Dear All,

I (PROSENJIT ACHARJEE ) have received the threat of Legal Notice from HIFCO Marwel Limited (now PHOTON CAPITAL ADVISORS LTD.) for dishonor of Cheques.
I had taken admission in MBA IN PHARMA BUSINESS MANAGEMENT course in May 2008. My Enrolment Number was[protected]. I had already paid the initial payment of Rs.6500 and four installment of Rs.2168. However, I had requested them to discontinue the MBA course (due to some personal problems ) much before the classes have started.
On sept 6th 2008 and three times thereafter, I had written an email to ICFAI stating want to discontinue the MBA course and requested not to deposit PDC's in the A/C, but still they deposited all the cheques in the Bank which got Bounced.

Today, I have received a letter of look adalot of Hyderabad from Hifco Marwel /Photon capital advisors Ltd to pay the pending amount or seviour legal action will be taken.

As I have already intimated the University for Cancellation of Registration and non persuaing of the couse, still they are harassing me through Hifco Marwel Limited by sending Legal Notices.

If now, even i want to discontinue the couse, i have to pay the entire Course fee which is injustice to me. I dont know, how Hifco Marwel came to the Picture where The Registration has done with ICFAI.

I think ICFAI is more Interested in Extracting Money from the Students even though they dont wish to persue the Couse, by threating to take legal actions against them. I have gone through various sites where too many students are also suffering from the same Issues. I have also seen the similar case of 'Mansi Mahadik' from mumbai, where she got justice in the end by your help.

I hope all students like me get the Justice.

    I have placed internet data card online from TATA Teleservises, my order got
    cancelled due to non availibility of postpaid services in hassan.

    Placed order on 5th June, i got call from company on 7th june stating my
    order is canclled becoz on serviceses not available, my concern still my
    money has not got refunded till today..

    TaTa Indicom - Photon Card — Taking the money & nt offering the card

    I had ordered Photon card for my directors on 28.04.2009 & payment is made on day itself & so many days have passed i didnt got my card & not even my money even thought after cancellation of the same.

    The marketing Executives involved in this are Mr. Rajat MR. Mahadev.even though i called up several times on phone they are not picking up the phone.

    I think they are doing cheating business & if this problem is not solved by consumer forum i have to register a police complaint to get our money back.

      I regret to have opted for Tata Photon Plus service. I faced problems since day one.
      - There was problem in activation.
      - I had the product home delivered and was unable to reach the seller after that!..
      - There were no communications (No Welcome Note, the 1st monthly bill never reached until my 1st complaint) due to which I did not have my customer id or photon id.
      - 1st One Month I could not reach the customer care due to unavailability of the ids.
      Finally, I get through due to a 1st Monthly bill payment follow-up call!...
      After my complaint (id.[protected] on 4th June'10) that the service is bad with a download speed lower than 10kbps against agreed service and frequently disconnected. The technician visited me to tell me that he would send a report on the network here (I am located in a prime location in Bangalore)and informed me that the solution would be provided in a couple of days.
      After multiple follow-ups for quick resolution, I finally get a deadline of 15th June'10. My work is very critical and I had to resort to using neighbour’s connection for my work!..
      In spite of having said that a quick solution is critical to me, I was made numerous false promises by the customer care execs and the supervisors with deadlines which never seem to have existed.
      I have been patient enough to wait till 15th June'10 which is of no use since they have extended the deadline as well as closed the complaint id without consulting me and raised a new complaint id with a new deadline!...
      On the 15th and 16th June’10, post numerous calls to the customer care and awaiting their promised timelines for at least a callback, I did not receive any communication or solution.
      I am frustrated for buying such a costly device which is of no use with such a hopeless service and for taking the costliest plan available with them thinking I would get a quality service.
      Unless Tata takes necessary actions to pacify the damage, as a senior member in one of the best IT Companies in the world, I think my company should not consider taking services from such bad service providers ever!.. Tata will surely lose any kind of customers from this end!...
      I strongly recommend anyone looking for equivalent services not to opt Tata services for sure!..
      I have wasted too much of time and money!..
      My experience has been more than mere frustration!..
      just started using Tataphoton plus I took it is very bad experience
      at the start itself. My account is barred without any intimation
      though they have my number, email ID, contact address. I am contacting
      on customer care no one answering the call. I tried Tata Gallery still
      no reply. Recently I got the reply from Gallery that, bill of some
      old Tata Indicom number is pending so they barred the service. It is
      like criminal charges & they punished me without any information.

      Second most important service related problem I am facing here in
      my city is that while purchasing this connection the sales person
      told me that the phtoton plus will launch in next week i.e. june
      second week but what I got information now after purchase is that
      photon plus will launch in august 2010 only. Now see in my scheme
      under Toshaiba laptop is that first three months 2 GB/month free Now I
      am getting connection bandwidth of around 70 kbps now tell me how to
      consume or avail this 2Gb on this..its very very slow and I will not
      use the net untill photon plus launch as I used to broadband. So I
      requested them to delay this scheme from august onward (photon plus
      launch in city) because I availed this scheme for Photon plus
      not photon wiz now it is photon wiz in my city and this scheme is
      of no use for me untill photon plus launch. No Information from customer care, gallery or email ID. What a dumb customer care.
      The new meaning of Worst Customer service in dictionary is Tata Photon Plus. If you take it you'll regret it for life time. As their ad suggests that the going on slow bike is not from others internet providers but its from Tata Photon Plus. So, friends I request you never to go for this.

        I have tried to do a online recharge of tata photon plus on 11/6/2010.But the transaction didn't seem to be successful.I contacted customer care at [protected],and they said to try once again and since the recharge is not successful,so no amount will be deducted from my bank account.so i tried two more times,but the same.But when i checked my bank balance the next day i was shocked..Rs 600 was deducted from my account.I contacted customer care and they said that they couldnot provide any information regarding the same as there system was under upgradation and asked me to contact me after 24 hours.so i again called the customer care on 13/6/2010 at around 2-40pm and they lodge a complaint and gave me the complaint number as[protected] and assured me that i will receive a solution after 24 hrs. Since i didn't receive any solution after 24 hours so i again called the coustomer care and said the problem. Then i was shocked at their response.They said that they could not help me regarding the same and asked me to go to the nearest tata photon office.I am using an state bank ATM card. Sir please help me..Rs 600 was deducted and no balance was Added to my account. The website is also provided by them.It is www.ichoose.in.Please help me sir please..Thanx..

          I am Dipa Chakraborty, currently residing in Bangalore. I bought TATA PHOTON WHIZ,( Prepaid) from my native Assam.Its been a month since I have moved back to Bangalore. Two weeks back I moved to the TATA INDICOM WALK IN OFFICE here in Bangalore, at koramangala to confirm whether I will be able to use my device here and what are the formalities to be performed in order to enjoy the services. The customer care executive then, mentioned it very carefully that I would be able to use the device here without any hassles and hence I may carry on with the recharge procedure. I confirmed and reconfirmed with him, and pat came the same reply. However After recharging with a 100 initially followed by 849 on the same day, , i.e 5th june,I havent been able to connect to the internet till date. Instead they kept giving dates, kept misguiding me, all the while giving away fake promises of solving my problem. Now, its been more than a week, and everytime they ask me to come with my device to the office. The count is 5 times till now. And finally they said yesterday thwey cant help me. I dont understand the reason of such behaviour. Why is it that a bunch of are scattered all over in one place!!! They neither solved the problem, harassed me completely by asking me to come down five times, with no action being taken and nor did they refund the money. Is this the core value of the business. Its utter shame on a brand name called TATA

            I have brought photon+ 3 months back. i regulary deposit rent every month around Rs 1000. but for no use. I went to tata indicom showroom so many times further I have complained so many times to customer care. I am in travel job and have much work on internet have suffered a huge loss due to this photon+ now i want to book a complaint against tata indicom regarding this photon+. At the time of taking this connection up to 3.1 mbbs speed. I saw in adds also. i am expecting the speed min 1mbbs. after taking this conection only i find it this company is given falt infermation. Now am getting min 1kb to 60kbbs only that to not constent. i dont know way should i want to use this conection. no one respond to me reg this complaient.

              NOT GIVEN ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE USAGE OF INTERNET PROVIDED BY TATA PHOTON PLUS BY INSTALLATION REPRESENTATIVE & CLOSED INTERNET W/O ANY INFORMATION.
              INTERNET FREE USAGE PROVIDED 10 GB FOR TWO MONTHS. BUT PLAN WAS NOT CLEARLY TOLD.
              WE HAVE CALLED ON CUSTOMER CARE No REGARDING THE NETNOT WORKING. THEY TOLD YOU HAVE USED EXCESS INTERNET(18 GB AGAINST 5GB & TOLD THAT 10 GB IS DEVIDED IN EQUALLY IN TWO MONTHS) SO WE HAVE STOPPED YOUR INTERNET SERVICE. BUT IT WAS NOT TOLD TO US & NO USER PASSWARD & USAGE CHECKING METHOD WAS TOLD. NOW THESE PEOPLE ARE ASKING FOR PAYMENT OF 5000 TO START OF INTERNET SERVICES.
              NOW WE HAVE GOT A MAIL MENTIONING THE EXCESS USAGE OF INTERNET.

              costly as compared to others...

              no proper usage plans

              minimum recharge Rs 200...cool but what the heck is only 250mb For the whole month...any o[censored]s can easily finish it -in a single day...and they provides it for a whole month...damn


              recharge with 500 and get around 500-650 Mb for a month... what it means that if want to a download a rare movie of around 600 mb from internet using tata photon plus it will cost you only 500 Rs...god help us...


              so whats the main point is to DO NOT BUY IT if you are a day-night downloading BuZZ like me
              I faced a similar problem.
              I took a photon + connection 2 months back with 1 gb free usage.. but that 1 gb got over within a week.
              I then registered a complaint with the tata photon + call centre and they told me that for every page that i browse, the usage is rounded off to Mbs... just imagine.. every page will not cost more than a few kbs and they are charging in Mbs for every page..

              this is jadadish have taken tataphoton plus connection. Here i am not getting proper signle and i have not downloaded anything in this month. But tataphoton guys surprised me with more than 3k bill. which i am not ging to pay. Requesting you too all dont go for Tataphoton plus connection. They are loosting from us like anything.

              Could you please help me out to solve this issue. Today when i calledup to customer care ( vibhav calledup at 9.21pm) he is not at all ready to take a complaint. Advice me how can i launch the compaint against TATAPHOTON PLUS .

              HI,
              this is Jagadish, using tataphoton plus connection. I have taken 650 plan with 1gb download free schem.Last month i have paid 2, 080/- after calling to customer care. they said i had that much o[censored]sage which i didnt.
              this month they surprized me lot with morethan 3k bill. Today i had a talk with customer care guy VIBHAV at 9.21pm to launch the complaint but he is not ready to take the compaint againt tataphoton.

              Please advice me what should i do now. Now my immediate action is i am not using this STUPID TATA CONNECTION who they are CHEATING PEOPLE. Now adivce me for my next approach..

                  Hi, I have taken a Tata Photon Plus connection no [protected].
                  To take the connection i went the Ultadanga (Kolkatta) Tata True Value Hub. They showed me the demo and i decided to take the device, i gave them all my documents, they took some of my original documents to xerox and instead of getting my documents xeroxed they printed some thing at the back of my original document. And they could not return my original document because whatever they had printed was something confidential for them. I was very disappointed with this and came out of the hub without taking the device.
                  Then i contacted the Tata Photon customer service center and placed a request for an executive to be sent to my house to show me a demonstration and then i can purchase the device. The person came the next day i.e on Sunday but without any demonstration device. so unfortunately we culd not take the device on that day. He again came the next day, and he had bought a demo device as well as a laptop. So we checked the speed it was fine. And that finally we paid him the money and took the device.
                  After taking the device it took around a week to get it activated and i had to send mails to get it activated.
                  After it got activated the speed was not too good. So again i had to send a mail to complain about the speed as i was advised at the Point Of Sale that the minimum speed of Tata Photon Plus will be 1mb. When i sent a mail complaining about the speed, a technician came to my house and tested the speed from speedtest.net and advised the speed is 400kbps. When i advised them that i was advised that the minimu speed is 1mbps, they informed me that the message was wrong and actually the speed ranges between 400kbps to 600kbps. I was really very unhappy by this as i was mis informed at the point of sale. And moreover my speed went lowest upto 100kbps sumtimes. The technician who had visited my home advised that this would be under observation with the Networking team, i expected that somebody would get back to me after two days to confirm if everthing is fine and then they would close the complain. But tp my surprise nobody got back to me for about a week and the complain was also closed. Which was very very disappointing,
                  I had to send a mail again and then somebody got back to me from the Networking team i requested him to ask somebody from the sales or services to get back to me as i am aware that the networking team wont help me. He said he would make a nte for somebody to get back to me but till today nobody got back to me.
                  This wasnt the kind of service that i had expected from such a branded company.
                  I am really very frustrated and disappointed with Tata Photon.
                  And now i beg Tata Communications to send somebody and take away the Tata Photon Device as i dont want to keep it forever and cry.

                  I just started using Tataphoton plus I took it is very bad experience
                  at the start itself. My account is barred without any intimation
                  though they have my number, email ID, contact address. I am contacting
                  on customer care no one answering the call. I tried Tata Gallery still
                  no reply. Recently I got the reply from Gallery that, bill of some
                  old Tata Indicom number is pending so they barred the service. It is
                  like criminal charges & they punished me without any information.

                  Second most important service related problem I am facing here in
                  my city is that while purchasing this connection the sales person
                  told me that the phtoton plus will launch in next week i.e. june
                  second week but what I got information now after purchase is that
                  photon plus will launch in august 2010 only. Now see in my scheme
                  under Toshaiba laptop is that first three months 2 GB/month free Now I
                  am getting connection bandwidth of around 70 kbps now tell me how to
                  consume or avail this 2Gb on this..its very very slow and I will not
                  use the net untill photon plus launch as I used to broadband. So I
                  requested them to delay this scheme from august onward (photon plus
                  launch in city) because I availed this scheme for Photon plus
                  not photon wiz now it is photon wiz in my city and this scheme is
                  of no use for me untill photon plus launch. No Information from customer care, gallery or email ID. What a dumb customer care.
                  sir, i want to know about the FRC plans in tata photon plus in prepaid.The Rs.350 unlimited plans is surely unlimited or it has a limit.

                    Even after repeated try the customer service personnel could not be contacted. The complaints has been lodged to the shop from where the

                      I have taken connection TATA photon broad band service few months ago which . TATA Indicom no [protected]. & ACCOUNT NO[protected]

                      Last few days more than 15-20 days I have seen problem to connectivity as well as speed. Few times I can not connect it shows cyber down. When I complained , tata has send some technician whose report was problem is creating from our (tata) cyber, for this it is getting too much slow. It is happen at any time like mid night, evenning,day time. I have complain their customer care center as well as Nodel office but no positive attitude. Every one told me give me one day I will solve your problem. Today I have spoken nodel office who told me I will do it. Same thing told me every nodel officer.

                      I have asked that if your service is not upto the mark why did you send my high bill then he keep me hold & disconnect phone line. No one has interest to solve the problem .

                      Right now in my opinion TATA can not solve the problem regarding speed aas well as billing. Every months creat problem with me but no has taken action. Now I like to get back my money which paid for modem & I will return modem to tata. But they are not agrey with that.
                      Tata told me that they can not do this. My question what can do tata photn broadband for me our public. In customer forum lots of complain but tata has no interest to solve. Now tata not return money & not giving service 3.2 ambps which was mention by TATA photon.

                      TATA provide contact no & nodel officer name Ms .Suggun Shetty & I have tried to speak with her but this I can not reached to her.Some one told me she is not here & we will solve your problem. But I have not got any positive attitude from nodel office also.They are telling me give me one day I will solve your problem.



                      I am requsting to customer forum please help me to get back my money or get the service from tata.

                      TATA photon broad band which Indicom no [protected]. & ACCOUNT NO[protected].

                      After made complain tata mention that he solve the problem . Tata's technical department informed you that in your area has technical fauld it will take more than 5-6 months improve & still I can not get speed .I have called nodel office & i have spoke with Mr. Pratap who suggest me that you can disconnect your connection for 3 months & then you can use it.

                      I got a mail from nodel office they mentiopn that they have no problem in network & speed. Now I did not understan whats going on basically. Tata's technical department informed me somethingf & nodel officer informed me opposite. Now what camn I do for tatat.

                      Still I am waititng for service where tata is not proviiding. Right now I can not see any way to find my connection because it is too slow.

                      Please help me to solve the problem.

                          Please check the trail mails sent to Nodal Officer in TATA Services. First complaint against the faulty device was submitted on 12th April, 10. It is been more than a month, both Dealer and TATA personnel least bothered about the
                          customer service.

                          I would like have money refunded. This is of no good. I am thinking of discontinuing other TATA services that I use.

                          I am amazed as to how much time is required to get a device replaced. It is almost a Month since I have seen the device I purchased. I assumed that escalating the things would further fasten the process, but it seems that TATA personnel are bent to prove me wrong. Is that so?

                          If yes, I request you to please return my faulty device. I will keep it and will forget about TATA services. Also, I promise that I will replace all the TATA services that I use.

I work for Dell International as you might have noticed, due to my late night shift timings, I unable to go to the dealer for all the work that your representatives are asking me to do. I would really appreciate your understandings here as to sleep is far more important for me then to get a faulty device replaced by visiting a dealer again and again. I have already devoted enough time to get the device replaced. Be assured I was a loyal TATA customer using TATA SKY, TATA INDICOM services as well, but this incident has left a bad taste.

                          Here, is what TATA Services can do to gain a satisfied customer. First, I request you to please guide them to send a service technician to my house address to pick up the box and deliver the replaced device. Second, I would suggest you to waive the rent for the month of April as the device was not with me and I have not used it ( I ready to pay my bill till 12th April to the point I have used the device).

                          Being in the same customer centric profession, I assume that you would understand the gravity of the situation. Kindly oblige.

Despite my friends warning about the lack of services, I purchased this device on 31st March 2010, however, the device failed within first 12 days from the date of purchase. I filled a complaint on 12th April with customer care services and was informed that a technician would come to my place to check the device.
                          Technician himself checked the device and the notebook that I possess, he confirmed that the device is faulty and needs a replacement. He mentioned that the service center is in Chandigarh. Due to my late night working hours, it is not possible for me to visit the service center in the day time. He then mentioned to contact the Dealer as the device was within one month from the date of purchase. After contacting the dealer, I came to know that they would ‘OBLIGE’ and will send the device to the service center. I visited the dealer 4 times before I got the same device back. To my utter surprise the device was still not functioning.
                          The device is still with Dealer and is still not been replaced.
                          I would just like to know how would you compensate the loss of time, energy and money that I have already put in to get this device replaced. I assume I will have to pay for the rent of this faulty device which I have not used for past 3 weeks. Also, please tell me as to ‘Why I should recommend the TATA PHOTON to my colleagues, friends and family’?
                          In case nothing can be done, then I would request you to please get the device refunded, so that I can invest in a proper wireless connection that would work and cater to the customers need.

                            I'm Manoj and bought a Tata Photon Whiz bearing "[protected]", a USB Internet Service three months ago. The promised speed was 154 kbps which is only a dream to avail. The connection gets lost atleast once in 30min forcing to login again which is counter productive. Adding to this crap, since 3 days the connection is not even sustaining for more than 5min. Getting pissed off to discover that the connection is lost before I attempt to browse.

                              This is regarding the Photon Plus #[protected]. Soon after I took the connection they have disconnected the service. Which caused a huge loss of business for me. The issue was they were unable to find the documents I have submitted while taking the connection. Did they lost it? Funny ha !!!

                              I am posting here the e-mail communication happened. Even they did not reply to my mail detailing the issues, just apologized over phone, probably they were afraid to have it recorded.

                              Anyway I thought probably this is first time some mistake happened, but no, after a month they have sent me completely wrong bill. I shall post that in other mail chain.

                              (2) 6 April evening : I have logged on to the system to do some urgent work, and I saw that the Photon+ is not working. The customer care told me that the connection is terminated because I did not submit the address proof and ID proof.

                              (3) 7 April morning : I have called the shop in Richmond Circle, they said the connection was terminated because my address was not found and my mobile was unreachable. And the connection will be resumed on 8 April.

                              (4) 7 April evening : I have called the nodal officers no [protected], then it was found that my mobile number stored in your system is incorrect, however you have my same mobile bill as address proof. The customer care person apologized for the mistake, and said he raised a complaint and it will be resolved by 8 April.

                              (5) 8 April 4.00 PM : I have called [protected], and the lady said that it will be released with in a hour.

                              6.30 PM : I have called again, then I have been told that it will be released by 8 PM

                              8.26 PM : I have called again, then the person told me that he will call me and update me the status after 5 min.

                              8.56 pm : The person did not call me so I called him again, and I have found that my call is getting diverted and getting ended.


                              I have payed to Tata Indicom, because the service promised to me satisfy my requirement. Now after selling the product why did you terminate my connection without any valid reason? I want the loss I am through due to your poor conduct, to be compensated by Tata Indicom. Also the connection to be resumed by 6.30 pm. If not then I need the full refund of the device charge and connection charge.

                              I need a clear explanation from your side what is the reason behind that? Tata indicom is a prominent service provider, and suppose to give very good service, so what you are doing with me is unexpected, *********?

                              Pls find below on a complaint raised by me in the month of october,with
                              regard to the same i was totally dissatisfied with your service & i have
                              asked your people to DISCONNECT my INTERNET CONNECTION and i was informed by your customer service person that the same has been done and with regard
                              to the BILLING QUERY they told me that the excess amount collected will be
                              REFUNDED.

                              Today (05/12/2009) i have received a BILL for the month of NOVEMBER , I
                              am totally DISSAPOINTED & IRRITATED ,i dont have any words to express it.

                              How can your people send me a bill when i have already DISCONNECTED the
                              services and instead of REFUNDING the excess amount collected from me they
                              have DEBITED the charges for the month of NOVEMBER from the EXCESS AMOUNT available in my account.

                              I want all my MONEY REFUNDED without any further delay or else i would
                              have to approach the CONSUMER COURT for further action regarding this type of
                              WORST SERVICE.

                              Note:The customer service no :[protected] & Toll free no[protected] both
                              are of no use since its getting DISCONNECTED if the a/c no provided is
                              INCORRECT as in my case my A/C NO[protected] is already CANCELLED and how
                              will i be able to contact your customer care person since the system
                              should be user friendly as there should be a option to transfer the call to the
                              customer service person if the there is some problem for the customer to
                              get through to the customer service person through the IVR SYSTEM.

                              Tata photon plus - Worst service, worst speed.

                              I took tata photon plus in on 29th july. they said it will be activated on the same day but it dint.
                              i called them 1000 times for 5 days after that it finally activatetd with worst speed and frequent breakdown of connection.

                              i recharged it with Rs 700 for 1 GB. I dint download anything or dint see any videos but still after 1 hr simple browsing my balance was 500 Mb .i called customer care and they said they cant do anything..

                              I think people should take strict action against this type of service. They are making us fool. Tata photon authority should take these matter seriously.
                              TATA PHOTON PLUS SINKS

                              These Tata Photon guys are really harassing the people and playing and fooling people all around. I happen to be one of their recent victims with Tata Photon No. [protected]. In spite of purchasing their service some two weeks back, on 15th Nov., 2010 to be exact, they still haven't delivered the Invoice yet. I mean, how can this happen. In today's time, can you think of a situation that you have paid for something and the guy tells you that Invoice will be given after so many days. I have been following up with them each day since then, but every time the lady at their outlet (RT Nagar, Bangalore) tells me tomorrow it will be given.

                              Not only this, they took some ten days to deliver the bag which they were offering on promotion. Talking of speed - it is a sham. Hardly you get the speed of 3.1 Mbps which they promise in their collaterals.

                              Surprising is the fact, that people over there are not committed. They keep on promising the customer and keep on falling on their promises. It is quite shameful to see this type of service levels coming from a company which happens to be the group company of one of the revered business houses of India.

                              I'm Tata Photon + customer from the last 7+ months. l got this connection from Coimbatore and now i have moved to Gulbarga. On 2/07/2011, my tata photon plus account was disconnected . While enquire the same to your customercare, they have informed me as "the connection was disconnected due to cancellation request received from your mail" But I was not sent any cancellation request through my mail. I was also check my email sent items. In this regard I have make call to the call centre for 4 or 5 times on 03 & 4 /07/2011 to explain my problem. After that the problem was soloved on 05/07/2011 onwards. But this connection was disconnected
                              on 09/07/2011. At that time, the call center peopele told that, the same, ie., "the connection was disconnected due to cancellation request received from your mail" I have explained him several time for reconnection. But the call center people told that, "you are only sent the cancellation mail, hence please go the tata indicom outlet for re conncetion". Even though this problem was created because of your worst service, i have waste my precious time around 5 hours in he past one weak.

                              This is caused because of your worst service only. Hence I will not go to tata indicom outlet for reconnection. If you didn't need my tata photon plus connection, dont activate again and informed me through mail for refund rule. I was not expecting such worst service from Tata, which is very reputed brand.

                                I am Avninder Pal Singh from Chandigarh India. I purchased one data card for my home usage 5 days back i.e. 26/04/2010. I received all the kit and my data card, data card number, USB cable, guide book, scratch card.
                                But still my data card is not activated and I call all the help numbers that is given on the guide book. And also on the data card. I call 50 times the agent who gave me this data card but now he is not picking my call. Then I speak to the agent in call center then he guide me only for the installation but not for activated. He said that he will ring me after some time in the evening but still I am blank.

                                  I bought a Tata Photon + data card last month.Account No .[protected].No is [protected](Post Paid) .I started facing problems with the device . I made a call to customer care on 11th April.Engineer came to check the device on 12th April ( very impressive service ) and said that there is something wrong with the device and it will be replaced with in one week. After that starts my struggle with Tata Photon customer care.Every time I call I get just one answer - Your request is in progress and an engineer will be there.Today is 23rd April and I am still waiting for a call from an engineer and customer care.I wrote an email to the nodal officer and got a reply that they will get back to me within 48 hours but I am still waiting.

                                  I would relay appreciate if somebody from teh comapny can look into this mater and provide a solution or return my money .

                                  I got this tata photon+ usb device along with my laptop at a promotional price>It worked well for a year but recently for past 3 months the device is not working and we have been calling the customer care almost every week.Their engineer came and checked the device .He found out that its not working so he said they will install a anteena for free for better signal strength and so on.But the problem remains.They dont want to change the device since its out of warranty.

                                  I am surprised that companys like TATA is also doing nothing to rectify the problem but doing all to blame it on customer and seriously going after money(bills) etc.
                                  its very unfair on companys part without satisfying customers , they have closed the complaint.amazing
                                  i bought a tataphoton+ device 2 weeks before. past two i got a problem with the device when it is connected to my computer.hwo to rectify it i don't know. pls help me to solve my problem.

                                    Not returning refund check of 2500 from Feb 2010.
                                    I paid 2500 for new tat photon plus plan. Tata employee came and cross checked the connectivity at my home. They found bad signal strenth. So they did not alloweed to allocate tata photon plus decide to me. As a next step, they said that they will send me cheque of 2500 Rs in next 25 days. It is 3+ months, I have not get any cheque.                                       I would like to file a complaint against Tata Photon+ for their irresponsible after sale service and the trouble I have faced due to the same.

                                      I purchased Tata Photon+ and Tata walki on 7th April with a cash payment of 2399/- for Photon+ with an additional cash payment of 600/- for postpaid scheme allowing 5GB data usage for next two months.Along with this cash payment, I made a cheque payment of 1250/- for walki. The Tata Indicom representative Mr. Nilesh Loharkar filled in single form(Form No.1767731) for these two services and have mentioned both the amounts on this.

                                      Tata photon+ instrument was handed over to me on 7th April itself along with postpaid data services scratch card. Walki connection was installed on 8th April.

                                      Issues:
                                      1. Mr. Nilesh Loharkar did not hand over the receipts for both the instruments inspite of repeated requests. He kept on promising that he will send it to my mail which was not done. After contacting Mr. Samir Dey who is the Nodal office for tata Indicom, on 15th April, I received the receipt for walki on 15th april. However, I am yet to receive the receipt for tata Photon+ connection.
                                      2. Mr. Nilesh loharkar activated my tata photon+ connection on 8th april. However, the connection was accessible only till 12th April. From 13th april onwards, I am not able to access internet using Tata photon+. I have been getting an error ‘Remote computer did not respond’ since 13th april.
                                      3. I repeatedly contacted customer care for this issue resolution. They kept asking for account number which was never provided by Mr. Nilesh Loharkar/any tata representative. I contacted customer care 4 times. Each time they were not able to trace my Photon+ connection anywhere in their database. They took contact number of Mr. Nilesh Loharkar each time but didn’t do anything.I also contacted Nodal officer on landline on 14th April. The call was answered by a person named ‘Hari’. After explaining all the details to him, he expressed his apology and promised that some action will be taken and the connection will start soon. He also noted down contact number of Mr.Nilesh Loharkar but didn’t do anything.
                                      4. On 15th April, I contacted nodal officer again. First time the call was answered by a girl who claimed to be in the team of nodal officer. I explained the issue to her to receive the same patent answer from her as well. On insisting that I want to speak to nodal officer, Mr. Samir Dey came on line. I explained the issue to him. He requested for MEID(A10000040D5005).He promised that he will trace the photon+ stick in the system and will also send some technical person to fix the issue.
                                      5. On 15th April evening, I got a call from Tata Photon+ Technical support. The guy claimed, the MEID is not yet activated. He also claimed that although I used the internet for 4 days for normal surfing, he is not able to trace the usage. I find this very surprising and dangerous. I gave him the number of Mr.Nilesh Loharkar. However, I am yet to hear from him/anyone else.

                                      Although I had purchased the Photon+ connection for home internet usage, I haven’t been able to use it since past 7 days. The issue is still not sorted. This whole episode has caused me lot of mental stress. I want to return the useless tata photon+ connection with full refund of my money i.e. 3000/- plus 5000/- for the mental trouble caused by their irresponsible customer care.

                                      Tata Photon+ — non activation of photon+ instrument

                                      Tata Photon+ not working since last 4 months but Company is not responding and no try is given to activate my connection. When I call to call centre, they infomred me to write mail. When I wrote mail there was no reply. When called back they had closed my call saying resolved. My photon + is still inactive and company has closed the call.
                                      I have purchased photon plus on 27th Mar submitting the proofs. My Photon plus number is [protected]. Proofs were verified by the dealer at Chromepet, Chennai. I have invested my money and time in getting those proofs with which i have already bought a gas connection and a reliance connection. I submitted Rental agreement as residence proof. Your dealer asked me to get a signature from a Notary public and I did the same. After 8 days the dealer is saying that proof is not acceptable. I don’t know what he was doing through out that eight days and he saying something when I contact. He never contacted me so far. Now they are asking me to submit a different proof. I have no patience to repeat the procedure again for which i have to spend money and time again. So kindly look into this matter and do the needful. If the proof is not acceptable, you could have informed me in prior when I shown them to you. What they were doing for this past 8 days. Yesterday the same office gave me a different reply that tata indocom is upgrading something and that is the reason your connection is not working. Like this many contradictions are there.

                                      So kindly look into this matter and do the needful. I have already waited for days without any progress. If you think you cant help me in this regard, i have an option which i will let you know when you contact me in this regard. Thank you. Regards.

                                      Tata Photon+ — No aftersale service as promised

                                      I logged a complaint with TATA customer care stating that I am not geting the promised speed,in return I was promised that an engineer will visit to reslove within 24 hours but its been 3 days and no one turned out.I have been following it from past 3 days and eberytime customercare says that they are forwarding the complaint to higher department.

                                        Iam using tata photon whiz for 6 months. now it shows anytime as "error the remote computer doesn't respond". many times i complaint about these problem, but the customer care workers are not mine about that matter. some time it shows authenticating and many times it shows error. Now the same problem occured so i recharged my account for RS.224 as extra amount. but the balance amount shows Rs.00.0. so i informed it to the customer care service. they promised me that they will clear my problem within three hours. but no single actions are taken even now. so iam going to change for Reliance broadband communications and i also told to my friends to not use the tata photon services..
