Dear sir/madam I am Praveen Kumar. I am using tata phortonmax from 8th Dec. 2013. My complaint is that uses is very low but deduction from my account is so high, more than 1-2 GB in a single day many times and speed is so poor. I mailed many times to tata customercare but no any reply. I called also many times. All the time there was a simple excuse 'I am forwading your mail to technical tepartment, our person will call you' but no any call, no solution, no reply. Please tell what will I do for that ?     I had a tata docomo dongle photon plus no-[protected].

    Due to poor service and after raising lots of complain i finally decided to surrender the number. Tata photon plus [protected]@750 rental plan
    So i went to tata docomo outlet store on[protected] i have filled form and submitted written complaint to disconnect the photon number and tata docomo store person asked me to clear the balance amount and i have paid the amount.They have given me some service request:[protected]) for cancellation.
    After that my services are in disconnected.
    I got customer call after 2 days for confirmation to cancel the photon services i confirmed to cancel.


    Now after a year i got a legal notice from hyderabad saying if i don't pay amount of rs 1903/- a case will be lodged against me in court "received to my mail on[protected]".

    Today i.E[protected] i got call from advocate (Some lady) [protected] dont remember the department but she told me some delhi court,
    Just confirmed my name and said someone has filed a case against you.
    I asked her what was that all about, then she said she does not have any information regarding this and gave me case number nw706
    And said if i have to know more on this then talk to mr. Dk sathyanaryana [protected]
    Wanted to know what it was so i called this dk sathyanaryana, he says that
    I have a pending tata photon bill of rs. 1903 with tata photon,
    If i dont pay today by 5pm they will file the case in delhi court.


    Why i am getting this type of threat calls and legal notice even i have not used their service.


    Please help me and suggest what should i do.

      I was at City center I, Salt Lake, Kolkata center of Tata docomo to pay my photon connection post paid bill. I had left my phone at house, hence didn't have the tata photon number to make the payment with cash from the automatic cash accepting machine. I asked the customer care staff Debanshu whether it is possible to make a cash payment without the number( I expected him to give me my photon number from the database). Well he informed that it is not possible to do so. Fair enough, I did make the payment next day but the way he replied back saying that it is not possible without the account number was downright rude and absolutely unacceptable. You guys calls us up every alternate days to take sim, take this postpaid connection, upgrade this plan and so on and so forth. And when a customer walks in to make a payment is this the way to behave?? He would have mentioned that maam I am afraid it is not possible to make a payment without the photon card number. I really don't understand why are your staffs are not trained to be polite and well behaved with the customers. Shame on you guys.

We have received online payment of Rs. 1980 against your TATA Photon Number [protected] on 12-JAN-2014 and your transaction number is MHCC[protected]. We request you to treat this mail as an acknowledgment for the closure of your account. We thank you for your patience. After paying the bills why I am getting calls about court cases etc. Please let me know as it is irritating and causing undue nuisances. I have a caller name - Krishna Devi Delhi Court etc. ([protected]) I dont understand why these calls are being made after the payment has been done. Please advise

          I had a connection from Tata Photon since 2009 in Delhi but as speed was slow I decided to take a broadband from another company and though of converting my connection to prepaid where I can pay as i use. I have relocated to Bangalore now.
          Many times I called customer care and I got rude responses and also all executives were like trying to convince me to continue postpaid and noone gave me informtaion for Preapaid. I emailed them that I have to get it converted and 1 executive responded to me saying that I have to visit Delhi for that. It was really hilarious.
          After sometime 1 executive suggested me intercircle Migration where the process would take 1 month time and I have to pay the pending bill and also the bill for that month. I agreed as i always wanted to use their services(although slow) It was told to me clearly that someone from staff will collect papers (adress proof ) from my residence and also verify the address.

          But I got no call from them and my set stopped working. When I called to customer care and told them what had happened most of them rudly denied saying that it is working. I tried convining the technical helpdesk and they said its working from their side where I was geting red colour in my modem.

          After few days I called and emailed like 20 times and they told me that someone had called me for collecting papers but I dint attend the phone.

          I always call back the numbers and I am 100 percent sure there was no call from tata during those 30 days of intercircle Migration.

          I again and again emailed them and called them. There was not a single email in my inbox till next 30 days and the customer care told me to visit one of the nearest branches for the documentation submission.

          I was diverted to 2 branches and they did not accept my documents.

          I called customer care and told them, they denied saying that and almost bumped over the phone. When the bill was pending after the last cycle they started sending 10 emails a day and 10 calls a day for submitting bill.

          I spoke to customer care and said that since last 2 months am not using service at all.
          One of the clever customer care said that you just switch on the modem. I dint do as i understood his clever intention

          He wanted to proove that I am using service and not paying the bill.

          When the service was disconnected no email was replied but when I escalated the matter the clever customer care I guess set the connection right and called me to test the service .

          If I had done that they would have proved that i am still using the service.

          He also said that he can settle the bills and send someone to collect the document and dat he will call up in next 10 mins. Its been like 1 month already but his 10 mins have still not come.

          It clearly shows the mischief the customer care guy was doing to extract money.

          After that day also some other customer care guys had called several times and my inbox got full of reminders for bill.

          I have asked my money back through email and its TATA PHOTON WHO NEEDS TO RETURN ME MONEY AND NOT I as I dint get their service as they had terminated the service.

          Its also to be noted that I was sent to 2 tata photon centers for adress proof submission where they diid not collect.

          Its called "DIRECT GUNDAGIRI"

          If today tata photon writes me giving legal notices I shall sue them properly.

          Thanks that I did not continue these clever thiefs service that is just a way of fooling customers.

          TATA PHOTON WONT LAST LONGER AS THEY DONT HAVE BROADBAND AND THEIR SERVICES ARE CHEAP AND THE GUYS WORKING THEIR ARE CUNNING AND THEIR POLICIES ARE MONEY EXTRACTING.

          I HAVE FACED ISSUES WITH TATASKY ALSO WHERE THEY SAY SOMETHING AND DO SOMETHING.


          TATA JEE, YOU DONT HAVE A LONG LIFE. I CAN PREDICT THAT.

            I recently purchased a TATA Photon Max WIFI with connection number [protected]. Both the actual speed and coverage is pathetic compared to the claims made by the company. Against the claim of 6.2 MBPS speed and WIFI coverage of 100 metres, I am getting a pathetic 0.5-0.8 MBPS speed and coverage of around 10 Feet (3-4 metres). Not even 10% of the claims made by the company is being delivered. Never buy any TATA product. If you choose to buy get ready to be cheated.

            A service personnel visited my residence. Did nothing and left. Same pathetic speed and coverage. Think they have a service delivery team only for namesake.

            I recently purchased a TATA Photon Max WIFI ([protected]) for Rs. 5000. The product is a sub-standard one. The delivery on speed and WIFI Coverage is much lower than what is promised by the company. Even complaining does not help.

            Speed - 6.2 MBPS promised 0.40 MBPS delivered
            Wifi Coverage - 100 metres promised Less than 10 metres delivered

            I raised complaints over phone and through this forum also. The service personnel comes checks and leaves without resolving the issue. All they do is to check the speed and leave without doing anything.

            Cheaters. Don't buy any TATA product else get ready to be cheated.
            I bought a tata photon max wifi sometime back.. after ordering the device it took them 3 weeks for them to deliver even though it is mentioned on the website 72 hrs door step delivery. after it finally arrived it worked brilliantly the first time i used it ...after that it stopped connecting . i placed a complaint and for 10 days got no reply..i would call them 3 times everyday, they would assure me somebody will call me in an hour or so.. but even till now no luck..i took matters to my own hands i thought let me try one of the service centres..it was far but anyways..it worked and after getting back i used it once and then again the problem of not connecting started..i again complained and i still don't expect a call from the technical team anytime soon. this is a nightmare..after paying rs2000 one would expect some service but no..i have used tata photon earlier, i had no troubles with them then but this time its pathetic. i am totally disappointed with everything. if only i could undo buying this nightmare of a product.

              I got a call from Ms. Aarti saying as calling from Tata Photon, She described me about the Postpaid plan of Tata Photon. So, I decided to have the plan and on 21st Dec 2013, I did the formalities about getting the same plan (Photon [protected]). But, while I was making the cheque on the name of Tata Photon, the person asked me to make in name of FinixTeleServices. They mentioned as it is Sales Partner of Tata Photon having office in Shivaji Nagar, Pune. It shocked me but as I thought this is Sales Partner for Tata Photon, so I didnt worry about it and grabbed the service.

              My plan started and it worked fine from Dec 22nd through Dec 30th, soon after that my connection got disconnected and which is still not working.

              I went to the Tata Photon Gallery in Kalyani Nagar, Pune and they told me, as the connection got disconnected due to the negative verification status. Even, the person told me that they can't do anything, as I had bought the connection from outside i.e. from the sales partner FinixTeleServices and need to discuss with them only about the same issue.

              FYI, The case of verification, while I was about to get the connection was :

              I had got a call from the TATA PHOTON person about the Verification procedure to be taking place soon. He asked me about my Residential address and possible time to meet. I asked him, I can meet by anytime on weekends but not possible to meet in weekdays, as I would be in office. Also told him that he can enquire about me in my society through my neighbors or watchman. But, after that, I didn't get any call of that person for verification process.

              Now, I don't know on which basis my connection is barred and verification status is presented as Negative.

              On 4th Jan 2014, I dropped an email to '[protected]@tatatel.co.in' for the same, then I received the auto generated email stating with Service Request no.[protected] for my Photon Number [protected] with final resolution date 8th Jan 2014.

              But, still neither I got any update on my email nor a single call from the customer care of Tata Photon.

              When I called Ms. Aarti (for my number [protected]) in FINIXTELESERVICES, she told me that the connection would get started by next day. But till now, the connection is still inactive and I'm continiously trying to contact her. She is not picking up my call and not responding me back.

              So, at last, I took the help of Tata Photon Chat support but they are saying, since this is the corporate connection so they can't help me out over this.

              I tried calling on [protected] but the connection is getting disconnected, so tried calling on [protected] and getting response as "there is no complaint register on this number[protected]". Then I tried to contact the NODAL OFFICER number of PUNE on '[protected]' and '[protected]' but seems it is not working.

              So right now I'm totaly fedup and helpless with such a service provied by TATA PHOTON wherein I'm not able to get the possible response.

              This kind of service from Tata Photon is never expected by me and this is really pathetic.

              I would like to have this to be taken with higher priority and to resolved with satisfactory result ASAP.

              Tata Photn Max Wifi, Not getting connection from past 3 days and if i go to tata docomo relationship center they are telling your connection is barred, due to re verification, but we waited till re verification but after re verification also they are not giving connection and are telling wait 24 hours and again when we went to relationship center Mr Shyam is telling it will be done in 15 minutes but still it has not been done, if it is not possible, please arrange for refunding the amount soon and if it is posssible get the connection soon and also i am lacking speed it is only coming download speeds upto 1 mbps and it is written on the box download speeds up to 6.2 mbps but i am lacking that also . I want it to be done within today otherways we shall cancel it and take the money back.

                i am receiving a call from tata photon, in which they ask me to pay your bill in the name of nidhi jain. her tata photon a/c no. is[protected]. they all time calling me for bill payment. actually i dont know any nidhi jain. they said me that my number has been given as referance number for any future calls. so i told him hundred timex that i am not responsible for nidhi jain's billing due. if tata photon wants to receive his money they can contact her through her ip address of computer. i also want to take action on tata photon, who gave away connections without any phone verification. i want to take action of Rs. INR 500000 to tata photon. i am suffering this problem since last 10-15 billing cycle. so you are requested to please take some serious action to the company and the tata photon connection holder (nidhi jain).

                    Hi, Being in the corporate plan the service is expected. I have been using my photon device for last 4 yrs and also Docomo number even after changing cities. Photon no: [protected] Docomo no: [protected] I have raised complaints for the network at the Customer care of Photon as well as Docomo . The network is intermittent. However after raising the complaints, have not received any proper update on this. The concern is I`m not able to use the service of internet as well as voice calling and paying the bill at every month end. This is an unsatisfactory service. Please provide an update on this.

                    Or will have to switch service provider for Docomo and for Photon either will have to suspend for certain time or will have to look for some other Internet Provider. So that i don`t have to pay bills for the unused service.

                      I am shocked by this incident with tata photon call center. My photon number is [protected]. I got a call on 7th Dec from a man from tata photon asking me to pay up my bill. My bill is not due until 10th Dec. That man spoke to me like I am a thief and he is an extortionist! Ofcourse I know when to pay my bill, I do need the internet! He said he would keep calling me till I paid my bill and when I hung up I immediately got an sms saying my photon services was disconnected. The reference id was[protected], I did never issue this request. MY BILL IS NOT DUE TILL 10TH DEC AND TATA PHOTON HAS NO RIGHT TO DISCONNECT MY SERVICES. I am appaled with this behavior! After this I have issued not one but two complaints with reference ids[protected] and[protected], but my internet has not been activated till now! I do not feel its right to give so much leverage to a call center employee that he can harass and deactivate any customer's service! This is completely unacceptable behavior! I feel deeply hurt. I have been a decent customer of Tata photon and have been using their services for many months. Not even ones have I not payed or even delayed payment of my bill! This is very disappointing. I again want to say that you can't disconnect a customers internet when even the due date hasn't passed. I am very hurt and displeased by this incident. Till now my service hasn't been activated! I am on the brink of disconnecting Tata photon services myself! The behavior of that caller was extremely harassing and unruly. I didn't expect this from a trusted company like Tata photon. They must mend this horrible incident.

                      So finally my services have been restored, after so much trouble. But I still don't understand why did this happen. Why was request for deactivating my services raised at all, the id was[protected]. Even I don't have much time to go around and this incident was completely undesirable. Also, I receive tens of SMS and emails to remind me to pay my bills, I don't think there is any need for such harassing calls from such absurd callers!

                        I am extremely shocked by this incident. My Tata photon number is [protected] and I have been using their services since many months now. This harassing incident happened on 7th Dev when i received a call from their call center asking me to pay my bill. I have to tell you that I am a very sincere customer and not even once have I not payed my bills on time. So this very rude man spoke to me like I was a thief and he was an extortionist! He asked me in a very bad tone to pay my bill or he would keep calling me. When I told him that I am responsible for paying my bill and I would pay it when I can, he did not stop talking! Even when i hung up the call, he called me back from a different number! And then I immediately received an sms that my services have been deactivated. The request id was[protected] and I never issued it! Since then I have issued not one but two requests to reactivate my services but nothing has been done till now! The ids are[protected] and[protected]. I have to face this extremely harassing situation for no reason! Tata photon had NO RIGHT TO DEACTIVATE A CUSTOMERS SERVICES FOR NOT PAYING BILL BEFORE THE DUE DATE OF THAT BILL HAS PASSED. I am very upset on their customer care services and their inability to reactivate my account. This is not a proper way to deal with their customers. I do not understand why do I have to face this rude behavior of tata photon services. I am extremely hurt by this ill treatment. I have seen many such complaints about harassment by Tata photon customer care services. I fail to understand why no strict action is taken against such employees I am on the verge of hating Tata photon services and discontinuing their service This incident is completely unacceptable by any customer. I hope my complaint is heard on this forum and some action is taken.

                            I haven't seen such frustrating customer care. Despite of 100 mails, numerous phone calls Tata Photon did not change my billing PIN Code even after 5 months. Every time they create just an SR and close that. They haven't provided me any escalation email id also and now have stopped replying my mail. I would advice everybody to stay away from this company.

                            I am listening to this phrase - "It will be resolved soon" since last 5 months! I am not sure how can customer care can be so indifferent and only live by false assurances. For your information I received my tata photon bill today and still the PIN Code is showing as 700028 and not 700102. Do you have any escalation mechanism or not? This is really very much frustrating. This kind of professionalism does not go with reputed "TATA" brand at all.
                            Are you guys mad or dumb or make joke of customer? Why for 5 months you always close a request without resolving it? Yesterday one more time somebody called me that he would definitely solve this trivial issue this time and he would call me after resolving that. But I didn't get any call and just like other time I got a message the issue is resolved. But as I expected there was no change in the billing PIN code. Please see the attached screenshot.

                            I got a call from someone in the appelate department and he told me things have been taken care now and it is reflecting correctly in the website. Also I can see yet another SERVICE REQUEST[protected] has been raised!


                            But I can still see PIN Code is showing as 700028 and not 700102! What is happening?

                            Have you read the mail chain? The SR[protected] was closed by you without any resolution, just like so many other SRs over 5 months.
                            I mailed to appellate.[protected]@tatadocomo.com as well, they told that they had made some changes, I need to wait for next month bill generation to verify the same.

The customer care says the reference verification is negative whereas my reference didnt even get a verification call. This is the worst service from a Tata group enterprise and I am very much disappointed. Please conduct the reference verification, activate my device at the earliest. Thanks

                                Hi All, I was a Tata Photon Plus user. My tata photon number is [protected]. I describe below my issue faced with them : I used Corporate plan 10GB (i.e., 10240 MB) @ 900 INR. I activated a speed booster for my photon on 19th Aug, 2013. The cost of the speed booster was 500 INR. My bill cycle is 6th Aug, 13 to 5th Sept, 13. The speed booster activated in a particular bill cycle is applicable only for that bill cycle. From the next bill cycle it will not be included in your bill. The booster I activated in the month of August was included in my Sept 5th bill. I paid the bill amount. After that I dint activate any speed booster. But in the October month bill (6th Sept, 13 to 5th Oct, 13) again I was charged 500 INR extra. So I raised a service request on 17th Oct, 13 to deduce my bill amount. In the Sept-Oct bill cycle I have consumed only 10233 MB which is less compared to my eligible data usage. Then what is the need for me to activate a speed booster. I used to call weekly once the customer care executives[protected] and enquire my service request status. They asked me to send a mail regarding it to [protected]@tatatel.co.in. Then I received a mail stating that my request will be resolved on 14th Nov, 13. So I waited till that date. In the mean time, i received my 6th Oct to 5th Nov bill amount. The extra 500 INR was included in that bill cycle also. So I again sent the mail to the above mail id. I got the same reply. On Nov 14th i again called them. They told that I will be receiving a call from their bill desk executives within a day. But I dint receive it. So I asked the executive to escalate my request. He gave me a mail id (appellate.[protected]@tatadocomo.com) and told that this is the high level escalation mail id. After that I dint get any response. Till today I waited patiently that my request will get resolved. But there was not even a single response from their bull bill desk executives. I dono what they are analyzing for more than a month with my request. So I cancelled my connection with them. I write this to stop others from taking a connection and spoil themselves. If i raise a request for speed boosters(for which I pay them), it gets resolved in few minutes. But when it comes to bill complaint (for which they need to pay me), they wait till the user gets irritated and go away with the option of cancellation. The extra amount is their profit. So please I suggest you not to take a connection with this fraud organisation.

                                I am a Tata photon user, I cannot explain in words regarding the service of your Tata photon Wi-Fi. MOST DISASTER SERVICE A PERSON CAN EVER EXPECT. The executives those who were appointed are most illiterate fellows. They speak nonsense all time without helping out a customer. The higher authority who are sitting to manage escalation are doing nothing. I have escalated even to appellate office still no good response.
                                EXTRA HIDDEN CHARGES ARE TAKEN FROM CUSTOMERS AND CUSTOMERS ARE BEING BOUND TO PAY THE BILL BY THE MORON EXECUTIVES. Never there would be a match between the statements of the executives. One executive would say one thing and other would say different. No defined process being followed in a company. For this kind of service few connection were disconnected from my company itself. Now the time is mine to go for it.

                                  Tata Photon+ Fooling people with usage details. I am tired now by complaining, this is the third month facing same issue. I have Tata photon Plus No.[protected] postpaid with Plan 5 [protected]@550, Data cycle date 23rd to 22nd(Next month) On 22nd Nov, I checked my day wise data consumption and found 20 Nov-Data Used 14 MB with total 3396 MB and no entry for 21st Nov I knew I consumed some data for 21st so called customer care to know the consumption, I logged complaint that system is not showing data for 21st Nov. I had an idea about consumption of 21st 350 MB so calculated 3396 + 350=3746 MB and started to download some songs and movies about 1200 MB so can utilize 5 GB as last day of data cycle. On 27th I received bill Rs.1065/- with consumption of 5916 MB and In detailBill I found for 20 Nov data consumption 656 MB. Three times I observed last week of data consumption cycle online data consumption not displaying correctly. I called customer care and share screenshot taken on 22nd Nov with jpg format, customer care called back me and was asking for PDF, I submitted PDF. Today is 2nd Dec, I called couple of time to customer care but always been asked to wait till 2nd Dec. On 2nd Dec, received SMS "Hi! The complaint on service for your photon no [protected], ref. no.[protected] is resolved. Thanks you. I called to Customer care and asked to reopen, he said it has been closed and send another compalint no .[protected]. Prior to this 2 times I had similar issue but I stopped consumption and this time been traped. This clearly states that by fooling customers(showing pending data usage), let customers to use more data and then ask for high charges for additional usage. I would suggest customers use Photon Plus at their own risk as the high speed surfing is complemented by high mental torture at the hands of their customer care guys and their illogical system that calculates the usage.

                                    Tata executive caller was misbehaved with me very badly.I also complained but no one there to listened me.
