I got a connection form Tata Indicom USB modem, now they cheating us.

The cheating story and corespondance details and feedback is below.


Dear Mr.James,
Greetings from Tata Indicom!
We thank you for your mail.
At the outset, we regret for the inconvenience caused to you.
With reference to your email from you, we regret to note that you have opted to go for disconnection of your Tata Indicom telephone number [protected] Further, your request has been registered to cancel the telephone number and the reference number for the same is[protected].
The billing on the above mentioned connection would stop on the 3rd day from the date of request raised and the expected time to process your request is 30 Days. We request you to kindly make note of this reference number for further correspondence.
Further we would like to inform you that as the excess amount in your account has been adjusted with the bills, which includes the usage charges and the amount paid towards the modem is not a refundable amount as it is your own instrument. Also we would be sending the modem back to your place from the authorized service centre..
As a service provider, we firmly believe that the key to customer satisfaction is adding value to a relationship that is continual and long-lasting.
Should there be further clarifications, please feel free to get in touch with us.

Hi,
This is with reference to the telecom with myself and you on today afternoon.

I would like to inform you and other concerns.

We started to use Tata Indicom USB modem from 7th Aug 2008. I got call from Tata tele-services on 6ht Sept. to make an interim payment, since we were close to our credit limit. I dropped a cheque on 8th Sept. 2008 which is from Federal bank limited R. T Nagar for an amount of INR 2500.00. Tata Indicom disconnected our service on 14th Sept because of non payment. When we don’t have the connection we used to touch with call centre and we informed them that the cheque dropped infront of the cheque collection box, which is located opposite to cash collection counter in Koramangala office, but nobody was not be able to identify the cheque. (Even though provided Cheque #, Account #, bank details, beneficiary name).

Finally call centre ask us to make alternate payment for reactivation, and 15th Sept 2008 we paid amount INR 1400.00, after the same they reactivated the connection. Since from that time the net connection performance was not satisfactory. So that we visited your Ahemedabad office on 19th Sept 10.30AM, Delhi office on 24th Sept. 4.00PM and Bangalore office Koramangala branch on 7th October 1.30PM. Eventhough they all did some, but problem will be existing. .

Finally I received the bill of September then I contacted compliance department in Karnattaka on 21st Oct. 2008. I had a telephonic discussion with Ms. Mythri Rao and she registered a complaint for the same and I got a complaint #[protected]. Also She identified the cheque from Korramangala office which I dropped on 8th Sept. 2008. I hope Tata had record for the same.

At that time I informed her that I will not pay rent until unless resolve the problem. She agreed the same and she committed me for the wave OFF on our bill until the problem resolve

On 22nd Oct. Mr Kamath Visited our office and checked the system and told us that there was some problem on modem. He asked me to carry the same to Rajajinagar service centre. IT IS VERY SHAMEFUL THAT TATA ONLY ONE SERVICE CENTRE IN BANGALORE. Since it is 60 Kmtr away from my place and for me it will take one day for up and down journey. So I am really upset and I am ready to handover the modem to Koramangala office.

Finally your customer care department understand my situation and ask me to handover the same to Mr. Kamath. He took the same to Rajajinagar and returned and their observation was NO PROBLEM FOR MODEM. He suggest me that he will get his superior and they will visit our company and resolve the same.

NOBODY IS NOT TURNED BACK TO US FOR THE RECTIFICATION AND RESOLVING THE PROBLEM.

Finally I fed up and I bend the connector so it started to work upto 5 minute and thereafter it started to hang. If we disconnect the same and reconnect it will work.

Again I contacted your compliance dept. for the same issue and you team visited they ask us to take the equipment to Rajajinagar. I am not ready to do it or I don’t want to continue. So finally Tata person took it to service centre and saying that the connector is damaged. Now I want to pay INR 350.00 for connector charge.

In my knowledge any electronic parts which we are buying from any standard company got one year warranty, other than physical Damage.

Now the following points has to be highlighted.
1. The problem started after disconnection ie after 15th Sept.2008. Its worked one moth without any problem and our usage was monthly around 70 Hours.
2. After timings showing 20 to 30 Hours, this while checking the equipment its happening.
3. Initialy the modem is not working at all, but after bending there is some connection
4. Previously your service engineer took the same to service center and he returned without resolving the problem and at that time they are not observed the connector fault.
5. Now the modem is get connected to system and after 5 minutes it’s hanging. Also I would like to bring your notice that the modem is getting hot.
So it is very clear that the problem is not because of connector.

I feel that this story I want to publish in consumer forum for voting and let them vote for my thoughts.

At last I would like to tell you that, I want a workable solutions to resolve my issues. If you are unable to resolve the issues disconnect service and pay me back the entire amount including the initial deposit which I gave to your organization, ie INR 2800.00+1540, Total now you have to pay me back the amount of INR : 4340.00. If incase any delay in payment you have to pay us back 24% interest for the amount.

Also I would like to inform you that this is not the first instant from Tata telservices.

    I have a prepaid connection ([protected]) with tata indicom and bought a product paying Rs2008 in ending of dec 2007.

    in exchange of my spent money i was using 0123 plan (i.e. tata to tata local @0.00, tata to other mobiles @1.00, local land lines @2.00 and std @3.00) the validity of my tarrif was for 2008 days, it would be expired on 14.06.2013.

    in the mean time i didnt make such activity which can make my tarrif lapsed.

    Now the tata indicom is not paying what it must. it has changed my tarrif plan into other plan, that plan had been refused by me by mails and verbal.

    Yet they are cheating with me and has changed my plan.

    It has not been just only with me but with the people like me...

    we had paid the said amount for that product not for being stupid after about 1 yr neither for being cheated after 1 yr.

    Tata indicom has broken the contract without any fault from my side.
    It has not been only with me but with all who were purchased that product.

    A big telcom company cant cheat like this to we indian individuals, if its a famous company.

    Nevertheless they are responsing logically, they are saying that company has changed its rule, which is illogical, yes, it can change but it will have to pay what the contract made while purchasing the product (the tarrif). They are singing only one song, they are not responding any more, we are totally helpless!!!

    Please go through this matter deeply dont overlook, you may think that there may be any fault from our side. No, its will be wrong, we had not made the plan lapsed.

      Tata Indicom has cheated with me by selling me a product and not paying its valid consideration.

      I had purchased a product for my cell no [protected] on about 23.12.2007 by paying its consideration i.e. Rs2008. The consideration payable to me by tata indicom was Talk time of Rs2008, validity of 2008 days, and no changes in previous call tarif[censored]ntil this validity expires. My call tariff was 0123 (tata to tata local mobile 0, to other local mobile and tata land line Re1, to other local land line Rs2, and STD Rs3 per minute), this product was specially for those who were using 0123 tariff and can use the same ‘tata to tata mobile unlimited free talk time’ for 2008 days.


      Now, it is not even one year passed, tata indicom has failed to pay its valid consideration, and saying that the company has changed its rules.


      In frank words it has broken the contract by not paying the valid consideration and making us stupid like this.


      On 04.12.2008 I got a sms from ‘TataOffer’ saying that from 05.12.0008 I will be given a special plan by changing my call tariff. After that I tried customer care (prepaid 12524) but it was inaccessible (not busy), I tried the postpaid no (although I am a prepaid user) and luckily for once I got the line and Ms Amrita told that they have no information on it, she advised to call later, however I requested her that please note if it is so, then I am refusing to accept the new plan. Later prepaid and postpaid, both line became inaccessible (in place of giving option to talk to customer care executive, it was saying you can also write to us at customercare.[protected]@tatatel.co.in) It must be their pre-planed activities as we could not talk to them. Whatever I guessed their pre-plan and rushed to head office of tata indicom and asked about it, firstly they were not taking it seriously but when I said if my plan is getting changed tomorrow i.e. 05.12.2008 then will you restore it??, then an executive tried to help me out and after hours he told that company is going to change its rules and thus the plan will be changed, he was not able to help me any more and given the no and mail id of nodal officer (Mr. Pankaj Sengupta). I talked to Mr. Pankaj Sengupta. He could not help me out and advised to talk his senior official, the senior official told that he is seeing the matter he requested to talk the next day.

      After not accessing the customer care and not getting valid response from tata indicom, I mailed to customer care and nodal officer as if plans would be changed then on the basis of my mail that was made on 04.12.08 (the plan was about to be changed on 05.12.2008) I could say that the same must be restored. After about an hour the nodal officer replied the mail by saying he hopes no unexpected thing would take place. The later day in morning I got a phone call in reply of my mail that the sms should be ignore there would be no change in my plan, my plan was not changed that time.
      Again on the same day I came to know that plan will be changed I again mailed to nodal officer and customer care and the nodal officer self phoned me in evening and told that my plan will be changed at any moment and the matter is not in his hand, he agreed that I should apply other ways.


      I don’t complain for their bad service and response which seems like kidding with me…

      I just want to request that under Contract Act, its wrong, please help me out and please do the needful as I would consume my actual tariff.

      Due to this unexpected cheating I got disappointed and could not even concentrate on my study.

      Please help me out immediately.

        I had submitted my LG Walky handset along with all accessories and papers as demanded by the staff at VSNL office, Kolkata, on[protected]. I was told that the said security deposit will reach to me by courier within one month. But unfortunately I have not got it till date. It also seems that the concerned officials of TATA Indicom are not very keen to inform me anything about this matter, whenever I tried to contact them on phone.
        I am also facing same problem. I am not getting the security deposit since last 180 Days.

        Please suggest how you have resolved this issue.

          My purpose to mail you is regarding complian i had done to tataindicom nodal officer about forcefully plan change of my Tata number [protected] & [protected]

          It came into my notice on 5 Jan 2009 that my balance is getting deducted for calling tata numbers.
          So i made a complain number 41422 ON 5 JAN 2008 which had been closed without resolving my tariff problem.


          I had taken tata connection in below plan for which i was charged Rs 0 for any tata number. But now i have been charged for tata calls.

          Call plan Call Charges
          Tata to Tata 0
          Tata to any mobile 1
          Tata to landline 2
          Tata to STD call 3

          At the time of taking connection, Tata company had commited to me that my call tariff will be same till validity of connection.

          In my family i had 6 tata indicom numbers. I had done huge investment on tata handsets for every member of family, as only tata connection work in handsets.


          Nodal office had unilaterally decided to change the tariff without any intimation.
          I demand an explanation and revision of the tariff plan as per the scheme under which I have enrolled upto June 2013.
          The balance which has got deducted from the day you have changed the scheme also needs to be credited back & my balance as on 5 dec was Rs 2122.

          Tata group is cheating customers like any thing, same thing happen with me & myfriends. Our NSM offers is stopped by tata indicom. Tata Nodal officer & applicate officer are giving reply "Aap se jo ho sake woh kar lena Customer humara kya ukhad lega". TATA have very bad staff in their company due to this kind of behavior to customers. Tata is making losses in every company.


          Now i dont buy any of TATA product. I think tata group is cheating customers like any thing.

            i have a tata indicom connection No. [protected] for unlimitied tata to tata free till june 2013 as per scheme 2008 i recahge my account by Rs 2008 but now company change this plan automaticaly without any pre-information or my permission and company deactivate this facility . i have already mail to company but still not reply so pls supprot and solve my problem as soon as possible

            TATA Indicom — automatically changing of installation area

            my tata indicom number[protected] automatically changes its installation area due to which i m not able to make & recieve calls

            I am Shuvayu Biswas using a Tata Indicom prepaid since 21-FEB-2006. I recharge with RCV2008 probably January-February, 2008. The offer is: 5 years Local Tata to Tata Unlimited Free call with other local mobile call charge Rs 1/min.
            But suddenly TTSL withdraw the offer & modify it into some poor offer in 6th December, 2008.I lost Rs 350 for that.

            TTSL never inform me about that change in offer. I am informed by some friend on 16th December, 2008. I call Tata Indicom Customer Care. They only say "SORRY" & "Extremly Sorry".

            I am common customer & I regret to inform you that TTSL harass me. It affects mental tension, money loss, loss of time while talking with company.

            Yesterday I lost my phone & my prepaid chip is inside the phone my No. is [protected] I wanted to lock my no. because in case some body trying to miss use of no. I request you to please lock my No. & plz reply me immediately.

            TATA Indicom — MY CONNECTION IS NOT WORKING AS PER PURCHASE PLAN

            I HAVE PURCHASE TATA INDICOM NEW MOBILE WITH PAY PER CALL PLAN BY HOSHIARPUR PUNJAB FROM TATA OFFICE. AFTER ONE MONTH MY PLAN CONVERTED IN NORMAL PLAN AND I ASK TO DEELAR BUT HE DID NOT RESPONCE PROPER.
            i am also having the same problem.

            I had purchase around 10 Tata mobile handsets with new numbers under the unlimited T2T plan till 2013 for Rs.2008 each.

            Suddenly the company migrated our plan to some 600 minutes /month plan without our consent.

            We have given several complaints verbally as well as in writting to their head office in N. Delhi.

            Now to our further shock the company discontinued this 600 min./month scheme also from 25th April 2011.

            Is this a loot. Are all politicians alongwith the corporates (surprisingly Tata group also !) here to milk the money from the general public !!?

            The company is defiant and not responding positively. They would even hand up the call at 121.

            When we had purchased a product of Rs.2008 with a defined services till year 2013, how can the company damage its sold product and change its specifications & conditions for which the consumer had purchased. This is cheating.

            Has anyone approached the courts for this. If yes, please share your experiences on the matter.

            I also propose to form a joint association against Tata on the issue.

              I have the TATA Post Paid UIM, which has been disconnected from your side due to non payment on time.
              i got bill sum of Rs. 250/-

              and i paid the 270/- by cheque which has been cleared also.
              but till date my connection is not activated.

              WHY?

                I had taken Tata Indicom Wi Max connection on 4/11/2008, 256 Kbps Unlimited, and for this I had already paid around 3700 INR,
                But from the first day itself I am not getting connectivity, and ocasionally it connects, since then I logged almost 5-6 complaints, but no one visited to fix this problem. And when I ask for the status of the complaint they simply says that they have already closed the complaint as they saw usage from my side. I already told them that yes ocasionally connects, but my question is do they log how many times hours and days customer had attemped to get this connectivity.
                Everyday I return from office and spends almost an hour and two hour to get the connectivity.

                Finally I decided to cancel this connection, then these shameless people says that I won't get my remaining 3 months money back.

                If anyone is listening then can you please advise me what to do now? I tried everything which was possible, now my last hope is this site, Please help me. Money is not the matter but I am feeling fooled and cheated, this is realling hurting me and still these people are flourishing. I want to stop these people to cheat others. Please help me.

                ..its Karan (Atal) here dude... do one thing ..the same thing that I did to Airtel when those ppl cheated on me...they disconnected the connection and I had to pay 4750 for 6 months that too after disconnection... so I did something ...something very ...extremely foolish...and I had to spend a lot of money paying to the people whom I've hired for this job...BUT I felt a looooooooooot of satisfaction (TASALLI or SUKOON) after doing this... I hired some airtel employees and they used to gave me each and every information...about all their new costumers...whenever I got to know that someone is going to get a new airtel connection in my area, I used to inform my ppl and they just destroyed all the connection access points that airtel uses to provide connections to the people...and cut all the main wire lines...and as a result airtel could never provide its connection to anyone in my colony for 3 and a half years... my loss was just 4750, and theirs... in lacs... they had to lose hundreds of costumers in the whole of my huge colony... I KNOW THIS COULDN'T LET ME HAVE MY MONEY BACK, BUT IT SOMEWHERE GAVE ME THE FEELING AS IF I HAVE FULFILLED MY REVENGE WITH AIRTEL...
                ...HEY EVERYONE...DO NOT EVER THINK THAT YOU ARE JUST A REGULAR GUY AND YOU CANNOT FIGHT TO THE HUGE TELECOM COMPANY...YOU DEFINITELY CAN... FOR SURE... THERE ARE WAYS FOR EVERYTHING...JUST DEPENDS ON YOU IF YOU CAN SEARCH THEM...all I think is that... jo kaam kar rahe ho...woh sahi hona chahiye...tareeka beshaq galat hi kyun na ho...

                  i have availed tata indicom broadband 512 kbps unlimited internet connection(Rs1500per month fixed) since last one month.but in spite of paying advance for one month i dont get a regular reliable connection..i hav spent 500 rupees on phone talking to to tata indicom help line.still half the time i cant get an ip to my internet connection to establish a connection.after that the speed of the internet never goes beyond 40 kbps.after all this now comes the intersting fact.as i availed a connection from 25th of october and their billing date is from 1st of one month 2 1st of next month,
                  i got a bill for date 25th oct to 30th of oct.as i cudnot pay in due time they cut my connection.after 2 weeks i payed the sum.till two weeks my connection was disconnected.after paying the bill for paying the bill for 5 days still the internet is not working.and they are going to cut the internet again on 1st of december for advance charge of one month.Since normal people cant do anything against this.after paying the amount for full one month and 5 days i cud use it only for 10 days effectively.any suggeston regarding this is most welcome nd i will b very thankfull.f

                      I have taken TATA indicom broadband unlimited connection prepaid . I'm paying Rs 1020/- per month.
                      I'm facing a problem of frequent disconnection for the last 2 months.
                      Each and every 10 to 15 minutes my connection will get disconnected. More than 5 times I made compliant for this with their customer service center.
                      But still my problem continues. The worst part is, even though I'm not able to use my internet properly, my money is getting debited from my account.

                      Tata Indicom Broadband — Frequenty get disconnected

                      I am using TataIndicom Broad Band connection from 2 years at my home for personal use in pune (hadapsar area). The internet connection gets disconnected frequently in last 2 months. No one cares about customers even system enginerrs and call center guys also. their service is worst. They take 3 4 days to reconnect gain and there is no gurantee for continuity aslo. Very very bad experience using TATA Indicom BroadBand. My suggestion is if other option is there then plz plz dont go for tata indicom broad band .....
                      I have aleading Browsing Center in Alleppey.We have 2 connection for Tata Indicom. our problem is frequently disconnected . so many times i have about the problem for the alleppey office persion but no clear the problems . my customers are compliment to me . so pls clear my problems. connection is very slow

                        I got my broadband bill for the month of Novemeber 2008 and its due date is 5/6 of the December 2008.
                        But today (Sunday 30 Nov) at 1:30 two guys came to me for the bill collection.
                        I was very much shocked because the due date is still very far and without any call they came to my home.
                        How can these collection agents come to my home before the due date and without any prior call, and also the important thing is its sunday today.
                        We live in a democratic country and I hope no as such can't come to my home and disturb my social well being.

                        After that I asked those guy to let me talk to the responsible person from where they came.
                        Then I had talk with somebody there, I said the above matter regarding my due date and said him not to send guys for collection in this way.

                        But he replied very rudely and said
                        " This is our month end and we can send anybody, anytime if you don't want to use our services its ok."

                        Then I also replied in the same way stating that they can't come before due day.

                        Again read his answer:
                        " I can send. I don't want you as customer, I will not provide you services anymore."

                        It seems that TATA Broadband services are owned by these collection agents and they can talk to any customer like this and also they can decide to give services to the customer or not.

                        I don't understand how these things work with such an esteemed organisation.

                        TATA Indicom — irresponsible behavior towards customer

                        This is to bring to the notice to the authorities about the irresponsible behavior of the Tata Indicom Broadband personnel towards the customers.
                        I had registered a complaint on 17th April with the no 12053224 relating to a problem with the service. it had stopped for over 6 days prior to that. they had given me a time of 4 hrs for rectification but it took over 48hrs for them to come.
                        They had checked the entire issue and assured us of rectifying it the next day by morning. We had informed them that we wouldn't be available after 9am and before 4 pm. But after over hundreds of calls we got a response today giving us lame excuses about the non availability of people at home at 10:30 am. How can they be so irresponsible and pathetic giving us such lame excuses.
                        After giving a call to their employee,he gave another excuse saying that he wasn't available, and gave us another number which turned out to be a person whose been with the company for a WEEK!!! How lame is that.It still isn't repaired and they gave us another 24hrs time to wait.. Its now over 10days of no internet... Irresponsibility at its peak...
                        I wish that the people at TATA would understand that their company is respected by everyone in the country. looking at other complaints in this forum it seems that Tata has been having a lot of problems with their customer care.
                        JUST DO SOMETHING Mr. RATAN..... Your company is seeming very pathetic.

                          This is one of those many instances where Tata Indicom has proven that they are not fit to be in the broadband business with sheer negligence and nonchalant behaviour towards their customers. I made a mistake by going for tata indicom broadband connection for my residence (C1/704, Hari Ganga Complex, Opp RTO, Yerwada, Pune - 411006. Maharashtra), also because there was no other option - there is a monopoly in my society where only BSNL phone connections and only Tata indicom broadband services are provided. Though there was also Sify broadband being provided, but Sify's customer service is worse when compared to tata.

                          The problem now is - The internet connection goes down time and again and whenever I complain, I am given 12 working hrs time frame to fix it.

                          It was once down for three days (complaint docket number[protected]. Now it has been down since the last three days and no one at tata indicom customer care even cares about it. I have been given two docket numbers for this complaint[protected] &[protected] and am being told time & again that this will be resolved in 12 working hrs.

                          One customer care executive even told me that their system has been updated saying that this call is fixed and resolved and everything is working fine, when nothing is fixed. How can tata be so pathetically casual that they can update the system with false information?

                          Frustrated, I tried call head of operations (rest of maharashtra) Mr Samit Dey and his phone (number - [protected]) is switched off. No wonder this sense of non responsibility is flowing down from the top from Mr Samit Dey to each of custmer care executives.

                              Dear Sir,

                              My name is Jahanara Begum residing at 7B, Banshi Dutta Road. Kolkata -700014 and we have been a Tata Indicom customer for more than a year. My husband Sheikh Abdullah had bought a Tata Indicom landline connection (tel no. :[protected], account no.[protected] under his name at our residence and was promised a zero line rental and we will only have to pay call charges under Tariff plan: Ws 3 Yr Zero rental Plan. The zero line rental never happened and we have to pay a lot more somewhere around Rs.378/- line rental every month plus call charges. My husband spoke to their customer service and they said that in order to get the zero line rental we will have to take another landline connection from them on the same tariff plan. So my husband bought another Tata Indicom landline connection (tel no. :[protected], account no.[protected] under my name on the same Tariff plan: Ws 3 Yr Zero rental Plan at our premises. The zero line rental never happened again and infact they charged another Rs.358/- line rental per month for every month. Moreover, the Tata Indicom agent came to my house and handed me a Tata Indicom mobile connection (mob no - [protected]) saying that it was completely free with no line rental, and I will only have to pay call charges for the mobile. The mobile bill will be combined with my residential landline phone bill account no.[protected]. Now to my surprise, when I received my combined bill it showed wrong billing of both landlines line rental and extra mobile rental of around Rs. 368/- per month for every month. I made a complaint to their customer service and told them to cancel my mobile connection. They told me to clear my bills first and they will cancel my mobile connection once bills are cleared. I had cleared my bills but the very next month I receive the same bill with rentals for both landlines and mobile as well. This has been happening all the time. I had always cleared my bills in the hope that my mobile connection would be cancelled. Finally I wrote a letter stating to cancel my mobile connection which was signed and approved by their agent Mr. Dipak Das dated 16/07/2008 but to no avail. Again in the month of October 2008 their agent said that if we pay Rs. 600/- our Incoming calls will be restored and mobile connection would be cancelled as they have cut off both the Incoming and outgoing calls long time back on both the landlines and mobile. We paid this amount on 27/10/2008 but the Incoming calls were never restored.



                              They have cheated on me many times, by false promising me on many occasions. Giving me wrong information and mis-selling me their second connection and further handing me a mobile connection saying that there is no line rental for the mobile. When told to cancel my mobile account they tell me to pay my bills which I always did but the very next month they send the wrong bills again. I totally want to cancel all Tata connection now as we have been lied and cheated. We will not pay our bills now as no action is being taken from Tata Indicom. In fact they are liable to pay us compensation as they have charged us extra on every bills and has cheated on us.

                              What should I do? Kindly advice.

                              TATA Indicom — Extra billing charges

                              Tata indicom: I am the customer of it and from last 4 months i am having the problem of the extra charges which they are giving me everymonth and this month again they have done the same and they are not ready to resolve this problem i am wasting my time by calling them i am not a fool so that i will give the bill that calls also which i have not done . the money which we earned is hard workd money and they people are like some blooddrunkers.

                                i have taken new connection of tata indicom (cdma 1x usb modem) i want to disconnect it now temporarily means today on 2/3/2010 till 19/3/2010.because i will be out of station from tomorrow.so kindly look on to my request as soon as possible.

                                TATA Indicom — Status of connection disconnected

                                I have Tata Indicom connection since a year. My Tel No is[protected]. Whenever I call the customer services, they say that my connection status in their system is disconnected right from the day of my connection. But still, I receive my Bills regularly & have made payments of all the bills. In-spite of regular complaint, the issue has not been solved in one year.The customer executive on the phone told to visit the nearest service center which I did. But still no action has been taken. I cannot register any complaint over phone as they say that your status is disconnected for no reason & I will have to visit the service center.
                                From the past week, I cannot receive any calls in my landline. If anyone call me, there is no response & also the caller is charged even though I didn't get the call. When I contacted the customer service, they gave me the old story that your line is disconnected & hence you visit the nearest service center.

                                i have been in trouble as my no one can call me & the Tata indicom representatives are not taking any action inspite of number of complaints in one year.

                                My tata indicom prepaid no [protected] has been disconnected without informing me .
                                When i tried to contact customer support they could give any information .
                                I dont know when I will get mty connection back .
                                Hi, I have disconnected the Tata indicom landline number[protected] after clearing all the dues and the balance is showing as Nil. But when I checked with Customer care by lodging complaint to disconnect the connection and reimburse the deposit amount paid.

                                The Customer care people have confirmed that I would get the refund back for an amount of Rs.800/- and this happened 40 days ago and still there is no response received from them.

                                Kindly advise what need to be done on this and how to approach to get back this deposit amount.

                                I requested over phone to disconnect my TATA DOCOMO landline Number [protected] for many times. All the times replied that please pay your dues. But when I paid my any dues, then connection again started after disconnecting for two / three days. So last time I did not pay my bill. But many times called to me my mobile number [protected] to pay my dues and told that the connection will be disconnected after my payment. But finally all the time connection is active after paid my dues. Please disconnect my line. After this I will not pay any bill in future. Because your reply is not authentic.

                                  I am Arjun Kumawat working in tcs delhi.i’m from sanwer dist. indore (m.p.).
                                  The complaint is about ill services of tata indicom and its dealer.
                                  On 11/12th nov 2008 I purchased a mobile numbered [protected] with tata indicom connection from its dealer
                                  at Gujrati samaj building, Nai sarak, ujjain(m.p.) by submitting all documents he requested. Then at18/19th nov a call from tata-indicom informs us that you have not submitted docs so outgoing is not allowed.we contacted to that dealer who was not there and even out of contact. Then at 22nd the incoming facility was also barred. We continuously tried to contact that person but stil not reachable.
                                  Then at 23rd he receives my call and tells me that due to some reasons the problem is created but would be solved by tomorrow(means 24th ). But even today (at 25th ) I am not able to use that no. Now when I am calling that dealer (mobile [protected]) he’s not responding me.
                                  I have tried his mobile more than 50 times but he did not received my call.
                                  I am in delhi currently that’s why iam not able to give bill details now but can make available whenever needed.
                                  In delhi I purchased another mobile of same carrier on 14th nov and done a recharge of Rs.499 to remain in touch and close with my family but it is not possible.
                                  Now I am feeling cheated by making calls at higher std rates with family to reduce their worries.
                                  Please take necessary steps towards all these ill services and my inconveniences.

                                    Afterwriting mails to customer services at TATA Broadband umpteen number of times to which they have seldom responded and whenever they would reply it would be to intimate me that my connection has been restored and they further cannot take up my case.

                                    My router was replaced after arguing for about 12 days.

                                    My Compaq Laptops motherboard got burnt in the outage that took place in Pondicherry on 30.10.2008. All the routers in the vicinity ofThattanchavady Industrial area and TATA Broadbands main server also got burnt and got replaced after a weeks outage in services.

                                    Kindly instruct someone in your team/ services department to replace/repair my notebook.

                                      I have taken Tata Indicom postpaid connection.But despite of submitting address proofs twice, my billing address is wrong and I haven't seen my bill yet.upon asking them to send me itemise bill through e-mail these customer care person's have send mail to wronf e-mail address.They cant evn write proper address after spelling it off to them.I got that after 3 weeks and now again they ask to submit address proofs third time inorder to rectify the address.The itemised bill sent by them doesnt show complete details like total calls discounted and all that stuff so that i can verfiy whether bill charged is right.

                                      i have Taa indicom pre paid connection.As the scheme comes for paying 299 for a year for 50 paise call on all network, i take the scheme but very much times i get charged against my scheme.And Tata indicom customer care servise is so much poor that i'm tring to close this no.this is completely rediculus.

Iam really sorry to say you guys that im upset with that move. Just try to increase atleast the msg offer or else it would be realy inconvienent for me to go along with your service. On 20.04.09, withourt informing, deducted Rs. 100/- for STD PACK, for which I nevver agreed and dispite cnstant request fo refud, never refunded this amount. Most useless service and on the top replying me that I had only requested for this facitlty. People should really not opt for this Tata telecom.
                                      i have taken a new connection of indicom services and i got the SIM card providing 1000 minutes talktime. i on the first day itself tried to recharge my account with a RS 10 value voucher and RS 30 SMS pack but i did't get any feedback of recharge and when i tried again again then my SIM has been blocked for 4 days and still blocked saying YOU CAN'T RECHARGE THIS ACCOUNT.

                                      And on the other side i am unable to talk to the customer care services listening WE HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED YOUR COMPLETE DOCUMENTS but the retailer from where i got the connection he says your documents has been sent appropriately and you dont have any problems regarding this submission.

                                      so after some days enineer came here and battery replace but battery is not a fresh as told me your engineer.After replace the batery same result.phone is not charge.so once i call to anand customer care
                                      at that time mrs Dimpleben said me now i am not repair the phone in free of charge so you have to pay for new batery.your instment was also change but problem was not solve.Now your service provider and engineer is not attand my complaint and mrs dimpleben says me if you want to repair the phone than your have to come here with your phone.Now your call centre lady said me i had no any record for your complaint.
                                      when i launch first complaint at than time my instment is in working condition but after the replace the instment and batery in is totaly dead.After this period every day i charge 15 hours but its batery backup is 15 min.so now what i do.i face problem since last 4 months.

                                        My id was [protected]@vsnl.net

                                        I took a broadband connection from Tata Communication, paid 4 months rent in advance to prevent installation charges. After the installation I used this connection only for one month, but its services were worst, I faced lots of problems like frequent disconnect, request time outs, downtime etc. Finally I placed the request to disconnect the connection. Now company is not refunding the amount paid for the unused months.
                                        Could anyone please advice me how to proceed ?

                                        As I had to travel to UK, In a hurry i opted for TATA Broadband connection via cable at my house in Hyderabad for my aged parents and bette half. It is the worst ever experience my family and me are suffering with. It is a prepaid connection and we had paid them 6 months advance. It is always down and when ever you call the customer care - the service is just sick. The attitude of service staff and techical staff to repaire and resume the connection is beyond a tipical government working attitude. They have plenty reasons to tell us why it cannot work properly. I have requested them many times including their SO CALLED APPELLETE AUTHORITY for action and refund of money - BUT SURPRISE, NO PROPER RESPONSE EVEN FROM TATA APPELLETE AUTHORITY OF HYDERABAD AND THEIR HEAD FROM MUMBAI.
                                        the only way can do is try calling the tata customer care or visit nearest tata office, I faced a lot and even now, I keep receiving errors on network but its getting better.

                                        It's more than 15day days, all the documents, and information submitted but still nothing, CFA no activated[protected]. The worst service provider, worst customer support .
