Dear Sir

This is a complaint about the Tata Indicom Internet connection pen drive which is of substandard quality and the exclusive Tata Indicom Centre in Sector 18 NOIDA specifically against Mr SUMIT SHARMA who is the manager

I have purchased a pen drive from Tata Indicom SXC 1080 Sungil telecom(EpiValley co ltd) from Bombay, HEX 09E3F262, S/N: SUSB960572, manufactured Sep 2007, this device got spoiled and stopped working within 4 months of purchase!

When I went to teh Tata indicom centre in Se c 18 NOIDA which is close to where I live, the manager just asked me one question: where was it purchased and said he cannot help me as it wa spurchased in Bombay, he did not even check the device (to see if there was something wrong that could be corrected right away, I had specifically carried my laptop for this), did not bother to give me any information regarding service centreson asking for help just said GO TO BOMBAY!!

This behaviour is very unprofessional, rude and not befitting any rep much less a manager, if he sets such an example what is the staff supposed to follow??

I have been informed that the problem can be fixed in NOIDA itself, but this was really very wrong of MR SUMIT SHARMA, he does not deserve to be manager

maine aap ki company ki pen drive 14/02/08 ko purchase ki thi jis ka no-ESN-09E61B48, manufacture date nov/2007 hai yeh ab working nahi kar rahi service centre me check karba le hai service centre sey do mil gaya magar company ka distributor keh raha hai ki is ko mere pass chod do 15 din m echange hogi main itne din kaya karu maine coustmer care main complain ki hai magar koi jabab nahi mila jab bhi complaint karo to jabab milta hai wait karo mera is pendrive ki baje sey 1000/per day loss ho raha hai pl mery help kare my contact no [protected], vinay

    My Tata Indicom mobile set (MDN:[protected]; Sr.No.:[protected]), after expiry of two years of purchase (Purchase dt.[protected] cannot be recharged owing to software problem. LCD displays "AEERefUTALar 00837" after opening the cell and automatically closes immediately and it repeats.Hoit can be resolved online?

    i lost my mobile phone on 30/03/2008 [protected] & i want the servicer to be stopped for that no.

    I have two numbers of tata indicom [protected] & [protected] both are prepaid. The second one is of haryana and always gone not reacheable. My complaint no is[protected] but no body hear it. Tata indicom has very very poor service. I am suffering from this more then 4 days, even customer care service care center can cut off my phone when i call them. Please notify it & take any step.

        With great remorse I reminisce the day I applied for a new TATA MOBILE CONNECTION from Delhi. Ever since I have had to endure sleepless nights not to overlook the numerous visits to their head office and talks with ignoramus souls who had zilch concern about my woes.
        Now the concern: I had applied for Tata Post-paid Connection online on the 15th of February; a representative came to collect the documents the same day by evening. He informed me that if I pay cash of Rs. 1000 I will get the handset and the connection (with plan 0123) on the 17th. However, if I pay through cheque, I will get the handset and the connection activated on the 19th. A gentleman named Mr. Pradeep ([protected]) came from ITBL Telecom Pvt. Ltd., Harijase House,34/22, East Patel Nagar and I decided to pay him in cash and the documents which he asked me for(PAN Card & Address Proof-Original statement from HDFC Bank),as I wanted the connection as soon as possible. I was assured and re-assured that I will get the connection on the 19th. I got my handset with the SIM (inactivated) on the 21st February. Now I had to get the SIM Card activated and for the same I called up Mr Pradeep multiple times and he kept on disconnecting my calls. Then I was informed to call up the TATA Customer Service to get the SIM activated. On calling them up I was informed that my SIM will be activated once the address verification is complete. Today being the 3rd of March, I was astonished that the address verification is still not complete. I had also gone to the Tilak Nagar Head Office on the 24th of February with my Address proof once again so that the address verification gets completed. I was informed that within 72 hrs the address verification will be completed and the SIM will get activated. From 24th February till date there is no verification done and “there won’t be any further verification as well”. Today I went to the Tilak Nagar office again and I was informed that I will have to purchase a new connection because the executives from the verification department were not able to locate my house. I informed them that it is not possible as all my documents had my contact numbers on it, but they refused saying that I will have to purchase a new connection and there is nothing that can be done. I was informed that I will get the reimbursement of the sum which I had paid but there will be a deduction of Rs.100 as part of the policy. What is shocking to hear that the gentleman sitting in the Tilak Nagar Branch was not even interested to hear what I had to say and he said that “nothing can be done even if you approach the Consumer Court or the TRAI” and was very sarcastic in his tone.
        It’s not about Rs. 100 which were deducted, it’s about the hard times and frustration that I had to go though and what’s outlandishly shocking is the kind of indifferent treatment meted to me by the TATA EMPLOYEES. Furthermore I vow never ever to recommend a TATA MOBILE to any of my acquaintances.
        I wonder how many other customers would be getting tricked by these people, and losing their hard earned money due to NO FAULT OF THEIRS whatsoever. Taking that into consideration I thought it appropriate to HIGHLIGHT this matter on a larger scale in the interest of the MASSES.
        Henceforth I would request you to please escalate this issue to the highest appropriate authority so that customers like me don’t suffer at the hands of big behemoths like these and it becomes befitting example for other companies to follow.

        sir, I bought a postpaid connection of which number is [protected] purchase date of this cordless walky set is 21.06.07 & bill no. is DL 00402632.we are sufferring from the problem of its manufacturing deffect since it was purchased, we had already lodged complaints somany times but we dont get any proper response from them.still we are having our warranty period but then after that they are denying to repair it or they are demanding Rs. 1, 850-/ for it's repair. Earlier they told us their is a problem in its mother board & hardware it has to repair again, but when we are claiming our warranty period they are refusing to have the manu.. deffect & giving false statement of physical damages. pls. kindly concern on this matter as soon as it is possible.otherwise i would like to go to consumer court, i had already sent a legal notice to the Vendor & service centre.
        The TATA INDICOM agent cheat us by providing wrong information. We opted a walky with a pantech mobilein Combo offer few months ago. The agent explained us, if you pay Rs. 75/- {package} then the out going calls for all tata landlines, mobiles are free throughout Andhra Pradesh. But we found few bills that most of the outgoing calls for tata landline, mobiles were billed. I visited your customer care centre in Dwarakanagara, Visakhapatnam, then I known about the agent. These people are cheating the customers. Then how could I solve my problem. Try to provide a solution to me. I was totally dissappointed with your services, and I request you to tell the agents don't cheat the customers. If they do like this no one want to use Tata services.In E.G.Dist I listened if we take Rs.75/- package all out going calls for Tata landlines and mobile calls are free. Then why this package is not working here. Please solve our problem. I heared so many people are facing this problem. So please solve our problem, otherwise we will other proceedings.

        i received a call of lady and she said that i am acalling from tata indicom on 23rd of July 2008 and she says that i have a plan ofRs.150(honest plan) and she told me about the scheme related to this plan. then i agreed to buy this plan then she said that tommorow(24th july) our representative collect all the documents and on 24th july a representative came to collect the documents .I pay cash of Rs. 1000 and he gave me the two SIM and pay slip.           After that we have given compliant on 3rd February 2008 for the restoration of the service (Tel No:[protected] surprisingly the service is restored on 12th February afternoon 2.30 pm. After the restoration of the service the Broad-band connection was working for about 48 hours and stop working on 15th morning. We have given another complaint (complaint No: 4945634) which is yet to be rectified. We have been reminding repeatedly for the service every day calling the above telephone number[protected]. We also inform the executive that, if the services are not restored, we are constrain to proceed with consumer forum, still the Tata Indicom Broadband people are least bothered of our requests.

          The Tata Indicom Broadband Wi-max services is Pre-Paid and we have opted power on&on 6-256 for 6 months paying Rs 6,068.00 (rupees Six thousand sixty eight only) in advance. It is more than a month now the service is still inactive.

          We are very much annoyed of the service people attitude and forced to proceed with Consumer court. We had never expected this sort of service from India’s renowned Tele-service company.

          I installed my service on the 16th of August, today is 21st August, but I have not had even 5 minutes of service yet. the tech support is the worst i have ever seen, they didnt send anyone to my place to fix the problem, nor have they refunded any money.

          Tata Indicom Broadband — No Connectivity

          I'm a tata indicom broadband prepaid subscriber. My user name is: meghaagarwal
          Since last one month there is connectivity during day time. Prior to that there was no connectivity at all. After making n number of complaints over a month and half they replaced the cable as it was faulty. but now after the cable replacement there is no connection during the the day time. They promise to resolve the issue within 24 hours and this commitment is continuously being given since a month or so. My call number for the same is:6728840.
          They are not taking any step for this in spite of making so many calls to the customer care.
          Please look into the issue as everybody in my locality who is having Tata Indicom Broadband is facing the same issue.

          Tata Indicom Broadband — No Connectivity since last 1 month

          I'm a Tata Indicom Broadband Prepaid subscriber. I'm facing the problem of no connectivity since last 2 months or so. After making large number of complaints someone from Tata Indicom visted my places and changed the cable as it was faulty. Now after that here is no connectivity during the major part of daytime. I'm calling up the customer care so many times, still they are not resolving the issue. Everytime they make promise for the issue to be resolved in 24 hours, but it is not happening. My complaint number is : 6728840.
          I've asked for the money refund as there is no connectivity for almost 10 hours in a day, so that i'll take up another connection. They are not answering that. I've asked for changing the line to ADSL, but they are not doing that as well.
          That's a case of cheating the subscribers after giving them prepaid connection and no connectivity.
          I am following up ticket #1633427 but It has not been resolved for last 10 days.
          I have taken 2 connections of wimax(512kbps), I am daily facing problems in connecting to the network, have made several complaints to the customer care, but it seems they are not at all concerned about the grievances of their customers.

          Tata Indicom Broadband — Unreliable and poor service

          I am using the infinity 384 package of Tata Indicom in the Bangalore BTM area. For past 40 days I am unable to use my connection in the evening, and when I lodged a complaint to the Customer care, their said that this problem cannot be rectified for next three weeks as we have capacity constraint. Further after three weeks my complaint was closed without solving my problem, when I asked about that it was told that my contact number is unreachable (which I can't believe) and agreed to open a new request, and this new is open till date and no action has been taken by the Tata engineers. Contacting nodal officer also didn't helped as he simply repeated the same story and denied any help in this regard. Now if I cannot use the connection when I want to use it, then there is no use of that connection...NEVER-EVER think of even trying the Tata broadband connections atleast in Bangalore.

          I have been using tata indicom broadband for over 3 years. May be because tata tower is too close to my house by now i have been using it, But i realize what people have said above . Even sometimes i face a problem and once i face any problem i dont know how long they will take to rectify it but thanks tower is too close and due to that they somehow rectify the problem but tata indicom is really the service where none seems to be bothered about your problem no matter what you lose .
          I completey agree with what has happened here because that is what exactly has happened with me and had I seen this forum earlier, I would have gone to the consumer court earlier.

          Since I have been totally misled by the customer service people who keep telling me beautiful stories every time I call up wasting my money (approximately one thousand rupees on mobile talktime since the day I started having trouble with my connection) until this day, I will sue them in the consumer court next week.

          I am serving this legal notice to Tata Indicom after convincing myself that these people are only looting us in the name of Tata the great man who saw about bringing a change to India and look what these people have turned up as (wolves in sheep's cloth) just a few decades after him conning us off the hook of a telephone.

          TATA Indicom — Unreliable Service and cheating

          Tata Phonton + - So called 3.1 MBps mobile broadband - Raised a complaint in the 2 week of Jan 2011 that i am not getting decent speed (gmail post login page took 2 min to load) - The representative (a lady) told me that they are having problems in my area and would be resolved before Jan 31st Jan 2011, she also told me that i will be getting a weaver in the bill, the SR number for this was[protected], When i got a bill, there was no weaver and i finally cancelled the connection, without paying the tata Photon bill, but to not adequate service. On asking why the bill was not paid i gave the above SR which they say is not there in their records - I dont know how this happened.

          In the same time i got a wired connect in my home through TATA indicom - Now after using it for 3 days, the internet connection does not seem to work. In calling the call center on 3rd Feb (SR#[protected] the call center guy not knowing the account is suspended due to the above reason takes my time (around 30 min) to do a diagnostic check, finally after 3 days of follow-up the engineer turns to my home and after he cannot fix the issue, and consulting various people over phone - he tells me "The account is suspended for FRAUD reasons". How can Tata Indicom guys call the above case a fraud when they have done a us-trust-full act in the above case. Also how can they suspend a other line without proper notice. I am not having the connection yet and trying to reach Nodal Office, Ms. Saguna Shetty (I get a response mail for my SR[protected] from Tata Indicom mentioning to contact her if the case is not resolved on 4th Feb ) I have been trying to reach her since morning and she is busy in meetings (i wonder how can anybody be in meetings the whole day when they have important issues to take care) - I have nothing but to say - Tata Indicom is fooling people giving unrealistic info in the advertisements and having the worst service.

            this is your customer named Sandeep kumar sharma, i have one Tata indicomm connection, this connection is for Kharagpur WB, i have take this connection from may 2007 but right now i have some problem in my connection
            what happen when i am going for other cities, my mobile is not working, all the servces withdrawn, but when i come to kharagpur or kolkata only incoming is running, other wise i am not getting incoming facilities in Jharkhand or other states, i am personally coming in tata Indicomm office which is situated in

            Hi,

            I am facing a big problem with tata indicomm postpaid walky. Due to some technical fault walky not working proprly. I complaint many times to customer care for the same but they have not respond posiyivly. They have no manner how to talk with customer they shouted when they were asking for the information about the walky details. If they have no warrenty or replaments aggrement with the manufacturer of the walky should inform the customer at the time of purchase.

              UIM card blocked, PUK code not available with Tataindicom customer care center or the distributor

              I have purchased a cell phone on 14th Feb.' 08 from Tataindicom outlet (Huawei C5320) & a connection bearing Mobile No.[protected] & UIM Card Sl. No.[protected]. Presently i am unable to use the phone as its UIM card has got blocked & the display is asking to enter PUK code, which is neither available with Tataindicom Cust. care (12524) nor with thw shop from where it has been purchased. I am left with last attempt to...

              I took a Tata Indicom USB connection but it stopped working in 3 days when complained nobody turned up. When told about going to consumer forum they re responding stating they are not responsible for anything after the connection is provided.

                respected sir,
                i have tata indicom wireless landline phone for last 4 years. tata send there collection executive for collection of bill . last month bill was rs 3974/- , due date 8/2/2008. but there executive came on 12/2/08. after 2 days they cut our line saying that you have not paid the bill. then for next two days phone remain cut off. today i.e. on 22.2.08 they have again cut our phone. so, please help me and resolve our problem.

                  Following is the frustrating and unbearable ongoing torture on me done by TATA Indicom Pune division (TTML).

                  I myself Mr. Abhilash Sahoo working as asst. manager in TATA Motors LTd. have applied for New TATA Indicom "Walky 10" connection in JANUARY.

                  And i got a first response from TATA Indicom by call on 5TH Feb.

                  My appointment was fixed on 6th Feb in the evening with Mr. Mahes (TTML New connection in charge Employee) and finally i filled and submitted the document to Mr. Mahes( Mobile No: [protected]) at my residence along with a cheque of amount Rs 900 (chq No: 328096, drawn in favour of TTML, drawn at ICICI bank, Chinchwad Pune).

                  I was committed to have my verification to be done the next day (7th) and connection on 8th. Here starts the game by TTML.
                  NO verification on 7th,8th and so on. I I called thrice to TTML customer care and thrice to Mr. Mahes and only got my application no as MHROMFWTR249308.
                  Surprisingly without verification my cheque was collected and 900 rs are debited from my account on 11th as you can see in the attached mini statement.
                  finally on 13th one person came home for verification. So verification completed after 7 days.

                  After verification my Waits starts for any communication from TTML for connection. I started calling the customer care everyday like a routine. I will be always giving application no, agents name and no and so on. Only false promises, cheat records and no response. I talked with the customer care supervisors ( MR Mayur and Mr MAHADEV) but he is also like the all. lies and lies. I also asked for refund of my money if new connection is not possible but no positive response.

                  I called 5 times and in total 8 times. Today is 21st and still no connection. Not even a single response or reply or call from TTML.

                  This is the service provided by TATA to a TATA employee. We are trying hard to perform hard and put TATA AT THE Top but these creepy fellows at the bottom level destroying the reputation like anything.

                  I dont hope any positive attitude from your side. Even i dont expect any refund also. even i am sure you will not reply this mail.
                  I am going to File a FIR at consumer court today ON 21st feb 2008 and that is a PROMISE

                  I am customer of Tata Indicom. I got a Data Card from Nanak, Shastrinagar Corner, Pune-411006. My SIM Card no is [protected]. I paid Rs801/- for unlimited download facility. This Connection started on Thursday (Dated 23/10/2008). But just after two days, Tata Indicom blocked my connection. Once I complained in customer service, they said a very specific region that your document has not submitted by you. But I had already submitted my all document proof to Tata Indicom Shop, (Shop Name is Nanak, Shastrinagar, Chauk, Pune). But they had not submitted my document to Tata Indicom office. Now Once I called to this shop(Land Line No.[protected], then he is repeating very planned answer that I submitted your document. Once I called his shop several time and said that Customer-Care says that you have not submitted my Document. And then this shop keeper said that I submitted your document on Sunday.
                  During this period, I am in Delhi. So again I confirmed the place, (Shiva Distributors, Uttamnagar, New Delhi) to re-submit my document then they said your problem will be short-out within 12 to 72 Hrs. It was Saturday (25/10/2008 at 11.00Am). Now Its already more than 72 Hrs Completed once I resubmitted my document. **
                  Shop keeper(Nanak, Shastrinagar Corner, Pune-411006, Land Line No.[protected] says that "There is no fault from my side" even though he has delayed to submit my document. ***
                  So Analysis by Customer:-
                  ** Tata Indicom office is Smart and with full confidence he is trying to prove his unrealistic activity.
                  ***Shop keeper (Nanak, Shastrinagar Corner, Pune-411006, Land Line No.[protected] is smarter than Tata Indicom and said me that whatever you can do, you are most welcome.

                  Finally I contacted to Tata Indicom Regional Manager, Mr. Tata (Mobile No. [protected]) but he has given more smart answer than others. In his word - "Shopkeeper never says truth to the Customer - They would activate you connection and after two days your connection will be disconnected for next 72 hrs.". He said that I am in roaming but once I reached Pune then I try to activate your connection.
                  Please send me your Data Card SIM No ([protected], Pune). ****

                  So ****Tata Indicom Manager is more smart than others.

                  So WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF ALL THREE KIND OF "POINT OF CONTACT”?
                  ANSWER BY CUSTOMER:-
                  NEVER BUY TATA-INDICOM DATA CARD AND THIS WAS YOUR GREAT MISTAKE THAT YOU PURCHAGED DATA CARD FROM TATA-INDICOM.

                  HOW I AM SUFFERER?
                  * I AM ABSENT FROM MY OFFICE. BECAUSE IN INITIAL TWO DAYS IT WAS WORKING AND MY MANAGER HAS SEEN THAT HE CAN LOGGED IN REMOTELY. SO MY EMPLOYEE IS MAKING HIS OWN IF-ELSE EXCEUSES.

                  * MY UNLIMITED CONNECTION STARTED ON LAST THURSDAY(23/10/2008) SO WITHOUT GETTING SERVICE, I LOOSED 30 days - 8 Days = 22 Days(Current Status) remaining and still there is no guarantee that this Internet Service is going to be started).

                  * They never bother that your are a customer of Tata-Indicom. In complete life Cycle, they only concern whether "Money has received by me from the customer or not".
                  NOTE:- Pay your money only if you get one week complete service.

                  NOW DECISION DEPENDS UPON READER THAT IF THEY INTENSANLLY READY TO PROVIDE THIS KIND OF SERVICE, WHAT TO DO WITH THIS KIND OF SERCIVE PROVIDER. IS IT A ATTUTUDE LOOKS LIKE OF SERVICE PROVIDER?

                  Dear Tata Indicom,

                  I'm sure this kind of mail is not new to you and you're ready to say "We sincerely regret the inconvenience". Nonetheless, I thought I should knock all the possible doors.

                  1) Since today morning [Feb 22nd] my boradband is sleeping. It connects but no browsing is possible.
                  2) I called up customer care and all the can say.. you know what.. "We sincerely regret the inconvenience".
                  3) They also say.. "it'll take 72 hours to get back to you.. we have a holiday here". I wish I had a way to say the same on your Salary day.
                  4) First level support only knows "Ping, sir, Ping" .. and when asked if I can talk to someone senior.. "They all are busy, sir".

                  I know I can just curse my choice of selecting Tata Indicom. But, guys, have a heart. You have a bunch of goons hired who hunts me every 4th of the month, "Sir, your bill is pending, please pay, or else.." . Why don't you get the same for offering service ? Please get rid of the you have in helpdesk and hire some guys who just don't talk in funny accent. Ones who knows beyoond "Ping, sir, ping".

                  All I can say is, I know you all work for salaries and all of you believe that you're just not paid enough, but guys, think !! Tomorrow you may receive the same treatment when you go to hospital while your dad is having a heart attack !! Will you like that "we'll get back to you in 72 hours.. we're having a holiday here and our managers are awefully busy training newly recruited lady trainees" ?

                  Anyway, I know, it's NOT GOING to make any difference to you at all :) You'll all get your salaries & your managers will get busy training new young lady recruits. I don't even have a proper escalation matrix for Tata Indicom boradband in Pune.

                  But, I'm going to dissuade as many people I can from taking tata indicom henceforth.

                    I called one std number at 3.17PM on 14 feb 2008 and talked upto one min ( as in my mobile call register), but they deduct charge for 5.20 min, which is totally wrong, becoz when i disconnect the call, i called to 12527( balance inquiry no) at 3.18 PM. when i inquire, they told, i talked to that no upto 3.22PM. which is totally wrong.Total deduction was Rs 14.94 but it should be Rs 2.40. i talked to their customer care, backed team manager,First he denied and said what our machine generate is correct, but when i explained him, we cant give money back. but when i told this is my right, after some argument, he told he will put this problem to his higher official and response back within 48 hour, but they didn't.

                    I applied for TATAIndicom post paid connection. I bought a phone and given all the necessary documents asked by the Frinchisee to get post paid connection(Applied on 28-Mar-08). They informed me that I will be getting the connection with in 5 days. The verification was over and aftre that I received a call from the Frinchisee office that I have to pay additional Rs.500/- as deposit inspite of Rs.500/-. I paied the amount and after 5 days I received a call to submit payslip. I have given that too. After that, no response from them. If I make a call to that office they are not picking up the phone else they are saying you will get the SIM by tomorrow (this is been happening on dailybasis). Now, they started harrasing me and saying that do what ever you can.

                      Hi, I am from Pimple Saudagar, Pune.. I too paid the amount in cheque. But no extra charge..

                      The stupid Customer care ppl only work with the internet query number who remembers that? they don't consider the application number.

                      When i filled the form online within 2 hours i got a call from an agent.. very fast!

                      But now he turned out to be an agent from another circle altogether and says the Society in which i stay is creating trouble.. !

                      I got a phamplet home from another agent who says there is nothing wrong with the society and he can get the connection for me!

                      All these agents are just working for their own profit..the mesely Rs150 they get for each customer.

                      Then this customer care is also operating independently!

                      Iam going to take my cheque back.

                      Tata Broadband — no connection

                      I regret to inform you that I am permanently disillusioned with Tata broadband services and all that it claims to represent.

                      It has not been even 10 days that I get no connection every alternate day. Every evening, when I leave for home, I doubt if I will have broadband connection for the day.

                      The problem is fairly simple, as I, being an engineer can gauge. It seems that despite tall claims,Tata broadband cannot even supply a reliable connection, let alone the exotic services that it claims to provide.

                      The customer helpline is nothing but a sick joke at expense of hardships faced by customer. Despite several requests to speak to a responsible officer who looks after the connection and provisioning, all I get is empty assurances and lip service from customer helpline.It seems everyone at Tata broadband is either happy to shelter the inefficient and irresponsible, or has embraced callousness.

                      How, may I ask do explain an unreliable connection that just is not there every alternate day?
                      Being thoroughly dissatisfied with this unprofessional service, I request this nonsense be put to end. Please reply me with elaborate instructions to close the connection.

                      If only I could say, it was pleasure having your services.

                        I had purchased a new tata prepaid connection from Luxmi communications, Murthal Road, Sonepat. At the time of buying , i submitted my college ID and passport photograph and my connection was activated within 30 minutes on 8.02.08. but today i.e. 13.02.08 i have been told by tata customer care that your connection will be closed today. when i have already submitted the documents then why should i submit it again.
                        I have talked to truepaid office in Sonepat (i.e. Mr. Lovelly) but he did not give me any response, So please cooperate me and do the needful,

                          I am facing the same issue.......TATA INDICOM is a cheater company and I am going ahead to sue them.....I purchased the data card with Rs.325/- plan and in my first bill for 11 days, I am charged Rs.800/-. They are charging rent as well as the usage.
                          PLEASE DO NOT GET ANY DATA CONNECTION FROM TATA INDICOM AND SOON THEY WILL HAVE TO FACE THE CONSUMER CHARGES.

                          Tata Indicom Broadband — cheating on billing

                          I am currently having a harrowing time with Tata Indicom broadband Wimax services.Someone accessed my password and started using my internet services.I complained to Tata customer care as there was very high usage.They said it was not possible but when I repeatedly urged them, hey checked the IP addresses and informed me that it was from some other IP and asked me to change password.since I have usage limit of 5k MB, they informed that whatever excess usage will be reversed at comin bill.
                          To my surprise when there was a bill of 2800 this month, they tell me that it was all a mistake and all usage is mine,
                          and imagine the nodal officer even sent me a usage detail in which he alterd the IP add.(m sure since m definite i did not use my internet at specified times).It is actually a big cover up from high up Tata people so that they do nt face loss.
                          I requested termination of connection which they promptly did.did not even ask why as is the norm.Now iv sent mail to their appeal officer and theres no acknowldgement since last two days.
                          good news is i hav bought an airtel connection nd now I plan to fight it out wid thm for long time!

                          Tata Indicom Broadband — Billing Cheats

                          Dear Sir,

                          I had taken a broadband post-paid connection from Tata Indicom this month. I had completed the formalities and given a cheque for installation and security deposit on 6th November. Then I got the installation done on 8th November. This is a Infinity 384 plan with 384kbps speed and unlimited usage at a rental of Rs 1000 per month.

                          Now, I received my first bill on 18th November where they have also charged me the rental for the next month. When I called to confirm why this has been done, they say that this is what they do with every customer. I told them that I was never made aware of this before but they are not ready to listen to me and just say that I need to make this payment.

                          I have received a call from someone called Mukhtar from the Tata Indicom Hyderabad office on Friday, 20th November, 2009. He had confirmed that he will get someone from the senior management to call me and resolve the issue. But still, nothing has been done and the bill due date is 26th November.

                          Can some please help?
                          These people are pathetic. Till date, nothing has been done and my complaint has not been progressed. I called up the nodal office to check the status of my complaint but they told me that they have not received any such complaint.So, finally, I have sent them an email for termination of my services. Hope to get the security amount back.

                          TATA Indicom — UNETHICAL BILLING

                          I was using Tata Indicom Internet DSL Connection with 256 KBPS Speed. The scheme was for 8 pm to 8 am unlimited Download and if I use the same during the day time, then 40 paise per mb download charges were there.

                          Suddenly TATA INDICOM has changed my plan without my consecent and started charging me high. They didnt informed me about the plan changes also.

                          When I came to know about the same, I had complained to them for Refund of Charges collected from em unethically keeping me in dark. Now they are giving me diplomatic answers like they had send letter to all the customers, which I have never received. They had also admitted that there are so many complaints pending regarding the same matter, but they are not willing to REFUND my Money, which they have collected from me.

                          They always agree on phone that it is their mistake, but not ready to give me in writing.

                          Nodal Officer is also not giving reply and Appellate Authority is also not giving any reply.

                          sir i using tata photon+ sevice it is in safe mode up to[protected], tata exacutive called so many time for bill payment over phone, and he came to my home he said that this is the last day for offer i[censored] pay the amount these offers can get. tata photon plus bill no is[protected] dt 27.04.10.
                          total amount due is Rs 1122(previous is Rs 1029 and current is 93.15).
                          1. he said that he can give discount is Rs 93.15 current chatrges and daily 1hr free usage.
                          2. i paid Rs 1029 by cash bill no AP/TTSL/36638/925940 DT 09/05/2010 exacutive name is Mr Moin, he assured activation with in an hour, then regular phone call after 5 days he paid Rs 800. i gave complaint at tata indicom showroom at Mahapur on 13/05/10 it is activted, they assured for the remaininng Rs 229 payment by the exacutive, till he didnot paid and no 1 hr daily free usage. for this i mentally distrbed and i spent nearly Rs 300 for phone calls and complinst by net, please look in to this matter .

I recharge with (easy recharge coupons)I rechaged on 12 Jan. 2008 he told me that you will get 2008 days validity and he told me many times this things to me, now I recharged my mobile Rs. 2008 When I make a call on tata number i found that I lost 1 Rupess into my total balance. That time i shocked that customer care executive told me something and now it happen something. After I went to the C.P N-10, I logged written complaint there they provide me SR#[protected] And after few days i went there about my querry he told me you should go TVH New Friend Colony and he told me that i have sent your complaint to the chandigarh and with 48 hour your querry will be solve SR# 07281611Dated: 28/01/2008 but after 5-10 min. I receive a call from Tata Indicom the number is 64532364 and the time is 5:08 and date is 28/01/2008. they told me that on the phone we are not providing this type of scheme. And he hang up the phone in rude behavior. Afer that i went to the C.P on 31/01/2008. and he also give me SR#[protected].he told me that you can complaint to the manager and he is only the person who will short out your problem. Would you please let me know what happen to Tata or Tata Service. We are using Tata Service I thing so this is our fault. So Please Short out my problem. I want T2T free again.                               i madhu lingwal having a two connection of tata indicom.one is landline and another one is mobile phone.from the first day i m facing the problem of networking.when i had a complaint in customer care of tata indicom the executive told me that there was some problem in there network.the customer care people told me that your problem will be resolved as soon.but they did't take any kind of action against my complaint and when i used call again and again and asked them that you people can take your own time but till that time i will not pay the rental for that only the call which i am doing i will pay for that only,so they agreed for that and don't pay the rental till the problem is solved but it happen only one month the next moth when i went to hauzkhas branch asked to pay the bill after deducting the rental and did the same but from that time that amount is not been adjusted and because of that my outgoing and incoming calls have been bared and now your customer care people regret to do the adjustments, so i just want to complaint for the defficiency of services provided by your people now i just want the waver for whole month which has and the running month also becuase from that time my calls are barred and i m not able to use the phones.

                                I am the consumer of your services vide no. [protected] and using this no. Since August 2007.

                                On 29 or 30th January 2009 an agent named Mr. Sahil called me by no. [protected] and asked to recharge my mobile by Rs.600 (Rs Six hundred only). He further told that Under this scheme activated no. Would have life time validity, local call on all nos. and STD calls Tata to Tata 50Paise per minute, other STD calls Rs 1, local Tata to Tata calls absolute free for six month and balance Rs 250. he also stated that calls rate would the same for life time.

                                On 5th Feb 2009 that person again called me and asked whether I want to recharge my mobile with Rs 600 for the scheme abovementioned.

                                I told the executive that such type of scheme is no available in the market that he said this scheme is available only for some selected no by applying the same. I believed on him and told asked him to recharge my no. He again said that my Senior will call You and will confirm the same.

                                After some time a person Named Mr. Aman called me by the no. [protected]. He told that he is confirming whether I want to recharge the same.

                                After my confirmation he said our agent will come to you and kindly fill the form and pay Rs. 600 to him. I told him my address.

                                On the same day at about 4:10 PM a person named Sanjay came to my chamber. I filed up the Application form no.[protected] and paid Rs. 600 to him. He gave customer copy to me and said with in 16 Hours scheme will be activated on your mobile no.

                                Next day on 6th February 2009 I called on the no. [protected], as the scheme was not activated on my no. Concerned person told that because of network problem it could not be activated it would surely activated on that day itself.

                                Since than I am regularly trying to contact them but they are not responding properly and evading by one pretext or the other.

                                Kindly refund the amount and If the concerned persons are not the agent of Tata Indicom than take necessary action against them because they are not only playing fraud with the general public but also affecting the goodwill of the company.

                                I face a lot of problems with the Tata Indicom Shop in my Area. Its in Avadi, Chennai, tamil nadu, India.

                                Whenever I go to pay the Bills there is no proper response from the Tata Indicom Officials in the Shop which is held opp to Shaw Wallace. Once I went and asked for service in my Land Line. My Battery was dead. So I asked them to check my Land Line Instrument. They never responded to that and said We dont have any details Call 121/ and those ******** never mind to take up the call whenever I call them. Also these guys never bothered to give me any information. They said they are ayuthorised only to collect the Bill.

                                I know they get the commission for their outlet depending on the amount collected stil they should do customer suport atleast respect the customer and hear their queries, They are involved only in bil collection and theyre not responding to any queriesm, But the Bill board and Name is highlighted as Tata Indicom Connect.

                                I dont know if every Tata Indicom branch and outlets are like this which might make us fear to buy their products, If not I request Tata Indicom guys not to mentor the outlet to the people who only collects the money but also do some service, so that people would not fear buyin your products

                                I planned to buy Photon, But its fearful coz If there is any problem I dont have any Outlet nearby who could guide us to solve the query
                                This is for your kind information that I took one C2 walky connection from Mr Jayanta Kr Paul who is servicing in your ulttadanga (BSNL)building. He totally cheated me. He took my details and filled another form and introduced me as a customer of 180 plan provider. I applied for zero rental but the person cutted my from and push me to the zero rental plan.                                   I had a Tata Indicom landline connection last year. The number was64565849. The service was so poor I personally went to their Thiruvika office and complained around 3rd week of September last year. Their customer service himself mentioned that my phone has not been working from 5th September. In spite of my personal complaint nobody came to repair the same and I again visited the same office ten days later and gave a letter to disconnect the line.

                                  Inspite of asking them to disconnect a dead phone line, they are going on sending me bills. How can they go on sending me bills for a phone that does not work????????

                                  TATA Indicom Landline — Pathetic Service

                                  Hi,

                                  I have booked a corporate connection for a Tata Land line phone on 20th May. Today is 30th June and as of now there has been no response.

                                  I have submitted all the documents pertaining to the conection requirement. I cal up the guy who came to me with th eforms and he says that his team leader knows the details. I call him and he says I will get it done tomorrow. I camm him again the next day and he doesnt pick up the phone. I call him from another number and he picks the phone and tells me that he was in a meeting. This happens every alternate day. I had a call with him five days back and he mentioned that he would get it done immediately as there was some loading to be entered on my name in the atabase and it hasnt happened and will happen in another 30 mins and by tomorrow you can have the phone. But that hasnt happened till date. It is almost 40 days now and there is no sign of any phone or any call to explain about the service being provided. The persons name who came with the forms is Nagaraj and his team leader is Venkat. They both work at th eTata Indicom Corportate Office - Khan lateef khan building Hyderabad.

                                  Absolutely pathetic service that s provided by TATA INDICOM and it is a shame on part of such a big organization.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    We had taken Tataindicom Broadband connection on 29-Jan-07. We opted for "Quick Power-720" by paying upfront Rs.6877/-. We were promised to get a speed of minimum 256KBPS and Maximum 2 MBPS but right from the day one we are getting a maximum of 156 KBPS only.

                                    I lodged a complain on 30-Jan-07 (number: 4797296) and promised to get a resolution within 24 hours but I did not get any reply till date.

                                    I contacted the sales person who had cheated us by not telling the truth behind TATAINDICOM broadband and he advised me lodge another complain. I did that on 31-Jan-07 (number:4810380) but again fruitless......not even a single response.

                                    I called up to customer care and they told me a beautiful story of cable cut.....(We are using another connection also from Airtel but they never told us the story and their line is giving a speed of 240 KBPS on 256 KBPS connection.)

                                    We are business organization and our business is completely online. We can not afford such a long slowdown.......And this is right from the first day.

                                    To put it very simple, we want what we have paid for.

                                    I request you to kindly look into the matter and either provide us a 2MBPS speed or give our money back.

Call Centre wala bhi maha gandu hai. change Tata indicom name should be change to Gandu indicom . They never response bas customer ka paise apne gand me daal leta hai.

                                      i have a tata mobile prepaid phone [protected] for last two years. As i reached at True value hub and asked about recharge vouchers. So the executive of TVH told me that if i will recharge with Rs 2008 them i will get tata to tata absolutely free in the circle and Rs 1/- for any othr phone . So i recharged with Rs 2008/- but after recharging i was shocked because they start charging 0.03 paise per second for tata to tata mobile in the circle and 0.05 paise per second for any other mobile . So they cheated me badly . As i make them the complaint No P.R.R. 07229619 Dt[protected] at TVH Sanjay palace at 6.31 p.m. But there is no response .
                                      Sir , By giving false information and guidlines from the authorised centre is a bad impression and cause a legal problems.
                                      So kindly make correction on my mobile no. or refund my money , so that i can adjust in any other recharge voucher .

                                      i 'm recharge my cell phone at 3 times in jan but till today this company is not credit this amount in my a/c.so plz check it
                                      I purchase 50 rs talk time recharge voucher but there is no no. . Mean, how i can recharge my mobile with that voucher what is procedure or what is no. i have to dial from my mobile to recharge my tata mobile no. (usually bpl provide like *123*[protected]# its recharged) what is for tata.
