I am using TATAPHOTON for my Internet connection to my home PC under plan of 3.1mbps upto usage of 1 GB and and there after unlimited with reduced speed. My User Id is[protected] and post paid month activation starts on 15th of every month. Having been using Internet for quite some time now, I am aware of the approximate use and 1 GB is consumed on around 14 days due to FB usage. Accordingly I used to receive information of having consumed the data on 29th/30th of every month. But the speed was never 3.1 MBPS. Normal speed is about 1.2 to 1.3 kbps and further reducing to less than 1 kbps. But this month the intimation of speed reset was received on 20th while the usage was too less. I had a faith in the connection once upon a time. But I have started loosing confidence due to their call center employees who send 18-20 SMS every month at disturbing times. They do not know the Gentle English such as Dear Sir, Dear Customer etc as done by all other networks. They use the Australian English to address equals and menials as Hi, Hey, Buddy etc., thinking themselves to be above the customers. Customers should be addressed respectfully. Secondly 10 days after paying post paid bill on line I receive SMS that bill should be paid before scheduled date. If it is automated SMS the programmer should be pulled up.

    I had an unlimited data pack recharge worth Rs. 710 on my Tata Photon Plus number [protected] on 6th February, 2014, which promised post consumption of bundled data (at speeds up to 3.1 Mbps), Unlimited Usage speeds up to a 153.6Kbps for 28 days. After my initial data usage was exhausted on 24th February, my Photon Device would not connect to the internet at all even though validity remained. I tried changing the settings as per the directions of the customer care executives of Photon Plus and it did not work. Since then, I have been placing regular calls on the customer care number but it is of no avail. The executives insist that it is a problem related to settings of the device which I have already checked. They refused to lodge a complaint also on this ground which is not acceptable. I tried to lodge a complaint on their website also, which, after even repeated attempts, would somehow not register the complaint. During this entire process, I have been unable to access my internet connection for 5 days out of the 28 days for which the validity must subsist. Kindly address the issue on a priority basis. I am also attaching a copy of the e bill I received for recharge and the complaint I attempted to register on the website, which did not register even after repeated attempts.

      I have taken one Tata Photon Dongle on 11th Feb 2014 from the day one I am not able to browse.After calling customer care many times, one engineer visited my place and said no network coverage is there so we are not able to do anything and customer care said they will not provide any refund. I have not used the connection but paid Rs.1250 and did not get any support from photn team. If network is not available then why they are selling their products in this area. Case No. PTCD1275566

        most expensive service and most disgusting service that's tata photon all about every time i put up a complaint and im assured that speed issue will be resolved and it is not i have done a biggest mistake by choosing tat photo plus guys go for any other company for wireless broadband internet but not tata they are SCAM my photon number [protected] my last complaint was also not resolved

          Hi, I am a regular customer of the Tata Photon plus from the past 1 Year. My Photon plus number is [protected] with owner name as Mohit. However, I am experiencing very low pathetic speed(10 Kbps) even that Google page is not opening. I had made several calls to your call centers without any resolution. They give unsatisfactory answers regarding their upgradations (What is the reason behind upgradation taking 6 long months in small area? totally undigestable). Though I made uncountable complaints, again with no positives. Latest complaint number being BPO 07061015. I was told that their technical person will call me within 1 working day. But 1 month has passed without any resolution. Again i called to your customer care yesterday and shocked to be told that the last complaint was closed. Tell me how it was closed without any resolution. This is an insult to your clientele. I am so much now weared out with your services. Hope that atleast one amongst you can solve my problem.             Hi, I took Tata Photon connection last April 2013 by paying Rs.2542 as cash in advance for three months, so that i can get device for free. Tata Photon Number: [protected] 1. I paid it to Tata Photo center @ coimbatore, They paid Tata photon as cheque, that cheque got bounced, so my connection is disconnected for 10 days. I analysed and found the above reason. 2. After that, Network Tower issue, I was not getting the signals properly, network was very slow at most of the times. 3. I contacted customer care, they ask for 24 hrs to 48 hrs to resolve the issue, they gave steps to have hybrid connection, etc.. non is resolved for more than a week. 4. This issue was there throughout my first 90 days, i call customer care but no proper response. They told they waive 500Rs from my next month bill. 5. I told, even after that if i have network issue, i will disconnect from Tata Photon Completely. 6. In that call itself, i asked customer care to check for previous issue records, they said there is no single complaint received from me.. But i had called atleast 15 times in 75 days. 7. After i called customer care and cancelled the connection. 8. I got message that i need to pay Rs.1500+, i spoke again to customer care and coimbatore/tiruppur local tata photon offices, they told taht they will take care. 9. Again, i got messages by November, i need to pay Rs.2136. Same response from local centers. 10. After almost 4 months, i started getting message from Tata photon to my mobile that i need to pay Rs.2136, last day to avoid legal action. 11. Today, I got message, they have filed court summon. I called Tata Photon customer care, They said i am using the connection till November 2013, i need to pay complete amount and they do not have any issues tracking. 12. I send 3 mails to [protected]@tatadocomo.com / [protected]@tatatel.co.in, no response for any emails. This is really frustating for me. Please resolve this issue.

              I am terribly disappointed with the speed and connectivity in gurgaon and especially in the Delhi n Ncr. I don't get regular connectivity and my speed averages below 0.07 mbps most of the time. I have reported to the docomo cutomer care many times after that. Every time there is an assurance that an upgrade of infrastructure is going on and the problem should be resolved in a weeks time. My contact no is [protected]...

                  Sir, This is regarding the Tata docomo internet connection that I have taken on[protected].The two representatives from Tata I.e 1)Ahmed 2) pavan came to the house to demonstrate the working of internet and also to check the speed and network .They told us that the signal strength is good and we would be able to achive good internet speed . So on the basis of your representatives words we took 3 months pacakage of 6.5 mbps upto 15gb and paid Rs 5000. But after taking the connection we were surprised that we could only get speed of 0.47mbps.I contacted your toll free number and complained regarding the problem we were having with the speed . My complaint was registered with the complaint number as 3995542 dated 31.01.2014. We were informed that our problem would be solved on the same day, which was never done . Again I made another complaint on Feb .1.2014 no .39958666 to which one representative named Prabhakar came and checked the speed we were getting and told us that the maximum downloding speed we were getting is 0.47 mbps and needs an antenna to achive good speed . But after that nobody turned up from Tata due to which I made numerous calls to customer service with no results and progress . Now its been one month and the problem still persist and after making numerous complaints repeatedly I am stuck with the poor service from Tata . Due to this kind of service I will be forced to take legal action or I once again urge the authorities to take action to solve my problem as soon as possible or return my money .                     Recently I have a TATA PHOTAN MAX no.[protected].Realy it is amazingly poor, 1/7 speed of max committed speed(6.2mbps).I am getting Download- 0.89mbps and upload 0.43mbps.So hopeless, I am not able to run skype and other video chat
                    Your local executive made fraud signature on behalf of me on request form.They changed the scheam name as I wanted and provided 2nd hand instrument against payment of Rs 2000/.Pls do action against them and do someting to increase the speed in my area.

                      photon number [protected] facing frequent disconnection problem and errors and low connectivity speed everytime i call customer care they tell me to deleted Temp files and check speed which sometimes give .20 to .09 mbps and more worse sometimes they claim there fastest speed and have most expensive plans as compare to other companies but there service is worst and most expensive my biggest mistake to buy PHOTON

                      photon no-[protected].i repeatedly complain about my net speed. i used my device from last 2 yrs. till now i never received
                      speed more than 510 kbps but during purchase, team ensure me that u will get max 3.1 mbps. As a user it is my more than wrost experience to buy and use tata photon. when i called customer care they every time told me that there is server problem/server upgradtion

                        My name is joseph & am from calcutta.Phone number [protected]. I took a new tata photon connection on 19/7/2013 & my photon no. [protected] . Plan rs 650 for 3gb [tata is thief, bsnl gives unlimited internet @750 rs no speed capping] tata photon gives the worst service ever. Firstly, it has very poor network in my area & i cannot reach customer care number during the 1st month as they disconnect my calls! Secondly, online help didn't work as the agent did not understand the issue and ended our conversation at his will[pathetic experience] . Another agent who called me up was unable to resolve the issue & said i will get a callback which i didnt[tata doesnt bother]. The issue was : after my 1st month was over & i was forced to use speed boosters [due to pathetic network] i received bill. Now here is the problem, so please read & understand the problem- after my 3gb gets over, the "my account" page says that "you have consumed the data as per your current bill plan & hence your access speed has been reduced to 128 kbps. The speed shall be reset to high internet speed on next bill cycle date which is 21st next month". So, this is whats shown every time i use photon & i wait patiently till the 20th midnight using up all the data i have from speed booster packs. I knew that my speed will get restored on 21st, right![according to photon] but wait, on 21st when i happily log in, i see the speed is of a snail! No speed at all!! I was furious!! I tried reaching customer care number but no response[as usual]. So i tried their online chat & found out to my amazement that i have used up 3gb of my 2nd month as well[i went into epileptic fit as to how??] because i have screenshots of the tata photon page which says on 21st every month my speed shall get restored! Tata photon tells me that bill generation date is 21st & data regeneration date is 19th [degenerate tata staff]. If thats the case, why does their own page give me wrong info & they never bothered to inform me? And yet, tata photon does not admit their mistake! Now that you got the issue & know how frustrated i am with tata network, tata service, tata website & tata customer care, i'll move on to how i wasted 1 whole week communicating with tata staff online[ since they disconnect my calls to their helpline no.] the online agents megh & karan unable to find solution ended the chat session without my consent at their own will. And whenever i tried to register a complaint from their website, it asks me to log in & afterwards while filling up the form it automatically redirects to "my account" page! Wooaaah!!! Im shocked!! That was an outstanding experience i went through just to try to reach them. The tata staff in park street says to complain online[ wow ]. I have proof of everything- screenshots, emails, chat sessions with tata staff etc which i attached & emailed to the tata complaint address. I received several calls from tata but no one was able to resolve my issue. What i want?? I want a resolution! Today is 10th feb 2014, more than 6 months have passed but you cannot provide a resolution.. So getting very angry, i disconnected at the end of 2nd month. Since then, my email is bombarded with mails from photon, particularly bhaskar bhattacharya seeking payment. I received several threatening calls also & something about a case in delhi high court. Seriously tata, you can take me to the supreme court but you will not get a single paisa from me because of your own fault. The problem is you guys dont listen. If you would have resolved my query, i would have made the payment & continue using your services. But now enough is enough!! Now i will spread this news so that you lose customers. Seriously tata, you can take me to the supreme court but you will not get a single paisa from me because of your own fault. The problem is you guys dont listen. If you would have resolved my query, i would have made the payment & continue using your services. But now enough is enough!! Now i will spread this news so that you lose customers. My name is joseph & am from calcutta. I took a new tata photon connection on 19/7/2013 & my photon no. [protected] . Plan rs 650 for 3gb [tata is thief, bsnl gives unlimited internet @750 rs no speed capping] tata photon gives the worst service ever. Firstly, it has very poor network in my area & i cannot reach customer care number for the 1st month as they disconnect my calls! Secondly, online help didn't work as the agent did not understand the issue and ended our conversation at his will[pathetic experience] . Another agent who called me up was unable to resolve the issue & said i will get a callback which i didnt[tata doesnt bother]. The issue was : after my 1st month was over & i was forced to use speed boosters [due to pathetic network] i received bill. Now here is the problem, so please read & understand the problem- after my 3gb gets over, the "my account" page says that "you have consumed the data as per your current bill plan & hence your access speed has been reduced to 128 kbps. The speed shall be reset to high internet speed on next bill cycle date which is 21st next month". So, this is whats shown every time i use photon & i wait patiently till the 20th midnight using up all the data i have from speed booster packs. I knew that my speed will get restored on 21st, right![according to photon] but wait, on 21st when i happily log in, i see the speed is of a snail! No speed at all!! I was furious!! I tried reaching customer care number but no response[as usual]. So i tried their online chat & found out to my amazement that i have used up 3gb of my 2nd month as well[i went into epileptic fit as to how??] because i have screenshots of the tata photon page which says on 21st every month my speed shall get restored! Tata photon tells me that bill generation date is 21st & data regeneration date is 19th [degenerate tata staff]. If thats the case, why does their own page give me wrong info & they never bothered to inform me? And yet, tata photon does not admit their mistake! Now that you got the issue & know how frustrated i am with tata network, tata service, tata website & tata customer care, i'll move on to how i spent 1 whole week communicating with tata staff online[ since they disconnect my calls to their helpline no.] the online agents megh & karan unable to find solution ended the chat session without my consent at their own will. And whenever i tried to register a complaint from their website, it asks me to log in & afterwards while filling up the form it automatically redirects to "my account" page! Wooaaah!!! Im shocked!! That was an outstanding experience i went through just to try to reach them. The tata staff in park street says to complain online[ wow ]. I have proof of everything- screenshots, emails, chat sessions with tata staff etc which i attached & emailed to the tata complaint address. I received several calls from tata but no one was able to resolve my issue. What i want?? I want a resolution! Today is 10th feb 2014, more than 6 months have passed but you cannot provide a resolution.. So getting very angry, i disconnected at the end of 2nd month. Since then, my email is bombarded with mails from photon, particularly bhaskar bhattacharya seeking payment. I received several threatening calls also & something about a case in delhi high court. Seriously tata, you can take me to the supreme court but you will not get a single paisa from me because of your own fault. The problem is you guys dont listen. If you would have resolved my query, i would have made the payment & continue using your services. But now enough is enough!! Now i will spread this news so that you lose customers.                         Yes tata photon plus people are totally fraud. I have already spreading the message to prevent people from using tata photon plus . Last time i went to my near by store I stopped 2 people from getting a new photon max connection by telling all the harassment done by them to me. So even they have started to spread this.

                              We had given request for disconnection of Tata photon max in Mumbai on Jan 13/01/2014 SERVICE REQUEST[protected] FOR YOUR PHOTON NUMBER [protected] I received the call from executive asking for reason for disconnection.
                              They said will get disconnect in next 6-7 days but now again i have received the latest month bill of Rs:724 due date: 22/02/2014
                              I am really very shocked with the services of Tata Photon max. If my line is not disconnected in next 6-7 days i shall personally lodge a complaint as consumer forum India.

                              It is humble request to people of Mumbai if you give letter or request for disconnection please keep a follow up just don't leave thing they will not do your job.

                                  I had request for cancellation of my Post paid TATA Photon (photon no. [protected]) connection on 10th December 2013 after clearing the final bills for the month December 2013. But instead of canceling my connection, after long harassing conversation the Tata Photon customer care forced me for SAFE CUSTODY promising that I wont be charged for any services, this is the message I got from Infinitez.Solutions.[protected]@tatatel.co.in

                                  Warm greeting from Tata Docomo! Greetings for the day!

                                  This is with reference to your Tata Docomo Mobile number [protected] a/c #[protected], for which you had asked for cancellation is now retained. As per the Tele conversation we had with you, we are offering SAFE CUSTODY for the period of Three months, where you will be not charged any rentals for next Three months. The benefit of keeping the connection under safe custody is that at any point of time within the safe custody period, you can get it reactivated without any documentation hassle by calling customer care[protected] or [protected]). Please confirm if we can proceed with the safe custody by a return mail to KA.[protected]@tatadocomo.com.".
                                  In spite of mentioning that I wont be charges for safe custody, I have been sent a bill for January 2014. Please help me with this matter, even after cancelling the service, I have been very harassed. And also during the time of purchase, a security deposit amount was included, which was supposed to be returned after cancellation, I have not been informed anything about the process.                                     I am terribly disappointed with the speed and connectivity in Pune and especially in the Viman Nagar area. I don't get regular connectivity and my speed averages below 100 kbps most of the time. I have reported to the local Docomo franchise in Viman Nagar, Pune on[protected] the very next day my connection was activated and several times after that. Every time there is an assurance that an upgrade of infrastructure is going on and the problem should be resolved in a weeks time. I have also complained to the Tata Docomo Customer Care with reference numbers[protected] and[protected]. Local Docomo people have contacted once and explained that its a problem with the entire city and it will be resolved in 8-10 days. I regret taking this service when other options like Airtel fixed line with around 2 Mbps actual speed, Mblaze, You Broadband etc with better speed options were available.                                     When will my complain for slow speed of around 0.1 Mbps be addressed? Whats the status of complaint nos[protected],[protected]. Do I need to go to the International Court of Justice or the Supreme Court of India for my complains at TataDocomo?

                                    Firstly, it is a fraud to sell your service with tall claims about high speed when you don't even have the basic infrastructure required to deliver a speed of the Jurassic age - meaning a dial-up connection.

                                    Secondly, it is really surprising to hope that once a customer is trapped (by purchasing a stupid piece of hardware, the dongle) it is imperative that he will stick with the ISP.

                                    Hope its not a hollow promise again!!!

                                    I have been regularly complaining at you customer care and today an engineer visited me to check the photon wi fi device and I was told that there is no service of Tata photon wi fi in Varanasi.
                                    I feel like I am cheated from such a reputed company - when you do not have serice of tata photon wi fi in varanasi then why are you selling it in Varanasi and doing false promise to customers?????
                                    I was using BSNL broadband earlier and I got it disconnected only because I invested another Rs. 2400 to purchase Tata photon wi fi so that i can use 2 laptops and my mobile phone through tata photon wi fi
                                    So as a customer I demand an explaination why i was fooled to buy tata photon wi fi when you do not have service in Varanasi.

                                    I bought my photon max wifi two days back. It was activated only today morning, with an overnight delay. To worsen the situation, the internet speed is only 0.27 mbps, whereas a maximum of 6.2 mbps was promised. With the reason of location, timings and what not, I expect a speed of at least 2 or 3 mbps? 0.27 mbps when I'm paying 1.2k, it is totally unnacceptable. Please see to that this is taken care of.                                     Here is the same problem I am facing, When I took the TATA Photon max wifi postpaid connection, that time I was promised that it is fast and very good in quality, But unfortunately this speed is horrible since last more than months, several times complained, no results so far. All working under the TATA photon are speaking nonsense, without having any knowledge to resolve, Only they drag the things, making the things more frustrating, speed limit not crossing even 0.07MBPS. Still it is not improved.I believe they should be sue for false promising during marketing.I should change the TATA number, earlier I had Tata Photon plus, that too was very slow, after complaining as per their suggestions I took this wi-fi connection 2 months back around, but this also found bogus.                                     Photon Plus was great once upon a time, but Photon max is terrible. As I have to travel across the country for work, I know their connectivity situation --- it doesn't work in many locations in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. It doesn't work at all anywhere in Northeast India. Generally, if you are in a non-metro, the speed is terribly slow.

                                    I was pleasantly surprised to find Vodafone 3G give me 2-3 mbps speeds in entire of Northeast and various other small towns. I think I am going to switch to that this month. I also keep an airtel prepaid and a reliance prepaid, just in case --- tata photon is the worst of the lot.

                                    Don't buy it. Waste of money, effort and time.
                                    i too am facing the same problem. my photon number is [protected]. i brought my connection 45 days back. i am continuously facing same problem called the customer care twice last month, they replied i am in high utilization zone and there is maintenance work on so it will improve with time . faced the problem continuously for the past month . called the customer carea gain today and now he says ill face this problem throughout as ballygunj in kolkata is a high utilization area. now that is not my problem. thrice i have called and no complain registered. this is just cheating. its high time the company does something about it.
                                    I have a TATA PHOTON max wifi data card and was promised speeds of 6 Mbps but there has been no instance where the speed has gone beyond 512 Kbps.

                                    Same issue here in Ahmedabad. On top of this the technical person Jignesh who visited my place is so rude and confidently says that this will not be resolved do whatever you want to do.. Wow!! Besides this they test the speed by connecting it to their own laptop instead of checking it by plugging it into adapter because they know this is not going to work..

                                    A bad Output result form TATA DOCOMO WIFI tried everything to boost up the speed.when i bought its promise to give the High Speed but its not upto the mark its a cheat.

                                    As given name TATA PHOTON WIFI pleae remove WIFI and add 2g internet service.

                                    Please resolve or get the refund me.

                                    I have been facing huge speed drop in internet using tata photon max wifi ([protected]) for the past 2-3 weeks in Ultdanga, kolkata. Whenever i call at [protected] they say that your area is highly utilized and that they are working on it. I am getting around 20 kbps of download speed as opposed to 6mbps promised during purchase. i have called around 3-4 times. They have never ever registered a complaint against this issue and always say the same thing that work is going on.

                                    i have been using this connection for a long time and have never faced such a issue. Customer service has gone to worst.
                                    They could not provide any approx time to solve this issue which is very strange. How can a company like TATA have such kind of service. They are cheating customers by not providing actual speed but charging customers every month without providing service.
                                    Tata photon max wifi speed in Delhi NCR is too slow, they promise 3G speed of around 6 Mbps while I am getting around 40kbps speed since 1-2 months, after several calls, the call centre executives admitted that DELHI NCR region is experiencing speed issues however they are not ready to charge me for 2G rates and instead asking to wait for few weeks more. TATA should stop fooling consumers and stop advertising 3G speeds while they are not even able to provide decent 2G speed. Real shame.

                                    I would like to complaint regarding the tata photon max wifi, I am writing this post with great anger as I couldn't even reach this page with normal speed, This service is as terrible as it gets, And its a total scam.I would not recommend anyone to fall for this trap else you will have to pay 1000's of rupees and it wont even be worth for!.

                                    I live in bhopal, M.P. my internet speed is very slow since last 4 months. I checked my internet speed online at speedtest.net. it shows 10kbps as my average downloading speed and 5 kbps as uploading speed! I am very much disappointed with the service. I called the costumer care a hundred times but they say me to wait for some days. I want to block my account now. It's very difficult to do any official work at home.

                                    Since i am an active online gamer at League Of Legends i need pings less than 200 always or atleast till my data is there but this moth unbelievable ping spikes are happening (i dont know what is wrong with you guys) my downloading speed also below40KBPS which is very very bad...

                                    I dont know what happened this month to ur services as previous month's it was running pretty good i was able to stream 480p and 720p videos at youtube and constant download speeds above 100kbps now it hardly gives 50kbps and i am not able to watch 240p vids

                                    I'm a New customer but the speed is terribly slow I was using MTS mblaze ultra Wi-Fi before that and the service they gave was soo amazing but unfortunately the dongle stopped working I called the customer care they said you have to go to Lajpat nagar so I thought let's try a New broadband I heard that photon max Wi-Fi provides up to 14.5Mbps but sadly when I took the speed test it showed me that the speed is 5kbps even Google takes half an hour to open please fix the issue.

                                      Hi, I have been a long standing customer of TATA Photon and have sufferred regular harassment and mental torture from the company during the period I have subscribed to the services. I requested disconnection of my TATA Photon No [protected]and A/C No[protected] in November. In December I was sent a alert saying that my unbilled amount was Rs.5935. I immediately got in touch with the Customer Service and after a few calls and few escalations this amount was reduced to 726.31. I paid this amount and then confirmed with Customer Service that all my dues are clear and my account is closed. Now in January I have got a fresh bill for Rs.2336 despite not using any internet in the last month as per account closure and device disablement. I called customer service and was rudely told that my last date was 26th December and that I had used internet during this cycle. This is tantamount to robbery and high handedness by the TATA Company. Let me assure you at this rate and this disgusting level of Customer Service your company will close down soon. Please heed the customer and resolve my issue at the earliest. Failing which I will take with up in the Consumer Court as this is exploitation of customer. Best Regards, Sanjay Sen

                                        I recently purchased a TATA Photon Max WIFI ([protected]) for Rs. 5000. The product is a sub-standard one. The delivery on speed and WIFI Coverage is much lower than what is promised by the company. Even complaining does not help. Speed - 6.2 MBPS promised 0.40 MBPS delivered Wifi Coverage - 100 metres promised Less than 10 metres delivered I raised complaints over phone and through this forum also. The service personnel comes checks and leaves without resolving the issue. All they do is to check the speed and leave without doing anything. Cheaters. Don't buy any TATA product else get ready to be cheated.
