I had Purchased earlier a Tata Indicom Smart PCO Connection through Linkege Telecom Pvt.Ltd., (Authorised business associate of Tata Teleservices Limited, 101, Neelkamal Complex, 205, Zone- 1, M.P.Nagar Bhopal vide cash receipt no. 759 dated 03.08.2005 for Rs. 8102 only)vide there agreement no. 623 dated 03.08.2005.
During a period of more than two years we feel so many problems regarding service as well as unavailability of recahrge vouchers.
As a result we decide to surrender this connection.
Now since a long time nobody can bother our problems. The representative from Tata Indicom comes a saw the instruments and said this is naot a part of my job. I convey the message to collect the instruments to the concerened person.The last talk was made in the month of september,2005 and the date was 11th. After that nobody cares our problem.
So, your goodself is requested to do the needful.

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    I would like to bring to your kind notice that I planned to buy a new Tata Indicom post paid and from that matter I called up tata customer care, thereafter I was contacted by some lady and second day i.e 14th November I was delivered a sim card. All the necessary documents along with a photograph and cash Rs 499/- was given to him at the time of delivery of the sim card. Thereafter on 19th November when called up the customer care I was told that my verification has come up negative and hence the number is not working. The only soluation is that I will have to go to the nearest True Valve Hub and get bthe verification done again. The same was done by me and till date the verification is negative and the number is not working. I would like to make a conplaint against the following persons.

    01. ITBL TELECOM PVT LTD

    I would like to bring to your kind notice that the above company is not at all professional and the way they have handeled my case is totally unacceptable. First of all the name they have registered is Brijesh Krishan insted of Brijesh Kr Singh, secondly the sim card they have deliverd to me is A1000002D5F7D6 (80 ABA29C) and the mobile no alloted by them was [protected]. This is a total mixup and it has been confirmed by the customer care that the sim card as well as the number is wrong. Till date this company has not bothered to rectify the mistake made on their part despite of my repeated calls to them. The person concerned is Ms Ramneek Mob No [protected].

    02. THE AGENT INCHARGE OF VARIFICATION.

    I would like to bring to your kind notice that the Frenchise / agent / sub agent who is incharge of doing the varification has never come to my residence for any sord of verification. First time there was no verification done, neither on my residence no which is[protected] BSNL) nor physically. Second time after I went to Tata True Value Hub and asked for a reverification, a telephonic verification on my land line was done and also got a call from the executive on the same number, again no one came for a physical veryfication. Would like to inform you that on the same address I have a home loan and a car loan from HDFC bank and another car loan from Kotak Mahindra over and above I have a BSNL landline number on the smae address. Now you can judge the profissional level of the Frenchise / agent / sub agent ??

    03. CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE AND THEIR SUPERVISORS

    I would also like to bring to your kind notice that the executive / supervisor who are supposed to give correct information to the valued costomers and also to solve their problems and not trained enough to handle the situations like this. Each time I called up the customer care the executive tried to end up the conversation saying that your verification is negative and advised me to call up the dealer from where I have taken the sim card. it was only after speaking to the supervisor I could get an assurance that things will be looked into. But again nothing moved. You can get more details if you go through the history of the number. I thing I have wasted more then Rs 500 to get this number activated.

    I have even got calls from the Chandigarh and nothing has moved. I am approaching you with a hope that you will be able to solve my problem and also with a hope that you will definitely look into the various vendors you are dealing with, assuming some action will be taken against them, so that some other costomers are not forced to send mail to you.

    I agree to what you have mentioned, this company is totally a 3rd class company managed by people who do not know the meaning of customer service, infact in some cases the company is willing to reveal the customer data for money.

    tata indicom postpaid mobile connection — improper billing

    i have postpaid connection(rs 224 rental monthly plan) no. [protected] since 1 year .Previously i was very satisfied by the service provided by indicom. but in feb 2008 bill i was charged rs313 extra for internet . i never had applied for internet connection and never used internet services . inspite of my repeated efforts to get it corrected i was to run from one office in naveen market then aryanagar then kakadev to other and finally i was told that i am responsible for getting it activated.
    i think customer problems never fall on right ears who can really help with proper solutions.

    I totaly agree with you what you have mentioned about the Tata Indicon Service. I have faced very similar problem in Bangalore and still waiting to get back the amount paid to them towards connection.

    I hade submitted the required documents and amount of Rs 800/- towards the new wireless connection on 4th October 2007. Tata Indicom representative communicated to me that the Phone Instrument/Connection would be made availabe by 8th October 2007 on my residence. However, I have not received any update on the same till date. When contacted them repeatedly, their standard response is "give us your contact number, we shall call you back", but no calling back from them.

    I have enquired/requsted three day back to change my payment of due date from 22 of month to 30 of every month. The repely was there was no suitable repley. And finally they told there no provision of change. I like to complaint for my changing my date or to suggest how to do

    Tata Indicom Postpaid Connection — Worst service

    I have applied for a Tata Indicom postpaid connection from your Humayun Nagar Branch.
    TIC representatives have taken the necessary documents from me on 4th of this month, promising me to provide the sim by 7th.
    I have received a hand set on 7th.
    I hadn’t received any communication regarding the sim card.

    On calling repeatedly, Mr Prasad (Manager) has responded saying that it is not possible to provide a connection as I hadn’t provided them with a document they required.

    I had a conversation with Mr Prasad previously, and he accepted to provide me with a connection without that document.
    I had been given a hand set also along with receipt.

    My question is :
    1)If they are not satisfied with the documents, why did they take 600rs deposit from me ?

    2)Why did they sell their mobile handset to me ???


    On insisting for the cancellation of connection, I got a response that amount will be reimbursed thru cheque.
    I don’t know how many years TIC will take to reimburse my amount.

    The worst part is, TIC representatives won’t attend the calls.
    They will promise you to call you back in say…5 ..10 mins, and they won’t call.
    I tried calling them up at 64529774 from my mobile, most of the time they cut the call.
    If I call from some other number, they pick it up..I am feeling insulted.

    Being a busy person, I can’t keep on calling TIC executives time and again.
    I am really fedup with Tata Indicom.
    If TIC cant provide service, I m advicing them to say that clearly, so that customers can opt for something else.

    I had applied for the post paid connection of tata they have taken the 600rs from me and said "According to our new rule they will provide me the sim after the verification " when i call back them they have said my CV was -ve hence my applicatin is canclled and why my cv was -ve TATA indicon will inform me in e- mail
    it is now almost 15 days and i have not yet recieved any mail from you, kindly do the needfull.

    I am residing in Rajkot and we have CUG plan with My Account no. are[protected] &[protected]. we have complain regarding closing of four Mob No. the complain no. are[protected] dtd. 9.5.08 and again re complain on dtd 12.9.08 number is[protected] but you officer which is there particular Mr. shaunak Mehta (Asst. Manager) and Mr. Parth Khakhar (Dealer) they are not taking it proper way so urgently take some action on you another thing that they said that on purchasing of new hand set you have to purchase new post paid connection.
    One more thing to complain to change our plan from CUG to nano CUG but they have given us new four connections to us without changing our plan.
    Sir, it is I am very sorry to write that if the problem persist for a long time than we will take out from you because the dealer & Asst. manager in Rajkot they are not behaving to us very well so take it in your consideration and solve our problem as early as possible because it has six month accur to launch the complain and result has not come.

    TATA Indicom Postpaid Connection — I-Choose Store/Web payment Fraud

    I had ordered an post paid connection through the I-Choose store (the Web portal of Tata Indicom) on the 10 of June and a payment was made through my banks payment gate way. I have not received the phone or an connection till now. When approached for the refund of the money paid, the customer care, the nodal officer and the appleate authority of the Tata Indiconm are silent. I have just rcvd a mail from the nodal officer of the Chennai circle that my telephone connection is " Disconnected" some 14 days back.

    I have the payment confirmation details and the appropriate screen shots of the order confirmation and the payment, and the entire mail thread that was used to communicate to Tataindicom.

    Please be aware of the service of Tata Indicom Teleservices. They are there to hurt you with their TATA name with appaling service and fraudulent practice.

    Tata Indicom Postpaid Connection — calls barred after 6 days of payment

    i m having the postpaid connection of tataindicom . for that i paid the un bill amount of rs 1000/- on 02-10-08. today on 08-10-08 my putgoing calls are barred due to the reason of non receiptant of payment. i have the copy of bill payment and talked to customer care of tata indicom they say still my servises will not be activate till 18 working hours.due to non worikng of my business mobile i suffered the los of rs 50000/- approx

    Postpaid Connection — Improper service of mobile connection

    I took Corporate Vodafone connection on[protected]It was company corporate plan
    My SIM was Activated on[protected] Night
    From first day when I try to make call from new SIM it start saying your 'Current Balance is reaching Your Credit Limit'
    my Balance is 437Rs. (Vodafone means to say within Night(6 hrs) I had Called for Rs437/-

    On Enquiring from Vodafone Customer Care I found that it was not corporate Plan it was just Simple plan which was sold to me by the name of Corporate plan

    Next Big Surprise was that on[protected] My new SIM stop functioning msg coming was 'Call Barred from this No' on Enquiring from Vodafone customer care they told me Your Enquiry was not done

    I was given a plan 199 by a Tata Executive and took Rs 1200/- towards handset, Rs 148-/ towards activation and Rs 500/- as deposit. They informed me that my cellphone alongwith sim will be delivered after my cheque gets cleared bt it my cheque has been cleared on 24/02/09 and i have still not recieved my cell phone.Hence i would appreciate if some sort of action is been taken against them.

    TATA Indicom — false bill

    I Kaushick Soren S/o of Mr. Devendra Nath Soren. Zone no 4, House no-79, Birsanagar, Jamshedpur-831004, Jharkhand. My Tata Indicom Postpaid No is-[protected], my bill for the month of May was been paid on mid of June before the due date in Tata Indicom true value shop, azad market, telco colony, jamshedpur-831004. In the month of July my connection has been barred and i am unable to use my tata indicom usb modem as i am in delhi. When i had phoned in the tata indicom customer care they told me that my bill for the last month is not been paid and i was unable to use my usb postpaid connection. The bill amount for the month May which was been paid is 1200 rupees and the new bill for the month of June which is given to me with a grand total of rupees 2624 (may and june). I was unable to use my modem for 15 days as they was a malfunction in updating the payment. And i have lost the receit of the payment of my bill.My parents went to the true value shop, telco and told them the bill was been paid but the true value shop person told them that the bill is outstation and is not been paid.
    Kindly help me and do the needful action. I will be thankful for your kind co-operation as i am in delhi now.

    extra charges for internet connection in mobile — billing improper

    we have a complait that without using internet we have to pay the charges in the bill . The amount which we have to pay for internet usage is 1300 rs. The total bill for the month 15-jul-2009 to 14th aug.2009 is 2555 rs. AND PHONE NO. IS [protected]. Our connection is postpaid since last 10 years. you need to look look into this complaint as quickly as possible .

    tata indicom postpaid mobile connection — SMS service

    Sir,
    I am consistently being harassed by the poor sms service of tata indicom. my no is [protected]. Whether i send or recieve messages, problems arise. Sometimes i even recive messages the next day the concerned person sent it.

    I have already filed a complaint regarding non-confirmation of address by company personnel. My phone was barred for out going calls & now the phone is dead for more than a week due to barring of incoming calls as well.No action has been taken on my complaint number 276237.
    My service agent has also filed complaint separately.

    TATA Indicom Postpaid Connection — Disconnection

    Dear Sir,

    I had a post-paid connection from Tata Indicom company. I used their services for 4-5 years. I was a good customer as I used to clear my bills on time. Then in year 2011, I requested them to convert my post paid connection to pre-paid connection by writing an application to them. I submitted this application in Sector-37 Showroom. They accepted the letter and assured us that it will be done in 72 hrs. But the request was not processed. After 20-25 days I again went to the showroom before my next bill gets generated. While inquiring them I got to know that my application is not forwarded. They again assured me that it will be done in 2 days time and said the rent will not be included. Then after few days customer care executives called us that we have not submitted the bills hence outgoing services are barred. Then again we received a call from a customer call executive and she started shouting at me. I told her that I had cleared my bills now if some amount is left then deduct that amount from the security. She kept on shouting at me. Then we filed a complaint against her and we received a call from another executive stating that the matter is resolved. But we said that we do not want to use your services anymore and meanwhile I lost my mobile. All of a sudden today I received a call from delhi from a lawyer that a case has been registered against me and I have to be present in delhi tomorrow for the hearing.

    Sir, I request you to kindly take an action against the company and reslove the issue as soon as possible.

      my experience---SUB: PAYMENT OF BILL , HARASSMENT

      As per your letter dated 06.12.07 which is attached. You have mentioned that I have signed the terms and conditions of your services dated 14/2/2007 at ‘SAI RADHA TELECOMUNICATIONS, ‘SHANTHI NIVAS’ K.M.MARG, UDUPI .

      YES YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT I MADE THE GREATEST MISTAKE OF AVAILING YOUR SERVICES. But let me inform you that I have also been a regular payer of all the bills thereafter.
      I purchased a cell phone at the same time 'Samsung Hero’ @ Rs.1500/-with charger at your outlet in Udupi. This was done in the month of February 2007 as you can see in the bill. The cell phone stopped working on July 11th that also is evident by the last bill that you have sent. I went to SAI RADHA TELECOMUNICATIONS, where I bought the connection and lodged a complaint, two employees gave the phone to a technician inside another room, who informed me that they would have to send it to Mangalore for repair. NOTE: I was not given any voucher for having given the phone for repair. For the next 4 days I had no communication though I was told that I would be informed as it was a post paid connection. I repeatedly rang them up and was told that it could not be repaired at Mangalore and hence was sent to Bangalore. After that I had no communication from them except asking to pay the bill. Now I refuse to do so for the points to be noted----

      1. I do not have the phone nor the charger.
      2. It was post paid service I had taken so therefore why should I
      pay when I dont have the cell and have not utilized it
      3. The phone was not working after six month !!
      ( ? Standard)---the reason given after 4 months (that is 10 months
      later) --water had damaged it. How? I gave the cell before heavy
      monsoon started & the cell is always in the department I work
      locked as i get signal only at Manipal and not at Hiriadka
      4. You already have my deposit of Rs.500/- & my mobile:- my gift
      to 'TATA TELESERVICES'

      If you take legal action as you have threatened, we have enough people who have witnessed by listening over phone and were there when your representative came and harassed us repeatedly not willing to say anything about the mobile that I had given. Escaping their responsibility by saying that it was damaged due to water you can go to consumer court and so on.
      Thus I hereby refuse to have anything to do with you. You can keep the Rs 500/- deposit as payment against the bill and the mobile as a gift by me to the great TATA teleservices. I am sure by now 100s of customers would have suffered like this. God save people who become your customers.

        Well Well the services are pathetic !!!! Customer Care is pathetic !!! and overall TATA is just living on its name not on the services they provide.

        Well I am following up for my connection shift from one flat in same building to anohter flat and see the response i am getting is that the locality I am living in is not feasible?? How come they provided me a fresh connection if the locality is not feasible???

        Well If anyone is reading this and dose have an openion of sueing the company for their sevice. Please lets be together and get our money back .....

        I request this website to facilitate this if possible.

        I am facing the same problem. I applied for a shift of connection from Shivaji Housing Society to Bhonsalenagar, Pune 1.5 months back. After a lot of calls and complaints, I was told that the area is not feasible since the number of connections has been exhausted in that area. When I asked for a refund (I have around Rs. 3000 balance), they told me that it is not possible since I had taken a prepaid pack. The only solution is to continue using the connection in the old area or let the money lapse. Both solutions are not feasible for me. They are not letting me transfer the balance to another user account too. When I called up customer care to get a new connection, they told me it was available in the new area. I am not sure how to handle this situation but I do not want to let them take my money without providing me any service.
        I am also stuck in a problem with Tata Indicom infact its now second time, they are really irresponsible and shameless.

        I paid my full amount of broadband and its now almost a week, till now they not install my internet connection and when i call up on phone they never pick my number and i have to call with another number to talk with resonsible authority. Sales person of tata indicom is really shameless person. So, please never use tata indicom service whether it is for internet or any other kind of product. I all already waste my 3000 rs in usb data card of tata indicom and they always mis guide me for the speed and teh actually speed of data card is just only 5 to 10 kbps. I thought broadband would be the better option but here also they doing this kind of behaviour, which is really radiculous. they only said 100% but there is not even 0.001% in there work. Tata indicom is bull man!
        The complaint posted is really true, "the customer care is really pathetic". Even in my case after repeated request they are unable to shift the connection to a near by quarters, but they are specific about the renewal of package with out taking any efforts for giving the connection .I very much agree with the complaint and we want our requests to be attended to... at the earliest

                I wish to have a prepaid connection for TATA INDICOM. Instrument is available with me.
                This complaint I raised on Mon, 20 Nov 2006 02:02:09 -0800 (PST) with the customer care and high-level officials of VSNL but nothing happened.



                Bloody [censored] SUPPORT OF Tata Indicom’s (Tata Walky) INTERNET SERVICE.

                I used the Internet of Tata Indicoms internet connection at my home for few months.
                I am not satisfied with your service. Because while browsing company websites it was flooding the errors and it affected my system and it got crashed. I informed several times to customer care support center. Before crashing my PC i called to customer care for rectifying the problem but told me that one of our engineer come to your place and rectify the problem but no once came to my house and at last my system got damaged. For repairing my PC I paid Rs. 1000 for repairing my PC. So since then I am not using the INTERNET at my home and also i called to the customer care for DISCONNECTION and taking back of their equipment.

                As of now no one came to my house and nothing done. I am still getting the Bills for not USING the internet service and instrument is lying in my house since 2 months. This is the my last complaint, if you people don’t take necessary action I will throw away your instrument and I will go to Consumer Court for raising the complaint against the company. If my problem is didn’t get solved early I will be reporting to Blogs to publish about this.

                One more unbelievable matter is while taking the connection the TATA Indicoms sales guy explained me the Tariff plans. In that I finalized the WS – Millennium Edition 1 plan. Why I selected this plan means it is a MONEY BACK scheme and I will get back my deposit while disconnection. Sales representative was told me that you will be getting the discounts of Rs. 150 calls free usage this will be deducted by the deposit by every month.
                I trusted him and paid the amount of Rs. 1989 (~ Rs.2000). I am not getting what the plan is exactly and what the tariff plan committed by the sales guy. Whom to trust…. I don’t want to continue the Service at all…

                I went to the Yelahanka Tata Indicoms center several times but they told me that you need to contact Richmond Circle tata indicoms office. Even I went to the Richmond office and I spend 2-3 days for rectifying my problem but nothing happen. The Richmond office telephone number I have is 66689707. They guy sitting in the Desk was called to the sales guy at that time and it went to some one else and he told that Gowda is no more staying in the Tata Indicom office.

                But now the big problem is Customer care people are saying that money will not be refunded because the concept is not paying the money back but you can make use of this by using the connection for one full year. How I can do that job….I need REFUND,,, if not refunded also no problem but I don’t want to receive any more Bills in Future.

                Please take back your equipment ASAP. I will not be responsible if you are do this as early as possible.



                What the people of customer care people doing the HELL work… not responding properly. Even now I don’t have any service at my home including customer care support.

                  I happened to have used many other Broad band connections earlier like sify & hathway. I do see that when it comes to Service, all of them are really bad but I believe VSNL is probably the worst and the most frustrating of them all.

                  I have been using tata indicom from the last three months for working from home whenever needed. Last week, I was supposed to be working from home for the whole week and my net connection went down all of a sudden on Tuesday. I had raised a complaint with high urgency on Tuesday after trying the long list of stereo suggestions from the executive. I had let them know that it would be affecting my official work badly and I was told that the issue would be fixed before Wednesday noon. For then, I had to rush to my office in the mid-night to continue my work. Since then, it has been a mental torture for me calling up the customer service every day, explaining the whole story and getting the same old dumb response that the problem will be fixed by the end of the day. It has been six days now and there has not been a single call from any executive nor did anyone visit my place to check/fix problem. It had been hell for me waiting up for the executive to come down everyday and then rush to a nearby cafe or the office to wrap up my work when they fail to turn up as promised. It has been very frustrating and totally irritating every time they make a fake promise and leave the issue unattended. I had literally spent around 500rs calling up these executives everyday and waiting for long for them to connect to the supervisors or make some dumb promise. More than the money and the time, it is the mental agony I had been through that the service provider is badly accountable for and needs to pay for that. I have been yelling at them everyday explaining them how badly I am being affected and I am surprised that they could still be so laid back and not bother to attend the problem even after 6 days of logging the complaint. I am really in such a helpless situation not able to get my work done nor take any action against the Service provider. I am writing to the Consumer forum today and am hoping that they would help me take some action against VSNL. Letz c..

                  TATA Indicom — Worst Service

                  I have never seen such a worst service like TATA in my life.
                  I had purchased two prepaid cards [protected]/20 in the month June 07.
                  For which i had submitted the documents at IDEAL Communication, Kalawa Naka,Kalwa(W).
                  After some days i called customer care they said me that this mobiles are registered on some other persons name and addresse,
                  Now,15-20 Days back I recieved a message from TATA to resubmit the documents, with reference to this message once again i submited the documents, but this time
                  I went to TATA Outlet (Naupada, O junction, Thane) and ask one executive to check the documents and the i handover those document to him.
                  After two days I called customer care again and check for the details at this time this two nos. were registered on my name.

                  But from yesterday night my services has been stopped, in the morning i called customer care then executive told me to resubmitt the documents.

                  NOw the questions are.

                  * If my documents will be used somewhere then who is responcible?
                  * What about the documents which i had submitted twice?
                  * Shuld i submit the documents daily to your Tata Outlet?
                  * Or Shuld i submit the documents after each hour to your Tata Outlet?

                  Tata Indicom Broadband — Worst Service ever..

                  This is reagrding my broadband connection with the user ID as- subrato.[protected]@vsnl.net.
                  I had used its services till 13th july and since i bought a new house i had requested the representative to shift my connection to my new residence on 14th july. I did series of follow ups, but after 2 weeks i got to know the new residence of mine has no feasibility!so i requested them to disconnect the connection and sent them an email and also paid my bill on 30th July.I never got my confirmation reagrding disconnection and After a month i get calls about my AUG bills and they asking me why i want to disconnect? Its total harrasment...I request if someone could help me with this!!!

                  i request guys not to take up tata indicom broadband connection!!! that's an honset request...They make fun of people and their time!!!

                  Tata Indicom Broadband — Worst Service

                  I am using the TIBB connection from past 1 year and at first i was using this Wimax service, where the executive said that i ti will support vonage and everything, so i took the connection and i didn' get the chance o[censored]sing this vopi for nearly 6 months and after that when i tried to use it, there was an one way audio problem and due to my busy schdeule it got delayed one more month and i complained about the vonmage and they checked every thing and said that it was due to the poor latency of the wimax connection and then the technician spoke to tibb customer service and they understood the problsm and the technician Ameer came to my place and he suggested to use telesima equipment which was different than the regular wimax machine and he started testing for the signal from 11 am and till 4 he did nt get the signsl, so he opted me ti migrate for wireline which was just passing in front of my apartment and he said that he will just give the connection in 2 days ans the great so called tibb is short of the wire for 20 metres and they gave the wireline after 5 days after repeated calls and a call tro the nodal officer. There started my troubles, it worked fine and iam very much satisfied with the service only for 20 days form then on wards till date for 4 months , for every month i used to get the tibb down for 5- days every month, reason was LOCAL SERVER DOWN, this used to happen every month and every day i used to call the customer service and will be shocking to know that my complaint was resolved. I must be shocked to know with out my confirmation, how can they close the complaint. this uded to happen every month and in this month, i lodged a complaint on august 31st and till now, the complaint was closed every time i used to call them , every day i used to call them 2 times and the same answer, " Sir already the complaint was resolved but the if they check the connction, the local server was down, it will be addressed ASAP" but the same, Even the call to the nodal officer Niharika was USeless.

                  my question is if there is no facility for tata to cover a certain region,then why do they take money from us and later we have to call them asking to provide the service soon. i asked for tata indicom broadband 1 month back,first agent vijay([protected]) of tata indicom,chennai said they have their server at ramapuram and it will take just one day to install the entire setup but i am waiting for the past one month. if i am calling him he is disconnecting my call or his mobile is switched off or else someone else is attending the call.

                  i paid him 5000INR with a plan of 1mbps broadband.god knows what type of business tata does.i asked them to return my money.they are telling they cant give, as if i am asking their money.

                  we ware really feel .. their service is Worse than Worest...
                  for this what we need to do is... note all the complaints and send to higher officials to Tata as wel as a CC to AIRTEL, RELIANCE ofiicials also .. then only they feel ashamed

                    We own a Tata Walky Phone for use at our Vaidyasala. As usual, we had despatched the cheque for the monthly bill well in advance before the due date. Due to some negligence on part of Tata, we have been getting calls from them that there is due amount for our account. We gave them the cheque number and also informed them that our bank has already debited the same from our account too and hence there is no lapse on our part. For no fault o[censored]s, our outgoing service was terminated for 3 days and they insisted we settled the same amount for restoring the service back and also to ensure that we do not lose our incoming service also.

                    We had to make quite a few visits to their office to reinforce our position. Finally, they admitted that it was "A MISTAKE BY COMPUTER" , as if Computers have their own sense of judgement.

                    We hope this kind of behavior from Big companies like TATA is not repeated in the future.

                    i hv applies two walky set at sector 18 noida with Mr. sharma( executive there)
                    and they hav alloted the numbers and told me that the phone set will be instaled in your home by 4 days i sd ok.
                    then what happened is the phone set been activated by 19 of april. and the person who has to install the set at my home. they call me 22 april sir i am standing out side of your home no body responding, what is that i am in to business and i have already intimated at sector 18 tata office that i can wait for them till 11:30 am, but everyday the same funda sir, i am cuming but nobody turned up.
                    he came on 25 aprili at 2 o clock i said him wait there i am just cuming then i drive through Lajpat nagar ( My office ) to noida again to bring the phone but no body was there then i started calling the number[protected], ( where i got a call) again same no body picked up i called for 25 times, then i sent sms to them that m gonn complain against you then they calld up and sd sir wait there for 15 minuts our guy will cum and install the set. then i waited for one hour or more but no body turned up then i called the same number but that ws switched off. then i went to sector 18 Office to get them notice this thing they said sir the set will be installed by 6pm ( 25 april the same day) then again i went to home by 5:45pm and started waiting for him but again no bidy turned up.
                    now i again visited secto 18 office mr. sharma has given me one number to call any any Mr. Bhisht but again he is not picking the phone ( [protected]).
                    So now pls let me know what to do, as i am fedup with this things. now i need one to one result weather they can install the set or i withdawl.

                      Tata Indicomm negated my address verification after collecting the amount, delivering the product and sending the bill from the same address.

                      The point of contact Mr Anshul Jain[protected]lied and was rude while resolving this issue. He did not give me the complete information and aksed me to take a new connection.

                      TATA Indicom — cheated by TATA Indicom

                      Hi,

                      I've bought a tata-indicom connection with the 450 corporate unlimited std T-T free calling in Bangalore. My tata no. is [protected].

                      From the first day of buying, their is a lot of noise and echo problems while making the free calls to the other std tata mobiles. The noise is so huge that it's unable to talk or listen. I've checked and voluntarily even replaced the handset at the other side, but to no avail.

                      It looks like they are cheating in providing the free service, which is my sole motive of wasting money in buying their handset and initial deposit.

                      More I've opened multiple complaints with tata to solve this issue, but no resolution till date. Every time someone called me to re-check and when I told that it's still an issue, no one comes back. When I do a inquiry again about the case, they say it has been closed, cause the problem has been fixed. I don't know how the hell they take my NO as YES and closed the case.

                      The service request I've opened till date are: [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected].

                      I am rally gonna sue them in consumer court.

                        I have tata indicom fwt basic plan . which frequently getting problem like switched off and poor signal quality. once your rep changed the instrument still condition not improved. We require broadband service for which reply i got our area not able to get the same. Hence i have gone for someother phone and got connected the broadband phone.

                        I have given already information about disconnection of my tata indiom telephone no. 65900961 and to refund the deposit amount of Rs. 1000. So far no information.

                          TataIndicom pre paid mobile — banned incoming and outgoing calls

                          As i am a existing customer of your esteemed company TATA indicom (Mobile). My numbers is [protected]. As today (14.02.2008)my mobile no outgoing and incoming calls had been banned. As already i had submitted my Identity proofs when i have purchased the UIM. I hav purchasesed this mobile connection on 03 december 2007. when I contact custemer care there is no sufficiant answer about this.

                            I BELONG TO TATA INDICOM FROM 3YEARS .TATA INDICOM PROGRESS VERY FASTLY .BUT SOME WICKNESS SEE IN TATA LIKE : CODES OF CALLER TUNES AND NOT SMALL TALTIME RECHARGE COUPON IN TATA. THE CUSTOMER FACING PROBLEM. I HOPE TATA INDICOM WII DO VERY WELL AND SOLVE WRITTEN PROBLEM. IN FUTURE TATA INDICOM WILL MAKE NO.1 COMPANY
                            All the commeents i have visited are true, i also face same problem.
                            I had purchased the phone from True Hub ,submitt all document ,they are crossed checked & phone get started, after 2 days my mobile service get disconnected due to document not submitted , Who is responsible Coustomer?

                              tata indicom, not only cheats its clients but also supports cheaters.

                              Very surprising, indeed. Tata Indicom doesn't provide a directory service by which we can track the phone-owner by the phone number...!!! This makes ita very welcome option to criminals, for harassment calls, ransom calls, threat calls & so on.

                              How can such a company be so irresponsible towards the social cause. For them providing cheap phones is the motive, a very business oriented approach. Thanx to tata Indicom for promoting crime in their very own way.
                              TATA indicom sucks... i used it for 7 months and its been 6 months since i have disconnected the connections.I have sent them a written letter for disconnecting and till date they have not. Its not my headache now. they sent me a bill for 3000Rs and I have already filed a case in the Consumer Court a month back. TATA people have been calling me for taking back the complaint.....

                              Thats good work from me. Now tata is going crazy with this. hahahahahhahahahahah.. i am loving it!!!!!!!!

                              On the 13th Jan 2009, i had registered a complaint (number: 8438932) for which i followed up three or four times and the response that i received was also not satisfactory. I followed up this morning(26 jan 09), only to discover that my complaint had been closed after 14 days without the problem being rectified.

                              I have paid for 4 months of connection and my money is stuck, nearly 5000. Tata indicom has been a waste of time and money along with the pathetic and fraudulent service.

IT IS STRANGE ,IT WORKS OTHERWISE EVERYWHERE -WHEREVER I GO INSIDE INDIA BUT NEVER WORKS ONCE I REACH HYDERABAD. SEVERAL COMPLAINTS TO SEVERAL TATAINDICOM OUTLETS AND CUSTOMER SERVICES PEOPLE HAVE NO USE. TATA INDICOMS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WORTHLESS.                                     A “Walky-Zero Rental for two years scheme” was installed on 30.10.2007 at 1400 hours. The number allotted is 64541533. It worked for half an hour, thereafter it became dysfunctional.On a request made to the customer care executive Ms Sujatha and subsequently to Tata Indicom True Value Hub of Saroornagar branch, Hyderabad , I was informed that the server was down and that the problem would be rectified within twenty four hours.
                                    On 31.10.2007, when contacted Mr Satya of True Value Hub, Saroornagar Branch, Hyderabad at 1700 hours , he has indicated that it may take another twenty four hours to restore the connection.
                                    I am a 73 years old man and thoroughly dissatisfied with the service and the callous response of the customer care executives. I therefore, request you to arrange to refund the deposit and take back the instrument.

                                    I would like to seek the better alternatives in this competitive market which gives delight and better customer service.

                                      Connection canceled on July 28 -2004

                                      Repeated Requests no reply or money till date. I have spent more on telephone call to get back the advance paid.

                                        I bought the new generation of internet connection " USB MODEM-TATA INDICOM"

                                        When i went for the detail, the shop keeper in the TRUE VALU SHOP LOCATED ALONG TAMBARAM TO VELACHERY ROAD told the subscription detail with plan, doccument required,initial payment etc.,

                                        he collected all said doc like credit card statement,pan card xerox with initial payment Rs.2950.00.

                                        He also accepted all doc with initial amount and gave me the stylish USB modem ( almost double the size of pen drive we normally use).When i leave the shop he interrupted and told, sim cord is not available with me, will give you tomorrow.

                                        I surprised ! what simcard ? Which is activate the USB MODEM.without that simcard it is like a mobile without sim.

                                        I asked without sim why do you keep USB MODEM here ? Some how he convinced me ( may be expert in )i came back with more dissappointed. Because as we see from the advertisement " our heroine kajole will help the next table in a restaurent, she just insert and show the web page" but in actual it is not, there is a CD needs to install to activate the software.

                                        So , buyers please dont go with the advertisement we seen from TV.

                                        Tomorrow i went and got the sim , he said it will be activated with in 24 hours. And it is 8 days now,i dont know what problem they have, not yet activated.

                                        Tata Indicom usb internet — connection problems

                                        I dont get connected everytime i use my usb.It always says connection failed and then i have to try 2-3 times b4 getting my connection again.Sometimes it even appears as Modem Unplugged-Install device drivers again,inspite of inserting the usb in the port.

                                        I had purchased Plug-2-surf modem based on their advertisement that surfing can be done anywhere, anytime... but the day i purchased, it does not work at all, the problem is "No network Available".

                                        Purchased the Tata Indicom USB Modem "Plug to surf" on 2nd August'08 and a prepaid sim from Shravni Telecom, Sai Chowk, Sangvi, Pune 411027.The service has not yet been activated ever since.The documents were submitted on 3rd August to dealer.
                                        When checked with the customer care I was told that the documents were not received till now and I need to check with dealer.
                                        I the dealer says that the documents have been provided to the company.After haggling for last 5 days I am really dejected with third rate service provided by the Tata Indicom and the dealer.

                                        working with very low speed of only 115 Kbps.
                                        Just yesterday I got a new postpaid connection of Tata Indicom plug 2 sur[censored]SB internet connection(Which is being advertised by glamour girl Kajol). ‘Unfortunately’, this will not serve anyone's purpose. I purchased this USB internet modem (both with connections) by going thru your official Web site and sales representative visited to our office. Where in they have assured to get 153KBps of internet speed but in reality, the service probably, is worse that any telecom company can ever give you. A bigger shock is I am getting speed of max 20~30Kbps even in wee hours like (post midnight, 1AM~2AM). This is beyond the imagination of any customer. Over and above that hardly one day after using the service, I have experienced such a worse of your service.
                                        Please.. please .. being a user of Tata Indicom Plug 2 Sur[censored]SB Internet, I request you not to go for this. This is the worse service that any telecom company can ever give. Please don't waste your money.
                                        I had been promised a speed o[censored]pto 156 kbps on the TATA plug 2 sur[censored]sb modem when I bought it. But i am not even getting a speed o[censored]pto 5 kbps.                                         I dont know about other service providers but TATA TELESERVICES LTD. can be one of poorest customer service providers. I have also gone thru lots of frustration and financial losses due to Plug-to -surf connection. It does not get connected several times due to network issues, and at other times, despite of payment, my connection is barred. I have complained several times to various people, but nothing has been done so far. I wonder if they have completed a course of - how to loose your customers? with a distinction. Poor understanding of product, inadequate training and tendency of passing the buck to some one else is one of prime reasons of poor customer service.
                                        None of the customer service executive did anything other than - being sorry! I want to take a legal action for causing financial losses as well as mental harassment, but not sure how to go about it.
