takes ages to solve.
        4. Tata dont care but puts my cheque on time everymonth and the people come to door in 30 mins of intimation even if the net
        connection is not on. These same guys dont show their case in case of problems.
        5. I am going to make a Legal complain or a RTI to find why the
        problem occurred and how will i be compensated.
        i have applied for post paid connection from last two days
        they say that it will be activate tommorow, but till now no verification for document is done and my card not activated.
        I have called two to three times in tata indicom mobile centre Which is Nizampura, Vadodara, Gujrat for enquiry but no action will be taken by them till now?

        I am not satisfied for the service for opening a new connection.

        256. I talked to customercare and they assigned this call to some Mr. Ranjan
        Kumar Mobile No. [protected]. He said that your area is feasible and
        connection can be given. He took cheque of Rs 4495 cheque no. 483290 dated
        20/08/2008 as advance on 20/08/2008. He said that we will give connection in
        7 days. But it was not given. I called him after 15 days and he gave mobile

        Cancellation of broad band connection taken from Tata Broadband Connection., I was given complaint to tata coustemer service freequently, but no use i was taken unlimited back. but no use i am not abel to work on line trading. my broad band I.D tno5k2016 @ eth.com. i was paid payment due date on 5/09/2008 Rs.787/-. kindly disconnet my line.
        I had a similar experience. I made payment for 6 months trusting the TATA name. The broadband connection worked well for 6 days. I spent the next 3 months complaining before I gave up.

        TATA Indicom Broadband — Shifting of location

        I have been following up with TATA INDICOM for shifting of my prepaid connection from Pune to Bangalore for the last 4 months; no response; I have lodged a complaint # 1583651 / 6227178 / 6720958 / 7004726.

        The feasibility report was fine dated 4th June 2008 and till date they have not provided and fixed the issue. This is the most pathertic service I have ever come across.
        Tata Indicom Broadband internet service and support is really bad – Don’t buy !

        In past 3 months my net service worked for just 30 days. The mails sent to tata indicom customer care team were not responded to for week at a time. Their nodal officer is gutless freak who says that no matter if service was not there.. I will be charged.
        Its in their policy – No Refund!

        I have exchanged some 200 mails and the copy paste working is inhuman. The response I get from them is way off the mark. They have retards working in their team who have been assigned incentive to harass customers .

        They don’t understand the word refund or disconnect! Their server shows me logged in even when their line is not connected!Isn’t that hilarious? I mean, if I can get net without their line, why the hell will I need to pay them?

        Their engineers are great ! They have been ringing my door ball at 6:30 in the evening!
        I don’t know what they do the whole day ! They close the service calls at their end and tata indicom seems to be helpless. I keep filing complaints and they either ignore them or close the calls without even checking up!

        As a customer you will be required to coordinate between the customer service and engineer yourself, and damn, you won’t get paid for it either .
        I was denied refund or disconnection! My fault – I asked the damn service to be removed as it was not working for 2 weeks and there was no response from their team !

        Just imagine – Tata indicom charging all its customers on daily basis, even when they do not provide services . Isn’t it shocking! A policy that states that there will be no refund! Even when there is no service?
        They play around to show usage on customer account to justify the charges! Damn, my system was not even switched on for a whole week!

        After wasting many a hours sending mails and trying to show them some reason, I have finally stopped . I just want you to avoid such a service company and place your hard earned money elsewhere ! With Tata indicom you will only suffer nd get cheated . Tata indicom is a fraud company . Avoid it at all cost !

        Tata Indicom Broadband — Poor service and frequent disconnection

        I am using your broadband connection for last 8-9 months at BTM, 2nd Stage, Bangalore and ever since I got this connections I am facing disconnection problem now and then and most of the time cause of the problem is cable cut and what frustrates more is your service engineers/workers takes hell lot of time to fix the problem.
        The reason why I am logging a complaint over this site is because their cable has got cut once again in my area and despite I am calling 4-5 times daily to thier service engineers and to area manager, I ain't getting any satisfactory answer and problem is still fresh and a complete week has been over now but noone is able to fix this issue.
        Now I want either my money back which I have given for installation and disconnect the connection or change this to wireless (wi-max) broadband without any installation charges that too now.

        I am tata indicom walky customer. My last payment is Rs-580/- in 28 th august.But the customer care told me that the amount was not paid.
        I have also get the received number.
        i complained to tata indicom true value shop in halisahar.
        I have been using 4 TATA INDICOM lines . I disconnected one of the lines because of constant and frequent disconnection.
        I already complaint for more than 20 times. Everytime i call them, customer support always Reply like this " Sorry for the inconvenience sir, Our server seems to have problem and our Technical people are working on it to get it fixed ASAP".

        I have this problem for more than one month..I think i might going to disconnect all the TATA indicom and switch to other ISP..

        Tata Indicom Broadband — Horrendous service, Connection down for 9 days

        I live in Bangalore and have been a subscriber of Tata Indicom Broadband since May 2008. On the 26th of September my connectivity went down. Since then I have been speaking to them on 60607070 number. Initially after taking me through the steps for verifying the problem the call center agent said that she would escalate to the "technical team" and gave me a complaint number. The next day in the evening I again called up and found out my complaint had been closed on its own. Once again I went through the process of getting another complaint no.
        I even escalated the problem to their "Nodal officer" at Bangalore when the problem was unresolved on day 4.

        The Nodal officer said that they were upgrading some equipment at a nearby tower and that subscribers could face slow connectivity problems and that the problem would be solved by "Oct 08". I e mailed a reply that my next door neighbour who has an identical Wi Max connection was not having any problems; he also wrote a mail cc to me, supporting what I said. I mentioned in my mail that since my neighbour had no issues, I assume that their upgradation had no link to my problem. I asked when my issue would get resolved, but got no reply.

        Every day thereafter I have to call their help desk; they say they escalate to their technical team; the call center supervisor is never available. I also started getting calls from a Hyderabad no. asking if my connection was "working fine". I would say, no it is not working fine - in fact it is not working at all. This charade goes on without any one actually visiting in spite of the Hyderabad callers assuring some one will come and set right the "antenna problem". I have been writing daily to their nodal officer, a Ms Sindhu who never replied after the initial perfunctary reply.

        Today I could speak to the nodal officer who assured me someone would visit - it is 8PM now and no one has come. I called the help desk 6060 7070 and got the same standard replies - can I trouble shoot with you (no, madam, I ve done it 4 times in last 9 days and I know what result we'll get), I'll escalate to technical team (How many times do you do that?), No supervisor available...

        I am disgusted thoroughly with this kind of service. I wish to warn any innoncent customer against going for the so called TATA name - I worked for the TATAs myself from 1976 to 1989 and I am ashamed to say it is better to say TATA today to any product or service from the TATA stable.

        TATA Indicom — Broad Band Connection

        I have taken broad band connection from tata indicom before 1.5 years. My connection is down for past 20 days. Inspite of repeated complaints to the tata indicom customer care, no steps are taken so far.
        They say that server side cable cut. but do you think that a service provide will take more than 1 day to fix the server side cable cut?

        This is not the first time it happens. Eveny time when you compain, there wont be any response from the Customer care or the technical department to inform you on the status of the complaint.

        TataIndicom Broad Band — Useless Connection

        Occasionally it works. If you call to the higher officials also no use. Technical people are very irresponsible. They are not meant for service.
        To join a cut cable (2 minutes job) they took 2 weeks. And always technical problems and they won't solve them. Their local server which allows to connect to the main server is having a power backup of 30 minutes. If the connection goes that's it, will comes back after couple of weeks and again they will be ready with one more problem.
        They won't provide the service and they won't pay back your money(if you are a prepaid customer)

        TataIndicom — Poor Customer n Internet service

        I existing customer of Tata landline and internet sevice. The internet servive provided by the Tata is pathetic. TATA Group is like Indian politicians they don't give what they promise. I have made several complaints about the poor internet service but there is no positive response. So I have decided to discontinue the service. For that also I tried calling customer care on 67908000 but after a half an hour wait also nobody came on the line. I have sent E-mails regarding the issue but no response from their side. Really PATHETIC service. This way TATA is only going to loose customers. Also I feel the NANO car they have launched will be super flop (as they don't give what they promise). So I suggest all Indians i[censored] have any other alternative than TATA go for other option but for TATA. This is my personal experience with the phone, internet and also with TATA indca which I sold off.

        I'm using Tata Broad Band Internet Service at our Baroda office. Since long we were not getting internet service, so we complaind but not get results. After that your representative approached us so many times for the renewal and also promised to give the 20 more days, which were service lost days. Finally on 1st August 2008 we paid Rs.2630/- for the renewal to Mr. Bhavin Patel, representative of Anu Enterprise, Vadodara. At the time of collection of payment we were promised that your connection will be activated with in 1 hour, but it was not working and we complain and complain 100+ times in month of August 2008.
        Finally we had written you the request letter on 28th August 2008 to refund the amount you collected from us as Internet Broadband Service Charge for the Next six months, as are not providing regular services. Unfortunately till date we have not received the refund amount.

        By this letter, as advised by Shri Simaben Mohile, Member, Consumer Protection Council, Gujarat State, Vadodara, we request you to refund the above amount with in 7 days of receipt of this letter.         Tata Broadband — Poor Service and Downtime

        The service from Tata Indicom really sucks. I lost my Rs. 4000 as I had signed up for their 4-month postpaid service. I could only use the net services for a total of 10-15 days for the whole 4-month period due to their server being always down. The earlier complaints were attended to immediately, but then I think even they lost interest. Some of my complaints were not attended to for a period ranging from 4 days to more than a week. I finally had to disconnect it and the crazy thing is, they didnt even attend to that request. The wires and other instruments are still lying around at my house and not been picked up. I really dunno what to say at this juncture other than Tata - the quality of your service is Nano.

        Tata Indicom Broadband — Very Bad Internet Service (Tata Indicom)

        I have been using tataindicom inter net connection from last 8months. Recently I have shifted my home location. I called the customer care and asked to shift my location to my new place. I have lodged this compliant on 30th September. Still I didn't get any feedback from them. I am going to lose the internet facility for almost a month but they are not going to extend my validity by that much time. I never saw such a bull company who dont have any concern towards customer. Tataindicom is cheating the people like anything.

        TATA Indicom Broadband — Lack of Transparency In Customer Complaint Processing / Poor Customer Service

        Hi,

        I'm a Tata Indicom broadband customer. I am tired of complaining regarding non availability of service. Its been more than 40 days since my last complaint, but no one has reverted back. The experience is frustrating. To add up to the frustration they have billed me an amount of Rs 1685, though it was not functional for over a month.

        Tata Indicom does not have a transparent system where in it provides a clear cut picture of the complaint and the action being taken.

        The call to the customer care cell is often diverted to various locations, other than the intended ones. Each calls lasting an average of 30 mins and a waiting period of 12-17 mins.

        The connection has been inactive for 56 days out of the 78 days since I took this connection.

        The response from the customer cell at Tata Indicom has been lethargic. No one has reverted to my last complaint for more than 40 days.

        Please advise on how proceed.

        Last few days we have facing internet connectivity problem.(27th Oct to 6th Nov) I had continuous followup with your Customer care about the issue.

        Give me any other alternet solution. I am eagerly waiting for the internet connection.

        I have been using tataindicom Broad band. ON 14th there was a problem regarding connectivity. I have registered a complaint ( No.7734344) dt.14.11.2008. Till today my problem is unsolved. I am not in a position to get connectede to broad band.

        1) Customer service providers have not called back or given any feed back or bothered to explain the nature of problem and how much time it would take to solve the problem. No body knows what the problem is and how much time span it would take to solve the problem.
        2) there is no direct contact to tata indicom VSNL office and no communication can get established.

        Is there no one take the responsibility of my problem

        Tata Broadband — Do have have money to setup new device

        Hi,

        I am consumer of tata broadband. My user id [protected]@vsnl.net. I have put request to shift my connection from karvenagar, pune to vadagaon bk., Pune before 20 days. Request Id for same is:1698203.
        After 7 days of my request tata broadband executive(amjad- Head of shifting dept.) had called me for verification. He informed to within 2 days they will setup connection at my new location. They deducted 500 Rs. from my account as shifting charge. After that i continuously making call to their executive(amjad-Head of shifting dept.) for status of shifting connection. Everytime he gives me different-different reason for not shifting connection like less man power, process is going on like that. Now finally they are saying that non-availability of port they cannot shift connection. So i lost my internet connection at older location and not getting connection at new location. I have facing so much problem with my work due to this. And I cannot apply for other ISP as i have already paid for 3 month service. If they cannot shift my connection at my new location then they should first inform me about this, so i can cancel my request. But after deducting shifting charge and more then 20 days they informed about that. Can anyone look into this. How i can resolve this.

        Tata Indicom Broadband — Please do not opt for Tata Indicom

        The service offered Tata Indicom is absolutely disgusting. I stay in Mulund colony and every alternate day the connection stops working. How many complaints should one raise, if every alternate day the connection is not working? My phone bill is also high these days because I spend most of the amnt on calling the tata indicom guys. The service is so pathetic. Every time I call, they tell me" We are working on this issue". I have been hearing the same excuse since the past 3 months. Is is some kind of rocket science that they are not able to solve the problem since 3 months? I suggest everybody on this site not to opt for Tata Indicom. They just know to collect the money, once you pay them they are gonna leave to "Ram Bharose" !!

        Tata Indicom Wimax(Internet) — Shame full to TATA

        Hi,
        Recently I took Tata Indicom net connection(Wimax).(Bangalore[protected]
        Since First day of the connection given I am unable to connect in the night time. Regarding this nearly 10-12 times I have given complaint to customer care. But no action is taken. Very bad service. I asked to take back connection and return my security deposit. This is also not done. My complaint numbers are like..8030386, 8095736.

        TATA Indicom — Very Bad customer Service

        I have taken tata indicom broadband connection in sept 2008, after intial days there were so many issues with the connection and i keep on calling the customer care but there service was very bad
        from past one week iam calling them continiously and they daily told some one will be coming, the connecting wire got burned out and today they called up and said you have buy on your own.
        Anyone going on internet connection please dont go for tata indicom

        TATA Indicom Broadband — Uninformed and Dodgy Agents

        I was interested in buying a tata broadband connection and had applied for the same. I am really impressed at the speed at which the request was processed. An executive called me the very next day and i fixed up a time with him, chose the plan, and gave him the cheque. He said that the cheque will be cashed only after connection is provided. Within one hour of his departure, a technician called to know where exactly i was located and was immediately sorry that connectivity may not be possible since they do not have a contract with the local cable-walla anymore. (whose 64 kbps connection i currently use, coincidently, and who unfortunately does not offer broadband!)

        I called up the executive and he said he'll find a means to get me the connection, and that he was sure that they had a tie-up with someone in my area!

        I give him a week and after that when i call him he is a bit dodgy and tell me things are still being worked out.

        I call up the customer care and give them my order number and they tell me they haven't received an order at all! I asked them to check a connection inquiry done by me and they check and tell me that the technician has reported that there is no feasibility of connection and the request is closed.

        I have asked the Executive to return the cheque to me. He says he'll do the same.

        While i m impressed with the speed at which things had progressed and the honestly of the staff (the cheque is still not put in), the Executives should be a bit more informed about feasibility of connections BEFORE they take payment from the customer! Let's see if the cheque is returned with the same speed at which it was collected. I'll put a stop-payment on it anyway.
        THEY sucks its tru but ur doing stupid thing too by posting urs email-id here pls dont put it anywhere and change o[censored]rs password and security question now i was able to get urs login details see the proof

        TataIndicom — Broadband Connection

        Its been a five days i got tataindicom broadband connection. I applied for 368kbps but its beening running on 56kbps only. By the end of the month i will be getting Rs.1300 bill for 368kbps and i made 2 complaints on the second day and two on third day and one on fourth day on customer care and asked them to send someone to my place to fix it and they told me it will take 24 hours to process after the complaint. Before getting the connection they even told me they will provide us wireless modem which they didn't and I am really fraustrated and running out of my patient. If they are not going fix my speed connection problem and not going to provide us a wireless modem on the next 42 hours then i am hoping to get my money back (Rs.2250/-) for the connection fee and switch it to airtel (broadband connection).

        Broadband — Down since 10 days

        My landline[protected] is down since 10 days and no action has been taken despite several requests to the local office. I have raised a ticket on the online complaint registry and the complaint no is 204.

        TataIndicom — BAD CONNECTIVITY & BAD SERVICE

        I bought a tata connection in the month of october from the very first day of buying the connection the service of phone i.e. connectivity was not good i hv to make several calls to complete the call. I face another unique problem also form that no. i could not make call to a particular no. As i can make call to all the no.s but could not make call to that only particular no.

        Whenever i made complain to the customer they assure me that this problem will resolve in some time but it does not resolve. Even after some time i got massage from the co. that they need some more time to resolve this complain but they didnot do any effort regarding this.

        Hi! I had opted to use the Tata Indicom Broad band Service (pre paid) of VSNL.         TATA Indicom Broadband — NON FUNCTIONAL INTERNET SERVICE

        I am one of the most exploited and unheard customer suffering form the hopeless customer service and thickskinned company like tata indicom broad band internet service provider.

        I have been running from pillar to post for my abolutely dead internet connection for one of the reputed companies owned by Mr. Tata. But they nothing more than tata for a customer.

        I had paid Rs 4765.00 vide cheque no 944630 dated 29.12.08 drawn on Punjab National Bank, B-Block Janak puri, New Delhi - 110058 for the offered Business Plan 5000 of Wi Max internet serice of the company in question as an advance payment.The payment was collected by Mr. Randhir Kumar who mobile no is [protected] vide reiept no a[protected].

        It was installed on 03.01.09 thru their service franchise.

        Right from the day of inception it never worked.As per their plan offered to me the surfing speed should have been upto 2000mbps but till date it worked or gave a surfing speed more than 200mps.

        I had lodged a compliant at their so called customer care service on 03.01.09 vide complaint no 8378556. But tilldate nothing has improved. I have been to cry for the satisfactory performance of the inetrnet connection for which it I have paid Rs4765.00.

        Is some one is their to listen to the plight of the helpless customer.

          a english speeking service activated on my mob. no. [protected] on monday 8/8/2009, but on 10/8/2009 i request to custmer care executive for deactivation of this service, under service request PTC[protected]. he assured me deactivation of this service within 12 hrs but till today i.e. 20/8/2009, this service do't deactivate now what i think about your services you know in better way. now enough if will not deactivate within 12 hrs i will complaint to CEO.

            I applied for a Tata Indicom wireless broadband connection on 9th May 2008 and paid a cheque of 4500 on the same day.( Receipt # 1380247) The connection worked fine for a week, since then it has never worked. I logged numerous requests with the customer care but to no avail. Every time they close dthe case siting that they can see bandwidth usage. The funny thing is that there cable is not even plugged into my machine. I want my entire amount back as i haven't used the connection even for a week and paid for 5 months in advance.

            Tata indicom wireless broadband — improper installation

            My broadband connection was installed by tata indicomm wireless on the 12th of february 2008 by field engineer Mr. S. Senthil kumar who then gave a demo and i switched off the system after that. later in the night when we switched on we did not get the connection. immediately that night itself i called the toll free number, explained the problem for an hour and lodged a complaint no-4924482 with Mr.Sahath. till date we have been calling everyday and we have received the same response stating - "tomorrow we will rectify" from all these persons - Fahath, Gopi, Swaminathan, Rajesh(call sentre supervisor), Santosh,Joji(call centre supervisor),sumanth-the so called manager mentioned by call centre supervisors who did not even have the courtesy to attend to customers complaints.-all have given the same reply deto. but tomorrow never comes in their calendar. So this is the customer service provided by TATA indicomm. This is how they establish trust and goodwill among their customers! We are sorry to say that we are not only dissatisfied but highly irritated by their customer service. They do not give connection unless we give complete payment. once we have paid then this is what we have to face.

            Tata indicom wireless broadband — Internet never works!!

            Hello,

            Since I took tataindicom wireless broadband it never worked. I pay 1200rs/month and paid advance for four month with service tax. It worked intial few days and since then not working at all.

            I logged 5 complaints since around last one month but no one turned to my place. As informed by customer care to me, all the complaints were closed without any response. Backend team never works. They just close the complaints and do nothing.

            I am feeling like cheated.

            Tata Indicom Wireless Broadband — Misuse of Internet usage

            I have checked my internet usage detail and found that my internet account has been missused. I complained to customer care two times but without solving my problem the calls had been disconnected. I am suffering financial loss as well as metal stress. Please resolve this issue.
            I purchased CDMA card bearing No.[protected] for usb internet but now when modem connected to my pc error 721 occurred and not connected it properly. Please do the needful.

              I Purchased a Sim Card of Tata Indicom of Monile # [protected], from Urmi ENT, VIkas Paradise, Shop # 2 LBS Marg, Mulund W, Mumbai - 80,
              I did submitted my Pan Card and Passport Copy as my Identity and Residential Proof, also an Photo, but still my card is not activated, its almost 2 weeks now, I called the gallarey @ 67551515, and Talked with Tukaram (Associate) he spoked with me rudely...and now they are denying of having my Documents, I am Afraid that they will missuse my Confidential and important document.

              I do trust in the consumer forum, please help me.

                Last week i got one mail saying that now tata indicom provides online recharge for prepaid account, According to that mail I tired to recharge my tata A/C, I recharged as Top Up for 120 Rs But still my tata A/c is not recharged, but my bank A/C debited the amount 120 Rs . When i contact with customer care they told that tata has no 120 top up Option, If there is 120 RS top up option is not there the particular field should not allow to enter the Amount other than any top Up options u have, It should through one warning msg .Now I seems that there are lots of bugs in the current application


                Here my question is why tata introduce such a application with out error free ??
                I attached 2 jpegs 1. mentions the 120 top Up details (where as the customer care executive told there is no option for 120 top up)

                TATA Indicom Prepaid Service — billing problem, unfulfilled promises regarding tarriff, unavailable constomer service

                i got a tata indicom prepaid connection two months back. i was send a sms by their customer service number 12525 that if i recharge by a amont of rs 333/- on 13th of nov 2008 i will get tata to tata calls free for 1 month along with a tariff of 50 paise for local calls and 1.5 rs for std. since my wife also has a tata indicom i opted for this scheme after confirming with the dealer. the recharge was successful. now i have the following problems
                1. today while talking on a tata number all my "balance" got finished and the call ended. clearly the tata to tata free call promise was not kept.
                2. i could not make any further calls
                3. not only my rs 333/- recharge did not have the promised result but also the call i made thinking i wont be charged for actually resulted in finishing off my remaining money.
                4. i tried calling the customer center many times and all i could get was a computer generated voice which kept on repeating the very same thing again and again.
                PS i have just recieved a call from the customer care executive.
                i had a talk with a gentleman who identified himself by the name of mr Manish.
                he was helpful and told me to read the message i had received carefully and that the services of a recharge are activated only after a period of "72 hours"
                i said that i have read the message and it does not have any such condition in it. to which he replied that even if its not there it WILL take further "72 hours".
                i asked the gentleman who by now was getting aggressive that how will i know if the new tariff are applicable. to which the learned fellow replied that i will come to know about it by checking my balance every time i made a call.
                WHAT A SERVICE !!!
                you take my money now, and do not give me the service i paid for for another "72 hours", that too without any intimation.

                My Tata Indicom prepaid number is [protected].I recharged with Rs.699 to get STD( tata to tata ) free.It worked only for 1 day.The day after that all my STD( tata to tata ) calls are charged.

                I have registered my complaint in the customer care with no fruitful results.They are good in making vague promises which always fails.

                All I want from the tata indicom is :

                1.Give back all my balances which were deducted for making the STD ( tata to tata ) calls.

                2.My validity of this recharge was for 1 month.And for the negligency of the customer care, I cannot make STD calls for more than 3 days.Thus my validity should also be increased.

                My tata indicom prepaid number is [protected].I activated miscall alert service on 22nd october at 11:50p.m. and on 23rd october at 12:01a.m. Rs.15 deducted from my main account for this service. After two days (on 24th october) Rs.15 deducted again for same service. I registered complaint for that but Tata Indicom technical department executive said that we could not cut any wrong balance from your account because you activated this service for two time.                 On 22 October 2011, I have received court notice of "MOGA LOK COURT" regarding TATA INDICOM false bill Rs.740/ ,I don't know why they creating another bill, while i submit last bill before change my connection post-paid to pre-paid,Mr Tapas employee of "TATA HUB" acknowledge me last paid bill & he change my connection post to pre-paid.he sure me,without last billing they can not change this connection.they are huge communication gap between senior & junior of "TATA INDICOM" employee.i am totally fed-up during their communication gap.

                  As on 06 July 2008 my total outstanding balance (including my last bill and current outstanding) is 853 Rupees and the last date to deposit my last month bill is 22 July 2008. I have paid all my amount of 853 on 06 July 2008, but they are still not started my outgoing calls.

                  up to the last month i was using their facility of one TATA STD number at @25 paise call, but they was counting the bill with the rate of 2.65 rupees, thats why the credit limit exceeded and they blocked my outgoing on 04 July 2008, and the bill is generated on 05 July 2008, after bill generation my all amount becomes 853(after providing discount by TATA for the facility of @25), and i have paid all the bill but they are denied to start my service, saying that you have to deposit the 75 %of the bill of your credit limit. I was also paying all my last bill at due date and with the amount the bill was.

                  Please provide me better solution for this problem.

                  I have a postpaid Tata Indicom connection. I have always paid its bill before the expiry of last date for the payment. As usually I was about to pay my bill on 24th Dec,09 but an executive called me on 23rd on Dec, 09 to send their person to collect the bill on 24th Dec. I had asked them that 24th is the last day assure me that u will send someone else I will pay it on my own and she assured me she will definitely send someone.                       Hi,

                      My name is vijay using tata indicom walky with number[protected]Nalgonda - Andhra Pradesh) (on behalf of my father name M. Veera Bhadra Rao) from almost three yrs and paying more than 3000/- plus every month, which i am using it for offical purpose as I am able to move walky from one place to other place in my work station.

                      But i am very sorry to say that the tata indicom response is the worst response i have ever seen when compare with other services as i am having 3 airtel, 2 idea and 1 hutch connection for my managers.

                      Person by name Bhaskar who is incharge for nalgonda branch is the culprit and till now i haven't seen him giving proper guidence and response, and he redirects all the things to one person by name nagesware rao who is in hyderabad and that fellow interm redirects to customer care number 121 which will never work.

                      The two main problems are

                      1. Recently we have exchanged the new walky piece with older one since it is almost in worst stage. It is not working from Day after we got the new piece and its almost not getting recharge from the day one and asked to exchange with new one on the third itself, from then its almost week days now, that stupid bhaskar is not giving a proper response and he interm giving us suggestion to make a call to customer care.

                      2. Almost it's three years now, but till now we are not getting the bill amount to our house, every time we have to go to walky shop and get the bill details and if we ask bhaskar for this, he again asking us to call to customer care.

                      and make sure this will not happen again.

                      Please if your are not in a position to handle this crisis, sell it to other vendor who are capable of solving the problems of customers immediately.

                        I purchased a new Postpaid connection of Tata Indicom dated 12/04/2008. They promise to me after verification we will start your services, but before verification they started my services without any information to me.
                        I already mention in the form when the executive came to my resident address then firstly call me for my presency.
                        When verification department send an executive at the given address i was not available there bcz i was in office at that time and my land lord say to him he is not present yet.
                        I requeste to department again for verification same thing repeat again.
                        When i meet the company executive his behieave was very rudely then i request to back my deposit mony or change my resident address for verification. They never support to me and generat a bill for 2 days activation Rs. 108.00 without any information, i already discussed with seniours he also reply to me we will not help you and when i asked for my deposit money then he reply that we will beck to you after 3 months.

                          I took a Tata Indicom WL-Broadband Combo Plan in May 2007, but decided to terminate the connection after only about 4-5 months because of the following reasons :

                          1.) My primary aim was to avail of broadband services - but this service was frequently down (usually on
                          weekends when I needed it most). I raised around 10 complaints (ticket # 2564996, 2764634, 3248000, 3591332 etc) within a 3 month period (and that was when I had the patience to sit through their call centers long wait times) - each time I was told that an engineer would revert on the next working day, but not once did I receive a return call. The connection would get restored by itself, sometimes after a gap of 7-8 days!

                          2.) I was once charged for exceeding my usage limit (i.e 900 MB) when this was not the case - the online
                          logs showed usage of ~ 800 MB). The broadband customer support accepted the mistake and said the excess amount would be credited to me in the next payment cycle but this never happened.

                          So these were my primary causes of dissatisfaction -

                          - I am not sure they had adequate infrastructure/bandwidth in place to support all the customers in my area, to prevent the frequent outages on weekends and other high-usage times.

                          - They don't have a consolidated helpdesk for the wireline and broadband services? Tata Indicom is one entity for customers and it is frustrating to be shuttled between 2 different departments for billing and other issues.

                          - Helpdesk staff need to be more professional and prompt in dealing with complaints.

                          However, they have still not disconnected the service and continue sending bills (I even sent my termination request to 'customercare.[protected]@tatatel.co.in', but no response till date)! They also sent a letter threatening legal action in Feb'08 as I had not cleared my dues...hmm, I wonder how much one could sue them for in a consumer court.

                          This is another characteristic I have noticed of Tata Indicom - they just make it so hard for the consumer to disconnect. My parents who have a landline connection in Pune got it disconnected last month, and they were told that although the number would be disconnected within 15 days of their request, the equipment would be collected within 90 days, and the security deposit refunded 30 days after that! So you have to wait around 120 days to get your money back...they sure don't mention this while selling the product. DoT/TRAI should come up with clear-cut regulations on service support and termination for telecom providers to prevent harassment of customers. My recommendation is to go with Bharti Airtel, BSNL/MTNL.

                          This is Avirat from Bangalore. I've taken Tata Indicom Broadband connection about an year ago. Speed was good and network retentation was also good. However, the service was too bad whenever there is a n/w or physical failure. I had to wait atleast for a week [That too when you call at customer care and ask about the status of your complain!!!]

                          My realy problem started when I shifted my house. I had requested to shift existing broadband connection before three months. It has not been address till today [21-Dec-2007]. The funny thing is that I just need the connection shifted from 2A main to 4B Main street [Just 4 streets away - around 400 meters]. Initailly, the (So called!!!) concerned executives said that all routers are full and they cannot work on this!!!

                          After a month, they sent me a mail saying that I can get the connection shifted now and they asked me to give address proof of new location. I couriered the same and got the acknowledgement email from them. But after that, nothing happened. At interval of every 2-3 days, I used to call to Tata indicom customer care [+[protected]] and ask about the status. The call center people said that there is an update saying executives talked to me!!! I was amased after hearing this as nobody contacted me anytime! They also logged 3 complaints [one by one in past two months] asking to give update to me, but nothing worked! I spent around Rs. 400/- calling to customer care in past 2 months. I really felt bad and I shouted to the customer care people 2-3 times, too! But at the end, I understood that both customer care and so called concerned executives never contact each other!!!

                          At the end, I just have to disconnect the existing connection to get rid of this problem and apply for airtel/BSNL connection. :(
                          Be aware of the worst service of TATA Indicom Broadband in Bangalore and do not take the connection at any cost. Airtel is really good when you come to know about my experience.
                          I am facing the same problem. I applied for a shift of connection from Shivaji Housing Society to Bhonsalenagar, Pune 1.5 months back. After a lot of calls and complaints, I was told that the area is not feasible since the number of connections has been exhausted in that area. When I asked for a refund (I have around Rs. 3000 balance), they told me that it is not possible since I had taken a prepaid pack. The only solution is to continue using the connection in the old area or let the money lapse. Both solutions are not feasible for me. They are not letting me transfer the balance to another user account too. When I called up customer care to get a new connection, they told me it was available in the new area. I am not sure how to handle this situation but I do not want to let them take my money without providing me any service.

                          Tata Indicom Broadband — Poor service, almost full payment

                          I had subscribed to tata indicom broadband connection with id Arnab.[protected]@vsnl.net. Since the time of my subscription their services have been pathetic. On 29th October 2008, I found that my connection was not working. I lodged a complaint with them on 30th October. Since then I kept on calling them many a times and got the same response, internal server issues : work in progress. After all the phone calls also costed me a lot. Finally on 13th November I got fed up and asked for disconnection of their services (through mail : so that I have written evidence), seeking for my bill till that date so that I could pay it off and get their services disconnected. Again yesterday I got a call from their accounts team and I asked them to send the bill. When I got the bill I found that they have charged Rs. 1116.39 for infinity 384 plan which is almost the full payable amount for a month including taxes, when actually I got their connection for about 1 weeks 3 days in the time period billed. This is no way a broadband conpany should service customers. Also I fear that they will keep on disturbing me on the bills in the coming months, even if I make the payment now.

                          I have trusted Tataindicomm broadband for my hispeed internet connection which is mainly used for my official purpose for an overseas client.

                          Service is very infrequent in my location and their tech support seems to have internal issues. They do not visit my location at Laketown, Kolkata. Their call logging system is also very dubious and I have to repeat silly information everytime.

                          I want my subscription money back and want to switch it ove to a local cable operator or BSNL who seems to be more reliable.

                          I suggest people to avoid their service. This company is ruining Tata brand name. Now I am thinking of going to consumer court.

                          Tata broadband says [protected] is tollfree number.It is not.If you dial from Bsnl, it says INVALID number.If you dial from Tata indicom, they charge, they do not have any toll free number.
                          This is FRAUD
                          I subscribed for Tata Indicom Broadband almost an tear ago and have discontinued the subscription due to poor performance of the broadband as well as the service backup. The net was nonfunctional for more than a dozen times in 12 months. Last time, it went off about three weeks back and till date no service persson attended or rectified the same. As a result, I discontinued the service and went for Airtel Broadband. At the time of the malfunction, my balance amount with the company was Rs 1700/= approximately, which I'm told is non-refundable and so I have lost it.

                          Tata Broadband — No refund of security deposite 5 months after disconnection

                          Hi,

                          I applied for disconnection of my Tata broadband in Bangalore in last week of July, but after following up for last 5 months also I have not got my money back.
                          I have almost 10 complaint numbers which I filed for the same, but never got any refund. Finally during last complaint of 5th Jan, I was told that I never submitted the security deposite which was kind of shock to me. Then I gave them my acknowledgement number along with the cheque details only to know that the call centre executive did not even entre that number in the complaint. This i got to know when I called back on 7th Jan.

                          I am really shocked at such a pathetic behavior of broadband officials. They are bringing a very BAD name to Tata empire..

                          Tata Broadband — Have not received my money back for more than 6 months

                          I registered a complained about not getting my money 1 month back also, and in response to that I got a mail from tata customer care. But after that, there has been no communication from there side.
                          Its the usual stuff they are doing and not refunding the money even after several follow-ups.

                          I am not really sure even if this site is useful in that case.

                          Tata Indicom Broadband — Not OK TATA: Bad Product & Poor Service

                          Not Ok Tata

                          I was what you might call a fairly loyal Tata Customer; with a Tata Sky DTH connection at home; a Tata Indicom CDMA wireless internet connection on my laptop and a Tata Indicom Broadband connection at home.
                          These relationships with Tata Company’s were worth ~Rs. 42, 000 (or ~US$ 900) to the Tata group each year and in this calculation I am not counting the Tata Tea I might have had or the Tata Steel that might have been used in the house I bought or the Tata Car I might have hired from time to time.

                          I am also a realist; I understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, equipments malfunction, human errors happen and if everything else is going fine, the monsoons don’t come as planned leading to increased prices.

                          But despite being a docile camel, I’ve begun hurting from all the straws that one Tata group company has placed onto my back. My tale of woes began ever since I paid a 5 month advance (Oct08 Till Mar09) for what I’d thought would be trouble free high-speed broadband internet access.
                          The connection worked intermittently; but being a realist I understood and looked at this as an opportunity to make friends and get acquainted with a whole bunch of customer service representatives at the Tata Hyderabad (I think) service center.

                          Matters however got really interesting in the last few weeks when I registered a series of non-connection complaints (6 Mar 09 & 11 Mar 09) only to be informed today (14 Mar 09) that my account had since been suspended for non payment of dues despite having paid my dues online in the last week of Feb09 (I have a confirmation from my bank that the payment had been processed but it seems it didn’t reach Tata Indicom and off course nobody thought it important enough to inform me).

                          Therefore to use a broadband term, my connection request is now truly timed out due alleged non payment suspension for a connection that anyways does not work most of the time. To add insult to injury the Telephone number of the Nodal officer for grievances provided to me by the service center is switched off.

                          As a businessman, my advice to Tata management would be - Jaagore - and take what corrective steps they can to ensure that they don’t continue liquidating the Tata brand equity at this frightening rate.

                          As a customer I guess there isn’t much left for me to do or say other than Tata Bye Bye.

                          This is regarding the frequent disconnection problem. The adsl link in the router goes off suddenly in a day. I have been complaining more than 12 times, and the disconnection period varies from 20minutes to 2 hours. After that the connection get resumed.

                          Regarding this i have made several complaints, and the complaints are closed for that particular day, but again next day am facing the problem. Now i have been promised that i will not face this problem anymore. I don't know how loong it will sustain.


                          Since am into online share trading, every minute is very much valuable to me. So only am keep on complaining.In this regard of my loss how you are gonna compensate ?.

                          When i spoke to the nodal officer on 17th August (around 1 pm), I was informed that compensation will be given only if i face a 72 hours continous disconnection. And I was also informed that "IF I WANT A 24 HOURS CONTINOUS CONNECTION I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A LEASED LINE "

                          AS PER TRAI - Broadband - TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has defined broadband as “An always on data connection having the capability of minimum download speeds of 256 kbps”

                          My plan is a broadband connection of 400kbps -- Broadband means - Always online - which states that i am supposed to get 24 hours connection line, but in my case i had lost around 20 minutes to 2 hours nearly 4 to 5 days.(check my complaints history for proof). The customer care executives informed that it was due to server down.


                          I need proper explanation, and what is the meaning of broad band in TATA and now your fair usage policy - what is meant by unlimited according to TATA.


                          How a nodal officer can say a statement that if i want a 24hrs connection then i need to take leased line, in tata website itself its written as broadband means "always on data connection "
                          I have subscribed for TataIndicom BroadBand Connection(username:[protected]@vsnl.net) and I had frequent problems in the connection. Hence, on 29th July 2009 I had called up their customer care division and raised a complaint (Complaint #[protected] and got a reply that it will be resolved within 24 hrs. As I didn’t get this issue resolved till 3rd Aug, I called up again and their executive informed that the issue is escalated and will be resolved within 48 hours. But it didn’t happen so and I had to call again on 4th and 5th Aug 2009 and got the same reply repeatedly. Hence, I visited their office at chetpet, chennai in person on 6 Aug 2009, but no proper response was given.
                          Since the issue was not yet resolved in spite of my continuous calls, I had sent a letter dated 07th Aug, to their mailing address. But even then the issue was not resolved, I had sent another letter dated 11th Aug, asking them to refund the money I had paid to them.
                          This is really an unpleasant experience which no one could expect from a reputed brand like Tata.

                          EVERY DAY atleast a minimum of 20 min the Internet connection will be lost.. When its lost, if you try to call the CUSTOMER CARE, either the ring will go on or the nr will ALWAYS be BUSY... Its clear that they are playing with customers.

                          Being a software company, We have now opted for BSNL's Broadband which is REALLY REALLY good compared to TATA.

                          There also some times you get the problem but the people working there seems to be fine and they solve it really FASTER THAN TATA.

                          Tata Indicom Broadband — Frequently disconnection & no action even after complain in customer care

                          From last 6-8 months I'm having frequently disconnection problems. I've complaint about it many times in their customer care. Every time they register a complain & promise that this would never happen again! & within just 2-3 days the same problem occur.

                          On 16th Dec. 2009 I've applied online for shifting my connection to my new address. The customer care person said that after I apply, their Representative will contact me within 72 hours to collect my doc. or will mail me! I waited for about 10 days & meanwhile I've contacted to the customer care twice, but I didn't get any action! Then I contacted the local office & submitted my doc. Even after that they haven't contacted me! I've tried to call the local person (Who has given me his no.) & every time I got false promises. & then they didn't even care to answer my call!
                          After a lots of complains & then finally when I said that I will go to consumer court, I got the connection on 6th Jan. 2010!

                          But that wasn't the end! After this, I'm facing frequently disconnection problems. Every time when I call to customer care, they says either the server is down or the connection is down!! I've told them that I'm having all my work online so please do care about these problem. But every time they just register the complain & do false promises! Even yesterday, 21st Jan 2010 I've registered a complain about the disconnection (Complain no.:[protected]. Then at evening the connection started. & then from today morning I'm not getting the connection. I've called again & registered a new complain (Complain no.: 1162616) & asked to start my connection ASAP. But it's not resolved yet!

                          Also, when the connection is on, most of the time I'm getting very poor speed! I'm using Infinity 384 with 384 Kbps speed but hardly get more than 30-40 kbps speed!

                          I'm a freelancer & having all my work online. I'm having all my clients from foreign countries & I do need to work from night many time! I'm suffering a lot with this service! Last time my client was about to sue me! I'm paying Rs. 1000 + Tax to Tata Indicom Broadband just to suffer with disconnection problems & then waiting for their solutions!

                          I need a permanent solution of this & a guarantee from the company that I would not get any kind of problem with the connectivity & will get immediate response of my complain & within an hour turnaround! I have had enough now!

                          The service of tataindicom broadband- wired line became worst at its best in HYDERABAD. Please stay away from this, if any one planning to go for this.

                          The servce is pathetic. If you raise a ticket with them then the tickets will be closed without notifying your and upon query, you can came to know that the ticket closed . Least bother about the subcriber's money and pain of not having internent connection. There is no sinle point of contact or escalation contact for the same. The moment u dial to customer care, nice voice will reply you that our team is working on this and I m raising the priority. I don't know, how much prority they need to get a work done.

                          Tataindicom Broadband customer care will promise you to fix the issue in 24 hrs, but till today I am unsure abt the defination of this 24hrs. There is no internet connection at my palce from last 3 days, I don't know how these 24hrs are calculated by them.

                          There are offers though out the year, if you want to go for the Tataindicom Broadband service. Though you need to pay a bit high as plans are costilier, but there is gurantee that you will get these benifits. They are

                          1. Headache frequent outages, without notification.
                          2. Blame from others , as you need to say that your internet connection is not working from last couple of days even in cities like Hyderabad
                          3. Your wallet will thin by keep on renewing the connections
                          4. Tension due to frequent server outages.
                          5. Poor field service
                          6. False commitments from customer care helpdek executives
                          7. You need to buy another connection from other vendors, as backup.

                          Final Suggestion:- PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS.

                          I would like to say that, I am totally disappointed with your WORST customer services.
                          I raised a complain day before yesterday, but no one can contact me till today. Thats why just now I again raised a New Complain.If your company does not know HOW TO CARE AND GIVE PROPER SERVICES OR IF DO NOT HAVE A SINGLE SMART EMPLOYEE, then LEAVE ISP PROVIDER BUSINESS OK

                          My request is that, My Modem, Antenna and CAT5 Internet cable(which are provided by TATA WiMax) are totally damage.Due to this, every time showing ERROR ERROR & ERROR. I am not able to get Internet connection since Sunday .

                          for the last time I requested to you, please change/replace all these equipment as soon as possible. If your company wont be provide new or good condition devices then take your connection return back.

                          TATA Indicom — no disconnection for 4 months

                          i gave a written application to disconnect the tata indicom wireless modem service in december 2010. i paid my bill upto january 2011. but no action was taken from the outlet and i am still gettin bills for feb march and april. they also came home for reminding. i have been going to the tata indicom outlet almost every month complaining about it.but they jusT ASK ME TO COME LATER. please some1 look into this matter

                              Respected Sir/Madam,
                              I recharged my Tata indicom prepaid mobile phone (nos [protected]) on 30th May, 2008 through the ICICI e mobile recharge facility (ICICI transaction number:[protected]. The payment through the ICICI was successfull, but the amount didn't get reflected in the prepaid account of my phone, even though I get a successfull transaction SMS with Transaction Id: 55268336.
                              I enquired the same by calling the customer care many times, but of no use.They keep on saying that you check with your bank.
                              When I checked with the bank, they say that the amount has been sent to the mobile company, Tata Indicom. So, they cannot refund it.
                              I even loged a comlaint with the Tata Indicom via their customer greviances cell electronically, but there is no reply yet.
                              Request you to look into matter and either refund the amount to my bank account or recharge my phone with the said amount.

                                ON 3RD jAN 2008 I CAN CHANGE MY PLAN TO 125 RENTAL PLAN FOR TWO MONTHS.                                 Samsung — Tata Indicom Postpaid Services

                                Sir,

                                I have a tata indicom post paid connection. My usage of mobile connection was exceeded beyond my credit limit. Now they stopped both my incomming and outgoing. To stop outgoing seems reasonable but to stop incomming is not a good thing for any customer. When I requested to customer care of tata indicom they just asked me to pay my unbilled amount to activate all my services.what is this hell!!!
                                I am really fed up of this service provider.
                                I have lost lot many important calls on my mobile just due to this behaviour. Who will be responsible for this.
                                Kindly take neccessary action to make them correct.

                                Received a sub bill in my mobile ([protected]) was Rs.119.00 and on today it is raised on Rs.694.00 and with continued some little bit phone calls. From my point of view it is errotically mistake. Please verify the same.
                                i, m rajeev and i have tata indicom sim[protected] im recharge my sim for internet porpose they give 5gb after this im recharge same on[protected] and rechare[protected] and using internet now im contineusly check my account regularly[protected] they show your account balance -8000above but i have more 500mb they cheat with me they said to me u use your sim in other device but im using in samsung corby.what can i do?my phone no. is [protected].

                                  I booked a TATA Indicom wimax broadband connection on May 6th. The company completed the feasibility study on May 9th and said that within 15 days my connection will be given. However, till date (28th May) no one has even bothered to give a call to me. This despite writing atleast 7 to 8 mails and contacting them over phone for a similar number of times. By mail, I used to get a response saying that "We would like to inform you that your concern has been forwarded to the team. Our team will contact and update you on the status at the earliest". This kind of response has been received by me for atleast 5 times. Over phone I used to get a message saying that someone will call you within 24 hours. However no one has called me yet. This is the kind of response that one could get from TATA. Their customer care simply does'nt take things seriously. Their customer service team doesn't understand what their responsibilities are. They can just send an apology letter and can do nothing about solving your problem. Absolute pathetic and shameless team!

                                    Blank Calls from Tata Indicom Number

                                    I am getting a call daily from number 66448100. It"s a local bangalore Tata Indicom number. On receiving the call i hear no voice. Nobody utters a single word. Daily around 11 am, i get a call from this number. This number is temporarily out of service message comes, when i try to call on this number. Very strange.

                                    Hi all,

                                    I had unfortunately subscribed for tata indicom walky+mobile in Jan 2008 by paying 2000 for a stupid samsung slim phone tempted by their offer of life time free calls between walky and mobile, which went useless bcoz, the slim mobile like any other slim phone is emitting lot of heat after just 1 minute of speaking.

                                    In Feb 2008, on one fine day im unable to make any calls from/to my walky as im hearing engage sound. I have complained in tata indicom office and they said that there is some network problem and it will be rectified soon. As i took connection newly, we used both the walky n mobile very few times, once or twice a day. On around Feb 23 i was stunned to get a message on my mobile and walky saying that my credit limit of 3000 was reached and i have to pay an interim payment of 2500 to avoid interruption in service. I immediately went to their office, and they said that they wont have call details until billing date reaches.My service was suspended on around 25 feb due to nonpayment of interim payment. on around 30 feb i lost my senses on seeing the bill. There are a no of STD calls made to locations in india which i havent heard of some city names also..cities in rajasthan, UP, MP, Orissa ..what not...through out India. I again went to their office in Ameerpet, Hyd to complain regarding this. They said that " u r fortunate that many others got excess bills for the last month around 15-20 thousand bcoz of faulty walky instrument" and asked me to take the walky instrument to their head office to get it replaced". On the next weekend i went to their head office with walky & mobile with an intention to cancel the connection and get rid of this bleady head ache and Tata indicom Bast****. They just took my complaint and said there is no fault in instrument. But the bill is not rectified for 1 month. They used to call me and harass me saying "We have enquired your complaint and found that the calls are made from ur instrument only...when r u going to pay the bill??" . I have to explain the whole story and they used to take a new complaint. I was tortured and vexed up that when they called me once i have shouted at the representative that I will file a case against tata indicom for their harassment for STD calls that im no way concerned. on the very next day, the excess STD call charge was adjusted. Meanwhile, I came to know that every new subscriber will be charged exccess bills and those who make all calls from their land line may over look this fraud. As I have 2 mobiles in my house, I have noticed that those STD calls are not mine. Imagine, if there are 5-6 people in house, how much confusion and misunderstandings may happen among the members of that house abt the calls made. Every one may suspect another for the calls. Also, imagine the risk of our phone being used by unknown people who may be anti social elements, & in the worst case, we may face a police enquiry for the calls made by unknown persons using our contact no.

                                    However, I have lost my peace of mind and amt upto 2000 for an bleady samsung slim mobile (its emitting high heat for a meagre usage for 1 or 2 minutes) and 1000 rental for period during which i have switched off due to fear that my phone will be misused again and period of 1 month during which my complaint was not resolved. I have ended up loosing peace of mind, 3000 for no cause and 4-5 valuable weekends moving around their offices in my first year of marriage life.

                                    I will soon upload my excess bill and adjusted bill in google documents for your information.

                                    NEVER GO FOR ANY TATA INDICOM SERVICE ..walky /mobile/ Broad Band .I came to know from some of its users that Broad band is a big band for us.

                                    TATA Indicom — harresment from tata indicom for payment of surrendered phone line

                                    I had requested the Tata Indicom Service centre to surrender my Tata Walky phone line no.[protected] in the month of November 2007 for which i was given the complaint no.92330737.
                                    I was told that one person will come at my residence to collect the phone set and clear off all the matter.

                                    After 10-12 days one representative from Tata came to collect the phone set along with one bill of Rs.541.00(Rupees Five Hundred Forty One only)towards full and final settlement.He told me make the payment to him and sign some papers which said that I VIKASH AGARWAL AM TRANSFERING THIS TATA WALKY NO. 64502372 TO...PERSON WHO IS A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE.

                                    As the name field of person to whom it was supposed to be transfered was blank, i objected to this and told him that i am not going to transfer this phone line to a unknown person where the person can be a criminal or may have done anything wrong.

                                    The Tata representative told that if i dont transfer the line then my phone line will be activated again and he immediately called up one person and gave my number and told over phone to activate the line. He left without taking the phone set and payment.

                                    On 23/11/07 we made payment for Rs.541.00(Rupees Five Hundred Forty One only)towards full and final settlement.

                                    After that we were receiving bills as well as calls from Tata to make payments for monthly rentals.We explained them everything over and again but in vain. We also send one letter to Tata Indicom customer care office in Ultadanga(Kolkata)but they refused to accept the letter.

                                    So, ultimately we had to send the letter through post on 04/02/08 to keep things in record.

                                    But today i again received a call from Tata Indicom asking for the payment and when i said that i had send the letter and cleared of the dues and there was nothing to pay the representative told me that you tell this to the police.

                                    Please let me know what appropriate action has to be taken

                                    TATA Indicom — Phone cancellation related & faulty bill

                                    I wanted to request for cancellation of my Tata Indicom no. [protected] on 17th Jan as i had shifted to Mumbai but i was told that instead of calling 121, call on [protected] as this is Delhi circle no. Firstly in todays world, what is the point of having toll free customer care nos when you have to call to a particular to speak to customer care executive of your circle. Still, i called them up and I was told that this will be done in the next 4 days. I was under the impression that this no. i.e. [protected] can only be called from a Tata phone so i again put my sim card in my mobile and called up cust care. To my utter surprise, i was told that your no. has not been disconnected as you have been retained by providing you six month local tata to tata calling rental discount but i never got a call from tata exectuives regarding this nor i ever wanted to continue as the reason of closing the was me shifting from delhi.

                                    Now finally my no. has been disconnected but the issues are that i have been charged rental for 10 extra days and i have been charged for calling up their customer care no which i absurd as how can a co. charge for speaking to theri customer care executives. When i put a complaint on their website, i got a call for the first time but their executive disconnected in between and closed the complaint. Second time, i logged a complaint, it ws closed without even responding to it. I want them to settle their dues from security deposit of 50 which is already with them but they are not even ready to do that.

                                    What kind of co. are they running where they can't provide basic customer care servcies. I am really pissed off with this co. and will ensure that none of my friends ever go to Tata Indicom.

                                      Hi all,

                                      I would like describe my bitter experiences with Tata indicom internect service - "plug 2 surf"

                                      One sales person came to my office and told that the USB mode of connecting internet, they call it "plug 2 surf", is really fast and since i had interest in wireless internet due to mobility, i got inclined to take it. When asked about the speed, he told it is 128 Kbps at that moment, and in 2 - 3 months time, they will upgrade it to 512 kbps. Believing his words, i took the connection. He also told me that the USB device can as well be used for any other internet connection like Reliance wireless...

                                      I bought the USB connector device costing Rs.3000. (But after purchasing, i noticed that it was specifically customized for tata-indicom connection with the software and all..). Once started using the connection, i realized the speed of the connection. It is much less than 20kbps..! My main intention was to access my office mails at home thru outlook's web-client, but believe or not, I was never able to do so, inspite of various "engineers" from tata-indicom coming and making it faster. For a simple google search it will take upto 5 minutes to displaz the results, and sometimes never...! So you can imagine the speed..!

                                      To get someone look at the problem, they had given some customer care number and when called, they would some other department is responsible for it, and one day i made 6 calls to different tata-indicom departments to get a complaint registered for slow speed.. As mentioned earlier, those "engineers" could do anything...

                                      Finally, i thought of discountinuing the connectiion, and it was another nightmare..! They would ask reason (obviously, they should), but they would say "sir, we would look at it and resolve, why u want to close the connection", but nothing will happen... I used to get bills for monthly rentals, and they used to deduct from my account... Last time, again i called them up to discontinue the connection, i got a reference number for the disconnection, and i sent a mail to their customer care and my bank to stop bills and stop payment respectively, quoting the above reference number. But i still receive the bills from them..

                                      Can i approach consumer court against this "Service provider". For me, i had a total loss of around Rs.6000 -- Rs.3000 for the device and nearly Rs.3000 for "bills"..

                                      Tata Indicom - Plug to Surf Internet — Extremely poor services from tata indicom internet

                                      I have been useing the tata indicom plug to surf modem since the past 5-6 months. The reason to switch over to modem was the poor internet connection with tata walky wireless phone that i was useing earlier. So the speed of brouseing with the tata phone(walky) was terrible, hence i puchased plug to surf modem which too was no difference in speed, similarly pathatic.

                                      I tried to bring this to the customer care notice, 2-3 times the engineer checked it at my office but failed to come to a conclusion for the bad speed of internet. Due to the inability to explain the cause of poor speed the engineers prompted me to get my computer checked by a computer engineer and i did so twice. The computer engineer gave me a green signal stating that my pc is perfectly allright, it is a fault with the modem speed.

                                      Finally a rather sencible engineer from tataindicom came to check my system, he also brought along his own laptop. He now was very clear that it is the poor speed of modem which is causing the problem as the performance of the modem was the very same (poor) in his laptop too.

                                      He also concluded that the reseption of signal at my office by the modem is very good, so it was not the issue of poor signal it was nothing other than poor service by tata indicom.

                                      Finally when there was no reply & after confirmation by their own engineer, tataindicom customer care executive told me that since my office falls in a zone where tataindicom does not have a tower, that was the reason for poor speed. The customer service executive also made a statement that it will take nearly 2-4 months to build the tower as the construction to it is in progress. I was stunned to hear this, as my office is in bandra area of mumbai which is suppose to be a very prime commercial hub, infact my office is located near the costly bandra-kurla complex - a prime commercilal center of mumbai. Surprisingly if they do not have the tower for singal in this area, then surely this service is useless.

                                      It has been nearly 5 months since then but to my greatest surprise the tower of tata indicom has not yet come into existance nor any improvement in their survice.

                                      Hats off to tata indicom!!! I hope they realise they have a reputation of tatas which they have brutally damaged.

                                      I totally agree with you..at the time of opening the account these guys are faster than anyone..but when it comes to resolving ur complaints...they'll make you go round and round...the speed's screwed up..the customer care sucks..!!! if these pple are not serious enough abt their customers then they better got to hell...we can opt for some other sevice provider!! i m gonna do my bit to make pple aware of the pathetic service that these guys provide..lets spread the word...

                                      TATA plug to surf — Tata Services Executive

                                      I paid Rs 2500 to an executive of Tata (plug to surf) Services to get the connection. But after that the executive never turned up and now his mobile number is not reachable. I have a photocopy of his identity card.

                                      I am a medical practitioner in Samastipur in Bihar.
                                      I bought a "Plug to Surf" in August-08. Very slow, but beggars cannot be choosers.No other company offered portabilty in this area.
                                      No recharge vouchers are available with the dealers.
                                      I have been in touch with customer care for my recharges, but they have a steo-typed format, which they fill up.and very well fail to understand the individual problems.
                                      Time has elapsed in this correspondance, and I am told to buy a new "ON-LINE"Sim.
                                      Reluctantly I agreed, but the Samastipur dealer says tah "ON-LINE" SIMS will be available after 2-3 months. That's a laugh.!!! The high Name of the TATA Customer care is quite sad.

                                      Now I am left with a useless PLUG2SURF MODEM<worth RS 2500. as a Sounir.

                                      TATA Indicom is cheating the public. I wanted to buy only for three months and then unsubscribe, as I was leaving India. But they are still sending bills despite frequent reminders for unsubscribing. It is a shame that such a reputed company is openly cheating public.
                                      i did my MBA this year, n we come to know that tata always believe in honesty n integrity. but this plug2 surf is completely cheating us

                                      Plug2Surf — Bad customer care

                                      Dear sir,

                                      I have recently purchased a plug2surf connection. I have been told that first two months is free and after than 799 per month unlimited usage. That time itself i saw the plan name was unlimited 1099. I asked dealer and he told that plan have reduced cost and it is having 799 rent only. I enquired customer care and got same confirmation.
                                      But when bill came it 1099 as rent. I dont want to pay such bill.
                                      I am planning to drop the connection and go for other serivce provider.
                                      Why your dealer and customer care is cheating people?

                                      If you are not interested in continuing this connection you must send a Registered Letter Acknowledgement Duestating the details of your connection details of bills etc and reason for disconnection and request them to settle the accounts in 10 days. You must preserve the postal receipt, copy of the letter, acknowledgement received, bills both paid and unpaid.Wait and see what the company say.

                                      I perfectly agree to the above complaint, as it completely matches with my experience with plug to surf. Though i am in the same area o[censored]sing internet, it mostly goes away from the green signal..

                                      i hardly get signals (speed is out of question) to access the internet. When i made complaint to the nearest dealer (Tata indicom) Thorapakkam (behind fortune) Chennai 96. Tamilnadu, they simply reply that this is a common problem, and boldly ask me to wait until more towers are launched.

                                      This really is a shameful answer from the dealers representing such a big company...pls help us to get rid as we did invest around Rs.4000 to get the plug to surf modem...

                                      TATA Indicom — useless services surf-2

                                      I had purchased tata indicom surf 2 usb two years back.initially it was post paid plan and unlimited free offer proved bogus as they charged for usage.after one month modem stopped functioning (error 721) and answer of tata was vista os in my laptop.after few days it started again without doing anything.amazing.now i used prepaid ([protected]) as post paid bill crossed limits and was improportionate with usage.now problem is different.online recharge is trap of tata.i have to run to pimpri outlet for not recharging online and again charging manually of online recharge is gift voucher to me.tata brought concept of core plan.when you recharge it ,balance will go to core balance, a unknown zone that can be seen on monitor in company but cant be used in data plan.then i got lesson with charge that if balance goes in core it cant be used. then came data plan of 512 mb. It is miracle in science.nobody knows what balance is left.one fine day when you cross 512 mb tata start the services but uses regular balance and finally becomes negative.when you start the connection again it will show error 721 your services discontinued.again you have to go for outlet and wait for 4-5 hours for restoration.when you come it will take 1 hr,3 hr,1 day,3 day and so on for restoration service.there is no limit to tata for starting service or take care of complaint.now finally my connection is closed for last one month.i have changed sim twice,my balance is rs 180 as per a/c report,modem is ok, i am also fine but counter staff says they dont know what is reason of stopped service.if you are using interactive voice response(IVR) then you can spend rs 100 on your phone bill but you will not get executive (human being) on line and if is there he/she will tell mobile where you will get information o[censored]LTA PLAN to make you ULTA.if any offer is there to buy tata photon or surf 2 be carefull and keep yourself ready to buy above headache with a lot of money and zero utility in your business.in short above net services are one of the hopeless and useless in our solar system may be in galaxy and finally in universe.jai photon baba pimpriwale.
