Tata Photon — regarding the connection

regarding the termination of tata photon because speed was bad ,and even though for termation i have to pay 2000 rs this thing made me so irretated.

    Respected Sir,
    I have one 2 Tata photon plus device and I am using it since last 8 months and since 4-5 months when I connect it, from its application it seems that the device is connected to the internet and the network also been full. But when I browse no website opens(does not responds). I have lodge 6 compolains against this problem via Coustomer care no. bt every time a message comes to my phone and a mail that your complain is resolved, but again it is the same. Then thrice they had also made some changes of setting in my PC but still the problem occurs. Once I visited there Service Centre then PROGRAMMING was done in my device then again the same occurs, then again I was sent to a different service centre, there I was told that you should by a another device wworth Rupees 800/- . But I think that changing the device can not solve my problem because if there is a problem in Device then, it can not be seen as connected. and I have checked my device in 3 other PC's and different areas. With me 3 other friends in my group also have the same problem.

      Dear Consumer Court,
      I want to let you know how horrible Tata Docomo has become, I had purchased an tata photon connection (customer id:[protected] way back in 2010 and asked them to disconnect in the same year due to poor performance and other issues, all bills were paid. But now in March 2013 I am receiving a call from a lady in consumer court(she was lying, i'm sure) asking me to get in touch with an advocate Mr Mahajan - [protected] who tells me I have to pay Rs 2500 in 2 hrs or he will file a case against me in the Delhi High Court . I am not sure how they can do this. If there is a balance to be paid from my end, they should have contacted me earlier, not out of the blue after 3 years like this.

      These scare tactics are pathetic and disgusting, I have paid all bills and yet I have to live in fear of these organisations. Please someone look into this, I am sure I will not sleep tonite because of Tata Docomo. I hate them and will never even associate myself with anything related to TATA in my life.

      They are using the name of the consumer court falsely and this should be taken seriously.

        My overall experience with Tata docomo photon services has been pathetic! I migrated my photon plus (Account number[protected] from postpaid to prepaid on 11th Feb 2012, at the time of migration i was not informed of the next bill generation. A bill of Rs 320 was generated on 15th Feb 2012 for which i did NOT get any payment prompt/sms/email intimation. After one year (on 26th March 2013) I received an advocate notice to file a legal case against me if i do not make the payment within a week. This is disheartening, is this is how the business and the customers are managed at tata docomo? It would have been nice if i was sent an email informing me the outstanding amount instead of sending me the advocate notice. This only shows how customer centric tata docomo is as a service provider and how well the business/customers are managed. With all my experience, Tata Docomo services are not worth the money I have spent so far. I switched to Idea 3G services few months back and the overall customer experience has been wonderful. Tata Docomo has much to learn from other service providers.

        Tata Photon Plus — Worst service provider and careless about complaints

        Hi,
        I have a tata photon+ device([protected], accnt no[protected] My billing date is 2nd of every month and the hard copy should be delivered latest by 15th of every month. Today is 23 July but I haven't got the bill of not only the current month but also of the previous month, I have just got the SMS so I have paid the bill of last month, I am continuously complaining about the delay of bill but still I haven't got any solutions, I have also complained about the speed issue but... as usual ... no resolution...

        Now I want to discontinue with TATA photon. So please refund my last months billed amount because I haven't got the bill so why should I have to pay? and disconnect my number.

          This is Geetha. I had a tata photon connection which i got almost 2 years back.My usage per month was around 1100 and credit limit was 2500. Later for a month i have received bill for around 5000. I have requested for itemized bill. After so many followups i got the itemized bill, but data in that was not as per my usage. I raised the dispute. But case is closed without my confirmation.
          I dint pay the bill as my concern was not addressed and the amount mentioned in the bill also wrong. So i left it.

          After 2 years, Today i have got call from someone saying he is from Delhi high court and if am not paying the bill amount by 2.00 pm today, i have to pay the penalty of 25000 and i will be arrested. He was threatening me to make the payment. I' am mentally tortured by the call.

          Please see the below last mail that i have sent to tata customer care where i have explained the problem for which no proper response. Even i have been to tata outlets but again no proper response.

          Please help me out in this.

          Hi,

          I have been offered Rs 1000 rupees discount by customer care.I really don't know why i should pay single penny extra for which iam not supposed to.

          Attaching the itemized bill sent to me by customer care. Its very clear that bill has lots of discrepancies.

          1) TEL_NO is wrong.
          2) Duration and units are same for which amount has been filled.
          3) In some cases where units and duration are more, amount is 0 and for some cases where units are very less, amount is high.


          When i took connection my credit limit was 2500. Who asked you to change my credit limit or why i dint get any intimation when the amount crosses certain limit

          MY USAGE IS SAME FOR LAST 10 MONTHS. HOW BILL CAN BE 500% more for this month.


          Finally, As mine is corporate connection, I will take this into a serious action. I would like to get proper update on this.

          Data Card — Bill not updated properly after paying

          I am using data card last 3 months. I have paid my bills of each month before daue dates at Reliance Communication, Usha Communication, Sector 6, Airoli, Navi Mumbai. But every months I faced problem due late updating bills by the above mentioned service provider to Reliance Center. Now I got bill with due ammount and extra changes. Every time above mentioned service provide promising me to update the bill but still not happene. I have reciept of the same.

          AirTel — controversy on bill payment

          I paid my mobile bill through SBH debit card but they scratch twice my Account debited amnout of 736/- I asked air tel customer care they said to concern the bank manager bank manager suggested to come again with one letter from airtel but they didn't respond properly after some discussions they gave the letter due to this process i lost lot of my valuable time(Two days) money and I got lot of disturbance pls take an action on airtel

          Tata Photon — Data Usage not updated in Photon +

          I used Ichoose online service for e-recharge of rs 200 for internet data usage to my No [protected] and got surprise that credit has happen to my photon. Detail transection of amount deducted from ICICI net banking is available. No response . God know how to handle this.

          phone bill — Threatening for making the payment

          My name is Gourav Magotra, I owned a number of Airtel (+91-[protected]) located in Jammu. Currently I am very much frustrated with Airtel services in terms of billing, as I always pay my bills through cash ontime from last 4+ years (before this controversy). Due to some wrong billing between this duration i had informed the customer care about this several time and the amount get waived off. They assured the same will not repeated again, however the practice was not get stopped of wrong billing. Hence ultimately I stopped making the payment of Airtel bill, which I had informed the customer care to do the rectification first then I will only able to pay the rest amount which is actually genuine to be paid.......I had received so many calls from Airtel departments for bill payments and I always requesting them to first rectified the amount which is wrongly added into it......they agreed so many times to get it rectified but they are not doing so....They are always telling me to make the payment first of 3000 amount first in which i replied to make only 2500, which they are not accepting. After then they stop my account from last six month and they still sending me the bill including late payment charges every month.....

          Now they are making so many calls to my parents and friends to make the payment from their own part.....this case is now become a mental harassment for my parents and friends and also this will tends to loose my status also.

          After making so many calls for payment now they are threatening us to make the payment and using so many abusive language (people like Gaurav Dutt airtel Jammu and Simran from taratel collection agency trikutanagar jammu etc....) for making the full payment (which includes the wrong billing charges for the controversy happens and late fee charges along with the Sevice taxes increasing due to late fee)

          I request you to register this complaint and take a corrective action to get this case resolved. As this is now a mental harassment for all o[censored]s.

          Hi Geeta,

          Usually I have seen the turture of such service providers.

          My suggestion is first nobody can threaten you for this, be bold and face.
          1. Ask that person when he calls next time if he has the appropriate authotity to call.
          2. If your credit limit is 2500 then how come your bill be more than 2500 INR. No case it is possible. If the service provider showing a bill more than 2500 then its their fault.
          3. Why they did not called you when you were approching to your max limit agreed by you..

          Ask these questions then let me know then I will suggest you. Han remember one thing whenever you get any type of call tell them to drop a note in ur mail id. Keep everything documented.

          Hi Geetha,

          Service providers generally make a call to the cutomer informing the users when the usage hits the credit limit. This event is really unfortunate, i second Mukti's voice, keep every communication documented. The servie provider also needs to show the proof for having contacted the customer for usage crossing the credit limit, which has not happened in your case.

          and one more thing if they raised the credit limit did thay asked the account holder for that, did she agreed to that. If the service provider can show the dobument. I bet not possible for them.
          I have seen the same instance with one of my friend.

          For Geeta: Never call them..The number provided by then is the customer care number but a specific person's number. How do you know whom do you call. Its a lenthy process better give them ur mail is and tell them to contact u in mail and share the persons number who has proper authority.

          This is empowerment. Struggle and keep updated

          Thanks Mukthi and Pulkit. I have documented all the proofs. I would keep you updated.
          I was a user of Tata Photon Plus, and one of the Tata photon agents came to my office and collected Rs. 9300 or so for an annual payment for the post paid plan. I paid the money in 2012 may. I did not get any service outside my circle (when I travel outside UP), and the complaints raised by me has not been addressed by them.

          The employee, Mr. Ram Singh of Tata Photon Kanpur was asked to close my connection in March 2013. He did not do anything, and now they are calling from Delhi Court - for additional pay of Rs. 2300, otherwise you will be thrown to jail.

          I am perplexed by these losers. I am changing to BSNL. Whatever it is, we will have peace of mind.

            Hi,
            I was using Tata photon plus number ([protected]) from 2009 to 2012 in Chandigarh on my grandfathers name, as I was a student there. Then I needed to shift to Noida for a job and I took photo plus dongle with me. After coming here I was not getting any speed at all. I called the customer care to resolve my problem several times but there was no improvement. I cleared all my bills and then I stopped using it. I went to their service center with written application and proof of my grandfather to disconnect the connection.

            My part was over as I submitted the application but they have not taken any action.
            Now after 8 months they have sent summon at my grandfather's name.

            Now I need to clarification why they have not come to my permanent address to collect the bill or why they have not warned me on email about the summon.

            We are too scared as we have never been to court and as I am in Noida I have to take leaves to attend the court. My grandfather alone cannot do it as he is of 87 years age.
            So, please kindly suggest me a solution here.

              I have Tata photon device with account number[protected]. I was using this device till April 2012 .later I had to move to ma native where I was not getting net work...i had called up customer care n informed to cancel the connection....they hv not done it. After 3 months once I was back my photon bill was 1500. As I had informed dat I was not using the device n em sure tht u can check dat in d system. Still I made a payment of rs 1200 and person had promised me dat he will waive off d remaining 300 rs. He has not done dat. Later it was not active for d reason payment not done Now again i can see ma bill is 1300. Including previous 300 rs.I am really not sure wat n how s ua calculation. It is really unfair , if I have to use the device again I hv to pay complete bill which i hv not used . Please look in to the matter. Service s not at all good just the promises they give. I can not waste cost of device .they charge unnecessarily. I want want my bill according to ma usage.

                I have transferred my services of Tata Photon Plus device no. [protected] from postpaid to prepaid. I have paid all the bills for my postpaid device. I have been using the same device as a prepaid device but still the bill for postpaid is being generated and Tata Photon plus customer care executives keep calling me and asking for the bill. Then I start having calls informing me that a case has been filed against me in Delhi Justice Court and if I do not pay the bill, I will penalised. I have all the receipts of my payments.
                I would sue Tata Teleservices Ltd., if I get further calls.

                  My name is Ashwani Patel. I used to be Tata Photon plus customer for the almost 3 years. Due to the bad services, I had to break relationship with Tata Teleservices Ltd and disconnected the connection. I had the full and final payment of Rs 4000 against the dues of 7425. I received the Full & Final Settlement Letter (NOC) with payment receipt. The weirdest thing is that Tata teleservices Ltd has sent me a legal notice to pay 3425. This screws me. When I have made the settlements and received the full and final settlement letter then why the hell are you guys giving me tensions and running me through legal authorities for no reasons. Please see the attached FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT LETTER Copy and Receipt
                  .I have sent the scanned copy multiple times but email to your customer support is bouncing again and again. It is just pathetic.

                  I called their customer services Toll free number hundred times but nobody is supported. I want you people check your record and resolve it. My life is pissed off as there is no peace because of your illegal allegations. I will take legal actions for harassing me. The only thing corporates harass people this way because of weak law system. Had you been dealing in well developed nations where consumer laws and individual regulations are obey, you would have been perished. Please listen to your customer who had been with you since you started your Photon Plus services in India. I will surely walk to court if this is not sorted out. Below are the details.

                    ON 08.08.2012, I got a call from a Tata docomo dealer m/s KRISHA IMPEX ,21J PRINCE BAKTIAR SHAH ROAD, KOLKATA-700033, the person offered me a internet connection for Rs.500 per month, with a constant Speed of 3.1 mbps and unlimited download. He said the speed wont drop and I will get a constant speed of 3.1 mbps throughout the month.When I asked him 5 times will the speed be upto or constant , he said constant speed of 3.1 mbps.
                    So on 10/08/2012 the representative of there company came to deliver the Dongle, he said you will get your money refunded if the speed drops. I paid him Rs.1300 for the same :

                    It got activated on 17/08/2012, and I was getting a speed of 0.10 mbps or 0.20 mbps. Since then i have been trying to contact Krisha Impex and tata photon dealer. I am not getting through any of there number, and tata photon call center have said they are helpless in it.
                    Where do i stand now i don't understand. And who will help me with my money and harassment.

                    There is no need to complaint here and there. This way you wont get your money back, not from Tata DOCOMO, i'm sure. This Krisha Impex is a big Tata Photon cheater and i bet Docomo knows them very well because some way or other, it is giving them business. The ONLY SOLUTION is that take some people with you, go to 21J Prince Bakhtiyar Shah Road (its in the alley opposite Nabina Cinema Hall in Prince Anwar Shah Road). You will find that Krisha Impex doesnt have a proper office. They have just rented a small room in the ground floor of a building to run this fraudulent business and you will be surprised that this business is run by a lady named Marie. If you and your people tell them very strictly to refund your money for the device, otherwise they will face serious consequences, they will give it back, because they are actually some coward people, being safeguarded by this corrupt system and some busy people who do not have time to go and check their whereabouts as well as cross check whether any of such plan exists. I GOT MY MONEY BACK IN A WEEK IN THE SAME WAY.

                      and we got information from your dealer that you have stopped your services in Nedumkandam. I don,t know how can you do that such a good company ? travelers from all over india is going daily through this area while travelling across munnar to Thekkady willl not get your services .please find a solution as soon as possible, otherwise find an alternative or your customers will loose their money spent for buying your modem . it will affect the reputation of your company .

                        i am IT employee, i work for one of the Top IT companies in the month of december 2012, A sales person from Tatal Teleservices, came to our campus, and told if i pay 1550 rupees, i will be getting a Tata Photon Plus dongal for free and for initial three months i will be getting 10GB of data with 3.1mbps and after that upto 156kbps, and he also tol that my plan is double dhamaka plan, and it is an unlimited plan,beliving him i took the connection by paying 1550 rupees to his manager whos name is Peter,i have even ask him to confirm wnatever his sales boy told me and he said yes sir, he is right, but with in few days of buying the photon plus i have noticed that speed is very slow and hence i have called Tata teleservice's customer care, then those guys told my plan igs5GB plan, and not double dhamaka plan,, then i have told whatever happened to me by their sales guys, but no use, hence i have requested them to give me whatever was promised to me by thier sales guys, but no use instead of caring my concern some one called seema desai,mis behaved with me and told i am not permitted to disconnect the connection, eother i have to continue using the 5GB plan, instead double dhamaka plan, or else i have to pay 1550 to disconnect my connection with in six months of time, then i have called that sales manager (peter) who sold me the device, then he promised me that either he will get me double dhamaka plan or else he will get the disconnection.but he never did that , he again cheated me and played with me for around 20 plus days by saying he will do it, , now he is not even lifting my call,. on addition i have recieved a bill in the month of jan stating that i need to pay 800 rupees every month and it may increase further, i have the hard copy of that bill, as soon as i got the bill i have asked the tata guys, but no use they again cheated me that please dont disconnect the connection, we will give you a one month waiver for the march month bill, and again with in few days i got a call from tata teleservies that i need to pay the march month bill, then i told about the previous promised made by one of thier customer guys called Madhu, but that guy who called me to inform about the bill denied this, on the whole i got a loss of 15GB data from december till march, and plan is also not the one which i was been promised by Peter(Tata phtoton plus sales manager).

                        now am very much depressed, mentally tortured by all these tata Tele serivces guy like(from Sales person Niranjan, andhis manager Peter, and also their customer care guys. without solving my problem, these guys are simply sending me messages stating that my issue has been resolved and in reality it has been not solved,

                        Can some one please help me out in this, can someone please look on my issue, is there any one who can help me and several other persons who may be cheated by this kind of sales, and also including customer care guys.

                        i want justice, please sir if anyone cares for customers like me please kindly help me., lost faith in both Tata teleservies and its sales guy Peter

                          subject- problem in oprating photon plus

                          i am very upset with your services and your speed in solving problem. TATA who is really famous for its service is failed in this field i must say. My family now decided not to buy any product or service which belongs to TATA.

                          Few days back my DONGLE was not working so i talked with customer care and they told me this complain will be solve in 24 hours. but even after 24 hours not even single call i received so i called again. lady told me that i have a due payment of 260 dats the reason why service has been stopped by system. i told her dat i was in 4000rs scheme which allow me to use internet without paying any bill upto six months. she said ok i will ask my boss and i will call you again. she didnt call than. this whole process took my 2 weeks.
                          after some efforts problem was resolved but i wasted almost my 3 weeks and during that time i could not able to use my DONGLE for your silly mistake.

                          this is a height of disrespecting customer. now its my request to extend my 6 month limits of internet plan to 7 month as you wasted my 3 weeks.

                              I am Brajesh Kumar, I had activated one year plan on TATA Photon Whiz for Rs. 1800 which was active since July 2012. But recently two week before, someone accidentally might have recharge on my number with one month usage plan, due to with my previous one year plan is de-active now. I have already talked with TATA Photon Customer Care on their helpline number regarding the same issue, but they replied that nothing can be done. Kindly re-active my one year plan back, as I have not recharged it with one month plan. I still have five month left for expiry of one year plan.

                              TATA Photon Whiz — Over charging/misleading

                              I had recharged my Photon Whiz with Rs.777 unlimited package on 31.07.10. Before the validity of 30 days expired, on 30.08.10, I recharged with Rs.300. Still my connection was barred from 31.08.10.(P.S. My validity period of 30 days in lieu of my previous rechage had not expired) When I called the customer care, a lady says I had dues which had been deducted and I still have to pay RS.27! I dont understand how I was charged when Rs.777 was an unlimited upload/download package? What does 30 days validity actually mean in terms of Tata Indicom??

                                My Tata Photon Mobile Broad Band Service which I use has frequent disconnections and gives me weak signals at specified time.My complaints to their head has gone unanswered.Whenever I raise a complaint say in the morning hrs on their helpline they immediately send me a email, and SMS saying your complaint is received and necessary action will be taken,and by evening without checking on me they sent another e mail, and SMS your complaint has been resolved.This is being going on for the past approximately one and half year, and to earn Rs.150/- they send their engineer to my house to check,I do not know what they check,they give a call to their office and say your problem will be solved and they leave.BUT THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED, and I get a monthly statement adding Engineers visit of Rs.150/-.

                                The above explanation is in short and my computer starts from 0830 hrs until 1530 hrs.

                                I have the full complaints of emails send to their head of the department.

                                I wish to know how this problem will be solved.Please direct me.

                                  I have been getting lot of harassment calls from photon plus Recovery team, they say themselves to be the lawyers of Photon plus and harrassing me stating they are going to file a court case. I took photon plus connection annual subscription connection on my company name bearning phone number [protected] in the year 2010. I used the connection for an year and did not renew the connection as i didn't have the requirement, i called up the customer care and asked them to discontinue the connection. After all this i have been getting such harrasement calls, if no action is taken by Tata photon plus and such harrasement is not stopped, i want to move consumer court.

                                  Ironically i am currently a active customer of Tata photon plus post paid monthly subscription(phone number- [protected]).

                                    My photon number is [protected]. I logged complaint no.[protected] for very slow internet speed. The engineer visited my home and said that it was a network issue and routed the complaint to the network team. But the network team called me and said that the speed would remain slow because there is network congestion in my area and they do not plan any new towers in the area. They said that I will continue to get slow speed and this problem cannot be solved.

                                      i have called tata photon toll free customer care several times , they responded and sent technician for repairing the problem , but whenever the technician is here to solve the problem , the problem disappears.
                                      The problem is :the download speed is below 10kbps even at the beginning of the month when i am entitled to 1Mbps bandwidth( rarely the download speed peaks to 70Kbps), i downloaded mcafee tech check since i am installing mcafee internet security and the download speed is very low, after downloading the application tried installing it but it kept saying that there is a problem with the internet connection ,

                                      also i get the message when i try to open webpages which open fine on other computers.
                                      the message: this web page is not available
                                      or they take a long time to load even 10 minutes .on mentioning this to the customer care they reply that the 1MB high speed bandwidth limit of 1Gb is over (still i am entitled to a speed of 33 Kbps ) only yahoo.com opens properly.

                                        I used tata photon plus for more than 2 years.

                                        Last year in May (2012) went outside India, I mailed Photon team to block my account. I also called tata photon plus customer care, but did not get any response.

                                        I paid bills for the month of Jun and July even though I did not used my photon plus.

                                        When I came back in December 2012, I received number of calls (from Different executives of Tata Photon plus) from Photon executives regarding pending payment of XXX amount. I informed them that I had sent an e-mail in July to block my account and asked them to send me detail that for which months the payment is due and kindly send me a detail e-mail.

                                        I never mentioned in any conversation that I will not Pay the bill, What I want to know is the detail e-mail from tata photon plus. Executives also noted down my registered e-mail id and promised to send the email after the call which I never received.

                                        Today I received some SMS that tata photon plus has sent me a notice through lok adalat of Mumbai, and I have to present there on 02.03.2013.

                                        I am very much disappointed with this unprofessional behavior of Tata photon plus. they never called me send me the email for which month's payment is due, they never responded on my query that why should I pay bill for those months for which I had requested the company to block my account.

                                        The worst thing was, they never gave any dead line nor informed me (by call or email) that they will take such legal actions if I do not make payment.

                                        What should I do now? Kindly look in to this matter and do the needful.
